Chapter 43

Miff Busters

After the day of fun on the beach that the girls had, things went back to normal with the usual, hard training for the upcoming JHOL.

At UA High's Gym Gamma, all the first-year students were hard at work, doing all sorts of physical activities.

After some training, they all took a short water break, and Arisa and Felicia spoke with each other.

"I'm glad we have these small water breaks during training," the heterochromatic girl commented.

"As am I," the British girl agreed. "All of this training is rather quenching."

"Though some of us needed this water break more than others," Arisa said.

"Indeed," Felicia nodded.

The two exchange students glanced to see Kaminari and Mineta, both who were sitting down on the ground. The two boys looked sweatier and more exhausted than the others, and they drank more water than them.

For a few days, Kaminari and Mineta had to do extra physical training, courtesy of coach Lola, and do more homework, provided by Midnight, based on the medical lessons they learned. That was more of their punishment for peeping on the girls at the beach park.

The two girls saw how tired and exhausted the two Class 1-A guys were from all the extra training and learning they had to do.

"I feel bad for them," Arisa spoke sadly. "It was wrong of them to peep on us at the beach, but the extra training and learning is really draining for them."

"Be that as it may, those two deserve to be knackered after what they did," Felicia admitted. "Imagine if they did that to the ladies of other teams. Team Japan would be disgraced and shamed because of their actions."

"That's true," the Japanese American girl agreed.

"Also, the punishment came from Midnight and Miss Yamada, and it was approved by Mr. Aizawa and Speed Girl," the British girl reminded her friend.

"I know," Arisa remembered. "Midnight was really looking forward to punishing them, especially Mineta."

"Miss Midnight did say she wanted to get back at Mineta for him getting the best of her during the Final Exams," Felicia added.

"Hopefully, the days of extra training and learning for Kaminari and Mineta will be over soon," the heterochromatic girl said. "We don't want to them to be tired, injured, or sick when we have to leave for Athens, Greece."

"For their sake, the two of them should hope so," the British girl stated.

Once the water break was over, the first-year students went back to training.

Soon, Midnight and Ms. Heal came to get the support team members.

On the walk to the auditorium, Arisa and Felicia chatted with each other.

"Felicia, have you noticed some of our teammates look angry?" Arisa questioned.

Both exchange students glanced to see Iida, Mineta, and Jiro looking a little mad.

"Yes, they do seem miffed," Felicia nodded. "I remember seeing Jiro and Iida angry for some reason during our training."

"Me too," the Japanese American girl agreed. "I even remember seeing Mineta and Kai mad for some reason."

"I also remember seeing Usagi miffed," the British girl added.

"I hope everything is okay with them, and nothing terrible happens," Arisa said.

"Indeed," Felicia agreed.

In the auditorium, the support team learned about different types of injuries and which first aid kit supplies can help treat them.

While learning, Monoma was still eccentric with taunting and provoking the Class 1-L and 1-A students. Though Kendo was there to keep him in check and quiet him, his comments irked Felicia, and Arisa noticed it.

Also, Kaminari and Mineta were getting drowsy from all the extra training and learning they had to do. Luckily and unluckily for them, Midnight cracked her whip in front of the two boys so they would wake up and pay attention.

Once the learning was over, the support team members went to their respective locker rooms.

-My Hero Academia-

On the way there, Arisa and Felicia noticed Jiro, Iida, and Mineta still looking angry.

"I can't believe they're still mad for some reason," the Japanese-American girl observed and told her friend.

"Perhaps we should discuss with the other ladies to see if they know why some of the boys are miffed," the British girl suggested.

"And why some of the girls are mad too," Arisa added.

"Indeed," Felicia agreed with her friend.

In the girls' locker room, the two exchange students decided to talk to the others to figure out what was going on with some of them and some of the guys.

"Excuse me, girls," Arisa started, getting the Japanese girls' attention as they were about to get changed. "Felicia and I would like to know if some of you are angry about something and why."

"Also, if you could tell us if which of the boys might be miffed and why," Felicia added.

"I don't know much about what the boys' problems are, but I'm fine," Kendo started.

"I'm good, ribbit," Asui joined in. "I saw Bakugo being mad at Todoroki and Drago, but that's just usual for Bakugo."

"I'm good. So are Deku and Kaminari from what I've seen, except for Kaminari and Mineta looking tired from the extra training," Ochaco chimed in. "I heard from Deku that Kai looked a little annoyed with Mineta for some reason, but Kai didn't explain to Deku why."

"I heard the same thing about Kai from Eli," Usagi added.

"Really? I hope Kai can resolve whatever he has with Mineta," Arisa said.

"What about the rest of you?" Felicia questioned the other girls.

"I just don't like that Monoma. All that bragging about his class and that insulting he does of our class and Class 1-A rubs me the wrong way," Usagi complained with a frown.

"Honestly, I don't like Monoma's taunting and bragging as well, Usagi," Class 1-L's British girl admitted.

"Sorry about him," Kendo apologized. "I'm doing what I can to keep him in check."

"I'm surprised that after all those karate chops to his neck, he hasn't understood why you do those to him," Felicia said.

"Yeah. He's a real pain in the neck," Usagi added.

"I don't like Kirishima's occasional shouting. It hurts my sensitive ears," Jiro stated. "And I saw some disagreeing between Iida and Eli for some reason."

"I don't quite like Junko's recent drooling. It's disgusting to see it on the ground, even if it eventually evaporates. And I'm worried about someone touching it, stepping in it, or slipping on it," Momo admitted.

"I'm sure Junko doesn't mean to drool on purpose. Sometimes it happens when people sleep and she is constantly sleeping," Arisa pointed out.

"This is the first time Junko has drooled while sleeping. Perhaps it's a temporary condition," Felicia pondered.

The girls looked at Junko, who was sleeping and drooling with her mouth open.

"Either way, I hope this temporary drooling condition of hers ends soon, before someone gets hurt," Momo said.

"I hope Kirishima's shouting stops soon," Jiro joined in.

"The same with Monoma's bragging and insulting," Usagi added.

-My Hero Academia-

After that, the three complaining girls started changing their clothes.

"Okay then," Kendo said, then she got changed too.

Soon, Felicia and Arisa, both of whom looked concerned, joined up with Ochaco and Asui, both who were also concerned, to talk to them.

"Hey, Ochaco and Tsu," Arisa greeted them.

"Have you two noticed some of the girls here arguing?" Felicia inquired.

"We have," Ochaco confirmed. "I've never seen Jiro and Yaoyorozu like this before. I'm a little worried."

"Me too, ribbit," Asui agreed. "Should we try to help them or tell Yamada?

"I think it's best we don't meddle in things that aren't our problem, even if they're our friends, classmates, and teammates. Since the coaches went home for the day, I guess we could tell Miss Yamada tomorrow when we see her," Arisa suggested.

"Perhaps she and the other coaches could have some ideas on how to stop the small arguments," Felicia proposed.

"I hope they do, ribbit," Class 1-A's frog girl said.

"Maybe some ideas they have can stop the arguing before it gets worse," Class 1-L's heterochromatic girl stated.

"Even if our seniors don't have ideas, maybe our friends and classmates can solve their problems on their owns," Class 1-A's gravity girl was optimistic.

"Indeed," Class 1-L's British girl agreed. "Though I think our seniors would have some good ideas."

Then she had a mad look on her face as she continued. "Except for that Fernando. He seems like a bully and wouldn't willingly help unless asked to or commanded to do so."

The three girls looked worriedly at Felicia.

"Are you okay, Felicia?" Arisa asked her friend.

"Yes, I'm jolly good," Felicia assured her with a grin. "I'm not fond of bullies is all. Hopefully, either our classmates and teammates can resolve their own issues peacefully, or the coaches have some ideas on how to help them."

"I hope these tiny tiffs don't turn into big problems," Ochaco wished.

Tsu and the two exchange students nodded in agreement.

-My Hero Academia-

The next day, the JHOL team participants arrived at UA High early as usual. Though some of them still looked annoyed and angry.

In the girls' locker room, Felicia, Arisa, Ochaco, and Asui changed quickly and left the room quickly. That left the other girls confused and wondering why they left hurriedly, even the sleeping Junko.

Outside, the four girls talked on the way to Gym Gamma.

"I hope Yamada and the coaches have some ideas to stop the arguing. I don't like seeing our teammates arguing with each other," Arisa said.

"Indeed. I'm a little peeved of Monoma's bragging about his class and taunting of our friends and classmates," Felicia admitted.

"I hope Kendo can do more than incapacitating him to stop Monoma. Such as talking to him herself, having his classmates or friends, if he has any, to talk to him, or putting a muzzle on him," Class 1-L's British girl suggested.

"I think the muzzle might be a bit much, Felicia," Class 1-L's Japanese American girl commented and sweat-dropped.

"I really don't want these tiny tiffs to turn into louds feuds, big brawls, or catfights," Ochaco stated. "I don't think I want to get into the middle of that."

"Me too, ribbit," Asui agreed. "It might be hard for us to stop the arguing, but it might be easy for the coaches to do it. It would be easier if the teachers got involved to stop it."

"I hope the arguing doesn't get that serious for the teachers to help us," Arisa wished.

-My Hero Academia-

Once they arrived at Gym Gamma, the girls found Lola, along with the other coaches, and spoke to her privately about the small tiffs between some of the students.

Though the third-year senior girl told them that she noticed the tiffs and assured them things would be alright.

Hearing that made the girls feel more confused than relieved.

"Do you think she already has something planned?" Arisa asked her British friend in a whisper.

"I suppose she does," Felicia responded in a whisper.

Before they could ask Lola what she meant by that, the rest of Team Japan arrived at the gym.

After that, the four first-year girls joined up with the rest of the team, and the same people from yesterday still looked annoyed.

'I wonder what Yamada has planned to help our teammates,' Arisa thought.

'I hope whatever Miss Yamada has planned can quell these arguments before they become worse,' Felicia thought.

With the team together, the first-year students started doing the usual morning exercise stretches. Though forced to do it because of Lola's Rhythmic Voice Quirk. It was accompanied by her singing the song Power Play (from the anime Shinzo/Mushrambo), by Ayumi Miyazaki, played on the boombox.

Nothing bothers me right now, for I'm living the way I want to live.

Even though I sometimes stumble, I just need to stand back up.

The past should stay in the past. My willpower is making an explosion.

I can't be stopped easily. There's nothing that scares me.

When I have shattered the endless the sky with a kick and sensed the future,

I will send you as much of my burning energy as you want!

I want to embrace many dreams. Sail around the never-stopping world!

I'll send my dream on the wind of hope on my journey.

I can feel that wind in my hand right now.

Until I find the future I'm searching for, I'll just believe in my power.

Then they did a few more stretches, accompanied by more music and Lola's singing. One of those songs included a catchy American 80's song of disco, funk, dance pop and classic rock. Lola had the first-year students, via her Rhythmic Voice Quirk, nodding their heads to the side, moving with claw-like hands to the left and right, and clapping their hands over their heads.

After the stretches ended, Lola had the first-years rest as she and the other coaches had to get some things.

Once the third-years left the gym, most of the students briefed a sigh of relief as they collapsed on the ground, lying down in pain and exhaustion. The rest just sat down, waiting for the next activity.

When the collapsed students had regained enough energy, they sat up and most of the students chatted with each other. Though most of them looked at certain individuals angrily and tried to ignore them while chatting.

Arisa, Felicia, Ochaco, and Asui got together in a group.

"I'm not liking how some of our friends and classmates are looking at each other, Tsu," Class 1-A's gravity girl noticed.

The four girls saw one group had Midoriya, Iida, and Todoroki in it, and that Iida sometimes glared at Eli.

"Me too, ribbit," Class 1-A's frog girl admitted with a nod.

The group of girls looked at the group of Kai, Eli, Usagi, and Junko, who was sleeping on Usagi's shoulder. While Eli and Usagi talked, Eli sometimes glared back at Iida, and Usagi glared at Monoma, who was sitting with his classmate Kendo. Also, Kai sometimes glared at Mineta.

"Same here," Class 1-L's Japanese American girl agreed.

The four girls glanced at the group of Momo, Jiro, Mineta, and Kaminari. While they were discussing, Mineta sometimes glared back at Kai, and Jiro glared at Kirishima. Also, Momo sometimes glared at Junko, who didn't notice because she was sleeping.

"Indeed," Class 1-L's British girl concurred.

The groups of girls saw the pairs of Kirishima and Bakugo, and Kendo and Monoma. While Kirishima talked and not noticed Jiro's glares at him, Bakugo glared at Yuki, who was sitting by himself. As for the two Class 1-B students, Monoma just snidely smirked at Usagi as she glared at him, and Kendo just sighed and shook her head in exasperation.

"Seeing them glare at each other like that has me worried," Arisa voiced her concern, looking at her friends Eli and Usagi.

Then she glanced at Kai, who still occasionally glared at Mineta.

'I hope Kai doesn't do anything rash,' Arisa thought.

"I know what you mean," Ochaco understood, looking at her classmates Momo and Jiro.

"Though seeing Bakugo angry and glaring isn't surprising. That's just his usual self, ribbit," Asui pointed out.

"Even so, hopefully the glaring and arguing ceases soon and not fester for the others. Also, those who aren't arguing don't enter the fray," Felicia wished.

