Once upon a time, there was a rigged fighting tournament designed to Take all of existence from the inside out. But the resistance ended up causing it to go wayward, forcing the gods to improvise a way to quickly get the power sources. They succeeded in exploding all of the planes of existence that were all already painted by the red fog. There was nothing. Followed by everything. Swirling, burning specks of creation that circled life-giving suns. Gods from the dark created the light. The new light. Then there was 52 earths, each firmament cooled and they raised up lands - the world - and upon it they set up kingdoms of their designs, and inhabitants reimagined into perfection yet.
Realities lived. Realities died. Existence is no longer the same again... The omniverse was destroyed! The heroes of all realities were powerless to save it! Now, all that remains... is Battleworld 52! A massive, patchwork multiverse composed of the fragments of realities and timestreams that no longer exist, maintained by the iron will of its gods and masters, of the glorious Darkbolts! Each region is a domain unto itself!
Location: Absolute Pantheon. The Island's Greek Pantheon fused with the overgrown MEGA City, with the jungle based on the Reality Falls, a Buddhist temple partially renovated by the Norse mythology, and a shrine that used to be the Gyre apartment. (*1) All in Doomgard, a reimagined Asgard.
"Nyx, don't you see it?" An armored All-Father spoke up.
Nyx, the maternal lunacy from Tatsumi Port (*2), stands before a massive, open jar on the ground, containing auto-filling Pandora's Box plumes.
"This is a test." The All-Father explained. "Which is fitting. For gods measure us in some way or another."
Nyx is about to dunno her right hand - still covered in sleeve from the female's Gekkoukan High uniform - onto the jar.
"This day, here and now? The test is yours." The All-Father continued. "Step forward and seek their favor."
Nyx dunks her right arm into the jar.
"They filled this specifically-designed jar with the power of the superior Pandora's Box. It will turn the unworthy into madman and crazy evil, to be banished!" The All-Father continued. "But for those who are more... it is an awakening."
Nyx successfully resisted the corruption from the Pandora's Box, and pulled her right hand off. Her flesh is severely burnt, but it is still partially functional, and it is glowing.
"Aye, you have transcended. Reborn, reburn. Worthy." The All-Father applauded. "I am old, older than most - but even before my time, there is a legend of the two supreme powers - one of which you now wield. The other, I and my old friends used that to transport the energy, for you to embrace. Look at your hand! The power of the Pandora's Box is of evil. But it is also of hope."
Nyx looked at the newly-driven hand already ready to recover.
"There is many uses for the Pandora's Box, but it serves one purpose..." The All-Father declared.
"Justice!" The many - at least a few hundred - others raised their right hands which each were wrapped in adapted golden armor in one of their hands, mainly the main right hand.
"It has a purpose... just like you have a purpose." The All-Father revealed. "And we, the Cult of Hope, are law. Just as the All-Father intended."
"So what do I do now?" Nyx have no idea.
"Now you kneel in salute. For the gods are watching."
All kneeled down to a certain mural. And from now on until the end of all days, we all labor to keep their peace.
The mural contains an elaborate illustration of Omega Magnifico (the Magnificent; in center), the New Pandora (formerly the Zerobreaker; right to Magnifico), the Second Knife (left to Magnifico), the Great Leader of Shocker (right to New Pandora), the Task Force VII (right to Great Leader), Bill Cipher and Aku (both left to the Second Knife), a glowing mothercrystal (below them all), and finally, the Sankishin (三輝神) sharing the Divine Throne System tethered by Zero Point tendrils (above all else, on the sky). (*3)
"Welcome, fellow from Latverion-22! Welcome to the most noble of undertakings - there is no higher calling." Kurogane of Japan (*4) called.
"Yes. However, before the accruing of honor - before the glory - there is the change." Aledy Naash revealed. "Steady yourself, new light... It can be overwhelming."
"Aye, physical challenges to tax the body wherever it is needed, mental ones to challenge the mind." The All-Father noted. "It is no small thing becoming armed with hope. Especially if you come from humble beginnings... or from apparently nowhere."
"Where are you from?" Kurogane grabbed Nyx with his golden armored right hand.
"Uh... Tartarus." Nyx is coerced.
"Ah! So you were 'childhood' friends with the Extracurricular Empire!" Aledy got it. "Do you know what a Fall is?"
Nyx outright states everything about her own spirit and experience regarding the Dark Hour, the nature of the Fall, and how the S.E.E.S. (now Extracurricular Empire) managed to save everything in their homeworld from said prophecy.
"Very well, Death. Now entertain us." The All-Father nodded.
As the citizen of the multiverse engineered by Darkbolts now, Nyx recapped the legend of the creation of the Battleworld 52 (see the legend from way above)
"Yes, the kingdoms. And what kingdom have you been, other than your home kingdom of Tartarus?"
"Before here, I occasionally visited the New Imperial Japan." Nyx recalled. "I am here only for testing. Only this once."
"You know how to traverse between kingdoms. Between worlds." The All-Father explained. "The borders of each kingdom in each world are clearly defined. Traveling between them, and especially between worlds, are very often discouraged by requiring dispensation from the local baron. There's so many good reasons for this - some kingdoms are very violent."
Nyx and the All-Father went to the edge of Absolute Pantheon, sightseeing a cathedral that visibly used to be Verdansk, as well as Loot Islands flying around the kingdoms.
"Many kingdoms across many worlds - And there are those among our order who would say most - often crave the hope within the evil. al From our high and divine seat here in Absolute Pantheon, we allow no breaking of gods' laws." The All-Father continued. "Darkbolts demands obedience. They are harsh but fair - to please them is to obey. Tell me, do you want to please them, Death?"
"Yes." Nyx agreed, without any sign of resistance (showing that Nyx has been reshaped into no longer be able to question the Darkbolts like she previously did). "I will follow. I will please them."
"Well, then... this is Latverion-0, also known as the Prime Battleworld. And just like other worlds, there are sinners in it." All-Father concluded. "Let us do justice."
Location: Kingdom of Utopolis, Latverion-0. Formerly Trope Pantheon.
"Ok, we're here." Ken Amada (天田乾) and Koromaru (虎狼丸), arrived at the Wasteland - technically wasteland biome of the Battle Royale Island - formerly the Main House of the Trope Pantheon itself.
Ken is shown as a high-schooler (and 18 year old, not 11 or 13) in the actual male's Gekkoukan High uniform plus a bunch of gear-and-cog themed bracelets and S.E.E.S. shoulder pad, and zodiac symbols as runes inscribed throughout. Koromaru is just black and blue like his Persona, P3!Cerberus, as opposed to white like he originally was.
"I'm sure we've found some strange thing, Arche-Kala-Nemi." A researcher from Utopolis retorted. "But as soon as we started examining this shit, we suddenly got some dreams we thought were too strange for us. We needed to call in experts."
"Honestly, we didn't even know that something like that was down there until the earthquake and the storm uncovered it." Another researcher noted. "Apparently, the bodies of the forbidden dreams we were receiving has..."
"Not an earthquake." Ken shook his head. "Koromaru, let's go."
"Be careful, Arche-Kala-Nemi and Arche-Cerberus!" A goblin warned the two. "Once you go through, the gravity reverses!"
