Chapter 210: Return of the Beldam Part 1: Other World Returns

It was the stroke of Midnight when all of the fillies and colts who went with the crusaders to watch movies and everyone was finishing up another movie as Applejack was walking in, clapping her hooves and spooking all of the foals there to turn around and look at her, relieved that it wasn't a monster coming after them.

"Alrught everypony, it's time for bed." Applejack said.

"Aw, but Applejack, we were getting to the good movies." Apple Bloom said.

"Yeah, couldn't we just watch one more?" Scootaloo asked.

"Please?" Sweetie Belle said.

"Sorry everypony, but Ah'm afraid the answers now." Applejack replied as all the fillies and colts were groaning in disappointment. "Yer parents are waitin' for all of ya. But don't worry, Ah'm sure Spyro would be more than happy to have ya back again for more of these movies."

Everyone in the room then started to walk out as the Crusaders followed behind them last, Applejack flipping the switch to turn the lights off in the room, but as she did, the dark lights reappeared in the room, floating around as if watching everyone leave before going into the vent and following the air duct all the way outside, where the lights watched the fillies and colts leave the farm before turning their attention to the farm house where the crusaders were walking inside, so the lights flew after them, getting into the house before it closed and disappearing in the light, being invisible to the naked eye as they followed Applejack to Apple Blooms and Scootaloo's room, flying overhead near the light as Applejack finished setting up the guest bed.

"Thanks for letting me stay the night Applejack." Sweetie Belle said.

"Not a problem Sweetie Belle." Applejack replied. "Rarity said she was busy finishing a line of dresses and needed the rest after she was done."

"I just wish we could have spent more time watching more scary movies." Scootaloo said. "We were getting to the good ones like Alien and a movie called Predator."

"Ah know, but Spyro wanted to make sure y'all got a good nights sleep." Applejack said, tucking Apple Bloom in before moving to Scootaloo. "Besides, he told me those movies aren't meant for fillies until yer old enough."

"But we're literally eleven!" Apple Bloom exclaimed.

"Still, yer not ready for such things yet." Applejack said, finishing tucking Scootaloo in before going to Sweetie Belle. "Besides, the both of ya have chores to do in the mornin' and yer gonna need your energy." She then gave each of the fillies a kiss ont he head, walking over to the doorway as she flicked the lights off and turned to the fillies. "Good night crusaders. Sweet dreams."

She then closed the door, leaving the Cutie Mark Crusaders alone as Sweetie Belle yawned, positioning herself to sleep as APple Bloom laid back, but it was Scootaloo who stayed up a little longer and looked to the others.

"You can't seriously be thinking about going to sleep, do you?" Scootaloo asked. "It's the weekend! We can do whatever we want!"

"Ah know, but Applejack's right." Apple Bloom said yawning. "We got a lot of chores tomorrow and we need to be at our best."

"Besides, we can hang out and try some new ideas for what our cutie marks will be." Sweetie Belle said, yawning as she then fell asleep.

"I guess." Scootaloo said, yawning as she laid her head down in her pillow.

However, as she was laying there, she thought about how much better it would be if she didn't have to do chores or listen to any adults, being allowed to do what she wanted to do, eat what she wanted to eat, basically do what she felt like doing without being told no. She then closed her eyes, ready to go to sleep, but as she slept, the dark orbs of light came down and swirled around, shooting to the corner of the room near the dresser as it then created a door, a wicked green light shining in the cracks of the door. On the other side of the door was a female being with buttons for eyes and wearing a dark dress, sewing up two dolls for two targets, one of a human girl in a raincoat with dark hair and wearing rain boots while the other looked like Scootaloo, same coat color, mane color and the same stunted wings. When she was finished, she walked over to the window and released the two dolls, grinning as she waited for her prey to take the bait.

It was now morning in Equestria and the Crusaders were still asleep even though the rooster crowed, the three fillies sleeping through the rooster as Applejack got up and was walking to get some breakfast, stopping by the fillies room and peaking in to check on them, only to find they were still asleep, but rather than waking them up, she gently closed the door so they could sleep a little more before they got started on their day. As Applejack was walking down the hall, she then stopped by the makeshift nursery they had set up for the foals, picking them up and putting them on her back, giving them a quick nuzzle to say good morning to them before going down the stairs. She saw that Big Mac and Granny Smith were already up and preparing the plates for breakfast, the high chairs ready for the two baby ponies as she approached.

