The War has gone on for ten years. Naruto has watched slowly as each of his friends dies, turning him from a happy-go-lucky teenage boy to a colder shell of his former self. Naruto finally found hope, but it was quickly dashed with Sasuke, the only other living shinobi, getting hit by a bone spike, quickly getting turned to dust but giving Naruto his eyes and the yin chakra.

"Wow," Naruto muttered, his voice a strange mix of amusement and resignation. "So this is how it ends, huh? The strongest and last ninja alive, Naruto Namikaze Uzumaki, falls. Heh… after gaining the eyes of an Uchiha and the power of all the Bijuu, I'm still taken out by a damn rabbit." He coughed, tasting blood, but grinned through the pain. "If I'm going out, I might as well take her with me."

Kaguya loomed above him, her presence suffocating, her gaze cold and unyielding. She raised her arm, forming another sharp, glowing bone spike. It shot forward faster than Naruto could dodge, piercing through his arm. He grimaced as the limb began disintegrating, crumbling away into dust.

There is no time to hesitate. Naruto surged forward, ignoring the agony. Kaguya responded with another barrage of bone spikes, each one lethal. He weaved through the storm, his reflexes sharpened by desperation. As one spike grazed his cheek, he flipped forward, landing a powerful kick to her chest that sent her sprawling.

Naruto uses chakra to make chakra chains where his arm was, molds his chakra to form an arm, and makes his chakra sword, which he puts on his back. He charges at her, and they release fury attacks on each other. In a quick move, Naruto grabs his sword and absorbs the truth-seeking orbs into the blade. He slashes at her horn, cutting it off, and punches with full force. The punch lands but destroys his arm while more of his body disintegrates, and she goes flying into many buildings and trees. Naruto winces and drops his sword in pain but fixes his mask and smiles, knowing that his mask confuses her and distracts him from the pain.

Before she could react," Amaterasu." Naruto sends black flames at her. She slowly absorbs them, not knowing Naruto teleported in front of her. He punches her down, seeing her starting to fly up. Her body impacts with the ground, letting out a crater. Naruto formed a new chakra arm and started releasing and shooting his red and black chakra chains from his back; they went through her arms into the ground, using them to propel himself towards her and lock her position still. Naruto pounced, grabbing her by the shoulder and sinking his k9 sharp teeth into her flesh. His chakra flared wildly, locking onto hers, and he began to pull, drawing her immense energy into himself.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Kaguya screeched, thrashing in his grip. Her voice trembled with both anger and panic. "YOU'RE STEALING MY CHAKRA, YOU STUPID HUMAN "

Naruto's eyes burned with fierce determination as he reached beyond her chakra and into her soul. "If I'm cursed to be reborn again and again for as long as evil exists, or whatever curse the gods place on me as their child of prophecy," he growled, "then I'll make sure to come back stronger every time. I won't stop; I'll take your soul and power. To use it to crush that cycle for good to be free from the shackles of you gods ."

Kaguya's struggles became frantic as Naruto's presence invaded her core. "W-wait! Stop! Please, not that anything but that I'm a goddess and supposed to be immortal. The gods will punish you if you disrupt the natural order! Absorbing me won't do anything for you, and this won't save you! Let go of my soul!" she begged, her tone once full of pride and cockyness now full of fear. Then she realized what he was doing with her soul and became frantic. "Why are you absorbing it?! I will stop; please let me go! Don't take my soul with you! You and I are the ones the gods made to suffer… So leave me alone! Please stop. I just wanna live and have a perfect world. Curse you, Hagoromo and Hamura. All I wanted was peace. Please reconsider. You will doom us both!"

But Naruto didn't falter. "Did you care when you killed my best friend? Or what about when you killed Obito? Did you care, then? What about when you ripped my sensei's arms off and teleported him to his father's grave? No, I don't think you do. I also think you don't care that I didn't have parents due to your son. My village hated me because of your son's plans to bring you back. To do what destroy and kill everyone and call it peace? I don't care that you're a goddess; if I need to, I'll walk up to heaven or wherever you gods stay and give them your severed head. I will finish what you started and deal with the consequences later. The universe and the world are safer without you here to plague them."

Naruto opened his eyes, one revealing the Sharingan and the other displaying the Rinnegan. However, the Rinnegan began to change; its color shifted to red, and its shape transformed into an eye resembling Kaguya's third eye. At the same time, his Sharingan was also altering; he activated his Mangekyō, which morphed into a blend of the eyes belonging to Madara, Obito, Itachi, Shisui, and Sasuke. Ultimately, it formed a unique combination, prominently featuring the kanji for death in the center while the whites of his eyes turned black.

