Sesshomaru took her as far as he could.
"Get away from her demon," They heard a powerful female voice "For her power will shine and you will truly be purified in it's wake,"
Sesshomaru backed away, and just as Kagome stepped through the portal, a white light blinded him. She didn't look back or hesitate.
When it cleared, she was gone, but he could still smell her raw power. This was her time. He had no doubt now, she was where she was supposed to be and only time would tell if Kagome would gain what was needed to control the deck of cards that was dealt to her.
In order to do that though she would first have to accept her fate and all that came with it. The good, the bad, the ugly.
He took her this far; he could take her no farther; it was time for him to go away.
