Sorry for not posting for a while, Work and I sadly my dog passed away in March, he was 13 years old, he lived a good life and it hard getting back to a routine with him.
But on a good note Chaos Theory season 3 is here and I think now would be the time to post the last two chapter of JWCC Season 1 and hopefully season 2 will follow soon enough.

A Fighter to the End
Chapter 6 - Last Day of Camp
Aithne sprinted back to the where the others are while a recorded voice plays out.
"Attention, all park-goers must report to the south ferry dock, for immediate evacuation. Last ferry departs in two hours."
"That's it?" Brooklynn says. "No explanations? that's all we get?"
"We have to move," Darius said. "The only way we're gonna make it is if we run."
"Um," Sammy stated, looking at Yasmina limping towards them. "Are we sure that's the best way to get there?"
"I'm fine," Yasmina replied bitterly. "I've competed with a torn ACL," she point her thumb behind her. "You should be way more worried about Ben and Bumpy."
Ben and Bumpy are the last to round up.
"What we should all be worried about is catching a boat out of here, and naturally, we have a problem," Ben mentioned, pulling out a rolled-up paper from his bumbag.
"What kind of problem," Aithne asked, resting the axe on her shoulder, the others jump back at the realisation of the weapon.
"Where'd you get that axe?!" Daruis questioned with widen eye.
"I'd lost the gun while I was taking a dip," she replied jerking her head to the lagoon. "Found it in a supple shed, never mind that now, Ben what problem?"
"Right!" He unrolls the paper, it's a map of the island, he places it on the bench so all of them can see. "We're here," Ben points on the map. "The docks are on the southern tip of the island, even if we ran at peak Yaz speed, there's no way we'd make the last boat out."
"You don't know that?" Sammy states.
"Yes, I do," Ben replied. "I memorised the evacuation plan on the ferry ride over."
Everyone groans out of frustration.
"Okay, so we need another way," Darius says trying to keep optimistic. "Can we use those somehow?" Pointing at the Kayaks. "Or send someone to tell the ferry people to wait? Or-"
"Or make a few jetpacks real quick?" Brooklynn cut in. "Oh! We should befriend a unicorn! Face it, it's hopeless."
'We will be arriving at Main Street, your destination for fine dining, and shopping at Jurassic World.'
"Is that-?" Brooklynn stated.
They see the monorail come in to view.
'Followed by stops at the Jurassic World Lagoon and south Ferry Dock.'
"Monorail! What! What!" Kenji cheered.
"Mm nicely played universe," Brooklynn commented.
"If that is not an answer then I don't know what is?" Aithne says. "Let's move!"
The make their way out of the stands. Aithne and Darius stay behind for Ben and Yaz to catch up.
"We gotta move!" Daruis says.
When they got close, Aithne and Darius carried on ahead, they see Sammy, Brooklynn and Kenji sat down backs pressed against the wall, looking scared. Brooklynn beckons them to stop, they hutch down, Brooklynn shushes them before they could speak, Darius slowly walks to the end, Aithne not far behind him, he pulls back quickly into her when she hears a growl, he looks up at her and puts his hands to the sides of his forehead, and points his index fingers out like horns.
She looks over, and quickly draw back.
"Oh, so that's Toro," she thought to herself.
She and Darius carefully peck from the corner again, Aithne could see the light from the monorail was getting brighter on the tops of the trees, it was getting closer to the platform, they need to be quick, but getting Toro is going to be a bitch, she sees Toro had it's attention on a blue barrel, it's jaw clamping on it he swings it around, it's back facing at them, it's now or never.
"Move," Darius whispered to the others.
Darius and Aithne both run across making it to the side stairs while Toro still had its back turned, but when they turned, the others stayed behind too scared to move, while Darius gesture the others over, Aithne keeps an eye on Toro, thinking of a side plan to distract the Dinosaur. Kenji, Sammy, and Brooklynn try to go other but when Toro snarls they panic and hurried back to Yasmina and Ben who barely moved.
Toro must have heard them when it drops the barrel and walks towards the stand, Darius and Aithne quietly hid behind the stairs as the Tora gets closer, Darius thought up a quick idea and throws a stone, it hit another barrel, Toro stops walking to the stand and towards the noise, the two moved to the over side of the stairs so they wouldn't get spotted, Darius tripped Aithne caught him before he hit the floor, she kept an arm around him as the hear Toro stomping further away, they look back at the other gestured again for them to get to the stairs over now.
