On Today's Episode: The spies head off to Sector C to rescue their indisposed comrades, but soon enough, Lady Dragon's nefarious lair reveals itself, so everyone heads there to scuttle the mad game maker's latest scheme. But what awaits them inside this technological funhouse of madness, and can they stop Lady Dragon's viruses before they set off an even bigger chain reaction across the world?
Act 2: Security Check
5:37 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Datascape
Sector C
"...okay, I'm guessing that Sector C isn't supposed to look like this?" Dawn deduced once everyone had made it to Sector C, which resembled a strange-looking highway in the middle of, quite literally, a storm cloud.
"That's the understatement of the century," RiCO cringed.
"Are Britney and Nozomi anywhere close by?" Mat wondered.
"Let's hope they are," Melissa stated.
"Huh, that's odd," iCO told the others. "It looks like both of their signals are in separate spots."
"No doubt that's part of their M.O.," Haruka groaned.
"Damn it all, they're getting smarter!" Bridget chastised.
"Should we split up and deal with this quicker?" Clover suggested.
"Sounds like a plan to me," Nick answered, liking the sound of that.
"Regardless, we better stay alert," Sam stated. "No doubt this place is full of booby traps..."
"I'll go with one group, and iCO will go with the other group," RiCO quipped. "That way, we can still get rid of any viruses that might be hiding them from us."
"Then let's go bust some viruses!" Alex exclaimed. "We've still got a summer to enjoy!"
"My sentiments exactly!" Clover proclaimed.
The team them split into two groups, RiCO leading Sam, Mat, Clover, Blaine, Melissa and Dawn, with iCO leading Alex, Nick, Haruka, Bridget and May.
To the southwest, RiCO's team had to contend with intermittent flashes of lightning blitzing down and shocking areas of the ground, not giving them much room to maneuver.
"Okay, that's very not nice," Blaine groaned.
"Is there a virus creating those lightning storms?" Sam wondered.
"Looks like it, but according to my scans, that virus is also keeping Britney captive," RiCO answered after checking her data screens. "So, these storms won't go away until we free Britney."
"Let's try this, then," Mat proclaimed, bringing out an All Weather Umbrella and motioning for everyone to get close to him do he could deploy it. RiCO shielded herself with a data barrier as she moved closer to the eye of the storm, where Britney was being kept inside a large viral sphere.
"Whoa!" Clover gasped as a lightning bolt actually struck the All Weather Umbrella, though the shield thankfully held. "That was way too close."
"Any luck on getting rid of that virus, RiCO?" Dawn asked.
"Just gotta get through this firewall..." RiCO responded, waving her hand to conjure another data barrier to protect her from more lightning strikes while she continued her debugging efforts.
Eventually, RiCO found the source of the virus, an innocuous-looking cumulus cloud just above them, and sent an anti-virus beam straight into it, deleting the virus and causing the storms around them to cease.
Once the clouds were calm again, the sphere holding Britney shattered and allowed her to land back on her feet.
"You doing okay, Brit?" Mat asked.
"A little weirded out by the fact that we're inside a storm cloud, but otherwise fine," Britney replied as she hugged Mat. "Thanks for getting my butt out of there."
"How about we head out of here and wait for the others to get back?" Melissa wondered.
"Sounds like a plan to me," Clover quipped.
Meanwhile, to the southeast, iCO's team had encountered quite the opposite effect, with a gigantic desert and a blindingly bright sun to top it all off.
"I think we need to move before this heat drains our batteries," Alex stated. "I'd rather not relive that mission again."
"Yeah, whoever came up with the concept of jet lag needs to be taken out back and slapped about a dozen times for having the nerve," Haruka teased.
"Any sign of that virus that took Nozomi?" Nick wondered.
iCO continued to scan around the area to find that particular virus, hoping it would also lead them to where Nozomi was being kept. She eventually pinpointed the location as the large sun that bore down on them all.
