Chapter 17 – Bachelor Party Part 1

Bean had spent the remainder of the day in her room talking with Luci about what they were going to do with Merkimer. Elfo was taken off by Sorcerio, the Dreamlands court wizard. The two of them were going back and forth about what method would work best. Of course, a lot of the methods that Luci had suggested weren't sitting right with Bean considering that she wasn't comfortable with killing Merkimer personally. This of course annoyed Luci greatly as he glared at Bean "You want the bastard dead yet you don't want to kill him personally?" He said as he lets out a big groan. Bean would reply "Look I don't want to do it personally ok? I just need a way that would kill him…that in a way physically doesn't have to involve me!" Luci just stared at her "That didn't make any sense…" Bean replied, "Well it makes sense to me!" She gets up from her spot on the couch and stretches "All of this is just stressing me out. Let's go find Elfo and head to the bar. I need a drink." As soon as she was about to leave her room there was a knock on the door. Bean would head to her door and open it. Bean's expression went from natural to annoy immediately as she stared at Tavish.

"Hello sister," said Tavish

"Oh my god…what in the hell do you want now?" Bean asked as she glared at Tavish.

"Can I speak with you for a moment?"

"No,"

"It's important,"

"What part of no do you not understand?"

"Can you please just let me ask you one thing?"

Bean groans and rolls her eyes "Fine whatever! Just hurry up, me and friends are heading out!" She glared at her older brother while impatiently tapping her finger on her left arm.

"I am hosting a bachelor for my beloved friend Merkimer that's going to be held on a boat and I was wondering if it was ok with you if he could cut loose before he gets married," Tavish asked

"Um…sure?" Bean said shrugging "I don't know why I'm supposed to care what he does. He can do whatever he wants…"

"Ok," Tavish said with a nod "That's all I wanted to know." He then proceeds to walk off.

"Tch that's it? Ugh whatever," Bean said as she eyed Tavish as he walked away.

"Hey Bean!" said Luci hopping back onto her shoulders "This may be the perfect opportunity…" He whispered to her. "Out in sea…It could be the ultimate opportunity…"

Bean's eyes widen. "H-HEY! TAVISH WAIT!" Bean called out to Tavish and he turns around. "What is it, sister?" He asked. "Umm brother I was wondering since I'm allowing my future husband to partake in the bachelor party I was wondering if my friends and I could come along!"

Tavish raises a brow at Bean "You want to come?"

"YEAH! I mean it is a party after all and I do love parties! I mean I want to have a good time too before I get married off! I deserve that at least right?"

Tavish stared at her. "Fine," He agreed. "You and your weird little friends behave understood?"

"Yes Big Brother of course," said Bean with a smile. And with that Tavish left.

"Well that takes care of our setup," said Luci. "You go find Elfo. I'll meet up with you guys later."

Bean turns to Luci as he walked off "Where are you going?"

"Well, It looks like I'm going to be the one to pull out all of the plans when it comes to offing your husband. So let me finish the rest of the plans."

"Alright then," said Bean as she left off to find Elfo. She remembered that Sorcerio had taken Elfo to his workroom. Once Bean had arrived she gasped. Elfo was hanging on a hook while sitting in his cage. The color in his skin that was bright green turned a dark shade of grey. In the room were Zog and Sorcerio along with the leader of the man that captured her Nicholas. "ELFO OH MY GOD! ARE YOU OK?" She asked as she rushed over to him. "If I say no will It make me look less manly?" Elfo asked weakly. Beam smiled at him "Oh Elfo that's not possible…" She turned to face her father "Why don't you go and pick on someone your own size! Like a-LIKE A BARN!"

This caused Nicolas to snicker a bit. Zog glared at Nicholas and he immediately stopped snickering. He then turns to his daughter "First off sweetie, SHUT UP! We're trying to leech all the magic out of this little guy! Don't you want a magic daddy?" He said in a failed attempt to sound cute.

"Oh my god no! I don't want that and I would NEVER call you that!" said Bean as she cringed. "You just want your stupid elixir of life so you can be immortal and rule forever! You're just cruel and selfish!"

"Cruel? Ok fair enough. Selfish? Ok that's true too…" said Zog

"Princess Tiabeanie I can't blame your father for wanting such power. It's amazing that something like this even exists." Nicholas said.

