Past;

The start of war between the Leaf Village, Stone village and Sand village started soon after Saiko turned eighteen, and started to figure out some of the elemental jutsus on her own and hanging out with the Inuzuka trio once more after not doing so since the recruitment in the orphanage so long ago. Kizuki being almost twenty-one, while Kori and Kin were closer to seventeen or eighteen themselves, which felt like she had her family back after being forcibly taken in by an unwanted father, although Saiko hoped she would actually liked a father figure in her life, just not the teacher she had currently.

Shimura Danzo never attempts to act like a father, which Saiko felt would feel much worse if he even attempted to try, as he gave her different tasks to practice her chakra control, or to stretch her chakra to make it last longer under high stress situations.

'I am going to train to survive anything. I am going to train to survive anything.' she repeated internally to herself, even as she felt her eyes focus on her teacher, readily prepared for any movement that needs to be dodged or any impossible question that would warrant a sudden ambush from random ally jonin, or even an extremely difficult mission as punishment for not being at her tip top game.

Even as the whispers of war started to occur through the leaf, and the idea that anyone who accomplished alot through the war could be seen as a competent.

Danzo stared into Saiko's fearless gray eyes with intensity and examined her with every moment that passed, whether she flinched from the cool breeze, the fall of a leaf on her hand or a bird cawing in the breeze.

"Are you hiding something, child?" Shimura Danzo spoke with what could be described as soothing, but not to Saiko as she thought about her moments of peace away from her sensei, however limited they were.

present, 3rd person;

Kakashi was considering his options as he could not really ask teammates about Saiko, as it sounded like she did not have any real teammates besides when she had matches with the third hokages team; Tsunade, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya. Which made it more difficult, as asking Shimura Danzo was like going up against Orochimaru, one-on-one, but Kakashi could feel a nervous shrug shiver through him, as he did that while Sasuke, his student, was unconscious nearby him.

"I would rather deal with Tsunade-hime's intense strength and fierceness over either Orochimaru or Shimura Danzo any day." He muttered to himself, as he could only imagine facing the sannin and seeing her intense strength aimed at him, and the slight fear of facing one of the legendary sannin, even a person known more for healing then harming.

"Jiraiya it is, then." He nodded to himself, heading in the direction of the hot springs out of suspicion and hope that the yelling in the distance is the sannin, and not a particular student causing trouble.

Past;

Saiko took on many different missions due to Shimura sensei's intense desire to showcase his student as the best at any situation, mainly because of his amazing teaching skills, although when she was off duty she took it with zealous joy. She left the village on personal trips with the current hokage fully aware she was on a personal trip and would return before any missions she would be assigned, or sooner if sent a hawk. Which always worked well for herself as she wanted to disappear from the village and far away from her sensei's focus and intense training; which was a funny irony, where the training made her impossible to ever find, besides for the moments she lets herself be found at all.

This was different as she could catch a whiff of smoke in the air and almost hear strange, unpleasant sounds in the air. She knew the maps of the country fairly well to still be in the land of fire, but she could smell smoke in the distance and wondered what was going on in the distance. Sending chakra to her ears and nose, sniffing the air more and trying to find what is going on by the two senses that were effected most.

She came upon a small, not even a new village; but an off-shoot from the Leaf village, like a town created to give the main hub leaf village some breathing room, it had a half done sign with the leaf sign in the center; but it was smoldering in half, while people were running and screaming and people who appeared like shinobi, whether they were rogue ninjas or not, was unknown to Saiko at the moment. She saw so much going on, people running and getting killed and children trying to hide.

"Uhm..." Saiko felt herself go numb, almost stuck, not able to think cause the situation was so chaotic, but after freezing for a couple moments she transformed into a stranger whom had brunette plain hair, eyes and clothes and ran through the village quickly to grab at least one healthy child she saw hiding well and staying at least a little calm through the whole thing.

'I can't save all of them, but it looks like this small... clan? Well, family? It is something that was targeted, I think?' Saiko kept thinking, as she struggled to save more of the younger members of the clan, grabbing two more kids and trying to duck around the rogue looking ninjas. Before she finally took three little kids and diving into the bushes with them, hoping against hope that none of those shinobis saw a brown blur race through with yellow streaks in the middle.

Looking at the blonde haired trio she was holding onto in a near death grip to her bosom, no where near as large as Tsunade's large bosom is, but more a subtle bump. Swiftly turning her focus to her surroundings, then looking around, she started back towards the leaf village. Ducking into side villages and towns on the occasion to make sure the trio of blonde kids she grabbed are okay, or toddlers it looked like from how plump their faces appeared.

Giving a slight smile, she whispers "Your safe. Just stay calm and Listen to me." Her deep grey eyes focused on the three pairs of eyes looking back towards her.

I heard interesting theories on the Namikaze clan and am playing with that, although I always hoped Minato had other sibling or family with him, even if not shinobi as well.
