Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Max, Tai, Matt, Sora T, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, TK, Kari, Davis, Yolei, Cody, Ken, Amy, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Salamon, Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Wormmon, Lunamon, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, and Celeste falling after Devimon's assault.
"Marching Fishes!" Gomamon shouted, summoning several multicolored fish, catching them and softens their landing. "Nice catch, you guys!"
"That was a real nasty fall," Naminé said.
"Azurill," Azurill chirped.
"Yeah, but at least we're all alive," Yolei said.
"For a moment, my life flashed before my eyes," Amy said.
"But where are the others?" Kairi asked.
"Probably sent to different parts of the Digital World," Izzy said.
"We have no way of knowing where to look," Joe said.
"But where are we?" Sora asked.
"I don't know, but I am wondering if the others made it out okay," Cody said.
"But we're not going to find out by standing around," Matt said.
"Matt's right. I think we should start by finding the others," TK said.
"Maybe one of us can try calling them through our Rotom Phones," Davis suggested.
"Way ahead of you," Sora said, taking out his Rotom Phone, but it didn't have a signal to make any calls. "No good. I got a bad signal."
The whole group tried to make a call to someone else, but they had zero luck.
"So much for making a call," Max groaned.
"Well, nothing we can do but get a move on," Sora T said.
"Let's go," Ken said.
With that said, the group started to make their way through the area and they didn't see any signs of their friends, but they didn't want to give up so soon.
"So, TK, what was up back there? It kinda looks like you actually knew him," Max pointed out.
"Well, Devimon was one of the first evil Digimon we ever faced," TK said.
"It's true. Devimon used the powers of darkness to his advantage in order to destroy us. He used several black gears to make Digimon turn berserk," Izzy said.
"But Devimon couldn't have come back since we destroyed him," Agumon said.
"Actually, Patamon destroyed him," Biyomon said.
"Patamon?" Kairi asked.
"That's right. Patamon first Digivolved and used up his power to defeat Devimon," Sora T said.
"He saved TK's life," Matt said.
"He saved all our lives," Mimi said.
"What happened?" Sora asked.
"It's something that happened during our first time here. Devimon used the powers of darkness on himself, thinking it'll make himself invincible. He grew to giant-size. All of our Digimon tried to take him down, but he was too much for them. When Devimon was about to claim victory, Patamon began to Digivolve to Angemon and used up the power he had, finishing Devimon off. What we learned is that when a Digimon dies, their data gets reconfigured and they begin life all over again," Matt said.
"Wow. It reminds me of when Sora sacrificed himself for Kairi in Hollow Bastion," Naminé said, remembering seeing it.
"Please, don't bring that up," Kairi said.
"You sacrificed yourself for Kairi, Sora 2?" Amy asked, shocked.
"It's a long story," Sora and Kairi said in unison.
As they kept moving, they could smell something foul in the air.
"Phew, what is that smell?" Mimi asked.
"Ugh, it smells worse than a Monochromon's breath," Palmon said.
"Look over there," Biyomon said, pointing to the source of the stink. It was coming from piles of garbage. Coming out of the garbage were some Numemon along with some other Digimon. This Digimon resembles a yellow blob of typical animal excrement that has a large mouth that is usually shown wrapping around its entire cephalothorax, splitting it in half with a large tongue in the lower mandible. It has long arms with two belts on each wrist, a belt on the upper part of its right arm, and multiple metal rings on its long fingers. This Digimon is known as Sukamon.
"Yummy, garbage," one of the Numemon said.
"Those are Numemon, but what are those yellow ones?" Max asked.
"Sukamon. They're pretty much the same level as Numemon," Hawkmon said.
"But they're usually accompanied by smaller Digimon called Chuumon," Wormmon said.
"What are Chuumon?" Sora asked.
"We're Chuumon," a small voice spoke. They looked down and saw three bipedal rat-like creature with pink fur, large ears, and black eyes. They each five digits on each hand and foot with black nails.
"And we were a lot closer than you think," another Chuumon said.
"Okay. You mind telling us where we are?" Sora asked.
"You're where all the Digital World's garbage goes after it's been thrown away," the third Chuumon said.
