Chapter 7: Usagi's Visit
The two stood there in the kiss for what seemed like an eternity, when they parted both of their faces were tinted red. "I'm sorry, Usagi." Trunks whispered.
"Don't apologize, Trunks. I enjoyed it." Usagi told him with a smile. "I felt something in that kiss, something that I didn't feel with Mamo."
Trunks smirked a bit, "As did I, Angel." He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close to him. "I promise, Usagi, to always keep you safe."
Usagi leaned into Trunks' grip, "Trunks, I may not look it but I can keep myself safe." She mentioned, "Makoto taught me some self-defense."
His grip tightened a bit more, "Usagi, there are…people who may try to hurt you because you are with me."
"Trunks, I'm sure that I'll be okay. I trust you." She smiled up at him. She looked at her watch, "Oh my God! It's getting late! I need to get home." Usagi started to freak out. "My parents are going to be so mad."
"Usagi…Usagi….Angel!" Trunks made her look into his eyes, "I will take you home, okay? You were out with me so I'm sure your parents will understand." They walked down the path and back to Trunks' car.
When they arrived outside her house, they both got out. Usagi and Trunks walked into the house, both Kenji and Ikuto stood there with their arms crossed. "Usagi, do have any idea how late it is?" Ikuto scolded.
"Please, it was my fault." Trunks told them and gave a bow, "I am sorry for keeping her out this late."
Ikuto smiled softly, "It's alright Trunks, we were just worried."
Trunks stood back up, "I also wanted to ask the two do you something. Would it be alright if Usagi came and stayed with me for a couple weeks? That way she can get to know my family and friends as well."
Ikuto and Kenji turned away to talk, then turned back to face Trunks. "She can, on a few conditions." Kenji told Trunks sternly.
"Alright, what conditions?" Trunks asked.
"She gets to take one friend with her, and she is to call us everyday." Ikuto said.
"Done and done." Trunks agreed, "Thank you, I will have my Mom contact you about the details." Ikuto and Kenji nodded and left to go to other rooms.
Trunks turned to Usagi, "I will call you tomorrow okay? Goodnight Angel." Trunks gave her a short kiss again and he left.
Usagi ran upstairs with a big smile, when she got to her room Luna was sitting on her bed waiting. "Usagi, how did everything go? Did you find out anything about Trunks being a Sayian?"
"My night was amazing, and no Luna I didn't find out anything." Usagi told her. "I need to call the girls, they will want to know how it went."
Usagi took out her communicator and waited for the others to get on, "Usagi, is everything okay?" Rei asked as she and the others appeared on screen.
"Everything is just fine, Rei. I thought you'd like to know how my date went." Usagi confessed.
"Bun head, you know that this is supposed to be used for emergencies…anyway how was it?" Rei questioned.
Minako chimed in, "Was he romantic?"
The girls asked so many questions at the same time it was hard for Usagi to keep up. "Slow down, first he took me to the nicest restaurant and we had a great time there. And while there he gave me this." Usagi held up her hand to show her ring.
"That's beautiful, Usagi." Ami stated.
Usagi smiled wide, "He is so sweet, and he invited me to go and visit his home for a couple weeks." She told them, "My parents told me that I could go, but I have to take one of you with me."
"That sounds like it would be so fun," Minako said. "Who will you bring?"
Taking a few minutes to think about it, Usagi smiled, "I think I want Rei to go with me. I know Goten will be there, and I think he has a crush on you."
Rei's face got tinted pink, "Okay I will go with you."
Smiling Usagi told her thank you and she told the girls that she would talk to them in the morning. She hung up and got ready for bed, as she laid down she stared at the ring on her finger. Her phone pinged with a message, 'Goodnight Angel, I hope you enjoyed tonight, I will call you tomorrow to get the details of you coming to visit. I love you.'
