Cheyenne Hale glanced over at her best friend and coworker, Lucy. She had met and become fast friends with the blonde haired waitress after she had gotten a job working alongside her at a quaint little diner an hour or so outside Tacoma, Washington just a couple of weeks after she had fled her hometown of Charming.
The reason that she had left was due to the fact that she had discovered a piece of life altering news.
She wasn't really a true Hale. She was actually adopted.
From what little information that the brunette had been able to get out of the woman that she had believed was her mother her entire life, Cheyenne had been taken from the local hospital when she was merely a few days old by the same woman who had told her the truth about herself while on her death bed.
Jacob Hale Sr. had adamantly denied that Cheyenne was adopted when the brunette had later confronted him about what his wife had told her. He had only come clean to her after he realized that she wasn't going to stop until she got the truth from him.
He had refused to tell Cheyenne who her birth parents were though. He insisted that she was "better off not knowing who they are", as he'd put it to her.
Snapping herself from her thoughts, Cheyenne confirmed to her friend that she was going back to Charming no matter what.
"It's been 8 years since I left, Luce. I'm no closer to finding out who my real parents are now than I was back when I first left Charming. On top of that, I really miss David. He may not have been my actual brother but at least he still treated me like his sister even after he found out that his mother had stolen me from the hospital."
Lucy nodded her head in response to all that her friend had just told her.
"Well, if you insist on going back there then I fully support your decision. In fact, I'm going to join you. You remember my brother Kip that I told you about? Well, he's actually prospecting for the Sons charter that's in Charming. I haven't seen him in a while so I was thinking about heading down to see him."
"So you figured that since I'm going back to Charming, you would tag along with me so you could see your brother?"
Lucy chuckled at her friend's question.
Next, Cheyenne and Lucy arrive in Charming. How do the members of SAMCRO react to Cheyenne's return especially considering that she was pretty close to some of them and had left without so much as a word to any of them?
"It's more than okay, Luce. We can head out tomorrow morning first thing."

I know that this chapter is a bit short but I wanted to give a little background to who Cheyenne is without spoiling too much too soon.