"In the Digital World, its garbage automatically comes here just so no one can worry about littering," the second Chuumon said.
"That's a good way to keep it clean," Max said.
"The Numemon and the Sukamon seems to like it," Joe said.
"I guess the old saying in every world so far; one man's trash is another man's treasure," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"They're not the only ones," Agumon said.
There were some Digimon that slightly resembled Numemon, but they were yellow and they had brown spots on their backs.
"Yellow Numemon?" Kairi asked.
"They're not Numemon, those are Geremon," Salamon said.
"They're close relatives of Numemon," Gomamon said.
"The resemblance is uncanny," Naminé said.
"Wait, why are we standing around here for? We gotta go and find May and the others," Max said.
"Max is right. And they're probably looking for us by now," Cody said.
"Well, we should get going," Tai said.
"The further we are away from the stink, the better," Mimi said.
"Good luck trying to get away," the first Chuumon said.
"Why do you say that?" Kari asked.
"Because of Megadramon and Gigadramon," the first Chuumon answered.
"Megadramon and Gigadramon?" Amy asked.
"Yes. They both rule this area with iron fists. Anything that ends up here is here for good. It doesn't matter if it's garbage or not, because you're nothing but property to them," the third Chuumon said.
"And when they catch you trying to leave, they'll blow you up into bits," the second Chuumon said.
"Well, someone should tell him that we don't plan on staying here," Davis said.
"It's your funeral," the three Chuumon said, taking off.
"You don't think we're going to he here forever, do you?" Max asked.
"Not if we have any say about it," Yolei said.
"What do you know about Megadramon and Gigadramon?" Kairi asked.
"Only that those two are brothers, and they're very bad news," Biyomon said.
"Megadramon is a powerful Digimon, but a rank amateur compared to Gigadramon," Tentomon said.
"I didn't think we'd end up in their turf," Veemon said.
"We should be okay. I don't think they even know we're here," Izzy said.
"Are you sure, Izzy?" Lunamon asked.
"I'm not a hundred percent certain, but we should get a move on and get out of this area while we still can. It'll be wise if we saw the enemy before the enemy sees us," Izzy said.
Unknown to them, they're being watched by a Digimon that is based off of a gray, brass gear with cog-like hands. This Digimon is known as Hagurumon.
"Some property is about to take their leave. The bosses aren't going to let that happen," Hagurumon said, chuckling to himself. He takes off to inform his bosses.
Meanwhile, there are two dragon-like Digimon sitting on their heaps of scrap metal. One is a orange-brown dragon with blue hair and yellow eyes. It has two tattered purple wings with some parts stitched, two arms and no legs. It wears a black metallic helmet with two triangular horns extruding from the back of it on its head, and a black robotic gauntlet with three large metal claws on each of its arms, from which blue organic missiles are fired. Each of the shark-like organic missile has two arms, six red fins, a white nose tip, a mouth full of sharp teeth, but no eyes. The other one is a purple dragon with purple hair and yellow eyes with the same design as the red one. It has robotic wings and two arms, and wears a black helmet and black gauntlets on its arms. The red one is Megadramon and the purple one is Gigadramon. Just then, Hagurumon came before them.
"Hagurumon. This better be important," Megadramon said.
"Lord Megadramon, Lord Gigadramon, there are some property planning to lead your dominion without your permission," Hagurumon reported. Megadramon and Gigadramon growled in anger.
"Is that so?! What do you say, brother?" Megadramon asked.
"I say we blow them into bits and make an example out of them," Gigadramon said.
"Let's send the Garbagemon and the Roachmon just to soften them up first," Megadramon said.
"Please, allow me to do that," Hagurumon said.
Back with Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Max, Tai, Matt, Sora T, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, TK, Kari, Davis, Yolei, Cody, Ken, Amy, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Salamon, Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Wormmon, Lunamon, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, and Celeste, they wondered through the junkyard, trying a way out. Just when the ears of the Pokémon perked up. They saw several full garbage bags flying at them.
"Look out!" Riku exclaimed.
"Run for it!" Armadillomon shouted.