Usagi looked at the screen and smiled, 'Goodnight Trunks, I did enjoy tonight. I love you too.' She hit send and curled up under the blankets. The next morning Usagi got up and was getting ready for school as Luna hopped onto her bed, "Usagi, please during this trip see if you can figure out if Trunks is a Saiyan or not. It is important."
"I will, and Rei can help me as well…Oh no! I'm going to be late!" Usagi ran out of the house and towards the school. Usagi made it to her seat right before the bell rang, as she went through her day she thought of her upcoming trip. 'What all will I need to bring?'
After school, Usagi and her friends were at the Crown Cafe, when Mamoru joined them. "Hello everyone." He said as he took a seat, he noticed Usagi's ring. "That from Trunks?"
"Yeah, it is. We had a date last night and he gave it to me." Usagi said with a smile.
Mamoru still a little sad about their relationship ending, smiled as he could see Usagi was happy. "He makes you happy right?"
She nodded, "Yes, he does. Rei and I are going to his place for a couple of weeks so that I can get to know his family and friends."
"If anything happens, call me and I'll be there." Mamoru told her.
"I will, Mamoru but I don't think anything will happen." Usagi smiled, her phone pinged, 'Hello Angel, I have the arrangements made for your visit, I just need to know who are you bringing with you?'
'Hi, Trunks. I'm very excited for this trip. I will be coming with Rei. A couple of questions though, when will we be leaving and how will we get there?' Usagi hit send as she turned her attention back to the group. "Rei, I think Goten will be there as well. I think he might have a crush on you."
Rei's cheeks turned slightly red. "Shut up…" The group left the cafe and went to the Shrine to study, as Mamoru was helping Usagi with her math, her phone rang. She picked it up and saw it was Trunks, she answered and put it on speaker.
"Hi, Trunks! You are on speaker with everyone, so what's up?" Usagi asked him.
A slight chuckle came from Trunks, "Hello everyone, Angel I will be picking you and Rei up tomorrow at the Shrine if that's okay?"
"That's just fine, I hope you have enough room for all of our stuff." Rei joked.
"Don't worry, Rei. I have special capsules to give to you and Usagi it can hold anything you bring." Trunks told them, "I will be over around 4."
"We will be ready, when you get here." Rei told him.
"Angel, I love you and I will see you tomorrow."
—-With Trunks—-
He hung up the phone and looked around his room. Clothes were scattered all over the floor, his desk was a mess with papers with different designs for new capsules, his sword was unsheathed on his bed, which also was a mess. "I should probably clean my room…" Trunks muttered to himself.
He started cleaning his room, when his father walked in. Vegeta leaned against the wall, "Son have you told Usagi that you're a Saiyan?"
Trunks turned to his father, "No, not exactly…but I will!"
Vegeta shook his head, "Trunks, believe me just tell her as I think she'll understand." Vegeta walked over to Trunks. "I have something for you."
Vegeta pulled out a book, and flipped to a certain page. "Look at this picture." Trunks grabbed the book from Vegeta's hand and looked at the picture.
Trunks' eyes widen, in the picture was a girl that looked exactly like Usagi only she had a crescent moon on her forehead. "Dad, she looks just like Usagi. Same hair, same eyes, same beautiful smile…who is she?"
"That Trunks, is Princess Serenity of the Moon. The Moon Kingdom was a powerful one, until someone that wasn't Frieza destroyed it. Her mother sent Serenity and her court to Earth to live a normal life." Vegeta explained. "I think there's more to Usagi than meets the eye. And if she is in fact the Moon Princess then that means any child you have with her will have so much potential."
Vegeta started to leave the room, "Once you have your room cleaned, meet me in the Gravity Room." Trunks sat down on his bed, his eyes still glued to the picture. 'Is this really her?...If so, Dad is right she might understand why I hid the fact that I am a Saiyan.'
