The opening of the Underworld
Outside the Spade Kingdom castle, the giant Demon is consistently getting burned by Mereoleone.
"Wahahahaha! Is that all you got, Demon?!" Mereoleone with a mad grin on her face.
"What a phenomenal Mage! She defeated an ancient Demon...all by herself!" The divsion commander of the resistance force muttered with a shock expression on his face.
"I heard that she's the most powerful Mage when it comes to Mana-Skin and Mana-Zone….." Dämmerung commented as he remember the bit of information that Natch has been telling him and Liebe at times.
"I think she's enjoying roasting that Demon too much." Liebe commented whilst sweat dropping.
The two of them having been stationed outside in preparation in the case of something bad happening.
"Everyone." A voice spoke, causing everyone to turn their heads towards the direction of the voice to see a group of black-robed people approaching them.
"Ralph!" The division commander of the resistance said with a small smile on his head.
"Division Commander Albert." The now known Ralph said as he and the others stopped in front of the no known Albert and the other members of the resistance force.
"I'm glad that you're all right! So you met Natch as well then." Albert said in a relieved tone of voice.
"Yes. Master Yuno has become a skilled wind Mage. In appearance, he's the very image of Lady Ciel, and he/Hey, hey, hey!" Liebe said, cutting off Ralph.
"Hm?" Ralph said in a questioning tone of voice as he looked at the anti-magic Devil.
"Don't go and tell stuff in front of people from other Kingdoms about fully knowing one of their own people." Liebe said whilst glancing towards the other members of Ralph's group…..who didn't seemed to react in anyway, although they are staring at him.
"…..They know, do they?" Liebe asked in a blank tone of voice, making Ralph nod his head.
"Wind magic?" Albert thought, becoming slightly confuse.
"Still, with Master Yuno and the others, perhaps…." Albert thought again, starting to become slightly hopeful.
Throughout the Spade Kingdom castle, one of Natch's Devils has been obsering each battle, mainly the battles against the other two members of the Dark Triad before reappearing next to Natch and reported what he saw.
"I see. Our Kingdom's strongest Magic Knights to be even stronger than I'd anticipated." Natch commented before starting to frown.
"But where's the other ally of the Dark Triad? Desast is fighting against Kenzan and Espada, but where's Cupiditas?" Natch thought before shaking his head.
"Anyway, we still have ample of time before the gates to the Underworld opens." The vice-captain of the Black Bulls thought before focusing his attention back onto the battle in front of him.
"Hahahahaha! So, you're going to entertain me too?!" Dante questioned, his opinion on the captain of the Green Mantis changing.
"Shad-up! Just die already!" Jack responded as he kept on attacking the male member of the Dark Triad.
However, it was at that moment that an enormous pulse is felt.
"What is this feeling?!" Everyone thought before starting to gain mixed reactions.
Black roots started to spread throughout the Spade King castle.
"Enormous roots…...Qliphoth!" Natch muttered as he observe the spreading roots.
"Plumede!" Natch said as he deactivate his current Devil Union and fused with the now known Plumede
"Union Mode: Felis." Natch announced as he gained a more sleeker form.
"Shadow Magic: Heaven's Shadow Second Sight." Natch announced as his vision started to spread throughout the Spade Kingdom's castle until reaching the centre.
"At the site of the advent of Qliphoth, underground….I can sense magic besides Yami and Vangeance's!" Natch thought as he scanned the vast magic circle before spotting someone.
"Isn't that….Morris? The magic scholar who was exiled from the Dimond Kingdom?!" Natch thought, becoming surprised.
"Keh...Keh….Keh…..So even the arbitrary acts of eccentrics can sometimes be useful." Morris muttered in an excited tone of voice.
"Using the wisdom of the Heart Kingdom, I discovered a way to accelerate the Tree of Qliphoth!" Morris thought as he "stood" within the floating library of the Heart Kingdom Queen's knowledge.
"To think that, in exchanged of being blind, I'd been blessed with abilities like this. The abilities of a Devil host." Morris muttered as he removed his glassess, revealing that his eyes are black with red pupils which are joined by black markings.
"Through the power of a Devil and my magic, it was possible to extract and implant even Lolopechika's wisdom." Morris thought with a smile on his face.
"I don't know how it's being done, but is Morris acting as an accelerant for the gate?!" Natch thought, his eyes widening in shock as he observe was is about to happen.