"Hold on just a chicken-fried minute, she's in the sun?" May gasped. "Then again, this is a world of computers, so I shouldn't expect everything to make sense."
All of a sudden, the sun in question sprouted an angry face and wiggled a bit before actually flying towards them.
"That's not supposed to happen, right?!" Alex shouted as the spies all jumped in different directions to avoid getting hit by the angry sun.
"That's another thing Lady Dragon shamelessly yoinked from Super Mario Bros. 3," Nick groaned. "What is her obsession with that game?!"
"Well, let's see if mister sun wants me to ruin his day," Bridget quipped. "Sonic Mode, online!"
Once Bridget had transformed, she dashed off to lead the angry sun away from the group and give iCO more time to delete the virus controlling it.
Eventually, iCO managed to do so, and the angry sun stopped and looked shocked before it shattered completely into glowing shards of light, leaving Nozomi hanging in the air so Bridget could jump off of a nearby sand dune and catch her.
"Nice jump," Nozomi laughed.
"I'm getting better at that," Bridget chuckled as they returned to the rest of the group.
"This is RiCO to team B, do you read me?" RiCO's voice resounded from Nick's X-Powder. "We found Britney and took care of a virus over here. How's everything going on your end?"
"Just peachy, RiCO," Nick quipped. "Nozomi was being held inside the Super Mario Bros. 3 angry sun, for some odd reason."
"Maybe she just likes that game a little too much," Mat chuckled.
"How about we meet up back where we split off so we can fix up this sector?" RiCO stated.
"I'm down for that," Nozomi answered.
With that, both groups retraced their steps back to the entrance to Sector C, and once the team was fully reunited, iCO typed in the re-initialization command to revert a storm center beacon in the area back to the sector's signal tower, which quickly unleashed a blast of light that returned Sector C to its normal appearance.
"That was... fun, let's put it that way," Britney quipped.
"Okay, where to next?" Haruka wondered.
RiCO quickly looked back at her data screens when she noticed a large concentration of viral activity at one specific point on her map of the Datascape.
"It looks like there's a big conglomeration of viruses at one specific point in Sector B," RiCO answered. "And I'm pretty sure that's where Lady Dragon holed herself up."
"Well, then, what are we waiting for?" May proclaimed. "Let's head there so we can kick this maker of trash games a couple dozen times!"
"That was definitely the plan," iCO chuckled as everyone made a short jog back to the teleporter so they could transport to Sector B.
6:18 P.M. – W.O.O.H.P. Datascape
Sector B – Lady Dragon's Secret Lair
"Do I even need to say anything about how wrong this all looks?" Melissa admitted once everyone had made it to Sector B and charged right into the tunnel leading to Lady Dragon's lair, which resembled ancient ruins full of pathways lined by a mysterious purple goop. Some of those paths even seemed to lead somewhere in this place.
"Far be it from me to claim to understand how our rogues' gallery thinks sometimes," Nick teased.
"Let's keep moving and stay close, okay?" Sam answered. "I have no idea what kind of crazy contraptions Lady Dragon's got waiting for us."
"Duly noted," Haruka quipped as RiCO and iCO led the spies through the lair.
"Makes you wonder how Lady Dragon completed all of this in a short period of time..." Mat commented.
"The unfortunate part of virtual reality is that anything's possible... including this," RiCO admitted.
"No doubt about that," Nick groaned.
The spy team could see that purple goop lining the ceiling like it were super glue.
"Okay, this is either dilapidated or just really sloppily built," Blaine remarked.
"Either way, our urgency to repair the Datascape is high," Nozomi added.
After moving through the ancient ruins, they came across a room with multiple sarcophaguses, six to be exact. To add to the fold, the entrance behind them sealed shut.
"Great..." Nick groaned. "Now what?"
"I bet Lady Dragon hasn't forgotten one of the past Datascape capers like we have..." Melissa chastised.
