We open up to Xemnas, Xigbar, Xaldin, Vexen, Lexeaus, and Zexion as they arrived to the Digital World through corridors of darkness.
"I never thought I'd come to this place. The world that Ansem the Wise created so long ago," Zexion said.
"But I was hoping this world would play a huge role someday," Xigbar said.
"It's been a long time that any of us even thought of this place at all. But I do share Xigbar's opinion on this matter," Xaldin said.
"If it's not too much trouble, Lord Xemnas, is there a special reason why we're here?" Lexeaus asked.
"Yes. Sora and the other Guardians of Kingdom Hearts have joined forces with the DigiDestined. Ansem the Wise knew such a day would come, though he never truly believed it would have come to pass," Xemnas said.
"Indeed. Master Ansem never imagined the Digimon would develop their own hearts. I was just as surprised," Vexen said.
"The Digimon's ability to create their own hearts was unforeseeable, but one cannot deny the heart's resilience. Vexen, do you have the data that I requested?" Xemnas asked.
"Right here," Vexen said, taking out a disc and hands it to the Organization's superior. "But I still don't understand why you wanted that of all data, Lord Xemnas."
"Let us just say that there are some old friends who wishes to say hello," Xemnas said.
"Are you sure about this, Lord Xemnas? We are making a huge risk," Xaldin said.
"Ah, come on, Xaldin, don't be a stick in the mud. Where's your sense of adventure?" Xigbar asked.
"Xigbar has a point, Xaldin. This is a chance we can't afford to let slip by," Lexeaus said.
"I agree. And that is why I brought you five with me," Xemnas said.
"And that explains why you wanted Saïx and the rest of the Organization to stay behind. I feel so honored," Xigbar said.
"My friends, we must breathe life into our creations once more, and allow them to roam the Digital World once again," Xemnas said. With that said, Xigbar, Xaldin, Vexen, Lexeaus, and Zexion each gave some of their power into the disc as Xemnas does the same thing. "Four hearts in darkness, I summon you back into existence. Come and exact you vengeance against those who robbed you of your lives. Let the hatred you feel bring you back to life. Come forth, masters of the sea, the forest, the city, and the wasteland. Come four masters of darkness!" And then, four mysterious being resubmerge from the nothingness they once occupied.
One is an automated armored sea serpent with long flowing hair. It is clad in gold and silver armor with fins protruding out. Its nose houses a cannon barrel with a hexagonal cross-section. Above its head are two horns attached, one on the forehead and another one on the tip of the nose. The horn on the forehead is significantly larger and comes with a knife-like edge at the front. It has two tails ending in a harpoon-like shape. This Digimon is MetalSeadramon.
Another is a puppet-like Digimon wearing a red hat with a yellow skull imprinted on the center, and a puppet manipulator on his back. He has a metal nose, and carried a revolver hammer as a weapon. This Digimon is known as Puppetmon.
Another is a machine Digimon made from synthesized body parts of many Cyborg Digimon such as Megadramon's helmet and right claw,MetalTyrannomon's jaw and chest circuits, two ofMetalMamemon's Psycho Blasters,MetalGreymon's left claw and chest plates, andAndromon's shoulder pads. His tail is a hollow stump. This Digimon is known as Machinedramon.
And finally, the fourth one is a humanoid Digimon designed after thePierrotand other entertainers of thejesterarchetype, with additional influences from the mythologicalPaimon. He wears a flamboyant, multi-colored outfit as well as a mask hiding most of its facial features, blue ribbons on his outfit and aruffaround his neck. He has four swords on the "Magic Box" on his back, the pommels of which are designed after thefour traditional suitsfor playing cards: "Clubs", "Diamonds", "Hearts", and "Spades". This Digimon is known Piedmon.
Xemnas, Xigbar, Xaldin, Vexen, Lexeaus, and Zexion took their leave back to their stronghold.
Meanwhile, over in Sow-on-Side in the Galar region, an Impidimp is seen running with a box of cakes.
