A/N:- What I own in this fanfic? Nothing!

Surprised? Ehe~

"*Huff* *Huff*"

The piercing sunlight flashed on his face every time Tatsuya ran past a gap in the canopy of the forest.

A figure of determination clad in a specialized training suit tailored for the rugged terrain emerged from the depth of the forest. Tatsuya's attire, meticulously chosen for the arduous journey ahead, comprised a moisture-wicking shirt and pants, crafted from quick-drying fabric to combat the forest's unpredictable elements.

Tatsuya's long sleeves upper wear and pants provided a shield against errant branches and undergrowth, while his trail running shoes gripped the earth with each agile step. Over his slim but sturdy frame, he wore a lightweight jacket, ready to shed or don as the forest's temperament demanded.

He was currently searching for his targets before he could be discovered. To be fair with his battle, Tatsuya hasn't utilized Elemental Sight even once.

'Above!' His thought was a moment earlier than the movement of his fingers as Tatsuya activated a spell and the next moment he pointed his finger above his head.

"Ghak!" A man fell down the moment Tatsuya hit him with an air bullet.

Compressing air around a definite section and utilizing movement-type magic to push the compressed air toward a designated target—Tatsuya named it simply Air Bullet.

The person who fell was wearing a yellow mask all over his face.

Tatsuya heaved in satisfaction before he noticed a spell activation from three o'clock.

Pointing his beloved CAD Trident toward the person, Tatsuya used Gram Demolition before the Activation Sequence could have been absorbed by the magician.

"KHUK!" The magician glared at Tatsuya before deciding to charge at him with the bokken he carried.

The man was wearing a red mask—a sign of danger. Tatsuya could have evaded the attack and fled...however, that would come to bite him later.

Tatsuya responded to a physical attack with combat. Sheathing his CAD he formed a basic martial arts form before allowing the man to draw closer.

However, what Tatsuya missed was the wicked smile the man wore behind the mask,

The man knew Tatsuya would respond to his attack in the same manner that's why he signaled his comrade, standing a few meters away from the site, to attack Tatsuya the moment he put away his CAD.

However, it was a huge mistake to think, that Tatsuya wouldn't know the presence of the magician attacking him from behind.

The moment the bokken slashed down towards Tatsuya's collarbone and the rock missile flew to attack his back—Tatsuya disappeared.

"Agh!!" The rock missile struck the bokken-holding man—knocking the air out of him.

"Where did he go?!" The man who launched the rock missile looked around, however, he couldn't keep on searching for long as he felt several invisible waves hitting him. He felt dizzy and soon fell to the ground.

Tatsuya sighed as he landed on the ground.

He simply used Weight Systematic-Type magic: Leap to dodge the man and the spell at the same. Using Acceleration in mid-air, he launched towards the hiding magician and then used Compound Waves to render the man unconscious.

Tatsuya looked at his hand, and couldn't help thinking,

"For me to use magic like a normal, no, like a high-level magician while still possessing those two monstrous abilities..." Tatsuya couldn't believe that he could be a normal magician like others.

His casting speed was extremely slow in the last life because his magic calculation area was already occupied with Decomposition and Regrowth. However, in this life, things seem different.

Tatsuya could easily conceal his two Demonic Gifts from the world and present himself as a normal magician. His contribution to the magic engineering field would be hefty enough as a magician...

...however, Tatsuya knows better than anyone how he would end up utilizing those spells which could cause mass destruction and unimaginable chaos.

In this life, the world has yet to see the Mahesvara and Tatsuya dearly hopes that things remain the same.

After finishing his training Tatsuya returned home.

He doesn't usually work at his father's research lab and mainly tunes CAD to pass the time at home. Loop Cast was something he invented in this timeline as well, however, only one person knows about it.

In the eyes of the world, the true inventor of Loop-Cast is Shiba Tatsurou.

It was Tatsuya who insisted that his father should take the credit for this great development in the field of magic. Tatsuya simply didn't want to create a hassle for himself again by giving birth to some modern-day legend like Taurus Silver.

Having endured the challenges of his previous life and the repercussions of his identity as Mr. Silver, Tatsuya concluded that it was not worth risking his name being involved in this matter. The memories of past struggles and the desire for a peaceful existence prompted him to prioritize anonymity and keep his contributions hidden, allowing him to navigate the complexities of his new life without the burden of unwanted attention.

