Sadly, the Coalition had already died fighting against the Second Knife and experiment No.14. But there's a mission hinted through a nightmare to Pechy Comet: save the Manikins from the Taken Penny Luna. And so, on day 5, the minted Starstorm dropped down to the World of Dissidia, where the gods used to battle through summoned warriors and so. Now overrun by the Taken Warframes hunting down Manikins, this world is down for the ride, with the team surviving the Taken and finally having Penny. The Pechies after a fight were able to free Penny... but the falling Warframes has nuked the entire world, destroying Dissidia altogether. Starstorm returned with all remaining survivors rescued, but why hunt the Manikins at this point? Anyways...
Location: Miss Continuum's mothership
"You don't even know how to make your own fate truly!" An evil Hunter screamed.
The same fireteam that 2025!Pechy took out at the start of Elyos infiltration (*1) are now imprisoned in the mothership, inside a cell guarded by Canon Bringers.
"You're an evil fireteam, doing petty things and destructive errands." The Warlock interrogating the evil fireteam. "If you have any shame in helping kill off our Coalition, speak up and repent."
"Ok ok, fine!" An evil Warlock fell to the threatening words. "So you're from that ignora-"
"Don't speak ill of the Vanguards." The Hunter picked out the stealth insult.
"We... we survived. Those are invasive alternative timeline ones, able to drain down our forces with theirs." The evil Warlock recalled. "They even tried to destroy all our Ghosts. They final-killed our friends. We were lucky our own entire fireteam survived it all."
"I heard you are of the Prismatic Fleet. Who?" The Titan pressured the evil fireteam.
"Is that... you?" The other evil Warlock pointed to.
Clearly, the Second Knife were virtually identical to the main originals before the obsession came along.
"So you mistook us for that evil ones. That means you knows the Second Knife and timelines. Alternate universes." The Hunter responded. "We are their counterparts. And we are not obsessed. We're still dedicated as ever."
"Devotion inspires bravery. Bravery inspires sacrifice. Sacrifice. Lead. To!" The Warlock pointed a submachine gun to one evil Ghost.
"Arck!" That Ghost shivered.
"You know. Or at least, you knew." The Warlock spotted the Ghosts' fear. "Guardians make our own fate, and by giving their life to defend and fight."
"You can't be serious." An evil Titan, in disbelief as they are in front of the actual Guardians from an alternative universe.
"I thought us Guardians protect-" The Hunter shrugged.
"These Guardians here are evil. They have confirmed themselves that they serves the Second Knife." The Titan them glared at the evil fireteam. "Who caused the Second Collapse?"
"Second Collapse? We thought it's only the Witness!" Evil Warlock #2 rebutted.
"Right. They called us to be behind the Second Collapse, even though we averted it." Evil Warlock #1 dismissed. "So no, the Second Knife never happened."
"What if we told you that in the timeline you serves..."
2025!Pechy, Exo Stranger and the Witness walked to the cell. "...they caused the Second Collapse?"
"No... no... no..." The other evil Titan is shocked. "The Witness... and that..."
"I reject your petty tyranny." Elsie rebuffed. "You know my own escape. I had to lay low."
"Are you the same Guardians I had to? But it doesn't matter, since you're..." The Witness dismissed. "...unworthy."
The other evil Hunter tried to Golden Gun the creature, but the force field blocked the Solar gunshots.
"Useless. For we have security. CXA is our security here. You're going to face the fact." 2025!Pechy refuted. "How about you confront your shit?"
"You prefer chaos and suffering, just as we suspected." The Witness commented on the evil fireteam. "Unsurprising, that you are beyond saving."
"We are salvation! It is so anyone can make their own fates!" Evil Titan #1 refuted. "Prismatic Fleet are a mean to guide all of existence throughout the garden!"
"It is untrue. A retroactive lie under the tyranny of our Young Wolf. Our Guardian and friends, falling down into the Second Collapse, not too long after the aversion (*2). You're back to being just like the Warlords of old days." Elsie called the evil out. "I was right already. You have become evil. Not Light, not Darkness, but you. You."
"Yes, you pretty much corrupted both the Light and the Dark." 2025!Pechy shook her head. "And what have you done... to. My. Penny!?"
"Penny Luna?" Evil Hunter #1 heard it.
"You thought she's just fiction. But she is one of my best friends." 2025!Pechy threatened the evil fireteam. "She's in coma! Your master Took her!"
"Taken? You serious?" Evil Warlock #2 scoffed.
"You turned our old Elyos into a doomsday device!" (*3)
Soyle declared her pre-setted betrayal to Darkbolts in front of the evil fireteam. "Your Second Knife abused us! The Divine One rejects you as do we!"
"Soyle, what are you doing!?" Evil Hunter #1 noticed.
"Darkbolts, granting the wishes of evil Guardians like you..." 2025!Pechy morphed into her Dreamcatcher princess form. "Return to your OBLIVION!" (*4)
2025!Pechy obliterated the evil fireteam and their Ghosts at once, giving one shot to make the final death of them. In other words: Pechy Comet just permanently wiped an evil fireteam.
"I guess things just take care of itself." The Titan grabbing a snack. "Congrats for the kills."
"I think..." 2025!Pechy got it. "I just..."
"Killed 6 unrepentant errors." The Witness then left the scene.
"Right. I never thought..." 2025!Pechy looked at her hand. "Oh shoot. Shooty. I killed... I just killed... Never thought my innate power... could kill..."
2025!Pechy gasped in shock of this murder she never previously thought would do alone. "This is the first time I killed with my own hands... My power..."
"You just learned to kill people with only your own power. And that's something..." Beta saw the scene. "Firstly, you punched Amaya Shadow... then you too quickly learned to use guns... and now this."
"I feel like... starting to become a killing machine." 2025!Pechy in her shock, hugged Beta. "Beta... What if I go insane?! What if I become evil!?"
"We've gone through this already." (*5) Beta hugged back to comfort. "It's ok. You just killed some villains. And you never meant ill. It's ok, we're in this together."
"Beta, thank you..."
"You have been afraid of permanent kills. But since the Darkbolts and associates are warring against us all, it cannot be helped."
"Penny... Is Penny still there?"
At Ivy Comet room...
"Miss Luna is pulsing herself. Her heartbeat restored." Ivy Jolicoeur on the care of 2025!Penny Luna. "It's working. She's still..."