"Hey, come back here with those, you little thief!" A man's voice shouted, giving chase to the Wily Pokémon. Impidimp fired a Dark Pulse, hitting the man and then kept on running with the cake. Satisfied with a clean getaway, Impidimp wolfs down the cakes as fast as a Munchlax would eat. A Hatenna sees Impidimp eating the cakes until only crumbs were left. The frosting from different cakes are smeared on his face as he burped. Hatenna was grossed out by Impidimp's lack of manners. She was about to leave when she saw some strange light. Curious, Hatenna started to toward it. Seeing the light as well, Impidimp ran right toward it, walking passed Hatenna. Impidimp just looked at it and placed his hand on it, but it just took him in. Impidimp tried to pull out, but it was no use. The light then started to pull in the imp-like Pokémon as Hatenna rushed over to Impidimp, trying to help him, but they both end up being pulled in the light. They yelp and scream as they fall through a digital void. They then appeared in the Digital World. Impidimp and Hatenna knew they were in unfamiliar territory as several Porygon and Porygon2 flew over them. They then spot Ash, Leaf, Ethan, Kris, Lyra, Takato, Henry, Jeri, Kazu, Kenta, Ryo, Suzie, the Digimon, and Marill, and Guil. They started to run up to them.
Meanwhile, somewhere in Celadon City, inside a house, there is a tall teenage boy with lightly tanned skin, shoulder length auburn hair and olive green eyes. His hair is usually tied back in a half-ponytail, with bangs framing the sides of his face. His attire consists of a white shirt under an unbuttoned red shirt, blue jeans, and red sneakers with white laces and soles. He wears a rectangular silver pendant on a white string. His Pokémon consists of a Charizard, a Machamp, a Paldean Tauros, a Poliwrath, a Throh, and a Single Strike Urshifu. He and his Pokémon are wolfing down some breakfast when he retrieves a call from his orange Rotom Phone. He saw it was someone named Yoshino calling him. He answered.
"Yeah, what is it?" The teenage boy asked.
"Nice of you to finally answer your phone, Marcus. I've been trying to call you for an hour!" A girl's voice exclaimed.
"Well, I'm here now, so what is it?" Marcus asked.
"We've been called over to DATS. Commander Sampson said there's something going on in the Digital World, and it needs our full attention!" Yoshino said.
"You're kidding right?" Marcus asked.
"No, I'm not kidding! Thomas is already over there, and I'm already behind because of you! So, drop whatever you're doing and get down here, now!" Yoshino said.
"Alright, alright! I'm coming! Don't nag me so much!" Marcus said, hanging up. He groaned in annoyance. "Man, she can so bossy when she wants to be."
Meanwhile, holding a pink Rotom is a young woman with light skin, short dark magenta hair and dark pink eyes. She wears a pink tank top with a round collar, light blue capri jeans, a brown belt with a large elliptic silver buckle, and white boots with coral soles, markings and laces. In her room her Pokémon consists of a Lurantis, a Roserade, Meganium, Vileplume, and a Sunflora.
"Ooh, that Marcus is such a little kid," Yoshino angrily exclaimed. Her Pokémon all agreed with her fully. "I'd be surprised if he makes it over there without picking a fight. "I'm not waiting on him anymore! We're gonna have to head there now." She called her Pokémon back inside their Pokéballs. She then heads out.
Meanwhile, there's a young boy with tanned skin, messy dark blue hair, and yellow eyes. He keeps one lock of hair on the right side long, tying it with a red band. He dresses in a pale yellow, sleeveless shirt, with loose orange shorts and a brown belt, brown wristbands, and sandals. He also wears a green cloak with three white and red feathers around the lip and white leg warmers. He wields a large red and white boomerang, and uses cyan warpaint on his face. With him are Pokémon which consisted of a Noctowl, a Dodrio, a Corviknight, and a Shiny Hawlucha.
"What this mean?" The boy asked, talking like a caveman.
Meanwhile, over to a building, walking in is a tall teenager with pale skin, straight light blond hair, and light blue eyes. His attire consists of a dark green v-neck T-shirt, white pants and brown shoes with black soles. With him are Pokémon that consists of a Shiny Midnight Lycanroc, a Lucario, a Golduck, a Sawk, and a Rapid Strike Urshifu. He was called for the same reason as Marcus. He stepped in the locker room with two young women hiding in the corner, eyeing him. They both wore a blue uniform which is a blue and white top with golden patches on shoulders. They both wore white stickings and black heels. One of them has long purple hair and brown eyes while the other has blonde hair and brown hair. They had two Bisharp with them, one normal and one Shiny. The Shiny is standing with the blonde.
