Sonic and Ivory's battle was about to begin. Sally was still with the Mercenary leader, who was holding her close and keeping her in his grasp. Sonic and Ivory were facing each other in the large hut, and they were both looking at each other in the face. They were both ready to fight, and they were both ready to take on the other.
"Let's do this." Sonic said, his fists clenched at his sides.
"You sounded pretty tough in the news...and you're a Hedgehog. That's pretty rare. I expect you to show me something good!" Ivory leapt off the high place he was on, going straight for Sonic with a dive kick. Sonic would leap over him, only for Ivory to turn and spin, trying to hit Sonic with his kick, only to miss.
The two of them then clashed fists, and they began to trade blows, exchanging punches. Sonic would punch, and Ivory would block, and then he would punch, and Sonic would block, and then they would both strike at the same time, and they would both be forced to block.
Sonic did a backflip, avoiding an axe kick from Ivory, one that was strong enough to break parts of the floorboards
After dodging it, Sonic saw Ivory run towards him, leaping from pillar to pillar, from the walls, coming down. He bared his claws at Sonic, going in for a slash.
Sonic was able to avoid it by sidestepping, seeing what the slash did. His claws were glowing and after the slash missed, it would create a small explosion, blasting the ground. "Whoa! What is that?!"
"Just some converted steel energy I added into my claws. Makes em glow, and makes em explode!" Ivory smirked. "I'm gonna make you blow up, Hedgehog."
"I doubt that." Sonic retorted. "I'll just have to get in close. That'll make it harder to land a hit on me. And if he does, I can use that to my advantage." He thought.
"Have this!" Suddenly, Ivory started slashing rapidly with his glowing claws, causing an onslaught of explosions to happen, and the whole place was shaking.
The explosions were powerful, and they were loud, and they were devastating. Sonic had to avoid them all, while also trying to get in close to his opponent. But it was hard to do that when the area was constantly being attacked, and the floor was shaking.
"Woah!" Sonic said, feeling the tremors of the attacks, and the blasts. But he kept on his feet, and he continued to move. He was not going to lose to this guy.
Amy had peered inside, seeing the result of Sonic's battle. She saw all the knocked out mercenaries. All of them were unconscious, and she had a look of awe on her face.
"Wow...He's amazing...By himself?" She whispered, watching him. She had seen him fight before, but not like this. This was on a completely different level. It was incredible to see him in action.
And with them down for the count, Amy would try and chime in, seeing if she could find Sally. She ventured into the building, searching around the place while Sonic battled fiercely.
Another slash from Ivory came in, only to miss. Sonic had ducked, getting in close, and he landed a punch to his opponent's gut, making him hunch over, before following it up with a kick to the jaw.
After that, he would do a backflip, landing another kick to Ivory's head, sending him staggering. He would recover, and see that the hedgehog was in the air. He would follow him, jumping in the air, and the two of them would clash with kicks. Sonic would spin around, and then deliver a kick to Ivory's face, sending him flying into a wall. The force of the attack caused the wall to crack and break, and it shattered into pieces.
"You're pretty fierce and I can tell you hit hard. But that doesn't mean much if you can't keep up with my speed." Sonic said to Ivory.
"Tch. Yeah. You're fast, I can see that." Ivory said while getting back up, snarling at Sonic, and narrowing his eyes at him. "But that's not gonna stop me. I didn't think I'd have to use it but...oh, well."
With a devious grin, Ivory went for it. He would grip the Chaos Emerald in his hand tightly, deciding to use its power to gain the advantage. In a flash of light, Ivory utilized the power of the Chaos Emerald as an aura came out of him, one that sent a wind pressure across the area.
Sonic got into a stance, raising his arm as he felt the pressure of the aura.
"Hah! Feel that?! The Oracle Bug let me know how this beauty works! They can bring dreams to reality if the user thoughts are in sync with it! They respond to those thoughts by creating miracles after sensing them! So, I thought of beating you!" Ivory smirked, his aura growing more intense.
He then raised his arm, showing his claws once more. But with the power of the Chaos Emerald, his claws would extend, and they would turn black.