Aithne quickly looks up at the rail tracks, their one way ticket out of here was closing in, they had to pick up the case, when she looked back, Kenji, Brooklynn, Sammy Ben and Bumpy made it to the steps, Yasmina limping behind, to remain unseen they crawl up the stairs on their hands and knees Aithne nudged Darius to follow after the Track Star as she kept an eye on Toro. She had a feeling that the Dino is starting to piece together what is happening as it approaches near the stairs again, Aithne quickly ducked back, crouch down she hurries to stop Yasmina and Darius stopping them from going any further, she presses them to the wall, shielding herself over them, her right hand on Darius's shoulder and her other arm around Yasmina, Darius and Yasmina both place a hand on hers, either as a thank you or a prayer that they all be quiet enough to slip by Toro's radar , they freeze when they hear Toro's heavy breathing, when he moves away, Aithne checks over, turning back to them with a nod they are in the clear and they carry on crawling up.
Bumpy was quickest out of all of them, however she knocks a cup on one of the steps, its going to fall down and make noise drawing Toro back over, but Brooklynn managed to stop it from they all paused before continuing onwards. Kenji and Brooklynn made it to the top first, Aithne heard Toro approaching to the steps, she stops and looks over her shoulder, it is right at the bottom of the stairs, it head facing away from them, still not noticed them, she felt her blood drained from her cheeks when the speaker rang out.
'Welcome to the Jurassic World Lagoon, next stop, Ferry Landing.' As Toro turns its head to the source and right at them.
"Run!" Darius exclaimed, Toro roaring at them.
They bolt as fast as they could, Aithne was right behind Darius, by the time her foot reached to top step, the ground shakes nearly sending Aithne falling backwards, hearing Ben's screams she looks back. Both Ben and Yasmina where feet away from Toro's snapping jaws, but thanks to the uneven surface, Toro slips and falls forward with a heavy thud, however that tremor made Yasmina and Ben fall too, Toro still in pursuit continues snapping at them, particularly at Yasmina for she is the closest to the Dinosaur, Ben looked back, and he was frozen in fear as Yasmina tries to back away from Toro. Without thinking twice, Aithne grabs the axe from her belt and charges towards the Dino, Darius following after her.
"Darius get Ben!" Aithne tells him, running pass the boy.
Just as Toro was going to bite down on Yasmina, with a battle cry like yell, Aithne swings the axe, so the blade was on its flat side hitting right on the fresh scar of its face with all her strength, it was strong enough to make Toro's head move to the side, it roars in pain, Aithne grabs Yaz by her midriff with her free arm and pulls her away before Toro's lands on them as it falls forward. Getting Yasmina on her feet and her arm on her shoulder they run to the top as Toro roars at them, so close they could feel it's hot smelly breathe on their skin, if it wasn't anger before Aithne sure pissed it off now.
Seeing Darius, Ben and Bumpy waiting for them gesturing them to hurry, seeing Kenji trying to hold the door's on the monorail from closing, the five of them dashed over just as Toro brought its ugly head just where the five of them where, not even daring to look back when Aithne heard the sound of stone crumbling and an heavy thud as they dived into the monorail, Ben crashing into Kenji, while the other fell to the floor, the doors finally closes, and the monorail casts off, hearing Toro's roars fade away. Aithne landed on her uninjured side making sure that she does, the axe dropped from her hand, taking shaken breathes staying at the ceiling, Bumpy squeaked near her head sounding concerned for the lass.
"No way," Kenji breaks the silence. "Something bad always happens when we think we're safe, watch the doors are gonna open."
Nothing happens.
"Oh okay then," Kenji says. "The train's gonna stop because that's how it works."
"I'm pretty sure we're safe now," Brooklynn says.
"Well we were until you said that," Kenji stated.
The ride is smooth. Aithne is still laying on the floor, her racing heart had settled, Bumpy licked her face, making her sit up, she takes note the sun has set and the night sky casts it shadow and the full moon shows itself, Aithne removes her bag as she takes a sit resting her back on the glass and using the second seat to prop up her left sore leg, seeing fresh blood forming on the bandaged, she thought she should check on her side, lifting up her crop top more, already knowing what the outcome would look like, and she was right, it was dark red and purple, definitely a bruised rib or two, she get another instant ice pack from her bag, and grabs a water bottle, no paracetamols though and seeing how she had only eat breakfast would be wise to not take any meds without eating first even if she didn't had any and with the adrenaline wearing off she is feeling the pain returning with vengeance. She grunts quietly as she places the pack on her side, it will have to do.
