In this world not many things entertain the Matriarch of the Yotsuba house.

Being one of the strongest magicians in the world, ruling over the strongest clan among the Ten Masters Clan, and someone who doesn't have many friends and relatives to talk with, Maya mostly awaits moments like these to occur.

What were 'these' moments? The recent report she received about the congratulatory celebration held at Kudou's residence.

The potentially next head of the clan and the girl on whom many people have rested their trust for a 'better future'—Yotsuba Miyuki.

The perfect girl with no flaw to point at. She is the epitome of beauty, they say, with a good disposition and a brilliant mind.

She not only absorbs the knowledge she gets taught but also utilizes it whenever necessary. And the most prominent quality of the girl.

The control of magic.

Someone who has the ability to possess Mental-interference magic becomes a strong contender for the throne already, and as of now, there are only two that can be counted.

However, considering Kuroba Mitsugu's scion's lack of what it takes to become the next head, Miyuki's chances rises.

Yotsuba Miyuki is a talent, once in a generation—someone whom people have already considered as the next head of the clan.

Her fate is bound with the clan, and Maya is sure that Miyuki would maintain the reputation and fear of the Yotsubas among the Masters Clan and all over the world. After all, the girl was trained by her mother.

However, Maya's focus was no longer on Miyuki. She isn't interested in the obvious. Miyuki is a boring subject for the Queen of the Night—a phase that would eventually come and continue.

What makes Maya interested in Miyuki is her connection with someone whom Maya desires to possess.

A weapon of mass destruction. Someone who can turn the world into cinders if the person he loves gets under the shade of danger.

Maya loves the thrill of anticipating of what that entity does in the future, what this world forces him to do. She was more invested in that story.

And thanks to her 'sources' she knows that sooner or later, Miyuki and him are going to become one again.

'Can't wait to see this world burn under your wrath~'

Several things changed in this timeline, and Tatsuya could no longer utilize his knowledge about the future for his gains.

Just like how the Okinawa incident never happened in this world, and Yotsuba Miya died at a later date, but the cause remained the same.

Things related to Dahan were also not changed, and so was the twisted nature of the Yotsuba Matriarch.

There are a few names that are quite coming up in the news and people who are standing out. Tatsuya knew that he would see quite many new faces in First High as well—and some familiar ones with a new personality perhaps.

'Who thought I would be re-joining high school, and this time because of my own desire…'

Closing the terminal he moved toward the dining hall where the coffee was already prepared by the HAR(Home Automation Robot).

Tatsuya poured himself some and took a brief sip, "Too light…" maybe he was being a little too picky but he just couldn't feel satisfied with the taste.

Bzz*

He received mail on his terminal, making Tatsuya frown. Through this line only a single person texts him.

[Today at 9, West Port.]

His eyes turned cold as he read the message. He didn't particularly react however, Tatsuya was quite displeased about the frequency of their appearance.

'As I thought, there is something working as a catalyst for them….'

…..

The night was unnaturally still, the moonlight glinting off the dark waters as the massive ship crept toward the port. Its silent hull loomed like a predator in the night, carrying its cargo of several humanoie beings—soulless, perfect replicas. The faint hum of the ship's engines was the only sound in the oppressive quiet.

On the dock, shrouded in shadow, Tatsuya waited. His expression was unreadable, his piercing eyes locked on the approaching vessel. In his hand, the gleaming Silver Horn rested, its intricate frame cold and deadly.

The ship drew closer. Figures began to move on the deck—inhumanly synchronized, their motions unnervingly precise. Tatsuya's grip on the Silver Horn tightened. He raised it, his movements mechanical, almost methodical.

It took him a moment to verify through his Elemental Sight that these beings weren't human.

With a practiced motion, Tatsuya raised the Silver Horn. His fingers slid along its surface, activating its sequence. A faint blue glow traced its edges, forming intricate patterns of light. A breath of air whispered past his lips as he connected to the activation sequence, his Elemental Sight locking onto the structure of the ship.

Every detail of the vessel unraveled in his mind—its metallic hull, the artificial beings inside, the way their synthetic bodies were constructed. He wasn't simply observing; he was calculating.

The ship's molecular composition appeared as a web of data before his eyes.