"Meaning we have to pick the right sarcophagus to advance..." Nick chastised.
"Mario Party vibes again?" Haruka asked.
"I'm not sure, but I feel like this is the Dry-Dry Ruins from Paper Mario in a way," Mat commented.
"Oh, yeah," Melissa quipped. "When the Pokeys came out of the coffins!"
Instead of the creatures from Mario coming out, it was three mummies that were armed and ready for battle.
"I didn't see that coming," Alex remarked.
"Good call, bro," Nick stated. "I thought we were going to have to guess the right one to move forward..."
"Back, you bandage freaks!" May exclaimed as she went to work with her anchor, bashing the mummies aside with multiple anchor swings.
Bridget quickly transformed into Sonic Mode and started running around the room to build up kinetic energy while Nick raised his hands to telekinetically dislodge a large brick from the wall above them and drop it right down onto the mummy, crushing it underneath the brick.
After a bit, Bridget dashed to the center of the room and snapped her fingers to unleash her gathered kinetic energy as a large shockwave that disabled the two remaining mummies, allowing Britney to cut them both down with a Platinum Credit Card. The remaining mummies exploded into glowing polygons soon after.
"Wow, that was harder than I anticipated," Haruka remarked after the mummies were all defeated.
"Totally," Clover sighed. "But we don't get any idea on where to go now..."
"I think it did, actually," iCO deduced. "I noticed something particular about the mummies."
"I did, too," RiCO noted. "I saw some arrows pointed upwards."
The spies looked upward and saw something shining between some of the purple goop on the ceiling.
"Oh, I see it," Sam quipped after equipping some Cyberjacker Sunglasses. "It looks like some kind of switch."
"Great eyes, Sammy," Clover remarked.
Alex tried to get the switch with the Expandable Mascara Brush to try and activate it.
"I got it!" Alex exclaimed when she was able to flip that switch.
"Did that do anything?" Britney wondered.
The immediate area began to rumble, initially worrying the spies that something had gone wrong, but their fears were quickly assuaged when the rumbling turned out to be the wall just ahead of them moving aside to reveal the path onward.
"Looks like it did," Dawn quipped.
"Let's get moving, then," Sam proclaimed.
With the way ahead open, the spies headed down the path, occasionally stopping to examine strange hieroglyphs on the wall to see if they would need that knowledge for any obstacles ahead.
"Man, this place is nuts," Nozomi admitted. "Lady Dragon might be a hack of a game programmer, but she's at least got an eye for level design, if you know what I mean."
"Really makes you wonder what could have been if she'd decided to stay a game designer instead of turning to villainy," Nick chuckled, knowing from experience that there probably was another dimension somewhere out there in the multiverse where that was true.
"I guess all we can do for now is find Lady Dragon and stop her before this gets out of hand," Mat stated matter-of-factly.
As the spies rounded a corner, they saw a very out-of-place computer standing near the entrance to another large room.
"Talk about clashing," Clover teased.
"Let me try and hack my way into it," RiCO answered. "It might have some info about Lady Dragon's big scheme."
RiCO walked over to the computer and started typing on the keyboard, and though the computer's firewalls attempted to keep her from hacking in, those firewalls were naturally no match for RiCO and she quickly had the computer dancing to her tune.
After about thirty seconds, the main screen displayed a diagram of a large virus, only visible in silhouette, but resembling some kind of dragonfly monster.
"I've got a feeling that thing's her trump card," Mat quipped.
"Okay, of all things she could turn her viruses into, why a dragonfly?" Melissa wondered.
"Oh, lord, if this is what I think it is, then I'm gonna have to smack her one when we get to that point," May groaned when she recognized what the virus most likely resembled.
With that in the back of their minds for now, the spies moved on through the ruins, eventually coming across a mostly completely dark room.
"Oh, great, who turned out the dang lights?!" Alex exclaimed.
Nick raised his hand and surrounded it with psychic energy, creating a beacon of light that let the spies see more of their surroundings.
