Chapter 7 Visiting Bellas cottage
Walking through the town after school Bella lead Blitzo and Stolas through the town safe and sound as Stolas explained about his telekinetic powers "I just stare very hard and then my eyes get all hot and I can feel the strangeness and I fell like I can move almost anything in the world…do you believe me right?" Asked Stolas hoping Bella and Blitzo believe him "Oh I believe that you should believe in whatever power you think you have inside of you, believe with all your heart" said Bella smiling as the threesome stopped at a house that looked beautiful and had a lovely garden.
"This…this is where Miss Stella lives" said Bella as Stolas noticed a swing curious "Why is there a swing here?" He asked as Blitzo looked sad as Bella looked away as flashbacks show
Bellas voice: a girl I know used to live in that house her life was good and happy
Shadowed it showed a fox girl in the flashback as a male fox like sinner and a green witch angel were smiling at the little girl
Bellas voice: when she was just 2 years old her mother died, her father was a overlord and a mayor and needed someone to look after things at him so he invited his step sister to come and live with them…but *Shadow shows the familiar swan demon* the girls aunt was a mean person who treated the girl very badly
The flashback ends as a familiar swan placed a hand on the little fox girls shoulder
"Stella" said Stolas as Bella sadly nodded "Yes and worst of all when the girl was five her father died" she said as Stolas gasped "No how did he die?" Asked Stolas "The police decided he killed himself" said Bella "That's suicide! Why would he do such a thing?" Asked Stolas "Nobody knows *smiles* but the end is happier, after her hard work she got her license and founded a little impling baby she adopted and raised as her son and rented a small cottage from a lovely farmer for just $50 a month and covered in honeysuckle and planted hundreds of wildflowers and a little nursery garden of vegetables and moved out of her wicked aunts house and got her freedom and got her son safe and sound" said Bella
"That is amazing good for you" said Stolas as the threesome walked down a little forest path "Do you know why I told you this?" Asked Bella "No why?" Asked Stolas "You were born into a family that dosent always like you but one day…things are going to be very diffrent, now would you like for us to go inside for some tea and cookies?" Asked Bella as Stolas nodded "Yes please I would…*Turns and sees the cottage from the story as his eyes widdendd* this…this is the cottage from your story! That fox child is you and the little imp boy *Looks at Blitzo who looked down* no…" Stolas said in realization.
"Yes…*steps in* Aunt Stella, my aunt and also Blitzos adopted Aunt" said Bella as she got a campfire cooker as Blitzo looked at Stolas "Sorry I didnt tell you that Bella was my mom mostly for my safety especially since Aunt Stella dosent like imps" said Blitzo as Stolas nodded as seeing Stellas cruelty he believed him as Bella got some tea and mugs for the two children "Yes When I left my home…Aunt Stella home, I had to leave all my treasures behind" said Bella "Treasures?" Asked Stolas curious "Phtographs of my mom and dad, a beautiful homemade vine doll with purple hair my mom made me named Mathera *gets some milk* wants some milk?" Asked Bella as Stolas shook his head "No thank you but…why dont you run away?" Asked Stolas "I often thought about it but…I cant abandon my children and Blitzo felt the same way, and if I couldn't teach I have nothing at all" said Bella.
"Mom is right, and I cant leave Doghy or the others alone to that beast" said Blitzo "You two are really brave" said Stolas "Not as brave as you are" said Bella "I thought that grown-ups weren't afraid of anything" said Stolas as Bella smiled at the owl "That's quite the contrary, all grown ups get scared just like children" said Bella patting his head as they enjoyed some tea and cookies.
Afterwards outside Stellas house Bella. Blitzo and Stolas were watching Stella as they carefully hid to not be seen as the swan was packing up exercise equipment "There she is *Sees the equipment* Shot put" said Stolas "Hammerthrow" said Blitzo "Javalin" said all three at the amazing throwing stuff for someone so slender as Stella as she finished loading up her stuff yelped seeing a black cat who curiously looked at it as she yelled at it to go away.
"She's afraid of cats?" Asked Stolas curious "Black cats she is very superstitious" said Bella "I wanted to pull a prank playing on that belief but Mom told me a big no so I wont get hurt" said Blitzo as Stella kicked the poor cat as it scampers away "Poor kitty I know how you feel" said Stolas "Hay its ok Owl boy he is ok" said Blitzo patting his shoulder 'I hope so come on lets go get your treasures" said Stolas as he ran on to the front door "No Stolas/Hay stop!" Said Bella and Blitzo worried as the owl ran up to the door "Come on she is gone lets go" he said as while the fox female and imp were worried…they followed.
Meanwhile with the swan…well Chen shoddy idea with saw dust caused her clunker of a car to break down as she growled mumbling profanities "Come on move you pice of junkyard fodder shift…" she growled as she got out to checked the engine and smelled the smell of burnt sawdust as she growled as she with amazing strength dragged the car to her home ready to give Lord Chen a piece of her mind!
Back with the heros they managed to enter the house as Blitzo told Stolas all the stories his adopted mom told him "Mom told me how the place was lovely and filled with photos showing the shine family and paintings and books of grandma Florinas pressed flower collection and how I wish I had the chance to see" said Blitzo as they came to the living room as above the fireplace was a portrait of Stella dressed for the olympics proud and strong as Bella was sad "oh, my fathers portrait used to hang there" she said sadly as the young imp and owl looked at Stellas portrait.