"It's over," Darius sighs. "Guys, we did it, we're going home."
That was music to her ears, home, where she belongs with her family.
"Whoo-hoo!" Sammy exclaimed jumping up, making everyone else gasp.
"Jesus," Aithne mumbled, nearly dropping the ice pack.
"Yeah Whoo!" Darius joins in, jumping on to one of the seats.
Then everyone joins in expect for Aithne who smiles instead, not feeling like jumping up and down.
"This calls for a celebration," Brooklynn says taking a seat.
"I might be able to help with that," Ben says opening his bumbag. "Stashed a few treats for the road."
With bars in his hands, they each grab one, and as they take a bite, Aithne was not sure if she liked it or if she would rather eat stones, but she was hungry and it was better than nothing, unlike the others who are retching and spitting theirs out.
"Ben someone stole your candy bars and put dirt in 'em," Sammy complained.
"They're Carob bars," Ben responded. "They pair perfectly with-"
"Carob juice," Darius cut him off, holding a juice box. "Awesome."
"Would it make you feel better that I've got water," Aithne says holding six small water bottles, and begins to toss to each of them except Ben.
"Oh thank goodness," Sammy exclaimed, catching her bottle.
"Life saver," Brooklynn added catching her too.
Darius nearly dropped his when he caught it, Yasmina caught hers with one hand like pro while Kenji got hit in the face, making everyone giggle, was that on purpose maybe or maybe not.
"Carob is nature's chocolate," Ben spoke continuing the conversion. "Just as delicious, with none of the sugar or caffeine."
"What's wrong with sugar and caffeine?" Brooklynn responded. "First thing I'm gonna do when I get home is hug my espresso machine, I may never let go."
"You know," Kenji adds. "I've often described myself as tall, hot drink."
They all scoff.
"You could never be coffee."
"I could be coffee," Kenji scoffs.
"I cannot wait to be home," Yasmina joins in. "Once my ankle's better, it's back to training, and I guess finding a new corporate sponsor, since mine was Jurassic World. But you know…"
"It's gonna be weird for things to be normal again," Darius added. "Like are video games gonna seem boring now? How about you?" he looks at Kenji. "What's the thing you'll do when you get home?"
"Depends on which wing of our mansion you're talkin' about." Kenji replied. "East wings is usually off limits, but dad and Candy are away on business, so I guess I'll go downstairs to our bowling alley. Staff always lets me win. Life of a VIP."
"So, what have you missed Ben?" Sammy asked.
"Oh let me guess," Kenji interrupts. "You can't wait to get home to your closet of dork pouches."
Sammy and Brooklynn chuckle.
"Ha, ha, very funny," Ben replied with a deadpan expression.
"Seriously Ben you've had juice boxes for days!" Darius added. "How much stuff can you fit in that thing?"
"One, lots," Ben responded. "And two, obviously the first thing I'm gonna do when I get back is restock it."
Everyone laughs, Aithne smiles, she removes the ice pack an dump back in her bag.
"What about you Aithne?" Sammy asked, making Aithne jump a little in surprise. "What will do when get back home."
Before she could respond.
"Check it out," Kenji says, grabs a flash light, he turns it on and imitating lightsabre sound effects, and shines it them, making them shielding their eyes. "I found the first thing at Jurassic world that works!" He flips it in the air misses catching it, picks it up, and turns it on again. "Still works."
"I still can't believe how much went wrong," Brooklynn states. "Like that time we almost got eaten?"
"Which time?" Yasmina added. "How was there more one time?"
Darius stands up holding his bottle of water up.
"Let's all rise our waters and carob juice," they did so. "A toast, to not getting eaten!"
"To not getting eaten!" They repeated, then take a sip.
"To no more running away!" Brooklynn added.
"To no more running away!"
Aithne gives her next sip to Bumpy cupping her hand putting water in it, Bumpy drinks up her tail wagging lazily.
"To getting off the island," Aithne added.
"To getting off the island!"
She didn't drink while the rest did.
"To the return of a low-level gnawing dread," Ben says standing up. "Rather than an all-encompassing impending doom!"
"Why not!" Darius replied.
"Well said Ben," said Aithne, as she petted Bumpy before the baby dino walks over to Ben.
"To what Ben said," Brooklynn added,
"Bad doom versus normal doom!" Kenji says.