"Thomas is here at last!" The purple haired young woman said.
"No matter how often I say this, Miki, but he is so cute," the blonde said.
"I'm with you, Megumi. Brains and looks. That's the kind of guy worth dating," Miki said.
"Wonder if he has any plans tonight," Miki and Megumi said in unison.
"Furret!" A voice said. They winced when they turned around and saw a Furret, giving a stern expression to Miki and Megumi. They chuckled nervously.
Back in the house, Marcus started to step out
"I'm taking off, mom! I'll be back later!" Marcus called out.
"Have a nice day, and I'll be making corndogs for dinner tonight!" A woman's voice said. Marcus shuts the door.
His mother is a woman who has pale beige skin, olive-colored eyes, and cherry auburn hair in a side plait over her right shoulder. She usually wears a lavender blouse with a buttermilk camisole, a white midi skirt, and tan slippers. With her is a Blissey, helping her with the dishes.
"Blissey, Blissey," Blissey said.
"I know, Blissey. Marcus probably has something related to Digimon going on, why else would Yoshino call?" Marcus's mother asked.
"Blissey," Blissey said.
Coming down stairs is a young girl with green eyes and short auburn hair which is worn in pigtails with yellow hair ties. She wears a pink shirt, a blue skirt, and red sandals. With her is a Pa'u-style Oricorio.
"What do you think, Oricorio? You think Marcus will get chewed out for being late again?" The girl asked.
"Corio," Oricorio nodded.
"Kristy, morning," the woman greeted.
"What did you make for breakfast this morning, mom?" Kristy asked.
"Some pancakes," Marcus and Kristy's mother said. She gleefully smiled, liking the sound of a pancake breakfast.
On the wall, there's a wide picture gallery. Among the photos is a man with brown hair. He wore a light blue shirt, brown pants, and black shoes, standing with Marcus and Kristy's mother. Standing beside him is a male Pyroar.
Marcus makes his way through Celadon City, heading for DATS. Just when he is almost there, he's approached by another teenage boy.
"Hey, are you that Marcus Damon guy?" The teenage boy asked.
"You bet I am. Why?" Marcus asked.
"I wanna have a Pokémon battle against you! Unless you're scared of losing!" The teenage boy taunted, taking out a Pokéball. Marcus just scoffed.
"Is that right? Well, you're the one who's going to lose this match!" Marcus said.
"We're gonna see about that!" The teenager said, getting into position and threw his Pokéball. "Go! Emboar!" His Pokéball opened and his Emboar came out with a oinking roar. Marcus just grinned as he took out his Pokéball and threw it.
"Charizard! Come out fighting!" Marcus called out. His Pokéball opened and his Charizard lets out a loud roar as well.
"Emboar! Use Hammer Arm!" The teenage boy ordered. Emboar charges at Charizard with a Hammer Arm.
"Charizard! Use Fire Punch!" Marcus ordered. Charizard ducked its head and lands a Thunder Punch on the Mega Fire Pig Pokémon. "Now, use Breaking Swipe!" Charizard swings its tail, landing some damage on it.
"Emboar! Use Heat Crash!" The teenage boy ordered. Emboar jumps up and comes down with its whole body surrounded in flames.
"Charizard! Use Aerial Ace!" Marcus ordered. Charizard flew and lands an Aerial Ace onto Emboar, dealing some heavy damage. "Wrap it up with a Fire Punch!" Charizard came down and lands a heavy fiery punch onto Emboar, dealing some heavy damage, finishing it off. The teenage boy called back his Emboar as Marcus and Charizard fist bumped. "Great job as always, Charizard." Charizard roared proudly. He took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Go! Klawf!" The teenage boy called out as a Klawf came out, snapping its pincers. Marcus called back his Charizard and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Machamp! Come out fighting!" Marcus called out. His Pokéball opened and his Machamp came out, flexing its muscles.
"Klawf! Crabhammer!" The teenage boy ordered. Klawf rushed at Machamp with a Crabhammer.