They would grow in length, and they would become sharper, and they would glow, and they would have the ability to cut through anything. "Now...let's do this." He rushed forward, and slashed at Sonic, who barely managed to dodge, and the claws grazed his skin. "You can't escape me! And I'll show ya why!"
"Whoa! That's new." Sonic said, feeling the pain of the scratch. With the emerald amplifying him, Sonic had to be extra careful here. And now that Ivory was stronger, and faster, he could not afford to be careless.
"Take this! Wolf's Fury!"
Ivory then attacked, slashing at him with his elongated claws. Sonic was able to dodge the first two strikes, and he was able to avoid the third one, but the fourth one was too much, and he was slashed in the arm right as he blocked.
"Ngh!" Sonic grunted as he felt the pain of the attack, and he was sent flying through a pillar, breaking it, and sliding on the floor to recover.
"Hahaha!" Ivory cackled as he leapt into the air with his elongated energy claws, and he was going to come crashing down, aiming to stab Sonic. Luckily, Sonic was fast enough to react, rolling out of the way.
But he was not done there. Ivory would leap up again, and slam the claws on the ground, sending a shockwave of energy at the Hedgehog, one that was powerful enough to break the ground.
Sonic was soon struck by the shockwave, and he was thrown backwards, having to constantly recover by sliding and running on the floor.
"Give it up, Hedgehog! I'm a lot stronger than you are now. There's nothing you can do to beat me. The Emerald has made me unbeatable. You see it for yourself!" Ivory boasted, raising his claw high once more. This time, he charged plenty of energy in his hands, forming a ball of light blue aura. "Hedgehog, this is where you end! Wolf's Vortex!"
The orb of energy would then shoot from his hand, and it would transform into a massive vortex of energy, one that was heading straight for the hedgehog. The sheer size of the attack was enough to obliterate the entire hut. As the vortex of light headed towards him, Sonic narrowed his eyes as the attack went off, causing an explosion so great that it blew a large hole through the hut, and the surrounding areas, blowing a hole in the forest.
Meanwhile, Sally was still in the grasp of one of Ivory's men. She was struggling to break free from their grip, but it was no use. They were too strong. She was being led back to his bedroom, where she would be his. "Ugh! Let me go already!" Sally would shout.
"S-Stop struggling!" Admittedly, Sally was a feisty one and hard to hold down, especially solo.
"Ngh...I said...let...GO!" Sally then smashed her boot against his face, causing him to cry out in pain, and to fall to his knees. She took the chance to escape from him and run off, trying to find her way to Sonic. But as she ran, she was caught by surprise as she ran into someone. "Ah! Amy?!"
"Sally!" The two girls would hug each other, happy to see one another. "You're okay!"
"I didn't think I'd see you here at all. I mean, Sonic was a surprise already, but you too?"
"Yeah. I figured I'd do more with my life. So I decided to find him and well...it all led us to you." Amy explained to her.
"Well, glad you showed up. I just danced for that guy's pleasure. Gross." Sally felt like gagging. "Let's get out of here as soon as Sonic beats that creep."
"You two aren't going anywhere..." The guy Sally kicked off got back up, holding his face while growling. He eyed down the two girls with anger. "Neither of ya are leaving this place. Not until Ivory's done with you. So, you can either come quietly, or I'll have to make you. And trust me, I won't be nice about it."
He unveiled his main weapon, which was a whip. A cat o nine tails, to be exact. He held onto the handle of the whip, and he was ready to strike. "So, what's it gonna be, ladies?"
The two girls gasped, instantly making a run for it while they had the chance. Seeing that, the bull would lash his whip at the two girls, trying to grab them, but he failed, as the girls were able to evade him. They continued to run, trying to find a way to escape him. However, they were not going to get far. The Mercenary had been chasing them, and the sounds of the crack of his whip rang loudly.
They were running through the hallways and rooms of this mercenary guild while the bull used his brute strength to charge through whatever he could. When he was getting closer to the girls, they would duck down, narrowly avoiding his whip. But even if he missed, he would still be right behind them.