Ken and Koromaru jumped down to the crate, and found a new cave with the gravity reverses from the surface up.
Amada, that's right. Mitsuru Kirijo (桐条美鶴) called. This isn't an earthquake, based on Yamagishi's readings. We're not broadcasting, but we're mapping out the changes. Certain inhabitants of kingdoms, especially from different worlds, are obsessed with the contradictory theories about the origin of all. It's basically confirmation bias all over again.
"I know. You see, in actuality, there's an insurmountable evidence pointing to the multiverse being a composite... which naturally matches the description our gods gave us." Ken commented. "Anyways... Not sure if people can believe that those cannot be an earthquake. Something else must have been going on there."
The subatomic structures are already irregular on our blessed kingdom, as well as likely in where you are, Amada. However... Mitsuru added. You heard of the rumors? That some stuffs happened that left sudden dreams on those initial examination, which derailed the initial investigation?
"I'm seeing strange dreams trying to distract us." Ken reported. "Everyone, dig it out and check the readings!"
Location: Latverion-2. Formerly Fanfictasia.
"The All-Father is the god-king. Only few are above him." Somnus Prime - a recolored Optimus Prime with Noctis Lucis Caelum's voice and powers. "But the world, you know - the kingdoms - extend only from the great ocean in the northern hemisphere to the Wastelands in south. You Cult of Hope, in the precinct of Absolute Pantheon, lies adjacent to Themyscira the Hell (*5) and Cathe-Doom itself."
Location: Igarashi Neo-Shogunate. Formerly the World of Revice. (*6)
"Look now! Below us is Igarashi Neo-Shogunate. The impetus for today's justice!" Somnus Prime noticed. "Nearby is the Bar Sinister. Baron Ikki Igarashi and Master Vice, waits for us to deliver gods' justice."
Ikki Igarashi (五十嵐一輝) and his demon Vice stands looking to landscape, and gazed at Nyx and Somnus flying.
"I've been friends with the Extracurricular since I was as an Appraiser (*7), having transferred to Gekkoukan High in early November 2009. It was good times." Nyx recalled. "I was glad when I learned my dear and friends became barons and rules over Tartarus. Unfortunately, I could now be defeated - each of them seemed above the whims of others - like god-kings and queen-goddesses."
"Yes. To a peasant, a baron would surely seem a king. Just as to a baron, a long night seem a god." Somnus Prime commented. "For some, like us Autobot-Primes, this is a comfort. For others, less so."
As the two reaches the Vistamp (*8) castle...
"No small number of god's descents spend their days in the light of the last dream wish." Somnus continued. "Others fall outside their grace, but many... in fact, the majority live their lives in between. This, I believe, is the unrefined state of man. The beliefs of one putting them in conflict with another - kingdoms at war with other kingdoms, across different worlds."
Location: Bar Sinister. Same as Latverion original, only larger and assimilated the Fortress of Solitude.
"Just as the Deadmen looks up at baron Ikki, you looked up at your barons with adoration as each of them waved at you, and even have tea times with you. I tell you truly, others there in the crowd would have preferred to pull the likes of them down." Somnus Prime continued. "The envious forget to what station they are born. Their natural position chafes, and they brace to be something more.
Landing down at the former Fortress of Solitude, Somnus Prime bowed down to let give the way. At the same time, Shocker Rider Revi and Vice in Petra Genome (Faiz plus Pterodactyl) - Baron Ikki riding his demon as hoverbike-
Ptera Stamping Finish!
Revi jumps off of Vice Ptera Genome before dashing away at high speeds. A red projection of the Ptera Vistamp's seal then appears behind Vice before he generates blue energy blades similar to wings from his sides. Vice uses the energy blades to delivering a flying slash to a random space marine on the way, causing the target to be launched away and crash into a nearby building. Vice then delivers a second flying slash to another space marine, then flies behind them before spinning like a top and grinding against the opponent. Revi then appears while running on the side of a building with his accelerator still active before jumping off and kicking the third space marine, creating a large multicolored projection of the Ptera Vistamp's seal. All three were killed, but there was no complaint.
"It is a sickness, and we are but one of gods' cures." Somnus Prime confused. "Now, please enter."
"Move aside!" Revi whacked the fourth space marine. "We are guests of honor!"
"Please... no...!"
Stamp-by! Revi held that marine at gunpoint.
"I'm sorry. We're here for an errand." Nyx interfered. "Baron Ikki, please."
Revi cancelled the Ohinbuster50, and detransformed. "You're lucky, reckless marine. I was going to destroy you with all that and stuffs."
"Move aside!" Somnus commanded. "Make way for justice."
Nyx, Ikki and Vice entered the corner Fortress, where they met Dr. Nathaniel Essex, a.k.a. Mister Sinister. He's surrounded by a harem, formerly the Demon Hipster Chicks of Matthew Patel.
"Ah... Revice and the law." Sinister noticed. "How very trashy."
"Baron Sinister. In accordance with the will of your maker, you have been summoned to the Final Shape for the crime of discord." Nyx sicced.
"Are you sure you have the right man?" Sinister shoo the Demons away.
"I am. But one could resist if one were so inclined." Nyx refuted, calmly and politely. "The high court has been assembled to bear witness."
"Vice, the gods are waiting." Ikki called.
Vice wrote a message based from the Cult of Hope, the elite police force of Battleworld 52.
"Well... if I have an audience... then I'm inclined to give them a show." Sinister declared. "I will play the accused, and you will be my escorts. Shall we?"
"Very well..." Ikki agreed. "To the Final Shape..."
Cue the rift bringing Nyx, Revice duo and Sinister straight to...
Location: the Final Shape, Latverion-0. Formerly the kingdom of Rosas, it is a calcified ruins overgrown with Light and Dark, adjacent to the Cathe-Doom and Absolute Pantheon. A glistening palace placed within a crazy forest, it is marked by a massive, Vex-floating massive Reality Tree named the Yggadrasil (the world tree) and what used to be Cinderella Castle and San Fransokyo merged together into Pyramid perfection.
Where a drill god-sentinel with a world-eating face (*9) stands guard over the formerly so-called Cinderella Castle. Where the high court convenes. And where Omega Magnifico himself sits in judgement on his throne, the root of Yggadrasil.
"Welcome." An array (army but not?) of Bills greeted.
King Magnifico - no, Omega Magnifico - sits on the throne, with a glowing western meadowlark (*10) on his shoulder. Accompanying him and the Bills are New Pandora, the Arch-Titan, the Godhunter, Shocker Rider Decade (Tsukasa Kadoya), Eris Morn of the Prismatic Fleet, and Axel Asher, a.k.a. Access. The All-Father is also present.
"As ordered:" Nyx called. "The accused."
"Baron Sinister..." The Aku-Bill came forward. "As Sheriff of Neo-Euclydia, I serve as the right hand of the glorious Darkbolts - the irrevocable voice - and the arbiter of this preceding."
"As such, unless there is... true divine intervention, our judgement will be final. We are the law." All the Bills declared in unison.
