Love your faces!
Staring at the small Guardian that had come to him, had shown him the truth of what was to come, and how to defeat the enemies of Calamity Ganon, Astor frowned. He crossed his arms before turning around to walk into his personal rooms that the Yiga had given to him.
The clan had already suffered from two defeats so far. He was not looking forward to even more painful defeats.
From what he knew, the Zora and Gerudo people had joined the Hylian alliance. Next would most likely come the Rito and Goron people. He didn't know just how they were defeating the Yiga with such ease but it did not amuse him. It left a bad taste in his mouth about the fact that the Champions were gathering together and defeating the clan when they were supposed to be so powerful.
Strong.
Unbending.
But, here they were: weak and helpless under the bastard Kohga's control. Perhaps it would have been better in the long run if they were still under Kira's control. He could remember the few times he had met her in her travels. Even banished from the desert, she had been strong and only wanted the absolute best to be the ones who fought for her people. She had punished those who had slacked in their training, and used those who did not or could not fight to grow the size of the clan.
She had been much stronger than Kohga was showing himself to be, but she had also been banished. And as far as he knew, was dead. Or so he had been told when he had asked about her and if they could use her as a mercenary.
Sitting down at his personal work table, he started to shift through plans when a knock on his door drew his attention from the papers. He stared at the woman who stepped inside of his room. She had clad herself in a simple robe that covered herself from her neck down to her feet. Just above the collar of her robe, she wore a neck cover that covered her neck fully.
What truly caught his attention was the fact that she had left her mask and uniform behind, most likely in her room, and her hair was loose down her back.
"Ah," he choked, staring at the pretty face that was giving him an amused look. She obviously dyed her eyebrows black, like every other Yiga did, but she was also standing before him without the usual things that would hide her truth from the world at large. It left him shocked to say the least. "Yes? What can I do for you?" he finally asked, putting the papers aside.
Her pale pink lips quirked upwards, smiling at him as she moved further into the room, the door falling shut behind her. "I wish to speak with you," she said. Her voice had a slight rasp to it, Astor tilting his head. She pressed a hand to her throat with a wry grin. "A lucky shot during a battle. Again, there is something that I wish to speak with you about."
"What is it that you wish to speak about?" he asked. He sat back and waved a hand to the chair near him. She walked over, robe rustling softly, and took a seat. He noted that along with the robe, she wore the simple slip-on shoes that most Gerudo women wore. They were simple, warm, and clung to the sand easier than most shoes out there.
He had to admit that on her, they were probably the sexiest thing he had seen in many years.
She smiled once more, crossing her legs and arranging her robe to only hint at what was under it. "I find myself in a dilemma," she admitted. She rested her chin on one hand. Astor raised an eyebrow.
"And just what kind of dilemma is that?" he inquired.
"I find myself worried about the Yiga clan as a whole. And of course, Lord Kohga in particular," she stated, playing with just a bit of her long hair. She gazed at him through her eyelashes, studying him. "He is a good leader to us, do not get me wrong. He has made us that much richer even if he has not been able to get our original home back. But..." She trailed off before continuing. "He is not the strongest."
"I have noticed that, yes," Astor admitted, nodding his head. "What are you worried about in particular?" he asked.
She sighed and bit at her bottom lip. "As I said, he is not the strongest. Leadership wise, he is good. But I fear that most of us have become weak under his leadership."
Astor hummed, moving to rest his arms on the table, staring at her as he thought. "Do you believe that he will be useless for the Great Calamity Ganon's plans?" he questioned, staring at her.
She sighed, hand pushing her hair back as she mentally sent an apology to Kohga and Sooga for what she was about to say. "I do. I believe that he will end up being useless in the end. He will most likely find himself defeated each and every time that he goes out into the field to fight for us. And as much as having Master Sooga there to protect him helps, it hurts us all," she said, leaning forward, eyes wet. "I fear that we can't trust in him as we used to."
"Why?" Astor commanded.
Her eyes looked up at Astor before quickly looking away, her fingers twisting together in the robe sleeves. "You know of the last leader of the Yiga Clan, yes? Kira?" she asked. She reached out and grasped his arm. "I really should not talk about this outside of this room, so I must know what you will not tell others that I told you about this."
Astor stared at her before he nodded his head. His eyes flicked over to where the Guardian was sitting, hidden behind the hanging gauzy curtains. "I will not tell any others. Even our connection to Lord Ganon is not listening to us currently. Our Lord has many things to do and is not able to linger here when I do not need to speak with him or to discuss plans," he promised.
She smiled, her lips trembling as she nodded, pulling her hand back. "Kira was powerful. So very strong. Yes, she did sometimes go too far, but she helped our clan become so very strong," she spoke softly. She leaned towards him, seemingly ignoring the way that her robe shifted a bit to show her chest as she spoke. Astor glanced down only briefly before looking back up to her face. "She was strong. She made us strong. But Kohga? He turned on her and took her position by Right of Force."
"I had thought that was just how your people changed the leaders if the new leader had not been chosen by the last leader," Astor said.
"They do. Thus the Right of Force. But to take her down, Kohga had to use tricks that were known only to his family line. His father had died when he was young, having been the original Lord Kohga," she said softly. She smoothed her fingers through her hair, letting the locks drop down over her shoulder. "He used techniques that none of us can use to defeat her. There is very little straight forward in power when it comes to him," she admitted.
"So he did not win the Headship of the Yiga through brains and power as others did," Astor summarized, sitting back. He looked thoughtful as she gazed at him through his lashes.
"No," she hummed. Knowing that it was a lie.
Ninsa had personally helped to hone all of his power and abilities after his mentor had finished with him. Astor only knew the fact that they could trick people with illusions to get close to them but there was so much more to the Yiga clan. What he didn't know was that they were meant to be hidden and in the shadows.
"I fear though that he has dragged us down, and Lady Urbosa will see our weakness to come after us with her Divine Beast. With such a creation, she would decimate our numbers," she hummed.
Astor groaned, nodding his head as he rubbed at his temples. "Yes, I can see why you are worried," he said. He sat up with a frown. "I will help where I can, but you need to come talk with me about what you see and hear."
"Of course, I will," she agreed, smiling softly and playing with a bit of her hair again. She frowned once more. "I need to admit to something else."
"Yes?" he asked, the woman looking down with a blush spreading over her cheeks.
"My name is Kiri amongst the Yiga. My mother had been a very young Kira and she had allowed my father to raise me while she acted as if she had never had a child," she said softly. She shifted closer to him. "Will you keep my secret safe from the others?" she asked, her robe sliding open a bit more. His eyes were drawn to the skin that was exposed, palms itching to stroke over the soft skin that was exposed to his eyes.
He smiled, reaching to take her hand and pressed a kiss to the back of it, feeling as if he had found the perfect partner for the future to come.
"Of course I will protect your secret," he promised, chuckling when she jumped on him and hugged him tight, pressing her body against his.
"Thank you so much, Master Astor! How should I show you my appreciations?" she asked softly. Her lips brushed against his neck, her breath hot and sending a shot of heated lust straight through him, drawing a smirk from him at the thought of a willing Yiga lover.
He knew that if she didn't want to do a thing, he wouldn't be able to force her to do it. They both knew that and here she was offering herself up to him willingly and happily.
"If you so wish, who am I to stop you from doing as you please?" Astor asked, purring softly as Kiri pulled away with half lidded eyes and a slow smirk. She chuckled as she shifted and then he lost all thoughts as she showed just how appreciative she was.