"Mornin' Applejack!" Granny Smith said, looking to the stairs as if expecting someone else to come down. "Where's Spyro and the Crusaders?"

"Oh, Apple Bloom, Scootaloo, and Sweeite belle are still asleep." Applejack said, putting the fillies in the high chairs. "They stayed up too late last night. As for Spyro, last Ah saw, he was escortin' Fluttershy back home."

"Oh, is that so?" Granny Smith asked with a smile. "Sounds to me like he's expandin' the herd again."

"Granny!" Applejack shouted. "Not in front of the kids!"

"Oh, sorry." Granny Smith said. "Anyway, we better get them little fillies up. We got a lot a work today and we need all the hooves we can get."

"No need." Scootaloo said, the Crusaders walking down the stairs. "We could hear Applejack yelling."

"Sorry for wakin' ya." Applejack said. "Ah was tryin' to let ya sleep a little longer so y'all would be fresh for today."

"It's alright Applejack." Sweetie Belle said. "I need to get back to Rarity anyway. She's probably wondering where I am right now." Sweeite Belle then started to walk to the door, opening it and when she did, she spotted a doll that looked like Scootaloo, picking it up and looking at it. "Uh, Scootaloo, I think this is for you."

Everyone walked over to the door and saw that Sweetie Belle had the doll that looked like Scootaloo in her magical aura, seeing the doll and took it, examining it while looked creeped out.

"Ok, that's freaky." Scootaloo said. "I don't remember asking for a doll to look like me."

"That is kinda freaky." Apple Bloom said. "Kinda like that movie we saw last night. You know, the one with the girl who get's a doll that looks just like her and ends up in another world."

"Yeah, that's kinda weird." Scootaloo said, looking at the doll. "Anyway, we better get started on our chores for the day, then we can try to find our Cutie Marks!"

"Y'all can say that again!" Apple Bloom said. "What are we waitin' for? Let's get goin'!"

The fillies then started running out of the door, Scootaloo leaving the doll behind while Applejack just shook her head, lookign at the doll and picking it up to put in the fillies room. Meanwhile with Spyro and Fluttershy, the two were on the shy mare's couch with the lemon yellow pegasi on top of Spyro, both peacefully asleep as Spyro had Fluttershy in a gentle embrace, snuggling on top of the sleeping prince until they both heard the birds chirping as they day started, causing them to stir awake. Fluttershy was the first to wake up, blinking a couple of times before looking around, seeing that she was laying on top of Spyro and blushed a bit, but she just smiled, laying back down on him as he started to stir awake and saw the mare on top of him and smiled as he planted a kiss on her head.

"Morning little butterfly." Spyro said.

"Morning Spyro." Fluttershy replied. "Last night was magical."

"Oh, which part was magical for you?" Spyro asked. "The adventure we had last night, or what came after?"

Fluttershy smiled at him, reaching over and kissing him on the lips, both holding that kiss for a minute before they stopped.

"All of it." Fluttershy replied. They both laughed a bit before they kissed again, both having their eyes closed as they kissed, but when Spyro opend his eyes again, he could see the Beldam standing over them with a wicked smile. Spyro immediately felt his heart sink, ending the kiss and flipping Fluttershy over and making her blush even more as he stood over her. "S-S-S-Spyro, I-I-I'm flattered, but shouldn't you...?" She then saw he had his Keyblade out and a freaked out look on his face, knowing that meant he saw something. "Spyro, what's wrong?"

"I saw something." Spyro replied. "Something I haven't seen in a few years."

"What was it?" Fluttershy asked.

"The Beldam." Spyro replied.

At Malefor's fortress, Orion appeared again as the statue of the dark dragon started t glow again, dark purple mist coming out of the statue as he chuckled.

"Aphara, come!" Malefor shouted, the pink dragoness walking in while rubbing her eyes.

"Do you know what time it is?" Aphara asked.

"Aphara, the Pink Palace has returned." Orion said, waking her up. "The time is now to go get what we need from that world."

"About time." Aphara said. "So what do we need from this world?"

"This won't be easy as you'll need the Eyes of the Beldam." Orion replied.

