"JINX..." Vi's pink-haired girl's scream echoed throughout the cave where she and Caitlyn were.
"You finally got my name right," Jinx called from the shadows. "I guess there really isn't a crevice in the earth where you can find me."
"What is this place?" Vi asked.
"Don't you remember Janna's old bedtime stories, the ones Vander used to tell us? About miners trapped underground and the air running out?" Jinx spoke in a dramatic tone. "But suddenly, a gust of wind blew to rescue them. LOL, how crazy the level of nonsense people make up when they're drowning."
"We use the gray to clear the streets, to keep people safe," said her older sister, who was searching for her everywhere in the place.
"WHO! I never thought my sister would be with those above."
"I never thought mine would leave children orphaned."
"HA, why not? I left myself like this. But posting my face everywhere so someone else can do your dirty work. Poisoning our air." At that moment, Jinx hissed. "You've certainly changed a lot, sister."
"I'm done blaming myself for your mistakes, I'm done pretending you're my sister, but you're not. You killed her. I'm not going to let you tarnish her memory anymore." Vi raised her gauntlets and got into a fighting stance.
"Then stop me because..." At that moment, Jinx appeared. "No matter what I do, I can't seem to die."
"I'm sorry," Vi mentioned as she looked down.
"I'm sorry too." After that, the sound of a gun was heard, aimed at Jinx, but unfortunately for Caitlyn. It was just a reflection of Jinx herself.
Zaunita's mocking laughter was heard after that.
"I know you like it a lot, I hope you were able to do...you know before this." Another laugh was heard again.
"I'm ready." Vi's confident voice sparked a confrontation between them.
The fight between the two sisters was very close, the violence with which both acted was spectacular. However, Jinx lost a finger due to the shot Caitlyn fired at her. Jinx looked at her fingerless hand, very scared. Violet threw her to the ground to prevent her from fleeing.
"Come on, I'm ready," Jinx said. "It's a good thing you're the one who's going to finish me off."
Before Vi or Caitlyn could react and finish off Jinx, a girl named Isha, whom Jinx had adopted a few days ago, got between them with the blue-haired girl's gun to defend her. The girl pointed the gun at Vi's head to shoot her if she attacked Jinx.
"What are you doing? Get off me." Jinx said to Isha.
Without thinking, Caitlyn fired at the girl. Luckily, she missed her, only knocking the gun out of her hand.
"Vi, get out of the way. I need to finish her off." Caitlyn said, pointing her gun at Jinx.
"STOP CAIT, DON'T SHOOT." Vi said as I stopped her with my hands.
"MOVE. I HAVE TO. The fury in Caitlyn's eyes was mirrored by great fear for Violet.
"Caitlyn is a child. You can't do this."
"Step aside..."
Caitlyn fired the gun, but Vi lowered it so the bullet hit the ground. The officer glared at Vi in anger for what she had just done: preventing her from killing Jinx.
At that moment, the cave began to shake, and this was because Sevika activated something that was slowly destroying the cave.
"NO, THIS WASN'T SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN LIKE THIS." Jinx said as she covered Isha from the explosion.
After a few minutes, Jinx, along with Sevika and Isha, were at the place where she lived.
"Why did you release the gas? I told you it wasn't time yet," Jinx said to Sevika somewhat angrily.
"It was the only way for those two not to kill you, or the girl. I wasn't going to let anything happen to you two," Sevika replied.
Jinx looked at her for a few moments, not knowing what to say, but in her mind, the blue-haired girl was happy for what Sevika had done. Although she didn't have a good relationship with her, Jinx admired her a lot.
"And you, girl," Jinx said, referring to Isha. "You shouldn't have gotten involved when I was fighting with my crazy sister. She could have seen you hurt." Isha just nodded.
"Leave me alone with Sevika, maybe go draw." Jinx said that to Isha, and the girl looked at both of them before leaving.
"Where did you get the girl from? Did you kidnap her or something?" Sevika asked.
"I didn't kidnap her. I found her somewhere and adopted her. Is there a problem with that?"
"No, not one. It's just that..." the large woman said as she sat down on the floor. "I don't think you're very fit to take care of a child."
"Why not? Now more than ever, I need someone's help for what's coming."
"So, are you going to use a child to help you do your evil deeds toward Piltover?"
"No... that's not exactly what I need her for. She'll help me with something else that's more important than screwing up the lives of those above." said Jinx, who was about to repair her weapon.
"I don't understand what you're talking about? Explain carefully." I asked Jinx.
"You'll see...in a few months." "Whatever you want. If you need help, you know where to find me," Sevika said as she left. "Oh, and one more thing, take good care of the girl. She's your responsibility now."
"Yes, yes, yes, I'll take good care of her, don't worry." Jinx spoke, and then Sevika left. "I'll take good care of Isha... and of you."
She whispered while caressing her belly.
Isha appeared with a drawing of the two of them destroying the city. Jinx saw the drawing and smiled.
"Isha, listen carefully to what I'm going to tell you. Now you and I are family. From now on, we have each other." The young woman was saying to the girl, who was listening attentively to the blue-haired girl's words. "In a few months, we'll stop being two, but three."
Isha made a confused face, not knowing what Jinx was talking about.
"So, I'm having a baby," Jinx pointed at her belly. "Now, you understand me, right?"
The little girl nodded excitedly as she hugged Jinx.
The young Zaunita hugged Isha in the same way, faint tears rolling down her cheeks.
"I'm going to make sure neither of you suffer what I've suffered for years, I promise."
