two point one Chapter 6: New arrivals part 6, a Kamen Rider + Dead Space Crossover fanfic

The two of them set off, going back the way they came in.

Suddenly, something ran overhead as the two of them exited the room.

"What was that-!?" Lucy flinched.

"Probably another one of those monsters." Worm replied.

Suddenly, there was a loud roar.

Worm jumped into shock and Lucy clung to her back.

"What was that-!?" Lucy screamed in shock.

"I'm not sticking around to find out!" Worm took off running with Lucy still on her backplate. She took a right turn and then ran through a door to the left, down the sloping corridor. Reaching the end of it, Worm had to use another hornet drone to prop open the malfunctioning door.

Suddenly vents on the floors burst open and out came three Berotha Magia but there was a fourth Magia with them, this one was a new type.

Its skin looked like a black undersuit with its hands looking like gloves and its feet appearing to be boots. It's feet had three bright silver claws coming from the front of them. A dark brown wire trailed up to a bright silver knee guard. Coming from the top of the knee guards was another wire that lead to bright silver armor on its pelvis. Dark brown armor wrapped around the front of its upper legs two black straps wrapping around the limbs, keeping it in place, the wries went under them. It's chest looked like a brown chestplate held together with silver wires. The wires coming from its legs lead up and into the chestplate while two more came from each side, running over its shoulders and down its upper arms. The wires lead into its upper arms that were in the shape of a pair of large mechanical gauntlets that ended in a pair of hydraulic cutters. Coming from the monster's tail bone was a dark brown mechanical scorpion tail. It's was dark brown with a silver mouthguard and a black visor going across its eyes. It had four lines coming from the top half that made it look like it was wearing a scorpion over its head.

Within the extinction riser was the ancient scorpion progrise keycard. It was identical to ancient mantis progrise keycard but it's screen was colored dark brown and the photo negative was of a scorpion. The top word had been changed to 'PULMONOSCORPIUS'

This was a Pulmonoscorpius Magia.

Then a second one burst from a vent.

Let the battle begin!

Worm grabbed the case staff off of her backplate and pushed its trigger into the right corner of its handle. [STAFF RISE!] She blocked an upwards slash from the first Berotha Magia and jumped into the air as she pulled the skittering hornet progrise keycard from the zero one driver's slot before flipping it shut. She slammed it into her staff's slot. [PROGRISE KEYCARD CONFIRMED! READY TO UTILIZE: Hornet's ability!] Worm landed on the ground and punched forwards, shooting a wasp drone forwards, deflecting a swing from the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia's tail. Worm pulled the trigger back into the center of the handle, converting the staff back into its case form. [CHARGE RISE!] She quickly pushed the trigger back into the right corner of the handle. [FULL CHARGE!] As the case was mecha shifting back into a staff, Worm swung it, knocking the third Berotha Magia backwards.

Then she hit the trigger. [SKITTERING BAG SCYTHE!] Worm spun her staff over her head, knocking away another swing from the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia's tail before she gripped the staff in both hands and slammed it into the ground. Dark brown cracks spread along the floor before a swarm of dark brown bees burst from it and they attacked the first Berotha Magia. Suddenly, the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia's tail slammed into Worm's ribs and sent her flying through the air. She flipped and landed on the ground, skidding before she gripped her side in pain. She launched the bee drones from her lower right leg and the right side of her backplate. They surrounded the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia and opened fire on it.

Worm ducked under a slash from the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia's tail and then leapt into the air, avoiding a barrage of spinning dark green energy crescents. The hornet drone on the left side of her backplate detached as she landed on the ground and floated in front of her, blocking a slash from the first Berotha Magia, which had managed to escape the bees. Worm spun, ramming her right elbow into the side of its head, knocking the monster over. She jumped into the air as both of the bee drones returned to her and fired her forearm wasp drones down at the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia. But it spun, using its tail to deflect the attack away, both drones spun through the air before returning to the Kamen Rider's arms.

Worm landed on the ground and spun around, using the hornet drones on her breastplate to block a stab from the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia's tail. Grunting she spun to the side and slammed a kick into the monster's back, making it stagger forwards. Right into a beam from a bee drone that sent it flipping backwards. Worm kicked upwards, throwing the monster into the sky. She ducked down, causing the first and second Berotha Magia's to punch each other in the face. Keeping low to the ground, Worm spun, kicking the monster's legs out from under them. The wasp drone on her right lower arm and her lower left leg shot into the sky before turning around and coming down. They pierced through both monster's stomachs and pinned them to the ground.

