My idea for season 9 of Teen Titans. Even with Trigon gone, Raven's family and heritage continue to haunt her. When she and the Titans are visited by her younger brothers she must face her fears to save her friends and save the world. As her demon brothers plot against her many new enemies also arise, as well as new friends. Please read and review.

10. Boot Camp

Teen Titans Unleashed

Before you read: I will introduce some new characters in this chapter, both heroes and villains. I'll also have some revelations about some villains from the comics. Enjoy.

Boot Camp

It was a bright and sunny day at Titans Tower and Cyborg was working on the T-Car in the garage as he looked at the engine with the hood up. He was content until he pushed the hood down and saw Beast Boy sitting in the driver's seat holding the steering wheel.

Cyborg got angry as he demanded, "Yo Beast Boy! Get out of my car! You still haven't paid off that last ticket and you're not driving it until you do!"

Beast Boy was annoyed before smiling and holding the wheel as he said, "Dude, chill out. I'm not driving. I just thought I'd pretend to. It's Beast Boy in the lead, approaching the finish line, checkered flag about to wave!"

Cyborg softened his expression but remained stern as he said, "Even so, get out of there. I don't want you pushing buttons."

Beast Boy smiled overconfidently as he looked up and moved his hand while saying, "Relax dude, I'll be careful, I'm…"

He stopped talking when he accidentally touched a button and his eyes shot open as he nervously opened it and saw that he pushed the button for the proton cannon. He yelped in fear while the proton cannon emerged from the back of the roof and started charging up while Cyborg watched with his eyes wide.

The proton cannon hummed while Cyborg nervously said, "Uh oh."

Robin and Starfire walked in as they smiled and Robin curiously asked, "Hey guys, what's going on?"

Cyborg frantically looked at them and screamed, "Guys look out!"

The proton cannon fired its blast and Robin hastily yelled, "Hit the floor!"

He got down on the floor but Starfire did not listen as the blue proton blast hit her and sent her crashing through the wall, leaving a big hole. She got up and was a mess and covered in rubble, then she started glaring daggers with her eyes glowing green.

She, Robin, and Cyborg glared at Beast Boy with fire in the background as they angrily said, "Beast Boy!"

He chuckled nervously as he said, "My bad."

He immediately took off running and left a sonic boom behind him as he hurried up to the main room and stopped to pant. Seeing he lost them he let out a sigh of relief, then looked to see Raven sitting on the couch, reading a book with a cup of tea on the table.

Beast Boy took a few steps behind her as he smiled and said, "Hey Raven, how's it going?"

Raven scowled forward with a throbbing red vein on her forehead as she said, "I was enjoying a peaceful moment of reading, but that moment seems to have passed."

She looked back at her book while Beast Boy walked to the counter and grabbed a banana, which he started peeling.

He took a bite of it and spoke with his mouthful as he looked at Raven and said, "You know, I've got this new recipe for a fruit smoothy that you should try. Maybe I'll make one tonight."

Raven kept staring at her book with an annoyed expression as she sarcastically said, "I can hardly wait."

Cyborg suddenly burst through the doors and yelled, "Beast Boy!"

Beast Boy jumped in fear and accidentally threw his banana in the air, and it hit Raven on the head with the peel stuck on her head. She glared forward with her body surrounded by black fire as she tried to contain her rage but was having difficulty.

Cyborg stomped over to Beast Boy and yelled, "I told you not to touch the button! You little green…"

Beast Boy quickly reached into a drawer and pulled out a box of tofu as he held it out and said, "Stay back! I've got tofu and I'm not afraid to use it!"

He held it close to Cyborg's face, prompting him to shield his face as he turned away and yelled in distress. Suddenly Beast Boy and Starfire burst in too and glared at Beast Boy, prompting him to nervously back down. Then Raven floated over and joined them with the banana peel still on her head as she glared at him with her eyes glowing white.

She kept glaring as she angrily said, "How are we supposed to enjoy ourselves when you keep wrecking our days?!"

They were all startled when suddenly they heard the voice of Mento say, "Calling Beast Boy! This is Mento! Come in!"

They all turned to the screen and saw Mento on the screen looking back at them with an urgent expression on his face.

Beast Boy hurried to the monitor and saluted him while he said, "Mento! I'm here! What's up?!"

