March 16th, Age 763
"9,998…9,999…10,000!!!"
Goka sat up and let out a sigh of exhaustion. She had finally finished doing 10,000 situps, and now she felt ready. Today was the day that Vegeta said that he would be coming back for their fight, and she couldn't lie and say she wasn't excited for it. In fact, she was extremely excited. Vegeta was the strongest opponent she had ever fought, and she still wanted to pay him back for kidnapping her and making her miss the fight with Frieza.
The saiyan woman then stood up and stretched before walking outside to wait for Vegeta. After a few moments, she could sense Vegeta flying towards her. The saiyan prince landed on the ground and cracked his knuckles, but Goka noticed that he was wearing a new set of armor. Curious, she asked him,
"Yo, where'd ya get the new outfit from?"
Vegeta looked at it and grunted in response, telling Goka,
"I asked the blue haired Earth woman to make me new armor since my last set got destroyed."
Goka was surprised by the fact that the saiyan prince had asked Bulma for help and at the fact that she hadn't sensed him even though she had been essentially living at Capsule corp for her entire training regime, but reasoned that she had been too busy training too. Vegeta then told her,
"Listen. I'm not in the mood for talking. How strong have you gotten?"
Goka was slightly caught off guard by this question, but then smirked. She had been waiting to show off her power to the saiyan prince for what felt like forever, and now she finally had the chance. Crouching, she then began powering up. Her ki aura surged and roared for a good few minutes before dying down as she let out a final shout. This final pulse caused a wind shockwave that caused Veget to cover his eyes.
After a few seconds, the saiyan prince looked back at Goka and was somewhat impressed. The female saiyan then told him,
"Alright, this is my full power without Kaioken. What do you think?"
Vegeta put a hand on his chin and smirked, responded by saying to Goka,
"Not bad. You're stronger than most of the Ginyu force. But still, you're not enough to beat me."
"You mean those weird dancing guys you mentioned? Huh. cool. But this isn't even the start to what I can do!"
"We'll see about that!"
Vegeta then charged at Goka, whose eyes widened at the sheer speed. She had to use a two-fold kaioken just to doge Vegeta's punch before delivering a kick, it being easily blocked by the saiyan prince. Vegeta then grabbed the kicking leg and threw Goka into the distance, her quickly recovering before yelling,
"Kaioken X3!!!"
The red aura around her became even more emblazoned before she charged at Vegeta and clashed fists with him. The two then began throwing punches at each other, their powers evenly matched. The two were incredibly happy with this battle, and as time passed, the two began to become lost in the art.
Vegeta was happy to have another battle with the last female saiyan left, and had to admit that besides her future son, she was the strongest opponent he had ever fought. The saiyan prince mentally said,
'To think a low class woman could grow this strong…'
Goka on the other hand was having the time of her life. She had fought many strong fighters before, but Vegeta was different. Vegeta was not only the same race as her, but something about the aggressiveness he showed in battle drew her to him. However, it was at that moment that Goka suddenly remembered something Vegeta had mentioned when they had first met: How saiyan men and women courted each other via combat.
Her face turning red, Goka flew back and put her hands on both of her cheeks. Was she developing…a crush on Vegeta? The man who had tried to destroy the world? Well, Tien and Piccolo had tried to kill them all before, mostly Piccolo, and they had become close friends. Vegeta was confused by Goka's strange reaction and asked her,
"What the hell are you doing?"
Goka looked at him and stammered out,
"Le-Let's just finish this already!"
She then leapt back and yelled,
"Kaioken X10!!!"
The red aura around her growing even more intense, Goka cupped her hands and began charging a kamehameha. In response, Vegeta began charging a galick gun. As he did so, he yelled to Goka,
"Kakarotta!!! If you can't survive this blast, then leaving you alive was a mistake!"
Vegeta then powered up to False Super Saiyan, causing Goka's eyes to widen in shock. However, she quickly realized what Vegeta was planning to do. He was likely attempting to force the super saiyan transformation out of her, or at least the false version. Steeling herself, she poured even more power into her kamehameha before firing the blast at the saiyan prince, which he responded to by firing his Galick gun.
The two beams clashed just like they had when they first fought, but unlike back then, Vegeta was clearly holding back. Gritting her teeth, Goka kept pouring more and more power into her blast, but it was seemingly meaningless. As the galick gun began pushing her back, Goka began to think of all her frustrations.
How weak she was compared to what felt like everyone else, how Future Gohan's era had been destroyed because she hadn't been there, and her confused conflicting feelings towards Vegeta. With a final massive surge and a tremendous yell, Goka's aura turned gold, her hair orange and her eyes a pure white.
Now a False Super Saiyan just like Vegeta, Goka was able to begin pushing back the galick gun, prompting the saiyan prince to use half of his full power and overpower the female saiyan's attack, causing a huge explosion that engulfed the area. Once the smoke cleared, Goka was lying in a massive crater, her skirt torn and her outer shirt blasted off. Fortunately her yoga shorts were still mostly intact.
Vegeta then floated down and walked up to the saiyan woman, telling her,
"Good. You managed to achieve the same form as I. Now, I'm going to take you back to the blue haired woman's place and ask her to make a healing chamber. We can't afford to wait for months for you to heal."