Worm rolled to the right, avoiding a claw that was aimed at her neck before the hornet drone on her right upper arm detached. It blocked a slash from the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia, Worm pulled back her right boot and tried to kick it in the stomach. Only for its tail to wrap around her leg and fling her across the room. The Kamen Rider slammed into a wall and groaned as she pulled herself back to her boots. She tapped her progrise keycard's button once. [SWARM!] Then she took it from her driver and flipped it closed before scanning it. [BIT RISE!] Using her left hand Worm pulled the keycard open and rammed it back into her driver's slot. [SKITTERING HIGH BIT IMPACT!] Worm ran forwards and slid under a swing from the monster's tail before leaping up. It managed to grab her right arm with its left claw and slam her into the ground only for Worm to ram her knee into its stomach. The bee drone on her right lower leg detached and turned so it was pointing up before firing into the monster's stomach, sending the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia flying across the room. The third Berotha Magia jumped into the air and came down with both its blades aimed at the Kamen Rider's back. Worm jumped into the air and spun, the wasp drones returned to her lower arms but kept their blades ignited. Worm slashed around, cutting off the monster's arms before it had a chance to do anything! She flipped and landed on the ground as the monster hit the floor face first.

Suddenly, the second Berotha Magia appeared behind Worm in a burst of speed and rammed its blade through her stomach. Worm screamed in pain before slamming her left elbow back into the monster's head, forcing it backwards.

Worm removed the skittering hornet progrise keycard from the zero one driver's slot and flipped it closed before jumping back. She scanned it over her driver's scanner four times. [BIT RISE!] [BYTE RISE!] [KILO RISE!] [MEGA RISE!] Then she flipped it open and slammed it back into her driver's slot. [SKITTERING MEGA IMPACT!] All four of Worm's bee drones rose off of her body and floated in front of her in a diamond formation before they started spinning.

A sphere of dark brown energy formed in the middle of the formation before Worm punched forwards and the orb turned into a massive beam of energy. It slammed into the second Berotha Magia and sent it flying. It shot through the air before slamming into the room's wall and dropping back down to the ground bonelessly.

Suddenly, the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia wrapped its tail around Worm's neck, pulling her up before the second one drove its stinger into her stomach.

In panic Worm hit the back of the skittering hornet progrise key. [SKITTERING IMPACT!] The wasp drone detached from her lower left leg and shot around, slicing through the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia's tail, forcing it to let her go. She dropped to the ground and drove her left elbow back into the monster's stomach, forcing it backwards. She hoped over a swing from the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia's and snap kicked it in the jaw.

Suddenly, the first Berotha Magia lunged at Worm, swinging its blades down in an x. Worm jumped back and pulled the skittering hornet progrise keycard from the zero one driver's slot. She landed on the ground as she used her left hand to flip it closed before hitting its button. [SWARM!] Then she scanned it across her driver's scanner three times. [BIT RISE!] [BYTE RISE!] [KILO RISE!] The monster lunged forwards and swung its arms down even as Worm slid the keycard back into her driver after reopening it. [SKITTERING HIGH KILO IMPACT!] Worm thrust her left hand forwards and fired a dark brown spider web from it that wrapped around the first Berotha Magia, snapping its arms to its sides.

Worm pulled back both of her fists as the wasp drones and bee drones shot off her body. The bee drones lined up in a vertical line to her right while the wasp drones did the same on her left.

The bee drones opened fire, each firing a continuous beam of dark brown light that slammed into the first Berotha Magia, throwing it backwards. Worm swung her right arm up and the wasp drones shot forwards, slashing through the monster several times while it was still in the air. Suddenly, the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia swung its tail around like a whip, knocking all of the drones away. The drones locked back onto Worm's armor as she ducked under a punch from the third Berotha Magia and then punched it in the stomach. It stumbled back and Worm ran forwards, grabbing its shoulder she leavered herself up before coming down, ramming her elbow into its head. Then she grabbed the monster and turned, bringing it over her shoulder, slamming it into the ground.

