Jay and Kira screamed at the bright light that engulfed their room. While Carrie and Grant heard the noise- the door was solidly stuck shut. With every swing, collision, and strike it only seemed to hold firmer. What could possibly be keeping them out? The Olivers apartment was just a normal apartment the last time they checked and that could only mean that something was keeping them out.

"Yup, got it. Seems the power surge is here," Roberto said as he materialized in the apartment and Carrie spun around to face him. "Not able to get in?"

"Nah- we just enjoy toddler screams," Carrie sassed as Roberto gave her a shocked look. "Of course we can't get in. What is going on?"

"We have a couple of guesses. Only one of those has a positive outcome. Get Axel here- I'm going to need some back up," Roberto stated and Grant motioned to himself. "You're a hell of a fighter, but we'll need more than you."

"Fine, but if that room is destroyed- you're providing someone to fix it," Carrie said as she pulled on a robe and then jogged off to wake the Power Ranger leader.

"What aren't you saying?" Grant asked as Roberto let out a sigh. "Bertie…"

"Damn it, Tommy," Roberto mumbled as Grant chuckled. He was never going to let him live it down. "They're supposed to be sending them back today, but Abdalon mentioned it might have some consequences."

"They'll be fine, right?" Grant asked as Roberto gave him a concerned look. By the sound of the toddlers, they were not fine and they needed to intervene as quickly as possible. "You need Axe to help you get in there."

"Yeah," Roberto stated as he turned his concentration to the door and Grant saw a soft glow emanate from him before he paused. "You need to take my cell- call in Abdalon, Rebekah, and Genesis. I've got to concentrate to protect them and we're going to need more than me to pull this off."

"Shit," Grant whispered before he hurriedly started making calls. This was going to be way more difficult than he had hoped.

"Car…what…why are you down here?" Patrick asked as he jumped up and Carrie sauntered past him. She beat on Axel and Julia's door, took a step back, crossed her arms, and then waited. "Carrie?"

"Are you trying…" Axel growled and he then immediately sobered from the look on her face. He let out a sigh and then hastily ran his fingers through his hair. He knew that look and although he didn't know exactly what was wrong, he was sure he was about to find out. "Where do you need me?"

"Upstairs, bring your morpher," Carrie said as Axel nodded and then disappeared back into his room for a moment. Carrie turned around and gave Patrick a confused look before shaking her head.

"I can explain…" Patrick trailed off as Carrie held up a hand and shook her head. She didn't know who the other man was and she didn't care. "Really?"

"We've got bigger issues than you hiding your boyfriend," Carrie said as Axel emerged from his room with Julia trailing behind him. "Nope. No way, missy. You are sitting this out."

"I said that. She's not listening to me and it sounds like we don't have time to argue about her coming," Axel grumbled as he pulled on a shirt and glanced between the two of them. "C'mon, let's go."

"What and why did you wake us up?" Julia asked as they stalked out of the living quarters and Carrie barely shook her head. She didn't know what was happening, she just knew that Roberto needed back up.

"This a normal thing?" Sam asked as Patrick shook his head no before heading towards his room. "Babe- they just asked for him."

"I'm going to call Cam. They'll probably need him too," Patrick stated and Sam just shook his head. When would he learn to just let it be?

"Roberto…what…is…" Axel trailed off as he could feel the power pouring out of him and he looked over at Grant. He could hear the muffled screams from the Oliver toddlers and it terrified him. "Grant?"

"Abdalon, Genesis, and Rebekah are on their way here. All he said before this started was that he'd need you to help break in," Grant said as Axel stared over at him and Julia gripped his hand even tighter as they heard another shrill scream. "Do you have any idea what to try?"

"Nope, but morphing and trying to break it open is about the only special sauce I bring," Axel said as Julia took a step back and wrapped her robe tighter around her body as she heard the terrified screams again. She glanced over at Carrie who also had tears streaming down her face. "Jules, you don't need to stay."

"I'm not leaving you alone," Julia whispered as he glanced back at her through his helmet, knowing that she could read just how much this was bothering him. He pulled out his sword and started funneling energy through it. He felt Julia's hand slip into his other hand and gulped. He desperately did not want her to be involved in this, but he felt a sudden boost of power as soon as her hand was in his. He was vaguely aware as others crowded around him, but didn't break his concentration as he tried to get the door to open. There was suddenly a blast of energy and they all went flying into the opposite wall. He didn't know how he managed it, but he was somehow able to wrap Julia up in his arms and absorbed most of the force.

When he got his senses about him, he looked up to see that the door had blown off its hinges and that the light had disappeared. Julia cringed as he helped her sit up and he glanced back to see two figures standing in the rubble. Jay and Kira continued to cry as the figures moved towards them and he felt his heart leap up into his throat. Before he was completely aware of it, he charged into the room and pinned the taller figure to the far wall. He soon found himself being slung away as Tommy counter attacked him and they both froze as they stared at each other.

"Hey, hey…it's okay…Mama's back," Kimberly whispered as Kira and Jay threw themselves at her and she caught them as well as she could before she looked around to see that Tommy had pinned Axel to the wall. "Tommy. We're back. It's our world."

"What the hell happened in here?" Tommy asked as he let Axel go and walked over and picked up both of the toddlers. "Anyone?"

"We were trying to get in. Atlantis warned us that there might be complications with sending you back- it took everything we could to protect them," Roberto said as Tommy glanced back to see the four Guardians standing in the doorway, all looking worse for wear. "Did they warn you?"

"We were just told to concentrate on keeping Luca safe," Kim said as she stood up and they all stared at the bundle in her arms. "We have a lot to catch up on."