The friends have embraced 2025!Penny, who doesn't remember her Taken stint well.

The three friends hugged each other in reunite and heartwarming.
"Ivy?" 2025!Pechy stepped in. "Oh my star, it's Penny!"
2025!Pechy joined the hug. "You're alive! You're back! I MISSED YOU!"
"Pechy! I'm... scared...! That evil..." 2025!Penny has teared in. "I couldn't... Ah..."
"Penny Luna is alive! We did it!" 2025! Dreamer squeeed, and hugged Beta.
But the mutated woman's strengthened and reinforced body clamped Beta in whole body down.
"URGH!" Beta is smothered by 2025!Dreamer's reinforced body.
"Relax, Dreamer! You're crushing her!" Deadpool shouted. "You're a mutant now. You're too strong! So you must relax!"
"Oof." Dreamer let go. "Sorry."
A while later, and it's afternoon. 2025 friends are so glad to have their Penny back, with a partial exception of 2025!Amaya.
"You all let your mind down ever since my near-future defeat." 2023!Amaya complained. "Now I'm being shackled through the Canon Bringer. Why can't I be destroying-"
"Your past villainy were a failure we have since accepted." 2025!Amaya glared at her past self. "Deal with it. Pechy's way above us. I'm also enlightened like Akia the traitor child!"
"Akia... duh." 2023!Amaya rolled her eyes out, much to her daughter's disappointment.
"I decided to disown you. Abusive mother." 2023!Akia turned her back on 2023!Amaya.
"May I pick past up?" 2027!Amaya targeted her 2023 herself.
"Yes, but don't kill her." 2025!Amaya accepted.
2023!Amaya screamed in shock and horror, as she's going to be bullied by her later future self for the villainy Amaya Shadow had.
After lunchtime...
"You still did not eat at normal pace." Atheon nitpicked on Crota, still with the plain and stoic monotone of Vex.
"Hey! Check! It! Out!"
And suddenly, the two bosses in human form were lifted up like nothing.
"And down!"
The two were whacked down to the floor.
"Insufficient damage. No pain is received." Atheon simply recovered.
"Urgh... Why?" Crota rolled up.
2025!Penny. The alien girl, still with telekinesis, but no longer directly resistant to paracausality.
"I'm sorry for moving you up and down. My name is Penny Luna. I'm from 2025, and pleased to meet you."
"2025 is the correct timeframe. Welcome, Penny Luna, humanoid alien from Earth." Atheon bowed down.
"Oh! An alien from a distant universe!" Crota laughed, and so patted 2025!Penny.
"Uh, please don't pick my antenna..." 2025!Penny felt the comfort so long Crota avoided her antennae.
"Do you hate the Taken Warframes now?" Otoka is sitting on her lunch seat, snacking.
"Warframes? Your opinion, not ours." Crota scoffed.

"My citizen. We have a problem, blocking the road to perfection." A man in an arcane set of gold-trimmed armor draped in green. "That problem came from nowhere, threatening to end this place. A place I am working on."
The magical girl stumbled upon the man. "Ahhh!"
The man noticed the magical girl. "Who are you, children?"
"Uhhh... Ah..." The girl got up. "Sorry."/"ごめんなさい"
"I don't remember seeing you. In this cutesy dress!"
"Ummm... Hi, mister... uh... What's your name?"
"Call me Doom. Victor von Doom!"
It was the Doctor Doom, from Reality-616. (*6) (Name: Victor von Doom, Note: Pandora's Box power! Also a dictator in the making)
"Mr. Doom!" The magical girl got it. "My name is Iroha Asobe! I'm a magical girl! Nice to meet you!"/"私の名前は遊部いろはです！魔法少女です！初めまして!" (Name: Iroha Asobe, Note: Second Year at Arihane Institute)
"So you are from Japan." Doom noted. "Which reality are you from?"
"You means... possibilities?"
"Possibilities?"
"Yeah. Tobio- um, Omnis (*7) led us magical girls to fight demons and save-"
Doctor Doom is confused at the mention of Omnis, having never met the Omnispheres (*8) ever. So he threatened Iroha to tell him about her Omnis. "Tell me or you will be-"
"Ok-ok-ok! I'll tell you about him!"
Iroha was about to explain who Tobio Hakari (量とびお) and as Omnis is. However, a blue magical girl rushed to the scene.
"Iroha!"
"Kaorin! This is Mr. Doom! He seems... so powerful!"
Kaorin Tomonaga (朝永花織). "Iroha? He's... Doom?"/"いろは？あれ...ドクター・ドゥーム?" (Name: Kaori Tomonaga, Note: Iroha calls her "Kaorin")
Iroha nodded, and then proceeded to explain who Omnis is. (*7) (*8) So Doom freed Iroha as promised.
"Kaorin! He's being noble! A good friend, as well!" Iroha then hugged Kaorin, as now Doom allowed her to get on her. "Also, you're still kicking strong!"
"Iroha... ummm..." Kaorin then looked at Doom. "My name is Kaori Tomonaga."/"私の名前は朝永花織りです"
Much to the confusion of the Loopers, Doctor Doom defended the two... since they didn't mean any harm whatsoever. However, said confusion stems from the fact that neither Iroha nor Kaori were ever in the Island prior to this incident.
"Kaorin, we're finding others, including Omnis!"
"Iroha, what's this place?"
At the same, both the mothership and other magical girls of Iroha's team has arrived.
"Look! It's the CXA!" The Loopers noticed.
"I feel like... we and Omnis..." Kaori recalled. (*9)

Not long after...
"We need to meet Tony Stark! The Iron Man!" Hope's Canon Bringer declared.
Doom noticed, and is a bit disgusted. But the Canon Bringers didn't care, for..."
"And you too, Doom. For you too are in danger." Hope's Canon Bringer crossed the paths.
"You... work for the resistance? Heroes?" Doom caught on.
"We are of the CXA, and we protect existence itself." Hope's Canon Bringer proclaimed, following the other Canon Bringers. "Come on, we need to work together."
"Doom." Hope glared at the supervillain, recalling her prophecy.