But soon, they would reach a dead-end. They would find themselves cornered, and the Merc would stand in front of the door, blocking their path, and holding his whip in his hand. "You two aren't going anywhere. Now, you can come with me, and have me teach ya a lesson, or you can resist and I can have some fun with you both."
"Ugh...you're disgusting. Like your boss." Sally scowled.
"So? You're not a princess anymore, are you? Your kingdom's gone. Soon enough, you'll just be an outlaw just like us." The Merc would say to Sally. "So, what's the point of resisting? Just accept your fate already." He would approach the girls, his whip at the ready.
"I..." Sally had nothing to say. Indeed, she was no longer a princess at all now that her kingdom was gone. She was effectively lost. Amy looked at Sally's down face and how she struggled to say anything. She felt bad for her new friend, and it made her heart ache to see her like that. But right now, the girls were defenseless. Neither of them were equipped to fight a bull who was armed with a weapon. They had to use their wits and get out of this one in their own way.
Meanwhile, back on the battlefield, Sonic and Ivory were still going at it. After that last attack, there was a huge explosion that shook the entire area. Sonic was able to avoid that attack, but it had left him a bit perplexed.
"Oh, yeah! This is more like it!" Ivory cackled, loving the power that the Chaos Emerald was giving him. His body was surging with energy, and his muscles were bulging. "I'm unstoppable now! No one can beat me!"
"Heh. That's what you think. I've beaten a lot of tough guys before." Sonic was not deterred at all. He was confident that he could beat this guy, regardless of the Chaos Emerald's amplification.
"None that have had this!" Ivory grinned as he then unleashed a shockwave of energy from his claws by swinging the air. Sonic put his arms up, blocking this wide radius shockwave.
But it was not enough. The force of the impact was enough to send him flying back. He was able to land on his feet and skid to a stop, though.
"Hah! It doesn't matter how fast you are. I've got the power of this emerald on my side! I'm faster and stronger than you ever will be. And no matter how much you try to outrun me, you can't outrun the power of the Emerald! So give up already, and maybe I'll leave you alive!"
He then slashed rapidly in the air, sending multiple energy shockwaves towards Sonic. The Blue Blur narrowed his eyes, quickly running to evade these incoming shockwaves. He would avoid the incoming waves, flipping each time some of them got close, dodging them, and moving in the process. He was fast, but he wasn't able to get close to Ivory. Not yet.
"That sure is some power..." Sonic thought to himself. "But it's not impossible to beat him like this."
As the shockwaves continued to rain down on him, Sonic had to keep his cool. He had to find a way to get around the attacks, and to get to Ivory. But the Mercenary was relentless, and he would continue to slash the air, sending wave after wave of energy at him. The ground was being blown apart, the floorboards were destroyed, and the walls were crumbling.
"Sonic Wind!" Sonic would then slide on the floor, his legs glowing as he kicked forward. A blast of wind flew out, and it headed straight towards Ivory.
"Hm?" Ivory saw the wind coming toward him, and he would simply step to the side to avoid it. "What was that? You think a gust of wind is gonna stop me?!"
"More than that!" Sonic smirked. "Sonic Wind!"
Another blast of wind came out of nowhere, catching Ivory off guard. This was enough to push him back a bit, and to stun him. "Ngh! Damn..."
"You're not the only one that's got tricks." Sonic grinned. "I've got a few of my own. Running fast's not my only specialty."
"Whatever. I'll still kick your ass. It'll just take longer." Ivory said, his energy claws returning. He would leap at the hedgehog, aiming to strike him. His speed was greatly increased thanks to the Chaos Emerald. But despite this, Sonic was able to dodge his strikes. Each swing of his claws, no matter how fast they were, would miss, and Sonic was able to easily evade them.
"Do you know why I started this Mercenary Guild in the first place?!" Ivory leapt into the air, coming down with a downwards slash that Sonic blocked, the force of the collission, sending ripples across the building.