"The Eyes of the what?" Aphara asked. "What's a Beldam?"

"A creature that devours the life force of children." Orion replied. "You'll need it's eyes to break this seal."

"Geez, why don't you give me another impossible task why don't you." Aphara said. "How in the world am I going to get this thing's eyes?"

"I'm sure you'll figure it out." Orion replied. "Now go before the Prince can reseal this world!"

Aphara rolled her eyes and then walked out of the room as a dark vortex appeared, allowing her to enter the Pink Palace without being noticed by the monster. Meanwhile in Equestria, the fillies were down in Spyro's garage again sorting through and putting all the movies they got out before Spyro could return, putting the last one away as Scootaloo flew back down to the ground as her Light Wings disappeared.

"There, that's all of them." Scootaloo said. "Now, what else is next on the list?

"Well, we got to finish bucking some apples and then we gotta get ready for cider season." Apple Bloom said.

"Oh boy, you know Rainbow Dash is going to loose her mind trying to get to the Cider first." Scootaloo said. "Even with the one mug per pony rule, she's going to be fighting hoof and nail to get a mug."

"Oh, don't ah know it." Apple Bloom said. "Anyway, we better get back upstairs before Spyro comes back."

"Comes back from what?" Spyro asked, the fillies seeing that he was there.

"Oh, hey Spyro!" Scootaloo said. "We were finishing up putting the movies we watched last night away before we got to our chores!"

"Atta girl Scoots." Spyro said, ruffling her mane. "Now run along and get to your chores. I gotta report to Master Yen Sid before taking Rarity to see the doctor. Gotta see how the foal's doing." The three of them then started making their way up where the two fillies then started to run to get their chores done while Spyro closed the door, flipping a couple of switches as the room then changed to Master Yen Sid was sitting at his desk with Sora, Riku, and Axel standing there and turning to look at him as the machine activated.

"Spyro." Yen Sid said. "You're a couple of months late on your report."

"Sorry sir, had a Computer Virus try to take over my garage." Spyro said. "Anyway, things here have been rather interesting. And in the other worlds."

"Yes, I've ready your written report." Yen Sid said, seeing a picture of Salem. "And of this Salem. From what you wrote, she and Maleficent are working together now?"

"Afraid so." Spyro replied. "And from what Sally told us, they're after the Infinity Stones."

"Seriously?" Sora asked.

"This could be a problem." Yen Sid said. "Spyro, if push comes to shove, you are to return to the World of Marvels and remove the Infinity Stones from that world. They must not fall into Maleficents hands, or else all of the worlds will be in mortal danger."

"I understand sir." Spyro said, looking to the clock. "Uh, I need to get going sir. I need to make an appointment for Rarity to see the doctor tomorrow."

"Why, she sick?" Riku asked. "Why can't she go herself?"

"Well, she's... pregnant." Spyro replied.

"Seriously!?" Axel exclaimed, smacking himself int he face before looking to him. "Dude, you seriously can't keep it in your pants, can you?"

"Hey, at least I can get a girl." Spyro said. "Now if you excuse me, I have an appointment to make."

He then pressed the button to end the communication and walked out, shaking his head as he went out of his garage and started to make his way to the Hospital to make the appointment for tomorrow.

"Hey Spyro!" Scootaloo called out, she and Apple Bloom running towards him. "Would it be alright for us to go to the tree house now?"

"Did you finish your chores?" Spyro asked.

"Well, not exactly." Scootaloo replied. "We tried to clean the pigs, but they just got dirty again as soon as we turned our backs."

"I hear you there." Spyro said. "Don't worry about the pigs. What about the rest of your chores?"

"Well, we were supposed to help Grany Smith get ready for Cider season." Apple Bloom replied.

"And did you?" Spyro asked.

"Not yet." Apple Bloom replied.

"Then you should go help her." Spyro said. "Cider season is in the next few days and we need to be ready for the season to start. Knowing Rainbow Dash, she'll try bulldozing through everypony to get the first mug. I'm off to the hosiptal to make an appointment with the doctors to check on Rarity and the baby. I won't be done long and I'll help with the rest of the chores so you all can hang out with your friends."

He then walked away and left the two fillies alone, Apple Bloom looking disappointed while Scootaloo looked upset, storming off back to the house, bursting through the door to her room and climbed up into her bunk, looking at the doll that was sitting at the foot of her and growled at it.