"Well, the only ones not glaring or arguing are Midoriya, Kaminari, Todoroki, Kirishima, Neru, and Yuki Drago, ribbit," Class 1-A's frog girl noted.

"Junko doesn't argue because she mainly sleeps," Class 1-L's heterochromia girl explained.

"And Deku isn't really the arguing type," Class 1-A's gravity girl mentioned.

"Kaminari and Kirishima aren't really the arguing types too, and Todoroki is usually cool-headed to not argue, ribbit," Tsuyu commented.

"Yuki Drago is usually calm and quiet as well," Class 1-L's British girl stated.

"It's good to know that the rest of our friends and classmates probably won't argue like the others," Ocacho said, glancing at Midoriya.

The other girls noticed Uraraka's stare.

"Are you okay, Ochaco?" Asui asked her friend.

"What? Yeah, I'm fine, Tsu," Uraraka scrambled to assure her friend with a flushed face.

"I hope you're right about what you said, Ochaco," Arisa wished.

The heterochromia girl then glanced at her childhood friend Todoroki.

'It's good to know that Shoto probably won't get into an argument, despite his fight against Midoriya at the Sports Festival," she thought.

Arisa proceeded to look at Kai, Eli, and Usagi.

'I hope the arguing doesn't get out-of-hand for them and doesn't turn into a big brawl where they could get hurt, including Kai,' Class 1-L's Japanese American girl thought.

"Arisa, are you alright?" Felicia questioned.

"Yeah, I'm okay," Arisa replied.

After that, Felicia glanced at Yuki Drago.

'Though Yuki is usually calm and quiet, I hope he doesn't argue back against Bakugo. That would be horrid for both of them,' she thought.

Then the British girl looked at Kendo and Monoma.

'Much like Usagi, I also don't like Monoma's taunting of our class and Class 1-A. Why can't Kendo find other ways to stop her classmate's nonsense?' the Class 1-L girl thought with a glare.

Then Arisa noticed her friend's look.

"Felicia, are you okay?" she asked, snapping her friend out of her thought and glare.

"Yes, I'm alright," Felicia assured her friend with a grin.

"Okay," Arisa accepted.

'I don't know about that. From the way Felicia was glaring at Monoma and Kendo, I think she might argue with the others. I hope Felicia doesn't do that,' Class 1-L's heterochromia girl thought.

Eventually, the coaches returned. The SMH Club held folded tables and nets, and Fernando held small plastic balls and paddles.

While Chojiro and Leo set up and Fernando just watched, Lola stood in front of the first-year students.

"Everyone, get ready to play some table tennis," she announced. "Or ping pong as some people call it."

The mad students grunted in response, making the rest of the first-years worried.

"HAHAHAHA!" Monoma laughed. "If most of you aren't up for it, then it looks like Class 1-B will get to win for a change! HAHAHAHA!"

"Sorry about him," Kendo apologized.

-My Hero Academia-

Soon, the team was divided into was pairs of two to face off against each other as they played without using their Quirks.

With the tables and nets set up and each first-year handed a paddle, Lola had certain pairs play against each other.

At one table, Kai and Mineta, who stood on a stool, were pitted against Asui and Felicia.

"Take this," Mineta served the ball to the girls.

"Ribbit," Asui hit the ball to the boys.

Kai silently hit the ball back to the girls, and Felicia hit it back to them.

As the ball came in between the boys, Mineta couldn't reach it with his short arms. Kai couldn't get to it because then he'd get too close to Mineta's head of sticky spheres.

They missed the ball as it bounced on the floor and out of bounds, scoring the girls a point.

"Ribbit. Good job, Felicia," Asui grinned and congratulated her.

"Thank you, Asui," Felicia responded with a grin.

Meanwhile, the guys weren't in a good mood.

"You couldn't get the ball?" Mineta madly questioned his partner.

"Yes, I couldn't because I was worried I would get too close to the ones on your head," Kai madly answered.

The guys glared at each other for a bit until Mineta looked at the girls. The Class 1-A boy saw the two girls high-five each other in victory as their chests moved. Mineta oogled at the girls, which annoyed Kai as he sighed and rolled his eyes.

When the girls focused back on the match, they noticed the oogling Mineta and the annoyed Kai.

"I don't like how Mineta is looking at us," Felicia shivered in disgust.

"Me too, ribbit," Asui agreed. "And Kai looking annoyed is a problem."

"Indeed," Felicia concurred.

At the next table, Midoriya and Kaminari faced off against Eli and Iida.

The four boys were in a heated match with the ball going to and fro between them.

As the ball headed to Eli and Iida, the Class 1-A rep got into position to hit the ball. Though he swung and missed, the Class 1-L rep ran and got behind him. Eli swung his paddle to hit the ball, but he missed too.

"We lost a point there," Iida said, adjusting his glasses.

Then his partner put his hand on Iida's shoulder.

"Yeah, it's bad we didn't get that. But hey, there's always next time," Eli was optimistic.

Suddenly, Iida got angry, brushing away his partner's hand, as he looked at Eli.

"Why did you go behind me to hit the ball? That is not proper table tennis procedure. Also, you could have hit me or I could have hit you," the Class 1-A class representative strictly shouted, moving one of his arms in his usual chopping pattern.

"Come on, this isn't a real game. It's just for fun. I thought trying something new would be fun," the Class 1-L class representative countered.

"Even so, you need to remember the rules for the real game in the JHOL. One mistake can cost our team victory," Iida stated, glaring at his partner.

"Okay, okay, I get it. You don't have to be so serious and strict all the time you know," Eli replied, rolling his eyes and looking mad.

Meanwhile, their opponents were getting along well.

"Alright! We got a point!" Kaminari cheered.

"Yeah, we did," Midoriya agreed.

The two classmates then looked at their arguing opponents.

"I've seen Iida get mad before, but never like this, and it's a first to see Eli get mad," Kaminari was worried.

"You're right about that, Kaminari. I hope things don't get worse," Midoriya voiced his concern.

At another table, Arisa and Kirishima played against Bakugo and Yuki.

As the ball was going back and forth between them, Bakugo almost hit the ball with his paddle, but Yuki hit it instead. Arisa and Kirishima both swung and missed to hit the ball as it bounced out of bounds, scoring a point for their opponent's side.

"Hey! Dragon bastard! You got in my way! I was about to hit the ball!" Bakugo angrily yelled at his partner.

"Does it matter? Either way, our team scored a point," Yuki calmly responded.

"I wanted to be the one to make the point! Don't get in my way again, dragon bastard!" Class 1-A's explosion boy kept yelling, getting in his partner's face.

"I don't understand why you wanted the point, but you should get away from my face," Class 1-L's dragon boy looked angry, warning his partner.

At the same time, their opponents watched their arguing.

"The way Bakugo and Yuki Drago are arguing is concerning," Arisa noticed as she picked up the ping pong ball.

"Well, I'm used to seeing Bakugo get angry, but not Drago," Kirishima said. "Hope things don't get heated between them."

'I hope so too,' Arisa thought.

"Maybe we should keep playing," she suggested as her partner nodded in agreement.

"Let's do this!" he shouted.

At a different table, Momo and Junko dueled against Jiro and Ochaco.

When Jiro heard Kirishima's yell, it bothered her as she covered her ears in pain. It also distracted her long enough as the ball bounced past her, hitting the ground.

"Darn it. Sorry about that, Uraraka," Jiro apologized to her partner as she uncovered her ears.

"It's alright, Jiro. We can get that point back," Ochaco assured her. "What happened?"

Someone's shouting bothered me," Jiro answered, looking angry as her earphone jack pointed to Kirishima.

"Jiro, are you alright?" Momo questioned.

As the Class 1-A vice rep was about to check on her friend, Momo saw that she almost stepped in a puddle of drool.

She looked to see the drool puddle came from Junko's slightly open mouth.

"Neru! I know you're constantly sleeping, but you could at least do so with your mouth closed or wear a face mask!" Momo yelled and glared angrily.

Junko didn't respond as she just kept sleeping and faced away from Momo. That angered Momo as she kept glaring at Junko.

While that happened, Jiro and Ochaco just watched.

"I'm worried for Yaoyorozu," Class 1-A's gravity girl said.

"Me too," Class 1-A's earphone jack girl agreed. "I'd say the same for Neru, but it's hard to tell with her constantly sleeping."

At the last table, Todoroki and Monoma were in a match against Kendo and Usagi.

The ball bounced between both groups as they kept hitting it.

"Here it comes," Kendo stated as she swung and hit it with her paddle.

As the ball bounced on the table and approached their opponents, Todoroki silently hit the ball back to the girls.

"I'll hop to it," Usagi stated, hitting the ball back to the guys.

With a smug grin on his face, Monoma hit the ball hard back to the girls.

The force of his hit made the ball bounce so fast that it surprised the girls. Neither Kendo or Usagi could hit the ball back in time as they swung and missed, and it hit the floor.

"HAHAHAHAHA!" Monoma laughed smugly. "I just got the best of you, rabbit girl! My time to shine has come!"

Hearing that made Usagi angry as an anger mark (or cross-popping vein) appeared on her temple.

"You don't have to rub it in!" Usagi yelled angrily and glared at him.

"Sorry about him," Kendo apologized to her.

Then the Class 1-B girl turned to her classmate.

"Monoma, stop with the taunting!" she shouted.

"I feel sorry for you Kendo. To be on that side with that unlucky rabbit girl," Monoma apologized smugly.

"You have Todoroki on your side, and you don't like both of the other hero classes," Kendo pointed out.

"Yeah, but at least he's somewhat more competant than that ridiculous rabbit girl," the Class 1-B boy countered.

"Try rubbing your feet for some luck, ridiculous rabbit girl! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Monoma laughed.

Hearing that kept Usagi enraged as Kendo sighed at her classmate's loud behavior.

Todoroki calmly looked on at the arguing as he noted, "This looks like a problem."

Overhearing Monoma's loud and smug laughter made Felicia look angry as an anger mark appeared on her temple.

'I honestly can't stand more of Monoma's taunting. Why can't Kendo do more to stop him?' she thought.

"Felicia," Asui spoke, snapping the British girl out of her thought.

"Are you okay?" Class 1-A's frog girl asked.

"Yes, I'm jolly good," Felicia assured her with a grin. "Let's get back to playing."

Though Asui didn't believe her as the frog girl looked worried.

As the matches kept going, the quarreling students kept irritating each other. After a few matches, the coaches allowed the first-years to use their Quirks in the remaining matches.

Though from there, things got worse for the arguers.

While Kai and Felicia didn't use their Quirks, Asui jumped with her Frog Quirk. Mineta held one of his purple balls in his hand and stuck his paddle on it to give himself a longer reach.

"Take this!" Mineta shouted, hitting the ping-pong ball to the girls.

With the ball in sight, Felicia hit it to the guys and then Kai hit it back.

The ball came at the girls so fast and strong that Felicia missed it with her paddle.

As the ball was almost out of bounds, Asui leapt far enough to reach it.

"Ribbit," she said, hitting the ball to the guys.

As Kai tried to reach the ball, he noticed his teammate's paddle with sticky ball was in his way.

"Mineta, move!" Kai shouted.

However, Class 1-A's short guy wasn't moving for some reason.

Kai's voice fell on deaf ears as Mineta, with a dopey grin on his face, was distracted by the girls' beauty and bodies to listen or move.

Kai still tried to reach while avoiding the sticky ball, but he ended up hitting Mineta. Both guys fell to the ground as the ball hit the ground.

"Oh no," Felicia noticed.

"Are you two alright?" Asui asked the guys.

The two of them got up as they looked at each other angrily.

"Would you stop gawking at the girls to focus on the game? Get your little head in the game!" Kai argued.

"Little?!" Mineta shouted.

As they kept arguing, Asui and Felicia just watched them.

"I'm going to try and stop them," Asui decided, walking to the guys.

"Alright," Felicia responded with a nod.

At the second table, Kaminari and Iida didn't use their Quirks in the match. Though Eli used his Quirk to give himself some dragonfly wings to fly slightly off the ground.

The ping-pong ball was hit back and forth between both groups of guys.

"Here it comes," Kaminari said, hitting the ball to his opponents.

Iida hit it back, and soon Midoriya had it in his sights. Using his Quirk, Midoriya made his serve stronger as he swung and hit the ball.

The power of his serve made the ball come faster towards Eli and Iida. They saw the fast ball coming and tried to act quickly to hit it.

"I've got it!" Eli shouted, flying to it.

"I have it!" Iida yelled, running to it.

Both guys were so focused on the ball that they didn't see where they were going and ended up hitting each other. The force of the collision made Eli lose his dragonfly wings as he and Iida fell to the floor, and the ping-pong ball went out of bounds.

Their opponents winced as the crash happened.

"That had to hurt," Kaminari commented.

"Are you two okay?" Midoriya asked worriedly.

As Eli and Iida got up off the floor, they both glared at each other.

"I told you I had it! Why didn't you listen?!" Eli shouted.

"I couldn't hear you! And neither could you with those noisy wings you made!" Iida yelled.

"So you're saying it's my fault we lost?!" Class 1-L's class representative suggested.

"Yes! You don't think before you act!" Class 1-A's class representative responded.

Midoriya and Kaminari looked worriedly as the two guys argued.

"I got this, Midoriya," Kaminari assured him, walking to the arguers.

"I hope so," Midoriya said.