However, to the saiyan prince's shock, Goka then shakily moved her right hand into her yoga pants and pulled out a small green bean, lifting it up to her mouth and swallowing it whole. The next moment, Goka was back on her feet with all of her injuries completely healed. Not only that, but her power had risen by a ridiculous amount. Vegeta was shocked while Goka began stretching before looking at her hands and thinking to herself,
'Whoa…this power…it's incredible. It feels like I can barely contain it. I can't believe it…'
Goka then looked at Vegeta and told him,
"Thanks for that! I feel way stronger now!"
She then asked him,
"But…how'd I get so strong anyways?"
Vegeta remembered that Goka didn't know about zenkais, and so explained the concept to her. Goka was amazed by the fact that she could grow so much stronger after near death experiences and then punched her fists together, saying to herself,
"Whoa…that's awesome! I think I felt something like that before, but I never quite realized what it was."
She then got into a power up stance and told Vegeta,
"I think I felt your 'pseudo-super saiyan' thing just now. Now that I'm so strong, I think I can do it. Let's see."
Goka then began yelling, her aura flaring around her as she powered up. It was only then that Vegeta truly felt the scale of how strong Goka had gotten. Her power was now second only to Future Gohan, and he could still feel it rising. Goka's aura and body then turned golden once again as her hair turned orange and her eyes became blank.
However, even as she entered the false super saiyan form, Goka could feel something more under the surface. It was almost like her newfound power had unlocked something deep within her new form. Reaching deep, she began to feel a slight tingling in her back before her power exploded. At that moment, her hair spiked up, turned golden, and her eyes turned a teal color. Vegeta was absolutely stunned.
Standing in front of him was Son Goka, now the first super saiyan native to their era. He was halfway angry that it wasn't him, and halfway happy that this confirmed that super saiyan wasn't exclusive to one person. He looked into Goka's teal eyes and saw the aggressive look in them, and couldn't help but stare for a bit longer than he intended to. The sheer fury in those eyes…was it turning him on?
However, as Goka looked at her hands in shock, she then turned her attention to Vegeta and giddily told him,
"Vegeta, I did it! I'm a super saiyan!"
The prince sighed. Of course. Even if she had become a super saiyan, this was still Kakarotta. Said saiyan woman then began shadow boxing, punching and kicking at speeds faster than Vegeta could see. She then reverted to base form and sighed in slight exhaustion, rolling her arms around and telling the saiyan prince,
"Man, I had no idea how much of a strain this form had on the older Gohan-Chan."
As Vegeta looked on in shock, he then shook his head and asked Goka how she had recovered from his galick gun instantly. Goka told him about the senzu, and Vegeta was intrigued. He asked her,
"Do you have any more of those beans?"
"Um…yeah. Only one, though."
"I see…I want you to blast me through the chest."
"What?! Why?!"
"If you were able to get this strong from a near-death power up, then imagine how strong I will get."
Goka didn't like the idea of nearly killing Vegeta, but decided that if this was what he wanted, then she would do it. Goka held her hand out and charged a ki blast before firing it through Vegeta's chest. The saiyan prince coughed up blood as he collapsed on the ground, his power quickly fading. Seeing this, Goka quickly ran up to him and knelt down beside him, pulling a senzu out of her yoga pants and putting it in Vegeta's mouth.
Vegeta noticed a strange smell coming from the senzu and tried not to think about where it came from. He swallowed it and instantly returned to full health. Quickly getting to his feet, the saiyan prince looked at his hands before smirking at his newfound power. He thanked Goka and told her,
"Now my dear Kakarotta, you are about to witness the power of a super-elite super saiyan!!!"
Vegeta then began powering up just like Goka had, going into false super saiyan and attempting to go further beyond. Wanting to help her newfound rival, Goka told him,
"You just have to dig deep! Try focusing all of your power right around the middle of your back!"
Vegeta was confused by this notion. There was no way an idea like that would work. However, once he did so, he felt his power double as his energy flared. Looking at his hands, Vegeta saw that he was no longer glowing orange, and his power now felt much more stable than it had been before.
He had done it. He was a true super saiyan at last. He laughed in triumph and proclaimed,
"Finally, I have truly ascended to the realm of legend I was destined for from birth! I, VEGETA, AM A SUPER SAIYAN!!!"
He then got into a combat stance and told Goka,
"Alright then, Kakarotta! As thanks for helping me achieve this form, I will grant you the opportunity of being the first one in history to face the might of Super Vegeta!!!"
Goka smiled at the challenge and began powering up, quickly reassuming the super saiyan form. Luckily, as she had only just powered down, Goka's body remembered the feeling of super saiyan, making it easy for her to transform. The saiyan woman then assumed a combat stance and told Vegeta,
"Ok, let's do this!"
The two saiyans then charged at each other and punched each other in the face, smirking as they did so. This began the first of many battles the two would have over the next year…

Anne 13: thanks for the compliment. You've seen my ideas on the Piccolo vs Vegeta rivalry in the other replies I've given. Thanks for the compliments on the Goka and Vegeta moments, and I'm sure you can come to a conclusion on them yourself. I do have plans for both Chi-Chi and Bulma, but those aren't going to come into effect for a while. I hope you can wait until then.