"It's a dog-eat-dog world out there, and the only way to survive is to have a little edge over the competition. My family was full of scientists and smart people. All of 'em wanted me to follow their footsteps. To be like them. I didn't wanna do that. I wanted to make something of myself. To make my own mark on the world. To carve out a name that was my own. I was not gonna have people control what I can do, or what I can't do." He growled.
"And so...you decided to become an Outlaw?"
"Damn right. Me and my buddies. We didn't give a shit about any rules. We were free to do as we pleased. And we'd use violence if needed. Because, in this world, only the strongest can survive. And I was the strongest of the bunch. That's why I became the leader of the gang, the boss. And that's how I'm always gonna be. And with this Emerald, it'll stay that way!" With a loud cackle, he then harnessed a ton of power in this next attack.
Sonic's eyes widened as Ivory used the power of the Chaos Emerald to form a large energy projection of a wolf's head. It was a gigantic projection of his upper body, including the head and torso. The teeth were bared, and the mouth was wide open, and it looked ready to devour him. "Die, Hedgehog!"
With that, the projection would fly at him at high speeds. And as it approached Sonic, a huge chunk of the building was blown away due to the energy, the explosion being visible from afar as the trees were sent flying, and the ground trembled.
As for Amy and Sally, in their current position, while they couldn't use brute force at all to get past this bull, there was one method to try. A method that Sally had come up with.
"Amy...You're going to have to trust me on this..." Sally whispered. "We'll need to use our assets to get past him. You know what to do, right?
"Assets...? Y-You mean?!" Amy was shocked at that, having never done anything like that before. She blushed, feeling a little nervous about the idea. "Uh-uh-um..."
"Too nervous? That's fine." Sally gulped. "I'll do it myself..."
"Well? Given up already?" He stood there, still cracking his whip and waiting for a response since he had the two girls cornered.
"Not at all. It doesn't matter how you threaten us..." Sally took deep breaths before standing straight, putting her hands on her jacket. "Because you can't handle what comes next. After all...I'm barely wearing anything!" As she spread her jacket out, she suddenly caused her nipples to pop up, moving her legs a part a little bit to reveal her pussy.
Her most valuable parts were shown to the merc as a means of leaving him vulnerable. Her puffy nipples and plump pussy were in clear view of the Bull, and he couldn't help but stare at her.
"G-GUAH!" And as Sally expected, he was caught off guard by it, stunned in place as he couldn't help but stare. Even though Amy saw it as wild, it was at least effective. And because of this, she grabbed a hold of the nearest item, that being a lamp. While the bull was distracted, she smashed the lamp on his head, causing him to grunt in pain. "AGH!" The shock and heat of the lamp's bulb would cause the man to be staggered even more.
"There!" And as a bonus, Sally would kick the Bull right in the family jewels at full force, knocking him over, and giving him a nice, hard kick that made him double over in pain.
"Ooouh..." Needless to say, he would not be getting up for a while.
"Hah...Wow. What a plan."
"Feminine charms. Figured it'd do the trick." Sally chuckled. "Let's go." And the two would rush off, hoping to regroup with Sonic, and also hoping that he was okay after that huge explosion. "Sonic...please be alright."
As for the aftermath of that attack, there was now a huge billow of smoke coming out of the building with a massive chunk of it missing. Ivory's attack certainly did a lot of damage as he looked at the path of destruction he made, grinning.
"Heh. Hehe..." He chuckled, believing he had defeated Sonic. "Boy there's gonna be a lot of repairs after this. But...I won! Naturally! How's that, Hedgehog?!" He started laughing wildly, claiming victory.
"Not bad." But his laughter was soon cut off once a voice replied to him. Ivory looked onwards to see a figure standing in the smoke. Lo and behold, it was Sonic the Hedgehog. The smoke cleared as he was still in one piece and still looked pretty healthy.
"What?! You're kidding me!" Ivory was shocked, seeing that Sonic had survived the blast. "How did you-" He would then see something on his hand. A small ring. It was a gold ring that had a small golden glow to it. "A Ring?!"
"Yeah. I always keep one of these around her and there. Pretty nifty since they can absorb a ton of damage." Sonic smiled. "And it was enough to absorb that big wolf head of yours. One day, I wanna do that without using a ring. That'd be sweet."
