July 12, 1999
I was back in my home country, the United Kingdom of England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

I was here to deliver a lecture about the multiverse at Cambridge University tomorrow.

Senator Feinstein's office and the State Department coordinated with the UK Government for my travel and lodging plans. I spent ten hours on a direct flight from SFO to Heathrow Airport in London.

After landing, I went to customs and there some government officials awaited. One of them was there, just wearing slacks and a short and a tie. Blond hair covered his head.

"I am Jonathan Reed," he introduced himself. "I am coordinating your temporary return to us for Her Majesty's Government."

"Pleasure to meet you," I replied.

Mr. Reed and his team escorted me to a black limousine which would take me from London to Cambridge. Soon we left the airport and was on a motorway. I was tired and dozed off as we traveled the countryside.

The limo reached the town of Cambridge and dropped me off at this nice-looking hotel, like what you'd find in upscale neighborhoods of London or San Francisco. I went to the front desk, and went through the typical procedure of producing my ID and then going to my room.

I tipped the bellboy. I was too tired to even read the notes for my lecture at Cambridge University tomorrow.

I only hope I memorized enough by reading them on that 747 that flew me here.