"Man, what was that about?!" Sora exclaimed.
"It's a proper welcome," a bunch of voices said.
They saw a bunch of pink sludge like Digimon who hides in a garbage pail with various characters of DigiCode graffitied upon its surface. They each carried a bazooka, and wears a banana peel as a makeshift hat. They also each carry a trash lid as a makeshift shield. These Digimon are Garbagemon.
"By behalf of the Garbagemon welcoming committee," one of the Garbagemon said.
"Garbagemon!" TK exclaimed.
"And that's just only the first phase," the first Garbagemon said.
They turned to see dark brown cockroach-like Digimon. They each had four arms and four legs, skulls tattooed on their arms and the same skull tattoo on their wings. They had crooked teeth, and red eyes. These are Roachmon.
"The Roachmon welcoming committee is at your service! And we're here to see to it that your stay here is permanent!" One of the Roachmon said.
"Not if we have anything to say about it," Sora said, summoning his Kingdom Key. Kairi summoned her Destiny's Embrace as Riku and Naminé summoned the Braveheart and Oathkeeper. All the Digimon except for Lunamon began to Digivolve.
"Agumon Digivolve to... Greymon!"
"Gabumon Digivolve to... Garurumon!"
"Biyomon Digivolve to... Birdramon!"
"Tentomon Digivolve to... Kabuterimon!"
"Palmon Digivolve to... Togemon!"
"Gomamon Digivolve to... Ikkakumon!"
"Patamon Digivolve to... Angemon!"
"Salamon Digivolve to... Gatomon!"
"Veemon Digivolve to... ExVeemon!"
"Hawkmon Digivolve to... Aquilamon!"
"Armadillomon Digivolve to... Ankylomon!"
"Wormmon Digivolve to... Stingmon!"
The Digivolved Digimon stood before their opponents and glared right at them.
"Ooh, I'm scared. NOT!" The leading Garbagemon shouted. "Open fire!"
"Get 'em, boys!" The leading Roachmon shouted.
The Garbagemon and Roachmon launched their attacks on their enemies. Greymon swings his tail, smacking them. The Roachmon fluttered and rushed at them, but Riku unleashed a blast of darkness, hitting the roach-like Digimon.
"Big Horn!" Kabuterimon shouted, ramming his horn through some of the Roachmon. "Cucaracha!"
"Cat Laser!" Gatomon shouted, firing a laser from her eyes, hitting a Roachmon. "Lightning Kick!" She kicked him. Pikachu and Xipak fired a combo Thunderbolt and shocked some of the Garbagemon.
"Blast Rings!" Aquilamon shouted, hitting the Garbagemon and Roachmon.
"Sub-Zero Ice Fang!" Garurumon shouted with his fangs emitting ice and lands a strong bite on them. Eevee fired Shadow Ball as Azurill fired Water Gun at the Roachmon as Angel and Celeste fired Swift.

Garurumon, "Howling Blaster!"
Birdramon, "Meteor Wing!"
Kabuterimon, "Electro Shocker!"
Togemon, "Needle Spray!"
Ikkakumon, "Harpoon Torpedo!"

Stingmon, "Spiking Strike!"
The Digimon launched their attacks on the opposing Digimon. One of the Roachmon came for Amy and Lunamon, but Davis came to her aid.
"Watch out!" Davis shouted, saving both her and Lunamon.
"ExVee Punch!" ExVeemon shouted, giving the attacking Roachmon a powerful punch.
"Thank you, ExVeemon," Lunamon said.
"No problem, Lunamon," ExVeemon said.
"Amy, use your Digivice to make Lunamon Digivolve," Davis said.
"How?" Amy asked.
"Just do what you did for me before when I was Moonmon. You can have me Digivolve. You just have to believe in me," Lunamon said. Amy nodded as she understood.
"I do believe in you. You helped me before and I know you can. It's because you're my friend," Amy said.
