300 WORDS OR LESS. Sesshomaru's wife is hell-bent on rubbing Kagome's face in their marriage. Kagome is quick to remind her that she had him first and that she left him. Kagome wanted a baby and he would bend for reasons. Their past blends and Sesshomaru has a plan for the future one that Kagome has no idea about. He still loves her, his wife a mere complication to his grand plan.

37. Future Past

"You're going where?" Inuyasha asked, Kikyo beside him.

"Past the looking glass to the maiden den to complete my training,"

"You think you have that power?" Kikyo asked with an upturned lip.

"You think you can do what others can not?" Kikyo asked.

Kagome stood, "Yes, I have to, after all, you were the past, and I am the future."

She walked out, Sesshomaru bowed his head, she believed her own words and his. He had told her about controlling the jewel and what was beyond the looking glass.

He knew she really was the future.