"If she didnt have such a bad temper she would had been quite lovely" said Stolas "Unfortunately her adopted was a real piece of work to her and her older brother my uncle Andrephelus unfortunately Uncle Andre got disowned by his mother for revealing he was gay and married a half imp half sucubus bar tender and bouncer" said Bella as she saw a beautiful rosewood box with a image of a compass rose and a fox curled around it lovely as she sighed "oh my fathers chocolate box *Lifts the lid showing bell like chocolates wrapped in colorful foil as she smiled* his grandmother made this and after supper he take a chocolate cut in half and always give me the bigger piece *Gets sad* when he passed away Aunt Stella would count them so I couldn't sneak one and mock me by eating one saying it was to good for me" she said sadly as Stolas tried to take two, one for Bella and one for Blitzo "Why not have one" asked Stolas surprising the two "Woah really?" Asked Blitzo "Oh no no no what if she noticed" said Bella worried as Stolas humid and put the candies away "Where is Mathra?" Asked Stolas 'Upstaris" she said as hStolas ran up with Blitzo following as Bella tried to put the lid on but was to distracted "Oh Stolas! Blitzo!" She yelped following the two upstairs into a room that looked like it belonged to a child filled with paintings and books that belonged to Bella and her mother and father "This is my room *Shows a ported of a dark skinned male humanoid with blue fox ears and nine tails dressed in a kimono proud and strong looking.* and this is my father.
"Whats his hame?" Asked Stolas curious "Eclipse shine but I always call him Moonshine and he called me Bellflower" said Bella wistfully as she saw still ok on her bed a thin vine like creature with simple black dot button eyes with purple strangle like hair and vine like hands and feet as she smiled at the doll "There was no way that grandpa Eclipse killed himself mama" said Blitzo as he and Stolas shared a look of understanding that there was no way such a kind man would kill himself even though Blitzo never knew his grandfather his mom told him stories of eclipse shine. "I dont think so either" said Bella with a knowing sad look as Stolas then studied the little doll "Is that Mathra?" Asked Stolas as Bella nodded.
Stellas voice: CHEN!
That caused the three to flinch at the loud voice as they carefully peek downstairs and saw Stella having dragged her car back effortlessly was yelling at Lord Chen on the phone pissed at him selling a broken car. "You useless used-car salesman Beeper King scum! I want you around here now with another car! Yes. Of Course I know what 'caveat emptor' means, you low-life liar! I'm gonna sue you, burn down your showroom, and take that no-good jalopy and shove it up your bazooka! When I'm finished with you, you're gonna look like roadkill! You what…?" She said as she got suspicious as she went to the chocolate box which was slightly opened and growled 'Wh his in my house! Come out and fight like a man!" She barked looking around "*Whispers* shoudlent we hide or something?" Asked Stolas "Yes you and Blitzo go to the end of that hallway down the stairs and out the kitchen door I'll distract her" said Bella guesturing for them to hurry and go now.
The two hurried as the group hurried down the stairs avoiding Stella who was on the war path looking for the robbers as the two heard a rattling noise coming down the stairs leading to the kitchen as the two hid under a table worried that Stell had caught them but it was just Bella as she came down as the two sighed in relief "come on you two hurry" said Bella whispering as the threesome hurried into the basement to look for a way out as they tried the seller doors but the doors were locked with a chain and padlock.
"Ok who would do that?" Asked Blitzo but they had to hide as Stella came down with her spear looking for the three in anger "Some rats are gonna die today!" She bellowed as she heard the sound of a small window closing as she ran to the celler door pulling the chain and paddock off running out of the basement door not noticing Stolas was the one who did it as a distraction as outside she swung the shot breaking a statue as she looked around angery as she screamed and head back into the house through the front door as seeing it was safe Bella, Blitzo and Stolas walked out happy they got out ok and got away from the house.
"Oh goodness that was scary and a surprise" said Bella glad the children were ok as Stolas gently took her hand to feel his heart "Feel my heart, weren't you the most scared you ever been in your whole life?" Asked Stolas "Very but it was mostly for both of you, now come on lets go" she said as they walked down the path "This isnt fair she shouldn't be allowed to that people like that, somebody got to teach that mad bird a lesson, we can wait until she leaves again and we can get your doll and some of your parents things and…" started Stolas but Bella looked at Stolas serious faced "I am kidding kidding now" he said "Stolas, Blitzo you as well come here…and look at me, promise me you will never go back into that house again, both of you" she said firmly as the two nodded "We promise" they said in unison "Ok…come on lets head back to my cottage" said Bella as they walked to her home…
However in Stolas mind a plan was brewing to help Bella out, he wont let such a horrid women hurt his favorite kind teacher.
Authors note: poor Bella having her backstory revealed and shown as she shows Stolas and Blitzo her old home and was nearly caught by Stella who was Bella and Blitzos aunt. Luckily Stolas isnt gonna take this sitting down
Next chapter Stolas practices his telekinesis to professional levels and distracts DHORKS and goes to get Mathra back while trying to spook Stella