At the same time, the pair of Arisa and Kirishima didn't use their Quirks in their match. Yuki flew slightly off the ground with his dragon wings thanks to his Quirk.

Arisa hit the ping-pong ball to her opponents, and Bakugo hit it back with his paddle.

"Die!" he shouted.

As the ball was sent back, Kirishima managed to hit it with his paddle.

"Got it!" he shouted.

Seeing the ball coming towards him, Yuki hit it back hard to his opponents.

With the ball coming in fast towards them, Arisa and Kirishima positioned themselves to hit it.

"I got it!" Kirishima yelled.

Luckily, he managed to hit back to his opponents.

With the power of the hit and the speed of the ping-pong ball, it hit the table hard as it went up in the air.

"It's mine!" Bakugo shouted.

He used his Explosion Quirk to quickly ignite the sweat in his hand into an explosion to propel himself into the air.

Coincidentally, Yuki flew higher in the air to reach the ball.

Both boys hit each other in the air, knocking themselves down to the ground and missing the ball as it hit the floor.

The two boys also hit the floor as their opponents watched.

"Bakugo, you alright?" Kirishima wondered.

"I hope they are," Arisa stated.

Bakugo and Yuki got up as they glared at each other angrily.

"You dragon bastard! You made miss the ball! I told you I had it!" Class 1-A's explosion guy yelled.

"Why didn't you realize sooner that I had it?" Class 1-L's dragon guy argued back calmly.

"You're slow in the air for someone with wings!" Bakugo insulted Yuki.

"You're slow for someone with a quick temper," Yuki insulted him back.

When Midoriya overhead Bakugo's yelling, he went to go calm down his childhood friend/bully.

"Kacchan," Midoriya said, then walked over to him and Yuki.

Arisa and Kirishima watched as their respective classmates argued.

"I think we should try to stop them," Arisa suggested.

"Bakugo! Drago! Stop this! It's not manly at all!" Kirishima shouted.

Arisa cringed from his shouting as she covered her ears and commented, "That's some loud shouting, Kirishima."

Meanwhile, Ochaco, Momo, and Junko didn't use their Quirks in their match. Jiro used her headphone cable-like earlobes to hold her paddle for a longer reach.

After Ocacho hit the ping-pong ball to her opponents, Momo hit it back with her paddle.

When it looked like the ball was out of reach for Ochaco, Jiro managed to hit it back thanks to the extended reach her earlobes provided her.

Junko, even while sleeping, hit the ball back with her paddle.

As Jiro saw the ball coming to her, she then heard Kirishima's loud shouting.

"Ack!" Jiro shouted, holding her ears in pain and missing the ball as it hit the floor.

"Jiro!" Ochaco shouted, looking at her worriedly. "Are you okay?"

Momo, also worried for her friend, wanted to go to see her.

"Jiro, are you.." Momo started to say, but then she slipped on something on the floor.

"UWAH!" Momo shouted, falling to the floor.

"Yaoyorozu!" Ochaco shouted.

Momo then got up, but then felt something wet on the back of her shorts and legs. She then saw liquid on the floor and that it came from the sleeping Junko's open mouth, realizing it was her drool she slipped on.

"Disgusting!" Momo shouted, glaring angrily at Junko. "Do you have any idea how wrong and disgusting your drool is?!"

Junko didn't respond as she kept sleeping.

"I know you can hear me even though you're sleeping!" Momo yelled.

Ochaco looked at the pained Jiro and the angry Momo and made a decision.

"Jiro, I'll be right back. I'm going to stop Yaoyorozu," Class 1-A's gravity girl told her classmate.

While Ochaco walked to the other side of the table, Jiro recovered from the pain.

When she did, Jiro glared angrily at Kirishima.

"Okay, I've had enough of his shouting," Jiro said, then walked over to her classmate.

"Kirishima!" Jiro shouted angrily, surprising him and Arisa.

"Jiro?" Kirishima was confused.

"Are you okay?" Arisa asked.

"No, I'm not," Jiro replied, then glared at Kirishima.

"All your shouting, Kirishima, is too much! You go on and on about being a man! Well you're a manly idiot!" Class 1-A's earphone jack girl complained.

That insult ticked off Kirishima and angered him as she yelled "What did you say?!"

The two classmates argued with each other as Arisa watched. Then the Class 1-L girl saw Midoriya reach the arguing Bakugo and Yuki.

"If Midoriya can handle them, then I should try to stop them," Arisa decided, approaching the arguing Jiro and Kirishima.

At the final table, Kendo used her large hands to make hard hits, and Monoma copied her Quirk to have large hands too. Usagi hopped up and down on the floor, but Todoroki didn't use his Quirk.

As Todoroki hit the ping-pong ball to his opponents, Kendo hit it back hard with the force from her large hands.

With the ball coming in fast, it hit the table hard and went high in the air. Though Usagi, thanks to the hopping power from her Rabbit Quirk, managed to reach the ball.

"Take this," she said, hitting it with her paddle back to her opponents.

The ball, still fast and hard, went to Todoroki and Monoma.

"I've got this," Monoma stated smugly.

With his large hands, he managed the ball back to his opponents, but harder and faster.

Because of the increased speed and power, neither Kendo or Usagi made it in time. The two girls missed the ball as it hit the floor.

"HAHAHAHAHA! I just got the best of you rabbit!" Monoma laughed arrogantly as his hands returned to normal

"You only did that with my Quirk," Kendo pointed out, making her hands normal again.

"I guess this shows that the so-called powerful Class 1-A and Class 1-L aren't all high and mighty as some think they are! So pathetic!" Monoma taunted.

His taunting angered Usagi as two anger marks appeared on her temple. Felicia also overheard Monoma's taunting as two anger marks appeared on her temple too.

"You just got lucky!" Usagi remarked madly.

"You're just jealous, you ridiculous rabbit girl," Monoma arrogantly countered. "HAHAHAHA!"

Hearing that insult and annoying laughter enraged Usagi as three anger marks appeared on her temple. The same thing happened to Felicia as she was enraged as well.

'I can't stand that Monoma's taunting any longer,' Class 1-L's British girl thought.

Usagi then walked over to Monoma, and Felicia walked over to their table.

"What is with you and your taunting of our classes?! Are you really that pathetic that you need to insult our classes?!" Usagi shouted.

"What did you say!" Monoma yelled angrily.

As the two of them argued, Kendo was about to stop them when Felicia arrived.

"Kendo!" Felicia shouted, surprising the Class 1-B girl.

"Felicia?" Kendo was confused.

"Monoma's taunting is ridiculous and out of hand! Why can't you do more to stop him?! Are you incompetent in doing that?!" Felicia complained.

Hearing that insult made Kendo angry.

"What was that?!" the Class 1-B girl yelled.

Then the two girls argued too.

Todoroki stood by as he saw both groups arguing.

"This isn't good," he casually commented.

As the arguers kept going, the other first-years not arguing tried to stop them.

"You two need to stop, ribbit," Asui tried to calm down Kai and Mineta.

"Chill out you two," Kaminari tried to stop Iida and Eli from arguing.

"You two should stop," Midoriya tried to simmer down Bakugo and Yuki.

"Um, can you two stop arguing?" Arisa tried to quell Kirishima and Jiro.

"Yaoyorozu, please calm down," Ochaco tried to cease Momo's arguing with the sleeping Junko.

"Can you all stop arguing?" Todoroki tried to settle down Monoma, Usagi, Felicia, and Kendo.

The arguers stopped for a moment to look at the intervenors.

"STAY OUT OF THIS!" the arguing teammates, minus Junko, shouted as they went back to arguing with each other.

The enraged shouting made the intervenors cringe, except Todoroki.

Suddenly, Lola blew her whistle very loudly. That made the arguers stop and got everyone's attention as they looked at her.

"Everyone, listen up," Lola announced as the first-years focused on her. "The rest of the coaches and myself have noticed that the few disagreements between some of you has become more frequent. And now they've become big arguments."

"Therefore, we've decided that instead of the usual training activities, we're going to do some trust exercises that we coaches have come up with," she decided.

The arguers either groaned or didn't look interested in the trust exercises. While the non-arguers (Arisa, Midoriya, Ochaco, Asui, Kaminari, and Todoroki) just listened to the third-year coach girl.

"Hopefully these exercises will help you all to get past your differences and stop the arguing," Chojiro stated.

"Grrr.." Leo nodded in agreement.

"Pft. Let's just get this over with so I don't have to listen to any more of their arguing," Fernando rudely said.

"Let the JAMS begin!" Lola declared as Chojiro and Leo held up a banner that had 'the word JAMS' on it.

"What?" the first-years were confused, except Junko who just snored.

"JAMS stands for J-HOL Anger Management Session," Lola explained.

"Oh," the first-years understood.

"Our other options were HAMS, Hero Anger Managment Session, and YAMS, Young Anger Management Session," Chojiro mentioned.

"We decided that it would be better everyone to be in JAMS than HAMS or YAMS," Lola added.

"JAMS does make more sense given the situation," Chojiro said.

"Grr..." Leo growled in agreement.

"Can we get this over with?!" Fernando shouted.

"Right. Let's us start the JAMS!" Lola announced.

The arguing first-years didn't look thrilled about it. While the remainder of the first-years looked worried, except Todoroki.

"The first trust exercise is called 'light as a feather'. Now, everyone separate into two groups. One with the boys and the other with the girls," Lola instructed.

The first-years obeyed as they got into their separate groups. Though some of them weren't glad to be in the same group.

"Now each person in the group is to use two fingers on each hand to lift the lightest person in their group," Chojiro instructed with his pointer and middle fingers of both hands raised up together.

The guys looked at Mineta.

"Oh yeah. Like I didn't see that coming," Mineta sarcastically said.

"Just watch my hair," Class 1-A's short guy warned them as he brushed his mohawk of four large ball-shaped clumps with his hand. "I want to look good for the girls."

Kai just sighed and rolled his eyes.

The girls looked at Asui and Junko.

"Which of you two do we lift?" Kendo questioned.

Junko sleep-walked to the front of the group.

"I guess Junko is volunteering herself," Arisa assumed.

"Are you okay with that, Tsu?" Ochaco asked her friend.

"It's fine with me, ribbit," Asui answered.

"The let's do it!" Usagi shouted.

"Yeah, but how do we lift Neru without touching her and falling asleep?" Jiro pointed out.

"I have an idea," Momo said.

With a rainbow glow, Momo used her Creation Quirk to make gloves for the girls.

"We can wear these gloves so we can touch and lift Neru safely," Class 1-A's creation girl explained.

"Brilliant idea, Momo," Felicia commented, as the girls put on the gloves.

"Is everyone ready?" Lola wondered.

The guys held two fingers (pointer and middle) up, and the girls did the same with their gloved fingers.

"Now everyone, lift the person up!" Lola announced.

Right away, the guys put their two fingers on the back of Mineta body and lifted him up to their elbow level. Though some of the guys weren't glad to be next to each other, like Eli, Iida, Bakugo, and Yuki. Also, Kai wasn't thrilled about touching Mineta.

"This is pretty easy," Midoriya commented.

"It helps that Mineta is small," Kirishima added.

"I gotta say that being lifted in the air is nice," Mineta commented with a grin. "But I'd like it more if the girls were lifting me."

"I know what you mean," Kaminari understood his friend.

Once again, Kai sighed and rolled his eyes.

At the same time, the girls put their two gloved fingers on the back of Junko's body and lifted her in the air. Even with gloved hands, Momo wasn't glad about touching Junko.

While lifting Class 1-L's sleeping beauty up to elbow level, Felicia and Kendo weren't thrilled about being next to each other.

"It's kind of nice lifting Junko," Arisa commented.

"Yeah. This feels like one of those things you do at a séance," Usagi stated. "At least that's what Miru told me."

"I wonder if Neru is enjoying this," Ochaco wondered.

"Zzzz..." Junko snored.

"I think she is, ribbit," Asui guessed.

"I only hope she doesn't drool on us," Momo said, glaring at the sleeping girl.

"Yeah, you wouldn't like that," Jiro mentioned.

"You're all doing a good job," Lola praised the first-years as she observed them. "Now let's move on to the next trust-exercises."

The second trust-exercise that the first-years did was the classic trust fall.

They were separated in the following groups:

1. Kai and Mineta

2. Asui and Arisa

3. Bakugo and Yuki

4. Eli and Iida

5. Junko and Momo

6. Felicia and Kendo

7. Usagi and Monoma

8. Jiro and Kirishima

9. Ochaco and Todoroki

10. Kaminari and Midoriya

"For this exercise, you've got to trust that the person behind you will catch as you fall backwards," Chojiro explained.

As Kai fell back, Mineta caught him. Though the short guy had trouble keeping Kai from hitting the floor.

While falling, Asui caught Arisa, Ochaco caught Kaminari, and Todoroki caught Midoriya.

With gloved hands, Momo caught Junko, but Class 1-A's vice representative was irked by her drool.

The rest of the first-year students also succeeded in the trust fall. Though they weren't ecstatic about being in a group together.

In the same groups, the first-year students did a three-legged race.

With one leg of each person tied up together, the groups of Asui and Arisa, Ochaco and Kaminari, and Todoroki and Midoriya made it to the finish line nicely.

Though the groups of Bakugo and Yuki, Eli and Iida, Felicia and Kendo, Usagi and Monoma, and Jiro and Kirishima made it too, the students in each pair weren't glad about being together.