"But... the Chaos Emerald should've guaranteed me victory! I put my all into that!"
"That's a lot of power, sure. But you're not unbeatable. And besides...I could've dodged that attack either way." Sonic shrugged, putting on a cocky grin that irritated Ivory. "You're tough though. No doubt about it. You had me sweating here and there. But...I can see your defeat already. It's time to end this." He narrowed his eyes.
"Don't you...MESS WITH ME!" Ivory raged, his aura glowing brightly. With a powerful roar, he would unleash a barrage of energy waves at Sonic. They came from his claws, and he was not letting up. He was determined to take him down.
"Hm!" Sonic amped it up some more, seeing that he had to take Ivory down as soon as possible. And so he did. As the energy waves approached, Sonic suddenly got faster than before, moving his legs at rapid speeds. And as Ivory was unleashing his onslaught, Sonic was able to zip through his attacks, avoiding them all, and making his way to his opponent.
"What the-" Ivory's eye widened, and he was shocked. Sonic was fast. Incredibly fast. He could not believe his eyes. But before he could even react, the Hedgehog was already upon him, and the Wolf's attack had ended. Sonic would land a punch to the gut, causing Ivory to gasp in pain and agony.
"I'm not done yet." Then, in the blink of an eye, Sonic would spin his body at high speeds, and he would kick at him, hitting his face, sending him flying to the side.
"Ngh..." Ivory stumbled back, and he was dazed and confused. His head was ringing, his vision was blurry, and his ears were buzzing. He could not hear a thing, and he could not make out what was happening around him. "How did he get faster...?!"
"Hyah!" Sonic then delivered a barrage of rapid-fire kicks, all aimed at his chest. They came in so fast, and so hard, that Ivory could not even defend himself. The kicks were like bullets, and each one hurt worse than the last. And as the barrage of attacks continued, the Mercenary was forced to stumble backwards until he hit the wall.
"Damn you...!" An enraged Ivory roared as he summoned forth the wolf projection once more, ready to put his all in a second time. And Sonic was more than ready for it.
"Hm...!" Sonic closed his eyes as he stood before the wolf projection. He took a deep breath before opening his eyes, a blue aura flashing from him for a moment. And just then, he leapt forward with that same blue aura appearing around his body. "Sonic Rush!"
He was running towards the projection at incredible speeds. He was moving faster and faster, and his speed was increasing exponentially. The wind whipped around him, and the world blurred, and the ground cracked beneath his feet. As the wolf headed toward him, it opened its jaws wide, and the mouth was about to devour him. But instead, he would run right into it, and phase right through the projection, and in the next instant, the projection was gone, and the entire area was filled with a blue light.
Sonic then delivered a powerful punch to Ivory's jaw as the final blow. This was enough to send him flying, and he was sent crashing through the walls and the roof. He was then flung far away, and he was sent spiraling to the ground below.
The Wolf would crash in the woods, landing on the grassy plains, and rolling to a stop. His eyes were blank, his head was spinning, and his vision was fuzzy. Soon, he passed out, completely knocked out by that punch.
"You live how you want..." Sonic said as his hand was smoking. "Just like how I choose to live freely."
"Sonic!" Amy and Sally called to their friend, rushing up to him.
"Hey, you two. Looks like you're all safe."
"Yeah. We were cornered by some guy, but we handled him." Amy said, smiling. "Sally had quite the plan."
"Hm. This body came in handy." Sally posed, having her hip to the side and showing confidence.
"Good work. Let's get going. This place sure is a wreck now. "
"Right." Sally nodded and the two followed him outside.
The guild had largely been defeated. All their resources out the window and their leader down for the count. It was a huge victory for Sonic, who had managed to take on a whole base of Mercenaries, and their boss, by himself, with a little help from Amy and Sally, of course.
And as an extra bonus reward, the Chaos Emerald Ivory took off Sally's hands was now back in possession of the princess.
