FOUR YEARS LATER.

It had been a few years since the arrival of Jinx's daughter, Loona. She looked very similar to her father, Ekko, although she also had some of Jinx's traits.

"Mom...mom," Loona said, calling to her sleeping mother. "Mom, wake up."

The girl moved her mother's arm slightly, as she was sleeping at her desk. Jinx woke up seconds later after hearing her daughter's voice.

"Loona, what happened?" Jinx said, yawning.

"I found these little blue balls in a box, mommy." Loona held two Hextech stones in her little hands. Seeing this, her mother freaked out and snatched them out of her hand.

"WHERE DID YOU FIND THEM!" the blue-haired woman said to her daughter, quickly taking them away.

"They were in a box. What are those, Mommy? Are they for playing with?"

"NO, LOONA." "Jinx said, raising her voice slightly. "I don't want you to grab them again. These things aren't for playing with. They're very dangerous. I don't want you to grab them again. Do you understand?"

"It's okay, Mom, but... you're not mad, right?" The little girl had her head down, unsure if what her mother was saying was a scolding or not.

"I'm not mad." Jinx knelt in front of her daughter and gently held her face. "Just promise you won't grab these things again, Loona." Loona nodded.

"Okay, where is Isha?" Jinx asked the girl.

"She went to see Sevika, but I don't know why," the little blue-haired girl replied.

For the past four years, Jinx had been avoiding going out to Zaun for fear that some of the Piltover guards would recognize her and take her to Caitlyn, since Caitlyn was afraid that if she found out she had a daughter, she could use that against her. Jinx couldn't bear to know that someone would hurt her daughter.

For a long time, Isha, like Sevika, had been telling Jinx to return to the streets of Zaun to show off the power she had gained after seeing Piltover attacked. But the blue-haired woman had left all that behind; she didn't want her daughter to repeat the same story.

Jinx wanted Loona and Isha to have a better childhood than the one she had.

For so many years and so many days, Jinx had been visiting the place where she and Ekko would sometimes meet. The young woman remembered the first and only time they were together, which was the best day of her life, since that was the day they conceived their daughter. That day was filled with passion, love, and new sensations that they both discovered in each other.

Jinx didn't want to believe that Ekko was dead. Or that he was locked up in Stillwater on Caitlyn's orders, yet she believed he would return one day and they would be together with Loona, so they would no longer feel lonely.

To this day, the girl had never asked her anything about her father, and Jinx preferred that she never ask since she had no answer for her daughter.

The Zaunite also didn't know much about her sister Vi. All this time, she had been avoiding talking to her since the last time they saw each other hadn't been on the best of terms. All she knew was that she fought and that she was doing very well since she was the favorite of some. Jinx had sometimes bet that her sister would win, and it always turned out that way. Jinx thought her sister was lonely.

Although, she had no idea that her sister had someone special in her life.

On the other hand, a little girl was playing with two dolls, a gift from her mother. They were sitting on a small makeshift table the girl herself had made to play tea party with them.

Her mother, a tall, muscular woman, was hitting a punching bag hard, all the anger she'd pent up for a long time. The little girl often dreamed of being like her; she wanted to beat the hell out of those bad guys up there who only wanted to hurt us here.

Vi stopped hitting the punching bag to grab a bottle of liquor she had and then take a drink. Although she had been trying to avoid giving up drinking for her daughter's sake, sometimes it was impossible.

"Mildred," Vi said, calling her daughter. The girl got up from the floor and looked her mother in the eyes.

"Yes, Mom."

"It's a bit late. I have to fight today. I have to get you to sleep before I leave," she said.

"Mildred," she said. The little girl lay down in the bed she shared with her mother, since their house was very small, but perfect for both of them. She grabbed her dolls and laid them down next to her, then went to bed herself. Vi approached her daughter and covered her with a blanket that was specially made for her.

"You'll be back late, Mommy?" Mildred asked.

"Yes, honey, I'll be back late, but you sleep, and you know, don't leave here, okay?"

"Okay." Mildred, as Vi also affectionately called her, approached her mother and kissed her on the cheek. "I love you, Mommy."

Vi just smiled and kissed her daughter back.

"And I love you, but go on, go to sleep." said the pink-haired girl. Mildred lay down and began to close her eyes, drifting off to sleep. Vi began to hum a song, the same one her mother used to sing to her and her sister when they were little. Five minutes later, the little girl fell fast asleep. Vi carefully got out of bed and blew out the candle beside her so Mildred could sleep.

Before leaving her house, the young woman grabbed the bottle of liquor and left. Vi wasn't going to fight that day; she wanted to be alone for a moment so she could forget some of the pain she felt.

Since she started taking care of Mildred, her life had changed. Now she wasn't just looking after herself, but she also had to care for the well-being of a little girl she had spent four years raising as her own.

Vi had sworn never to tell Mildred that she wasn't her biological mother. She felt it would break the little girl's heart. Mildred was the exact copy of her mother, Tina. She had brown hair, honey-colored eyes, and pale skin. She was a very kind and cheerful girl, always smiling at every moment.

Although the young woman never imagined being a mother, she didn't regret it. Well, if Mildred weren't with her right now, what would her life be like? Perhaps it would be a pointless mess.

Her daughter was a rainbow who brought some color to her life.

Even in these years, Vi couldn't stop thinking about Caitlyn; even though she was a bad memory in her life, and no matter how hard she tried to forget her, she couldn't, in the short time they had been together. For the Zaunian, it had meant so much after sharing a kiss together.

Even though Vi had someone in her life, she felt a great loneliness in her soul and in her heart.
