Chapter 1: Lost and Found
Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage, stood in shock as he watched the Nine-Tails Fox slice his newborn son's eyes. How could everything turn out so bad, today was supposed to be a great day. Today was the day his first child was born but then the masked man came and ruined everything. First he takes Naruto hostage to get his hands on his wife Kushina Uzumaki, then the man unseals the Nine-Tails from Kushina and uses the damned Fox to attack Konoha. After chasing away the the masked man, Minato made his way to the fox and used his 'Hiraishin' to teleport the beast out of the village and into the forest surrounding Konoha.
Not many knew it but the Hiraishin Technique was a Kekei Genkai originally possesed by the Second Hokage, Tobirama Senju, who later had a son with a blond haired women before he died in the Second Great Shinobi War. The son who would take the Namikaze clan name from his mother and would later on become the father of Minato Namikaze before dying in battle while on a mission, never awakening his bloodline.
Minato was busy drawing a seal around a crib on the ground, when he got distracted from an attack by the Nine-Tails causing him to write the wrong symbol on the ground accidentally changing the effect of the seal. When Minato finished the seal he teleported to his wife and son and took them to the alter, placing the babe in the crib and started activating the seal but was again interrupted when the Fox jammed his fist towards his son, Naruto, intending to impale the baby with his claws but both Minato and Kushina jumped in the way taking the brunt of the blow but unfortunaly the Nine-Tails still had enough strength to reach the boy's eyes, thus blinding him,
Minato pushed back his tears and finished his handseals, summoning the Death God and sealing the Fox in his son, not realizing that the symbol he wrote wrong would not only stop the Fox from influencing Naruto's emotions but also seal away most of Naruto's emotions, not allowing the boy to experience his emotions as strongly as he should. After the fox was sealed Minato sealed the remaining chakra he and his wife had left into their son.
4 years later
Hiruzen Sarutobi, The Third Hokage, was not having a good day. After the death of his successor the Fourth, Hiruzen had to take back the mantle of Hokage to reign in the chaos the village was experiencing. However, because he was so busy he was unable to keep an eye on Minato's son as he promised the blond man, but today he didn't have much work so he decided to visit the boy in the orphanage and perhaps take him out to stroll around the village. When he got to the orphanage however he discovered that the blond was not there, upon further investigation he found that the Matron had kicked the boy out onto the streets what's worse is the boy was kicked out around 2 months ago.
The man had gone into a rage and killed the women when he found out. Afterwards he called all available ANBU to search for the boy he promised, and failed, to protect.
6 years later
All the five year old Naruto Uzumaki could feel was pain as he's non-seeing eyes stared at the pale man with long dark greenish hair and yellow slit-pupiled eyes. As the man conducted another test on the boy all Naruto could think about was how he got into this situation. It's been about 6 years now, if he remember correctly, it was hard to tell while being tortured and experimented on. About 6 years ago the orphanage he was staying at kicked him out, calling him a demon and telling him he had no place amongst the children.
When he was kicked out, Naruto decided to try and find a place to live, though it was hard for a blind 4 year old to make his way around a village. Eventually he walked into a tall man with pale skin, long dark hair and yellow eyes. The man kneeled down and helped the boy up.
"Well hello their little one. What are you doing, walking alone through the streets at this hour .
"I was chased away from the orphanage." The blond boy explained, no emotion showing on his face.
"I see. Well my name is Orochimaru, what's yours?" The man asked.
"My name is Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto replied.
'Naruto, huh?' Orochimaru wondered curiously, recognizing the boy as Minato and Kushina's son. 'Perhaps I could turn him loyal to me. If he's anything like his mother and father then he will definitely be an invaluable asset. If not I can just use him as an experiment.'
"Well I doubt you have a place to stay, so why don't you come live with me for now?" The man asked and chuckled when he saw the small boy consider his offer.
Thinking about the offer for a second, Naruto finally nodded his head. It's not like he had anything to lose anyway, but he could never have thought just how wrong he was.
Everything was fine for the first month of living with the Snake Sannin. Orochimaru was kind to him and taught him may things. That was until his bloodlines made it's self known, when Naruto was nurturing a dying houseplant it suddenly came to life and grew almost twice as big as it was before, unfortunaly for the blond a wide eyed Orochimaru observed this miracle and rushed to the boy to grab him. Naruto, startled by the arms suddenly wrapping around his arms unconsciously flared his chakra and the next thing he knew, he was free of the pale man's grip.