Worm leapt into the sky, avoiding the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia tail and pulled the case staff of her back plate. She pulled the trigger away from the right corner. [CHARGE RISE!] The staff started to collect energy after mecha shifting back into its briefcase form. Worm landed back on the ground and pushed the trigger back into the right corner of the handle. [FULL CHARGE!] The weapon transformed back into its staff form as Worm slammed the tip of it into the ground and pulled the trigger. [BAG SCYTHE!] The first Berotha Magia pushed the button on its extinction riser twice. [EXTINCTION SUPERNOVA!] Bright green energy gathered in its blades as it pulled them back. "BEE DRILL!" Worm swung her weapon upwards, cutting a dark brown line through the floor, out of which came a swarm of bees. The monster slashed down to the right with its left blade before swinging its other blade up to the left, the weapons left trails of green line in their wake, forming an X. The bee slammed into the X and hit held out for a good six seconds before cracks spread through it. The X shattered and the bees slammed into the monster, throwing it backwards, causing it to explode! [BAG SCYTHE!]

Suddenly, the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia wrapped its tail around Worm's right leg and yanked her off of her feet, holding her upside down. Worm pointed both fists at the monster and the wasp drones on her lower arms shot forwards, slicing through the monster's side. It snarled and slammed Worm into the ground, causing her drone to drop to the ground. Worm groaned as she was raised back up before slamming her staff around. It hit the side of the monster's tail, forcing it to drop her. The Kamen Rider flipped and landed on the ground before shooting forwards. She spun her staff to gaim momentum before stabbing it into the monster's stomach, forcing it to hunch over in pain. It was sent flying backwards but Worm snarled in pain as the Pulmonoscorpius Magia stabbed her in the back with its tail and injected venom into her body.

Worm spun her staff upwards, hitting the monster, sending it flying into the sky but then grunted as purple lightning crackled over her body. "How did it?" then Worm realized what had just happened. "Whatever it just injected me with!" the second Beroha Magia slashed down with its right blade, cutting through Worm's breastplate. Worm threw herself backwards and sparks sprayed from the cut, narrowly avoiding a second slash. With a mental command, the two wasp drones on the ground rose back into the air and turned towards the second Berotha Magia. They shot at it from behind, only for it to jump into the air, doing a backflip to avoid the two sharp pointy swords.

Worm smirked behind her faceplate.

She had launched the bee drones from her hips, the floated in the air pointing down. Both of them fired, their energy blasts slamming into the second Berotha Magia while it was still in the air, ramming it into the ground.

Worm quickly removed the skittering hornet progrise keycard from the zero one driver's slot with her right hand before using her left hand to close it. Then she scanned the keycard across her driver's scanner four times. [BIT RISE!] [BYTE RISE!] [KILO RISE!] [MEGA RISE!] Worm flipped the keycard open and slammed it into the zero one driver's slot. [SKITTERING MEGA IMPACT!] Her other two bee drones rose off of her body as the already deployed two moved in front of her. The four of them formed into a vertical diamond formation before they started spinning in a vertical circle. A sphere of dark brown energy formed in the middle of the formation. "HORNET BUSTER!" Worm punched forwards with both fists and the sphere collapsed into a beam of column sized energy. The second Berotha Magia had just finished getting back up and had no time to do anything as the attack washed over it. There was an explosion within the beam as the monster was put to rest. [SKITTERING MEGA IMPACT!]

Suddenly, the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia grabbed Worm's arm with its right claw and flipped her over its back, slamming her into the ground, back first. Worm managed to remove her keycard from her driver and flip it closed. She rolled to the side, avoiding the monster's other claw hitting the ground where her head had just been as she scanned the keycard. [BIT RISE!] The Kamen Rider flipped back to her feet and scanned the keycard a second time.

[BYTE RISE!] Then she jumped back, avoiding a tail sweep from the second scorpion based Magia before opening the keycard and slamming it back into her driver's slot. [SKITTERING BYTE IMPACT!] She ejected the hornet drones from her breastplate and the one from her backplate as the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia thrust its tail at her from behind while the second attacked from the front, thrusting both of its claws at Worm's back. The third Berotha Magia jumped up towards the roof and flipped so it was upside down. Its feet made contact with the roof and it jumped down towards her. Worm had a drone block each of the attacks but saw that they weren't going to hold out for very long so she dove to the right just as the attacks broke through. Worm jumped back into the fight, slamming her right fist into the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia's face, snapping it around to the right. Worm dodged back as the monster swung its left claw up in retaliation and used a wasp drone to block a right to left slash from the right.

Seeing that the attack came from the third Berotha Magia, Worm gestured down with her right hand and the hornet drone forced the monster's arms down before Worm rammed her staff into its face, making it stagger backwards in pain. Then she lunged forwards and jumped over the monster so she was behind it. She hooked her staff around its neck with an arm on either side of it.

