Chapter 24
Ursula's Fury
"Urchin, no what if its dangerous!" Flounder yells to me when i begin to follow Ursula and Ariel "Injuried or not! I have to do something Flounder! Its time to be brave and become the merman i am!" i shout towards him. Suddenly two familiar sneaky sounding voices came from behind us "The merboy's alive!", "Hmmmm i swear he and that puny little fish were goners!" it was no other then Flotsam and Jetsam.
"You two again!" i shout, "Thought we finished them off back in that deep canyon!" says Flotsam "Maybe this time we need a little electricity!" says Jetsom."Electricity? I'd like to see you try!" i yell at them "Urchin? What are you doing?" Flounder cries. Flounder and i begin to notice Flotsam and Jetsam beginning to charge themselves up with electricity, this was the first time ever i had seen them do this!. Maybe i should've kept my mouth shut!.
Suddenly we hear a voice in the distance, "FLOTSAM! JETSAM! CAME!" it sounded like Ursula, summoning her precious eels to come to her. The eels stop charging up electricity "You've got off lightly this time boy!" Jetsam says before swimming swiftly off, Jetsam follows "Just you wait until Ursula is Queen!" he says in his husky voice before heading towards Ursula's location. Flounder and i were just about to be fried to a fish stick!.
I was breathing heavily, so was Flounder "Phew! Man that was lucky! Flounder are you ok?" i say out loud "Urchin! Are you out of your mind! We were almost goners!" says Flounder. I apologised to him for almost putting us both in danger. He then says to me that even through he is impressed by my boost of confidence in the past few days he tells me not to get carried away next time "Roger that!" i answer to him.
We continue our search for Ursula and Ariel heading in the same direction that Flotsam and Jetsam headed into. "I hope Sebastian has got to King Triton in time!" says Flounder, "I hope so too and that we are not too late, come on!" i reply to him as we swim faster. Flounder was still shaking with nerves "Flounder come on!" i yell towards him "You know i cannot swim that fast! Both you and Ariel swim so quickly" Flounder says to me.
"I'm not even swimming my fastest Flounder! Not with this injury! Hang on to the end of my tail and i will carry you!" i yell towards him who agreed to the idea "Just don't hurt yourself even more Urchin!" Flounder says nervously. I begin swimming with Flounder on the end of my fins. I was trying to ignore the pain and i observed Flounder noticing that i was having difficulty swimming but he was too nervous to say anything.
We swam deep and the waters were getting darker but suddenly something lit up a few metres away. It almost looked like a mini whirlpool, i then warn Flounder in what i was about to do "Hang on Flounder, we are gonna pick up some speed!". I was concerned in what it might be and i had every right to be. We get closer and to our horror the brightly lit whirlpool was Ursula's magic and in it was King Triton being transformed into a polyp! "King Triton NO!" i cry. We were too late!.
We had finally found Ursula and Ariel along with Sebastian. Looks like Sebastian did find King Triton only for him to be caught up in the mess and to be transformed into a polyp by Ursula. "URCHIN!" Ariel cries out my name as she spots me "Daddy..." Ariel cries worriedly. Ursula then makes her move and grabs the King's lonely crown and trident before any of us could "At last, its mine!" she cries before placing the crown on her head and begins to charge up the trident chuckling away.
Ariel floated down to osberve her now transformed father. Understandably angry, she yells out "You, you monster!". Ursula pins her down in her tenticles and points the trident towards her. "YOU! Let her go!" i shout as i grab one of her arms to try and pull the trident away "Don't fool me you little brat and you too Merboy! Contract or no, i'll blast...Ow!".
We all look up to find we were in the presence of Prince Eric who had swam down to help save Ariel. He had thrown a dagger towards her with great aim. Ariel tries to head towards him but is held down by Ursula's tenticles "Eric! Eric look out!" she cries. Ursula soon send Flotsam and Jetsam after him. I assist in helping Ariel break free from Ursula's tenticles while she wasn't looking. "Urchin, your hurt!" Ariel whispers softly "Now's not the time, we need to get you out!" i whisper to her.
We look up and notice that Flotsam and Jetsam have caught Eric. Ursula turns and finally spots me with Ariel "You! When will you learn to not to interfear with other peoples business!" she yells before whacking me out of the way with one of her other tenticles. "URCHIN!" i hear Ariel, Sebastian and Flounder cry "I'll deal with you later!" i hear Ursula yell angriy. She was now furious but lucky for me i was still concious!.
She hadn't realised that i managed to slightly losen the tenticles that were imprisoning the princess. Sebastian and Flounder had both swam up to help get Eric out of the eels clutches. Sebastian pinches and Flounder tail flicks making the eels let go of the prince "Say goodbye to your sweetheart!"yells Ursula and begins to point the trident towards Eric.
Ariel and i having observing this both manage to pull Ursula's hair to make her aim for something else and to our delight the tridents power headed straight for Flotsam and Jetsam! Destroying them to pieces and bones!. Ariel and i high fived!. "BABIES! My poor little poopies!" Ursula crys in shock. Ariel and i managed to escape while she has a little hearty moment collecting the remains of her beloved but sneaky eels.
We swim towards Eric to make sure he gets back to the surface ok. Sebastian and Flounder go to hide. Ariel and i catch up to Eric and push up towards the surface so he can breathe. All three of us push our heads out of the ocean to notice that a storm was beginning to brew. Eric spots me and Ariel. Before i could even say hi, Ariel tells him to get away from the area but he refuses to leave her. I agreed with her as Eric hold her Ariel in his arms "Ariel's right Eric, you need to get away!".
"Who are you?" he asks but before either myself or Ariel could tell him who i was, a large golden pointy thing was coming out of the water pushing us all out of the water upwards. It was the Sea Witch!. "Its Ursula! She's now gigantic!" i yell as we heard her laugh evily, "JUMP" cries Ariel as the three of us dive from Ursula's now gigantic crown. Since obtaining King Triton's trident, she was able to grow into a giant cecaellian!. This was bad, very bad!.
We make it back into the ocean but all was not well when i soon find that i was being thrown out of the water by Ursula's large tenticle slap, seperating me from Eric and Ariel. I was screaming for my life wondering where i was gonna land or if i was too survive!. Ursula is now stoppable!. The power of the seventh years was now in her hands.