After that incident, Orochimaru placed a seal on Naruto so he could not travel too far from him and the blond locked away in a cell, only taking him out when he wanted to experiment on the boy. Every day Orochimaru would either cut Naruto open and analyze the boys cells, trying to find a way to give himself the blond's bloodlines and on other days Orochimaru had Naruto practice his abilities.
On one of these days Naruto found that teleporting was not is only ability, but rather he could stop and even turn back time, not by much but he was certain he could go back further and stop time for longer if he trained and pushed his power to the limit. However he had to make certain Orochimaru would never find out about this ability, even with the limit of his emotions Naruto hated to think about what would happen if the snake found out.
For 6 years Naruto endured the tortured of being cut up and put back together, during these 6 years Orochimaru told Naruto of who his parents were and that the Fox was sealed inside him. Although Naruto didn't show it but the knowledge of who his parents were and that they loved and trusted him, strengthened his resolve. For 6 years Naruto held out for hope of finding a way to escape from the snake summoner, for hope of someone hearing his screams of pain and come to safe him but day after day his hope grew smaller.
Currently Naruto was on his knees in the cell Orochimaru placed him in all those years ago, his arms shackled to a chain connected to a wall and glaring up at the chuckling snake. All Naruto was wearing was the same pair of ragged purple pants he's been wearing for the past year, he's hair has grown long enough reach the middle of his back and is a dark brown color from all the dirt it's built up over time. Naruto's skin was pale and riddled with scars both from Orochimaru cutting him up and from the many times Orochimaru had him fight against his summons and other subjects. Naruto was rather fit as Orochimaru, thankfully, wanted his experiment strong and healthy. All in all if it wasn't for Naruto's blue dead eyes and smaller frame, he would have looked exactly like the Snake Summoner.
"My my Naruto, quite the intimidating stare you have there. It might have even scared me if you could actually see where you were staring at." The man joked.
Naruto didn't respond, his glare only deepening as he felt Ororchimaru's grin getting bigger as he walked closer to the blond.
"Anyway, I think you'll be happy to know that I'm taking that seal off. I'm planning checking in on my other lab and I can't have you dying because I passed the seal's maximum distance." The Snake summoner said as he placed a hand on Naruto's stomach and channeled some chakra, removing the restriction seal he placed on the boy.
"That curse mark though will have to stay though, I can't have you forgetting who you belong to." Orochimaru said as he walked off, closing the cell door and leaving the blond alone in the cold, dark, damp room.

The life of Hiruzen Sarutobi could not have been worse. First his wife dies in the Nine-Tails rampage, then he lost Minato's son after promising to protect the boy, next his first son and heir to the Sarutobi Clan dies on an ANBU mission and now he is on his way to arrest his student Orochimaru the legendary Snake Sannin. After investigating reports of missing persons cases, he traced all the back crimes back to Orochimaru. He hated to thinks that one of his beloved students would fall so far from his teachings but at the same time he hoped that he found Naruto in one of Orochimaru's lairs.
After receiving a report of one of his ANBU stating that Orochimaru left one of his labs and is making his way to anotherone, the old Hokage immediately called for his ANBU and geared up for combat. Arriving at one of the Snake's many labs, Hiruzen ran in with some of his most trusted ANBU. What he found would have made him vomit if not for his many battles and experience. Rushing through the hallways, Hiruzen and his team finally arrived in the room Orochimaru was inhabiting.
"Orochimaru!" Sarutobi yelled at the pale man standing at the other end of the room.
"Oh, well it seems like the act's up, huh Sarutobi-Sensei?" Orochimaru laughed as he turned around. "So many people just to capture little old me, I'm honored. It's a shame though, I had two very promising subjects, Tenzo here is one of them. I actually managed to implant the Mokuton into him using the other subjects cells." Orochimaru explained, grinning at the older man's shocked face.
"Yes, I actually managed to get my hands on a natural born Mokuton wielder, can you believe it. It's someone you know actually. You've been searching for him for quite some time now, come say his name with me. Na-ru-to." The man said laughing manically at the old man's angered face.
"What have you done, Orochimaru. Where did I go wrong with. How did you turn into this monster?" Said the weary voice of Sarutobi.
"Don't flatter yourself Sensei. No action you took turned me into who I am today. I simply desire to grow stronger. Now, I would love to chat further but if I wish to successfully escape from the village with all my limbs intact I'll have to go. Tell Naruto I'll be back for him soon." Orochimaru said as he tapped his foot on the ground, a hole opening beneath him long enough to fall through before closing again.