"Huh. Seems like a single out-of-context trash can derail an entire prophecy." Hope shrugged. "Also... these girls are magical?"
"Hi there, Miss... Hopu." (*10) The girls except Hanabi and Marianne, greeted.
"Uh... w-w-w-why did you... not speak your name like... J-J-Japanese? Yours... sounded English." Marianne noticed.

"The CXA!" Cocoa got it. "Thank you! Can we tag along! We will help you fight back whatever is on the horizon!" (Name: Cocoa Yuwase, Note: She had to replace her late mother and take care of her two brothers... Not that she's depressed though!)
"Alright, Cocoa! And also... where's Omnis? Tobio?" Iroha replied.
"Yes, but beware of Darkbolts!" Arak warned the girls. "They want to raze the omniverse and end us all. They threatens our very existence from the get go! I told you that I was brainwashed into serving the Darkbolts. I was secretly horrified. The CXA's teams freed me and my beloved, and we are hunting them back."
"Magicami, let me fix you..." Deadpool came by.
The Merc With a Mouth immediately snapped the girls' outfits, covered by a cartoonish ball of violence on them casted by Deadpool himself, and the result is them now in their streetwears but still transformed: the hair's and eyes are the same and still has the same accessories, Seira still has her tiara, Ao still has her knight helmet, Lilly's hair tie is still actually tie (and not rose-themed), Marianne still has her hat but with her bangs down, Iko got her glasses, and Akisa, Eliza and Hanabi still has their respective hats as well.
"Huh." Lily squinted. (Lily Pilgrim note: It really make sense in context... yeah.)
"Do it in style, girls!" Deadpool exclaimed.
"Why?" Seira is confused.
"Uh... ok. We are used to the dresses. So we can still make do." Iroha accepted.

"Exactly, that's why I changed for you. And also, we're saving the days with flying colors! So come on!" Deadpool responded. "Also, dresses doesn't seem to directly hinder your combat capabilities!"
"Fine." All those magical girls except Iroha, Cocoa and Marianne.
The Loopers laughed at the hilarity that was resulted from. Meanwhile, Aka is still aroused.
"The Darkbolts are trying to get us wiped down and annihilated. They are also terrorizing all of existence." Ms. Continuum came to explain the situation. "The Darkbolts' madness were catalyst to the founding of CXA, which surprise surprise, my other form are a mascot of. And well... Darkbolts are coming with a vengeance. Vengeance against an existential array that defied them. Now it's led by a rumored king, who's confirmed to be an Exo."
"Exo?" Doom has no idea what an Exo is.
"Exo?" Kaori have no idea either.
"Ok then. Get to the mothership while we talk to Mr. Stark."
The Canon Bringers went to The Other Windmill - one of the windmills existing in the "Helios". But instead of meeting the Tony Stark of Reality-616 like they expected, they found...
"Aigis? Metis?"/"アイギス？メティス?"
Two Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapons (対シャドウ特別制圧兵装, *14). One of them is the last of the 7th generation, and the other is her true Shadow - of her previously repressed emotions. (*15)
"What are you doing here? And where's Mr. Stark?" Hope's Canon Bringer questioned.
"Iron Man? You're finding that man?" The blonde one spoke up.
"Hmph." The black one with a collapsible visor scoffed. "You really seems to-"
"What!? But we're recruiting him!" Hope's Canon Bringer is baffled.
"What's wrong with you?" Another Canon Bringer suspected. "You're out of character, as far as we're aware of."
"You have to be kidding. Haven't you heard our warnings?" Metis dismissed.
Both grinned in front of the Canon Bringers.
"We need to talk!" Hope's Canon Bringer approached the two.
Metis simply swung her axe on that robot, forcing them to dodge.
"What're you doing!?" The Canon Bringers stepped back in disgust.
Cue Aigis gatling the cross-continuity robots, trying to take them down. Some nearby Loopers resisted tanking in front of the robot girl to build armored walls, allowing the Canon Bringers to retreat.
"You think you could block us off with that." Metis shredded the armored walls. "Simple. Wall!"
The two eliminated a few Loopers out of rage, and then immediately retreated by rushing out of sight.
That Aigis feels like... some Shadow of... Shit!
"Instead of Mr. Stark, we're sorry, but we instead found two out-of-characters." Hope's Canon Bringer reported. "Aigis and Metis acted violently. Aigis in particular reminded us of a... doppelganger."
"That's sus." The Warrior King heard it.
Starstorm gained Doctor Doom, the magical girls from a certain what-possibility reality that is their home multiverse, and a bunch of Doombots. All went back to the mothership.
"We got the notice from Shadows? As in suppressed minds given physical form?" Jones complained.
"Currently, we have no proof about any further relation between those kinds of Shadows and the Darkbolts themselves." Hope's Canon Bringer responded. "But given what we suspect how far would the Darkbolts go to win this war, we cannot rule anything meaningful out."
"So... we might be going to fight some Shadows then?" Deadpool heard it. "Huh. Have I seen my own repressed self before? Let me know-"
"Maybe, for Shadows. But we have no confirmation other than that the Shadows may be involved. If the Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapons are any indication." Hope's Canon Bringer then walked out to continue business.

