"As much as I miss Kimberly- I don't miss this," Thomas said as he walked up next to Tommy and watched as Kim continued to fill page after page with a prophecy. It had been six weeks since they arrived and in the last few days, Kim had started to have frightening prophecies. They had dissected them together and he could feel that she was so close to seeing who was betraying them, but it was like that person was disguising themselves somehow. Like they were able to stay just out of her sight and it was slowly driving all of them crazy. It felt just like the last time Kiros had been close. "How long has she been at it?"

"Five hours," Tommy said as he glanced at his watch and then over at his wife. "I really need to get some food in her soon, she barely ate this morning."

"Not hungry?" Thomas asked as Tommy shook his head no. "Oh- so she's that uncomfortable."

"Yeah, something about how if this baby would stop kicking her in the stomach she might enjoy a decent meal," Tommy muttered as he shook his head. She was at the point that the OB/GYN here said to prepare for any day now- especially with the extra stress. He just wanted to get her home, but that seemed less and less likely each day. "Why isn't she able to see who is helping Kiros?"

"We're looking into it. Dad and Uncle Robert have gone through every note, scrap of paper, and interrogation record that they have from last time. Everyone they've reinterviewed has had the same story. Atlantis doesn't have anything firm, the best he has been able to work out is that the person has found some way to hide themselves from a prophet," Thomas said and Tommy gave him a sideways glance. That did not seem possible and it caused all kinds of concerns for his own world. "I know. I thought it too, but everyone in my family is refusing to speak to me at the moment. They're all rather upset with me threatening to kill Mitchell, well except Britt...but she knows more of what he did."

"They should be more worried about what is coming for JJ," Katy said as she walked up to them and placed her arms around Thomas. Thomas absentmindedly rubbed her arm as they watched Kim. He desperately needed comfort, but it was not from Katy and he knew that the Olivers knew that. "Are these making any more sense?"

"No. And she's frustrated with that as well," Tommy said and he looked over at the other couple. He had gotten used to their relationship the longer he was here, but he saw the looks that Thomas gave them every once in awhile. He had made a life for himself, but it wasn't the life he wanted. "She only has three more weeks, maybe, but everything that she's seeing…"

"I know," Thomas whispered as he shook his head. He had helped them piece together parts that did make sense to him, but so much of it was a mystery to him as well. "How are you handling that?"

"Not well. It's bad enough that she'll have to be exposed, but…we've already had one miscarriage. I don't know that we could survive a stillbirth if something were to happen," Tommy forced out as Kim placed the pen down and turned around to face them. "Babe?"

"Who is David?" Kim asked as Thomas and Katy exchanged a glance. It couldn't be. Why would he do something like this?

"Why are you asking?" Katy asked as she sat down next to Kim and Kim glanced around the room, looking for Tommy. When she locked eyes with him, he immediately stepped forward and pulled her into his body. The terror that he saw in her eyes let him know that whatever was on those papers was going to be bad. "Tommy…"

"Hey…I got you, you're okay. David isn't going to hurt me or you or the baby," Tommy said as she violently shook her head as Thomas grabbed the papers behind her and started frantically scanning them. He felt the rage building as he realized exactly who had sold his family, his wife, out all of those years ago. How had Mitchell let this happen? How had he ignored what must have been obvious about David all this time? "It may not be this world- there is still another universe that you've been seeing."

"No, it is this world. Hello brother," David said as he walked into the room and Kim fought down a scream. "She's just as pretty as the other one."

"Where am I?" Kim muttered as she tried to roll over and found her arms pinned. She stared at the ceiling as she tested the hold again and let out a groan. "Seriously? Again?"

"Again?" David asked as he loomed over her and she blinked him in to focus. Terror ripped through her as the man from her vision stared down at her. He looked nothing like Thomas, but maybe all of Thomas' siblings looked different. She had met Brittany once and the only thing they had in common was the dark hair. "This is a common thing for you?"

"It's a common thing for people who want to mess with Tommy. It's also a death wish for them," Kim stated as she let out another groan as she tried to stretch. "But I guess the question is- do you want to kill me? Or do you want to hurt them?"

"Both, although I'll let my father, Kiros take care of you," David said as Kim shook her head. Of course, Kiros would have some level of protection over his own children. "He can't hurt you? Are you not a prophetess?"

"I am, but you just pissed off the two men on this planet that will do anything to keep me alive," Kim said with a smile as she watched David shudder. So he was scared of Thomas, maybe she could get him to rethink his plan. "Explain it to me. Why do this to your brother?"

"It's got nothing to do with him and everything to do with the life I was supposed to have," David said as Kim shook her head. She was here because of a family dispute. Great. "I was supposed to have his legacy. Kiros placed me to have his legacy and then it was all ripped away."

"Well- if I'm stuck here- I'm happy to listen to your family drama," Kim quipped as David chuckled. Good- maybe she could get him to like her, even just a little bit. Any good graces she could pull from him might save her a bit later.

"You're different than his Kimberly. She never joked with me," David said with a smile as he sat down against the wall. "It started with the prophecy that said he would be the strongest ranger that ever lived…"

"He wouldn't do that," Mitchell said after listening to Tommy and Thomas explain what had happened. David had used some weapon that immediately incapacitated all of them and they had watched as he scooped Kimberly up and walked out with her. They had been able to do nothing to stop him and even when the effects of the weapon wore off, they hadn't been able to follow. "He might not like how some things have turned out, but he knows…he…"

"Cut the shit, Mitch. How long have you suspected that he was involved with Kiros?" Theo growled as Thomas stared blankly ahead. They could all feel his pain, the pain that two members of his family had betrayed him so deeply. Even though he had cut off contact with his parents years ago, he had never thought they would enable something like this.

