Ben rushes through the jungle to reach where Bumpy is being held while the others chase after him.
"Ben, slow down," Darius said. "We won't get Bumpy back without a plan."
Peter and Yaz were rushing ahead to try and catch up, but Laura was back with Sammy, which surprised her since she was one of their faster members.
"Laura, why are you running so slow?" Sammy wonders.
"Guess I just wanted to be next to you." Laura shrigged.
Sammy gave a soft chuckle. "Really?"
"You're right. We should hurry." Laura said, rushing off.
Peter managed to tackle Ben before he gave away their position when he managed to spot Hawkes. Peter was just as surprised to see them as they stayed hidden.
"Find her?" Brooklynn asks.
"No. But I found Kenji and his new best friend," Peter said, gesturing ahead.
"Hawkes?" Brooklynn said in surprise.
Darius sighed. "Mr. Kon is exactly the type of guy who would work with a jerk like Hawkes."
"Yeah, but who expected Kenji to be?" Brooklynn asked, remembering what Hawkes did.
"Well, at least he'll be mad when he sees the control chips are gone," Darius said.
"And Brooklynn deleted the blueprints," Sammy said. "How's he gonna sell his tech to BioSyn now?"
They watched as Kon left the labs and didn't seem as upset as they thought he would be. "Why does his mad face look so calm?" Ben wonders.
"So?" Kenji asks.
"The chips are gone, and the workshop is trashed," Kon said.
"By the earthquake?" Kenji asks.
"And those children." Kon sighed. "No sign of Norman."
"And the Spider?" Kraven asks.
"You can go off and search for him," Kon said, tossing a headband-like device. "This can be used on the Cross-Species if you need it."
Kraven chuckled as he placed it over his head. "These will make excellent prey for the Spider."
"Ugh, the way he says that," Peter muttered as he watched Kraven leave.
"Okay, so what, we don't get paid?" Hawkes asks.
"A Kon always thinks ahead," Kon stated. "There's a backup of the chip schematics. It's on a flash drive hidden in the jaw of one of those BRADXs."
"But all the BRADXs are down, so..." Kenji said.
"So we turn them back on, son," Kon said. "And then it's just a matter of calling the right one over."
"All right, let's go to the compound," Kenji said.
"Hold on. You're not going." Kon said. "I'm putting you in charge of the assets. The chips are the priority, but these dinosaurs need to be in perfect condition for Dodgson. And those twins, well..."
"Sure, Dad. I'm on it." Kenji said.
Ben punched the tree in anger.
"Ben?" Laura asks.
"I'll follow Kenji," Ben said. "Hopefully, he'll lead me to Bumpy."
"Hey, should we go with you?" Brooklynn asks.
"No. The rest of you need to get to that flash drive first." Ben stated.
"I'll go with," Laura offered. "I don't understand the tech stuff, and I need to sink my claws into those guys."
Ben's right. We didn't put all this work in to stop Mr. Kon just for him to blow it all up with a backup." Darius said. "Let's get to the compound before they do. You two go after Bumpy."
Peter sneaked them into the compound first, swinging made it easier, and without the drones following them around, they were able to sneak inside and it seemed that neither Norman or any Cross-Species were there.
"I'll check where all the other BRADXs went down," Brooklynn said, logging into the computer.
"Good idea," Darius said, checking the BRADs in the area with Yaz.
Peter and Sammy kept an eye out as they looked around, then looked down to see that Jeff was doing the same thing. Peter chuckled and caressed the shark's back as he cooed in response.
"Any luck?" Sammy asked.
"No flash drive, but thanks to the map, we know exactly where to look for the BRADXs." Brooklynn said.
"And since we changed the password, there's no way Mr. Kon will be able to get the info." Darius said.
"Or reactivate them," Brooklynn stated.
"Good, but if Kraven is out there, it is only a matter of time," Peter sighed.
They heard an elevator dinged, and they rushed off.
Laura and Ben made it to the site where they saw the twins were controlling the dinsoars, including Bumpy. There was no sign of the Cross-Species creatures, meaning that they were indeed already out with Kraven hunting Peter.
"Don't worry, girl, we're coming," Ben said.
Laura began to sniff the air, feeling like she recognized a scent. Kenji came up behind them, looking off to the dinos. "So, what's the plan?"
Laura didn't waste any time as she leaped and tackled Kenji to the ground, pinning him down and used her claws to pin him down. She then raised her other hand, pointing her claws at him, preparing to strike.
