Kagome wanted a baby and he would bend for reasons. Their past blends and Sesshomaru has a plan for the future one that Kagome has no idea about. He still loves her, his wife a mere complication to his grand plan.

Sesshomaru came just as Kagome was meditating with her power in her hands. She opened her eyes and threw the power into the air as Shippo kissed his bride. The fireworks lit up the sky, and she turned her eyes to him.

Every day she had been away from him she died a little inside, but seeing a woman next to him was a knife to her heart and a whole new level of pain.