"Speaking of Black Zetsu..." Naruto exclaimed as he summoned one of his truth-seeking orbs, its shimmering form glinting with power. The orb surged forward, enveloping the slick, viscous being of Black Zetsu and drawing it toward him with an unyielding force. In a desperate attempt to protect his mother, Black Zetsu lunged to attach itself to Naruto, but before it could succeed, it was absorbed into the orb, its cries muffled and fading into the void.

Naruto closed his eyes, his focus deepening as he reached into the depths of her soul. There, he sensed the faint, flickering essences of the tailed beasts, their powerful chakras intertwined with hers in a complex dance of energy. They were trapped — their spirits bound to her very being, and he felt their lingering presence, a mix of strength and sorrow. For a moment, doubt washed over him, gnawing at his resolve. What if this choice led to their demise as well?

Suddenly, Kurama's voice echoed within his mind, steady and unyielding. "Naruto, listen to me. The others have urged me to convey their message: keep going. They honor your decision. We've already made a pact to grant you the majority of our power. While our souls undergo their transformation, we will ensure that this is not the end, that you can wield our strength for the greater good." The reassurance filled Naruto with a sense of purpose, igniting a fire within him as he prepared to act on his conviction.

Naruto's breath hitched. "But Kurama, this… this might turn you into something else. Something worse."

A deep chuckle resonated through his consciousness. "Don't worry about me, kid. I've been through worse. Besides, I'll just explain it to the next you. Just do me a favor and make the next version of you more like Ashura and you. And I mean the real you, not the mask you wear. We need someone truly strong."

Naruto clenched his fists. "Alright… let's finish this."

Instead of screaming in agony or succumbing to terror, the rabbit goddess exhaled a deep, resolute sigh as nearly all her essence was being siphoned into him. "Well, I suppose there's only one course of action left if this is your true intention." Kaguya deftly retrieved a vial containing a strange dark red liquid from her pocket dimension, transforming it into an ink that flowed seamlessly across her skin.

Naruto instinctively moved to intervene, an urge to save her surging through him, yet a powerful, unseen force compelled him to remain still. It was as though an invisible chain bound him, reinforcing the certainty that any attempt to halt her would be futile.

With unwavering determination, Kaguya channeled the remnants of her chakra, guiding her blood to carve intricate symbols across her body, each stroke purposeful and exacting. The moment she completed the markings, a radiant glow erupted from beneath the surface of her skin, illuminating the darkness around them. Kaguya's new markings shimmered with an otherworldly brightness, signaling the awakening of an ancient power within her.

"I, Kaguya Otsutsuki, willingly seal myself within the very essence of Naruto Uzumaki, merging not only our souls but also the accumulated power and memories of all his past lives into a singular, formidable entity known as 'Hellrest.' It is my curse that this new being embodies the very essence of the Hellrest foretold by the ancient gods. Unlike others who are forced to bend to divine will, he shall possess the rare ability to forge his own destiny, free from external manipulations.

However, as part of this transformation, he will undergo a harrowing trial. His innate powers and memories will be stripped away, leaving behind a blank slate that he must fill himself. To reclaim the might that lies dormant within, he will need to embark on a profound journey of self-discovery, facing countless challenges that will test his mind, body, and spirit.

In this destiny I have woven, he is destined to be my child of prophecy—an enigmatic figure who holds the potential to either unleash destruction or serve as a guardian for all beings of power: humans, gods, demons, and even the draconic beasts of legend. He will rise to become the mightiest of my progeny, a testament to my revenge against the heavens that wronged me.

As he navigates the chaos and complexities of existence, he will uncover a unique path—one that allows him to manifest his own vision of peace or chaos across the realms. The fate of countless lives may hinge upon his choices, and the world will tremble at the ripple effects of his awakening."

As the final syllables of the incantation echoed through the air, Naruto's transformation commenced in an awe-inspiring spectacle. His body lit up with intricate, swirling tattoos that shimmered and pulsed with otherworldly energy as if they were alive and resonating with the very essence of his chakra. The transformation began with his seal unraveling, sending out a mesmerizing dance of light and shadow that flowed gracefully across his skin, creating a stunning visual display that captivated all who witnessed it.

Naruto's hair, once a familiar and playful shade of blonde, underwent a remarkable and mesmerizing transformation. It erupted into a vibrant yellowish-orange, radiating warmth and energy, before shifting into a passionate orange-red that seemed to pulse with life. Each transition intensified with a brilliance that captivated the eye until it culminated in a blinding light that illuminated his surroundings like a fiery beacon. Finally, his hair settled into a striking crimson red, each strand shimmering with an aura of immense power and intensity, commanding attention and respect from all who beheld it.