In evening, the dinner happened. Again. Once again, Atheon strictly kept eating on a fixed pace and etiquette altogether, and picked on others' habits. But Hope's Canon Bringer is anxious about Iron Man and the Shadows.
"How many versions of me..." Jouji pondered. How many timelines must my current body has existed in? According to the CXA, there's a team known as Midnight Suns, from the Universe-Prime (*16), where I was not Kohtaro's son but is a main member. Then there's... oh no...
"In Hypertime, there's more than one Zero Point. Unlike everywhere else, where there's only one... Zero Point." A Canon Bringer in an adjacent seat read his mind themselves. "All your variants, spread across each and every one. Your timestream in particular were cleaned up so it wouldn't adversely affect others'. We purged your timeline so other timeline could revive and heal."
"The so-called Universe-Prime disappeared 3 days ago, according to my Time-Corridor scan I performed earlier." Atheon projected. "Someone has tampered with the reality, though there is barely any evidence flux I could process."
"It disappeared like into nothing." The Canon Bringer recalled. "We tried to contact the Midnight Suns to assist us, but they... didn't pick up."
"We couldn't recruit the Investigation Team or the Shadow Operatives either. We contacted them, but it's just... them saying out-of-characters stuffs, and then hanging up, rejecting us." The Canon Bringer recalled. "And we couldn't contact them again afterwards. Could this be..."
"Day 1. Both the Kirijo Group (*17) and the Investigation Team people rejected us, even though we contacted them. All the members spoke like doppelganger Shadows would." Hope's Canon Bringer recalled. "We tried to contact them again, but no response. Never even picked up to tell us anything. We weren't able to contact them since."
"Wait... I think we should get the holographic displays so we could check out." Ms. Continuum got an idea. "We might be able to catch any source of Shadows."
"Risky, but we have no choice." Hope's Canon Bringer reluctantly agreed. "Looks like there's no other way to know and seek the truth."
After dinner, everyone went back on, but this time, it's alongside the holographic displays.
"We've tested Midnight Channel (*18) on our holographs, and it actually works. Therefore, we pretty much can catch what's up." Ms. Continuum then went back to rest. "See you, maybe within the screen. Or Midnight Channel."
23:38 P.M. Doom is invited to Ivy Comet room.
"Mister Doom, it's now static!" Ivy Jolicoeur pointed out.
"The screen is advanced, but for some reason it is treated like... an ordinary television of my lifetime." Doom commented.
"Also, about the Aigis and Metis that the Canon Bringers met... what were they doing at Latveria?" Ivy Comet asked.

"Do you know that Persona 4's Investigation Team has crossed through BlazBlue people, the In-Births and Team RWBY? (*19) Those are cool fighting crossover, and there's more!" Deadpool told the Pechies.

2044!Pechy glares at the holographic display on the room, still static. She felt like an oncoming storm is coming from the display itself.
And soon enough, the static intensified, firing for the last minutes. And so, a certain bullshit is tuning in...
A scene of a bunch of colossal arenas (*20), each floating and shifted environments (*21) with audience behind the shifting and cheering for the deathmatches that's to happen there. These arenas are floating in the void between Hypertime and a discontinuity realm of non-existence dubbed Retconnian.
The strong win, while the weak disappear... Tonight, we will witness the hottest battles in all of existence... (*22) Salvation is waiting to descend upon the ring! P-1 fans (*22), are you ready?
It's a narrator seemingly voiced by Jack Black (*23) himself. But then!
"Are you ready!?" Rabid audience screamed.
ARE YOU READY!? The narrator declared.
The scene revealed the General Teddie (クマ総統) smoking, alongside a bunch of Doombots... the ones that were Taken... somehow.
Time to let loose... an all-out Crisis! General Teddie declared, raising his cane.
Sideways Rifts swarmed across, followed by a bunch of combatants. Among them are the Investigation Team, the expanded Shadow Operatives and the Phantom Thieves (*24), certain members of the Starstorm, Doctor Doom, and the Guardians, among others.
Then quickly, the scene shifted to showing a boy known as Yu Narukami (鳴上悠) fighting 2025!Pechy Comet.