"What are you starring at?" Scootaloo asked, picking it up. "I love my brother, I truly do, but sometimes I wish he wasn't always so strict. And I wish he could tell me when I can get my first lightsaber. I've been waiting and waiting, but I still havent got it yet. Sometimes I think he's still babying me, even after I've proven I can take care of myself." She then fell back onto her bed, looking up at the roof as she sighed. "I wish he'd just trust me a little more."

"Hey Scootaloo, ya in our room!?" Apple Blom shouted. "Granny needs some help movin' the buckets and havin' them ready for buckin' the remainin' Apples for the season!"

"Yeah, I'm on my way!" Scootaloo shouted back, putting the doll down.

She then got out of her bed and climbed down, walking out of the house to go help Apple Bloom with what Granny Smith asked them to do, but as they left, the dolls eyes started to glow. A while later, it was night time in Equestria and everyone was asleep, Spyro and Applejack sleeping in their room, peacefully as the young hybrid had his arm around Applejack's barrel, a wing wrapped around her belly as if protecting it while Big Mac was fast asleep with Smarty Pants right next to him, Granny mumbling in her sleep while Yang and Ruby slept in their room, agreeing to let Weiss stay with them until they could find a more permanent place to stay. As for Apple Bloom and Scootaloo, they were both asleep, enjoying the dreams they were having, but as they slept, the door hidden behind the chest started to glow, the glow of the light hitting Scootaloo in the eyes as she wrinkled her nose and turned her body, avoiding the light to sleep, but then she heard what sounded like humming, which woke her up as she looked around, wondering where the humming was coming from when she spotted the hidden door, looking at it quizzically as she threw the covers off and quietly got out of her bed.

She slowly approached the door and pulled it open, finding that what was behind the door was a blue and purple tunnel of light shining through what appeared to be some kind of film like substance, putting her hoof on it and feeling how silky smooth it felt before looking back to Apple Bloom, seeing she was still asleep, so she decided to go and explore a bit, crawling through the tunnel towards what looked like another door. As she reached the door, she pushed it open to find she was in the middle of what looked like the living room of another home, the wall aper was greyish white with dull looking furniture and with a picture of a boy eating ice cream, along with snow globes underneath the picture, on top of what appeared to be a fire place. Before she could say or do anything, she heard creaking and turned around, finding a human girl with black hair and wearing orange pajama's coming out of the same doorway that she came out of, both of them locking eyes with one another as they saw each other.

"Ok, not the strangest thing I've seen today." The girl said.

"Believe me, I've seen stranger." Scootaloo said, freaking the girl out.

"Wait, you can talk!?" The girl asked as she got up. "How can you talk?"

"Uh, with my mouth." Scootaloo answered. A second later, they caught of a whiff of something cooking, looking to the door nearby as they smelled it. "What's that smell?"

"I don't know." The girl replied. "But it smells good. Smells like... Chicken?"

"Chicken?" Scootaloo asked, not wanting to know what Turkey smelled like.

They both then started walking towards the kitchen area of the place, walking to a couple of sliding doors and the girl slide the doors open to reveal another woman in a white sweater and black pants cooking something.

"Mom?" The girl asked. "What are you doing here so late at night?"

A second later, the woman turned around and revealed she had buttons for eyes, which creeped them both out, but for Scootaloo, it looked eerily familiar.

"Oh, there you both are!" The Mother said. "Supper's almost ready. I'm just putting the final touches to some herbivore options for Scootaloo."

"Scootaloo?" The girl asked, looking down at the filly. "That's your name?"

"Got a problem with that?" Scootaloo asked, looking at the girl. "And is she really your mother?"

"Not in the slightest." The girl replied. "She doesn't have buttons for eyes."

"Oh, don't worry sweetie." The mother said. "I'm your other mother. Now, go get your other father and let him know that Supper's nearly ready. We're just waiting for Scootaloo's other brother."

"Other brother?" Scootaloo asked, not liking it as she felt that something was off.

"Yes, he'll be here shortly." The other mother said. "Now, go get your other father. He's in his study."

The girl was suspicious of the other mother, walking away with Scootaloo walking after the girl, both starring at the other mother in suspicion as they walked to another door, walking out of the kitchen to get to the study.