Searching around the dark room eventually revealed a strange-looking capsule at the center.
"Do we open the capsule, or is it a trap?" Haruka asked.
"I think we have to open it, if this is what I think it is," Nick quipped. Deciding to just get it over with, Nick walked over and touched the large and round yellow on top of the capsule, and this caused the capsule to burst open and release a crowd of cartoon-y ghosts from it. "Yup, I knew that's what this was, damn it all."
"You know this one, Nick?" Mat wondered.
"This is from Sonic and Knuckles," Nick explained. "Act 2 of Sandopolis has this really annoying gimmick where a bunch of ghosts are freed at the start of the level, and unless you keep the lights on, they'll start attacking you."
"Which means we probably need to find our way out of this poorly-lit mess before the ghosts start coming after us," Sam stated.
"It looks like there's a virus somewhere in here that's generating the ghosts," RiCO answered after scanning the area. "So we're going to have to get rid of that before we can move on, or the ghosts will just keep coming."
"But which way do we go?" Blaine quipped. "There's gotta be some indication of the right direction!"
"If this is anything like the game was, try looking for those little pulley handles on the ceiling," Nick replied. "Those would turn the lights back on and make the ghosts go away for a bit."
With that in mind, the spies began to search the area, Nick using his psychic beacon to light up their immediate area and help them, eventually pulling on a pulley to flood the room with light for a few moments and get the ghosts off of their back.
They occasionally had to solve some hieroglyph puzzles in order to open doorways that were blocking their path, and Nick swung his beacon at an approaching ghost to get it to back off.
Eventually, the spies all made it to a square-shaped room where a strange, glitched-out pyramid could be seen spinning around.
"Is that our culprit?" Bridget asked.
"Looks like it," RiCO quipped.
"Then allow us to work your magic," Nick responded as he fired a Final Shine Attack into the spinning pyramid block, causing it to slow to a complete stop before revealing its viral core. This allowed both RiCO and iCO to hit it with a blast of anti-virus, destroying the pyramid and causing the ghosts and darkness to dissolve completely, leaving just the ruins they had been exploring before.
"Glad that's over," Melissa sighed. "I really hated act 2 of Sandopolis."
"Believe me, it's worse as Knuckles," Nick chuckled.
"Let's see here," RiCO hummed as she checked her data screens. "All right, then, it looks like the correct path is..."
RiCO was cut off when the sound of a ringing phone started up way in the distance to the northeast.
"...huh, guess she did our job for us," RiCO quipped.
"I think we'd better find that phone and solve this problem real quickly," Clover stated.
"Sounds like an idea to me," Britney responded. "Let's move."
"How's Lady Dragon making these crazy calls on us, anyhow?" Dawn wondered.
"I guess we'll find out when we find her control room," Sam deduced.
"We also should be alert if this is some kind of trap," Haruka pointed out.
"Good point," Britney quipped.
"I could also offer some tips if you still had trouble getting through Sandopolis act 2 one day," Mat offered Melissa.
"Oh, actually, I figured it out on my own," Melissa replied.
"Okay ,then," Mat stated. "But I never figured out how to get by on Knuckles myself."
"Did you know to push that block and have it keep the switch pressed near the end?" Nick noted.
Silence from both Mat and Melissa for a few seconds until Melissa facepalmed.
"...oh, my god, I had no idea you could even do that!" Melissa gasped.
"That is what the block was there for," Nick chuckled. "I think what you're actually supposed to do during that is climb up the door to find that switch. Also, try not to be Super Knuckles during that, because his wall earthquake glide thing tends to break the sand dispensers when they shouldn't be broken, and that can really fudge you up. Trust me, I learned that one the hard way..."
"I guess that explains things," Haruka commented.
"I just kept going with Sonic because it was easier," Mat admitted.
"To be fair, Knuckles is supposed to be the 'hard mode' of that game," May answered.