It took him a lot of time to convince his father but in the end, Tatsurou said he would keep the co-developer of the invention a secret and present himself as the main developer. In that way, Tatsurou would be the main focus of the media and people wouldn't query about Tatsuya much.

Although Tatsuya was reluctant even to that, Tatsurou convinced him somehow.

Tatsuya was taking his time to develop the Flight Magic since landing such great bombs one after another might raise suspicion.

Tatsuya's genius behind Loop-Cast remained concealed from everyone, even his mother, as he intended. The secrecy surrounding this knowledge was paramount, and Tatsuya was determined to ensure that it remained hidden, orchestrating events according to his plan.

'Haah...why do I feel I just jinxed myself...' Tatsuya threw away such needless thoughts and disembarked the vehicle before heading inside the house.

Nothing could be more delightful than a bath for now.

It was after lunch. Tatsuya sat on the couch in the living area while reading some courses of his third year. Although not every subject syllabus was listed, he had a general idea of what to expect in the third year, as such, he was just revising it.

Truth be told, he was already above the level of a high school student and could easily pass through each year's final paper without studying much. However, Tatsuya still wanted to attend the First High.

He wanted to be with her again.

In this life, he wasn't her guardian. More like, they were pretty much strangers until now. After all, the son of a famous researcher and the leading heiress of the Yotsuba Clan don't have anything in common to interact with each other.

Apart from high school.

Tatsuya knew this world was different from the one he had lived through for fifteen years. As such, he has to be prepared for the worst. If some organization or some people carrying similar but dangerous beliefs target First High or specifically Miyuki, then Tatsuya has to eliminate them.

Given Miyuki's close association with the Yotsuba Clan from birth, she would inevitably face challenges and adversaries within the school environment. The Yotsuba Clan's formidable reputation would attract both allies and enemies, leading to potential conflicts and attempts to create problems for Miyuki. Despite her talents and capabilities, navigating the intricate web of alliances and rivalries within the school would prove to be a constant test of her resolve and diplomatic skills.

However, the most concerning problem for Tatsuya was: How Miyuki had turned out in this world when she was brought up under Yotsuba Maya.

After a lot of research, Tatsuya found out that Yotsuba Miya died six years ago, and after that, it was possible that Miyuki would have been given to the Matriarch for Miyuki's well-being. And under the influence of that woman who is hailed as the Queen of Nights, Miyuki's personality might have been influenced as well.

'...regardless, I have to keep her safe or I won't know what to do with myself.'

Flipping through the slides, Tatsuya finished reading the first block as he heard his mother's voice from not so far away,

"You seem pretty engrossed. I wonder if my son is now invested in some romance novels~"

She placed the tray of coffee cups on the table before taking a seat beside him.

Despite having HAR to help with housework, his mother likes to do some of the things by herself. Like preparing food and beverages and sometimes even cleaning the house.

"Just some World history." Tatsuya put down the terminal before taking hold of the cup.

Just as he took a sip, he heard his mother sighing,

"Once you leave this house, I will be all alone."

Just as she said, after entering high school Tatsuya had decided to shift his residence to Fuchu and act more independently. Even though transportation from this house to the school was no big deal, he wanted to have more liberation to work on his inventions.

"It's not like we won't be meeting for a long time."

Tatsuya's casual response made Shiori pout as she poked his arm with her finger and complained, "Why do you seem so unaffected by our separation? Is it that, you want to get away from your Mother so badly?"

Tatsuya wanted to sigh. He has all the reason. However, it would make the older one complain even more.

Unlike in his previous life, Tatsuya now understood people's feelings regarding him better as such he was able to respond to her in the best manner possible,

"It will get equally lonely for me, as well, Mother. However, it's necessary for me to get accustomed to living alone."

Tatsuya was already familiar with isolation, that's why he wasn't being completely honest about his motive. But telling her the truth behind his decision would produce unnecessary concern from his Mother.

The world he was familiar with and the incidents Tatsuya had faced in the previous world might not be the same as this one. Forget about the changes he brought just because of his birth and upbringing as a 'human' , there are things that have been set in motion before Tatsuya's birth—signifying how this timeline was completely different from the one he has memories of.

Tatsuya needs to prepare for the things that can threaten the life of the next head of the Yotsuba Clan. He himself was nothing but a regular citizen as of now, but Miyuki—she was destined to get surrounded by enemies sooner or later.

