"Right so Sharon here's the first pill , take your time aslong as you need"

"Thankyou."

Two minutes went by and then five.

"Are you sure you want to do this Sharon?" Amanda asked.

"Yeah I just need a minute." And then I get the courage and picked up the little plastic pot the tablet was inside, and with a gulp of water it was gone. Just like my marriage.

"Okay so you could get some cramping ,fatigue, feeling sick ect so sort of before your time of the month symptoms.

"Yeah , it's okay I'll be with my mum anyway."

"Okay well in this is the pill for tomorrow I'd probably recommend taking it in the morning."

"I will do." "Thankyou."

" no need to thank me I'm just doing me job." She smiled.

As I made my way back to the car. Mum got out to open the door for me.

"You okay shal?"

Yeah I'm fine I've got another pill to take tomorrow and some antibiotics to help me get back to normal after it."

"Come here darling." As we hugged she told me she was proud although part of me did wonder what she was proud of.

After another silent car journey , I told mum I was going for a lie down as it has been a long day.

A couple of hours later.

"I've run you a bath shal... and I'll sort you out a hot water bottle for when your done hopefully help ease your cramps yeah...I'll make your favourite tea aswell for when you get out."

"Thankyou mum I'll be out in a second" I replied wiping my eyes. Although I feel like ive made the right decision it still hurts.

As I got out the bath my mum had made my spaghetti bolognaise, it was my second favourite but I'm not complaining. She's been amazing the past couple of weeks.

"Thankyou for the tea mum it's lovely."

"You don't have to thank me darlin , you can repay me when you feel up to it can't you she giggled."

And for the first time since all this started I giggled with her.

"Tonight we'll have a mother and daughter film night ey , just like we did when you was a teenager and abit of mum time could fix anything you may have bigger problems now but I'm still always here I promise."

"I know thankyou" I replied as I laid my head on her as if I was four years old again.

The next morning I took Amanda's advice and took the second pill , before going out to pick up my antibiotics from the pharmacy, for the first time in two weeks everything felt clearer as hard as it was and how upset I was I sort of felt relieved now it was over , and I feel that makes me sound like a terrible person but that's how I felt no matter how hard it is to do the right thing sometimes it's for best.