"The first gate of the Underworld is openi-!" Natch began to warn Jack, but was prevented as two Devils suddenly appeared in the room, both of them possessing long wavy hair.
However, the one on the right has a male appearance with a half of a mask on the left side of his face along with a giant arm whilst the other has a female appearance with a mask on the right side of her face along with a giant arm as well.
Natch immediately moved whilst Jack got struck by an attack and Dante remained where he stood, as one of his horns got blown off as the two Devils released attacks.
"I missed." The male-looking Devil commented.
"I hit." The female-looking Devil commented, her attack having struck Jack.
"These two….they're Devils of the highest order!" Natch thought as he observe the two newly appeared Devils as his heart started to beat faster.
"Right now...it's all fun, isn't it?" The male-looking Devil questioned.
"Yes. It's so fun." The female-looking Devil commented as she and the other Devil giggled menacingly.
"Ghk…." Jack grunted as he attempted to break free from the ice that is trapping him on the wall.
With Natch, he started to feel his arm shaking slightly.
"Plumedge is scared." Natch noted before returning his attention back onto the two Devils.
"Two Devils of the highest order from the first layer of the Underworld, which is mapped to Qliphoth! I'd assumed their strength would be equal to the Dark Triad, but…." Natch began to thought before starting to dodge the fire and ice based attacks that the two Devils have started to launch, his Devil Union form helping him by giving him an increase in speed.
"They're on a completely different level!" Natch thought as he felt some of the attacks striking him.
"The Mana is delicious, isn't it, Lilith?" The male-looking Devil questioned to the now known Lilith.
"Indeed it is, Naamah." Lilith responded to the now known Naamah as the two of them starting to feel excited.
"These two are playing!" Natch exclaimed in his head, examine the two Devils behaviour.
"Hahahahaha! So the Dark Triad has managed to accelerate the ritual!" Cupiditas exclaimed with a wide smile on his face as he felt the black roots starting to absorb Mana.
It was at that moment that a wall of the Spade Kingdom castle collapsed and multiple Devils started to pour of it.
"And here we're are, the Devils are exiting the Underworld." Storious commented with a cruel smile on his face.
"And I presume that your alterations to the magic circle are taking effect?" Zoous questioned, making Storious nod his head.
"Of course. Do you doubt my skills?" Storious questioned, making Zoous shrug his shoulders slightly.
"And here they come…." Sebela thought as she and other members of the Sword of Logos, who are donning the powers of the Gladius Wonder-Ride book, observe Devils entering Wonder World through a black portal, like what Master Logos has predicted.
"Do not falter, Magic Knights! Slay these Devils that would harm the peace of Wonder World!" Sebela shouted as she raised Noroshi, making the surrounding Gladius's shout in agreement.
"Crush every single one of them." A new armoured figure said in a serious tone of voice as he slammed his three pronged trident onto the ground.
"Oho!" Mereoleone commented as she observe the incoming Devils.
"This feels like the magic back then." The former captain of the Crimson Lions thought, remembering the time within the Shadow Palace.
Mereoleone was about to face the Devils, but stop when she sensed something, causing her to glance over her shoulder and saw the giant Demon standing back up, seemingly all healed up.
"In other words….the fight starts for real now, hm?" Mereoleone commented with a grin on her face.
"I couldn't win…..at 70%….But….." Zenon thought as he started to sense a change in himself.
"It's over, Zenon!" Yuno exclaimed as he released a powerful attack. "A worthy effect, but no." Zenon responded simply.
"Urk." Vanica grunted as her body twitched slightly.
"…..Lady Vanica…..?" Joyeues asked, tilting her head to the side slightly.
"The first gate….the barrier that makes our contracts with the Devils incomplete….just opened!" Dante explained with a grin on his face just as his plus his sibling's Devil powers greatly increased to their full 100%, along with changing their appearance.
"Sorry to disturb you when your lying down...but come and fight me a while longer!" Dante said as he raised a hand before using his gravity magic to drag Jack out of the wall.
"Hahahahaha! Let's get this battle more bloody!" Vanica exclaimed with a wide smile on her face.
"You to as well, Joyeues." The Devil host of Megicula added, making the cursed swords-woman of steel to nod her head in response.
"Hmmm. Maybe I should add one more to the party…." Vanica thought before giggling slightly.