An electric-charged P, (*22) followed by a human girl made of metal and colored diamonds all over, chasing and fighting against Doctor Doom in Pandora's armor himself.
Tonight, who will win the ultimate title of champion!? Who will be crowned with the last Victory Royale!? Whose tale of glory will resound all eternity!? (*22)
A bunch of combatants charging against each other, half of them are even surviving gods and Loopers, all within a single spotlight.
All that remains are the dreams and wishes of the warriors. As the Grand Prix plunges into its Final Shape, the P-1 Special is... (*22)
Cue the full logo: It's "P-1 Special", with the familiar calligraphed "P-1" and the glitching "SPECIAL" in Burbank font below, both in front of the gradient "SP" background. Then cut to General Teddie in front of the screen showing said logo on a Zero Point background...
"...bear-ly getting started!" General Teddie raised his cane again, with the set erupting in flames as a light show.
Commercial ends. 10-second countdown in the bloodied static. 10. 9. 8.
"What!?" The Pechies are baffled.
"How in the!?" Ivy and Ivy both shocked.
"Insolent!" Doom slammed.
Otoka was quick to slam onto Pechy Comet room. "Damnit! Darkbolts' pandering on us all! And-"
"It's the Midnight Channel again, laden with the Dark-" A Canon Bringer reported in rapid pace.
3. 2. 1. Zero.
Suddenly, all the holograms are turned off, and communication to the outside were completely cut off.
"-Hour and... no. No." The Canon Bringer realized.
"Shit! Now what!?" Hope's Canon Bringer approached.
Suddenly, all the light were turned off. At the same time, the Guardians suddenly felt emptied out, despite them being perfectly healthy.
"Crude." 2025!Pechy left the room and then lighted the surroundings up with her Dreamcatcher. "Guys?"
The Guardians found themselves Lightless and Unshaded. They could not light up with Solar, and they couldn't even glow their perspective or anything with Strand. They couldn't use any paracausal element anymore. Even their Ghosts collapsed.
"No! No!" The Hunter panicked.
"Our powers' gone!" The Warlock is shocked.
"We're trapped!" The MGCM girls have panicked.
"The mothership's inert! Find the commander!" The Canon Bringers spreaded out to locate Ms. Continuum.
Meanwhile...
Location: Future World
Future World, now assimilated into the Corridors of Time. However, up until this point, some buildings were relatively undamaged and still has some functional lights. However, at this moment, all lights were off.
Location: Nessus
The radiolaria in this planet started turning blood red, and the confluxes all darkened. The Vex there were going berserk.
"Operative... corrupted..." The Axis Minds in particular became the monsters, with their mechanical chassis getting corrupted into... Shadows.
Location: Reality-616
The sky suddenly turned pitch black, and all lights immediately went off all over the globe. A certain moon machine with eye opened to all the mortals to see.
"What's that?" All the residents of Reality-616 outdoors on the Earth looked up.
The machine glowed amidst the black of the atmosphere.
"T-this can't be real..."
"What the..."
"I was..."
"The hell's going on there?!"
And soon, all the muggles on the Earth of Reality-616 witnessed the forbidden 25th hour that shouldn't even exist in this reality: the Dark Hour.
"Look at the moon! It's glorious!"
"Ahhhhh!"
"My god... we're..."
"A prophecy from another... multiverse?"
"Yeah...rrrrr...!"
"It's the end of the world!"
"It's really there, everything is real!"
"It's real!"
The normal humans looked up in bliss and obsession, maniacally laughing. A few heroes there, too, got the same as well. And virtually all those laughing right there then splattered into a black sludge each of massive capacity. Laugh and scream, and at the end, almost everyone on Earth of Reality-616 died. The sludge ended up being Shadows, something even nerds there though were fictional and doesn't exist.
Those Shadows? Repressed fear of death and hopelessness of life, now forcibly supplanting virtually everyone on Earth.
Location: "Helios" Island, Battle Royale
"What's the!?"
The Loopers saw the sky turning pitch black. An eclipse suddenly appeared from above. A heavy blood red fog covered not just the entire Island, but the entire world altogether.
"No! No! No!"
The Loopers panicked.
The normal water turned blood red, sans the Styx River which is glowing Nitro orange instead.
"We're doomed! DOOMED!"
"Help!"
"Help us!"
Everyone panicked.
Location: Miss Continuum's mothership
"Krilly's just in coma!" Crota reassured. "Now... who in the tithes hijacked all time!?"
"I-I-I-ahhhhh. Simulations corrupted." Atheon suddenly had a seizure. "Oper...per...per..."
The Vex girl dropped down, coughing the now-blood radiolaria, wriggling from the effect of... something.
"Miss Conflux has seizure!" 2023!Pechy immediately reported. "Help!"
"What's up?" A Canon Bringer noticed.
All it took is a quick glance at Atheon is for them to go try aid.
Suddenly, CRT lines spilled through and phased through, running through the interior as well. The mothership is tunneling to the corrupted Midnight Channel. Slowly a rainbow filter effect pulsed alongside the fall.
"Not the Midnight Channel again!" Another Canon Bringer noticed.
"AAAAAAAAHHH!" Everyone panicked.
Everything just flash-tunneled as the mothership falls into the Midnight Channel. The Flashpoint decided to try to outrun the Midnight Channel, so he left the mothership by going beyond the speed of light, and then accelerated to infinite, to the inaccessible speed, stepping at immeasurable and finally leaving at an irrelevant velocity, just to be able to be effective enough to push the mothership out. But once he left out, he slipped before he could even attempt the grab despite he ran on the same direction as the mothership is falling, and so he fell off alongside the mothership.
The mainline unit of the CXA has fallen into the Midnight Channel.

"Ugh..." 2025!Pechy woke up.
"Yoo-hoo! All you P-1 crazies and newcomers out there, sorry about the long haul!"
2025!Pechy immediately got up and in shock. It was General Teddie.
She still has her Dreamcatcher, her wand and her stuffs. "Where am I?"
"Look." General Teddie blurted.
There's a graffiti sign saying "OSCAR WUZ HERE, WITCHCRAFT!". 2025!Pechy looked at it, and is baffled. That's about something Deadpool told her about mere minutes before the P-1 Special commercial aired.
"Hahahahaha! The P-1 Special... It's the end of all existence, supreme deathmatch that's worthy of the concept of 'special'!" General Teddie gleefully declared. "And if there's no winners within the hour, all realities will end! No punches pulled this time!"
"P-1? Grand Prix? Sounds like Persona 4 Arena stuff." 2025!Pechy recalled.
"...I'll make myself clear so that no one misunderstands." General Teddie went distorted in voice and yellow in eyes. "This will take place in the perfect combination of the TV world, the Metaverse (*26) and the reality which you occupy... Enjoy it while you can!"
"Shoot!" 2025!Pechy is shocked.
"Alllll righty! Time to show off how that special stage is going!" General Teddie back to normal.
2025!Pechy dressed herself like normally after the washing and brushing, which somehow was allowed freely so long as it's within some time limit. 2025!Pechy is prepped up, and it's time to go.

"Is that... my friends?!" 2025!Pechy is shocked.