"You have that feeling that something is off about a certain place or person?" The girl asked.

"Believe me, I have that feeling right now." Scootaloo said. "My brother's been teaching me how to protect myself and this place is sending chills down my spine."

They then started to approach the study, the girl opening the door to reveal the room was full of musical instruments and what looked like worksheets of music, the other father at the piano working on something.

"Hello?" The girl asked.

"Hello Scootaloo and Coraline." The other father said, turning to face them.

"Wait, Coraline?" Scootaloo asked, feeling the color drain from her as she looked at the girl.

"Yeah, got a problem with my name?" Coraline asked.

"You're both just in time to hear my new song." The other father said. "Wanna hear it?"

"Uh, my father can't play Piano." Coraline said.

"No need to." The other father said, a pair of gloves on a mechanical device coming out and putting themselves onto his hands. "This Piano plays me."

He then turned around and started to play the Piano as the entire musical instrument started to turn around as he played.

[Other Father]

Making up a song about Scootaloo and Coraline!

They're a peach, they're a doll, They're pals of mine!

They're as cute as a button,

In the eyes of everyone who ever laid their eyes on Scootaloo and Coraline!

When they come around exploring,

Mom and I will never ever make it boring,

Our eyes will be on Scootaloo and Coraline!

Ther music then stopped and he turned around to look at them, Coraline and Scootaloo both completely speechless by how it went, snapping out of it as Coraline approached him.

"It was pretty good." Coraline said. "But other mother said dinner's nearly ready."

"Oh, if you're starving then raise your hand." The other father said as both his hands got raised. "Or both." Both Coraline and the other father chuckled a bit as he got up, walking out of the room while Scootaloo was right behind them, not liking how this was going. They then came down to the dining room where the other mother was finishing setting up the table, putting the chicken on the table as there was also some salad and flowers for Scootaloo, each takign a place on the table as the other mother and father knelt their heads and put their hands together in prayer. "We give our thanks and ask to bless our mother... chicken breast."

They both then started to chuckle as she rang the bell, the setting starting to turn as Scootaloo got some food, but didn't have much of an appetite as she was lookign at the other mother with suspicion, Coraline however grabbed a leg and sniffed it, taking a bite out of it and liking it instantly.

"Mmm, this chicken is good." Coraline said as she staretd to devour it.

"Hungry, are we?" The other moster asked.

"Is there gravy?" Coraline asked as she put peas, corn, and mashed potatoes on her plate?"

"Well, here comes the gravy train." The other mother said as the train came around. "Choo choo!"

The train came around, making Coraline laugh as it came around and poured some gravy on her potatoes, but Scootaloo was not liking where this was going, looking to he other mother as she felt something was wrong while knowing what she was really like.

"Oh, this is so good." Coraline said. "Is there anything to drink?"

"Oh, thirsty are we?" The other mother asked as the chandelier came down with many different kinds of milkshakes. "Any requests?"

"Uh, Mango Milkshake?" Coraline asked.

A second later, the chandelier stopped on a shake that was colored orange and she grabbed her glass, pouring herself a shake and drinking it while Scootaloo got a chocolate shake, drinking it, but still keeping an eye on the other mother. A moment later, the other mother brought a couple of cakes, placing them both in front of Coraline and Scootaloo as candles appeared with the words 'Welcome home' appearing.

"Ok, that's freaky." Scootaloo said.

"Welcome home?" Coraline asked, looking to the other parents.

"We've been waiting for you both for a long time." The other mother said.

"For us?" Scootaloo asked.

"Yes, for both of you." The other father said. "This place wasn't the same without you kiddo's."

"I didn't know I had another mother." Coraline said.

"Of course you do." Other mother said. "Everyone does."

"My parents left me at an orphanage." Scootaloo said. "My brother took me in and raised me."

"I know sweety." Other mother said. "And he should be here any second now. And when you're done eating, I thought we'd play a game when your brother get's here."

"You mean like hide and seek?" Coraline asked.

"That sounds perfect!" Other mother said. "Hide and seek, in the rain."

"What rain?" Scootaloo asked, lightning cracking as if answering her question. "Nevermind."

"But what about the mud?" Coraline asked.