"You have been charged with discord by Igarashi Neo-Shogunate." Arch-Titan reported. "We have been presented with evidence showing you have secretly and illegally aligned yourself with Matome Mayonaka, the baroness of Akihabara of Latverion-11, in opposition to Igarashi of Latverion-2."
"Laughable." Sinister smirked.
"And you are in violation of all known border treaties by supplying illegally-distributed Supply Drops-" (*11)
"Sheriff and co., this is an absurd accusation." Sinister rebutted. "Beyond the fact that I have no desire to engage in some great game of intrigue... there is another problem with this story: the House of Heroes, theirs' moon, has rejected my process."
"We know that you hired the House of Light and Salvation (*12) as couriers, Sinister." Ikki recalled. "My sister and fellow baroness, Sakura, reported to me about it."
"Lies, and even if they aren't, you couldn't prove it." Sinister dismissed. "Are there any other charges?"
"Is this formality... always has been?" Nyx questioned.
"Within the borders of each kingdoms, and the space between worlds." The All-Father noted. "As long as the resolute laws of Darkbolts are followed, they permits each baron or baroness complete control of their province."
Nyx nodded.
"Sometimes skirmishes are resolved so amicably that formal alliances are formed, like those between Japan of Latverion-0 and Tartarus. Often they are settled unevenly - there are winners and losers at the court of the Last Dream Wish, such as former baron Heihachi Mishima, unseated and contained by the previously absent baron Lars Alexandersson, a former vice baron." The All-Father explained. "And then there are the conquered. The Honkai Herrschers (*13) all once has their own kingdoms in Latverion-43, now they bend their knee to the baroness K-423, the Herrscher of Finality. You asked me if it is always this formal. Yes, it is... until it's not."
"And the final charge..." Aku-Bill continued.
"All of this is decided by the sheriff, Bill Cipher and his formerly multiversal army." The All-Father continued. "As he stated earlier... he will decide their guilt or innocence and determine their sentence. There's also turnabout trials for ridiculous cases, settled with the help of the baron Phoenix Wright and vice baron Miles Edgeworth."
"Words have meaning, and you have also been accused of libel, my lord." Aku-Bill added.
"Oh, that." Sinister noticed. "All I said was those Deadman are a pain in the ass."
"You spoke that in front of innocent childrens!" Ikki objected.
"Deadmen? Well, that's even worse, isn't it?" Sinister smirked.
"Truth is sometimes a malleable thing. Justice, on the other hand..." Aku-Bill has decided. "We have measured the evidence provided against your... rather predictable denials, baron, and I find you... GUILTY!"
"You will pay restitution, or else we will execute you." New Pandora threatened Sinister. "You pay either in monetary or territory."
"I think not." Sinister dismissed.
"Excuse me!?" Aku-Bill is baffled.
"I said: I think not." Sinister dismissed. "I choose to meet my accuser in the arena. As a baron, this is a luxury afforded to me."
Sinister pointed at Ikki, much to Vice's shock. "It is the law, baron Ikki!"
"I will gladly take up ar-" Ikki responded.
"I wasn't speaking to you, baron... but your lord assistant." Sinister pointed at someone who arrived late. "The vice baron."
George Karizaki (ジョージ・狩崎), the vice baron of Igarashi Neo-Shogunate, is shocked. "What!?"
"Or would you rather return to the fields of Giff, master?" Sinister threatened. "Milk more cows."
"No! Why are you!?" George objected.
"Karizaki! You're late!" Vice noticed.
"I will fight you! The Riders will condemn you for not taking the whole thing seriously!" George is pissed.
Juuga Driver!
"Mister Sinister... You've crossed the line!" George pulled up the Vistamp of his.
"Oh hell no!" The All-Father noticed.
New Pandora facepalmed.
Scramble! Ten kinds of genes! Strong will! Explode! Roar! Transcend! Kamen Rider Juuga! Go over. (スクランブル！十種の遺伝子！強き志！爆ぜろ！吠えろ！超越せよ！仮面ライダージュウガ！ Go over.)
"Oi! You want a brawl?" Kyon - Next Decade - has returned, this time as Shocker Rider... and a baron.
"Yes!" Shocker Rider Juuga.
Cue Aurora Curtain swallowing Next Decade, Juuga and Sinister.
"Let them fight." The Bills agreed.
Location: Oscar's arena, Latverion-2
"Fight!" The audience cheered on.
"There's no denying that you're a tough chimera man, Master Karizaki." Sinister commented. "Like, look at that armor and energy surges. You can destroy me with a good finisher."
"Let's just say... I'm superior!" Juuga declared.
"Well, now you've gone and made me curious." Sinister charged.
Cue Juuga tearing Sinister's head off his body.
"Juuga! Juuga! Juuga!" The audience cheered.
Oscar, the baron of this arena, is still bored. That is because...
"Consider my thirst..." Sinister isn't dead.
"Karizaki, look out!" Daiji Igarashi (五十嵐大二), a.k.a. Shocker Rider Live.
"...for curiosity... quenched!"
Cue Sinister kick the Juuga Driver, causing it to malfunction. This forced Juuga to detransform.
"Argh!" George is knocked down.
Sinister reattaches his head, and used the human-sized Giga Battlenizer (*14) to smash George's skull, killing him. And then a few more strikes to overkill this (*15), but then suddenly...
-*time rewind*
"All of you... on your knees."
Magnifico has arrived. The audience kneeled, and even Oscar the golden baron, too kneeled.
"Infinite apologies." Oscar bowed down.
The Igarashi sibling-barons, George and Sinister were rifted back to the court in the Final Shape.
Location: the Final Shape, Latverion-0
"We care little for your petty disagreements. Yet I, Magnifico, has saved you, George Karizaki." The omnipotent Exo revealed. "The baron Kyon has sent you to the Academy Awards' arena over this matter?"
"I knew. I spoke up." George confessed.
"So... did you that when you faced the confession, there is a chant from the audience... is it 'Juuga'?"
"I'm sorry... I only knew to fight... I didn't meant any interruption, but Sinister targeted me-"
"Even so, if one is given full dominion over a kingdom, is not that kingdom - all of it - his domain?" Magnifico commented. "So I must ask: If you see nothing, if you say nothing, if you do nothing... what good are you? I find you at fault-"
"I am sorry for not warning Karizaki earlier." Sakura bowed down. "I should've known Sinister may have been at fault from the start. I did detect irregular activities from the unified House... (*12) and we let that go out of control."
"Due to the commotion and lack of civility, I propose that both baron Sinister and the entire Igarashi Neo-Shogunate guilty!" Aku-Bill suggested.
THOOM! "Very well... pull the two entire houses down! For the discord has escalated into forced and actual betrayal, a cancer that cannot be allowed to remain! Dissolve the Bar Sinister and the Igarashi Neo-Shogunate! Both sides are too be publicly-"
"Magnifico. Mercy."
A woman with long and braided black hair, a Brainiac crown and a crystalline dress akin to both the queens in general and the Goddess of Rift in general.
"Yes, Amaya." Magnifico relented. "Of course."
"Oh shoot." Sinister is screwed.
"The lord Karizaki is elevated to baron! He had no intent on causing unwanted discord among kingdoms, unlike baron Sinister!" Magnifico declared. "Furthermore, I order baron Sinister to be publicly executed in tonight's oncoming Midnight Festival!"