"Hyaaaahahaha! What will be the fate of everyone you cared about!?" General Teddie dismissed. "Then again, if we don't have a champion, everyone's a goner anyway. So they'll all be in good company! Best of luck to all of you!"
The holograms changed to a strange, young girl in deep blue of the Velvet Room, with long silver hair.
"Are you... Lavenza of the Velvet Room?" 2025!Pechy noticed.
The holograms immediately turned out, and the alarm blared in blood red light. 2025!Pechy then left, and found herself in an equally strange area to the Middle-earth beach that she first found herself in (*27), but in red fog.
"A red fog... just like the Ultimax..." 2025!Pechy noticed. "Thanks, Mr. Wilson. But what should I do?"
Only the red fog illuminated the scenery, and there's no one there. Having gotten the infos from Deadpool the Merc, 2025!Pechy looked around and pushed some fog out with the light of her Dreamcatcher.
"Hello? Help!"
2025!Pechy didn't get any response.
This world was claimed to be a corruptive fusion of the Midnight Channel, the Metaverse and the real world of each realities, both real and fictional, all rolled into one. Something's exceedingly wrong, and 2025!Pechy can sense and feel it, but not comprehend it. It didn't help that she has relatively limited knowledge.
"Oh great." 2025!Pechy spotted a bloodied radiolaria, which is glowing a fluorescent red.
The Dreamcatcher princess quickly followed the traces of radiolaria with a dread on her sight. Meanwhile...