"I wasn't sure until recently. I've suspected it for years," Mitchell admitted as the rest of his children stared at him and Tommy let out a groan. "He's my son."

"And he isn't?" Tommy yelled, pointing at Thomas as he rose to his feet. While the Truehearts might be shocked, he was pissed. He would make Mitchell pay if no one else did, someone owed him a pound of flesh and he was not picky on who it was that he took it out on. "You knowingly put my wife and child in danger because you wanted to protect a son that has obviously lost his way."

"It's not quite that simple," Sally said as she glanced around the room. "David…David's father is Kiros."

"Sal- you didn't think that was something we should have found out…I don't know…the first time Kiros came up?" Theo joined in as he moved to behind Thomas, ready to restrain him if it was absolutely necessary. If Tommy decided to take Mitchell out, he wouldn't stop him- there was very little that anyone could do to Tommy if he lost it. There was so much that Thomas could lose if he acted rashly.

"I didn't realize it until I saw the photos from…" Sally locked eyes with Thomas as he shook his head. "I had to protect him, Thomas. I am so sorry."

Theo watched Thomas as he glanced between his parents before he looked back at him. The last time he had seen Thomas look this hurt, Kimberly had just died. This time he was dealing with just how fully his parents had betrayed him.

"Hold on," Gordon stated as their parents grimaced. Their younger children had always stayed out of this, but that seemed like it was going to change today. They were going to lose their entire family for this decision to protect David. "He's nearly 50- have you ever told him this?"

"I adopted him when he was two. We never really saw the point in explaining it to him, but it did change some things at the Academy and in the Power Ranger world. It's why I rode Thomas so hard as a child, because I knew that he wasn't the spare- he was the one that would take over after me. I might have taken it too far," Mitchell explained as Tommy just shook his head. He did not want to unpack their family drama- he just wanted to get to his wife. "Tommy, we'll do everything that we can to help…"

"The fuck you will," Robert snarled as he shook his head at his brother. He had left the hospital as soon as Theo had called him, with Kimberly being pregnant, there were sure to be extra complications. Even if David did nothing, she would need immediate medical care upon her return.

"You didn't do everything that you could last time- why would this be any different?" Thomas ground out as Katy grabbed his arm and shook her head. This was not worth rehashing right now. "No. You suspected he was helping Kiros then and you let it happen. You didn't have anyone pull him from his duties- you…why did you hate her so much?"

"This isn't appropriate," Mitchell said as Tommy walked around the table and Mitchell tried to back away. He was surprised when he found himself frozen in place and Tommy glowered down at him. "Stop what you're doing."

"I don't care about your family problems. I don't care if you hated Kimberly in this world. I don't care that you're mad at being removed from your position decades ago. Or that you made the piss poor decision to protect a son that should have never been protected this way. I care that my wife and my child come home with me, in one piece and I will destroy anyone or anything that gets in my way. If that needs to start with you, I will happily oblige," Tommy said as he got as close to Mitchell as humanly possible. He heard the scrambling of the other Truehearts and he froze them in place. No one was going to interfere with him making his point, especially the people that had allowed Mitchell to continue to breathe. "I am not your son and I have four people in my life to keep alive. You aren't even close to making that list."

"Tommy," Thomas said as Tommy straightened up and Mitchell found himself able to move again. "We'll help you get her back, but David is skilled. He was injured early in his ranger career, so he was pulled out of active duty and never became an active mentor. But he was put in charge of our safe houses."

"And none of you know where all of them are," Tommy stated as Thomas nodded towards Mitchell and Tommy turned back to him. He would take his ounce of blood if Mitchell didn't speak and everyone in this room knew it. "We're going to need that list."

"I will not have you kill my son," Mitchell said as the other Trueheart children looked at him like he was crazy.

"And we're not going to allow another murder to happen on our watch," Joseph stated as Mitchell looked around at each of his children and he saw the determination in their eyes. "The list, Mitch."

"You don't need it," Sally stated as they all looked over at her. "There's only three or four places that would meet his needs. I hope I am wrong about what he will try to do to her."

"I don't promise that your son will come back to you, but I will give him a chance," Tommy said as Sally scribbled down the list and passed it over to him. She grabbed his hand and gave it a squeeze, showing her understanding even if she couldn't voice it. "Who do we need?"

"The current rangers and…well…do all of you want in?" Thomas asked as he looked around at his siblings and they nodded. "Them."

"Do you have a way to see which one of these is the most likely?" Tommy asked and Brittany grabbed the list and nodded. "How long will all of this take?"

"A couple of hours, half a day if we want to be sure," Brittany stated and Tommy let out a sigh, but nodded his head. Everything sounded too long to him. "I'll do everything I can to shorten that time."

"Thank you," Tommy said as the Trueheart children dispersed, leaving him with Sally and Mitchell. Tommy settled in one of the chairs and they glanced at him. Mitchell started to get up, but Tommy froze him in place. "No…your punishment is staying with me. You have to face what you've allowed this time- you don't get to run from it."

AN: With this latest cluster from this weekend- I wanted to remind all of you that my stories are also available under the same penname on AO3. I plan to publish on both sites until it is no longer feasible to publish here, however, this latest incident does not make me hopeful that this will continue to be semi-stable for much longer.