"Machamp! Use Cross Chop!" Marcus ordered. Machamp charges at Klawf, dealing some heavy damage. Klawf had been taken down with just one hit. The teenage boy called back his Klawf and took out three of his Pokéballs and threw them.
"Try these on for size!" The teenage boy called out, letting out a Donphan, a Nidoking, and a Tyrantrum. Marcus called Machamp back and took out one more Pokéball and threw it.
"Come out fighting, Urshifu!" Marcus called out. His Pokéball to battle.
"Tyrantrum! Use Crunch! Donphan! Fire Fang! Nidoking! Smart Strike!" The teenage boy ordered. His Nidoking, Donphan, and Tyrantrum came rushing at Urshifu.
"Wicked Blow!" Marcus ordered. Urshifu's fist emits a powerful red energy and lands a hit onto Tyrantrum, Nidoking, and Donphan with a single hit, knocking them all out with just one hit. "And that's that!"
"Man, I had no idea you were this freaking strong!" The teenage boy called back his three Pokémon and took off, running.
"That young man never knew when to quit," a voice said. Marcus turned to see an elderly man who is bald on top and gray hair going around. He wore a fishing uniform. He has a gray mustache, and wore a pair of glasses. He has a Dreadnaw with him. "Reminds me of a certain young man I know."
"Hey there, old man. Anything biting today?" Marcus asked.
"Just two Magikarp and a Goldeen so far, but a true fisherman can never be too picky when it comes to fish Pokémon. Anyway, I was just heading home when I caught a glimpse of your battle," the old man said.
"Well, I was just heading in when I bumped into that guy. Just thought I'd my Pokémon a warm-up," Marcus said.
"Well, your Pokémon are pretty strong, there's no doubt about it. But you should already be in by now. You know how Commander Samson feels about you being tardy," the old man.
"Oh, right!" Marcus said, realizing how right he was and took off.
"He's a spitting image of his dad, isn't he, Homer?" A voice asked. He turned to see someone he never would expect to see with his own eyes behind him. It was Kaito Ketchum.
"Kaito Ketchum. I thought you were dead," Homer said.
"I am, but I can't stay long. Something's big going on in the Digital World. I've sensed it," Kaito said.
"I figured it had something to do with the Digital World, Kaito," Homer said.
"Yes, and it's already affecting another world; Hollow Bastion. Digimon started to appear there as well. Ansem the Wise's castle might have been compromised," Kaito said.
"And it won't be long until this world becomes affected by this as well. I appreciate this warning, Kaito. I'll have my best people on it," Homer said.
"Actually, someone else is already taking care of that. They'll take care of it," Kaito said.
Meanwhile, Marcus stepped in the DATS building, he's greeted by an Agumon, but much bigger than Tai's Agumon, and he has red straps on his claws.
"Boss, it's about you got here!" Agumon said.
"Sorry to keep you waiting, buddy," Marcus said.
"Like he's the only one, Marcus," Yoshino showing up, wearing a red uniform. With her is a Digimon and has the appearance of a flowering bud with a green body with stretchy arms and legs, and a pink head with a yellow leaf on the top of it, and a pair of eyes and a mouth which resemble three black dots. It flies by lightly spinning its leaf. This Digimon is known as Lalamon. "You're so careless!"
"Hey, I got here as soon as I got your call, Yoshi," Marcus said.
"But I'd be surprised if you got here in time, Marcus," Thomas said as he stepping out, wearing the same kind of uniform, but it was more male. With him is a blue akita dog Digimon with black nose and claws, yellow eyes, a white belly, white neck fur, a white tail tip, feet tips, snout, inner ears, and a linear mark on their forehead that is depicted as either white or yellow. He wore a red bandana, with white bandages on his arms, and red, black, and white boxing gloves on his hands. This Digimon is Gaomon.
"Hey, I do more than ju-" Marcus was cut off by Furret.
"Furret! Fur, Furret, Furret!" Furret said.
"Comammder Sampson's Furret. Right away," Thomas said as Marcus stepped in.