As for his eyes, they momentarily reverted to their typical state—a serene calmness that belied the raging tempest of emotions swirling within. Yet, a haunting phenomenon unfolded deep within their depths: the obsidian portions of his irises bore the intricate kanji symbol for "death," a stark and ominous reminder of the brutal battles he had endured throughout his tumultuous journey. His pupils, oddly reminiscent of a skeleton, hinted at his newfound mastery over the shadowy arts of necromancy, a dark talent intricately woven into the very fabric of his being, bestowed upon him by the enigmatic shinigami.

His gaze swept through an extraordinary spectrum of colors, fluidly shifting from a cool, tranquil blue akin to the serene expanse of a clear sky at dawn to a vibrant, mesmerizing purple that echoed the rich hues of twilight. This striking transformation eventually deepened into a ferocious, blood-red hue, vivid as a freshly spilled crimson tide, conveying the raw ferocity of his spirit—an unwavering flame of determination burning fiercely within him. Ultimately, his eyes settled into a piercing amber, a color that spoke of wisdom forged through hardship and an unfathomable strength, embodying both the burdens of his past and the indomitable resolve of his soul.

At that moment, it was unequivocally clear that Naruto had transcended the mundane limitations of ordinary power. His presence resonated with a phenomenal duality, embodying both dread and awe, as the very air around him crackled with an electric tension. He had become not just a warrior but a force of nature, marked by the weight of his past and the potential of his future.

The tattoos that spiraled across Naruto's form were a breathtaking fusion of demonic and divine artistry, interweaving symbols that represented ancient strength and chaotic beauty. Each design spoke of a legacy steeped in magic and ferocity, a tangible testament to the profound transformation raging within him.

At the same time, Kaguya's form began to glow with ethereal light, her chakra unraveling like threads of silk as Naruto's overwhelming power enveloped her entirely. The air crackled with energy as the tailed beasts surged forth from his soul, emerging in brilliant flashes of light. They reformed into miniature manifestations that danced around him, their auras vibrant and pulsating with life. Yet, as they settled into their new forms, an enigmatic phenomenon unfolded between the two Kuramas, hinting at a connection that transcended mere physical forms and spoke to the very fabric of their beings. One was the familiar nine-tailed fox, and the other… a monstrous, shadowy form with ten tails whose form looked a lot like Kurama. The form kept changing to gain and lose features of the others, its power vast and overwhelming.

Naruto stood frozen, his amber eyes locked onto the unfamiliar figure before him, a whirlwind of emotions swirling within him. "So… you're a Ten-Tails now, Kurama?" he ventured, his voice laced with uncertainty and a hint of fear.

The being before him smirked, a flicker of familiar intelligence shining through his new form. "Yes and no. Yes, the one you've known as Kurama is indeed me. But the beast you recognize as the nine-tailed fox is no longer what I am. I have transcended beyond that—gaining a new tail has fundamentally changed me. Now, the new nine tails carry the name Kurama. As for me, I am nameless until I reclaim my true form. But right now, Kit, you're disintegrating. You're on the brink of death."

A shadow fell over Naruto's expression as he replied, "I know I accepted my fate. This was my plan all along." The weight of his words hung heavily in the air, echoing the sacrifices he had made.

"I'm not letting you die alone," the Ten-Tails asserted, determination flooding his voice.

Naruto's brow furrowed in confusion. "Huh, what do you mean? What do you plan to do?"

In response, the seal upon Naruto's abdomen began to glow with an otherworldly light, pulsating like a heartbeat. The Ten-Tails extended his hand toward the seal, an ethereal connection forming. Yin Kurama, sensing the urgency in their reunion, reached out as well. Understanding the profound decision his former half was about to make, Kurama summoned all his energy, pulling Yin Kurama inside him, melding their essences together in a powerful act of unity. In a transformative moment, the Ten-Tails replaced the previous Kurama within Naruto's seal, forging a bond that transcended their former identities.

Just when Naruto thought the turmoil had subsided, the presence of the remaining tailed beasts stirred within him. One by one, they expressed their intrigue. "We wish to join this journey as well," they conveyed in unison. "We've witnessed how the shinobi world has exploited our power for their own selfish ends. Now, we desire to leave with the one who acknowledges us not as mere tools, but as friends."

As their intent became clear, Naruto felt a surge of hope mixed with the weight of responsibility. This was not just about survival; it was about changing the very fabric of the world they inhabited, together.