"You do say that, but do you mean it?" Tatsuya raised his brows hearing her query before he asked back,

"What can I do to make you believe me?"

Shiori hummed a little before she suggested, "How about we go on a shopping trip the day after tomorrow?"

Although he has a hunch about what his Mother could ask, but still the demand being so unrelated to the conversation made him sigh.

"...alright."

Around six on the clock, Tatsuya finished calibrating his CAD and stored it in the holster which he got as a present from his Father recently.

He has the idea of Thought-based CAD and he can lay the foundation any time he wants, but Tatsuya decided to keep things in moderation for the time being. He would initiate to construct Flight-magic in a few months—based on necessity in the Nine School Competition.

For the ceremony he was wearing black formal trousers and a white shirt. Adorning the holster he hid it under his coat before deciding to step out of the room.

The time his Father told Tatsuya to meet near the venue was around twenty minutes past six. The manual car driven by the driver would only take fifteen so they were right on schedule.

Once he walked out, he found his mother waiting there.

"How do I look?" She twirled a little around to show her outfit to her son.

Being an actress in the past she knows how to match her dress according to the occasion and apply the required make-up. A black trumpet gown that reached her ankles. Paired up with high heels she extruded a refreshing charm. She has curled her hair and allowed it to fall down her left shoulder.

Overall, she looked, "Beautiful. The dress seems to be made for you."

Shiori smiled in glee revealing her two dimples before she walked toward her son and hooked her arm with his, "You really have a way with your words. Now mister, can you escort me to the venue?"

Tatsuya nodded with a soft smile before the duo walked out of the house.

Inside the car, Tatsuya was working on something related to a project that he would be working on slowly and patiently in the future. This project was something he had kept a secret from his father as well until he didn't prepare the prototype, Tatsuya was keen on keeping things that way.

Shiori just disconnected the call with her husband, before she informed her son, "Your father has reached the location and is waiting for us."

Tatsuya wordlessly nodded. Being a scientist his father has always been punctual and carries a sharp memory, that helped him retain a serene wedded life.

"Are you hoping to meet someone from your Middle school there?" His mother's question made him pause for a moment.

His mind raced through the faces he had seen in his Middle School before he responded, "Most likely. However, they won't recognize me since I am not much on friendly terms with anyone from my previous school."

Tatsuya had a normal middle school life, where he was acquainted with many but no one was there whom he could call his actual friend. It was not an intentional choice but rather a circumstantial result.

Shiori raised her brows, before asking, "That can't be...there must be someone who knows you closely and might notice you in the ceremony."

His mother sounded rather confident. However, Tatsuya knew nothing like that would happen. He didn't show any skill or trait that could make him stand out.

Although there were some faces in his Middle School with whom he was familiar, it doesn't mean they would be drawn towards him just because they were close acquaintance in his previous life.

...or so he thought.

The family of three was united near the venue before Tatsurou along with his wife followed by his son walked inside the ceremonial hall, which was under the possession of the Kudou family.

They didn't have to verify their invitation and just had to walk through a brief scanning procedure before they were allowed to walk in.

Many eyes traveled in their direction. Some were conscious and some were not. Those who knew his father were more focused on the man. And those who were unaware, focused on the beautiful woman who was once a celebrity.

Soon, the two were surrounded by many—leaving Tatsuya alone.

Tatsuya sighed. Watching his parents being the center of attention, he was once again reminded how keeping his identity as a researcher and developer a secret was extremely necessary.

He took a glass of fruit wine from the waiter who came to serve him. Just as he was about to take a sip, his hand suddenly halted mid-way.

He felt a gaze on him. There was no doubt that this person was looking at no one but Tatsuya. And without turning to look at the person, Tatsuya knew who she was. After all, twenty-four hours a day, he keeps an 'eye' on her.

However, at this place he didn't want to be seen talking to her so he decided to walk away and pretend to never be aware of her gaze.

...however, just as Tatsuya was about to take a step, the person from behind called for him,

"Anno...do I know you from somewhere?"

A/N:- And that's it!

There would be some changes from the canon since this is a fanfic. Since Tatsuya is aware of the possible future it would be weird to repeat the scenarios.

Some characters might turn out to be OOC...majorly those whom I won't be writing much. There would be no harem in this, or better, Tatsuya won't be allowed to look at anyone else other than his Hime.

Your reviews would decide the future of this story. If I see enough reviews then I will write and post another chapter this month.

See ya~
