Summary:

Part one of DP crossovers (focuses on Pitch Pearl)

Previously, Danny Fenton was an average fourteen-year-old boy who developed ghost powers thanks to his parent's invention, the Ghost Portal.

He made everything work out, but eventually, he needed to separate himself for the better.

Now, two years have passed since the event of Phantom Planet, and Danny is trying to survive school while dealing with many issues.

Mainly in this story, his alternative self wants him as his bride.

Even though he didn't know why, Danny just had to face it up front, with conditions and all.

Just...

Why is everyone now noticing?

Chapter Begins:

At the ripe age of an adult, Danny Fenton was what others considered average.

He was the classical loner who used to have two friends before the group separated, but, hey, it was alright.

He joined clubs, participated in sports, tried doing better in his classes, etc.

He's lonely, but he's fine with it.

At least, that's what everyone's saying.

Danny actually feels completely alone, but he tries to put in a facade that no one, not even his family, can detect.

He had perfected the mask since his separation from Phantom before the whole "the-end-of-the-world" by that blasted comet.

It was hard at first, but then no one really noticed Danny over time.

Other than some occasions like asking, "How are you's?", Danny felt really isolated.

But hey, darkness is sometimes the most comforting thing in the world.

Thanks to this, Danny built a reputation as the quietest, most academic student at Casper High School.

Just like Jazz, the previous student in that same school.

But Danny's not like her.

Sure, he could get the best grades if he put his mind to it, but Danny hated being compared to her.

Sometimes, he kind of resents her for being someone confident by the Fenton name. (Which makes him feel guilty later on)

However, Dash left him alone after helping him with his homework.

Lancer gave them detention one day, and Danny saw how much Dash struggled with some homework.

Overall, they made a truce that Danny would secretly teach Dash while Dash would no longer bully him.

The other A-Listers did notice, but they didn't bother Danny since Dash's grades had improved after meeting Danny the first time.

Dash actually understood each subject's concept, and over time, things resolved into, what you call, a "friendly" truce.

Soon, they all regularly hung out with him, but only on Danny's terms.

Having companions who didn't ignore Danny's hobbies or nerdy talk about space was lovely.

Though, as for his "friends," that part of the group splitting up was true.

Due to an argument they had, they ended their friendship.

Of course, Danny was left alone while Sam and Tucker hung out with Phantom. Sadly for him, Phantom believed in them more than his human self, so the relationship was nonexistent.

Still, Danny ignored them whenever he saw them, and while it did hurt, he soon got used to the numbness.

Vlad, on the other hand, is still the creepy fruitloop that ever existed.

He finds out that Phantom and Danny have separated, and while he tries to take Phantom under his wing, he considers Danny his son.

Overall, creepy.

Now, in his room, he has been building something as a hobby ever since he actually decided to do it one day. He got his parents' genes, so whatever's on his mind, he builds.

Of course, not ghost-related stuff, or he'll never hear the end of it.

Honestly, his parents did get better, but Danny still didn't like the business they ran.

Everyone now knows what kind of business they have, which annoyed Danny as people tried to buy his parents' inventions or other junk.

He always tells them to leave him alone; while some do, others won't.

He gets random calls, but he simply blocks them.

When Danny hears his parents entering the house after another conference they attend, he locks his door. Then, he soundproofs his room and sits down again, working on his invention.

Normally, he would leave it unlocked, but because he knew his parents drank and... Let's just say it was a traumatizing event when they celebrated.

Shivering, Danny suddenly noticed that the room felt cold. Too cold.

Then, as he had it multiple times in his life, a ghost portal opened, and a fallen human(?) landed on his bed, crushing it.

'Damn it,' Danny thought before seeing the portal closed.

Grabbing his gun from his drawer, Danny slowly walked over to the human-like ghost, not wanting any funny business going on.

'Not that it would be the first time...'

The human-like ghost slowly got up, his eyes closed, but he stopped moving based on what Danny saw.

He stares in shock as the human-like ghost rises before they finally open their eyes.

They looked exactly like him, not Phantom.

For some reason, this prompted Danny to shoot the trespasser, causing them to turn invisible.

"What the fuck?!" They shouted, staring daggers at Danny.

"Just had to make sure," Danny replied.

They paused for a bit but sighed.

"You know what; I totally agree."

A moment of quiet presented itself, and both had nothing to say other than awkward silence.

However, it was interrupted when the human-like ghost winced.

Touching his stomach, Danny could see red blood, not green, on their hand.

"I'll get the kit," He mumbled but was shouted to stay still.

Danny ignores them and retrieves the medical kit from his drawer. Having a medical kit in his room is one of the only times he can practice stitches and healing.

"Look, I need to see where it's bleeding. It's just medical stuff I have here. And before you ask, no, I don't want to dissect you. It's gross," He expressionlessly says.

The other figure tensed before sitting on the chair, shirt removed.

Danny rolled up his sleeves and placed gloves before grabbing the equipment.

"OK, it's not that bad," He mumbles, disinfecting the wounds.

Other than some hisses and yells, the human-like ghost stayed silent, something that Danny liked.

It only took fifteen minutes before Danny finished the stitches and looked at his other self.

"Done," He says, disposing of the pieces of cotton covered in blood in his trash.

"Won't people ask about it?" Other he asked, and Danny shrugged.

"Not really. I have no friends here."

"Oh..."

Again, awkward silence followed, and Danny gave the poor guy some new clothes.

"Here, they should fit since we're kinda the same," He said, tossing the clothes.

He turned his back, not wanting to see or let the other guy tense.

It felt like hours, but in reality, it was minutes.

Danny didn't know whether to laugh or cry, triggering his eye twitching. He had a habit of doing that if something stupid happened, and trust me, it had happened more than once.

As he was about to speak, Danny felt a sharp pain in his back, causing him to fall over.

The pain - It felt like the time he became a half-ghost.

'And I stupidly silenced my room...'He thought, biting his mouth. He didn't want to give the bastard a satisfied look while he groaned in pain.

"Sorry about that. It's torture, but it shows my gratitude," Other him explains before Danny passes out, not knowing if he'll die again.

'Wouldn't be the first time...'