"What is going on?!" Espada said as her body shudder due to the dark aura that is suddenly filling the atmosphere.
"What do you think? The first gate of the Underwork has been opened and Devils are entering into the human world." Desast responded as he felt the Demonic Mana coming from the female Dark Disciple increasing.
"But Vice-Captain Natch said that we have more time until the first gate opens." Kenzan said as her Ki reading became crazy.
This cause Desast to shrug his shoulders slightly.
"Don't know. Maybe they learned a method of accelerating the ritual." Desast responded before raising his sword.
"Now. Let's continue our battle, shall we? It could be our final battle." Desast said, a cruel smile appearing on his face.
With the fight against Zenon, Yuno, Langris, Buster and Slash, the four of them are getting pushed back by whip-like appendages that the male member of the Dark Triad has created.
"What the hell just happened? How did Zenon's Devil power gained an increase in power!" Buster thought as he used his gauntlets to protect himself from the whip-like appendages.
"All that damage that Yuno managed to inflicted on him, it's all gone!" Slash thought as he used his cannons to blast the whip-like appendages away from him, but the swordsman of sound is able to move forwards due to the speed and regenerative ability of Zenon's bone magic.
"You're victory….was a fragile, fleeting dream. You will be the ones to die." Zenon said in a cold tone of voice.
"Don't worry though, you'd have nowhere to return to in any case." Zenon explained, causing all four Clover Kingdom Magic Knights to become shock.
"What do you mean by that?" Yuno asked, starting to gain a bad feeling.
Back at the Clover Kingdom, a second Demon has appeared out of nowhere all of the Magic Knights that have remained within the kingdom and are attempting to stop it, but to no luck.
Kaiser and members of the Purple Orca attempted to halt the Demon's advancement.
"Whilst Captain Kaiser and the rest of the Purple orcas is stopping it, evacuate the citizens!" Pell shouted as she and other Magic Knights helped the citizens flee the Royal Capital.
Unfortunately, the Demon didn't seemed fazed by the Purple Orca's attempt before preparing to attack.
"GHHHHHHHAAAAAAA! Stop that thing!" Augustus ordered from his position within the Royal Capital.
"Cherry Blossom Magic: Magic Cherry Blossom Blizzard/Mist Magic: Transcient Illusion." Both Kirsch and Nebra announced their spells, hoping that their spells would block the Demon's vision.
However, the Demon launched its attack.
"Water Magic: Wrath of the Sea Serpent." Solid announced, creating a water-made snake which he then launch forwards.
Solid's attacks struck the Demon's attack, but it caused the attack to change direction, striking another part of the Royal Capital.
"Dammit! With the magic that I trained for half a year….all I can do is turn it's trajectory!" Solid muttered, becoming annoyed.
"It's magic power is on another level…." Solid thought again, gritting his teeth just as the Demon launched another attack.
As the Demon's attack got closer to the Royal Capital, it suddenly began to shrink….if just barely.
"It has too much magic power! It's not enough to neutralize it." A healed, yet still marked, Damnatio thought, him having used his magic in the attempt to lower the Demon's magic, but with little success.
At that moment, a spell made the attack disappeared.
"That magic…." A fleeing citizen muttered before glancing towards the source of the Mana.
"Wizard King! It is the Wizard King!" Another feeling citizen said in a shock tone of voice as she and the others become relieved at the presence of an…...older Julius?
"I aged my body my body 10 years ahead." Julius thought with a frown on his face.
"There is a limit in time and power, but if I work with Damnatio, then we may have the chance to weaken the Demon enough to fully destroy it." Julius thought, hoping that their plan would work.
"Right now!" Damnatio ordered, making Julius nod his head before performing another spell on one of the Demon's arms.
"Give me power! Once more!" Julius shouted in his head, fully concentrating on the opponent in front of him and the Magic Knights.
However, it was at that moment that Julius's ageing spell deactivated, returning him to his child-like form.
"The time….How come?! That was too quick!" Julius thought, becoming shock.
Whilst everyone else saw the sudden change, they couldn't properly see the exact appearance of Julius.
Regaining control over it's body, the Demon began to charge another attack.
"Is this…..it?" Julius thought, starting to become hopeless.
However, it was at that moment that something resembling a beam of light struck one of the Demon's arms with enough force to cause it's aim to change, resulting in the attack missing the Royal Capital.
