Katniss won the 74th Hunger games and there did not become a revolution. The third quarter quell is about to begin and everyone is scared to get chosen. The thing about it is that there will be chosen two participants, one male and one female between 12 - 18 (as usual) but the problem it that after they are chosen a familymember to each of them will be chosen regardless of age.

When Sadie Fields and Rye Mellark are reaped for the 74th Hunger Games, the odds couldn't be crueler. Sadie—the sweet, nurturing girl who would rather die than harm another soul—and Rye—the fiery, protective middle brother of Peeta Mellark—are inseparable. (This fic draws heavily on the events mentioned in my two, previous one-shots in this universe, "Masquerade," and "A Gilded Cage," and I would recommend reading those first.)

AU. The games never faced interruptions, rebellion a thought of the past. After the meager performance of it's predecessor, the 124th Hunger Games had steep expectations to meet. After all, complacency was the bane of success. To that, the president would use all tools at her disposal to usher the games in a direction of her design. SYOT