Then the groups of Kai and Mineta, and Momo and Junko made it last together. Kai had trouble with the short Mineta, and Momo had trouble with the sleeping Junko.

Once again in the same groups, the first-year students then did a tri-armed trust-exercise.

With one arm of each person tied together, and with paper and pencil in hand, they had to draw a tree.

When time was up, the tree drawings came out okay for the three groups with non-arguers. For most of the groups, the tree drawings were terrible because the students were arguing or glaring at each other. As for Felicia and Kendo, their tree drawing came out great, but they still glared at each other.

For the fifth exercise, the first-year students had to the human knot group.

They were put in the following groups:

1. Arisa, Ochaco, Momo, Asui, Junko

2. Todoroki, Kendo, Jiro, Felicia, Kirishima

3. Bakugo, Yuki, Kaminari, Monoma, Usagi

4. Midoriya, Mineta, Iida, Eli, Kai

The groups were instructed to form a circle, reach their arms out to a person in front of them, and joins hands together to form the human knot.

"While not letting go of your hands, you must move around and untie yourselves out of the knot to get back into a circle," Lola instructed.

The first group, even with Momo angry at Junko, managed to get out of the knot.

"Wow. That was one tough knot to untie," Ochaco commented, rubbing her arms.

"Yeah, but I'm glad we got out of it, ribbit," Asui said, rubbing her hands.

"Thanks goodness we still have the gloves you made for us, Yaoyorozu. We could touch Junko with no problem," Arisa told Momo.

"You're welcome, Kawasaki," Momo replied nicely.

Then the Class 1-A girl glared at Junko.

"Though we could have undone the knot a bit faster and less painful if someone wasn't asleep," Momo complained.

The sleeping Junko just kept sleeping.

Meanwhile, the remaining groups couldn't untie themselves out of their knots and only made the knots tighter.

With the pairs Felicia and Kendo, and Jiro and Kirishima annoyed with each other, the group couldn't get back into a circle.

"This isn't working," Todoroki calmly stated the obvious.

With the pairs of Bakugo and Yuki, and Usagi and Monoma irritated with each other, the group couldn't cooperate well together.

"Guys stop! This is hurting me more than you guys!" Kaminari complained.

"Get your tail away from me, you dragon bastard!" Bakugo yelled at Yuki.

With the pairs of Eli and Iida, and Mineta and Kai irked with each other, they couldn't work together. Plus, the group having to avoid touching Mineta's sticky hair didn't help.

"Get your hair balls out of my face!" Kai shouted at Mineta.

"Ow! A little help, please!" Midoriya pleaded in pain.

In the same groups, the first-year students had another trust-exercise to do.

The members of each group were tied together with rope, and four members of each group were given blindfolds.

"Each group's objective is to catch this drone while you're tied together," Chojiro explained, holding a red drone in hand. "And Leo here will pilot it."

The first-years students saw Leo with a remote control in hand.

"If you have a blindfold, then put it on," Chojiro instructed.

The four members of each group tied their blindfolds on to cover their eyes. That left the only ones to see being Arisa, Todoroki, Kaminari and Midoriya.

"If you can see, you must lead. If you can't see, listen to your leader," Chojiro further instructed.

Leo started up the remote control and flew the drone into the air.

Those who could see the drone tried to command the blindfolded to follow them. However, most of the blindfolded listened for the drone and tried to tell the leader where it was or get it on their own.

That lead to each person bumping into someone else, and then all the groups falling on the floor.

Soon, Lola, Chojiro, and Leo sighed at none of their trust-exercises working to stop the arguers from arguing. Also, Fernando sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Well that went well," Fernando sarcastically said. "I guess we'll be doing my trust-exercise next."

"I suppose we have to," Lola decided.

"We'll have to talk with the teachers first," Chojiro mentioned.

"Grrr..." Leo nodded.

While all four coaches went to see the teachers, the arguers sat down on the floor. Some of them either glared at each other or looked away from each other.

Meanwhile, Arisa, Midoriya, Ochaco, Asui, Kaminari, and Todoroki sat away from them to talk with each other.

"It's so crazy that everyone else is angry with each other," Kaminari observed.

"I'm used to see Kacchan like that, but not everyone else," Midoriya mentioned.

"You're right, Deku," Ochaco agreed. "It's really out of character for Iida, Mineta, Yaoyorozu, Jiro, and Kirishima."

"I've never seen Usagi, Kai, Eli, Yuki Drago, Felicia, Kendo, and Monoma be like this," Asui said.

"I agree with you about my classmates, Asui. Though I have seen Felicia sort of like this before when we first arrived at U.A. High and she argued with Yuki Drago in class," Arisa remembered.

"So far, the trust-exercises that the coaches have done haven't helped the team at all," Todoroki stated.

"And they're too angry to listen to us," Midoriya added. "If this doesn't end soon, we won't be doing well at the JHOL at all."

"And the end of some good friendships too," Ochaco noted.

"That'd be bad, ribbit," Asui commented.

"Yeah," Kaminari agreed.

"I hope whatever the coaches have planned can stop the arguing," Arisa wished.

The others nodded in agreement.

Eventually, the coaches returned and stood in front of the first-year students.

"Everyone!" Chojiro shouted, getting the first-year students' attention as they listened. "We have one last trust-exercise to do."

The arguers either sighed, groaned or rolled their eyes.

"However, this one will take place at night, and we have the teachers' permission to do this," Chojiro added.

"Because of that, you should all call your families to let them know that you will be coming home later than usual before we go back to the usual training," Lola instructed. "We will provide you some snacks and drinks before the final trust-exercise. Also, the teachers allowed you all to come in a little later tomorrow because of this nightly exercise."

"And you should all be prepared for tonight. You better steel your resolves or else you might wet yourselves with fear," Fernando warned them with a scary grin.

That ominous warning made most of the first-year students either worried, scared, or confused.

After that, the support members were retrieved by Midnight and Ms. Heal to learn from them. While the main team members continued the usual, rigorous training.

Soon, it was nighttime. The sky was darkened black, the full moon was glowing bright, and the stars were twinkling in the sky.

The first-year students gathered in Gym Gamma at 7 P.M., where the four coaches waited for them.

There was also a table of snacks and drinks for them. The students ate and drank while the coaches spoke to them.

"Alright, everyone," Lola started. "This last trust-exercise should help those of you arguing to work through your problems and resolve your issues with each other."

"You're going to have to if you want to complete this exercise," Chojiro noted.

"Grr..." Leo nodded in agreement.

"Your exercise is to investigate the seven mysteries of UA High," Fernando revealed.

The sudden revelation surprised most of the students.

Then Lola, Chojiro, and Leo had the first-year students split into the following groups:

1. Kai, Ochaco, and Mineta

2. Eli, Iida, and Kaminari

3. Jiro, Kirishima, Midoriya, and Arisa

4. Asui, Momo, and Junko

5. Usagi, Monoma, Kendo, and Felicia

6. Todoroki, Bakugo, and Yuki

"Now I'll explain UA High's seven mysteries to you guys," Fernando began to list them.

"The first mystery is that in the principal's office, one of the head busts of the UA founders will have its head turned backwards."

"The second mystery is that the skeleton model from the science lab will run across the hallway at night."

"The third mystery is you hear a strange noise from the Development Studio, even though nobody should be using it late at night."

"The fourth mystery is you smell a weird smell coming from the girls' locker room."

"The fifth mystery is you hear someone laughing in the cafeteria when there's no one else there."

"The sixth mystery is that the stairway on the third floor has an extra step when you walk down it, not up it."

"The seventh and final mystery is an unknown one. According to a few witnesses, apparently there's an old, abandoned classroom that was closed down for some "odd reason". The school warns students not to enter this abandoned classroom, but whoever did never came back. Others say that the seventh mystery is you might meet someone you know in the classroom, but it isn't the exact same person you know."

Once the explanation was done, each group was given flashlights and one of the first six mysteries to investigate. They would then all gather together to investigate the final mystery.

"I wish you all luck in solving the mysteries," Lola told the first-year students.

"And busting the myths," Chojiro added.

"Grrrrrr..," Leo said.

"Remember to work together and be on the lookout for strange things. That's what Leo just said," Chojiro translated.

"Just finish the mysteries quick so I can get some sleep at home," Fernando sounded annoyed.

With flashlights in hand, the six groups then went to the main school building and went their separate ways to investigate their respective assigned mystery. Thanks to the full moon, the moonlight illuminated some parts of the school through the windows.

Kai, Mineta, and Ochaco were making their way to the principal's office.

"I gotta say the school looks creepy at night," Ochaco said, looking a little scared.

"Yeah, it does," Mineta spoke nervously.

"But at least there's a cute girl to keep me company," Mineta looked at Ochaco, who just sweat-dropped.

"Of course, you'd say that," Kai said, looking annoyed and rolling his eyes.

"What?!" Mineta angrily responded as he and Kai glared at each other.

"Oh boy," Ochaco said, sweat-dropping to their arguing.

Eli, Iida, and Kaminari were headed to the science lab.

"Okay, let's go to the science lab. The school creeps me out at night," Kaminari noted with a scared tone.

"We can run there if you want to get this done fast," Eli suggested.

"No, we can't!" Iida refused. "There's no running in the school, especially at night."

"It's after school hours!" Eli rebuked.

"We're still in a school!" Iida argued back.

As they argued, Kaminari just stood and watched.

"This is gonna be a long night," Kaminari commented.

Jiro, Kirishima, Midoriya, and Arisa were progressing to the Development Studio.

"The school looks really different at night," Midoriya noted.

"And feels creepy," Arisa added.

"Yeah," Jiro agreed, looking nervous.

"Come on guys. This isn't the time to be scared. Let's do this!" Kirishima shouted.

The sudden shouting angered Jiro.

"Kirishima! Quiet down would you!" she yelled at him.

"I'll shout if I want to!" Kirishima argued back.

As the two of them argued, Arisa and Midoriya only watched.

"Jiro, Kirishima, please stop," Midoriya begged, but his arguing classmates didn't hear him.

"I hope this mystery can stop their arguing," Arisa said.

Asui, Momo, and Junko, who was leaning on Asui's shoulder, were off to the girls' locker room.

"I hope the smell from the locker room isn't too bad, ribbit," Asui stated.

"As do I," Momo agreed.

Then the tall Class 1-A girl glared at Junko.

"Though it would be more helpful to locate the smell if someone was awake," Momo angrily said.

"Zzzzz..." Junko snored.

"Ribbit," Asui sighed with a sweat-drop.

Usagi, Monoma, Kendo, and Felicia were advancing to the cafeteria.

"I think us Class 1-B students will find the source of the possible laughing first," Monoma boasted with a smug grin.

"Not if Felicia and I find it first," Usagi rebuked angrily and glared at him.

"Hopefully your classmate's excessive boasting doesn't prevent us from hearing the laughing," Felicia told Kendo as the British girl glared at her.

"If you think you can stop him better than I can, then be my guest and do it," the Class 1-B girl replied, glaring back at Felicia.

Todoroki, Bakugo, and Yuki were walking to the third floor.

"Let's get this stupid mystery over with!" Bakugo complained. "Hey icy hot bastard and dragon bastard, don't lag behind!"

"If you're too annoyed or frightened to do it, then I can check the stairs if you want," Yuki offered.

Suddenly, anger marks appeared on Bakugo's temple.

"Who you callin' scared?! I'm not scared, you dragon bastard!" Bakugo angrily replied and glared at him. "Let's go to the third floor!"

"Fine then," Yuki responded with a glare.

Todoroki just observed them fighting as he said, "This arguing will get us nowhere."

Soon, all the groups reached their respective destinations.

The trio of Kai, Mineta, and Ochaco went inside the principal's office.

"It feels weird being in the principal's office without being in trouble," Mineta noted, sounding nervous.

"And creepy at night," Ochaco added, slightly scared.

"Let's just find those head busts of the UA founders," Kai said calmly, looking around right away.

"Wow. Kai doesn't look he's afraid of anything," Ochaco commented.

"Must be nice to have a girl see you being brave," Mineta mumbled.

After some searching, the three of them found the head busts of the UA founders on a counter. There were four in total, two men and two women, and they all faced out in the same direction.

"It looks like we don't have a mystery on our hands," Kai stated.

"That's a relief," Ochaco grinned.

"Guess this myth was just a big bust," Mineta complained. "And the busts of the girls could look prettier, especially with bodies."

Kai rolled his eyes as he said, "Let's just go now."

As the three prepared to leave, Ochaco heard a noise and looked back as the guys went ahead.

"AAAAHHHH!" she screamed in fear.

Her shriek stopped Kai and Mineta from leaving, as they neared the door, and they ran back to her.

The guys found her looking terrified and shaking in fear while standing, and her flashlight was on the floor.

"Uraraka!" Mineta shouted.

"What's wrong?" Kai questioned.

"One of the head busts is backwards!" Ochaco explained terrified.

"What?!" Mineta screamed worriedly.

Then Kai shined his flashlight on the head busts, and the trio saw that all the head busts were still facing forward.

"They look normal to me," Kai observed.

With his flashlight, he saw that the counter was in front of a mirror and saw the reflection of the back of the head busts in the mirror.

"Uraraka, you only saw the back of the head busts in the mirror," Kai showed both her and Mineta.