A few moments later, Marcus wore his DATS uniform and and came in with his partner when the boy came in as well. With him is a great horned owl Digimon with a small, toothless beak, red eye markings, dark grey body feathers and purple chest feathers with shuriken markings resembling a ninja's vest. The tips of his brow feathers as well as his claws are purple while his tail feathers and the markings on the ends of his wings are red. This Digimon is Falcomon. Standing with Miki and Megumi are two PawnChessmon, but one with Miki is black and the one with Megumi is white. Furret stepped in along with a tall, muscular man with short black hair and wore a pair of sunglasses. He wore a blue a red coat. Resting on his shoulders is a mythological kuda-gitsune. He has small forelimbs, golden markings, a small Holy Cartridge attached to the end of his tail, and a Holy Ring for a collar. This Digimon is Kudamon.
"Now that everyone is here, we might as well get started," the man announced.
"Commander Sampson, sir, we all retrieved your message. I believe the Digital World is somehow involved," Thomas said.
"You would be right, Thomas. It has a lot to do with the Digital World. Miki, Megumi, if you please," Caommander Sampson said.
"We detected a lot of huge surges coming from the Digital World," Miki said.
"At first, they were minor, but it kept going up and up. Just this morning, we picked up a large one," Megumi said.
"What could have caused it?" Yoshino asked.
"We don't know," Megumi replied.
"But it'll get even worse if we leave it unchecked," Miki said.
"Well, if it's another fight we got on our hands, then we're gonna head in the Digital World and put a stop to it," Marcus said.
"Don't be stupid, Marcus! We don't know what we could be dealing with in there!" Yoshino said.
"Yoshi's right. It's too risky," Thomas said.
"Besides, we are needed here in case Digimon slip in without us knowing," Commander Sampson said.
"Yet, so far, there hasn't been a single sighting as of yet," Kudamon said.
"Furret, Fur," Furret said.
"What we do then?" Keenan asked.
"We wait," Commander Sampson said.
Back in the Digital World, Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, Tai, Matt, Sora T, Izzy, Mimi, Joe, TK, Davis, Ken, Yolei, Amy, Takuya, Koji, JP, Zoe, Tommy, Zach, Marina, Jason, Patrick, the Pokémon, and the Digimon continue to search for their missing friends a bunch of cobra-like Heartless appeared all around them. They are purple in color and they have the Heartless emblem on their hood, and they have a lavender underbelly. These Heartless shall be known as the Nasty Cobras.
"Out of the way, you!" Sora said, summoning his Kingdom Key as Kairi summoned her Destiny's Embrace. Riku, Naminé, Brendan, and May summoned their Keyblades as well. The Gnasty Cobras snapped at the Keyblade wielders as the Pokémon and Digimon helped out in the fight against them. They fought them off until the Gnasty Cobras were all destroyed, but then, they hear a voice speaking out.
"Well, you seem to reunite with some of your friends, but you aren't going to join up with the others," the voice said.
"What was that?" Jason asked.
"It's Orochimon. He must be close," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"I'm much closer than you think, humans," Orochimon said.
"Show yourself, you legless creep!" Sora said.
"As you wish!" Orochimon hissed as one of thr metal heads appeared as Brendan struck it. A couple more show up as Riku and May struck them. Orochimon himself shows up, grinning evilly. "But you should be careful for what you ask for."
"You think you can scare us off, Orochimon? You're gonna have to do a lot better than that!" Riku said.
"Oh, I don't plan on scaring you. I'm going to crush you all like overriped grapes! And once I'm done with you, I'll go find the others and do the same thing with them!" Orochimon said.
"If it's a fight you want, then you got one!" Agumon said.
"Yeah!" The other Digimon said.
"Hey, Wormmon, how about we do that one thing we haven't tried in a while?" Veemon suggested.
"You've been reading my mind," Wormmon said.
"How about you and I do it, too, Hawkmon?" Gatomon asked.
"That sounds like a great idea," Hawkmon said.
"What do you say, Patamon? You ready to rock like we used to?" Armadillomon asked.
"You know it!" Armadillomon said.
"Let's do this thing," Davis said.
"Yeah!" The other DigiDestined said.
"Let's get this party started!" Takuya said as he, Koji, JP, Zoe, Koichi, Zach, Marina, Jason, and Patrick took out their Digivices. Their Digivices shines brightly.
"Excecute!" Takuya and Koji shouted as the light around them shines brighter. "Fusion Evolution!"