"W-what just happened?!" Julius muttered, his eyes widening as he and everyone else watched as the beam of light heading towards the Royal Capital….before being caught by a black armoured warrior.
"Heh. Just made it." Saikou commented in a pleased tone of voice just as Saikou Shadow held the sword of light in a vertical positioned.
"Was that your doing?!" A voice called, causing Saikou Shadow to turn just as a few Magic Knights approached "him".
"Yes, that is correct." Saikou responded, causing the Magic Knights to become surprise at how the eyes of the armoured knight on the sword of light glowed.
"Hang on a minute…..are you Saikou? Mimosa did mentioned about encountering a swordsman whose sword can talk." Klaus asked, him being one of the few gathered Magic Knights, making Saikou Shadow to nod it's head in a robotic manner.
"Indeed. But let's focus on the main issue as of now." Saikou responded as he returned his attention back onto the Demon who is recovering from his attack.
"Just what is that Demon? It looks like the one from the legends of the first Wizard King." Nebra commented, staring at the Demon with a slight fearful expression on her face.
"Whilst it is the same type of Demon, this is a different Demon than the one from the stories. This one originated from the Spade Kingdom." Saikou responded, causing the gathered Magic Knights to become curious.
"Long ago, in the Spade Kingdom, there were two royal youths who were closed friends along with each possessing phenomenally strong magic. However, at some point in time, their affection turned into hatred and they became Demons, their transformation being the result of their malice and the powers of the Underworld. They fought and were eventually managed to get sealed away. The house of Grinberryall, with the aid of another family, held the responsibility of guarding the two Demons. It would seem that the Dark Triad managed to wake them up to distract us. The other Demon will likely be at the Spade Kingdom castle." Saikou explained the story.
"So how are you going to slay this Demon? It would seem that it is capable of absorbing Mana through it's wings, strengthening it greatly." Kirsch questioned, causing Saikou to stare at him.
"…...What do you mean by how I'm going to slay the Demon? This is a team effort." Saikou responded in a blank tone of voice.
"We are dead." The gathered Magic Knights thought whilst sweating.
With the Demon, it fully recovered and was about to launch a new attack, but it was immediately attacked again.
And there we go, the first gate of the Underworld has opened, resulting in Devils to enter the human world/Wonder World whilst the first two of the Qliphoth Devils have appeared and Saikou has made his return. So who do you think that struck the Demon?
In Gavv:
1) Dente commented on Hanto being able to use the powers of the Gochizos along with having a Granute organ implanted within him, saying that no human could have come up with an idea and that it could have been a Granute instead. At Hapipare, Sachika brought a Buche de Noel that she made, which Shoma enjoyed the taste before askig if he could make a cake himself. At Stomach Co, Lango brought a new employee to Neylv, who went on to perform surgey on him, before being approuched by Glotta who commented on Shita and Jeebh, yet Lango isn't fussed about them renting out their anger, saying that he can procced with his plans from behind the scenes. With Hanto, he's been wondering about posting a article about the Granutes, but overheard people already talking about "Kamen Rider" before seeing an article about a missing person.
2) With Shoma and Sachika, they had a chaotic time whilst baking the cake, whilst his Gochizos are searching the city, before Sachika had to leave for a job. Meanwhile, Hanto, who has been searching for a musician-desguised Granute, managed to locate him and the two of them fought before commenting how he had been kiddnapping humans for 20 years. With Shoma, he was prepared to help Valan, but was dragged away by a Agent where he used his newly created Bushel Gochizo to defeate them before getting confronted by Shita and Jeebh who transformed into their monster forms and fought Shoma/Gavv, easily managing to overpower him.
So there we go, Shoma/Gavv showing his new Buche de Noel-based form and with Dente, he brought up some interesting points whilst talking about Hanto's benefactor and commenting how Shoma may have some missing memories when he commented how he felt strange whe seeing the photo of Hanto's mother.
Just to let you be aware, I'll be away next week, so there will be delay until the next update.
Dragstorm Rider:
1) Yep, the new forms that each Rider certainly make the battles for interesting.
2) I suppose that it makes sense for Asta's Grimoire to undergo a transform only when he wields Xross-Saber.
Red Reader Knight: Yep, the battles are starting to go uphill from this point onwards.
Akira: From the look of things, more players are joining the battle.