"We love mud!" The other father said.

"Mud facials, mud baths, mud pies..." Other mother said. "It's great for poison oak."

"How'd you know about that?" Coraline asked, now getting creeped out. "Uh, thanks for everything, but I gotta get back home to my other mother."

"But I am your other mother." The other mother said.

"I meant my other, other mother." Coraline said. "Mom number one."

"Yeah, and I need to get back home too." Scootaloo said. "Spyro might get worried about me if I'm gone for too long."

"Spyro?" The other mother asked, Scootaloo sensing a sudden shift in her. "Your... your brother's name is Spyro?"

"Yeah?" Scootaloo asked.

"Well, isn't that interesting." Other mother said, trying not to loose it.

"Uh, I think we should get to bed." Coraline said.

"Oh, no worries sweetheart." The other father said. "You're beds are all made up for you."

"Come along sleepy heads." The other mother said.

The other mother and father then started escorting Coraline out of the dining room and took them to the next floor of the house, walking into a room where a couple of beds were ready and there were toys that were walking, talking, and flying around, amazing Coraline while Scootaloo found everything very sketchy, wanting to get out of there as soon as possible.

"This place is amazing." Coraline said.

"I think I'd like to go home now." Scootaloo said.

"Alright now, let me see that oak." The other mother said.

She then took out a jar of mud and took Coraline's hand, spreading the mud on her hand as the young girl yawned and laided down in bed, Scootaloo moving around the other parents with great skepticism before getting into the bed, looking at them as they took care of Coraline.

"Will sleeping here take me home?" Scootaloo asked.

"Of course sweetie." The other mother said, walking over and gently stroking her head. "And don't worry, your other brother will be here tomorrow night."

Scootaloo was still a bit hesitant to believe the other mother, but then felt her eyes getting heavy as she yawned, laying back on the bed and she fell asleep, closing her eyes as the other mother tucked her in. In the morning, Scootaloo found herself in her own bed back in Sweet Apple Acres, looking around in surprise before looking down, finding Apple Bloom there as the rooster crowed, waking everyone up to begin the day as Apple Bloom got up.

"Mornin' Scootaloo!" Apple Bloom said. "Ready to start the day?"

"Apple Bloom, we got a serious problem." Scootaloo said. "The Beldam is real."

"Beg pardon?" Apple Bloom asked.

"It appeared last night." Scootaloo said, hopping down. "I saw the door, crawled through it, Coraline was there and-"

"Wow, wow, wow, back up Scootaloo." Apple Bloom said. "Y'all probably had a dream last night, that's all."

"I'm telling you, it was real!" Scootaloo said. "Honest!"

"Alright, say Ah do believe ya and it is real, why didn't Ah see the door?" Apple Bloom asked.

"Because you were asleep that's why." Scootaloo replied. "Seriously, you snore so loudly, you probably didn't even hear."

"Still, ya can't prove that it really did happen." Apple Bloom said

"Actually, I can." Scootaloo said, walking to the door. "Come on, I'll prove it really happened."

Scootaloo then started to run down the stairs, rounding the corner to see thast everyone was gathering at the breakfast table when Spyro spotted them.

"Morning you two." Spyro said. "I was about come up and see whatr was taking you two so long."

"Sorry, we kinda got a slow start." Scootaloo replied. "Hey Spyro, is it ok that we have another movie night this Friday?"

"I don't see why not." Spyro replied. "Any specifics?"

"Oh, nothing specifis." Scootaloo replied. "Hey Spyro, think we can watch a movie we saw on Nightmare Night?"

"Depends." Spyro replied. "What movie did you want to watch?"

"Something called Coraline." Scootaloo said, which Spyro panicked.

"Not that one!" Spyro exclaimed, surprising everyone as he cleared his throat. "Sorry, sorry. "I'm sorry Scoots, but that one is off limits."

"Why?" Apple Bloom asked. "It's just a movie."

"It's more than that." Spyro replied. "It's the key to unlocking the Pink Palace, the home of the Beldam."

"T-the Beldam?" Apple Bloom asked, looking to Scootaloo.

"Yes, the Beldam." Spyro replied. "It's an evil fey that targets children, bringing them into a world full of magic and wonder, playing off of the childs needs and wants, making them want to live in that world forever. And when you say that, the Beldam will present you with a box with a couple of buttons and a sewing needle."