Tatsuya's left hand hovered over the Silver Horn, inputting the targeting parameters through invisible gestures. His magic circuits flared to life, and the air around him grew unnaturally still.

"Mist Dispersion, activate." he murmured, his voice devoid of emotion.

The CAD pulsed.

A silent ripple spread through the air, unseen but overwhelming. The spell struck the ship like an invisible scalpel.

The massive vessel halted mid-approach as its hull shimmered, then began to break apart. No explosion, no resistance—just disintegration.

The metal framework unraveled first, its solid form vanishing into particles finer than dust. Inside, the artificial humans froze. Their mechanical precision faltered as their bodies began to dissolve, layer by layer.

The synthetic skin, the artificial organs, even the circuitry within—all decomposed with a haunting precision, returning to the base particles from which they'd been created.

Tatsuya's gaze remained fixed, unyielding, as the ship continued to vanish. His calculations flowed effortlessly, ensuring not a single fragment remained. By the time the process was complete, the ship, the cargo, and every trace of its existence were gone.

'Artificial humans…exactly who is producing them in such a vast number?' Unlike the parasite he faced during the second-year NSC, these beings don't hold sentience. Nor was there a sorcery booster.

From what Tatsuya has researched by disassembling several artificial humans—their genes match those magicians who no longer exist. And a single kind of DNA was found in more than one.

Additionally, there was a synthetic psion generator with CAD installed inside their body; allowing these inhumane to cast magic faster than a regular person. If there was any drawback then it was the limitation of how much psion they can use.

'However, isn't it the same for everyone else?' Tatsuya inwardly muttered.

These artificial forms were far more dangerous than those Generators since these beings vary in nature.

'I need to remain close to Miyuki…' In a corner of his mind, Tatsuya believed, in a way or another, these attacks were related to the Ten Masters Clan, which would ultimately drag Miyuki in the mess as well.

And if it's about Miyuki, Tatsuya won't hesitate to become the Mahesvara once again.

It was the first day at the First High. Wearing the familiar uniform, Tatsuya couldn't help but feel a tinge of excitement. An emotion which he never felt during his previous timeline, if the subject was school.

Standing before the screen, he soon got a video call from his mother.

[Haa~my son looks so charming. Nee~Tatsuya, are you sure you don't want to choose acting as your career?]

Hundreds of Artificial Humans couldn't make him helpless as he was feeling right now.

"How many times I have told you, Mother, I have already decided what I want to do."

The older one pouted,

[Be a boring man who spends days cooped up in his lab.]

[I take that as a personal attack, honey.]

Faintly, Tatsuya heard his father's voice.

The lady ignored her husband and smilingly asked her son,

[So? Are you excited to meet new people and make new friends?]

Tatsuya paused for a moment before nodding, "Yes, I am." There was no point in lying.

The smile on the lady's face widened, as she added,

[Well, I won't say 'take care' since I know she definitely will take care of you.]

Before Tatsuya could ask who this person was, the call got disconnected.

'I have a feeling…' Tatsuya heaved a sigh before departing.

…..

The gates of First High School were wide open, welcoming new students. The clean, modern buildings stood tall against the bright sky, giving off a sense of importance.

Groups of students were gathered outside, their voices filled with excitement and nerves. Some talked about their families and magic skills, while others stood quietly, focused on examining the premise.

Tatsuya walked in, unbothered by their chatter as he decided to head towards the auditorium directly rather than wandering around.

He wasn't the first year representative; that post was designated to the person who deserved it.

'I wonder if Miyuki is already inside…' With the thought of meeting his hime once again, made him smile softly.

To break the train of his thoughts, someone called out to him,

"Wait, are you Shiba Tatsuya?"

This voice….

Tatsuya turned around to verify if his hunch was right. And indeed, the person who called him out was none other than,

"Ichijou Masaki."

A/N:- Call me noob but I can only write 1.5k in one sitting T~T. Well, I hope you liked the pacing. As much as it seems strange, Tatsuya and Miyuki haven't contacted each other since then. And who do we have here? The Crimson Prince. Well, I don't like him.

Tell me, if I should write about his romance with someone? Well, I have decided a few pairings but my main focus would be on our main couple.

Thanks for reading. Drop a review.