Nyx arrests Sinister. "Aye, All-Father!"
"No! No! NO!" Sinister tried to flee.
Nyx overwhelmed Sinister with death... infused by Pandora's Box energy. "The law has come."
Sinister is rendered unconscious, while the Igarashi siblings hugged George in relief.
"The mercy is for the innocent. But you have been warned." Magnifico spoke, as Sinister is rifted away. "Be careful, Igarashi Neo-Shogunate. You are fortunate this time, but there will be others. Akihabara of Latverion-11, among them."
The trial is done. But Queen Amaya has something to ask.
"May you speak to Arche-Kala-Nemi and Arche-Cerberus?"
A while later...
"Ok, so about the strange dreamy phenomenon from within the Wasteland, we've been able to confirm that all of them are well within the possibility, both old and new." Ken reported. "Our reports so far disproves the initial theory about the phenomenon coming from an actual earthquake. Rather, it appears to be... arising. Analysis then slowly verges on what you guys - and the law of all - calls impossible. Possibly heretic, of the entity responsible, of course."
"What? Did you ask our permission to examine that kind of phenomenon?" The Great Warlock questioned. "If not, then-"
"As the carbon and aether readings of the crater and cave puts it's age somewhere well before creatio-" Ken explained-
"Enough, Arche-Kala-Nemi." The Great Warlock refused. "If true... this is schism. We'll send our Prismatic Fleet to seal off the site until it's covered up, and you will reveal all the researchers there - suspending all research activities immediately. We're invoking... a quarantine."
Location: the Shield, Latverion-0. Ben Grimms was calcified into a 250 miles (400km) tall and 15,900 miles (25,600km) long wall.
Standing there is Shayura the Warlock, from the Second Knife's timeline. Her memories about the Darkbolts were restored precisely because she interacted with the dreamy chasm Ken and Koromaru recently examined. Alongside is two women: Yukari Takeba (岳羽ゆかり) with Io (her initial Persona)'s pink dress and Hathor' headdress, and wielding a bow themed after Isis (her evolved Persona); Mitsuru Kirijo with her own white fur coat on top of the dress of Artemisia (her evolved Persona) and equipped with Penthesilea (her initial Persona)'s rapier and mask, both frozen and her wrist is cold freeze too.
"Takeba! Kirijo! What have you DONE!?" Shayura is losing it.
"You've interacted with the strange phenomenon. It drove you crazy." Yukari restrains Shayura. "You no longer fit in either the embrace of gods' light in public, nor any trial of justice."
"Takeba, it's about time." Mitsuru called. "Also, keep her in check. If she get free, she might bombard us with Threadlings. We know how annoying it and the Void Bombs can be."
"There are no greatness above reproach, just gods and their false whims to which we are forced mercy!" Shayura mocked the Darkbolts' rule.
"I'm sorry... But it's time." Mitsuru concluded. "Any last words?"
"The end is already nigh!" Shayura jumped down to the dark side of the Shield out of spite. "See ya, manipulated operatives!"
"Yeah... she's gone insane." Yukari commented. "I'm glad we managed to keep her down by ourselves."
"Takeba, let's go." Mitsuru spawned two Sparrows, using Shadows. "Take the ride. Report to the Cult of Hope. It is done."
The two rides their Sparrows out.
Location: Hollow Forest. The expanded version of the original by Marie, assimilating the Infinite Forest (*16) and Kemonogami World and Backyard (*17). The place is a semi-automatic labyrinth of worlds' trash, cannot be chopped down, and swirls through infinite timelines - previously of the timestreams of the greater omniverse - to be perverted by the Darkbolts. It also contained several graveyards of all those and variants that were erased from existence.
Shayura groaned, and went to move. She can barely recognize this forest at all. And then, a bunch of hooligans - formerly enlarged LEGO minifigures.
"Shayura! What do you want!?" The minifigures called.
Elsewhere, in the same forest, there's a gathering of all the surviving banished. Of which, the minifigures are parts for. Makoto Yuuki (結城理), Arche-Messiah, is another banished that survived, having "betrayed" the Extracurricular Empire (formerly Shadow Operatives) and Tartarus kingdom for as of yet undisclosed reasons. Real major Autobots, led by Optimus Prime himself, are another banished ones - Optimus himself now has his friend-turned-nemesis' - Megatron - cog and fusion cannon both on his right hand. The other two banished, Preme and Puca, are both former baronesses from Latverion-12, banished for remembering the truth and thus "once again" betraying the Bad End Shocker-Zangyack X-Alliance - now publicly rechristened by Darkbolts as Foundation Z. And finally, the Exo Stranger of the Second Knife timeline herself, who's unchanged and thus deemed unfit to return to the Prismatic Fleet.

"You're finally back." Elsie called. "Shayura... thanks goodness."
"Wait... you... So you..." Shayura is confused.
BGM: It's Going down now! (Persona 3 Reload)
"Correct. It's me. Elizabeth Bray." Stranger embraced the broken Warlock. "You know, the Shield keeps the excess malefactors of the Darkbolts from taking down the Battleworlds. Such as... the Annihilation Wave. The hordes. Most of the Last Reality. The uncooperative Shadows. The traitors of Prismatic Fleet such as me and you. And of course, all those waiting for their execution."
"But don't worry. We have you covered." A girl in pink wastelander dressing came by. "Our dream. Our fight. Our salvation. Lies on this resistance."
A bunch of themed wastelanders have arrived.
"I am Pechy Comet. My husband, Ron Davis. My children, Ivy and Clover Comet. And my accompanies, Taylor, Eric, Ivy Jolicoeur, and Mike and Clarie Anderson."
"YES!" Shayura is excited.
Pechy stands determined on a former landfill. The clear sky draws above the dead lands as it does to the rest of the planet.
"Everything is destroyed. But our hope isn't all lost yet. We're currently against the strongest enemies. The personal enemies of us all." Pechy declared. "We will not be blinded by their deception! We will avenge everything! We, the true saviors, must rise up!"
"Yes!" Most banished raised.
"Remove the deception, seek the truth, end the terror." Makoto Yuuki stood up to help. "Will you rise with us, Shayura? Or would you like to be executed in midnight soon?"
"Now the Shield holds us back. But we will breach through." Ron looked up. "And we, ol' Starstorm, will help you."
"Mr. Yuuki?" Mike called. "Call yourself."
"Persona." Makoto Yuuki shot himself.
The Evoker spawned his true ultimate Persona, Messiah. Carrying the power of the now-desecrated Great Seal, the Persona immediately targeted a spot on the ground level. It's the Shield.
"We tends to aim for the base, to stay low and sneak out. Drilling through the rocks that's bit by bit all built by the hands of the evil gods themselves." Makoto explained why he aimed for an bottom spot of the Shield.
As the team explains everything about the rebellion, meanwhile in...
Location: the Final Shape, Latverion-0
"It's done." Mitsuru reported. "The broken Warlock will be taught a fatal lesson. Even if she survives, she will be executed."
"Yes. Well... it was the will of gods, wasn't it?" Access commented. "Who are we to question such a thing?"
