Hadrian's Pov

When the sun came up, I made my way downstairs and into the kitchen, when there was a frantic knock on the backdoor, I frowned and made my way over and unlocked it and opened it. I saw Edward.

"What's wrong?"

"You know what I told you, that some of my family have special powers?" He asked, I frowned and shook my head.

"Vaguely, why?"

"Well, Alice can see the future, she saw Bella returning to Forks in two days." I frowned again.

"So, you seem to be panicking, so what's the problem?" he sighed.

"Will we be able to get everything sorted in time for her returning?" I nodded a slow nod.

"Do you want to come inside? I'll place a call into the Ministry this morning, besides, it looks like the sun is going to be out again today." Edward nodded with a chuckle.

"I know, why do you think that I am here so early? I don't want to wake anyone though." I heard Remus' heartbeat before he entered the kitchen.

"Too late for that, I felt the change in the wards." Remus said as he moved over to the counter to turn the kettle on

"Sorry Mr Lupin." Edward apologised, Remus waved a hand at him.

"Don't worry about it, I've always been a light sleeper, it comes with being a werewolf, and my senses are on high alert since a member of our pack is away at the moment." Remus explained "You don't need to stand outside on my account, come in, After I've made my tea, we'll place that call in for you." Edward nodded and stepped further into the kitchen, so that I could close the back door.

"Do you want a blood pop?" Edward looked at me and gave a slow nod.

"Yeah, I could do with a bit of a top up." I nodded and moved over to the counter next to Remus, who was stirring the sugar into his tea. I reached up into the cupboard and pulled two blood pops out of a disguised box at the back of the cupboard. I then turned and handed one to Edward, who took it with a nod and a smile. "We gave one of these to Jasper when we got back last night, he was very grateful and thinks he will be able to manage better at the school too."

"I'm glad I was able to help, I'll sent my contact a message to increase the shipment they send me, then I'll pass them along until he no longer needs them." Edward nodded and placed the blood pop into his mouth.

"I think the Twins will be quite happy to hear from you, considering they are potentially opening a shop in Seattle, in the Wizarding district." Remus commented, turning and holding a mug full of tea in his hands. I frowned in his direction

"How did you know that? They haven't even mentioned that to me and I'm their silent partner."

"I think it was around that time they and everyone else thought you were dead, the twins said they wanted to be close to support us in our time of grieve." Remus explained with a smirk, I groaned

"Do they know this address?" Remus smirked and walked out of the kitchen

"Who are the Twins and why does it seem like it's a bad thing that they know this address?" Edward asked, I sighed.

"The Twins are called Fred and George Weasley-"

"Wait… they are related to the one that tried to kill you?" Edward interrupted

"Yes, older twin brothers, who see me as family more than their own family and would do anything to help me, so them thinking I was dead and not telling them I was alive before the paper is a bad thing."

"Dare I ask why?"

"Two words Prank. War."

"huh?"

"So, because I didn't tell them I was alive before the papers did, they will prank me for a few days, maybe a week, but then they know after a week I will return the pranks ten-fold, and they give."

"So really, they should watch out for your pranks?" I grinned but then frowned as I heard the Floo go off.

"Hadrian, Edward." Remus called. We stood up and made our way into the living room, only to see a woman stood there dressed in robes. She had dark hair cut into a bob, pale skin and green eyes.

"Hello, my name is Madam Winter, Auror Bentham has informed me of your situation before he went on leave, and I have received approval from our Minister to perform the memory charm on the No-Maj, do we know when she will be returning?" Madam Winter asked.

"My sister, in our coven has the gift of foresight, she has seen that Bella will be returning in two days' time." Edward answered, Madam Winter nodded.

"Would you be able to get her here? I will be able to perform the charm on her myself." She said.

"Could we say she was part of our science project? That we were placed in a group together while she was away?" I looked up at Edward, he looked down and nodded

"That's a good idea, we could meet up afterschool here." Edward agreed. Madam Winter nodded

"Very good, Mr Lupin, if you could floo us before they arrive that would be great." She asked directed at Remus, who nodded.

"Of course."

"Then unless there is anything else, I will take my leave." As she turned to head to the Floo, I called out.

"Sorry, before you go, there's just something I want to ask." She turned back to me

"Yes?"

"I was just wondering, I know I'm registered with the American ministry as a vampire, would I have to register with the Volturi as well?"

"The Volturi manage the No-Maj vampires, as you are a wizard you register with us, The Volturi have been made aware already that you have moved to this town, by us, because your mate is part of the Coven they have flagged with us." Madam Winter explained rolling her eyes are the end.

"Flagged them? Why?"

"Because the Volturi is under some ridiculous idea that all vampires should drink human blood." Madam Winter answered, I looked at Edward

"And you wanted me to present myself to them?" I raised an eyebrow at him, he shrugged his shoulders

"We thought you had to, before I met you, I didn't know any different." Edward Commented

"We at the Ministry disagree with the Volturi's views, and as of yesterday the Cullen Coven is under the protection of the American Ministry for Magic."

"What does that mean?" Edward asked.

"Since you, Mr Cullen, are the Mate of Lord Hadrian Potter-Black, you and your family are protected under the Magical mate Clause, which means that the Volturi no longer has dealings with you, any issues or problems that arise to do with your coven, come straight to us at the Ministry." Madam Winter explained. I saw Edwards eyes go wide from the corner of my eyes.

"So, what happens if the Volturi try and contact us? Or try and come to visit at the house?" Edward asked

"I can add a ward around your house that would alert us to their presence if they were to turn up, if they try and contact you, you send a missive via Lord Potter-Black and we will respond accordingly, the Volturi will be informed of these changes, and they must follow the rules or they have to deal with the Ministry which could involve them losing their power or lives depending on the level of threat they put against you." Madam Winter shrugged.

"Edward, you should probably inform Carlisle about this before he sends off his missive for the Volturi." Edward nodded

"Yeah, I should probably go tell them, thank you for your help, Madam Winter." Edward said, Madam Winter nodded her head, he then gave me a quick peck on the cheek before dashing out the back door.

"I should get back to the Ministry, I will see you both in two days." Madam Winter said and stepped into the Floo and disappeared through the flames.

"Well, this could all be sorted in a few days." Remus commented, I nodded and sat down on the sofa next to him.

"Yeah, at least it will be a relief on their part, and then I'll get to freely pursue my mate."

"Or it could be the other way round." Remus stated, I chuckled

"Yeah, it could." Just then I heard Teddy start crying

"Well, I'm surprised he stayed asleep this long." Remus commented as he got to his feet and headed upstairs.