"YOU!" Laura whispered in anger. "Give me one good reason not to claw your face off right now! You let your father control Bumpy!"
"I tried to stop him!" Kenji promised. "I swear."
"Why should we believe you?" Ben asks.
"I don't know... I don't know," Kenji seemed like he truly didn't know what his dad was planning. Laura let him go and growled, putting him aside for now. "If I would've just listened to you guys I don't expect you to forgive me, but if it helps at all, I'm sorry." He said, getting back to his feet. "So, so sorry."
"I wanna trust you, but..." Ben looked out to Bumpy being controlled.
"I'm gonna help you guys get Bumpy back if it's the last thing I do," Kenji promised.
In the swamp nbiome, everyone was still searching for that drive.
"There should be three close to the water and two in the trees over there," Brooklynn said.
"We'll check the trees," Yaz said, walking over with Sammy.
Peter was going to join the others when he felt something off. He looked down and noticed Jeff was sniffing something out and growled out in a certain direction.
"What is it, Jeff?" Peter asked, looking over to where Jeff was growling.
Peter tried to get a better look into the fog, but it was getting harder. Then he felt his senses go off as he saw Rhino charging right at him. Peter grabbed Jeff, shooting out a web that he then used to swing overhead, escaping Rhino's charge as he ran and rammed into a tree. Peter landed on the ground and snarled at Rhino as he put Jeff down.
"Peter?" Darius asks.
"Get that drive!" Peter told them. "I'll take care of him!"
Rhino roared as he charged at Peter again, getting him to shoot a web at his face, leaping over his head, and then yanking on the web, sending Rhino crashing to the ground. Peter then ran up and leaped to punch Rhino when suddenly Vulture swooped in and picked him up.
"Vulture!" Peter exclaimed in anger.
Vulture screeches as he strikes Peter, but he manages to shoot a taser web, getting Vulture to release Peter, allowing him to fall. Peter saw that he didn't have much to swing from and groaned. "I hope this works!" He then revealed that he added glider wings underneath his arms that he managed to use to glide. "Whoo!"
Peter glided his way down the biome, quickly shooting a web when he was far enough, and swung around, landing on the ground.
Kenji managed to lead the twins away while Ben and Laura were trying to free Bumpy from the mind control she was currently in.
"I'll be right back. Just checking all the assets are good." Kenji said, picking up the remote and showed it to Ben. "Ben, take it. It's the only way to move her."
"I won't. I'm not controlling her." Ben stated.
"Look, it's the only option," Kenji said.
"It isn't right," Ben replied.
"How else are you gonna move her?" Kenji asked, knocking the berries out of his hands.
Laura growled at Kenji. "Well, this wouldn't be a problem if she didn't have a chip in her head."
"I agree, but we're kinda stuck where we are," Kenji said.
"We're stuck where we are because of you," Laura said.
They then heard Bumpy moan, getting them to look towards her, wondering what happened. Then Laura sniffed the air, causing her to spin and snarl when she saw the twins had returned.
"Well, well, look who it is," They said, controlling Bumpy.
"Stop this, now," Laura demanded them, or you're going to have your own ahdn shoved up uour-"
Before she could finish that threat, Laura was smacked by Bumpy's tail and slammed into the cages. Laura was knocked out, so Kenji rushed in to try and grab the remote, which ended with Kenji being grabbed.
"You don't have to do this, Bumpy," Ben said, seeing Bumpy being controlled to attack him.
"Stop! You're going to hurt him!" Kenji cried.
"It doesn't matter to the boss," He said.
"Well, it matters to me!" Kenji said, trying to fight them off, but it was too much.
Ben sighed as he looked up to see Bumpy prepare to strike. "I know this isn't you. No matter what happens, I forgive you, Bumper Car."
Then when Bumpy went for the strike, she began to fight off the control. That shocked them which allowed Kenji to push one of them into Bumpy's tail, whacking them into the cage. Laura got back up and roared as she leaped up, tackling the second to the ground, impaling her claws into his shoulders. Kenji rushed over and crushed the controller to free Bumpy.
Bumpy licked Ben, growling as Ben jumped to hug her. When the second controller was busted, it freed Toro, who was still in his cage.
"I guess we know how to get rid of the mind control now," Kenji said. "Looks like you did it, Ben."
"Real friendship can't be broken," Ben said from atop of Bumpy. He held his hand out to show he trusts Kenji again. Kenji was happy to see that as he climbed on Bumpy.