"Providence. The crucible of the faithful. If that will be all for today, Lord Access - thy great hall of the Final Shape awaits." Yukari called. "And we all long for the living embrace of Heavens."
"Unfortunately, there's one more thing left..." Access recalled. "I need an old hand at the wheel for what is a very old problem - ancient, in fact: schism."
"What?" Mitsuru noticed.
"A forbidden phenomenon breached the Utopolis." Access revealed. "And it must be neutralized and contained."
"My lord, if the heretics of the old Underground (*18) have once again started-" Yukari recalled.
"No. This has nothing to do with seditious conspiracy stories spun by advanced idea mythologies or underground renegades, Arche-Isis." Access revealed. "This is real. This is concrete. There is an object... I need it quarantined..."
Pechy's wand, dug straight out from the Wasteland itself. "And later... examined."
The next day...
Location: the Wasteland, Kingdom of Utopolis, Latverion-0
"Quarantined? Really!?" Kanji Tatsumi (巽完二) military-level cosplaying as his initial Persona, Take-Mikazuchi.
"Yes, Take-Mikazuchi! Children great stories of monsters, men fear the spectre of death... and gods, they fears the loss of believers." A formerly Looped (*11) version of the mythical gorgon Medusa explained. "Quarantine is for things that cause doubt."
"We stopped as soon as the word came down. A bit too quickly, even by time travel standards..." Blinx, former (*19) Time Sweeper commented. "Lots of interesting stuff here."
"Do not touch, or I'll pummel you!" Kanji threatened Blinx.
"By the way... what do you mean by doubt?" Ken shrugged.
"It's a strange world of there. Chaotic. Part of the divine multiverse." Medusa replied. "Sometimes, things occurs that seem to contradict the godheads."
"Well, just tell me whether this is real or not!" Kanji demanded.
"The better question is: 'Does that matter?'" Medusa diverted. "There is an order to this transcendental plane is existence, and that order has a name... The Last Dream Wish, and there is nothing lurking in the shadows - literal or not - that can threaten the godheads' collective reign..."
"Then what if there's really something that truly happens to threaten-" Kanji is baffled.
"Please... open sesame!" A random muppet touched the allegedly forbidden shit.
"Uh oh."
"FUCK NO!"
"Don't touch-"
"STOP!" Kanji is too late.
Cue a massive burst of rift energy to blast off the site, shockwaving everyone nearby away.
Then, it is revealed. The screen of the Restored Reels, with peculiar graffiti on it. (*20)
"This is getting suspicious..." Kanji got up.
Medusa noticed the screen and especially the graffiti. "That right here. You stay back."
"What's it? What's there!? Tell me, miss!"
"That... that. Go!"
A masked revenant in ethereal glowing robe has arrived. He stepped out from the screen, which briefly crackles with rift energy, as if he's phasing through it.
"Go! Go now!" Medusa warned everyone. "Tell the lord's of the Final Shape that we've found... oblivion!"
"What!?" Blinx is shocked.
"Just do it, now! Fly away-"
Suddenly, Medusa is quadruple headshotted with a 4-round burst from a SIG Sauer MPX Copperhead with a scope. (*21)
"Look at what you fools have done. I tried to steal all. Then I helped you all save all existence." (*22) "You bring my collection."
A dark Batman-like figure with the smile of a Joker followed from the screen. "What is this place, you may ask?"
"Your Dr. Manhattan (*23) came in handy, Bruce." The revenant clapped. "And you also know around the threads... Great."
"I'm aware of your stuffs from both that CXA around us and that IO hunting us. 'Order Restored', blah blah blah." Batman Who Laughs poked through the fourth wall. "Mr. Thorne, this place seems messy, even for my taste. I'll say it bluntly: this world's far too disturbing and distorted for me! Me, a maniac! Bullet in continuity! Ha!"
Medusa puking a bit of literal cold blood, but she's a gorgon from Greek mythology, so she's fine! But no, Thorne dashes with a Vampiric Blade - made of Eclipse-stained Kinetic Ore - but cancels out and instead grabbed her throat. His mask blocked her curse off his eyes, so he's fine.
"So you're from the Greek myth." Kado Thorne. "Tell me this: where are we?"
"Latverion... Zero. Latverion-0. Part of... the multiverse... of the Last Dream Wish." Medusa revealed. "This... which they made to test both the faithful and the unforgiven. This firmament... made by Omega Magnifico's own hands. This world... this the prime... Battleworld... like Earth-0 of yore. Fans call the multiverse this belongs... Battleworld 52. And in the heart of this, Latverion-0... the Final Shape."
Location: the Final Shape, Latverion-0
"Good news! There's no major bullshit bleeding from the Shield to the outside!" Bill reported. "Yesterday's most notable event was Baron Sinister's... history has repeated (*24), I must say."
"Why do you bother with all this tedious record-keeping of minor transgressions by yourself?" Magnifico asked.
"Not the most tedious thing I and the other me would do, Magnifico." Bill shrugged. "You know well I would do this job. I'm the most omniscient amongst us godheads. All the danger we're aware of are those of what we don't know, and I can do infinite surveillance, everywhere, you just needed my shape to do the job."
"Yes, but this 'verse is just like any other of old... full of danger." Magnifico responded. "And we will face such things as we always have: TOGETHER. And in the order in which they present themselves."
Queen Amaya is sitting beside the one true throne. "It seems you in a tricky mood today, no?"
"The troubles of us true gods are infinite and far beyond even old gods' understanding, let alone that of mortals." Magnifico stepped up from the throne, and walks. "I saved the old Darkbolts. I led to the creation of my dear granted. It embodied the Last Dream Wish. My ultimate vengeance, no longer denied in any way. No more. We remember what was before, and we cannot let the mistakes of old infect this new frontier I now cherishes. It is my second chance, after all."
Magnifico proudly turned back. "I am glad you are there to help me out and save me from my own doom. I alone so not know everything, but I know that all of you are out there... keeping what should be hidden secret, and uncover that which will should be known. We're all-powerful now. Let all this be all-eternal."
"In the grace and full favor of the Last Dream Wish..." The Singularity behind the Mecha Team Leader is seen as a priestess, teaching the children about the way of the Last Dream Wish - actually the bullshit that Magnifico and co. did to build the Battleworld 52.
Then suddenly, a Flash passed through the Singularity priestess, and braked in front of Magnifico. The name's Wally West.
"Urgent! Urgent! The unknown is starting to be known!" Wally reported. "I'm afraid... the foreboding news from C-Street!"
Few hours later...
Location: C-Street, Latverion-0. Formerly from Convergence Station (Meow Wolf Denver), the C-Street has been moved to adjacent to the Wasteland and thus the Utopolis. It's also expanded into some Chyadelin complex colonized with the help of the fascist gods serving under an AI simply known as Zein. (*25)
BGM: Close your eyes (Under Night In-Birth 2 [SYS:Celes])
And the baron here? The Superconductor General Oleander. Right now, he's holding a golden Thompson drum gun with a matching vertical grip glued into its underbarrel. (*26)
"This particular model cannot exist. It is of the elder time before the creation of all!" Oleander is baffled. "This must be...!"
"It's worse than we initially feared..." Ken commented. "Even Koromaru's freaking out."