In the remains of the Last City - the current home of the Guardians - Ivy Comet and Ivy Jolicoeur together stepped out. The gateway behind was the Velvet Room, themed after a war room. Confused by the red fog...
"No... We cannot use Strand to contact anyone. The lights are all out too." Ivy Jolicoeur walked. "Only this strange red fog is lighting this place... and a red total eclipse too. Cannot tell between lunar and solar, though.
"Ivy, what in the stars are on?" Ivy Comet looked around. "Midnight Channel... Metaverse (*26)... What is this?"
"There's no one around... So are we stuck together in this old tower and town?" Ivy Jolicoeur is horrified. "Is this the end of us... again?"
"How about..." Ivy Comet pointed to a direction.
It's a way painted by Nitro, a substance of empowerment and heat. According to Jones, the Wasteland Warriors were behind the distribution, with their mechanist being the one inventing the form of Nitro used in summer 2024.
"I think those substance being spilled... gives us the way to go to wherever we should go." Ivy Comet pointed it out. "20 years before my time, there was those substance in the game Fortnite. Now you know."
"Hmmm? Ivy, we're flowing with the Nitro?" Ivy Jolicoeur is surprised. "Could that be the way out?"
"Somebody's bound to arrive at a checkpoint by now!" Ivy Comet rushed, having her past identity following her. "I cannot ignore Queen Crystal or Master Void either. We have to find them! And Smith, Clover and Clarie!"
"Ohhh, I see!" Ivy Jolicoeur got it. "Then maybe Mr. Void and Ms. Crystal are on the checkpoint!"
"Sorry, but his name is Lucifer." Ivy Comet shook her head. "Still... What's up with the Midnight Channel? It should've stayed exactly at midnight. Not a couple of minutes earlier. Oh, that countdown too, very suspicious."
"It's a good thing we were seeing the display! If we missed it, our multiverse could have ended without us even knowing!" Ivy Jolicoeur got it.
"No, we're not the Investigation Team." Ivy Comet shrugged.
Both Ivies then recalled the project of the remaining 2025 friends and co. being crucified, as well as a tall woman in deep blue.
"Was the stuffs even real though?" Ivy Comet pondered. "And who is that woman?"
"Hurry up, Ivy! We've got multiverses to save!" Ivy Jolicoeur rushed.
The two then rushed along the Nitro splatters. However, the further they went, the thicker the fog got. Even worse, beyond those fog seemed to be distorted, just like the TV world neither are familiar with.
"This place seems real, and yet..." Ivy Comet briefly for fuzzied. "Ugh... keep moving. We have to go... fast... Argh..."
"Ivy, the fog is so thick... look down at the Nitro." Ivy Jolicoeur looked down to the ground.
"This realm is so messed up." Ivy Comet looked down.
Suddenly, through the power of the Unity light, Ivy Comet sprinted to the massive and dense fog, pulling her past identity along.
"Ivy, haven't you told me- hmmm?" Ivy Jolicoeur noticed.
The Ivies have arrived at...
Location: Gravity Falls
BGM stops.
"This must be... Gravity Falls!" They noticed.
A high-school boy in a black uniform with black hair and a glasses rushed to the scene.
"Uh, hi there. Nice to meet you."
"Um... hi." Ivy Jolicoeur greeted.
"I am Ivy Comet. And this is Ivy Jolicoeur, my past life." Ivy Comet introduced. "We're from the future, specifically 2044. Who are you, and where and when did you come from?"
"Ren Amamiya."/"雨宮蓮です" The boy introduced himself.
"Uh... Well, I don't feel well because of-" Ivy Jolicoeur suspected.
"You're the Joker of the Phantom Thieves of Hearts, from a game from 2016, Persona 5?" Ivy Comet got the fourth wall pieces from certain files at CXA yesterday.
"Yeah, you guessed that right." Ren confirmed.
"I got your infos from the Continuum Exploitation Authority." Ivy Comet added. "Nice to meet you. But what's up?"
Ren chuckled. "What a worthless duo. You belong to the landfills, like all foolish tyrants who opposed us!"
"Huh?" Ivy Comet noticed.
A trickster, out-of-character. Ren desires to help other, and with a rebellious will of his. But here, he's smirking and being very rude. He just insulted both Ivies.
This is not Mr. Joker. That is a Shadow trying to trick you into trusting him.
"What?" Ivy Comet noticed.
"Yeah. I don't feel safe." Ivy Jolicoeur shook her head.
The 'Ren' here smirked in a totally evil way. Ivy Comet finally got the suspicion that this Ren is not actually real, but is rather either a Shadow self - twisted Jungian archetypal mirror entities of the person they represent - or an outright doppelganger Shadow.
Ren transformed through Shadow burst of energy into what would be the real alter ego, codenamed "Joker". A phantom thief in black plus red gloves, a knife and a handgun, and wearing that typical mask which Ivy Comet barely recognized. However, he has... glowing golden eyes.
"Oh shit!" Ivy Comet realized.
"Hahahaha... HAHAHAHA! It's too late, fools!" It's Shadow Joker! "Now... bring on the ring!"
Shadow Joker got the echo typical for a Shadow self.
Suddenly, the area got calcified into a massive fighting ring, with glitches blocking off any escape.
"Great!" Ivy Comet pointed herself. "Unity! On!"
Ivy Comet immediately assumed her Unity form, and immediately pulled out a sword from a small portal. This sword was bequeathed by the combined power of the United Crystal, giving it spatiotemporal abilities and so on. The blade is vibrating with the speed of light which should be able to cut through anything. Meanwhile, Ivy Jolicoeur saw her necklace (not exactly a pendant, but looks very similar) glowing. Now she's got the powers of dreams and Smash like the adoptive mother of theirs, and that's also on top of the paracausality being reactivated. And complete with the 2044 Dreamcatcher on their side.
"Dreams... Warrior... Paracausal... Now I can feel it!" Ivy Jolicoeur looked at the powers that awakened.
Ivy Comet took the blade because it should be cutting anything open, portal or not. So she rushed to the invisible wall that she sensed, and tried to pierce onto the calciforms below or the landscape that's calcified and spliced. But the invisible wall knocked against the blade and weren't affected, and no portal were created.
"We're stuck! We've no choice but to fight that one!" Ivy Comet went back.
"Hmmm? Didn't you know, did you?" General Teddie appeared as a projection. "This is the P-1, so obviously the rule is that: only the winners can move on."
"P-1, your ass!" Ivy Comet mocked General Teddie.
"Now... It's about to begin! The first wave of the P-1 Special! Is everyone ready!?" General Teddie declared.
Fight the Shadow! I'm waiting for you to rescue me. And I advise you not to listen to the false-
"What're you talking about?" General Teddie interrupted. "You're such a brat and a nerd, Ivy and Ivy. It doesn't matter who I am!"
"What about Smashing LIGHT? Warriors' dream turned power? We-" Ivy Jolicoeur finally smirked, as she's just forced into combat.
"Continue yapping around for too long, and you'll lose your life rather quickly." General Teddie threatened the Ivies with a distorted echo.
"I feel I'm going to accept the combat." Ivy Jolicoeur chuckled. "Ivy, about time we raze-"
"Jolicoeur, watch out!" Ivy Comet noticed.
Both evaded gunshot from Shadow Joker, and got up.
"What do you want with my Ivy?" Ivy Jolicoeur called Shadow Joker out.
"There's only one thing that happens in the P-1..." Shadow Joker grinned. "So hurry up, foolish victims of mine! Combat me already! I'll destroy you both either way! You won't see it coming!"
"Is that really Joker? The Phantom?" Ivy Comet groaned.
"Ahh, fine! Ivy and Ivy, no need to worry then." General Teddie came back. "What you're looking at now isn't the Joker."
Wait... so we were right? It's a Shadow? A fake? Manufactured Shadow selves? Ivy Comet noticed.
"It's a complete fake that I made! So now that there's no need to hold back..." General Teddie reassured. "...destroy it! Go fight it!"
"A fake?" Ivy Jolicoeur. "Then I was right then. Sorry for the suspicion."
"That's right! What really draws in the crowds at a fighting tournament are chaotic, intense, neck-and-neck battles!" General Teddie added. "So the supreme General Teddie went to the trouble of ginning up Shadows to settle things with you guys!"
Both Ivies shifted their suspicions to General Teddie, who claimed to have made Shadow doppelgangers like in P-1 Climax (*28) from 2012.
Shadow Joker reloaded the handgun. General Teddie disappeared.
"You seems like high quality... for a true counterfeit." Ivy Comet commented.
"Of course I am high quality." Shadow Joker with the same echo from moment prior. "I was born from humanity's and gods' data. My skills are the same as the original... In fact, they are superior."
Shadow Joker smirked. "Or are you incapable of doing anything meaningful by yourself, Dreamcatcher Crystal Reincarnate and Cross-Dimensional Guardian Angel?"
"Where did you get those names from?" Ivy Comet heard it.
Alright! You, Ivy Comet... Dreamcatcher Crystal Reincarnate, because you were reincarnated into your own clone. And you, Ivy Jolicoeur... since you're now a guardian angel in a reincarnated body, you are too be known as... Cross-Dimensional Guardian Angel!
General Teddie explained the title of the two Ivies, much to their chargin.
"I get it. Hey, false Joker!" Ivy Comet called Shadow Joker. "Since we know you're a fake, we will kill you. No more holding back. You're dead and dusted!"
Shadow Joker let out a psychotic laugh. "You'll regret defying me, the Phantom Thief of Hearts! HAHAHAHAHA! Persona!"
Arsene, the persona of Joker. A gentleman demon with devil wings and formal black suit, with a hat. It is he, floating over Shadow Joker.
"A Persona! I get it." Ivy Comet noticed. "Now we're on P-1. The rules has it that only the winners can leave!"
"I'll take it. Ivy, we have one chance and in 2v1." Ivy Jolicoeur holds the power of dreams, akin to Pechy Comet, Ivy Comet's adoptive daughter. "Dreamcatcher Warrior, at your service!"