"Oh," she realized.

"Thank goodness," Mineta was relieved.

"Sorry about that guys," Ochaco apologized.

"It's fine," Kai said.

"If you're still spooked, I can comfort you if you want," Mineta offered, with a smug grin on his face and his arms reached out to her.

"Uh, no. I'll be fine," Ochaco refused politely.

"Of course, you would say something like that to a girl," Kai complained.

"Alright Kai, that's it!" Mineta shouted, having had enough. "What is your problem with me liking girls?!"

"My problem is that you go on and on about the girls, practically all the time," Kai answered. "In the locker room, both before and after training, and even during training. It's so annoying to hear it every day. Your friend Kaminari talks about girls too, but not as much as you do. The only salvation I get from your babbling is when you and the support team students leave for your other training. Even so, it's not enough sometimes."

"I can't help it if I like how the girls look. And that they're so pretty that I just have to talk about it with my bud Kaminari. I feel like if I don't talk to someone about it that I might pass out or something," Mineta replied.

"Okay. I didn't know the girls made you feel like that," Kai said.

"And I didn't know my talking about the girls was bothering you," Mineta stated.

"Hey guys," Ochaco chimed in, making the guys look at her. "Now that you've both talked about your issues, how do you two feel?"

"I actually feel a bit better now," Kai realized.

"Me too," Mineta agreed and grinned.

"That's good. Now let's go meet up with the others at the old, abandoned classroom," Ochaco suggested, and the guys nodded in agreement.

In the hallway, the trio of Iida, Eli, and Kaminari neared the science room.

"I think we're almost there, dudes," Eli searched for the room with his flashlight.

"Let's finish this task and meet up with the others. As Class 1-A's class representative, I would like to dispense this rumor of a mystery to my class and the school," Iida stated.

"The sooner the better. I'm just hoping we don't see a running skeleton," Kaminari sounded scared.

"Then let's pick up the pace," Eli suggested as he started to walk quickly.

"Wait for us! Don't run in the hall! That's against the rules!" Iida strictly shouted at Eli as he walked to him.

"I'm not running. I'm walking quickly. There's a difference," Class 1-L's bug boy rebuked as he stopped walking and looked at Iida. "And it's after school hours. I don't think the rules apply when no one else is here."

"We're still in school regardless. We have to follow the rules, or someone is going to get hurt," Class 1-A's engine boy argued, looking at Eli.

As they bickered, Kaminari then noticed a shadow down the halls, and it spooked him.

"G-Guys!" he tried to get his teammates' attention.

"What?!" the two guys asked, looking at Kaminari.

"I think I saw something down the halls," Class 1-A's electric boy replied.

The two arguers turned around and saw a shadow in the halls. Then the trio saw the shadow going down the hall.

"Hey you! Get back here!" Eli shouted, running down the halls.

"Remember no running in the halls!" Iida reminded him, running after Eli and the shadow.

"Guys wait up!" Kaminari ran after them.

In the hallway of sliding doors, the three boys ran through the doors on each side to chase the shadow.

It started with Eli in front, Iida in the middle, and Kaminari at the end. As they kept running through the doors to search, they got split up as they went through the doors.

One instance saw Iida and Eli running together, then Kaminari and Iida, and last Eli and Kaminari. Then another instance saw each boy running separately through the hallway of doors.

While they kept running, they didn't notice some unusual characters ran through the doors too.

One was a skeleton wearing a black suit and black top hat, and with a black afro and cane, similar to Brook from One Piece. The next was another skeleton wearing a black bowtie and black top hat with a white stripe, similar to Mr. Pettibones from Halloween Spooktacular. The last one was a skeleton wearing a black and white stripe tuxedo and a black bowtie that looks like a bat, similar to Jack Skellington from 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'.

Soon, the three boys got tired and stopped running through the doors to catch their breath.

"I never knew this school had a lot of doors," Kaminari commented.

"We just ran in the school. I feel ashamed for us breaking the rules," Iida lamented sadly.

"And we didn't find the running skeleton," Eli added sadly.

That angered Iida as he shouted, "Is that all that concerns you?! What about what we did?!"

Eli then got mad as he responded, "You're still on about that?! What about what we have to do?!"

"Guys!" Kaminari yelled, focusing their attention on him. "What are you two angry with each other about?"

"I can't stand that Eli here doesn't follow the rules and does only what he wants," Iida answered.

"I don't like how Iida always mentions the rules, and is so strict with them," Eli stated.

"You can be so annoying. How did you become class representative?" both guys asked the other at the same time.

"I became class representative because of my friend Midoriya's decision. I want to do well for his sake and my class," the Class 1-A class rep explained.

"I got to be class rep because of my bud Kai's vote. I want to do well to help my class and not let him down," the Class 1-L class rep explained.

Both boys cooled down their anger as they looked at each other calmly.

"I apologize for letting my anger get the best of me. I know that focusing on anger can cause problems for yourself and others," Iida said, remembering what happened to himself with the Hero Killer Stain in Hosu City.

"Yeah, I get it," Eli understood, remembering the same thing.

"Just remember that the rules are there to keep everyone safe. Disobeying them during training will cause harm for everyone, both in training and at the JHOL," Class 1-A's engine guy stated.

"I know, but I'm not trying to disobey the rules during training. I'm trying to do something different, that's not against the rules and won't hurt anyone, so we can win the JHOL," Class 1-L's bug guy countered.

"It looks like to me that you both want the team to do well in the JHOL, but in different ways," Kaminari pointed out.

"Oh, I see," Iida understood. "Well, perhaps I can be not so strict with the rules."

"And I can remember more of the rules," Eli added.

"So guys," Kaminari joined in. "I'm glad you two finally settled you differences. Now that's over with, how about we go to the science room?"

Both class reps nodded in agreement as they all went there.

Once the three boys got to the science room, they looked inside and saw the skeleton model was still there.

"So the skeleton model was here the whole time," Kaminari observed.

"Meaning this mystery was nothing but nonsense," Iida said.

"But then what was the shadow were chasing?" Eli wondered.

Suddenly, they saw the same shadow appear in the science room and heard a 'caw' sound. The three looked to the window to see it was a bird outside on a tree branch.

"What? The shadow was a bird this whole time," Kaminari stated.

"It was just a wild bird chase," Eli commented.

"Well, at least this mystery was solved, more or less," Iida said, closing the sliding door.

"I guess it's off next to the old, abandoned classroom," Kaminari pointed out.

"And we'll walk there so we can obey the school rules," Eli mentioned.

"I like that idea," Iida replied.

"But we can walk quickly there. That way we can get this trust-exercise done with quickly, go home quickly, and rest up for tomorrow's training," Eli suggested. "What do you say, Iida?"

"Fine. I suppose we can do that," Iida decided.

"Alright. Let's go," Eli led the way as Iida and Kaminari followed.

At the Development Studio, the quad of Arisa, Midoriya, Jiro, and Kirishima stood at its large entrance doors.

"So this is the Development Studio," Midoriya observed.

"It has a nice sign," Arisa noticed the sign hanging from the door.

The two of them then sweat-dropped when they saw Jiro and Kirishima still glaring at each other.

"We should go inside," Midoriya suggested.

"Yeah," Arisa agreed.

Once inside, they saw the Development Studio is a large room filled with various tools, materials, and machinery used for costume development. It also had tables, chairs, and computers.

"Wow. This place has so much technology," Midoriya commented while looking around.

"And tools," Jiro noted, seeing them on the wall and in toolboxes.

"And blueprints," Kirishima added, seeing them on the wall and tables.

"Oh my," Arisa said.

When Jiro and Kirishima saw each other, they glared angrily at one another.

"I'll check for the noise this way," Jiro pointed in one direction.

"And I'll check this way," Kirishima pointed in the opposite direction.

"Just keep your voice down so we can listen for the strange noise," Class 1-A's earphone jack girl told him.

"Yeah. Fine. Whatever," Class 1-A's hardening guy responded.

As they both went their separate ways, that left Arisa and Midoriya together.

"Would it be alright if we searched together?" she asked.

"Okay. That's fine with me," he replied.

While they all searched and listened for any strange noises, Midoriya and Arisa came across a large pile of support gear in a corner.

"Wow. This is a lot of gear in one pile," Arisa observed while shining her flashlight on it.

"Yeah," Midoriya agreed and looked closer at the pile with his flashlight. "And some of the support gear looks kind of familiar."

"They belong to Mei Hatsume," Arisa said.

"How do you know?" Midoriya wondered, looking at Arisa.

"That sign there," she pointed and shined her flashlight on a sign.

Midoriya looked to where Arisa's flashlight was shining on. He saw the sign that read "Mei Hatsume's babies" on it.

"That does make sense," he understood. "I remember her support gear from the Sports Festival."

In the pile, the two saw some gear that Hatsume used and advertised during the Sports Festival. For instance, the Wire Arrow, Hover Shoes, Hydraulic Bracers, and Capture Gun. There was even the Jet Pack, Auto Balancer, and Electromagnetic Soles.

Also, the pile had the Plant-O-Grower (a silver planter with buttons) and the Ultra-Compressed Weights.

"Hatsume really likes creating support gear," Arisa noted.

"She sure does," Midoriya agreed.

"Hey, guys," Kirishima said as he joined them. "Did you find any noises?"

"No, we haven't," his classmate Midoriya answered.

"What about you, Kirishima?" Arisa questioned.

"Nope," Class 1-A's hardening guy shook his head.

"Wow, that's a lot of support gear," he approached the pile and grabbed an ultra-compressed weight.

"I think we should keep searching," Midoriya suggested.

"Okay," Arisa and Kirishima agreed.

Then Kirishima threw the weight onto the pile as the three of them began walking away.

Without them knowing, the Ultra-Compressed Weight hit the Plant-O-Grower causing it to fall down the pile.

"Do you hear something behind us?" Midoriya asked.

"Yes, I do," Arisa replied.

"Me too," Kirishima agreed.

When the three students heard the clanging sound of metal hitting metal, they shined their flashlights on the pile of support gear.

Even with the light, they couldn't see what was causing the noise.

As the Plant-O-Grower kept falling down, it hit the Jetpack as it fell down the pile instead of the planter.

Before the students knew it, the Jetpack fell down right on Kirishima's foot.

"Aaaaggghhhh!" he yelled in pain.

The sound of his scream made Jiro cover her ears angrily.

"Kirishima!" Midoriya was concerned.

"Are you alright?" Arisa wondered.

"Yeah, I think I'll be okay," he assured them.

"Kirishima!" Jiro yelled.

The trio heard and looked to see Jiro coming towards them.

When she got to Kirishima and shined the flashlight under her chin, the trio saw Jiro's angry face glaring at him.

"I can't take it! I've had enough of your shouting and screaming!" Jiro shouted and pointed at him with her earphone jacks.

"I was in pain! What do you expect me to do?!" Kirishima replied angrily.

To prevent a possible fight, Midoriya went to Kirishima, and Arisa went to Jiro.

"Both of you need to stop this," Midoriya insisted.

"Yes, you do," Arisa agreed with him.

"He started it!" Jiro accused Kirishima, pointing with her earphone jacks.

"She's making a big deal out of nothing!" Kirishima argued back.

"Jiro, why does Kirishima's shouting and screaming bother you?" Arisa asked her.

The question made Jiro calm down as she looked at the trio.

"It's because I have sensitive hearing thanks to my Quirk. If I hear too much loud noise at once or overuse my Quirk, then my ears bleed. If that happens, my hearing might get damaged and I might not be able to use my Quirk. I don't want that to happen because I want to help Team Japan in the JHOL and become a great hero," Class 1-A's earphone jack girl explained.

"That does make sense given how your Quirk is hearing-based," Arisa understood.

"I remember that Present Mic's Voice Quirk gave you a lot of problems during the Final Exams, Jiro," Midoriya recalled. "But I didn't know that much about your Quirk's weakness."

"Me neither," Kirishima said.

"It's not something I like to talk about," Jiro admitted and slightly frowned.

"Kirishima, why do you shout so much?" Midoriya questioned his classmate.

"It's because I'm so pumped for the JHOL like some of the others are. I want our team to do well in the JHOL because we're representing all of Japan. I want all of us to get psyched up and ready for the JHOL that we give it our all and not hesitate for a moment. I know that hesitation can mean either victory or defeat, life or death. If we hesitate at all, then there's a chance we might lose and I don't want that for our team," Class 1-A's hardening guy explained. "I'm sure you guys don't want that either."

"You're right that we should be ready, physically and mentally, for the JHOL," Midoriya understood.

"And that none of us want to lose," Arisa added.

"I didn't know you felt that strongly about wanting to help our team win the JHOL," Jiro said.

"That's just how I feel. I'm sorry that my shouting was causing you problems, Jiro," Kirishima apologized to her.

"I'm sorry that I just argued with you and yelled at you, instead of explaining it," Jiro apologized.

Hearing those apologies made Arisa and Midoriya grin.

"I'm glad you two settled your issues," Arisa noted.

"How about we get back to finding the strange noise?" Midoriya suggested.

The others nodded in agreement.

After some more searching, the quad found no strange noise in the Development Studio. Then they exited the studio and gathered outside its door.

"Well, that myth was a real bust," Jiro commented.

"I guess someone might have exaggerated about the noise or something," Arisa thought aloud.