The spies moved forward with RiCO determining which direction to go.
"Something tells me Lady Dragon is making this a little too easy," Alex commented.
"She could be," Bridget remarked. "But we're just as ready to take her on..."
Before long, the ghosts were starting to return, and they got bigger as the room began to dim.
"Uh-oh... we better hurry," Clover chastised.
"You just said the magic word, Clover," Bridget quipped, and that's when everybody gathered around Bridget without a prompting. "Sonic Mode, online!"
Before long, Bridget zoomed every which way, and the spies found switches faster than you could say "power failure."
"Good thing Nick and I know how to get through this level ourselves," Mat remarked during the speed dash.
"Same," Bridget added.
Through all the throwbacks, Nick and Mat had some outside thoughts of what could be next.
Before long, the spies could hear that same phone ringing from who-knew-where.
"I bet Lady Dragon's thinking of a new way to toy with us again," RiCO groaned.
iCO worked her magic to answer that phone for everyone to talk to Lady Dragon.
"All right, you little cluck, start talking," RiCO proclaimed. "What's your big aim trying to send us through this nightmare of a pyramid?"
"Oh, all in due time," Lady Dragon laughed from wherever she was. "And trust me, I'm cooking something up that you'll definitely enjoy."
"Why not just fight us right here and now?" RiCO retorted. "You know, save us the trouble?"
"Well, I have to keep some suspense, don't I?" Lady Dragon chuckled. "Try not to keep me waiting too long, all right?"
And with that, Lady Dragon decided to hang up.
"Hey, you stole my idea, you dingbat," RiCO groaned once the call had ended.
"That douche didn't even tell us where to go next!" Dawn chastised.
"Actually, I'm picking up her signal if we go through one more tunnel," RiCO told them.
"That's a relief," Mat sighed.
"Let's get moving, then," Sam responded. "We don't have a second to lose!"
With RiCO and iCO once again leading the way, the spies headed down the last tunnel in their path, running through the hallways until they came across a door that seemingly led them outside into a vast desert.
"...wait just a second, are we actually outside?" Haruka wondered.
"Nope, we're still in the lair," iCO answered after checking her readouts. "She's just using viruses to change the appearance of the area."
"Wait, hold on, is this the Sands of Yold from Super Paper Mario?" Nick gasped when he recognized their current location. "Now I'm really starting to question if Lady Dragon ever truly left the game business behind..."
"Hey, when you have something that works, you use it," Lady Dragon's voice proclaimed from somewhere nearby. "And believe me, my experience in the games industry does come in handy sometimes."
"All right, so how the heck do we get through this?" Melissa quipped.
"If I remember correctly, we've gotta find a large red palm tree and jump underneath it ten times," Nick responded. "That should open the way forward."
"Now we just have to find that red palm tree," Bridget stated.
"Hold on, we've got viruses incoming!" RiCO exclaimed as a bunch of static blobs suddenly surrounded the spies. A bunch of those blobs quickly reshaped themselves into different bladed weapons for other humanoid viruses to wield.
"All right, that's just rude," Clover quipped as she brought out a Platinum Credit Card and started slashing at the viruses to keep them away.
One of the blobs expanded very quickly and attempted to entrap Alex, but Nick was naturally having none of that and blasted the blob back with a Final Shine Attack.
While this was happening, Bridget bent back and got into a running position. Nick quickly joined her, having gotten the message.
"Sonic Mode, online!" Bridget proclaimed as she transformed into Sonic Mode before reaching out to take Nick's hand. "You ready for this?"
"Oh, you know it," Nick chuckled as he prepared himself.
When Bridget waved the fingers on her free hand, she and Nick bum-rushed forward, beginning to run circles around the viruses with a trail of green electricity forming behind them.
One of the viruses tried to attack, but Bridget ran forward to clock it with a Metal Masher Boxing Glove. Nick equipped a Metal Masher Boxing Glove of his own and punched another virus with it.