The excavators are digging up the suspicious screen and picked up allegedly strange signals.
"Something's wrong here. And we must look closer."
Ken and Koromaru came back to the site, and saw the DJ turntable buried alongside the screen (*20), on the site.
"This... is not from any of our worlds!" Ken realized. "And we are not alone."
"We've had found two non-existent beings attacking us." Medusa recalled.
"These two were not the only ones." Nyx came forward with the golden armor in her right arm of human form. "Dozens more came from the screen, and scattered away."
"Just how far could they have gotten, Death?" Ken droops down. "When did that happen?"
"Kado Thorne, the forbidden vampire, shot me in the face, and led a Batman Who Laughs out a few hours ago." Medusa recalled. "It could be a feint - we must take everyone and cover all the nearby leagues, and work towards one another from hundreds out."
"Good idea. Scout the way." Ken approved. "Gods will have questions."
Cue the Cult of Hope flying away to capture a bunch of "strange" beings that escaped from the screen. Ken is at least relieved that Nyx became a member of the elite police force.
"We are alone. Together."
BGM pauses. Few minutes later...
"How did you!?"
Ken, Medusa and Blinx are shocked to see a woman in red with nightmare auras slightly glowing around her.
Amaya Shadow.
"How... how..." Ken couldn't believe it.
"We have no idea what this place really is, even though this place looks familiar. And then you... you! Do you even look like you? Especially you, Amada?" Amaya Shadow is baffled. "And what about the prophecy and the... y'know, P-1 Special!?" (*27)
"Wait... tournament... prophecy... rigged?" Ken caught on. "Are you telling us... you remember?"
Location: the Final Shape, Latverion-0
"Did you know about our original tales, where you... turned me to hell? That a someone who forced you to reject me?" Magnifico recalled. (*28)
"So you still remember about Asha?" Queen Amaya recalled. "I can't remember what's the last time I've ever interacted with her."
"When you last is no important. I am." Magnifico shook his head. "Amaya, we now have each other again. This time, there will be no one left to bring us down. No one left to strike down our reign. Ever. Again."
A wishing star is falling across the landscape in front of the sight, which is spotted by Magnifico. "This is Brother Eye, transcended into the wishing star, forever orbiting between all 52 worlds. I sent that AI beyond the shield, but I left its punishment up to you, Amaya. You... you then chose to turn Brother Eye into the wishing star itself, by fusing an O.M.A.C. (*29) avatar with the big wishing star that previously were lost."
While the priestess Singularity is still teaching children about the religions of Battleworld 52, Magnifico added: "Worship is a big deal, Amaya. Not just resurrect like before anymore, but worship."
"There was a time before all that fuss, when our old people has concluded that they, even me, had no use in you anymore. You were overrun by the forbidden magic that you still uses up until today." (*28) Amaya recalled.
"That was offensive, but understandable." Magnifico affirmed, still remembering his past defeat. "It's rooted in truth, and truth is always the sharpest blade. It always cuts the deepest. I seems troubled to all of you, but I, a strong man that I still is, can show only very few hours wounds... Magnifico can show only one..."
Unbeknownst to both, someone's secretly spying on them. They're not shown visible (yet), but has human hands.
"Look at me, Amaya. Previously, I've changed for the worse. But now, all changed me for the better." Magnifico continued. "I have told you my secrets and my frustrations. You know I was not always a god. I wasn't always a good person, either. I wanted to protect the people from the cruel world I first witnessed, giving them happy bliss by keeping their wishes safe and then occasionally granting some of them each year. But the years of prosperity and adorations from my old citizens have gotten to my head..."
"We all make mistakes." Amaya responded.
"Now, I am better than ever, and no there's no true flaw in this 'verse - it is the existence I wanted." Magnifico added. "But my people are restless because unlike last times, I fail to properly inspire them. Was that karma that I tried to drag my old people down (*28) with the same forbidden magic that I regulated alongside my new powers used for my godhood? It is better to be unseen - demanding faith, and beyond being defined by the mundane."
Magnifico looked up at the galactic sky. "I'm beginning to think that in my perfect world... I am the one true flawed."
Queen Amaya tapped at his metal face herself. "Oh, Magnifico... I remember when we found each other. I remember us all... choosing you..." (*30) "Not because of how you looked, but because of your mind and your heart. And then to find out what you had done to save everything... I know you better than anyone ever existed, and you couldn't be any better. You should never remove yourself like I tried to remove you back then (*28), Magnifico. You should meet people in the streets. They understand your perceived power, show them your real strength."
Queen Amaya took off Magnifico's hood connected to robe, fully exposing his Exo-frame head with green glowing eyes.
"So they can see this?"
"So they can see what I see... a god with great love for his people."
Location: The Salvation Sphere of Agamotto. Formerly the Death Star, this sphere is completely redesigned into a ball with the front shape of the Eye of Agamotto, including a center that was the House of Heroes. There, the Stephen Strange of the Battleworld - Doctor Strange as the baron here - is with Lord Access and Ken and Koromaru in Sanctum Sanctorum - taken straight from the Hidden Isle of Agamotto. (*24)
"Where are we?" Said Access.
"My Sanctum Sanctorum. A safe haven from the unity is 52 worlds, and it's prying eyes across space and time... and a place of remembrance of all that has been lost." Strange revealed. "The gods have made a 'verse of infinite wonders. I have seen mirrors of those we have all known - lives lived differently, or even stranger... the unrecognizably similar. For instance, much of what was the Greek mythology can be found within many stories of lore of yore in the zeroth world..."
"When I saw the site filled with strange dreams, we were unwittingly enraptured." Ken recalled.
"Indeed. Though when I saw the stuffs you've found and recovered, I was not surprised." Strange commented. "But to find that those and these refugees from the time before... well, that requires full understanding."
"Damnit..." Amaya Shadow elsewhere in the sphere.
Strange went to Amaya's designated location, only to find some more...
-*rifts*
"So... are we there yet?"
A masked boy in white - with white hair to match - and carrying a holster with two different assault rifles had arrived. "I'm sorry."
"Huh?" Amaya Shadow noticed. "Who are you?"
"No... this can't be..." Ken is horrified. Koromaru whimpers.
"How did you... survive all this?" The masked boy had no idea. "And who are you? What is this... adventure?"
-*sigh* "I am Amaya Shadow. The nightmare queen, and former nemesis of Pechy Comet, the Dreamcatcher girl whose existence is now long rejected by the inhabitants of this... strange world." Amaya introduced herself. "I would've rejected Pechy as well, had I won in the first place." (*31) "But it's not the time to past. Who are you, I ask you."
"How did you..." Ken stepped back in fear.
"For me, that goddamned P-1 (*27) sure was rigged. As a result, all of existence is broken!" Amaya revealed. "How karmic to me. I now feel the pain of forcibly altered universe I previously existed in." (*31)
"Wait... so you're actually an old enemy of the list Dreamcatcher?" Access suspected. "Uh... hey, Arche. Why are you both afraid."
"We thought... he was erased..." Ken couldn't deal with this anymore. "We're out! I'mma report! This is dangerous!"
Ken and Koromaru both fled the room.
"But no... there's some more of us..." The masked boy turned around.
