300 WORDS OR LESS. Sesshomaru's wife is hell-bent on rubbing Kagome's face in their marriage. Kagome is quick to remind her that she had him first and that she left him. Kagome wanted a baby and he would bend for reasons. Their past blends and Sesshomaru has a plan for the future one that Kagome has no idea about. He still loves her, his wife a mere complication to his grand plan.

71. She Knows

Kagome noticed him pulling out; she wasn't dumb. But she didn't blame him; after all, they were not married or even dating?

They were walking back to the village to see Rin, and she was going to ask him about what they were, but they were stopped by a demoness.

"My Lord, I came to see favor, but alas, I see I am too late."

Kagome looked up at him as he nodded, and the woman disappeared.

Then it dawns on Kagome; she was still human, well, sort of.

He wasn't pulling out because they were not married; he was pulling out because their children would be half breeds.
