New First Day in Anima City
"Thank you for the help, Ms. Carmelita." Izuku thanked the fox woman who is tying up the three bombers together.
"De nada, and I'm sorry you had to see that we Beastmen have our own problems in this great city of ours, even during the festival time." Carmelita apologized to the new newcomers.
"There's no need to apologize for that. None of us knew what was going to happen, I'm just glad nothing seriously bad happened." Izuku was relieved by that.
"But what is the deal with that Shirou guy? Does he always get brutal with his approach on crime or something?" Michiru asked, not liking that wolf guy.
"Please, don't hold it against him. Shirou had gone through a lot that none of us would be able to understand, he's just trying to look out for everyone even though his approach is brutal." Carmelita explained a bit about Shirou.
"Even though he can be really scary most of the time." Marie commented to herself.
"Inspector Fox, I see you handle the criminals that were disturbing the festival. Great work as always." A dog Beastman walked up to Carmelita and complimented her on a job well done.
"Actually, Investigator Tachiki. These thugs were already dealt with by Shirou, almost gave them a beating to death." Carmelita mentioned Shirou being here.
"I see, so we were a step behind once again." Investigator Yuji Tachiki sighed as he looks at the scene.
Yuji Tachiki is a Great Dane dog Beastman with dark gray fur, a black nose, big floppy ears, and a droopy snout. He wears a gray suit, a white collared shirt, mint turquoise tie, light olive overcoat, and a purple-gray newsboy cap.
"Well, I'll take these men off your hands." Yuji said.
"Thank you. I'll be taking these people out for them to get some fresh air, have a good night." Carmelita walked away with the others following her.
Izuku and Michiru are glad that they have to be taken by the police for questioning about the bomber thugs, but now they have to be careful since they are in a new place since there are bound to be Beastmen out there in the city who hates humans.
"By the way, how much of the Beastmen do you know?" Carmelita asked the two newbies.
"The Beastmen were a discovery of new humanoid species that we humans stumble upon decades ago, there were a lot of bad things happening between the two sides resulting in deaths until this city was build ten years ago to help the Beastmen to live in peace and hopefully make peace with humans too." Izuku explained on what he knows.
"Yeah, Izuku here likes to study a lot when there is something that caught his attention." Michiru said.
"Then I take it you don't know that we Beastmen can transform into human forms to blend in with other humans." Carmelita mentioned.
"What did you just say?" Michiru asked, not sure if she heard that right.
"It's true, all Beastmen can transform between our true Beast form and human however we want like this." Eijiro showed his transformation into a human, shocking both while Marie does the same.
"No way! I can't believe you guys can do that all along and we never knew about it!" Michiru was shocked to see this.
"But I believe this may also cause some problems with humans already hating Beastmen for being walking humanoid animals, with Beastmen having human transformations would make things a little more complicated." Izuku pointed out.
"That's right, it's actually normal for us Beastmen to be in our human forms most of the time hoping to show the humans we're fellow living beings sharing the same planet." Carmelita said.
Izuku and Michiru look around to see all the other Beastmen have indeed transformed into their human forms.
"Oh man, I thought everyone here were always Beastmen all the time so me and Izuku wouldn't have to worry about exposing ourselves." Michiru exclaimed in shock.
"Yeah, sorry to break it to you, but that just how the normal is around here." Marie grinned.
"So, have you guys even tried changing yourselves into humans before?" Eijiro asked.
"No, in fact, I don't think we'll be able to do the same transformation ability as you guys can since we were never Beastmen to begin with." Izuku theorized strongly about this.
"Oh man, this totally sucks!" Michiru complained.
"But still, you guys have other things like the way Michiru made her tail all glowy and grew so big and Izuku was crazy strong too!" Eijiro smiled.
"How about we talk about that later, in the morning." Carmelita suggested, but Izuku notice something about Carmelita.
"Huh, Ms…?" Izuku said to her.
"Por favor, please, call me Carmelita." Carmelita insisted with a cute smile.
"Right, Carmelita, I was wondering why you are still in your Beastman form and not in your human form like everyone else?" Izuku asked.
"Yeah, I have always wonder about that." Eijiro said.
"And yet, you never ask her." Marie pointed out.
"I didn't want to be rude!" Eijiro proclaimed strongly.
"It's fine, I always get that kind of question when I meet other Beastmen who don't know me all that well." Carmelita chuckled.
"There is a saying that my foster family lives by for generations. Sé fiel a tu corazón para que todos lo vean." Carmelita said the family saying in Spanish, but that only leaves confusion to the four who don't know Spanish at all.
"That means what?" Izuku asked.
"Be true to your heart for everyone to see." Carmelita translated for them to understand.
