This was inspired by ATLA, specifically the Season 2 Finale. The story follows the Gaang in alternate storyline where Zuko finds the right path sooner. At "The Cross Roads of Destiny" Zuko decides to join Team Avatar after connecting with Katara over the loss of their mothers. Katara sees that Zuko has just been lost up until this point and uses the spirit water on his scar.

An alternate scene of what goes down between Zuko and Katara when he first joins the GAang in Book 3. After she confronts him alone and threatens him if he betrays them again, Zuko has a different response for her. This results in a very heated exchange as the sparks and unresolved tension and chemistry between them explodes into something hot and heavy.

There's bad timing and then there's your heat happening on an important mission. This was the bind Ty Lee found herself in. Luckily she has her friends to watch her back. If only her heat wasn't messing with Azula's head. That would be great.