Nick and Bridget continued their relay of punching the viruses one by one until Nick swiftly uppercutted one in the chin, sending it flying into the air.
Bridget ran up the nearby palm tree and jumped off of it before punching the virus again, her momentum taking her to another nearby tree so she could jump back off of that and hit the virus again, repeating this attack a few more times.
For the final blow, Bridget uppercutted the virus further into the air before running up the nearby cliff face and jumping off it, Nick flying into the air to meet her.
With a loud battle cry, Nick and Bridget both slammed their Metal Masher Boxing Gloves into the virus, sending it crashing back into the ground where Bridget's gathered kinetic energy exploded outward upon impact to decimate the other viruses as well and expose their viral cores, allowing RiCO and iCO to swiftly delete them all.
"Nicely handled, you two!" RiCO laughed. "It's nice to actually see that move in action for the first time."
"We usually save it for when we're fighting robots or viruses like this, since they're usually much more resilient," Bridget quipped.
With that out of the way, the group headed southwest until they eventually found the red palm tree, where Nick decided to do the ten jumps necessary to unlock the path onward, which manifested as a red door that took them all into a large stone arena where Lady Dragon was waiting for them.
"I should have figured you'd make it here," Lady Dragon laughed. "I'm pretty sure you know damn well what's about to happen, so without further ado, let the show begin!"
("Shadow Loop" by Lyn Inaizumi plays)
Lady Dragon snapped her fingers, and this caused a trio of virus blobs to surround her, transforming into armor for her to wear and two weapons in each of her hands, a large sword and a mace with a spiked ball.
"This is where you fall," Lady Dragon proclaimed.
"Oh, we'll see about that!" Clover shouted as she fired a Cyclone Blast Hairdryer to push Lady Dragon back, though her armor absorbed most of the impact.
"Like I'd be scared of a little wind," Lady Dragon cackled.
"Then how about you be scared of this?!" Nick retorted, blasting Lady Dragon back with a Final Shine Attack, though she quickly recovered and swung her mace. Much to the spies' surprise, the spiked ball suddenly grew five times its size before smashing into the ground, Mat and Britney just barely able to dodge the strike.
Alex slipped behind Lady Dragon to blast her in the back with an Electromagnetic Curling Iron, and this broke her armor off, allowing RiCO to delete that virus swiftly before it could pull itself back together.
Before Lady Dragon could reach for another virus to reformat, Sam and Mat ran forward to clothesline her and send her stumbling backwards.
"Oh, I'm not done yet," Lady Dragon laughed as she twirled her sword around and swung it horizontally, sending out a large green blade of energy to attack the spies and force them to scatter. Lady Dragon continued to swing her sword and send energy blades towards the spies to keep them on their toes. "Yes, that's right, flee, cowards!"
"Um, excuse me?"
Lady Dragon only had time to curse her carelessness as May swung her anchor to destroy the sword, then swung the anchor again to clock Lady Dragon in the chest and send her careening into a nearby tree.
"Okay, now you're just pissing me off," Lady Dragon growled as she swung her mace to impale Britney, only for Mat to grab her by the hand and pull her out of the line of fire, which left the mace to embed itself into the wall of the nearby cliff.
"Opportunity!" Bridget chuckled as she sped towards Nick, her intent obvious. "You catch my drift, Nick?"
"Come on, you know who you're talking to," Nick quipped as Bridget sped by him so they could join hands and charge towards Lady Dragon. "Let's show this crazy game maker the newest iteration of our Purple Comet Attack!"
Lady Dragon only had time to see them get close as Bridget blitzed forward and performed a sliding kick to send Lady Dragon flipping into the air. Nick let go of Bridget and flew up to tackle Lady Dragon higher into the air.
Bridget skidded to a stop before jumping towards Lady Dragon and landing a trio of lightning-fast hits before kicking Lady Dragon towards Nick, who continued the combo by stomping on Lady Dragon's foot before uppercutting her back into the air.