"But... why?" Scootaloo asked.

"It's to trap the victim." Spyro replied. "When you say yes, the Beldam will put you to sleep and take your eyes, replacing them with buttons, basically trapping you in that world forever as she drains you of your life force, feeding off your soul until she finds a new child to devour."

The room was completely silent, leaving them all in shock and fear while the color seemed to drain from Apple Bloom, Scootaloo gulping loudly as she backed away.

"T-thanks for the warning." Scootaloo said.

"My pleasure." Spyro said, looking at the time. "Oh boy, I need to get going. The appointment I set up to check on Rarity's baby is at eight and we don't want to be late. Sorry I can't help you choose something else."

"Don't worry, we'll find something." Scootaloo said. "You just take care of Rarity."

Spyro smiled and walked past his sister, ruffling her hair as he ran out of the door while Scootaloo and Apple Bloom looked at one another as they knew they were in trouble. In the tree house, the Crusaders had just met up with Sweetie Belle and told her what they had just learned, Apple Bloom pacing back and forth while Sweetie Belle looked nervous, biting her nails while Scootaloo was banging her head against the wall, knowing they had just messed up big time and knew they needed to fix it.

"What are we going to do!?" Sweetie Belle asked. "If this thing is as dangerous as Spyro says and what we saw in the movie, it's going to be hunting us no matter what!"

"Maybe we should tell Spyro." Apple Bloom said. "Tell him we watched the Coraline movie last night without realizing how dangerous it is!"

"And leave Coraline to fend for herself?" Scootaloo asked.

"But she can take care of herself." Apple Bloom pointed out. "She's smart and she's proven to be capable fo handling herself."

"Yeah, but we didn't get to finish the movie." Scootaloo said. "Remember, somepony wanted tp watch something more scary and we all voted to watch something else. So we don't know if she survives or not."

"But isn't that meddling?" Apple Bloom asked. "Didn't Spyro say the World Order needs to be kept in check?"

"Not if it means leaving a friend to some monster she might not be able to escape from!" Scootaloo replied. "We have to help her."

"But how?" Apple Bloom asked. "Ah don't think she'll be willin' to listen to ya if you go sayin' that the other mother is a monster without proof. And Ah doubt that showin' her the movie will help as it'll probably hurt her brain."

"Wait, the movie?" Scootaloo asked, thinking of something. "That's it! I can drop subtle hints, not enough to make it obvious, but just enough to give her a warning not to trust the other mother, er, the Beldam."

"That's a pretty good idea." Apple Bloom said. "But what kinda hints?"

"I'll think of something." Scootaloo said. "But it's important that we don't let anypony else know about this. If they know a foal stealing monster is on the loose, who know's what kind of panic that will spread."

"You got a point there." Sweeite Belle said. "Everypony in ponyville would leave the moment they heard about this."

"And it's imperative we don't tell Spyro unless it's absolutely necessary." Scootaloo said. "Otherwise he'll freak out and we'll be grounded for life."

"Well what are we waitn' for!?" Apple Bloom asked. "Plus we might get a Cutie Mark in beating monsters!"

"Heck yeah!" Scootaloo said.

"CUTIE MARK CRUSADERS BELDAM BUSTERS, YAY!" They all said at the same time.

Meanwhile at Ponyville Hospital, Rarity was on the chair with the doctor having a look at a screen with the ultrasound to see the baby in the excited mare, Spyro standing next to her as they looked.

"And there it is." The doctor said. "Congratulations you two. Especially you your highness. Now you are the father of two."

"Yeah, it is kinda exciting." Spyro said, looking to Rarity, who looked back and held his hoof.

"Oh, I can't wait to see our baby Spyro darling!" Rarity said. "Do you think it's a boy or a girl?"

"I don't know." Spyro replied. "We'll just have to wait and see."

Rarity was smiling, looking back at the ultrasound, but Spyro then felt a sudden chill go down his spine, the room going dark as he then heard some sinister laughter, turning around to see where it was coming from when he saw, to his horror, the Beldam, smiling at Spyro as if it were happy to see him before waving her hand to greet him.

"I'm back." The Beldam said.