"Anyway, let's head to the old, abandoned classroom," Midoriya suggested.

"Hey, Jiro," Kirishima spoke. "I'll try to not shout so much so it doesn't bother your ears."

"Thanks, Kirishima. But don't let that stop you from psyching us up. We all want to be ready for the JHOL when it comes," Jiro stated.

"You got it," Kirishima responded with a grin.

In the girls' locker room, the trio of Momo, Asui, and Junko were searching through the lockers for the strange smell.

"Did you find anything, Yaoyorozu?" Asui inquired, while closing a locker.

"No," Momo responded, while opening a locker "What about Neru?"

Both Class 1-A girls shined their flashlights on Junko, who was searching the lockers while sleeping.

"It seems not," Class 1-A's creation girl said.

"I guess she's using her nose to find the smell instead of her eyes because she's sleeping, ribbit," Class 1-A's frog girl stated.

"Indeed. I suppose that's smart of her to do," Momo agreed with a mad look at Junko.

"Let's keep searching for the smell," Asui suggested.

As the two girls returned to their task, Momo heard herself stepping into something liquid.

"What's this?" she wondered aloud.

Momo shined the flashlight on her sneaker to see some liquid on the floor.

"Are you okay, Yaoyorozu?" Asui asked, approaching her classmate.

"Zzzzz..." Junko snored, walking to them.

When Momo got a closer look at the liquid, she immediately recognized it. Momo was angered as she shined her flashlight on Junko. She saw the sleeping Class 1-L girl drooling from her mouth, and then she got in the sleeper's face.

"I can't believe this!" Momo yelled at Junko. "You're still drooling from your mouth! And while we're searching no less!"

Junko just kept sleeping.

"I know you can hear me! Wake up and say something!" Momo continued yelling.

Worried that something might happen between them, Asui approached Momo.

"Yaoyorozu, calm down," Class 1-A's frog girl tried to stop her classmate. "Why does Neru's drooling bother you?"

The sudden question made Momo look at Asui.

"Her drooling bothers me because it's hazardous for everyone on the team. If anyone touches it, there's a chance the germs in it can make them sick. Also, if someone slips on it, they could get hurt. Either way, that would render them unable to go to the Athens and unable to participate in the JHOL. Neru's drooling is a liability to the team, Also, I find the drool to be disgusting," Class 1-A's creation girl explained.

"I understand what you're saying, Yaoyorozu, but I can understand Neru too, ribbit," Class 1-A's frog girl said, confusing her classmate.

"What do you mean, Asui? Doesn't the drooling bother you?" Momo questioned her.

"No, it doesn't," Asui replied.

"Why?" Momo wondered.

"It's because I understand Neru's drooling being a liability and disgusting. Because of my Frog Quirk, I can secrete mucus from body. Some people think it's gross and slimy. Also, the mucus can have different, controlled effects, like paralysis, itch inducing, and scent masking. While the effects can be good for me, they can be dangerous for others if they're not careful," Asui admitted.

"Oh, Asui. That is an unfortunate downside about your Quirk. I'm sorry if my complaining about Neru bothered you as well," Momo apologized.

"It's fine. I wasn't bothered, ribbit," Asui replied.

"I'm glad you understand me, Asui," Junko spoke.

Both Class 1-A girls looked to see the Class 1-L girl awake.

"Neru, you're awake?" Momo and Asui inquired together.

"For a moment," Junko answered. "I'm sorry, Yaoyorozu, that my drooling was bothering you for those reasons you mentioned. The drooling only happens sometimes while I sleep, not always. Sometimes I can control it, but sometimes I can't. Not many people can understand me."

"I'm sorry, Neru. I shouldn't have let my reasons and preferences get the best of me. I should have tried to understand you, just as Asui does," Momo apologized.

"I accept your apology," Junko nodded.

Then Junko's eyelids got heavy as she went back sleep.

"Zzzz..." she snored.

"How about we keep searching for the smell?" Asui suggested.

"Indeed," Momo agreed.

The sleeping Junko nodded in agreement.

After more searching through the lockers, the trio found no strange smell. While exiting the locker room, Junko was resting her head on Momo's shoulder.

"Looks like there was no strange smell in the locker room after all, ribbit," Asui said.

"Though it's peculiar that none of us girls never noticed a strange smell in the locker room before," Momo remarked.

"Maybe the smell could have been some dirty clothes or shoes that someone left behind one night and then she got took them home the next day," Class 1-A's frog girl suggested. "Anyway, I'm glad you and Neru made up, Yaoyorozu."

"I am too," Class 1-A's creation girl replied with a grin.

Even the sleeping Junko grinned in agreement.

"Now we should head to the old, abandoned classroom now and meet up with the others," Momo suggested.

"Ribbit," Asui agreed.

"Zzzz..." Junko snored in agreement as the girls walked down the hallway.

At the Lunch Rush Cafeteria, the quad of Felicia, Usagi, Monoma, and Kendo were searching the large dining hall.

"Any of you guys heard any laughter yet, or found the source of it?" Kendo questioned the others as she checked under a table with her flashlight.

"No," they replied, checking corners with their flashlights, as the group kept searching.

"Hey, if we do find the laughing source, does that mean this place should be called the Lunch Rush Laugh-eteria?" Usagi joked with a grin.

The others didn't respond as they looked at her.

"What? You didn't get it?" Class 1-L's rabbit girl inquired.

"No, we understood, but it wasn't funny," Felicia answered.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Monoma laughed as the others looked at him.

"You just got the joke now?" Kendo asked her classmate.

"No. The ridiculous rabbit is the joke," Monoma stated, shining his flashlight on Usagi.

Hearing that insult made Usagi angry as a tic mark appeared on her forehead. Felicia was also angry because of how her friend and classmate was being treated and a tic mark appeared on her forehead.

"Maybe that terrible joke could stop the laughing if we find the source of it," Monoma chided Usagi as he walked to her.

Once he was in front of her, he continued with his chiding.

"I think that the 'L' in Class 1-L could stand for looney, ludicrous, or lunatic because of you, ridiculous rabbit. And you're probably the head of the whole class because you're such a rambunctious, ridiculous rabbit. Talk about in charge of the lunatics unleashed. HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Monoma went on and laughed at Usagi.

Hearing those insults and laughter made Usagi and Felicia even angrier as more anger marks appeared on their foreheads.

As the annoying laughter went on, Felicia had enough of it.

"Kendo!" the British girl shouted as she walked to her.

"What?!" the Class 1-B girl shouted back as the two girls glared at each other when they were face to face.

"Why can't you do more to stop your classmate's constant taunting of the other hero classes?! Are you incapable of doing that?!" Felicia yelled.

"You don't think I want to do more to stop him?" Kendo replied. "Every time Monoma opens his mouth, I can only knock him out with a karate chop to the neck because any other method might be worse for him. I don't like babysitting him, and I'm not incapable of stopping him. It's just that he's so stubborn and persistent with his taunting. As the class rep of Class 1-B, I've got to keep him in check, so others won't dislike the rest of our classmates and me because of his personality. It's such a pain to have constantly watch over him like a baby practically all the time almost every day."

"Why is Monoma constantly acting like that?" Class 1-L's British girl inquired calmly.

"It's because your class and Class 1-A keep upstaging our class, like with the USJ incident and those incidents in Hosu City and Kyoto. Even if Class 1-B hasn't been through real-life experience with facing villains or gets enough attention or opportunity to look heroic, it doesn't mean we can't be great heroes. I think Monoma doesn't like being upstaged by both Class 1-A and Class 1-L. I don't like it either, but I won't go as far as him to show my distaste for it," the Class 1-B girl explained.

"My apologies, Kendo," Felicia said sorry. "I had no idea that watching over Monoma was a burden on you, and that what my class went through affected you both that way. Even so, that doesn't excuse him for his constant taunting and irritating laughter."

"I forgive you, Felicia," Kendo accepted the apology. "And I'm with you there about Monoma. That pain in the neck should learn from the pains in the neck I give him with my karate chops."

"Maybe I can use those methods you mentioned before, like getting the rest of the class to help me or using a muzzle, to stop Monoma. There's also that idea of a leash that your classmate Kai Uno suggested. Both a muzzle and leash could work," the Class 1-B girl thought aloud.

The two girls imagined Kendo walking with a leashed and muzzled Monoma, who was on all fours like a dog.

"Hehehehe," both Felicia and Kendo giggled at that possibility.

"Holy Carrot! I can't take it anymore!" Usagi yelled.

That alerted both Felicia and Kendo to her as the rabbit girl approached Monoma, who was still laughing.

"What is your problem?! Why are you always like this?!" Usagi shouted at him.

The questioning made Monoma stop laughing as he looked at her.

"I don't like that your class and Class 1-A are the only ones who get attention. Even if we haven't been through what your class and Class 1-A have been through, we deserve attention as well. We all are hero classes after all. Not to mention that the kind of attention your class and Class 1-A has gotten has been attracting nothing but trouble for the school. You have no idea how much the consequences of your actions are going to cause trouble for all of us here at U.A. High," Monoma explained accusingly.

"We can't help it if the League of Villains invaded the USJ, while Class 1-A and my class were there, just to attack All Might. And we can't help it if those incidents in Hosu City and Kyoto happened when my friends and classmates were there. The attention we've been getting might be good, but it's also bad. If those kinds of incidents happen again, we'll just have to be strong enough to stop the villains," Usagi replied.

"And I can understand you wanting attention, Monoma. When I was on the search for my mom, I wanted the attention while becoming a hero to help me find her. Even with Sister Koko as like a mom to me, I still wanted to know about my actual mom and get attention from her. Thanks to me being in the Sports Festival, I was able to meet Mirko, my favorite Pro Hero and who turned out to be my aunt too, for my internship. Because of her, now I have an aunt and the Usagiyamas as my family. Even with my mom gone and I can't get attention from her, I still have Sister Koko and my birth-family to care for me and tell me about my mom. I might not have the attention I wanted, but I have the attention I need to keep me going as a person and to be a hero," Class 1-L's rabbit girl continued.

"And you can get attention too, Monoma. If you weren't so pessimistic and focused on what's happening to the other hero classes, then you can focus on improving yourself and get some good attention for you and your class," she added.

What Usagi said made Monoma be quiet, as well as surprise the other girls.

"Blimey," Felicia spoke. "That was quite a response for Usagi."

"Yeah," Kendo agreed. "I didn't know she can speak like that."

Monoma sighed for a moment as he responded to Usagi.

"Alright, alright," he spoke calmly and looked serious. "I'm sorry if my provoking has been bothering you. Maybe I can lay off the taunting a bit so we can focus on our training for the JHOL."

"Holy Carrot! You actually said sorry," Usagi was surprised.

"Blimey! I can't believe Monoma apologized," Felicia was shocked.

"Yeah," Kendo concurred. "I didn't know he had it in him."

Then Monoma looked deranged and spoke in his usual, mocking tone to Usagi.

"But if you think that an apology is going to make my class and me stop from becoming stronger than your class and Class 1-A, then you're wrong. Even if we don't get as much attention or real-life experience as the other hero classes, we're still going to prove ourselves as capable, respectable, and worthy heroes. Don't any of you get big heads about it," he stated. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

Seeing Monoma go back to his usual ways made Usagi sigh.

"Well, the apology was a good start," she said.

"Kendo, your classmate Monoma has many things to work out," Felicia commented.

"Yes, yes he does," Kendo admitted.

"Kendo, I need your help with something," Class 1-L's British girl said, handing the other one her flashlight.

"With what?" the Class 1-B girl asked.

As Monoma's laughing continued, Usagi watched him calmly.

"Even though you're still acting like a jerk, I accept your apology!" she shouted.

Suddenly, Monoma was hit on the back of his head. He was knocked unconscious and fell forward onto the floor.

"Thanks Kendo," Usagi said.

"That wasn't me," Kendo responded, standing next to her.

Usagi looked again to see it was Felicia, holding a frying pan, who knocked out the Class 1-B boy.

"Holy Carrot! Felicia, you knocked out Monoma?" Class 1-L's rabbit girl inquired.

"Yes, I did," Class 1-L's British girl admitted. "His mockery was getting bothersome. Thank you, Kendo, for holding my flashlight and giving me the light to paint this frying pan."

"No problem, Felicia," Kendo replied as she walked to her and gave her back her flashlight. "And truth is, I also needed a break from his laughter. So thanks for knocking him out for me."

"You're welcome," Felicia responded.

With Monoma knocked out on the floor, the girls continued the search of the cafeteria. After a few minutes, the girls joined up with each other.

"We still haven't heard of any laughter or found a possible source of it," Felicia said.

"That just leaves the kitchen to be searched," Kendo pointed out.

"Then let's get in there and search," Usagi declared as they went inside.

In the large school kitchen, the girls used their flashlight to check inside the cabinets, drawers, and refrigerator, and under the tables and counters.

"Did you find anything, Usagi?" Felicia questioned.

"Nope," Usagi shook her head. "This kitchen is huge. I think it's even bigger than the other kitchen I searched during my internship."

"I'm going to check on Kendo," the Class 1-L British girl decided.

"Okay," the Class 1-L rabbit girl accepted.

Felicia walked away and found Kendo checking under a table.

"Kendo, did you find anything?" Felicia wondered.

"No," Kendo responded as she stood up.

Then the two girls heard a strange crunching sound.