"And who the hell asked you?" said Bean looking over at Nicholas. Nicholas just smirked at Bean and didn't reply.

"Sire harnessing the power of the blood is proving to be quite a challenge," said Sorcerio as he points at the glass tube where Elfo's blood is leaking into. Zog looks at the tube and he formed in an angry expression "This is getting ridiculous!" He shouts as he turned to looks at Sorcerio "If this tube isn't filled by morning, even if you have to grind him into dust! If it isn't filled by morning you're getting your head chopped off!" He said as he walked past everyone leaving the room.

"Spoken like a true king," said Nicholas with a chuckle. He looks over at Bean "You know you could always cut a little deeper into the Elf. That'll get the blood rushing."

"How about I get something sharp and I cut you open instead?" Bean said darkly.

"Oh come on it was just a joke Bean," said Nicholas

"Don't call me Bean. Only my close friends call me that," said Bean sharply

Nicholas laughed softly "Oh come on," He walks over to Bean and he places his hand on her cheek. "You're still not mad at me about Koga are you?" He asked smugly. Bean slapped his hand away and she gives Nicholas a right hook that knocked him to the ground. "DON'T YOU EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!" She screamed. Nicholas would rub his jaw and glared at Bean. "Right…" He said in an angry tone as she gets to his feet and walks out of the room mumbling under his breath.

"Bastard…" Bean whispered as she rubs her hand.

"Uh, Bean…what're we going to do? I don't have enough blood left to give to fill that vile up.." said Elfo worriedly.

"Come on Bean think…THINK!" said Bean as she rubbed her head. Bean then heard the sounds of Pigs outside the window. A big smile appeared on Bean's face. "I GOT IT!" She beamed. She looks over at Elfo. "I'll be right back!" She said as she ran out of the room and sprinted down the hallways. As she made one turn she sees her brother Tavish leaving his room wearing his black and red trenchcoat. Bean hides around the corner as Tavish looked down the stone hall where she was. Once he sees that no one was there he heads down the opposite way. Bean peaks around the corner. "Where are you off to Tavish?" She said as she slowly follows Tavish. But as soon as Bean heads to the front of the castle that leads to the courtyard Tavish went he was gone. "What the hell?" said Bean confused.

"Do you need something sister?"

"WHOA!" Bean turned around saw Tavish standing right behind her. "Oh, uh-Hey big brother! Sup?"

"Why are you following me?" Tavish asked.

"What? Follow you? I'm not following you!"

"Yes, you are,"

"No, I'm not,"

"Do you need something?" Tavish asked once more.

"Jeez, can I not like step outside and get some fresh air? GOD!" Bean turned away from her brother crossed her arms.

Tavish would scoff and walk past her "In case you're wondering where I'm going-"

"Which I'm not," Bean replied.

"I'm going into town for a bit. Behave yourself," said Tavish as he hops onto his horse.

"Yeah yeah sure," Bean rolled her eyes.

Tavish would call for the guards to lower the drawbridge and rode off into town. Bean watched as Tavish rode off into the night. Just where exactly was Tavish going out this late? It wasn't like him at all to be out at night time. Bean decides to shrug it off and head around the corner to the castle to fetch the pig. Hopefully, this plan she had thought up would work.

The next morning. King Zog and Sorcerio along with Bean and Luci had returned to Sorcerio's work quarters. "Well…" said Sorcerio "I must admit…the amount of blood has acceded my expectations…"

The vile was filed to the brim with blood. Pig blood that is. It was so overfilled that the entire room was flooded with pig blood. Bean stood there next to the cage where Elfo was held in. "So…is Elfo free to go?" She asked.

"Sure yeah, he's free to go. Jeez, I picked the wrong day to wear sandals…" said Zog annoyed as he looked down at his feet as he walked out of the room. The trio cheered and Bean let's Elfo out of the cage.

"Oh by the way Bean I took care of you know what," said Luci.

"Great!" said Bean with a grin.

"Huh?" said Elfo looking up at the two of them.

Once the two of them left the room and head down the halls Bean began explaining the plan to Elfo. Elfo gasped "Wait you guys are going through with this?" He said in shock. Luci looked down at him "Um of course we are? When we make a murder plan we're going to stick to it," He said with an evil laugh.

"And besides there's no going back on this. Luci already has everything set up and we're going to do this!" said Bean determinedly. She looks at Luci "And what exactly did you do?"