"Execute!" JP, Zoe, Tommy, Koichi, Jason, and Patrick shouted. "Beast Spirit Evolution!"
"Execute!" Zach and Marina shouted. "Spirit Evolution!"
They all transformed into their Digimon forms.

He wears the latter's exoskeleton as armor on the thighs, arms and torso, and the "X" symbol can be partially seen. His face is concealed by a red and black helmet with a crest around the eyes. He has two pairs of wings and a pair of cannons are located on his lower midsection. "Paildramon!"

Aquilamon and Gatomon, "DNA Digivolve to..." They became a fusion of Aquilamon and Gatomon which has Gatomon's ears, and Aquilamon's legs, tailfeathers, and wingfeathers. The new Digimon wore a visors over the eyes. "Silphymon!"

Ankylomon and Angemon, "DNA Digivolve to..." They merged into a large robotic Digimon who resembles a clay statue, Shako Kidoguu. He has three clawed digits on each hand and angel wings on the back. "Shakkoumon!"

Sora, Kairi, and the other Keyblade wielders were awestruck by how ExVeemon, Stingmon, Gatomon, Aquilamon, Angemon, and Ankylomon combined with each other.
"I didn't know Digimon could do that," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said, at awe.
"Chu," Xipak said, awestruck.
"You got a lot to learn, Sora 2," Davis said.
"Now that the gang's all assembled, let's take this eight-headed freak down!" Crescemon said.
"I like how you think, Crescemon," Paildramon said with ExVeemon and Stingmon's talking at once.
"You might as well just try it," Orochimon dared his opponents. "Inferno Blast!" Orochimon spewed a powerful fire attack, sending it at the Digimon.
"Dark Reflection!" Mercurymon shouted as he raised his arms and absorbed the fire attack before sending it back at him. Orochimon dodged by ducking.
"Think you could hit me with my own attack? Think again," Orochimon said as he uses his tail to grab Mercurymon by the legs.
"Hey, let me go!" Mercurymon demanded.
"Okay!" Orochimon said, tossing Mercurymon to the side.
"Let's get this guy!" WereGarurumon said.
"You got it, WereGarurumon," Garudamon said.
"Wolf Claw!" WereGarurumon shouted.
"Wing Blade!" Garudamon shouted.
"Horn Buster!" MegaKabuterimon shouted.
"Flower Cannon!" Lillymon shouted.
"Vulcan's Hammer!" Zudomon shouted.
They each attacked a head and destroyed one. The heads then regenerate as fast as they were destroyed.
"Hey, you can't do that! That's not fair!" Max exclaimed.
"I don't play fair, shorty! No matter how often you destroy each of my heads, they're just going to keep on coming back, again and again!" Orochimon said.
"Mega Claw!" MetalGreymon shouted, extending his cyborg arm, hitting him.
"Let's each have a hit on him! Desperado Blaster!" Paildramon shouted, firing rapid fire lasers from his cannons.
"Static Force!" Silphymon shouted, hurling a red ball of energy at Orochimon.
"Justice Beam!" Shakkoumon shouted, firing red lasers from his eyes.
"Ice Archery!" Crescemon shouted, firing arrows of ice.
They each hit Orochimon's heads and destroyed them, only to regenerate again. Sora, Kairi, Riku, Naminé, Brendan, May, Pikachu, Angel, Eevee, Xipak, and Celeste attacked each of the heads and they regenerate again.
"Atomic Inferno!" Aldamon shouted, firing a barrage of fireballs at the heads and ends up with the same results.
"Cleansing Light!" BeoWolfmon shouted, attacking the heads, destroying them. They regenerate again. "This isn't working!"
"We gotta try harder!" Petaldramon said.
"Right!" MetalKabuterimon agreed. He aims at Orochimon. "Electron Cannon!"
Zephyrmon, "Hurricane Gale!"
Korikakumon, "Avalanche Axes!"
JaggerLoweemon, "Ebony Blast!"
Ranamon, "Draining Rain!"
Gigasmon, "Tectonic Slam!"
Petaldramon, "Leaf Cyclone!"
They each attacked Orochimon's heads, taking them out, only to regenerate again.
"You just don't get it, do you? No matter how many times you take them out, they just keep coming back," Orochimon said.