Trunks continued to clean his room, he marked the page in the book and placed it on his desk. He changed into some loose clothes and went to the Gravity Room. He trained with his father for a few hours, then went back to his room and showered. Then he grabbed the book again to look at the picture. Trunks head was swirling, he flipped more through the book and came across another picture, this one showing the Sailor Senshi, and directly in the middle was Usagi, or at least Trunks thought it looked just like her. 'Sailor Moon…Princess Serenity…Usagi…is she the same person?' Trunks shut the book and decided it could wait til tomorrow.
In the morning, Trunks once again trained with his father, then he got ready to go pick up Usagi and Rei. Grabbing the capsules he made for them, and a car he started the drive. Made it to the Shrine around 3:30, he got out of the car and saw Mamoru waiting on him.
"Hello, Mamoru." Trunks said.
Mamoru looked at Trunks, "Look, I still care about Usagi. I don't want anything to happen to her, while she's away."
Trunks smiled, "I won't let anything happen to her, I swear and if it does I'll deal with it and I'll protect her with my life." He told Mamoru, "I'm glad Usagi has a friend like you."
Mamoru and Trunks walked up the stairs to the Shrine, talking about Usagi. Once at the top Usagi and Rei were waiting with bags beside them. "Hello Angel." Trunks said with a smile, as he kissed her. "Hello Rei, I have these for you." Trunks pulled out the two capsules. One was pink with small bunnies and moons on it, and one was red with ravens on it. "The pink one is Usagi's and yours is Red." The girls grabbed them and hit the button.
They put their stuff into the capsules and hit the button again. "There it's all safe and saves room." Trunks said with a smile, "Pretty neat huh? Mom made one that can hold a car." They all walked down to the car, Rei and Usagi gave everyone hugs and got into the car. Trunks drove them all to his home, as they approached Rei and Usagi were in awe.
Capsule Corps, was bigger than what both Rei and Usagi imagined. Trunks parked the car, and they all got out, "Ladies, welcome to my home. Please feel free to explore once I show you where you will be staying." Trunks led them into the building.
Passing many rooms, Rei and Usagi were trying to take it all in, Trunks stopped outside of a room. "Rei, you will be sleeping here." The door opened and the trio stepped inside. Rei and Usagi gasped, the room was huge and beautiful. It was draped in all different shades of red, a big comfy bed in the center, and an adjoining bathroom. "There is an intercom system by the door if you need anything press that button and someone will help you." Trunks told her, "Please take your time to get settled, Angel come with me."
Trunks and Usagi left Rei to get settled in, grabbing Usagi's hand Trunks led her to his bedroom. "And this is where you will sleep." He told her.
Usagi looked around, the bed looked comfy, an adjoining bathroom, a desk, and a sword in the corner of the room. "I thought my room would be similar to Rei's." Usagi said a little sad.
Trunks rubbed the back of his head, "Sorry, I should have made my room a bit nicer."
Usagi's eyes widened, "Your room?"
He nodded, "Yes, my room. I figured we could stay in the same room…if you don't want to we can change the arrangements…" His cheeks were tinted pink.
"It's fine, Trunks…Just caught me off guard is all. I would like to stay in here with you…after all, we will be in the same room sooner or later." Usagi said her cheeks tinted pink as well.
Trunks cleared his throat, "Right, well get settled. Mom is having a big party to welcome you and Rei here." Trunks left her alone. Usagi got the capsule out and opened it, she unpacked he clothes and her toiletries. Once she got everything unpacked she exited the room she saw Goten waiting against the opposite wall.
"Hey Usagi. Did you bring Rei with you?" He asked his cheeks red.
"I did, Goten, you like her don't you?" Usagi asked. Goten just nodded. "Don't worry, Goten I think she likes you too." Goten smiled.
Rei came out of her room, "Hi Goten."
Goten just starred at her for a few minutes smiled, and got really red and ran down the hall saying, he was going to go train. "He's weird." Rei said, "But, kinda cute. Anyway, let's go explore this place." The two friends nodded and started to explore the grounds.