Nick and Bridget both charged in mid-air from either side to clock Lady Dragon from both sides, immediately dazing her so they could send her crashing back to the ground with a dual overhead fist slam.
Before Lady Dragon could even bounce, Nick and Bridget flew back to the ground so that Nick could use a short-range Zero Gravity and send Lady Dragon floating helplessly, while Bridget ran a few quick circles around Lady Dragon before leaping to headbutt her further aloft.
Nick and Bridget struck again, rapidly striking from multiple angles and making it look like Lady Dragon was being pinballed through the air.
"And here comes the big finish!" Bridget exclaimed as she grabbed Nick by the hands and lifted them into the air before spinning Nick around faster and faster. After a few more spins, Bridget tossed Nick towards Lady Dragon so he could finish the attack with a double-footed kick to the stomach that sent Lady Dragon crashing right back into the ground, skidding to a stop before tumbling backwards.
"And that's officially how that cookie crumbles," Bridget giggled as she and Nick landed back on the ground to share a high-five.
"All right, Lady Flop, we've got you cornered," Alex proclaimed as the spies all advanced to finally capture Lady Dragon. "You got any last words before we boot you out of cyberspace again?"
"Yeah, I have some choice words for you punks," Lady Dragon groaned.
But as Nick moved to bubble her up, Lady Dragon suddenly sneered.
"...you fell right into my trap."
Lady Dragon swiftly hit a button on her outfit, and the spies only had time to look up as a gigantic virus swooped over them and waved its wings to trap all of them in a gigantic cage of viral material.
RiCO and iCO glanced upwards to see that the virus in question was a massive creature with bumpy purple skin and greenish spikes all over its body, a reptilian head with a tooth-filled mouth, solid red orbs for eyes, visible pectoral and abdominal muscles on the underside of its body, a total of eight limbs consisting of two larger forelimbs with massive pincer-like claws and a pair of three smaller legs on the underside of its body, two large dragon-like wings, and a long tail tipped with a sharp stinger.
"What in the hell?!" RiCO gasped.
"Oh, lord, it's Megaguirus," May groaned. "Stop sending freakin' kaiju after us, you hack!"
"Hey, it worked, didn't it?" Lady Dragon laughed. "And now you're all my prisoners. Ooh, I should have thought of this a long time ago!"
With that, Lady Dragon jumped on the back of the Viral Megaguirus as it flew off to another area, leaving RiCO and iCO to ponder what their next step was.
"...I don't think Lady Dragon understands that she's repeating Skip Joystick's mistake," RiCO chuckled. "And she also probably doesn't know of your new trick."
"Shall we go and show her, then?" iCO quipped.
"Exactly what I was thinking," RiCO laughed as she and iCO headed off to follow the Viral Megaguirus and save the spies from it.
To be concluded...
Coming up next...
RiCO: Any sign of that thing, sis?
iCO: I'm picking up its viral readings just up ahead.
Lady Dragon: How fortuitous of you to make it this far.
RiCO: Stow it, Lady Tweak, we're not in the mood for your nonsense. Let our friends go, or else.
Lady Dragon: Or else what? Don't think this will be as easy as before, even with your silly little Armor Dive or whatever it is you call it.
RiCO: First off, you clearly must have fried a brain cell if you forgot the name of it already.
iCO: Second, we've taken care of much bigger threats than yet another kaiju.
RiCO: And finally, how about we show you just exactly what we can do?
Lady Dragon: I'd love to see you try!
iCO: All right, then, but know this...
RiCO and iCO: ...don't say we didn't warn you.
Melissa: This looks like it's gonna be one heck of a showdown, readers, so don't miss the fun, next time on the final act of Totally Spies: The Crazy Digital Call, "Connection Available"!
May: Like what it's saying on my laptop right now? Why does the wi-fi in this part of the set absolutely suck?!