"Oh, sounds cool." Michiru commented.
"Thank you. My family has taught me to always embrace myself no matter what everyone else says, they showed me that I don't need to hide what I really am on the inside whether I'm a Beastman or a human. Let yourself be known to the world and they will feel your heart." Carmelita explained.
"In other words, embrace everything the world has to offer you." Izuku said, understanding what she's saying.
"But we never ask to be like this." Michiru pointed out.
"Maybe not, but we're here now and will make the most out of it, together." Izuku held onto her hand making her smile.
"Great! Now I'm going to take you two somewhere you'll be able to live to get settle in." Eijiro smiled.
(Later)
"Alright, now hold still." One man said, then rips a bandage from each newcomer to look at their furs.
"Is this really necessary?" Izuku asked.
"Just wanted to make sure that you two are really Beastmen despite the evidence showing me otherwise." The man said while looking at the student ID of Izuku and Michiru.
"So, there's never really been a situation like us before?" Izuku asked.
"I'm afraid not, unless you were suddenly hunted down by a Beastmen and bitten with his gems entering your systems." The man said.
"Ew! No! Nothing like that ever happened to us!" Michiru was grossed out from that, especially about the gems part.
"Honestly, you never tone down the way you talk." Carmelita sighed.
"That's just him being manly." Eijiro believed.
"Honey, you shouldn't talk like that." The woman scolded her husband.
"So, your names are Izuku and Michiru, right?" The woman asked if she got the names right.
"Yes, I'm Izuku Midoriya." Izuku said.
"And my name is Michiru Kagemori. It's nice to meet you." Michiru bowed at them.
"And my name is Melissa. You met Gem here, and despite appearance, he is head of the Beastmen-Cooperative. Part of our job is to look after all newcomers." Melissa introduced themselves to them.
Gem Horner has fair skin, and red hair is slightly disheveled and swept to the left side, black pupils, and red mustache and beard. He wears a white collared shirt with a hunter green tie, red-framed glasses, a mustard yellow v-cut sweater, blue-gray trousers, and brown loafers.
Melissa Horner has tan skin, shoulder-length, auburn, permed hair, and black pupils. She wears a cerulean cardigan, white blouse, a long gray skirt, white socks, and gray slip-on shoes. She carries a gray notebook around.
"Anyway, you're going to need to fill this out so you can register as residents to the city hall." Melissa handed them papers that are registrations for them to fill up.
"But how exactly do we fill these up, we're two former human beings." Michiru pointed out.
"Hmm, yes, that is quite the pickle." Gem stroked his beard.
"If anyone finds out about what you two really are, it'll most likely cause a bit of panic and an angry mob coming after you. You might even be taken away to become lab experiments." Carmelita talked about the worse outcome for them.
"That would really be bad, so let just put in Beastmen on the safe side, not like we could anything about it." Izuku said.
"Fine." Michiru sighed.
"Hey, did you guys have a room prepare for the two like I asked?" Eijiro asked.
"Yes, we have thanks to you calling us ahead of time." Melissa nodded, leading them to the rooftop level.
"Shit…" A young woman groaned in pain.
"Easy there, Kuroi. Just walk it off, we're almost to your room. Ribbit." A younger girl said.
"(Ribbit?)" Izuku and Michiru thought was puzzled by that.
"Oh no, did she get into trouble again?" Melissa asked worry.
"Relax, old hag. I didn't get into any fights, just got tricked into drinking some shit and now I'm getting a fucking headache." Kuroi explained before groaning again.
Kuroi is a young woman with shoulder-length black hair and blue eyes. She has a distinct "D" tattoo on her right cheek and lots of tattoos all over her body and a piercing on her lower left lip. She wears a black metal-like tube top, black leather skirt-like cloth held by a black belt with a silver buckle, dark violet leggings, and black high-heel shoes. Breasts size: FF-cup.
"I was on my way home with my family until I saw her down in pain, so I decided to help her out." The ribbit girl explained.
"Thank you very much, Tsuyu." Melissa thanked.
"This here is Kuori Tasuku, she's a fellow resident here. You'll be seeing her a lot though she can be quite troubling, so please help her out." Melissa introduced them to Kuori.
"Shut the fuck up, hag. I'm doing fine, I don't need your help." Kuori looked away, hiding her tiny blushes.
"Hello, my name is Tsuyu Asui. Nice to meet you." Tsuyu introduced herself to the newbies.