"You're my friend, too, Amy," Lunamon said as Amy's Digivice began to glow. Lunamon started to glow in a light purple light. Amy knew Lunamon was now Digivolving. "Lunamon Digivolve to..." Lunamon transformed into a rabbit-like Digimon with Lunamon's coloring and markings. Her rabbit feet has three dark blue claws and she has 6 blue ribbons coming from her back. She wore small belts on her feet and black fingerless gloves with the moon imprinted on them. She wore a silver mask over her face with the same moon symbol. "Lekismon!" Amy was at awe when she saw what her partner had turned into.
"Wow. Lekismon. You're beautiful," Amy said with awe.
"Thank you, Amy. It was your belief that gave me the strength I needed to Digivolve. And I'm going to use it!" Lekismon said, jumping into action. "Hey, guys! Mind if I join the party?"
"There's always room for one more," Stingmon said.
"And besides, you're one of us," Birdramon said.
"I'm glad to be part of the team," Lekismon said.
"Let's see how long you last on the ream!" A Garbagemon shouted, rushing at Lekismon and aiming his bazooka. "Junk Chunker!" He fired Digimon poop at her.
"I don't think so," Lekismon said, pulling out an arrow of ice from the protrusions on her back. "Tear Arrow!" She fires it. It cuts through the poop and pierces the attacking Garbagemon in the chest, destroying him. Another Garbagemon rushes at her. Lekismon jumped in the air and comes down in a diving kick. "Moon Night Kick!" Lekismon gave the Garbagemon a kick, sending him flying. "Who's next?" The other Garbagemon and Roachmon jumped towards her as Kairi casts a magnet spell, pulling in all the Digimon in it. Kairi casts a crystal fire spell, hitting them and destroying them.
They kept on fighting the Garbagemon and Roachmon right until the last of them were defeated.
"And here I thought roaches are the toughest insects there is," Togemon said.
"Yeah, but they got squished so easily," Greymon said.
"Retreat!" The leading Garbagemon shouted.
"We're out of here!" The leading Roachmon shouted as well.
Both the Garbagemon and Roachmon began to retreat, beaten by the combined might of the Keyblade wielders, their Pokémon partners, and the 13 Digimon.
"That sent them running," Max said.
"Looks like we took out the trash," Sora T said.
"Yes, you did," one creepy voice said. Everyone flinched when they heard him.
"We'll have to finish what you started!" The other voice said.
Just then, Megadramon and Gigadramon hovered down at them.
"Megadramon and Gigadramon," Izzy said.
"The ones you mentioned before," Naminé said.
"I gotta say, you're much stronger than we thought," Megadramon said.
"I agree with my brother. We could use you as a security force for our land," Gigadramon said.
"Not if we have anything to say about it!" Tai said.
"We're taking off rather if you like it or not," Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu and Xipak said.
"Then, we're gonna have to blow you to bits," Gigadramon hissed.
"That's what we had in mind from the very start," Megadramon said. Both dragon Digimon got into position to launch their attack. "Dark Side Attack!"
"Genocide Attack!" Gigadramon roared. Both Digimon fired organic missiles from their arms.
"Hit the dirt!" Tai yelled.
"Max, run!" Riku shouted as the missiles started to come down. They jumped when the missiles explode when they made contact with the ground, getting everyone caught in the debris.
"That was brutal," Joe said.
"They gotta be stopped," Sora said, rushing after them.
"Sora, wait!" Riku called out.
"Ketchum," Tai said. Sora ran up Megadramon's back and right to his face. Sora smacked him hard with his Kingdom Key. Megadramon grabbed Sora in his claws.
"No one has ever gotten this close to me this fast and lived. What is your name, little rat?" Megadramon asked.
"None of your business!" Sora said.
"That's how you want it, huh? Fine with me. I don't really care anyway. I'll just crush you like a fresh egg," Megadramon said.
"Nova Blast!" Greymon shouted, firing his fireball at his claw. He dropped Sora, but he managed to land on his feet thanks to his training.
"That Digimon thinks he actually stands a chance against us, brother," Gigadramon said.
"He's gotta be stupid if he thinks that," Megadramon said.
"Not as stupid as you think. Tai, I think I could use a boost!" Greymon said.
"I'm with you all the way, buddy!" Tai said as his Digivice began to glow. His heart then gave off an orange glow. The Crest of Courage is revealed. Greymon then began to Digivolve, much to everyone's surprise.