"Oh my God..." Sally had a relieved sigh, sitting down and laying back on a tree. She was resting in the forest, after the fight was over. She was looking at the sky, and the stars were shining. "You actually beat him, Sonic. Thank you." She had a smile on her face, and she was grateful. "You saved me. And you got the emerald back."
"No problem. But man, Sally...I heard what happened to your kingdom. How Eggman came down and attacked it."
"Yeah...everything's ruined now..." Sally sighed, remembering the tragic events. "I don't know what to do now or where to go..."
"No one from your Kingdom managed to escape?" Amy asked.
"As far as I know, no. My father...I fear the worst has happened to him...and my mother..." Just thinking about it greatly saddened Sally. Tears were beginning to form in her eyes, and the three of them sat on a log in silence. "Whatever Eggman has done with them I don't know...And I'm scared. I can't even risk putting the others in peril since he could come for Elise at any time. What do I do...?"
"Hm." Sonic looked up at the night sky as well, staring at the stars. "Well, it's not time to give up just yet. Sally...you have no home anymore, and nowhere to go. So, why not come with us?"
"Travel with you two?"
"Yeah. For a while anyways. If you're this lost, I can help you out. I'm sure there's a place for you that can chime in." Sonic smiled.
"You really think? But where? I can't think of any other place." Sally questioned.
"What about other zones that Eggman hasn't reached yet? How about...? Ah! What about the Star Light Zone?!"
"The Star Light Zone?" Sally repeated. "Oh, I've heard of that place! That's the zone that's known for its technological advancements and its beautiful skyline. Will that do the trick?"
"Only one way to find out." Sonic held his arm out to her. "Don't worry, Sally. If there's a chance, we'll see if we can save who or what's left of your kingdom. But we're gonna have to really get out there to make it happen. So, let's travel together. Whaddya say?" He smiled at her, offering his hand to her.
Sally was quiet for a few seconds, and she was thinking about it. It was a good idea. She would be safer if she had friends, and she could always use the extra company. Plus, she wouldn't be alone anymore. But still, she was not sure if it was a good idea to have someone else with her. But, she trusted Sonic and Amy. So with that, she took Sonic's hand. "Alright. Let's do it." She nodded.
"Awesome. Then that settles it." Sonic grinned.
And speaking of Eggman, already he was on the move, continuing his quest for the 7 Chaos Emeralds. Specifically, he was back at his base of operations, having his Badniks do all the work this time.
And of course, the newly formed Roboticized Mobians. He had roboticized many of the Mobians from the Acorn Kingdom, making them loyal servants to his future empire. There were still some unroboticized mobians in captivity here that were set to be next.
One of these captives was a girl by the name of Bunnie Rabbot, a busty rabbit Mobian that was next to be roboticized like the rest. And she was struggling against her bindings. "Ugh...let me go, scrap heaps! Ya'll won't get away with this!"
She had been stripped of her clothes, and the only thing covering her was her bra and panties, as her body was strapped to the machine, ready to be roboticized at any moment, and the badniks that were operating the machine were all around her, preparing her to become a robot. The machines were humming and buzzing, and the lights were flashing, and the sound of machinery echoed throughout the room.
"Let me go, please!" Her screams could be heard from outside the base, but no one could hear her, and she was all alone. She was scared, and she was crying, and she was struggling to break free from her restraints, but they were too strong. She was trapped in the machine, and she could not escape.
"Roboticization will commence in 30 seconds." A robotic voice announced.
"N-No! Not yet! Wait, please!" Bunnie begged, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. She was going to be turned into a robot, and there was nothing she could do to stop it. She could only wait, and hope that someone would rescue her. Or even better...she could hope that a hero would come and save her. But that was not likely to happen.
"25 seconds." The robotic voice sounded. Bunnie's eyes were full of tears, and she was sobbing, and her heart was beating fast. She was scared, and she was frightened, and she was terrified. She did not want to become a robot. She wanted to be free, and she wanted to live.
The countdown kept going and the cries of Bunnie made it seem like her fate was sealed. She would soon be a slave to Eggman.
"10...9...8...7..."