Now, in the desert biome, the group had to lose Hawkes and some other guy using the Spinosorus as they searched for the drive. They searched the last of the BRADs, and Brooklynn cheered when she had the drive.
"Got it." Brooklynn cheered.
But that was short lived when they heard the Spinosorus coming for them. Running out of the way of the creature, it circled the group and blocked their path.
"What's it doing?" Darius wonders, not understanding. That was when they saw that Hawkes was controlling the Spino. "No, they're controlling him."
The Spinosorus roared and began to chase them when suddenly the side of the biome burst open, and they saw Rhino come charging with Peter riding it. "Yipie-kai-yay!" He cheered as he leaped off the Rhino and landed on the ground with a groan. "Hey, guys. Funny seeing you here. You remember Rhino, don't ya?" Then, the Vulture came flying in and snarled. "Oh, and Vulture." Then Scorpion leaped out from the caverns. "And Scorpion." He then looked around and began counting. "Wait, that's... one, two, three, is there someone Im missing?"
Then the food platform began to break, causing them to gasp as they watched the Lizard crawl its way up and roar at the group.
"Lizard!" Peter gasped. "That's it! Wait, where's-"
Then, Kraven threw his spear, causing Peter to duck and dodge it as it flew across his face and nearly hit him. They were surrounded by all of the Cross-Species, as well as the Spinosorus and Hawkes.
Jeff gargled in concern, which nobody knew what he was saying, but they had an easy guess.
"Yeah, you said it, Jeff," Peter said.
"Uh, Peter, you got any ideas?" Darius asks.
"Just one... run!" Peter cried.
Scorpion shot out acid from its tail, causing Peter to leap and save Darius as he tossed the young boy away. Peter then shot out a web to latch onto Scorpion, using his tail to shoot acid toward Hawkes. He shrieked and dodged it as the Spinosorus began to chase the others within the drive.
Peter tried to help them, but Vulture scooped in, grabbing the webbing and yanking Peter towards Rhino. Rhino rammed Peter, sending him flying into Lizard, who slammed him into the ground with her snout and left him for Kraven's attack. Kraven rushed in, grabbing daggers from his jacket as he rushed in to strike Peter as he lunged to impale his knives into him.
"This will be the beginning of my greatest hunt ever!" Kraven exclaimed.
Peter blocked the strike and knew he needed to regroup. He couldn't take them all on at once. He grabbed Kraven's arms and struggled to push the man off before his blades could reach his chest. When he looked down, he recognized a smoke bomb on Kraven's belt and quickly grabbed it. He then crushed it, using it to escape by allowing it to fill the area with smoke. Seeing Brooklynn was in trouble, he scooped her up and swung her towards the doors, and he then helped her escape. When the others were charging at the door, Peter quickly shot out two webs to work as projectiles for himself.
"Get them to safety!" Peter exclaimed, slingshotting himself into Rhino. "I'll meet up with you guys!"
"Wait, Peter!" Brooklynn cried when the doors shut and left Peter on the other side.
"What is he thinking!?" Yaz asks.
"He's protecting us," Brooklynn said. "We gotta get to Laura. She's the only one who can help him."
They rushed their way into the main biome, and Darius stopped. "Wait, we need to blow the circuits."
"But then Peter and we will be blocked in," Yaz said.
"We don't have many options," Darius said. "They have Toro, Bumpy, and the entire Cross-Species lineup, and Kraven on their side."
"But we have to go back for them," Sammy said.
Darius considered what to do and nodded. "We will leave one path for Laura to go back to save Peter, but we need to block off the rest.
They got to work breaking every door except for one. They needed Laura to save Peter from the rest of the Cross-Species, and they needed Peter so they could take the plane and escape once Ben got Bumpy.
"So we're just gonna leave it open?" Yaz asks. "How will Ben or Laura know where it is? And how will we keep everyone else out?"
They then heard a thud in the distance and cased them to panic.
"We should hide," Darius said.
But then they heard Bumpy [bellows feom within the tunnel, getting them to gasp as they looked and saw Bumpy rush in with Laura and Ben on her back.
"Laura! Ben! Bumpy!" They cheered.
"No way."
"Wow. Way to go, guys."
"Thanks, Darius," Laura said as they slid off her back.
"But to be honest, we had a little help." Ben then revealed Kenji as he sheepishly walked forward and waved to everyone.
"Hey," Kenji said.