Tsuyu is a short girl with a relatively slender build and has notably large hands. Her appearance is rather frog-like; she has a wide mouth, which dips down a little in the middle just like a common frog, and oval-shaped eyes with large, black irises, their lower eyelashes visibly pronounced. Her hair is a dark sea-green color and is very long, reaching to her hips with the ends tied together at the bottom in a large bow of hair. She has two armpit-length clumps framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some partially swept to each side. She wears a bright green kimono with a cute little frog head on her head. Breasts size: G-cup.
"Oh, let me guess, you're the cutest frog in the world." Michiru teased.
"I guess my mom would still call me that, but it's my little sister who is cuter." Tsuyu stated bluntly.
"Hey, Tsu! I didn't think I see you here." Eijiro showed himself to her.
"Hey Eijiro, are you doing more volunteering work here?" Tsuyu asked.
"You could say that, these two just arrived in the city and are looking for a place to stay for a while, so I recommended this place." Eijiro explained, gesturing to the two newcomers.
"Interesting, you two must've had a rough time getting away from the humans who were trying to kill you." Tsuyu said.
"Huh, yeah, it was really hard for us." Izuku said nervously while Michiru just nods rapidly.
"(More than you think.)" Izuku thought wondered how this girl would react if she found out that he and Michiru were originally humans.
"Here we are. I hope this room is okay, it is on the rooftop where you can have a great view outside." Melissa showed them their new room.
"Wait, so we're gonna be sleeping here together?" Michiru asked, causing Izuku to flinch with his face blushing.
"Yeah, Eijiro only said to prepare a room. I thought you guys wouldn't mind since you two appear to be very close to each other." Melissa said.
Michiru and Izuku look at each other feeling their hearts beating and quickly turn away, they have known each other since childhood and all, but that doesn't mean they were that close to each other. Does it?
"It's fine, we can manage." Izuku said.
"Just know if you need anything, give me a call since I gave you my contact numbers. And you could also ask Shirou since he lives here too." Eijiro mentioned that last part.
"Wait, he does?" Michiru asked.
"Yes, he works for us as a Social Worker. I know he may come out as a bad person with his glares and dark attitude, but I can promise you he's really nice." Melissa assured them.
"(He does seem to care for others like the Beastmen in the city, but it's like he got a lot of things going on and venting that out into frustration.)" Izuku thought wondered if there is something going on with Shirou from his past.
Izuku and Michiru decided to hit the hay and lay on the bed together, the problem with the bed that it's a little small for them and their bodies are really, really close together.
"So, this is how our new lives are gonna be from now on." Michiru said.
"Yeah, we came to Anima City, and we already experienced something crazy out of the blue. I'm just glad you weren't hurt." Izuku was relieved by that.
"Same for me with you. I never seen you got that crazy before, it's like you were angry beyond belief." Michiru mentioned.
"I don't know what that was exactly, but I'm really glad that it was you who pulled me away from that anger. I felt your words and your body onto mine, like our souls were being connected." Izuku said.
"H-Hey, don't make it s-sound like a big deal or a-anything." Michiru blushed, and then she felt her body being pulled onto his body by his arms and tail.
"Izuku?" Michiru was surprised by this.
"I promise that I'm never going to leave you, nor will I let anything bad happen to you. I care for you too much to lose you." Izuku admitted.
Michiru couldn't believe what she was hearing just now, it almost sounded like a confession of love though maybe not entirely, but she'll take that as a means of the two of them being together more than she could ever hope for and hug him back.
"Then from now on, we'll care for each other." Michiru smiled.
(The Next Day)
Just as the sun raises from the horizon, the two jump out of the bed in shock when they suddenly hear a very loud crow.
"Huh?" Izuku wondered as he looks out the window to see a Rooster Beastman crowing on the rooftop.
"Oh, good morning, Izuku! Hope you and your friend had a goodnight sleep." The Rooster Beastman smiled. Izuku recognizes that voice to be Gem.
"Ah, so you're a rooster. I was wondering what kind of Beastman you are, guess that is something we're gonna be hearing every morning from now on." Izuku said while Michiru groans a bit.
"That's right, now you two should get ready for city hall." Gem said before heading inside.
(Anima City Hall)
"Here we are! Anima City Hall, as you can see, it's packed for lots of Beastmen to get some paperwork done including helping out newbies like you." Eijiro gestured to the place.
"It's really packed." Michiru and Izuku commented.
"See you later." Shirou said, walking away.
"Huh, I thought you were going to keep an eye on us." Izuku was surprised that Shirou is leaving them.
"I happen to have a few errands I need to run here too. You got those two to look after you." Shirou said about Eijiro and Carmelita.
"Oh right, you have to make your report to the mayor." Carmelita remembered that.
"Huh, hold on a minute. You know the mayor?" Michiru asked in shock.
"Hey!" A man shouted impatient.