Processing Orochimaru's words, Hiruzen quickly made his way to the lab Orochimaru was in before moving to the current one. However before he left the room, he ordered some of his ANBU to take the man named Tenzo, who looked to be around Itachi's age, to the hospital.

Sarutobi made his way through Orochimaru's lair, the sound of his heart beat ringing in his ears as he opened all the doors he passed. If Orochimaru was telling the truth then Naruto will be locked behind any one of these doors. The boy he's been looking for, for 6 years. And that same boy is now believed to wield the Mokuton, that only one other person in known history has wielded. He could not imagine the horrors that his old student has inflicted upon the boy. If the cut up bodies in the other rooms were any indications, he would be surprised if Naruto still looked human after all these years.
So lost in thought Hiruzen only now realized that he was standing outside the last door, slowly placing his wrinkled hand on the door handle, he turned it and carefully pushed the door open when heard it click. Looking into the dark room, Sarutobi saw it was a cell room. Walking in he looked into every cell, behind every bar was either an empty room or a decaying corps. Ignoring all the rooms he passed, he made his way to the end of the room where he heard the sound of rattling chains.
"Who's there? You're not Orochimaru." Came a quite, dry voice from the dark cell.
"N-Naruto. Is that you my boy?" The old Hokage asked.
"Who are you? Where's Orochimaru?" Naruto asked.
"He's gone, Naruto. We chased him away and he's not coming back anytime soon." Hiruzen answered.
"I...see. So it's finally over now. After all these years, it's finally over." Naruto said, the grief and pain in his voice making Hiruzen tear up.
"It is my boy. Now let's get you out of here and take you to the hospital." Hiruzen assured, using a jutsu to blast the cell door open.
"Wait. There's something I have to do first." the blond replied after Hiruzen freed him from his chains.
Nodding his head, Sarutobi helped the boy up before following him into a room connected to the cell room. Looking around, Hiruzen noticed that the room was full of notes of written about Naruto and the experiments conducted on him. Reading through the files explaining the abilities Naruto was granted through his bloodlines, Hiruzen couldn't help but feel curious about what his student managed to find.
The third Hokage snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the sound of glass being broken. Looking over at the blond, he saw Naruto smashing glass containers of what seemed like human flesh and blood. He instantly realized that it belonged to the blond and that the boy wanted them destroyed. Walking over to the boy, Hiruzen placed a hand on his shoulder.
"I'll burn it with a Fire Jutsu. Just stand back a bit." Hiruzen said and once the blond took a few steps back Sarutobi went through a few handseals before yelling out, "Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu"
Turning back to the boy Hiruzen asked, "Is that all Naruto?"
"It is. All that's left now is this." The blond replied while holding up a scroll. "This holds all the files Orochimaru has on me and everyone he tested my cells on. Seeing as you saved me I'm hoping that it will be safe in your hands until it reaches the Hokage. Please don't make me regret this decision, I'd hate to have to rectify it."
The conviction in which Naruto threatened, scared Sarutobi more than he would like to admit. He knew he could win in a fight against the boy if it came to it, but the boy's voice sounded too broken for his age, a voice he only heard in shinobi who fought in the frontlines of the Shinobi Wars.
"There won't be any need for that my boy. You just handed it to the Hokage yourself." Hiruzen replied, silently chuckling at the slight widening of the blond's eyes.
"I... apologize Hokage-Sama." Naruto said, bowing as deep as his body would allow before it started to hurt.
"No need to bow Naruto-kun. But tell me, why do you trust me enough to hand me all the files Orochimaru has on you." Hiruzen asked, raising an eyebrow.
Hesitating for a moment, the blond finally decided to explain, "Because Orochimaru has complained about you many times through the years. He thinks of you as an enemy and as far as I'm concerned, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. And if I want to pay that damned snake back for everything he's done to me, I'm going to have to make as much friends as possible."
"I see. Well then if that's all, let's make our way to the hospital." Sarutobi stated before wrapping his arm around the boy's shoulder and using the Bodyflicker technique.

Watching the sleeping blond in the hospital bed, only one though went through the Third Hokage's head, 'I promise you Minato, Kushina. I'll protect you're son with my life.'
Well that's the first chapter. Tell me what you think. I feel like I have to elaborate on Naruto's emotions, he can still express them but he's basically an Aburame with the amount he allows people to see. I'll explain how Naruto's Space-Time manipulation bloodline works in the next Chap, but his Mokuton bloodline is exactly the same as Canon. If you have any questions then please ask ahead.