"What was that?" Felicia asked.

"I don't know, but it sounds close," Kendo noted.

The two of them followed the sound, which led to the refrigerator. With their flashlights, they found the source of the sound was Usagi munching on a carrot.

Class 1-L's rabbit girl then noticed them looking at her slightly mad.

"What?" Usagi asked, finishing her carrot. "I was hungry and need a snack."

"HAHAHAHAHAHA" they heard a familiar laugh from the dining area.

"Is Monoma awake?" Felicia questioned.

"I thought you knocked him out, Felicia," Usagi remembered.

"I guess her blow with the frying pan wasn't hard as my chop," Kendo remarked.

The girls left the kitchen to check on Monoma. Strangely, they found him still unconscious on the floor as they shined their flashlights on him.

"If Monoma's still asleep," Kendo started.

"Then who was laughing?" Felicia wondered.

"And where's it coming from?" Usagi added.

"HAHAHAHAHA" they heard the laugh again.

The girls searched the dining area for the source of the laughter.

"HAHAHAHAHA" the laughter happened again.

"Hey, girls, check this out," Kendo called out to them.

Felicia and Usagi went to her as she was next to a window.

"Look at this," Kendo showed them.

Outside the window, they saw a tree with some branches and leaves. Some branches with leaves on the end of them were next to the window.

A gust of wind blew by as the branches with leaves on them brushed on the window.

"HAHAHAHAHA" the laugh happened at the same time.

"Blimey!" Felicia was surprised.

"Holy Carrot!" Usagi was shocked.

"Yeah, it looks like the laughter we heard came from the branches and leaves brushing on the window because of the wind," Kendo observed.

"It's kind of weird that the laugh sounds a lot like Monoma's laugh," Usagi noted.

"The similarity is uncanny," Felicia mentioned.

"I'm with you both on that," Kendo agreed. "Now that this mystery is solved, let's get going to the old, abandoned classroom."

Both Class 1-L girls nodded in agreement with her. The three girls walked out of the cafeteria as Kendo dragged an unconscious Monoma by his shirt collar.

On the high school's third floor, the trio of Bakugo, Yuki, and Todoroki were at the stairs.

"Here we are on the third floor," Todoroki stated.

"And at the stairway," Yuki added, shining his flashlight at the stairs.

"Way to state the obvious you two!" Bakugo yelled at them. "Let's get this over with!"

"I counted 30 steps coming up," Class 1-A's half-fire and half-ice boy remembered.

"So did I," Class 1-L's dragon boy agreed. "According to the mystery, there should be another step when we go down the stairway."

"Then let's not miscount so we don't have to go up and down so much for no reason," Class 1-A's explosion boy said.

"So don't freeze up, you icy fire bastard!" Bakugo yelled at his classmate.

"And don't walk with your tail between your legs, dragon bastard! Or get your wings in my way!" Bakugo yelled at Yuki.

"Then you shouldn't get in my way either," Yuki rebuked angrily.

The two of them glared at each other as Todoroki got in between them.

"Both of you need to stop arguing if we're going to finish this quickly," Todoroki pointed out. "Why are you two arguing to begin with?"

"Because this scaly dragon bastard sometimes gets in the way of my victories," Bakugo answered.

"Because I'm trying to do my best when I'm able to and when the opportunity presents itself to me," Yuki replied.

"Why, Bakugo, are you intent on winning and proving you're the best at the JHOL?" Class 1-L's dragon boy questioned.

"Because I want to prove to everyone watching that I'm best with my Quirk, that I can be Japan's number 1 hero, and there's no denial of me being the strongest hero there is," Class 1-A's explosion boy explained.

"Why do you keep getting in my way of showing that, dragon bastard?!" he questioned loudly at Yuki.

"Because I want to be the best hero I can be, but not as the number 1 hero like you do. I want to show others and prove to them that I'm capable of being a hero, regardless of what others say. If I see the opportunity to do that, then I will take it," Yuki answered.

"I understood you both," Todoroki spoke, getting the two boys' attention.

"What?" both boys were confused.

"During the Sports Festival, I wanted to prove to my father and spite him that I was strongest with the ice part of my Quirk only and capable without my fire part. But Midoriya explained to me that both the ice and fire are my Quirk, not my father's. By not using my fire, I wasn't being truly strong or capable of being the hero I want to be," Class 1-A's half-fire and half-ice boy stated.

"Yeah, no duh!" Bakugo angrily commented, remembering back to their fight in the Sports Festival.

"Where are you going with this, Todoroki?" Yuki wondered.

"It was thanks to Midoriya that I remembered that the hero I want to be is the one able to use both my ice and fire together. To do that, I needed to be strong and capable of using my fire and then both my ice and fire together. Strength and capability go hand in hand, and so should the two of you," Todoroki finished explaining.

After that, Yuki and Bakugo looked at each other for a moment.

"I have seen your strength at the Sports Festival and heard of it during the USJ incident and the Final Exams, Bakugo," Class 1-L's dragon boy started. "I acknowledge that you're one of the strongest in your class. I suppose I should let you handle some things on your own."

"From what I saw at the Sports Festival and heard from the USJ incident and Final Exams, I guess you're capable of doing some things on your own and you should be able to do them," Class 1-A's explosion boy said.

"Are you two good with each other now?" Todoroki inquired.

"Yes," Yuki admitted.

"Yeah," Bakugo agreed.

"If we're all done talking, let's get this stupid mystery over with!" Bakugo yelled, going back to his usual ways.

Both Todoroki and Yuki nodded in agreement.

With their flashlights together, they lighted the stairway as they went down the flight of stairs slowly.

While they counted in their heads, Yuki made sure his wings and tail didn't get in the way of either Bakugo or Todoroki.

Soon, they reached the bottom of the stairs.

"I counted 20 steps," Bakugo said.

"Me too," Todoroki stated.

"So did I," Yuki joined in.

"Then what the heck was it about an extra step when you walk down?!" Class 1-A's explosion boy angrily asked.

"Perhaps someone miscounted out of fear," Class 1-A's half-ice and half-fire boy suggested.

"Or someone did it in the dark and lost count," Class 1-L's dragon boy added.

"Whatever! Icy fire bastard and dragon bastard, let's just go the old, abandoned classroom already!" Bakugo was annoyed and walked away.

Both Todoroki and Yuki followed him as they made their way to their destination.

Afterwards, all the groups assembled outside of the old, abandoned classroom.

"Hey, Deku, Tsu, and Iida," Ochaco greeted them. "Good to see you here."

Her friends nodded and waved to her.

"Hey, Bakugo, Todoroki, and Yuki Drago. Good to see you guys made it here," Kirishima stated.

Todoroki and Yuki nodded to him, but Bakugo just looked annoyed as usual.

"Kai, Usagi, Arisa, Felicia, and Junko. Glad to see you dudes and dudettes made it," Eli said to them.

His friends waved and nodded to him, but not Junko because she was sleeping on Momo's shoulder.

"And good to see you two here, Kendo and Monoma," Eli added.

The two Class 1-B students, with Monoma now awake, nodded to him.

"Jiro, Kaminari, and Mineta. It's good to see that you're here," Momo noted.

Her friends and classmates waved and nodded to her.

"Enough with the roll call!" Bakugo complained.

"So, how did everything go with everyone's mysteries?" Kirishima inquired.

"Our mystery was a total bust," Mineta answered.

"Ours was just a wild skeleton chase," Eli said.

"We didn't hear any strange noises at all," Arisa stated.

"There was no strange smell in the locker room," Momo commented.

"Aside from Monoma's laugh here, the only laugh we heard was from a branch and leaf scratching on a window," Kendo mentioned.

"The stairway on the third floor had no extra step," Yuki voiced.

"But there's good some news. Things between Kai and Mineta are okay now," Ochaco revealed.

"Really?" Eli wondered.

"You bet," Mineta confirmed.

"Yeah," Kai nodded.

"That's good to hear," Arisa commented.

"It sure is," Usagi agreed.

"And things between Eli and Iida are good. They're chill now," Kaminari mentioned.

"We sure are," Eli grinned.

"Yes," Iida confirmed.

"That's good for you two," Midoriya was glad.

"Yeah," Ochaco agreed.

"Also, things between Jiro and Kirishima aren't rocky now," Arisa said.

"We're cool now," Jiro grinned.

"You know it," Kirishima smiled.

"That's wonderful," Momo remarked.

"It sure is," Kaminari nodded.

"Yaoyorozu and Neru are okay with each other now, ribbit," Asui mentioned.

"We are," Momo smiled.

"Zzzz..." Junko snored with a grin.

"That's good to hear," Ochaco commented.

"Indeed," Felicia agreed.

"And Felicia and I are okay with each other now," Kendo stated.

"Yes, we are," Felicia concurred.

"That's good for you two," Jiro remarked.

"It is," Arisa agreed.

"And Monoma and I have an understanding now," Usagi admitted.

"Really?" Arisa asked.

"Sure do," Class 1-L's rabbit girl confirmed with a grin.

"Don't read too much into it," Monoma said with a frown.

"Even so, that's surprising, but good to know," Arisa remarked.

"Yeah. Way to go, Usagi," Eli cheered.

"I wasn't expecting that," Kai stated.

"Yeah, I wasn't expecting that either," Kendo agreed.

"Indeed," Felicia nodded.

"And Bakugo and Drago also have an understanding," Todoroki spoke.

"For real?" Kirishima questioned.

"Yes," Yuki nodded.

"Whatever," Bakugo calmly said.

"Alright. Nice job, Bakugo and Drago," Kirishima cheered.

"It's surprising that someone outside of Class 1-A managed to understand Bakugo," Iida commented.

"It is," Midoriya agreed.

"Shut up!" Bakugo yelled.

"Now that we're all here, let's just enter this old, abandoned classroom and see if the last mystery is true or not," Kai proposed.

"Kai's right," Midoriya concurred. "Everyone, let's do this."

Most of the others nodded in agreement as Kai opened the door and they all entered the classroom.

Once inside, they saw with their flashlights what the old, abandoned room had. It looked like a standard classroom with the usual chairs, desks, windows, podium, and blackboard. Though the whole room and objects were dirty-looking and covered in dust and cobwebs.

"I'm just gonna say it. This place is dank," Kaminari commented.

"Dirty," Jiro added.

"And dismal," Momo finished.

"Oh my," Arisa said.

"Don't forget creepy," Mineta mentioned.

"Perhaps we can search for the 'odd reason' this classroom was closed down," Felicia suggested.

"Yes," Iida agreed. "Let us disprove one half of this final mystery."

"Yeah, let's do this gang," Kirishima stated.

"I'm with you there, Kirishima," Eli grinned.

"HAHAHA! With you Class 1-A and 1-L as magnets for trouble, I have almost no doubt we'll find the 'odd reason' here," Monoma laughed.

"Monoma, not the time. Sorry about him," Kendo apologized.

"Enough talk! Let's search already!" Bakugo yelled.

Right away, they separated into their previous groups and searched the room. With their flashlights, they checked the floors, walls, windows, podium, and corners but found nothing strange.

After searching, they regrouped in the center of the classroom.

"Our group didn't find anything. What about the rest of you?" Kai asked the others.

The rest of the students shook their heads and murmured that they didn't find anything.

"The only place we haven't checked are the desks," Midoriya noted.

"I just hope there's nothing scary underneath," Ochaco said.

"Me too, ribbit," Asui agreed.

"After that, it'll all be over," Usagi stated.

"Actually, this is only one half of this mystery," Todoroki pointed out.

"We still have the other half to figure out," Yuki mentioned.

"Oh yeah," Usagi realized. "I forgot about that."

Soon, each student checked underneath the twenty desks, even the sleeping Junko.

Meanwhile, Junko sensed something strange in the room and got out from under the desk.

She checked the room and found a pair of glowing red eyes in a dark corner of the room.

"ZZZZZZ..." Junko snored loudly.

When the other students heard her, they all got out from under the desks and looked at her.

"That was one loud snore, Junko," Usagi commented, rubbing her rabbit ears.

"Yeah, Neru. What gives with you?" Jiro questioned, rubbing her ears.

Junko pointed at the dark corner, and everyone looked in that direction, seeing the glowing red eyes.

"Holy Carrot!" Usagi yelled.

"Blimey!" Felicia shouted.

"What is that?!" Mineta screamed.

Most of the other students either looked scared and shivered or looked calm but stayed silent.

"Everyone," Kai, who was calm, got everyone's attention. "I think we should shed some light on this mystery."

"Kai's right," Midoriya agreed. "We have to do this."

The others nodded in agreement as they all aimed their flashlights at the glowing pair of red eyes.

The combined shining lights then revealed that the red eyes belonged to none other than Mr. Aizawa, the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A and the Pro Hero Eraser Head. He wore his usual clothes and hung from the ceiling with his binding clothes wrapped around his knife, which was plunged into the wall.

"Can you lot get those lights out of my face? I can't see," he complained, looking away with his eyes closed and shielding his face with his hand.

"Mr. Aizawa?" the Class 1-A students questioned.

"Eraser Head?" the Class 1-L and 1-B students wondered.

The students did what they were told and moved the light from the flashlights away from the teacher/Pro Hero.

Then Eraser Head lowered himself down and landed on the floor, pulling down his binding cloth and knife.