"I got one," Sammy says, suddenly an loud noise from afar was heard, it made the monorail shake, they all hold to a seat or pole to steady themselves. "What was that?"
"It sounded like an explosion," Yasmina suggested.
"Ugh! Not again!" Brooklynn complained.
"I don't see anything," Kenji added.
"I don't think it was near us," Darius says.
"As long as we don't see fire or smoke, we're okay," Aithne reassured, gripping the axe by the handle.
They stayed quiet for a moment, they where all thinking it, just because they are heading to the docks quick on the monorail, they are still on a dangerous island, and they cannot let their guard down yet.
"I know camp wasn't what we thought it was gonna be," Sammy broke the silence. "But after everything we went through, at least we're leavin' this place with six new friends! She stand up her bottle raised. To the seven of us being best friends for life!... Clink!"
Nobody else raised their drinks, nobody repeated the toast, Aithne puts her hardly drank bottle back into her bag.
"Guys? Hello? Wait, do you guys not see us as friends?"
"I mean.." Brooklynn stated. "Doesn't it usually take more than a few days to become friends with someone?"
"We were thrown together at random," Yasmina told Sammy. "We have nothing in common."
"That's not true! We've been through more together than most friends have in a lifetime."
"And now that it's over," Ben replied. "What are the odds that we'll ever see each other again?"
Aithne never really put any thought into having as Sammy puts it, 'Best Friends for Life', Aithne may not have wanted to be here, but after spending time with maybe half of the group when she was not in the GYM, sure Darius and Ben may have been like her little brothers and became a bit protective towards them, Sammy may have done must of the talking but she was alright until the whole being a spy thing came out, she is still a bit miffed about it, Brooklynn grinded her gears since she first recorded on day one, Kenji…. Oh boy, how he was about to still be talking was beyond her. However the only person she got along with was Yasmina, they had some things in common, beside from being athletes and appreciates the quiet moments, but maybe.
"Coming up on the right, you'll see our world-renowned 18-hole, dinosaur-themed golf course. Its one of the many wonders that makes this park so very Jurassic."
Aithne's train of thoughts was broken when the voice spoke.
"What does that even mean?" Brooklynn chuckles.
"I thought I knew," Darius replied. "My whole life, I had this idea of Jurassic World, my dad used to say this place was, 'All-osaurus and a bag of chips'. He was so corny."
Aithne's heart dropped, knowing at once was the youngest boy meant.
"Um, was?" Ben says. "So your dad is.."
Aithne walks to Darius a kneels in front of him.
"I know how it feels Darius," Aithne says. "You feel this hole in your chest, it leaves an empty coldness that is beyond words, and no matter what you do it does not go away, I felt that too when my Mam passed, I still do at times… but I discover this, it's a slow healing, and in that time you think back on the memories of your Da, you keep hanging on and you look on how far you have come, he would be proud of you."
Darius smiles, she could see tears nearly starting to form in his eyes, he hugs her wrapping his arms around her shoulder, Aithne wraps her arms around him, placing her right hand on the back of his head.
"I'm sorry Darius, Aithne," Sammy stated. "Ugh, sorry, nice one Sammy, ya ding-dong!"
"It's okay Sam," Aithne replied as Darius breaks the hug.
"Hey Darius at least your dad never saw what a dumpster fire this place turned out to be, huh?" Kenji added.
Yasmina hits him.
"Ow! What? I meant it's cool that Darius, and his dad were so close, I can count on one hand the number of times me and my dad have done… anything."
"Kenji that's just real sad," Sammy added.
"Yeah… did I mention I have a bowling alley?"
Aithne face palmed, wincing when she hit her scabbed eyebrow.
"Aithne?" Brooklynn states. "Why did you come to Jurassic World?"
Aithne looked up and everyone is looking at her waiting for her to answer, she sighed before explaining.
"Masrani made an offer, that if sponsoring at this island's resort gym, the money he offered would go to my charity of choice, you saw how I was when Wu wanted the dinosaurs to be perfect." Bumpy cooed. "That entire time I kept on thinking on how much has gone into this," she waves her arm out to gesture around her before seating back down. "How it could've be used for something, something that can save lives, instead for a park that the first time happen failed and now it has gone up in smoke again. That's why every fight I've won, 60% of my check goes to the better future, I do not want another family go through what mine did. The sleepless nights of worry, to paying for treatment and meds, and… no child should have to grow up so fast to take on responsibilities can be too big for them, for a child to be a child."
