Quirks are grouped into categories, either being seen as useful and useless, heroic and villainous. To have one in either category can affect you in more ways then you imagine. But no-one ever talks about how a quirk alters your sense of mind. Izuku is one of these people, and to him, fire and burning are nothing to worry about which the world doesn't accept, so he'll make it.

Class 1A gets two weeks to train themselves for the sports festival, and Izuku will do anything he can to not disappoint his mentor's expectations. Especially now that his time is running out.