"Greymon Digivolve to..." Greymon a bipedal reptilian Digimon still with the elements of the ceratosaurus and Gomora, but mechanized resulting in him having missile hatches on his chest and robotic mechanisms under his skin which are partially exposed on his tail. He has three clawed fingers on his hands and three clawed toes on his feet, with claws protruding from its heels. He wears a metallic rhinoceros beetle-like helmet on his head with red hair underneath on the back of his head and his left arm is robotic with a tether connecting his hand. He has purple tattered wings on his back. "MetalGreymon!"
Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Max, Amy, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, and Celeste were awestruck by what they saw.
"Wow. Greymon Digivolved," Amy said.
"It's awesome," Max said.
"He Digivolved," Megadramon said.
"It doesn't matter, brother. There's only two of us and only one of him!" Gigadramon said.
"You're right. He can't take us both on!" Megadramon said.
"Did you forget about me?" Sora asked, throwing his Keyblade while emitting fire. It struck Gigadramon. He resummoned his Keyblade and he threw it again, this time, emitting lightning. He threw it again as Pikachu fired Thunderbolt, combining with the Keyblade. The Keyblade struck Megadramon on the mark. "Okay, MetalGreymon! It's your turn!"
"Thanks!" MetalGreymon said, opening his chest. "Giga Blaster!" Two organic missiles come flying out and struck Megadramon, destroying him. Gigadramon was horrified.
"Megadramon!" Gigadramon cried.
"Brother..." Megadramon said before he completely dissolved into bits of data. Gigadramon turned to MetalGreymon with vengeance in his eyes.
"How dare you do that to my little brother! I will never forgive you for that! I will avenge him!" Gigadramon roared.
"Don't worry, you'll be together again soon," MetalGreymon said, holding out his metallic arm. "Mega Arm!" MetalGreymon extends it and struck Gigadramon. "Giga Blaster!" MetalGreymon fired right at Gigadramon and it struck him on the mark. It wasn't enough to finish him off.
"Is that the best you can do?!" Gigadramon roared.
"Try this!" MetalGreymon said, opening his chest again. "Giga Storm!" He sends out a high-temperature energy wave from the firing ports on its chest. Gigadramon roared as he dissolved into bits of data, too. "Another one bites the dust." MetalGreymon reverts back to Agumon and fell on his rump tired. "I'm so tired." Sora, Tai, and Pikachu ran up to Agumon and helped him up.
"You were awesome, Agumon," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Thanks, Sora 2. So were you," Agumon said.
"Thanks for saving me," Sora said.
"I had to because you're Tai's friend," Agumon said.
"He's right, Ketchum. And you're Agumon's friend, too. Same thing with Kairi, Riku, Naminé, and the rest," Tai said.
"Yeah. You're right. Our hearts are connected," Sora said.
Just then, the Numemon, Geremon, Sukamon, and Chuumon came and they were all smiling.
"Megadramon and Gigadramon are gone! We're free!" One of the Geremon cheered.
"You're glad they're gone?" Sora T asked.
"Yes, because they kept us here as prisoners and treated us like we were things instead of living things. They had their Garbagemon and Roachmon soldiers keep us in line and prevent us from leaving. We thought were stuck here forever until you came and liberated us from those oppressive brothers," one of the Numemon said.
"So we thank you," one of the Sukamon said.
"It was wrong to imprison you like that, so you're welcome," Kari said.
"Well, since no one's keeping you here anymore, you can now go wherever you want, can you?" Max asked.
"We can," the first Numemon said.
"We're grateful to you," one of the Chuumon said.
"Now, we just gotta find the others," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Pika," Xipak said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Max, Tai, Matt, Sora T, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, TK, Kari, Davis, Yolei, Cody, Ken, Amy, Agumon, Gabumon, Biyomon, Tentomon, Palmon, Gomamon, Patamon, Gatomon, Veemon, Hawkmon, Armadillomon, Wormmon, Lunamon, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Azurill, Xipak, and Celeste took their leave of the junkyard to look for their friends, but where could they be?