With a heave, Worm pulled the monster over her back and slammed it into the ground, cracking its arms. Suddenly, the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia's claw slammed into her left side, sending Worm flying off to the right. She flew through the air and skipped across the ground twice before she ejected the hornet drone from her backplate. She landed on it and jumped off backflipping. The Kamen Rider landed on the ground and was forced to duck as the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia swung a claw at her from behind. She jammed her staff upwards, striking the creature in the jaw, giving it some airtime. Worm dropped her staff and punched forwards twice, firing both of the wasp drones off of her arms at the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia. It swung its tail, knocking them out of the air and embedding the drones into the walls.

Only for it to see that Worm had vanished. The Kamen Rider appeared behind the monster with her right leg raised in a vertical split. The bee drone on her lower right leg fired, sending her boot crashing down on the monster, smashing its head downwards. The damage spread down, cracking the Pulmonoscorpius Magia's spine in at least five places. Suddenly, the third Berotha Magia coated its blades in bright green energy and crossed them, firing four spinning crescents, two from each blade, at Worm's back. Worm spun around and threw both her arms up in a guard, the hornet drones on her chest detached and moved to float in front of her. They blocked the first spinning crescent but the second shattered them! The third broke through Worm's guard and the fourth ground against her chest.

Worm screamed in pain as the attack hit the unprotected circuits. With a huge amount of mental strain, her wasp drones pulled themselves from the wall and shot back towards her. Both of them arced around, hitting the crescent from either side, shattering it. Worm fell to her knees, panting in pain before looking up. The second Pulmonoscorpius Magia had jumped into the air and was coming back down swinging its tail down towards Worm's head. She jumped to the right, narrowly avoiding the tail swing before swinging both of her arms upwards. The bee drone from her lower right leg and the right side of her back detached before firing several energy bolts at the monster as it landed back on the ground. Half of the energy bolts were blocked by the shockwave made when the creature's tail struck the ground, about ten made it through and struck the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia, making it stagger to the right as smoke came from the impact points. Suddenly, Worm ducked, narrowly avoiding a tail swipe from the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia that was aimed at her neck.

Worm spun around, sweeping the monster's legs from under it and while it was in the air, she punched it in the stomach. Her right lower arm's wasp drone shot forwards, slamming into the creature, just above it's mistress's fist, sending it flying. Worm removed the skittering hornet progrise keycard from her driver's slot and snapped it shut before scanning it across the zero one driver's scanner six times. [BIT RISE!] [BYTE RISE!] [KILO RISE!] [MEGA RISE!] [GIGA RISE!] [TERRA RISE!] Then she flipped the keycard open again and reinserted it into the slot. [SKITTERING TERRA IMPACT!] Worm lunged forwards as dark brown energy formed into a rhino beetle around her right fist. The second Pulmonoscorpius Magia landed in front of the first and charged its tail with dark purple light before driving it forwards.

The two attacks met and struggled against each other for five seconds. "PUSH THROUGH!" Worm shunted more power into her fist and cracks spread through the monster's tail before it shattered! The fist continued forwards and slammed into the monster's stomach, throwing it backwards. The second Pulmonoscorpius Magia slammed into the second, slamming it against the wall.

Worm tapped the skittering hornet progrise key's button. [SWARM!] She pulled it out of her driver's slot with her right hand and swung her left arm, knocking it shut. Worm scanned the keycard across her driver's scanner four times. [BIT RISE!] [BYTE RISE!] [KILO RISE!] [MEGA RISE!] The Kamen Rider flipped the keycard open once more and slammed it back into her driver's slot. [SKITTERING MEGA IMPACT!] Worm held up her right hand and a swarm of hornet formed above it before she hurled it at the second Pulmonoscorpius Magia. "HORNET BALL!"

The monster coated its tail in dark purple light and swung it at Worm, firing out a horizontal crescent of the energy. The two attacks slammed into each other and struggled against each other but Worm's was slowly being forced back. She fired off all three of her wasp drones, they shot forwards and slammed into the crescent, it cracked before shattering, allowing Worm's attack through. One after the other, all three drones cut through the monster before the sphere slammed it into and caused it to explode into a million pieces! [SKITTERING MEGA IMPACT!] Several of the hornets hit the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia and did a bit of damage to it.