Mento showed a serious expression as he said, "We need your help."

Opening theme song

Raven pulled the banana peel off her head and tossed it aside while Beast Boy asked, "What's wrong Mento?"

Mento remained serious as he answered, "We've got a situation here at headquarters and we could really use your help."

Robin spoke up as he said, "We're on our way!"

Mento dismissed him as he adamantly said, "No. Just Beast Boy. I've already sent the pod. It will arrive shortly to bring you straight to us."

The others joined Beast Boy as Robin firmly said, "If you want Beast Boy then you get the rest of us too."

Mento shook his head as he said, "No, this is strictly a Doom Patrol situation. Besides, he's all we need. This nothing apocalyptical, just want help with something over here. I assure you all that he'll be back home within a few days."

Beast Boy turned to his friends calmly before turning back to the screen while he said, "Guys, it's okay. I'm no my way Mento."

Mento showed a small smile as he said, "Great. Thanks Beast Boy."

They saluted each other before the screen turned off, then Beast Boy took off while the others watched him. Later they were outside by the pod, which had arrived, and Beast Boy was getting ready to leave as he put on his old mask.

Cyborg held his hand out as he asked, "You sure about this BB?"

Beast Boy turned around and solemnly said, "Definitely. Mento wouldn't call unless they really needed me. It may not be the Brotherhood of Evil but it's gotta be important."

Starfire expressed some worry as she said, "Please be careful."

Beast Boy smiled with confidence as he said, "Don't worry, I've been fighting with them for most of my life. Everything will be fine. See you guys in a few days."

He waved to them before jumping into the pod and pushed a button, causing it to close and automatically fly away while they watched and waved.

Raven turned and walked to the Tower as she said, "Good, now we can finally get some peace and quiet around here."

Cyborg smiled as he marched back to the Tower and said, "Yeah, a few days with now Beast Boy might do us some good."

Robin smiled optimistically as he said, "I guess we at least don't have to worry about him messing anything up around here."

He then took Starfire's hand as they both walked to the Tower, Starfire looked over her shoulder in the direction the pod flew. A few hours later, Beast Boy was still riding in the pod as flew high in the sky and went over some mountains, a forest, and a village. Beast Boy looked out as the pod approached a small canyon with a huge fortress base located in the center, towering over the forest. Beast Boy smiled as he came closer, and after landing he went inside to find the Doom Patrol waiting for him.

Elasti-Girl went to him and hugged him as she said, "Welcome home Garfield."

She let go of him and he smiled at her before Negative Man came and pleasantly said, "Good to see you kid."

Robot Man also joined them as he fondly admitted, "Yeah green bean. It hasn't been the same without you."

Beast Boy smiled at them before looking around then back at them while he said, "Thanks everyone, I've missed this place. So what's the situation?"

Mento motioned for him to follow him as he said, "Come with us. We'll explain."

Beast Boy walked with them as they entered an elevator and moved up to the top floor and then entered a conference room. On the other side of a large table was a man with red hair and a full beard, sitting in a wheelchair as he looked up at a large monitor. Beast Boy and the others walked around the table while he curiously looked at them and noticed Beast Boy.

Beast Boy saluted him as he said, "Chief! Beast Boy reporting for duty!"

The man smiled as he chuckled and said, "At ease son. It's been a long time."

Beast Boy lowered his arm and smiled happily as he said, "Yeah, I haven't seen you since I left the team."

The chief smiled as he circled around Beast Boy in his wheelchair and said, "Yeah, I hear you've joined a new team and have been fighting all kinds of new villains."

Beast Boy smiled modestly before showing a troubled expression as he said, "Yeah, I've done some really cool things. Oh, there's something I think I should tell you."

The chief raised his right hand to dismiss him as he got to the point and said, "That can wait until later. Right now it's time for you to meet our new recruits."

Beast Boy was surprised as he said, "Recruits?"

The chief started rolling away in his wheelchair while Elasti-Girl placed her hand on Beast Boy's back saying, "We'll explain."

They started escorting out of the conference room while he remained curious and was very interested meeting these new members. Meanwhile at Titans Tower, Raven was reading her book when she finished it and closed it before looking at the clock.

