"When are we going to tell it to our parents?" Robert was still panting. He had slid next to Cora, she laid on her back, and he drew circles on her belly.

Cora's hand stroked over Robert's upper arm. Her chest was still rising and falling quickly. Robert still managed to surprise her with the way he could please her in bed. "We are in Downton this weekend. We could tell them."

"And your mother?" Robert still circled over her belly.

"It feels weird to call her with this big news. I hated it when we had to tell her about my illness."

Robert scooted closer, laid his leg over hers and pulled her against his chest. "We will go and tell her directly." He moved his hand up to her shoulder.

Cora nestled her head against Robert's chest. "What do you mean, tell her directly?"

"Exactly what I say. We will go to your mother and tell her. We will make a holiday out of it, the last one where it is just us two."

"I love you so much." Cora kissed his chest and yawned.

"Let us get some sleep. You have a lot of work waiting for you in the morning."

Cora turned on her side and rested her hand against his chest. "Can we lay here a little bit longer?" She loved the sensation of his bare skin against hers.

Robert got up a little to pull up the covers, their legs were still intertwined.

Cora woke up with Robert still close to her. He was fast asleep. Carefully without waking him, she got up. If they wanted to go to Downton this weekend she needed to get to work on those books.

She pulled one of Robert's big t-shirts over her head and pulled clean underwear out of the closet, wrapped her dressing gown around her and went downstairs. First, she needed coffee. While she waited for the machine, she opened the first box. There was a note on top of the books.

'Rosamund emailed all the stores that were left in the tour, to ask how many books they needed to be signed. These are all the books that were purchased after that request by people who would have come to your signings. I know it is a lot, but it shows how loved your books are. Good luck, Christopher.'

Cora smiled; Rosamund had made sure that her readers were not left disappointed. But she would need this entire day at least to get them all signed.

With her cup filled with delicious-smelling coffee, she sat down at the table in the sunroom. She had brought two boxes to that room to get started. When she opened the first book, there was a small piece of paper inside with a note about who purchased the book. Now Cora could still make her message a little personal.

When Robert finally came downstairs, he found Cora in the sunroom. With her legs pulled under her, signing book after book. Calm violin music was playing. She was not dressed yet. He decided to not disturb her just yet. He was almost sure she also did not eat any breakfast. There were no signs of it in the kitchen. He knew how much she loved a full English.

He made up a plate for her and a new fresh cup of coffee. He waited at the doorframe, enjoying his view of her. But then he stepped closer, not wanting the food to get cold. With his hand he brushed over her shoulders, while placing the plate next to her.

"Eat something dear."

Startled Cora looked up. "I would like to finish."

Robert looked at the amount of books that were left. He put his hand on the pile next to her. There were three left. "These three and then you will eat. When you have eaten, I will not disturb you anymore." He pressed a kiss on her head and turned around.

Cora grabbed his hand and tugged on his arm. "Thank you for making me breakfast." She tugged on his arm again so he would bend down. She puckered her lips for a kiss.

Robert gave her a quick kiss before leaving her alone. He had to start working himself, there were some things he needed to settle before they would go to Downton. And he wanted to look into their options to go to The United States. He was not sure they could fly, or at least if Cora was allowed to fly. He should ask Dr. Clarkson. He would look into a private yacht; he quite liked that idea.

A couple of hours later he felt his stomach rumble. He got up from his desk and walked downstairs again. He checked on Cora, and to his surprise, she was still in her dressing gown sitting at the table. The pile of signed books had gotten significantly bigger. He noticed that she had not eaten much from her breakfast, and he suspected that she had not gotten up to get herself a drink.

"Cora?"

She did not react and kept reading the notes and signing the books.

"Cora!" Robert tried again a bit louder. Again, she did not react. He walked towards her and brushed over her cheek, what made her look up.

"Have you had anything to drink besides the coffee?"

Cora looked at him in confusion. "I am not sure. I do not think so, no. What time is it?"

"A little after one o'clock. I am going to make some lunch, what do you want to have?"

"I will eat what you are having."

"Why do you not come and help me? You can use a break."

"I only have two boxes left. I prefer to keep going if you do not mind?" She turned back to the table.

Robert decided to make her a cup of tea. With the steaming cup in his hands, he walked back to her. He put the cup down next to her and put his hands on her shoulders, massaging her. He felt her body relax under his touches. "I do understand that you want to finish this before the weekend. But you have been at this table for a couple of hours now without eating and drinking properly."

Cora put her pen down and leaned against the back of her chair, enjoying his massage. She lifted her hands and rested them on his moving hands.

"I have been looking into ways to travel to your mother."

Slightly turning her head Cora asked: "What do you mean? We could just fly there?"

"Darling, we should ask Dr Clarkson if that is possible."

Cora stiffened up. "I am only 4,5 months pregnant. I can still safely fly."

"I am not worried about our little wonder, my love. I did some research, and your brain could cause problems."

With a deep sigh, Cora turned around. "I cannot wait for the day my brain will not cause us any more problems." She got up and took Robert's hand in hers. "What did you want to make for lunch?"

Finally, Cora signed the last book. She put it in the cardboard box and taped it close. She heard sounds coming from the living room. She decided to check what Robert was doing; it sounded as if he was watching the news. After they made lunch together, she had taken a quick shower. She opted to wear a dress that was quite loose. Robert pouted when he had seen her dress. Her belly was fully covered, he remarked.

Indeed, Robert was watching the news. "Anything interesting happening?" Cora smirked when she noticed that she startled Robert, he had dozed off. While she walked around the sofa to sit next to him, she brushed over his shoulders and arm.

"No, not really. I was not even paying attention."

Cora nestled herself against him. "You were asleep, weren't you?"

"Maybe, maybe not."

This made Cora laugh. "I could use an afternoon nap myself." She changed position so she could lie down with her head on his lap. Robert's hand went immediately to her belly.

"Did you finish all books?" He asked surprised.

Cora brushed over Robert's hand with her fingertips. "Indeed, they are all signed. I had expected it would take days."

"You worked hard my love. You deserve this nap." He bent down and kissed her on the lips. "We have a tyring weekend in front of us." He said while he kissed her again.

Cora raised her hand to cup his cheek. "We can only tell them one of our secrets, you do not have to tell them about your music."

"You are a darling. But I think that the news about the baby will soften their reaction about my music."

"We will see what happens. Let us not worry about that now." She nestled herself better on his lap and closed her eyes. Robert's circle movements over her belly were so relaxing that she fell asleep before she realised it.