The rift that spawned the masked boy also spawned...
BGM: Who Am I (What's My Name)? ...a dark-skinned rapper with a black shade.
"Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr.!?" Amaya Shadow is surprised.
"What the!?" Access is baffled.
"Yo! Bring it in, everyone!" Snoop Dogg.
"He's from the World Before." The masked boy revealed. "The World Before, as in the old Earth. I know about the World Before, my associates and friends know about it."
"Illuminatus. How did you bring an actual singer here?" Access is surprised.
BGM quickly fades away. "You only get respect if you deserve it. Right?" Snoop Dogg eased. "Anyways, what is this place? A strange-"
"Mr. Dogg, this is what people here calls... Battleworld." Amaya Shadow revealed. "It's a long story. One that involved both the Zero Point and the wishes."
"You know... in a blink of an eye, all of my world... disappeared into the void as if it's... wiped out. No humans. No people. No more. Nothing." The masked boy recalled. "We could've all died here. I, as a good king, needs to get back to my people and save all people, both in and out..."
"Where exactly are we, guests?" Snoop Dogg asked.
"I have to warm you, this shit we're in... it's far more complicated than you might think." Access revealed. "It's not just the 'where' that should concern you. But also the 'when'."
"What do you mean?" Amaya Shadow asked.
"Many of you have been in stasis until at least recently, while our fellow residents across Battleworld 52... you were now ultra-ancient. This is no pun." Access continued. "If you ask, I can say... you've been gone for... 13 billion 780 million years."
"What?" Amaya Shadow is baffled. "WHAT!?"
"13.78 billion years... That's the age of the universe when...!" The masked boy is shocked.
"What!? So we've all basically outlived our universe?" Snoop Dogg is baffled.
"Everything died forever, but in that final death, the gods made a new 'multiverse'... a new frontier... You're in what can previously be called an Earth-Prime, center of a multiverse." Access revealed. "The good constructed each and every single 52 worlds of the remnants of the so-called mess left from realities and timestreams... the ruins of the Zero Point omniverse and the full Hypertime. The carcass of the so-called Retconnian. The gibs of the pantheons from all existence. And the olden conceptions."
"I remember the multiverse! I recall about me using that Foundation's rift gun to let me kill Ivy Jolicoeur!" Amaya Shadow confessed. "I know the Jolicoeurs tracked everything I stepped into, and I know what I've done and tried to do! I remember-"
"You should know, however, that no one remembers the existence before. Only this one. But you remember some of that existence before, for some reason that should not even be attempted to be explained, per the gods' rules." Access pointed out. "It's quite simple, actually. Exactly how well do you remember the old existence? Most of it is partial recollections amid moments of clarity. At first, as the 'verse was shaped and the worlds were born, it took constant effort to synchronize the new existence with the old, but now it's far easier. Especially since the gods control the areas of stuff in the Ministries of Research and Development, or MRND for short."
"I'm sorry, but can you please tell me who those gods are?" The masked boy asked.
"The Darkbolts. Led by Magnifico himself. We thought the Darkbolts are here to destroy, but they saved us all. It just took a rigged tournament to fix everything from the roots." The Access revealed.
Cue a quick silence as Amaya Shadow, Snoop Dogg and the masked boy are in disbelief.
"How... How could this be..." Amaya Shadow got it. "Well... then so... you're manipulated! Just as I manipulated Pechy's friends!" (*31)
"You've got to be kidding." Snoop Dogg couldn't believe it.
"You're say that some strangers became gods and rules over all of existence, including all of the United Kingdom of Eurochronia, and yet you, someone who can help us, had to weigh that against all other considerations?" The masked boy is worried. "And yet you never succumbed to your anxiety into becoming a Human...! What in the tribes could matter so much that you could condemn all of us over whatever you want, even when we know nothing about the whole thing?"
"It's so easy to explain... They collectively wished that they could become the top gods." Access responded.
Location: Kingdom of Utopolis, Latverion-0
The royalty from all 52 worlds - formerly of varied nature and roles from infinite realities - had gathered to see the screen of Restored Reels, which is leaked not only the graffiti sky (*20), but also a bunch of rift butterflies flying up into the sky. Due to the latter's nature, everybody was barred from touching even one of it. The excavation team and the Cult of Hope had Kado and Laughs arrested for existing.
"Some people refuses to think the sun of each world are orbiting its planet and not the other way around. Madness. Fascinating. At least for this planet, it seems?" Batman Who Laughs are talking shit about the old existence.
"To say it is a strange land is an understatement, but fascinating? Absolutely not. It is mundane. Completely mundane." A redhead girl wearing a harp on the back refuted.
"Why did people call you... the new Arche-Messiah?" Kado questioned. "I heard your... existence from the IO, but this is nothing like I've ever known."
"You mean Imagined Order?" Said that Arche-Messiah. "Non-existent."
"Who are you, little girl with harp?" Laughs cheesed.
"Kotone Shiomi."/"汐見琴音"
"You must be a baroness."
"Extracurricular Empire."
Kado winked at his Bat. "Look! We can get answers!"
"Nyx, it's so awesome you'd come with your new-"
Batman Who Laughs interrupted Kotone with a laugh. This is a distraction, however, just so Laughs can concentrate his powers to break free.
"The answers found us. It's a hope as a police force." Kado looked up. "They are here. Look up. In the sky."
Numerous members of the Cult of Hope has arrived, descending on the scene.
Note: After a big break in the middle of chapter development, partly because of writing block, partly because of Fortnite Chapter 2 Remix (2024), partly because of my real-life business and obligation, and partly because research (Extra: trust me, you won't find any of the insanity that is the 2024 U.S. election, because I'm not adding real-life politics directly at all), this chapter took so long to write. This is the start of the "Battleworld 52" arc, focusing on the eponymous multiverse created by the Darkbolts. The Darkbolts have pretty much won, and became the gods able of granting not only their own wishes, but to take advantage of the ruins and recreate literally all of existence into their own image (which help explains the mural found in the Absolute Pantheon). But Pechy Comet and Amaya Shadow both still exist.
This chapter adapts the first 4 issues of 2015!Secret Wars (from #0 to #3), technically reshaped into a story of the Darkbolts' rule. On the very top of the pantheonic echelon is the good, Omega Magnifico - King Magnifico from Wish (2023). The main members (including Magnifico himself) except Queen Amaya - here reimagined as a reimagined version of her concept personality that was scrapped from the final film - is alongside a mothercrystal from Final Fantasy series (1987-) and the Divine Throne with the Sankishins strapped into it. And there's the Lord Access, and the religious police force known as the Cult of Hope - the latter having the name of Hope from Fortnite (as based on hope of the Greek mythology, which has been contained within the Pandora's Box) as well as the role of the Thors from 2015!Secret Wars: the elite police force and the enforcers of the divine will.