Worm jumped backwards, narrowly avoiding a swing from the third Berotha Magia before she deployed the hornet drone from her backplate, blocking a swing from the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia's tail. Worm darted forwards and jumped, snapping her right boot upwards to kick the monster in its jaw, causing it to flip backwards. She landed on the ground and twisted away from a slash from the third Berotha Magia. The Kamen Rider darted inwards and slammed her elbow into its face, knocking it backwards. She pulled out her staff and started spinning it, hitting her opponent several times. Worm ended her combo on a hard downwards swing that hit the monster so hard it was bounced into the air. Worm held her weapon behind her back, going down from her right shoulder to her left hip.

The first Pulmonoscorpius Magia had just driven its tail forwards; it had been aiming at Worm's exposed back circuitry but hit the staff instead. Worm used her right shoulder as a fulcrum, swinging her staff upwards and forcing the stinger away. She spun around and the bee drones detached from her hips. They moved so one was on either side of the Magia before opening fire as Worm shot forwards. The monster ducked under two energy bolts then jumped over a third, while it was in the air, Worm hit it with an uppercut that sent it flying into the ceiling. The Kamen Rider dodged to the side, avoiding a downwards slash from the third Berotha Magia, she jumped backwards, avoiding a second slash before ducking under a third and punching upwards. The wasp drone on her right arm shot upwards as her fist slammed into the monster's jaw and sent it flying, propelling it higher.

Worm pulled the case staff's trigger into the middle of its handle, causing it to mecha shift back into its briefcase form. [CHARGE RISE!] Then she hit the trigger, the first Pulmonoscorpius Magia landed on the roof and jumped down towards the Kamen Rider. [CHARGE!] As the briefcase continued to gather energy, Worm pushed the trigger back into the right corner of the handle, making it mecha shift back into its staff form. [FULL CHARGE!] The monster hit the button on its extinction riser twice. [EXTINCTION SUPERNOVA!] Worm drew back her weapon and hit the trigger a second time. [BAG REAPING!] Dark brown light exploded off of her weapon and formed into a pair of stag beetle pincers with one on either side of it. Worm swung her staff upwards as the monster swung its charged tail down, the two met in an explosion of power that tore up the room. "STAG RAMPAGE!" The pincer moved up as Worm continued to struggle against the monster before slamming closed around it, tearing it in half. [BAG REAPING!] Both halves exploded as they landed on either side of Worm.

Worm spun around as the blade on her right arm's hornet drone ignited. She used it to block a downwards slash from the third Berotha Magia and punched it in the stomach after dropping the case staff. The monster staggered back with Worm kicking her staff into the air. She spun before kicking it, the staff flew through the air, spinning fast enough to blur into a vertical disk. It slammed into the third Berotha Magia's head, hitting it at least five times. The monster's head slammed into the ground as the weapon came around and returned to its owner's hand. Worm swung her left arm around and the bee drone on her lower right leg detached, it shot into the air and fired down at the monster, forcing it to roll to the right, narrowly avoiding being shot. It shot back up and swung its right blade up, firing a spinning crescent of bright green light that knocked the drone into a tailspin, forcing it to return to Worm.

Worm pushed down on the skittering hornet's progrise keycard's button. [SWARM!] Then she removed it from the zero one driver's slot before slamming it back in. [SKITTERING HIGH IMPACT!] Worm took the keycard out of her driver and flipped it shut before loading it into her staff's slot. [PROGRISE KEYCARD CONFIRMED! READY TO UTILIZE: Hornet's ability!] She dodged to the right, avoiding a downwards swing before pulling the trigger into the middle of the handle. [CHARGE RISE!] The staff converted back into its briefcase form and started gathering dark brown energy. Worm used it to block a downwards swing before pulling the trigger. [CHARGE!] She kicked the monster in the stomach and pushed the trigger back into the right corner of the handle as the third Berotha Magia stumbled backwards. [FULL CHARGE!] The weapon had barely finished mecha shifting back when Worm pulled the trigger. [SKITTERING BAG REAPING!] "SWARM ARC!" Worm roared as dark brown energy gathered around her right boot and she leapt into the sky.

Worm slammed her right boot into the monster's stomach and the bee drone on her right lower leg fired, propelling her into a backflip. The monster staggered back as the drone had blown a hole through its chest that bled sparks. Worm shot forwards and swung her staff from left to right with the dark brown light humming around its upper half.

The monster was ripped in half from the force behind the blow and both halves exploded! [SKITTERING HIGH IMPACT! / SKITTERING BAG REAPING!] Worm pulled the skittering hornet progrise keycard from the weapon's slot and flipped it open before gently sliding it back into her belt's slot. She spun her weapon several times after pulling the trigger into the handle's left corner, causing it to transform back into its briefcase form which she clipped onto the small of her back.

Battle ended!