Bunnie could not take the thought of becoming a mindless drone for the mad scientist. It was a nightmare. And the fact that her kingdom was now under his control, and the citizens were all roboticized or worse, made her heart sink. She could not believe that this was happening. That her life was about to be over.
"6...5...4...3...2...1...Robotization commencing."
The process of her transformation had begun, and Bunnie's screams of despair filled the room. As the machines hummed and buzzed, and the lights flashed, and the sound of machinery echoed throughout the room, the robotic arms extended and began to touch her body, slowly turning her flesh into a metallic shell.
"AAAAAAAAAAGH!" She screamed, much like all those that had to go through this process. But just then, as it was continuing, the process would suddenly come to an instant halt, the machine powering down. "Ah...Hah...Hah..." A greatly pained Bunnie panted repeatedly.
"It seems there is a bit of a power outage..." Another Robotic Mobian said. "I will check the backup generator and see what is wrong. The process cannot continue as usual and fluidly with this sudden pause. Put her back behind the cages."
"Affirmative." One of the robots said, unstrapping the rabbit from the machine, before carrying her in a rough manner to the cage. "Proceed with caution."
"Ugh..." Bunnie groaned as she was placed back in her cage. All she could think about was how she was not done getting roboticized and she would soon be a robot. Now, her right arm and her legs were mechanized. She looked at them, seeing that her lower limbs and her right arm were gone. In its place was a robotic leg and a robotic foot, and her upper limb was replaced by a cybernetic one. It was painful, and her eyes were still full of tears. "Oh...God..."
Away from this at the moment, all the way back at Station Square, currently, Chris was being a curious little boy. With his family currently asleep along with mostly everyone in Station Square, save for some cars and night places being open, something was on his mind. The car his Grandpa gave him.
He mainly wanted to experience the auto-driving feature once more, being too curious about it.
Chris Thorndyke would sneak out of his room to the garage of the mansion, making his way to the car, and quietly opening the door to the garage and the front seat. He was wearing his casual clothes under a small jacket and a hat, just to keep himself warm. After all, he had to drive the car in order to activate the auto-pilot.
"Alright...It should respond to me automatically..." Chris said. So, he would sit in the driver's seat, put on his seat belt, and start the engine. The car hummed to life as the lights came on. "Sweet. I guess...I'll go to the city park." He would say the destination, and the car would beep, responding to his command.
"Destination: City Park. ETA: 15 Minutes." The AI would reply, and the car would begin to move on its own. It would drive out of the garage, and onto the road, and off to the destination. "Current speed: 50 Miles Per Hour. Estimated arrival time: 11 Minutes."
Chris would sigh, feeling a bit bored. This would be a long ride, but at least it would give him some peace and quiet. He would lean back in his chair, looking up at the roof of the car, and staring at the stars. They were beautiful, and the night was dark. And as the minutes passed, he would look out of the window, and see the sights.
But he wondered what the sights across the rest of the world were. Especially the other side where the events of Eggman's attack took place. All of it looked fantastical to him. But he knew he couldn't go there as to not worry his family.
"Hmm...What else can this thing do?" Chris then checked out the extra controls of the car, wondering what they were capable of. Chuck had yet to show him them, but it didn't stop Chris from being curious. "Wonder what this button does..."
And as soon as he pressed it, in an instant, the car would speed up at a rapid rate, and Chris's eyes widened. "W-Woah, Woah!" His heart was racing and his stomach was in knots. He did not know what he had done. The car was going faster and faster and the trees were whizzing by in a blur. "Grandpa didn't tell me it could do this!"
The car was not only moving at high speeds, it was also showing a destination. It showed a mini-map on its screen, and it was telling him to turn left. "Turn left in 500 meters." It said. "ETA: 160 Minutes." Chris was freaking out, and he was sweating. He was not sure what to do. Should he turn left? Or should he keep going straight?
Not that he could stop it. In fact, he had no idea how to stop this car at all since he didn't figure out all the buttons. So at it stands now, wherever this car was headed to, he'd have to wait for it to stop. And if he could not, he was going to be in a lot of trouble. "This is bad...this is really bad...Grandpa's gonna be so mad!"