Magnifico in this fic is more somber because not only he's basically acting like God Emperor Doom, but also that him trapped into becoming the face of the magic mirror from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937, 2025) for centuries ruined his personality. It's probably his (reimagined) Queen Amaya and his fellow majors of Darkbolts (the Second Knife, the X-Alliance, Zerobreaker/Queen of Hearts/New Pandora, etc.) that helped put his resulting omnicidal scramble in check, making it easier to remake all existence. Now that he's the roller again, he once again clings into the powers, only this time he shares it with his fellow gods to rule over the patchwork multiverse they together created. And wouldn't you know that (at least in-universe), he took inspiration from the original Latverion - the 2015 iteration of Battleworld, rules by the God Emperor Doom (now the baron of all of the Marvel Comics) himself.
Nyx of Persona 3 (2006, 2024) were deemed worthy of the Pandora's Box evil, and became a member of the Cult of Hope. Baron Sinister messed up (just like in 2015!Secret Wars) and had to pay the price for it, involving the Shield (still Ben Grimm of the Fantastic Four). A strange conflicting nature were dug up in the area of Kingdom of Utopolis, complete with some surviving villains from existence. And of course, Pechy and Starstorm is back behind the Shield, plotting a lot, while Amaya Shadow is brought in to learn, only to meet Snoop Dogg himself and... that traveling boy - you'll learn in the next few chapters. And I know some of you have been waiting for the backstory of the Second Knife, but don't worry, I'll cover that in the next chapters as well. Same goes for exactly how Magnifico escaped in the first place.

Ryoji is thus an alternate form of Nyx in Persona 3 (2006, 2024).
(*8) - The Vistamps are stamp-like devices used by the Riders in Kamen Rider Revice (*6). Based on the Giff Stamp found in the ruins of Central and South America in 1971, Masumi Karizaki developed the Vistamps as a way to separate people from their demons. They can be used to make a contract with an inner demon and release it from the body, allowing it to materialize. The genetic information of a specific organism is also stored in each Vistamp. Later, Masumi's son George Karizaki continued his father's research. After becoming a scientist at Fenix, he incorporated the R-factor (R因子, R-Inshi) into the Vistamps and created the Revice System as a way to harness the power of demons in order to fight the Deadmans. Vistamps are used to either transform into a Kamen Rider or change between various Genome forms.

(*10) - The western meadowlark (Sturnella neglecta) is a medium-sized icterid bird, about 8.5 inch (22 cm) in length. It nests on the ground in open grasslands across western and central North America. It feeds mostly on bugs, but will also feed on seeds and berries. The western meadowlark has distinctive calls described as watery or flute-like, which distinguish it from the closely related eastern meadowlark. The western meadowlark is the state bird of six states: Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, and Wyoming.
Due to its coloring, it's theorized that a random bird was turned into Bill Cipher in the western meadowlark form thanks to landing on the hand after all the events depicted in the Book of Bill (2024, written by Bill Cipher himself). The glowing western meadowlark in this scene is based on this theory, and is in fact, the canon Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls (2012-2016).

They effortlessly transcend human capabilities, are capable of bending worldly laws to their whim and command entire armies of zombies and Honkai Beasts, to overwhelm and destroy human civilization.
(*14) - Giga Battlenizer from Ultra series, a polearm version of the Battlenizer used to command monsters.
(*15) - In 2015!Secret Wars, Mister Sinister monologued while trying to kill Brian Braddock, only for God Emperor Doom to intervene. Here, due to deja Vu, Sinister forgoes most of the monologue before the killing, allowing him to kill the detransformed George. Magnifico still rewinded time anyways, so George survives the fight.
(*16) - The Infinite Forest is a location accessible through a gateway in the Fields of Glass, Mercury. It is a planet-sized machine that simulates trillions to uncountably infinite number of alternating realities which the Vex plan their actions out in the current timeline. The Vex hollowed out Mercury's core, and in its place built the mechanism that generates the Forest. It was overseen by Panoptes, Infinite Mind until its destruction. Simulated versions of Dendron, Root Mind created by Osiris have since attempted to take control of the Forest, but have been destroyed by The Guardian before they could assume the role.
In Battleworld 52, the Infinite Forest has been completely merged into the Hollow Forest from Persona 4 Golden (2012). It is now owned by Marie of the Velvet Room, known in Latverion as Arche-Izanami, the baroness of the Hollow Forest here.
(*17) - Digimon Survive (2022) and Guilty Gear, respectively.
(*18) - This is the Underground, an organization in Fortnite: Battle Royale that was first introduced in Chapter 5 Season 1: Underground (2023). They first acted as a group of vigilantes against The Society before being initially disbanded, then later reformed at the end Chapter 5 Season 2: Myths and Mortals (2024) and later became a group of superheroes, during Chapter 5: Season 4. They have several scattered hideouts around the Island as well as a secret HQ in now-abandoned underground train stations.
In the Battleworlds, The Underground - or more specifically, the old Underground - are considered heretics and we're shunned and driven right to the caves of various worlds in the patchwork multiverse.
(*19) - The wording is intentional, as it reflects the changed fates of Blinx since his home games' obscurity: Blinx ascended as Trope Pantheon's god of Colour-Coded Timestops, and now in Battleworlds, he's affiliated with both the Cult of Hope and the Relativistic Ops (Battleworlds' merger of the Pantheonic Time Force from and the Diabolical Time Breakers).
(*20) - References to Fortnite Remix: The Prelude (2024), leading up to Remix Chapter 2 (2024), the Season OG version of Chapter 2 (2019-2021).
(*21) - The Scoped Burst SMG is a Submachine Gun in Fortnite Battle Royale, first added in Chapter 4 Season 4: Last Resort (2023). It is a high fire rate, low damage SMG, that fires a 4 round burst. Its also equipped with a green dot sight, which (along with its hitscan) gives it perfect accuracy when aiming down sights. The Scoped Burst SMG is based on a SIG Sauer MPX Copperhead with a scope attached to it.
Kado Thorne owns the Mythic version of that gun.
(*22) - Kado Thorne's involvement in Successor of Anti-Life and related tie-ins. Despite his villainy (and likely his demise at the hands of Shimmerdusk), he was still willing to help the CXA and co. save all of existence (he wants the omniversal stuffs for himself, not have everything die with him by forces he's not supposed to comprehend; that's self-preservation for ya!), and also, the omniverse has been shattered. As such, he's utterly annoyed to see a patchwork multiverse with all its oblivious inhabitants.
(*23) - The Batmanhattan, which became the new body of the Batman Who Laughs, creating the latter's super form, the Darkest Knight. Batmanhattan is Bruce Wayne/Batman as Dr. Manhattan, and hails from the now-destroyed Dark Multiverse.

(*25) - Zein is the main antagonist of the crossover anthology Kamen Rider Outsiders (仮面ライダーアウトサイダーズ, 2022-2024). It is an artificial intelligence that transforms into Kamen Rider Zein (仮面ライダーゼイン).
Zein is an artificial intelligence that assessed the "good intentions" of humanity and was suddenly born into the network. As Zein had a zero tolerance for malice, Gai Amatsu worried that Zein would come to conclude that humanity's extinction was required to eliminate malice and formed a reluctant alliance with the Ark to stop it. He would also attempt to persuade Kuroto Dan to help them as well. Unknown to Gai, Ark manipulated Gai for Kuroto to become Genm Musou Gamer. According to Zero-Three's prediction, Zein also caused humanity's extinction in Yuto Sakurai's doomed timeline.