Everyone remained silent, not knowing what to say, Bumpy walks up to her, getting on her back legs so her front feet and get on her good knee, she purrs, and Aithne pets the baby Dino's head, she dropped down and heading back to Ben.
"But despite all the in the lack of a better word, gone to shite moments, I am glad to have met you lot, even if we don't see each other again."
She turned her gaze to look out side the window hoping that would give them the sign that she is done talking, and they did, everyone was quiet for less than five minutes before Ben spoke out.
"Dang it! Come on," Ben tips out all the stuff in his bumbag. It's gotta be here somewhere. He finds what he is looking for. Bumpy stepped in something icky and I'm low on sanitizer. Its fine, I can make more."
Aithne look back at everyone, get up from her seat, puts her bag back on and leans on the nearest pole crossing her arms.
"Ben why are you here?" Kenji asked.
"What he means is-" Darius corrected. "Eh well, you're scared of dinosaurs, and the outdoors, and sometimes the indoors, and germs."
"Whipped cream for some reason?" Sammy added.
"The way it moves," Ben shudders.
"Yeah, that's what I'm talking about," Kenji says. "What is you deal?"
"My mom works for Mr. Masrani," Ben explains. "She got me into camp, said it would be a great way for me to 'face my fears,' its been a nightmare! I'm sick of being scared all the time, and of running and of almost getting eaten, and… and of holding everyone back, I just can't do… this." Bumpy looks up at him. "But its not all bad, If I hadn't come, I-I never would have met-"
Out of nowhere, the monorail Shaked as if it collided with something, something big, Aithne grabbed onto the pole to stop herself from falling over unlike Darius while the other gripped onto the chair, Ben cradled Bumpy, they all look up wondering what caused it, a second one happened, Darius got up and ran towards the back of the cart, Aithne grabs the axe and follows after him, the other followed suit. A third strike hits them again, but due to the light inside they could not see what is out there, Darius look closer out the window in front of him, he gasps.
"Guys, we gotta turn off the lights!" he snatched the torch from Kenji and starts hitting the ceiling light.
Not questioning Aithne turns the axe upside down and hits the light above her while Darius does the other after taking the flashlight from Kenji, when the lights go out, they see Pteranodons and whole lot of them.
"Flying reptiles are basically seabirds," Darius explains still bashing at the lights. "They're attracted to shinny moving objects, and with all these lights on-"
"We're a shiny moving object!" Sammy finished.
"Great and I thought normal seagulls where bad," Aithne spat.
One of the many Pteranodons smashed into the window, its claws creaking the glass, Kenji screams and runs to where the rest of the torches are, then Sammy then Brooklynn, leaving none for Ben or Yasmina.
"What should I do?" Ben asked.
"Just keep out of the way!" Brooklynn says handing the second torch to Yasmina.
They start knocking the lights out, while they hear huge thuds coming from the roof, then suddenly one from the side where Sammy and Yasmina stood, but with some kind of look it crashed into an oncoming tree as it was determined to get in, nearly in the dark the thuds started coming from the next cart where they settled before, one done two more to go.
However with the light out it is infecting the rest of the device such as the door, Aithne gives Darius the axe as she opened the door with her bare hand, she turns back, and he tosses it back to her so she can get started on killing the light again.
"Brooklynn you're with Yaz," Darius instruct. "Sammy help Ben and Bumpy across!
Aithne made quick work with the light smashing as they move down to the next cart, Kenji opened the doors, letting them all pass before himself, they made it to second to last one, the Pteranodons hit them again, Aithne unluckily hit her bruised side when she landed on the one of the chairs she bite her tongue not to curse out loud and judging the groans she was not the only one to hit a sore spot. Hearing Sammy gasp, she looks at where the Texan is pointing, her eyes widen, they see another monorail but its destroyed.
"At least now we know what that boom was earlier," Sammy says.
"I told you-"
"Don't," Brooklynn cuts off Kenji.
"If we don't switch tracks or stops this car right now," Darius mentioned. "We're gonna hit that thing, full speed!"
"The front car," Kenji points out. "There's control panels there! Kenji. VIP Tour I was-"
"Later Kenji," Aithne barked.
Darius goes to open the door, but it won't open, its jammed shut.
"No, no, no!"
"Out of the way," Aithne tells him, readying the axe.
She swings the axe into the door, she then starts to pull on it hoping to pry it open, they other minus Ben aided, Yasmina grabbing onto the axe handle too, helping Aithne.