She was surprised as she looked at the book in her hands and said, "Wow, it's not even dinnertime yet. I finished my book a lot sooner than I usually do."

Robin was sitting in a chair as he looked at her over his shoulder and said, "That's because Beast Boy usually distracts you and interrupts you, so you don't finish reading until much later."

Raven looked up in realization as she said, "Oh yeah."

Cyborg smiled as he walked in the room and shuffled cards in his hand as he said, "Alright I finished tuning up the T-Car. Who's up for a game of five-card draw?"

Robin looked over his shoulder as he said, "We don't have enough players without Beast Boy."

Cyborg's eyes widened in realization and he frowned in disappointment and said, "Oh. Right."

Starfire then walked in and looked at the others as she said, "Friends, I must report that we still do not have the sugar."

Raven looked at her as she said, "Beast Boy said he was gonna go to the store today, but then Mento called."

Starfire recalled and frowned as she looked down before Robin glanced at her and said, "I'll go in a little bit Starfire. Just as soon as I'm done here."

Cyborg then curiously asked, "Whatcha doing man?"

Robin stared at the computer screen as he said, "I'm scanning for any crime reports. So far nothing. Everything seems quiet."

There was awkward silence before Raven glanced around and said, "Yep, it sure is quiet."

Cyborg agreed as he said, "Mmmhmm."

Starfire then put her fingertips together and smiled with her eyes shut and said, "Then I shall fill the silence with a cheerful Tamaranean folksong."

Robin, Raven, and Cyborg all stared at her in fear before she sang loud and annoying notes, prompting them to cover their ears as she kept singing. Back at the Doom Patrol's base, they were with the chief as they escorted Beast Boy down a hallway to a large door.

As they walked Mento explained, "We've heard how you Titans have been recruiting more members. You're getting more organized and beating plenty of other villains."

As they kept walking Elasti-Girl stared forward and said, "So we decided to recruit five new members of our own. They show a lot of potential but they still have so much to learn."

Negative Man looked at Beast Boy and said, "We were thinking you could give us a hand in whipping them into shape."

Robot Man stared at the door as he said, "They're all kids so you should be used to working with them by now."

Beast Boy did not argue as he curiously asked, "Okay, what can they do."

They stopped when they came to the door as it automatically opened while the chief said, "See for yourself."

They entered a large chamber with five other doors, and Beast Boy was stunned to see five superpowered teens in it. There were four girls and one boy, all of whom wore Doom Patrol outfits that matched but still looked different. The first girl had short black hair like a boy's, but she had brown eyes and she had skin like Robin's and was as tall as Raven. She wore a uniform like Beast Boy's but showed her girlish figure, and she had shoes just like Elasti-Girl's. The second girl looked somewhat strange, she had black skin, brown eyes, and shoulder length black hair and was roughly also as tall as Raven. But she had locks of black hair stretching from different parts of her body and moving almost like tentacles as she used them to grab things. She wore a uniform almost identical to Elasti-Girl's but she had no gloves and she also had a bare midriff like Starfire's. The third girl had a somewhat mysterious appearance, with tan skin and shoulder-length red hair, and she was as tall as Starfire. She wore an outfit nearly identical to Elasti-Girl's, but her shoulders were bare, along with her neck and the top of her chest. What made her mysterious was that she seemed to have no face and she had an eyeball in the top of her chest, just above her uniform. She was floating in the air as she moved around with the eye in her chest blinking while she held her hands out.

The fourth girl shared some features with Beast Boy, and she was just as tall as him with a face somewhat shaped like Terra's. She was covered in bright purple fur and she had two blue horns sticking up from her head and curving back like a goat's, and she had a tail like a fox. She wore an outfit similar to Elasti-Girl's but she had no sleeves or gloves, and she had different shoes that had her toes sticking out. She had sharp claws on her fingers and toes, and on her face she had purple eyes with small fangs and pointed ears. Finally, the boy did not look human at all as he was huge, as tall as Robot Man, and he appeared to be a mutant four-armed ape. He had a face like a gorilla's but his skin was the color of a chimp's and he had small sideburns on his face. He had a muscular body with broad shoulders, large pecs, and robust arms and legs, and all four of his arms were longer than his legs. He only wore a pair of purple shorts with a belt like Beast Boy's, but he also wore a purple metal harness over his chest. Beast Boy was stunned as he watched the five teens having fun with their powers while the ape boy made happy noises and the purple girl with horns laughed. The girl with the moving locks of hair lassoed the ape boy and he dragged her around before stopping and she slid before stopping on her feet. The girl with no face kept floating and watching them while the girl with the boyish black hair had her arms folded.