"Man, how are we going to beat his heads if they won't stay gone!" Sora said. He then, noticed something. He looked at the metal heads and then to the black head. He knew that head is the only one they didn't attack. This gives him an idea. "That's it!" Everyone looked at him.
"What's it?" May asked. Sora didn't answer her and rushed at Orochimon with his Keyblade out.
"I don't know what you think you're up to, but you're not going to win!" Orochimon said as the metal heads came down at Sora. He dodged each one of them and he ran up one of them. Sora then jumped toward the black head and slashed his Keyblade at Orochimon, making him roar in pain. Sora jumps back.
"What did you just do?" Aldamon asked.
"Guys, how about we just focus on that one head instead of all of the others?" Sora suggested.
"Prodigious! I see what Sora 2 is doing! He figured attacking the metal heads wasn't the answer, so he go for the black head! That must be the real head!" Izzy said.
"I agree! I don't know why I never thought of that!" Bokomon said.
"You never asked," Neemon said.
"Who asked you?" Bokomon asked, snapping his pants.
"Yeow!" Neemon yelped.
"You got lucky with that hit, but it doesn't mean you're gonna get the best of me again!" Orochimon said.
"He's right. We may know his weak spot, but he's going to be on to us, unless we distract him long enough. And one of us can finish him off once he's disoriented," Sora said.
"We'll do what we can to bring this legless caterpillar down," Garudamon said.
"Let's do this thing!" Kairi said as she gets on Garudamon's shoulders. "You don't mind a little company, do you, Garudamon?"
"Not at all, Kairi. You're more than welcome," Garudamon said.
"You plan to distract me? Your little strategy isn't going to work when I can hear everything that you're saying!" Orochimon said.
"Yeah, well, hear this! Your metal heads are ugly as sin!" Paildramon said.
"Choke on my fumes! Sake Breath!" Orochimon shouted, spewing a pinkish fume from his real head.
"Nobody breathes that in!" MetalGreymon said.
"Everyone, hold your breath!" Paildramon added.
Everyone took a deep breath as the fumes lumes over them. Mime Jr and Munchlax accidentally breathes it in when they couldn't hold it anymore. Mime Jr and Munchlax became tipsy. Kairi casts an aero spell, blowing the fumes away, allowing the rest of them to breathe. They look at Mime Jr and Munchlax.
"What's wrong with them?" Max asked.
"Are they okay?" Lisia asked.
"They're fine. They're just intoxicated from the fumes from Orochimon's Sake Breath," Bokomon said.
"Intoxicated? You mean-?" Lisia asked.
"Yeah, they're drunk from the fumes," Joe said.
"Well, that's just dandy," Amy said.
"You can't get near me!" Orochimon said as he sends his metal heads to attack the Keyblade wielders, the Pokémon, and the Digimon. "Inferno Blast!" Orochimon spewed a powerful fire attack from all eight heads. The Digimon were all hit by Orochimon's attack, allowing Sora to move freely until the flames have faded. "Time to finish you off once and for-" Orochimon saw Sora was missing. "Hey, where's the other one?"
"Right here!" Sora answered as Sora summoned the Light of the Triforce and crossed both Keyblades into an X. He slashed at Orochimon's black head, making him roar in agonizing pain.
"I...don't...believe...it!" Orochimon said as he fell forward. "Lord Devimon! Avenge me!" Orochimon dissolved into bits of data. Sora dismissed both Keyblades and panted as the Digimon reverted back to their previous forms.
"Orochimon's gone. That means one less pain to deal with," Tai said.
"Yeah, but Devimon's still out there, and he isn't going overlook this," TK said.
"TK's right. It's not over yet," Riku said.
Over to Devimon's lair, he had been watching the fight cloesly and he scowled.
"Orochimon was my strongest enforcer. I must come up with another strategy and soon," Devimon said.
How soon will Devimon make his next move? And what of the four Digimon that six of the Organizations members have resurrected? What purpose do they have? Find out as we continue on.
Originally, I planned for the characters of Digimon: Data Squad to appear in the epilogue and for Ai and Mako to have Impidimp and Hatenna appear in my main fic during the Galar arc, but I decided to accelerate that part just for the heck of it. Anyway, that'll be all for now, so stay tuned.
