Chapter 1: Leaving the Future

Not Too Distant Future

"Don't stop! Keep running!" A woman yells.

Several footsteps can be heard as a large group are making their way through a tunnel as an older woman is leading them. The group continues to run until finally reaching the end of the tunnel.

"What now?!" A young woman's voice asks.

The older woman smirks as she taps on several bricks in certain order. After touching the bricks, the wall begins to split down the middle, revealing a dark room to the rest of the group.

"Let's move it!" The older woman orders just as loud booms are heard on the surface. The group walks into the room as the door closes. The older woman claps her hands, turning the light on in the room. White walls surround the room with several different machinery and inventions across the room. The older woman smiles as she ties her thick pink hair, pulling her goggles over her golden eyes. The woman is Mei Midoriya, CEO and President of Hatsume Industries.

"Mom, what are we doing down here? We should be up there, helping dad!" A young man with thick green hair like his father and golden eyes like his mother. Mei smiles at her son and cups his face.

"We have to keep you all safe, Michio. You're the ones who will secure the future for everyone." Mei turns around and goes to a machine that is covered with a tarp. Removing the tarp lets the rest of the group look at a large machine. Mei begins to push buttons on the control panel, turning the machine on.

"Um, what is that?" A brown haired, green eyed teen girl asks.

"Mom, you can't be serious!" Michio Midoriya shouts, earning a smirk from his mother.

"Don't worry, I fixed my baby's bugs." Mei grins as the machine fully powers on.

"Okay, but what is it?!" A black haired boy asks.

"It's something me and my mom were working on. It's a time machine." Michio answers his brother.

"A TIME MACHINE!?" Everyone shouts. Before Mei could answer, a very loud crash was heard right above them. The lights in the lab begin to flicker as dust begins to drop from the ceiling.

"Mei, are you there?" A deep voice calls out. Mei's eyes widen as she replies.

"Izuku, I'm here!"

"I'm sorry, I can't stop them. I failed." Izuku says, almost sounding out of breath.

"What about the rest? What happened to them?" Mei's questions are met with silence. That gives her the answer to her questions.

"They'll be there in no time. You have to send them, NOW!"

"I'm sending them right now."

With Izuku

Izuku listens to his wife, holding in his tears. Looking at his surroundings, he can't help but grit his teeth. Mustafa is in ruins. Nothing left but rubble. Just then, he sees 7 figures slowly approaching.

"Mei, you have to go with them." Izuku orders her.

"No! I'm not leaving you alone." Izuku smiles as his thoughts go back to 12 specific people and his kids. The figure's shadows loom over him but he continues to smile.

With Mei

Mei lets her tears fall as the kids all begin to sob or tear up. Finally, the machine is fully powered. She quickly puts the time she wants to send them. 21 years in the past.

"Kids, I want you to know that I love you all. Your mothers all loved you, more than anything in the world. Mei, I love y–" Izuku's last words weren't heard but everyone knew what they were. Just as his communication was cut off, the brown haired girl falls to her knees and sobs.

"Ozumi, you have to get up. You have to be strong." Mei gently tells her.

"How can I? Mom and Dad are gone and so are the rest." Ozumi whispers.

"You have to be strong because I'm leaving you in charge." Ozumi's eyes widen in shock. Before she can question Mei, the entrance to the lab begins to shake. Mei's eyes widen as she turns to the kids.

"Everyone, go now! Remember, find your father and the rest of us. Warn them before they can grow anymore powerful." Mei practically shoves them but not before looking at her son. "I love you, Michio. Out of all my inventions, you were my greatest creation. Give this to Principle Nezu and stay safe."

"Mo–" Michio yells as Mei shoves him through the portal. Mei smiles as she turns the machine off. A loud crash takes her attention as she turns around to find the door to the lab ripped in half.

"Lookie here boss, the last of his dumb wives is here." A deep voice surrounds the lab. Mei's eyes widen in horror as 13 shadows begin to loom over her. Taking a step back, Mei reaches down under the machine, pressing a button that starts a timer.

"Those brats aren't here." A woman's voice comes from one of the shadows.

"You won't find them. Knowing them, you won't bring harm to this world again." Mei smirks. The woman laughs before smacking Mei across the room, slamming her into the ground. Mei slowly lifts herself up, keeping the smirk on her face. Wiping some blood from the edge of her mouth. The woman looks over the machine, seeing it read 21 years.

"That bitch! She sent those brats back into the past!"

"That's impossible!" Another voice shouts. Just then, the timer on the machine finally hits zero.

"Wai-" The woman's voice was cut off by the machine's self destruction. The blast send everyone back, all except one. Mei hisses in pain, her right side almost burned to a crisp. Hears loud footsteps, Mei looks up to find two yellow glowing eyes glaring at her. Another pair of footsteps takes her attention, seeing a man with white robs and a bald head smiling gently at her.

"Not to worry, comrades. I have a simple solution thanks to my master, All For One." Mei's eyes widen at the mention of the name.

"Thanks to his gift, I can send my consciousness to the past. With that, we can gather everyone and do what we were meant to do." Mei looks in horror as his smile changes into something more sinister. "To lay waste to this world and bring in a new era!"

"He'll stop you…" Mei whispers. The man looks down at her, his eyes cold as winter.

"What did you say." The man asks.

"I said that Izuku will stop you!" Mei shouts. "So will our friends." The large glowing eyes glare down at her.

"No, they won't." The man opens his mouth, preparing his attack. Mei's face remains witha content smile as she closes her eyes.

"I love you, Izuku. Now and forever." She thinks to herself.

"BLAST BREATHE!" The last thing Mei feels is the burning heat from his attack.

Author's Note: I'm alive! Yes, I know people want to either see another chapter of explosive history or arranged meeting but don't worry. I have decided that on mondays I will post this story and on fridays I will be posting chapters for the other two fics. Lmk what you all think of this fic.