"No, that's impossible." Spyro said, feeling his own heart freze as he then saw Scootaloo in it's hands, unconcious and alive, but as it picked the unconcious filly up, thousands of teeth rowed the mouth as it moved the filly to her. "No." It's mouth got closer and closer, ready to devour her as Spyro got his saber out. "NOOO!" He then ignited the blade and swung wide, nearly hitting Nurse Red Heart as she came in, the plasma blade inches from her, but he realized before he hit her and deactivated his weapon. "Sorry, sorry. I didn't meant to do that."

"It's alright your highness." Nurse Red heart said. "After all the danger you've been stopping, it's natural for you to be on edge."

The nurse then walked back out, deciding to come back later while the doctor and Rarity were looking at him, watching him put his saber away before taking in a deep breath to calm down.

"Spyro dear, you alright?" Rarity asked. "You seem stressed."

"Yeah, yeah I'm alright." Spyro replied. "Just... just a vision."

"A vision?" Rarity asked, getting off the chair and walking to him. "Of what?"

Spyro looked to Rarity, seeing the concern that was on his face and knew it was something bad.

"A monster." Spyro replied as lightning shot past him. Looking out to see it was Derpy on a cloud again.

"Sorry!" Derpy said. "Trying to get this thing back to the sky for the rain storm tonight.

"It's alright Derpy." Spyro said. "No harm no foul."

Derpy smiled and took the cloud back into the sky so that it could be used for the storm. At night, everyone was back in their beds, Spyro and Applejack getting ready, but Spyro was still on edge after seeing that vision, feeling like something was wrong, but couldn't understand what it was or why he was seeing the Beldam again after a long time. Applejack was walking in after getting her shower and saw the worried expression on his face, knowing he was thinking about something and knew it had to be something bad.

"What's eatin' ya sugarcube?" Applejack asked. "You've been pretty quiet there."

"Oh, it's nothing AJ." Spyro said, walking to the bed and getting in. "I've been having these visions of the Beldam, the creature I sealed away."

"Ah remember ya talkin' about it." Applejack said. "Why are ya worried about it?"

"Well, I only had these visions when the Beldam was getting ready to try and kidnap a child." Spyro replied. "And everytime it tried, I managed to stop it. After it tried for the third time, I decided it was time to seal that thing away forever. But now I'm seeing it again and I don't know why. It's friving me crazy."

Applejack knew that he was not happy with what he saw and knew it was affecting him, but she just smiled and wlaking over kissing him on the cheek as she got in the bed.

"Don't you worry none sugar." Applejack said. "If there's anypony who can figure anything out, it's you. And Ah'm not worried about that Beldam thing as Ah know that when it comes down to it, you'll be there to keep us safe."

Spyro smiled, leaning over and the two then kissed, ending the kiss as they laid down in the bed, turnign the light off as Spyro wrapped his foreleg around Applejack, wrapping his wing around her for extra protection as if to keep her safe during the night incase anything came. Apple Bloom's and Scootaloo's room, the two fillies were just waiting for Spyro and Applejack to go to sleep, hearing the gentle snores coming from Spyro, signaling they were asleep, so they got out of the bed and rushed over to the door next to the chest, watching as it started to glow again.

"The Beldam is calling." Scootaloo said.

"You sure you want to go through with this?" Apple Bloom asked. "We can still tell Spyro yoy know."

"Not until we know Coraline iss safe." Scootaloo said, looking to her friend. I'm not letting that thing get to her."

"But what if Spyro get's up in the middle of the night and comes to check on us?" Apple Bloom asked. "Ya heard them through the wall, Spyro's a little jumpy."

"Don't worry, he won't wake up until the rooster crows." Scootaloo replied. "That'll give me time to get in, warn Coraline and get out before the Beldam knew what happened."

"Ah hope yer right." Apple Bloom said. "Be careful. If anythin' happens to ya, Spyro's never goin' to forgive me for not talkin' ya out of this."

"Don't worry, if I do this right, he won't even know." Scootaloo replied.

She then walked over to the door and opened it, revealing the same path she saw last time and went inside, the door closing behind her as Apple Bloom watched, going back to her bed and getting it before turnign to face the little door, keeping an eye on it as if expecting the Beldam to come out and attack her, but then felt her eyes get heavy and fell asleep, the door glowing a sinister green as she slept.