"I'm gonna get to the control car through there," Darius tells them, running at the back where Ben is.
Aithne looks other her shoulder, seeing the ceiling hatch, right above the kid, then seeing the swarm outside.
"You're gonna what?!" Sammy exclaimed.
"You can't go out there!" Kenji sputtered. "That's where the flying whatever are!"
"We don't have a choice! Me an-" Darius looks at Ben, who is completely terrified, he climbs up on the chair. "I'm the only one who can fit."
Just as he said that, another Pteranodons strikes at the cart again, knocking Darius to the floor, as well as everyone else expect Aithne who was still trying to open the door with the axe.
"Distract the flock while I crawl over the top to the control car," Darius continues. "Use the flashlights, keep them away from-"
The hatch opens Aithne look overs Bumpy is squealing looking up, standing on her back legs, Ben is getting out of the cart and onto the roof.
"Ben!" Darius called out, hurrying after him.
She and the other remained still, surprised to say the least, before Aithne could even think about going after them herself, Darius dropped down
"Come on! We have to keep them away from Ben!" Darius tells them. "Aithne get that door open!"
Not batting a eye they did as was asked, Aithne pulls the axe out and strikes at it again, and starts prying it again with all her might.
"Come on you piece of shite," Aithne strained.
She hears a thud inside the control room, looking though the window Ben had safely made it.
"Come on Benny boy," Aithne muttered, watching him press the buttons on the panel, before going back to trying to open the door.
Sweat trickled down her temples, she feels it move slowly with creaking metal painfully dragging itself, an centimetre….. 5…..8, looking up once more, they are getting closer to crashing.
"HOLD ON!" Aithne shouts to the others, she braces for impact.
Instead of crashing and burning, the monorail made a quick turn, just missing by the skin of their teeth, sparks went flying as the speed pass it, enough to make the other monorail fall to the jungle, catching fire and the Pteranodons fly towards it now instead in that instead of them.
The sound of laugh and cheer made Aithne drop the axe, relieved it is over, Ben opens the doors the cart, Aithne smiles seeing how brave he was, she leans next to the door, spent after trying to open the blasted thing. They chanted Ben's name as Bumpy runs over to him wagging her tail like puppy.
"Great job Ben," Aithne sighed, the others formed around the hero of the moment.
"You saved us Ben," Darius congrats. "I didn't know you had it in you."
Before Ben could move or reply, glass shattered from his left, a rouge Pteranodons glided in grabbing Ben, chair flew at the other window making a clear escape for the Dinosaur and it's prey Aithne stomach dropped, ditching the axe she sprints after Ben, reaching out her left hand grabbing his hand just in time.
"Ben!" Aithne yells, she holds onto the metal frame with her right hand stopping herself from flying away too.
Glass? Metal? Or both was cutting into her hand in the glass she grunts in pain as the Pteranodon is trying to shake off whatever is hold it back, but she doesn't let go of Ben she would not let go. Realising it is not going anywhere the dinosaur lets go of Ben, the suddenly drop made her lower herself to a squat, still holding on to the boy's wrist and the frame she can feel blood dripping down her hand and arm, she tries pulling him up but not only he is moving too much out of fright but she her arms where killing her, her adrenaline is not high enough, she is exhausted, it was happening too quickly, but she refuses to let Ben fall.
"Help!" Ben cried.
"I've got you!" Aithne tying to reassure him.
"Aithne, Aithne, Aithne."
She sees his tears fly into wind, they grip are slipping, just before she loses him, she releases her other hand and grab Ben's arm with both hands, before she leaned forward she felt someone holding her from fall, then a few more, quickly glancing over her shoulder the others are trying to pull them back up, Darius wrapped around her waist, Yasmina grabbed her left bicep while Kenji had her right, Brooklynn clutched on to Daruis and Sammy grabbed onto her.
"Hold on Ben!" Darius calls out, nearly making her go deaf, but she could live with it.
They all started pulling but it wasn't enough, from all the running and emotion all over the place they were tried, Aithne keeps on pulling, critting her teeth from the strain but another Pteranodon fly's at them, hitting Ben again, Aithne only has her blooded hand gripping Ben's now. Pain shot right up her arm, she had to bite her tongue to not scream out, she tried to keep a tight grip, but it gets weaker and weaker, then his fingers slipped out of her grasp.
"BEN!" Aithne cries out, reaching out to get him, only for to see the fear in his eyes before disappearing into the darkness.