Note: Quite a lot is unpacked in this chapter. I'm excited to see the whole thing snowball in a planned way. Goodbye, World of Dissidia.
Starting up is Doctor Doom of Reality-616. He was confirmed to be the Wanderer, playing has Moros, embodiment of doom. Now, with the whole "Absolute Doom" derailed by Darkbolts' machinations, he instead meets the girls from Magicami (MGCM, 2019) and the CXA is seeking help from Iron Man himself. He should be in the Other Windmill, but he disappeared. 2025!Pechy already got her Penny back, but more on her and friends and Ivy later. The MGCM girls are shown transformed, and they're to stay this way to survive, but Deadpool changed them to their streetwears without breaking their transformation (their streetwears were originally shown on the girls' civilian form) citing the style, which the Loopers laughed at for the hilarity. In TV Tropes' terms, it makes sense in context. Next, the Canon Bringers went to find Tony Stark himself, but they instead met out-of-characters of Aigis and Metis from Persona 3. For some reason in-universe but for my own writing out-of-universe, it's hinting towards a new P-1. Suspicions arose, and rightly so, especially since Aigis seemed to be closer to her Shadow-equivalent from Persona 4 Arena Ultimax than literally herself, while Metis is even ruder than she was when she first met the S.E.E.S. during "The Answer". (Metis is technically Aigis' true Shadow self, by the way)
In dinner, we have Jouji Minami and the knowledge of the Midnight Suns by Multiverse Learner 101. Midnight Suns and the DCMK Universe-Prime in general, because a Jouji are a major member, meant that Kohtaro's son are worried. It doesn't help that as Atheon casually revealed, the Midnight Suns disappeared roughly on the 2nd day of the Darkbolts' return. Then it shifted to the case of the P-1, what with the Shadow Operatives and the Investigation Team are somehow involved in. This time, they are not the only ones: there will also be the Phantom Thieves of Hearts (Persona 5) and those from Keystone Scramble shenanigans (BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle), plus extras from Fortnite and Destiny. And so on... Of course, the P-1 involves the Midnight Channel, though every cases after the original Grand Prix version got combined with stuffs beyond just the TV world: P-1 Climax combined the Dark Hour with the Midnight; Keystone Scramble tournaments shoved the P-1 into the fray (courtesy of System No. XX); Cross Edition is somehow rigged thanks to the Zerobreaker's machinations; etc.
P-1 Special is to P-1 Climax what P-1 Cross Edition was to the P-1 Grand Prix, as shown with the commercial and confrontations. The commercial alone is a recreation of the P-1 Climax one, just like the Cross Edition commercial has reimagined the original P-1 commercial. There would also be the return of most participants of previous editions, along with many newcomers. But since this is the "Tales of four Pechies", there's no way I'm going to cover all the fights (also, needed conservation of details, for both my time and sanity), but instead focus on Pechy and Ivy and the happenstances around P-1. Anyways, the countdown being the commercial is very similar to the one capping the P-1 Climax commercial, and even shuts down much electronics... This time that also for that moment, shut down paracausality, leaving the Guardians both Lightless and Unshaded. Remember Soyle? Her Darkness were now inert on top of losing her Ghost, so she could no longer use paracausality by herself anymore; now it happened to the actual Guardians that Destiny guys would play. Lightless Guardians (like Osiris and later Zavala) ended up telling on Darkness, but the Unshaded are inert and thus would not be able to use any Darkness powers (Stasis, Deepsight, Strand, etc.) at all. And Strand glows green through glowing threads of the Weave, but Unshaded ones cannot use it and thus cannot illuminate anywhere or light up their vision with it, and Lightless ones don't have Solar flame to use. I'm pleased to use my research to make writing useful and accurate for what's the situation, real or fiction. Also, while the Dreamcatcher alone wouldn't be able to become dangerous to the likes of the Second Knife, the Guardians would.
The aftermath of the commercial is the extended reimagining of the rest of that cutscene. Like in Ultimax, all electronic lights go out. There's red fog. But it's expanded, and now we get the Vex going haywire, with the radiolaria turning blood red just like water in Dark Hour (also helps explain why Atheon would suddenly have a seizure). A recreation of the scene from the Persona 3 fourth movie, where the humans on Earth (Reality-616 in fic's case) grazing the Fall (滅び) and being forcibly converted to death and into Shadows through the fear of death. And the Styx River in the Dark Hour becomes the same colouring as Nitro itself (makes sense since the Pandora's Box energy comprised both). Skies become pitch-black with little luminance over below. Elements of the original Persona 4 Arena are there as well, with the tunneling to the Midnight Channel being the corrupted version thereof, and the effect, too. (Cleverly as I put, the Barry Allen of Flashpoint tried to grab the mothership during the fall, intending to push it out and against the tunneling, but he underestimated the power (in spite of him using the speed to be able to push the massive mothership falling down even at light speed) and so he fell out. Bummer for him.
And finally, the P-1 itself. Pechy and Ivy all in unfamiliar places for them, only knowing these from infodumps. Pechy is in the Oscar coliseum from Fanfictiasia (specifically the Super-Bowl-Trilogy!), and is woken up very similarly. Ivy and Ivy are in the remains of the Last City collapsed from the effects of the Dark Hour. All got the Velvet Room which all assumes the form of a war room, similar to what the CXA have in each of their motherships. Of course, I revealed the 2025 friends within the holograms there, evoking the scene of crucified Mitsuru and S.E.E.S. from Ultimax. I'm on the "Tales of four Pechies", so the next chapters will focus mainly on Pechy and Ivy (both of Comet familia), trying to save the remaining 2025 friends (Earla and Akia already survived the Corridors of Time, Penny was Taken and had to be defeated). Ivy and Ivy, in particular, is going to fight the Shadow Joker - actually the false Shadow and a doppelganger of the Persona 5 (2016) protagonist - to survive P-1 and likely help Pechy locate and save the 2025 friends. Also, similar to P-1 Cross Edition taking influences from the original P-1, P-1 Special will take influences from the P-1 Climax, complete with some surprises on the oncoming chapters. (I challenge you: guess how the Ivies would defeat Shadow Joker and survive)