"I hired a bunch of pirates to attack the ship and only kill Merkimer," said Luci "By the way you owe 2000 gold."

"Umm…I don't think I have 2000 gold…" said Bean

"Eh we'll think of something!" said Luci confidently

The trio would then head down to the bay where everyone was heading to the party that was hosted on the boat. Tavish was speaking to the head knight Pendergast. Pendergast was a tall man with bright orange hair and tan skin. Pendergast had an eyepatch on his right eye and he wore a white shirt with black pants. Standing next to him were his two best knights Turbish and Mertz. Turbish was a short round man with short blond hair and Mertz was a tall skinny man with brown hair and a small mustache on his upper lip.

"Thank you so much for allowing us to come to this party Prince Tavish! I had thought this was going to be a noble's bachelor party!" Pendergast said happily.

Tavish would chuckle "Oh no this is no Nobel party. I want everyone here to cut loose and have a wonderful time. You all deserve it the most." He smiled.

"Thank you, my prince!" Pendergast said smiling at Tavish. "I will never forget this wonderful act of kindness to the future king of –OH PRINCESS TIABEANIE?"

Bean walks up to all of them and Pendergast stands in her way. "Hold on Princess Tiabeanie! A delicate flower such as you shouldn't-" But Bean cut him off with a gut punch that made Pendergast double over with a groan. "Don't worry Pendergast. Bean is allowed to come along. Just as long as she doesn't drink too much…" Tavish said as he eyed herself.

"And I am going to drink as much as I want," Bean said with a smirk.

"Of course you are…" Tavish said bitterly.

"Ah Princess Tiabeaine!" said Merkimer as he arrived on the dock "I'm so happy that you decided to come! You get to see the funny loud me! Before seeing the stern and bossy me!"

"I'm lucky in so many ways…" said Bean with obvious sarcasm in her voice.

"YARGH! ALL ABOARD THE PARTY BARGE!" said The Barge Captain

Everyone cheered on and they boarded the party boat and sailed off into the sea. The sun was setting as the knights along with a bunch of random citizens who Tavish decided to invite. Everyone on the boat was having a wonderful time. Drinking, laughing, and even Elfo joined in on the fun, although he was used as a cocktail shaker and people were spinning him like he was a bottle. So far the party was going well and even Bean so far was having a great time. Tavish however spent the remainder of his time isolated from everyone and looking out into the sea. Merkimer looked over at Tavish "Tavish my boy! Come join us!" He said joyfully. Tavish looked over at Merkimer "Oh no don't mind me. Have fun Merkimer…this party is about you after all…" He said in a low tone.

Bean was doing the same as Tavish. She along with Luci was looking at Sea. "So when are they supposed to show up?" Bean asked with a whisper. Luci. Luci stood onto Bean's head and looked around "We're in the right spot. We just gotta wait around nighttime." Luci said to her.

A few hours would go by and nighttime had arrived. A misty fog would begin to appear around the sea. As Tavish stared at the misty waters he gasped and a big smile appeared across his face. From afar, a large ship appeared out of the misty fog. Pendergast and the rest of the knights turned around and their eyes widen. The ship itself carried men with grey skin carrying morning star hammers and wearing armor around their bodies.

"I-Is that who I think it is?" stuttered Turbish.

"That's a Bozak's ship!" said Pendergast in shock.

The Bozaks ship had sailed close enough to the party and the captain of the ship walked forward "WE KNOW THAT THE PRINCE OF BENTWOOD IS ON THIS SHIP! HAND HIM OVER AND WE'LL SPARE YOUR LIVES!" The Bozak captain boomed.

Everyone on the ship looked were murmuring to each other as they all looked at each other in fear and confusion. Bean looked over at Luci with widened eyes "You hired bozaks?" She said in a whispered yell. "No I didn't!" said Luci looking back at her.

"Then who?!" said Elfo looking up at them.

Then, as everyone was currently on the Bozaks. A ship appeared on the opposite side of the Party ship. Mertz caught sight of this ship and shouts "ANOTHER SHIP!" he called out. Everyone turned around and saw a ship bearing a black flag with a skull and crossbones. Luci would then whisper "There are the people I hired…"

The pirate ship would pull up beside the Party ship just like the Bozak's ship. The party barge was now sandwiched in between two ships full of armed men that were there to capture prince Merkimer.

And two different plans had collided.