He declared with a confident smirk, the corners of his mouth curling upward as the very essence of his being began to disintegrate into shimmering dusk particles, each one catching the light like tiny stars, gradually fading from existence. Only his head remained, a defiant beacon suspended in the air, eyes blazing with an unwavering resolve as he boldly provoked, "Bring it on." With those audacious words, the infinite Tsukuyomi crumbled around him, unraveling into a void of oblivion as the strongest ninja alive dissolved into a myriad of glittering dust particles, each fleck imbued with the colossal power of the bijū dragons, ancient deities, and primal demons that had once surged through his veins.

Now entwined with the formidable essence of Kaguya, Naruto's soul emanated an almost blinding radiance, a brilliant halo of energy intertwining with an intricate, swirling celestial portal that had suddenly materialized before him, pulsating with an array of vibrant, iridescent hues. The energy surged and crackled around him, enveloping him in a breathtaking cocoon of brilliance. From this radiant cocoon, a colossal, luminous figure began to emerge—a grand silhouette, exuding overwhelming power, akin to a divine goddess ascending from the mystical depths of ancient myth and legend.

The air around him throbbed with ethereal energy, heavy with an intoxicating charge that sent tremors through his very being. Each vibration resonated in harmony with the monumental shift occurring in reality itself; time and space warped and quaked in deference to this extraordinary transformation. The brilliance of Naruto's new form illuminated the surrounding darkness, casting dynamic shadows that danced like specters upon the ground, as if the very fabric of existence bowed down to witness this awe-inspiring evolution of power.

As the portal beckoned them into a new and uncharted world, Kurama's voice rumbled in Naruto's mind one final time, deep and resonant like distant thunder. "This is just the beginning. Wherever we're heading, you'll need to be ready. You carry all of us now, kit. Let's make sure this time… we end it for good." With that, commitment ignited in Naruto's heart, the weight of legacy fueling his determination as he braced himself for the challenges to come.

A secret hideout*

"Hmmm, Hellrest has been made but not in my world; wait, the stupid rabbit is gone, but now I can bring Hellrest here. But I need to hide him from Bahumant. Or use Bahumant, but how." A giant hidden figure stated.

"Umm, master, why don't you hide the power of Hellrest deeper into the soul, then place the boy right under Bahumants nose so he empowers the boy? Then, when you're ready to unleash Hellrest stronger than anyone has heard, You and Bahumant are the only two who can train him strong enough, but you will be looking for a host while Bahumant is doing nothing."

That's an ingenious idea, but it is imperative that this boy bears one of the most illustrious bloodlines ever chronicled in history. Therefore, every detail must be executed with utmost precision. Allow me a brief moment to claim his soul for our purpose. With a grand, sweeping motion of his hand, a shimmering essence slowly materialized, luminous and ethereal, dancing with an otherworldly light. He carefully enveloped it within a reddish crystal orb, its surface alive with swirling vibrant hues that shifted like a living flame.

"You shall be known as Hellrest," he proclaimed, his voice resonating with an unyielding authority that filled the room with gravitas. "But for now, you must walk the earth as an ordinary child. Seek out a family to embrace, immerse yourself in their world, and bide your time until the moment arrives when your true destiny is revealed."

As he spoke passionately, he hurled the crystal with a sense of urgency into the very heart of the village. It soared through the air before striking a woman near a rustic wooden stall, the impact producing a soft yet unmistakable crack. The crystal shattered into a dazzling array of glittering shards that suspended momentarily, catching the warm hues of the setting sun as they danced in the breeze.

The woman, a figure of grace in a flowing summer dress, was accompanied by a man whose hearty laughter had just echoed through the square. Beside them stood their 14-year-old son, his bright eyes wide with surprise, as the sounds of their joy mingled harmoniously with the distant melody of children playing and the gentle rustle of leaves. The moment was a stark contrast between the explosive shattering of the crystal and the warmth of the familial bonds that tied them together, encapsulating the very essence of life in the village.

"What did that do master? I saw the crystal break what happened to the soul trapped within it?" inquired a diminutive figure lurking in the shadows, eyes wide with curiosity.

"The crystal has chosen a new life for him," the large figure explained, a hint of satisfaction in his voice. "This family bears a striking resemblance to his previous incarnation, yet their lineage is even more potent. I have granted Naruto Uzumaki a second chance, but this time, he is in a new world and he will rise as Hellrest a force destined to reclaim his power."

This is the first part of a new story I have considered. Don't worry the Kitsune Gremory story isn't being stopped. I plan to post the next part soon. I'm sorry it's been so long since I last updated. I didn't have time to write for a while, and writer's block hit me hard. This story will be updated often until I get back into rhythm with the Kitsune Gremory.