"Mr. Aizawa, what are you doing where?" Midoriya inquired the teacher, who put away his knife and wrapped his binding cloth around his neck.

"I'm here to check on you lot. Making sure you don't hurt yourselves or each other, or cause damage to the school, like some of you might do," Eraser Head answered, eyeing Bakugo.

That angered Bakugo, who angrily glanced away.

"Anyway, how have your investigations of the mysteries been so far?" Mr. Aizawa asked the students.

"We've found nothing unusual of the mysteries, sir," Iida responded first.

"Yeah. None of them happened at all," Eli added.

"I suspected you lot would find nothing unusual tonight," Eraser Head said.

"What do you mean?" Midoriya wondered.

"Because the mysteries aren't real," the Pro Hero revealed.

"What?" most of the students asked.

"The first six of the so-called mysteries were just tricks that the older students played on younger students with their Quirks to scare them at night," Mr. Aizawa admitted. "Moving the head bust and skeleton model, and creating a strange noise, weird smell, laughter, and extra step. Though the past teachers stopped those older students and their tricks, some younger students believed the tricks were the mysteries of this school."

"What about the 'odd reason' that this classroom was closed down?" Kai inquired.

"Well, the reason is because some students used it for 'special privacy' when they were 'fond' of each other. Even some teachers back then did the same with each other," Eraser Head answered.

Hearing what the teacher implied made most of the students look disgusted or grossed out, even the sleeping Junko.

"Once that was found out, no one wanted to be in a classroom where that sort happened. So the teachers back then had it shut down, but they never explained what truly happened to anyone outside of the faculty and staff," the Pro Hero added.

"Indecent," Iida declared

"Shameful," Momo commented.

"Vulgar," Felicia remarked.

"Gross," Monoma mentioned.

"Bad! Very bad!" Eli interjected.

Most of the other student glanced at Eli, which he noticed.

"What? It is," Eli defended himself. "Who would do that in a classroom?"

"I think that might be scarier than anything we've seen tonight," Arisa stated.

"And disturbing," Kai added.

"I don't see what's so bad about 'it'," Mineta said, not looking bothered.

"Me neither," Kaminari agreed.

Suddenly, Jiro put her earphone jack in Kaminari, sending vibrations into him, to silence him for a bit. Also, Asui used her tongue to slap Mineta in the face.

"Shut it, you two," Jiro ordered.

"Ribbit," Asui nodded.

"I don't understand what 'it' is and how bad 'it' is," Todoroki spoke.

"I don't understand either," Yuki joined in.

Most of the students sweat-dropped and looked at them.

"Todoroki, what 'it' is is nothing for you to worry about," Momo assured him.

"The same goes for you, Yuki Drago," Felicia assured her classmate.

"Anyway, you zygotes should leave now," Eraser Head insisted.

"Though if you're curious to know what happened here back then, you can stay as I tell you, in excruciating details," the Pro Hero suggested with his red eyes glowing.

Given the options, the students made their way to the exit immediately.

While they walked, they overheard the U.A High teacher speak to them.

"You all should be careful when you stick your noses where they don't belong. You might not like where they lead you or what they might get you stuck into," Mr. Aizawa warned them.

Once they were out of the classroom, most of them kept walking away.

Though Midoriya and Kai stopped walking and decided to ask the teacher what he meant.

"Mr. Aizawa, what do you mean..." Midoriya started, as he and Kai looked back.

Though once they did, the pair saw no sign of the Pro Hero.

"Where'd he go?" Kai questioned.

"I guess he left his usual hero way," Midoriya assumed. "As expected of the Underground Hero."

"We should catch up with the others," Kai said, seeing the others still walking away.

"Right," Midoriya agreed.

Afterwards, the group of first-years headed back to Gym Gamma and met up with their third-year coaches inside.

"Oh. So, you guys made it back in one piece," Fernando observed with a bored look.

"And none of you look scared or wet," he added, still bored. "How boring."

"Grrr..." Leo spoke.

"Leo said that's good for you first-year students," Lola translated.

"How was looking into the mysteries?" Chojiro questioned.

"And how are you all feeling now?" Lola wondered.

"Those mysteries were nothing but total crud!" Bakugo shouted.

"Bakugo, don't shout at our seniors!" Iida scolded him.

"The mysteries were nothing more than a waste of our time," Monoma added.

"HAHAHAHA! I think I just solved a different mystery that no else did. It's no mystery that Feroz guy wanted us to waste our time because he's wasting his time with us," the Class 1-B guy ranted.

Suddenly, Kendo karate-chopped Monoma on the knock, making him fall unconscious. and she held him by the back of his shirt's collar.

"Sorry about him," she apologized.

"Anyway, thanks to those mysteries, now everyone who was arguing with each other before feels better now," Ochaco changed the subject.

"Yeah. Somehow looking into the mysteries helped those who were arguing with each other to overcome their issues so they can work together," Midoriya agreed.

"And now they've made peace with each other and have a better understanding, but a few of them might still have issues with each other," Arisa mentioned.

"Is that true?" Lola asked the other students.

The former arguers murmured that they felt better now and better understand each other, even the sleeping Junko. Those who mediated the former arguers agreed with them.

"Kai and I are good now," Mineta said as Kai nodded.

"Same goes for Iida and me," Eli joined in as Iida grinned.

"Kirishima and I are okay," Jiro stated as Kirishima nodded.

"Junko and I are alright," Momo mentioned with Junko sleeping on her shoulder.

"Kendo and I are jolly good," Felicia grinned and so did Kendo, who was still holding the unconscious Monoma.

"Monoma and I might understand each better, but he's still gonna act the way he does and I can handle it now," Usagi told them.

"The same can be said for Bakugo and Drago," Todoroki commented.

Both Bakugo and Yuki Drago nodded in agreement.

"After this whole experience, I'm sure you all learned an important lesson," Lola said.

"What lesson is that?" Midoriya asked.

"The lesson is about working together," she revealed to them.

"What do you mean?" Kai wondered.

"While you're all students training hard to accomplish the same goal of becoming heroes, you all have differences. That sometimes can lead to you clashing with each other, leading to arguments and separation," Lola started explaining.

The first-year students listened to her as she spoke.

"You might have have known each other before in junior high or during the entrance exams and either got along well or had difficulties."

Midoriya, Bakugo, Iida, and Ochaco listened, and so did Kai and Usagi.

"You might have difficulties with your classmates when your time here at UA High started, but you could have got along well with them over time or not."

Most of the first-years murmured in agreement.

"All of you here, except Kawasaki, Marvell, Kendo, and Monoma, were in the USJ incident. You put aside whatever difficulties were there and learned to work together with your fellow classmates and schoolmates until help arrived. Despite the terrible incident, you might be more acquainted with your classmates and schoolmates."

Most of the Class 1-A and Class 1-L students nodded.

"Some tensions might have risen during the Sports Festival when you had to compete against your classmates and schoolmates. By now, either those tensions subsided or they still remain, making it difficult for you to get along with certain people."

Midoriya, Todoroki, Kai, and Yuki Drago nodded.

"You also had to get along with the interns you met during your internship and cooperate with your classmate during the Final Exam. You probably got along well with your fellow intern during the internship and cooperated with your classmate to pass the Final Exam."

Most of the first-years nodded and murmured in agreement to that.

"Now as a team of first-years brought together, even if you still have difficulties or not with your fellow teammates, you must be able to either overcome them or put them aside for the greater good. You all must be able to work together as a united team in the JHOL. This lesson is not only for the JHOL, but also for your time here at UA High and as heroes for the future," Lola finished.

"That makes sense," Midoriya understood.

"It does," Kai agreed.

The other first-years murmured in agreement with them.

Then Monoma woke up from being knocked unconscious.

"Uhh. What happened?" he asked.

"I'll fill you in on it later," Kendo assured him, letting him go as he got up.

"Anyway, I just want to be cleared up on something. So all the mysteries weren't true?" Chojiro inquired, changing the subject.

"That's right. We investigated the first six mysteries in our respective groups and the last one all together and none of them were true," Midoriya answered.

The other first-years nodded and murmured in agreement.

"Mr. Aizawa explained it to us that all the mysteries were just tricks that older students played on younger students at night," Kai added.

"Mr. Aizawa?" Lola and Chojiro repeated confused.

"Grrr?" Leo was also confused.

Fernando still looked bored as he listened.

"Yeah. Eraser Head was there in the classroom with us," Midoriya said.

"He was there to check on us while investigating the mysteries," Kai mentioned.

"Mr. Aizawa didn't tell us seniors about him checking on you all," Chojiro told the first-years.

"Also, it's impossible for him to be here. He's at a restaurant with the other teachers. It's a long way from here on foot, or scarf in Mr. Aizawa's case," Lola stated.

"What?" Kai and Midoriya questioned.

"See you for yourselves," Lola responded, taking out her cell phone.

When she found the right image, she showed it to the first-year students. They saw that it was a picture of Aizawa, Speed Girl, Midnight, and Ms. Heal eating at a restaurant together. The timestamp on the picture showed it was sent from Speed Girl to Lola five minutes ago, the same time when the first-years spoke to Mr. Aizawa.

"WHAT?!" most of the first-years screamed.

Junko stopped snoring for a moment as a snot bubble was coming out of her nose.

Everyone was quiet as an eerie sense of confusion and dread filled the air. Some of them had silent yet shocked expressions on their faces. The silence was broken when Junko's snot bubble popped.

"ZZZzzz..." Junko snored.

"But if Mr. Aizawa was at the restaurant while we were investigating the classroom..." Ochaco started.

"Then who were we speaking to in the old, abandonded?" Jiro finished and inquired.

"Holy Carrot! Was that Mr. Aizawa we saw actually a ghost?" Usagi wondered.

"I don't know, Usagi," Arisa responded unsure.

"W-w-why did have to ask that, Usagi?" Mineta asked frightened, shaking in fear.

"C-c-come on now. That couldn't have been a ghost," Kaminari said, equally frightened. "We proved all the mysteries were bunk."

"Actually, no we didn't, ribbit," Asui pointed out.

"The final mystery had two parts to it. We only solved one part of it," Todoroki reminded them.

"The last part of the final mystery was about when meeting someone you know, but it isn't the exact same person you know," Yuki explained.

"So that means the Mr. Aizawa we saw..." Arisa started, looking a bit scared.

"Could have been a ghost?" Ochaco finished, looking just as scared.

"Holy Carrot! Were we meeting and talking with a ghost?!" Usagi shouted.

Soon there was silence once again.

"Don't you all be stupid! There's no such thing as ghosts!" Bakugo angrily yelled, breaking the silence.

"Easy, Bakugo," Kirishima calmed his friend down. "I'm with Bakugo on this. The Mr. Aizawa we saw was too real to be a ghost."

"Yeah, I think he was the real deal," Eli agreed. "I think the third-years here might be tricking us just to spook us a bit because the other mysteries weren't true."

"No, we're not," Chojiro denied shaking his head.

Lola and Leo shook their heads, and Fernando still looked bored.

"Eli! Don't accuse our seniors of such a thing!" Iida scolded him, and then calmed down. "Anyhow, I think the Mr. Aizawa we saw was real. It would be preposterous to think he was a ghost."

"I'd have to agree with Iida. Seeing supposed ghosts are just tricks that your mind and eyes play on you when you feel scared, Momo reasoned.

"Indeed. Also, since there has been no proof of ghosts, therefore they can't exist," Felicia added.

"HAHAHAHA!" Monoma laughed. "You Class 1-A and 1-L dupes are so gullible to believe that ghosts exist. HAHAHAHA!"

"Monoma, this isn't the time or place for that!" Kendo scolded him, covering his mouth.

"What do you think, Deku?" Ochaco asked him.

"I think the Mr. Aizawa we saw was real," Midoriya answered. "Since he's the Underground Hero, he's more active at night and can move quickly. I think he easily and quickly left the classroom after we left and then he met up with the other teachers."

"Do you think so too, Kai?" Arisa questioned him.

"I don't know for certain," Kai replied. "On one hand, Midoriya can be right about Mr. Aizawa coming and going as quickly as he did. On the other hand, if that Mr. Aizawa we saw was a ghost, then I guess he let us all go for some reason. Either way, we're all here safe and sound. So does it really matter if it was a ghost or not?"

"Perhaps Kai is right," Felicia spoke as everyone looked at her. "At the end of the day, we're all still here, and we're safe, sound, and better than before. Whether it was a ghost or not, that shouldn't matter as we have to focus on our training for the JHOL. Though we can't outrule the possiblility of a ghost, it wouldn't be wise for us to fret over it."

"Perhaps we should let this possibility go and simply say it was the real Mr. Aizawa we saw," Class 1-L's British girl suggested.

"I guess we can," Jiro said.

"I'm with Felicia on this too," Arisa spoke.

The other first-years nodded and murmured in agreement too.

Though Lola, Chojiro and Leo looked at each other confused and worried, and Fernando still looked bored and like he didn't care.

However, the truth is that the explanation behind the students who went missing after finding the seventh mystery is that they went into the abandoned classroom, but never came back because the classroom trapped them and disappeared with them. Where they disappeared to is to up to your imagination.

Meanwhile, in the old, abandoned classroom, the supposed Mr. Aizawa was standing there with the door open.

"HAHAHAHAHA," he laughed eerily as his eyes glowed red.

The classroom doors then closed shut on their own as his laughter continued and echoed in the night.