Mento then shouted, "Troops, report!"

They all immediately hurried over and saluted him while he saluted them back before lowering his hand as they did the same.

Mento looked down at Beast Boy before introducing each new member while he said, "Beast Boy, meet the newest members of the Doom Patrol: Lodestone, the Flea, Grunt, Nudge, and Beast Girl."

Beast Boy was shocked as he looked at Mento and said, "Beast Girl?"

Mento smiled as he answered, "Yes."

Beast Girl smiled as she jumped in front of Beast Boy and put her hands together excitedly saying, "Oh my gosh! Beast Boy! It's really you! I'm a huge fan of you! I've heard so much about you! You are so amazing!"

Beast Boy was surprised before he smiled cockily and said, "Yeah I get that a lot."

Beast Girl kept staring him in the face as she excitedly said, "They told us you were coming! I wasn't sure if it was true! I've been so excited! And now you're here!"

Beast Boy showed a somewhat uncomfortable expression until Nudge came and grabbed Beast Girls' shoulder as she pulled her back.

Nudge showed a somewhat serious expression as she said, "Okay, down girl. Heel."

Beast Girl composed herself as she calmly said, "Sorry. I guess I got a little carried away."

Nudge looked at Beast Boy with a friendly expression as she said, "Nice to meet you. It's nice to meet another Doom Patroller around our age."

Beast Boy smiled pleasantly before glancing around as he curiously asked, "Thanks, I get what you mean. So what can you guys do?"

Nudge placed her right finger against her head before standing in a fighting stance while she said, "I'm a telepath in training. Right now I can read minds and control some people, depending on how strong they are. I'm also skilled in hand-to-hand combat."

Grunt smiled as he grunted and flexed his muscles while Beast Boy looked at him and said, "So, I guess he's strong?"

Grunt stood like an ape as Nudge placed her hand on his shoulder and said, "Yeah pretty much. Grunt and I go way back. We were best friends in school before some mad scientist put his brain into this ape body, messing him up."

Beast Boy was shocked and appalled as he said, "Whoa! That's sick! And not in a good way!"

Nudge agreed but smiled as she held his chin and said, "Yeah, but with my powers I can help bring out the best in him and get him to help out."

Grunt smiled at her before turning to Beast Boy, then Elasti-Girl went to Beast Girl and said, "Beast Girl has enhanced strength, speed, and agility. She can also be a bit vicious when she needs to be."

She smiled sweetly as she said, "But I'm still really nice when you get to know me."

Beast Boy smiled but then showed a frightened expression when Lodestone came up to him and looked down at him. He couldn't help but stare at her eye on her chest before looking at her head with no face on it while she kept looking at him.

Lodestone then said, "Nice to meet you."

Beast Boy was shocked as he pointed at her and asked, "How can you talk if you don't have a face?"

Lodestone briefly turned her head away before facing him while she calmly said, "It's complicated. I understand my appearance is kind of unsettling."

Beast Boy remained frightened as he said, "Kind of? No offense but you're creepier than my friend Raven."

Lodestone did not argue as she said, "I'll take your word for it."

Mento showed a serious expression as he said, "Lodestone is the most powerful member of our new recruits. She is able to fly, she has great super strength, she has the power to attract and repel metal objects, she can create force-fields, and she can shoot a purple beam from her eye. She also doesn't need to eat, drink, or breathe."

Lodestone looked down at Beast Boy as she added, "I draw sustenance from the Earth's magnetic fields."

Beast Boy was somewhat impressed as he said, "Cool."

Flea then went to Beast Boy with a smile as she said, "Hi."

Beast Boy looked at her body where the locks of hair once came out and saw that she now looked completely normal.

Beast Boy curiously looked at her and asked, "Do you wax yourself or something?"

Suddenly a lock of hair grew from her stomach and stretched in front of Beast Boy as the strands wove together and made the basic shape of a face. The face glared at Beast Boy and hissed while he looked nervous, then Flea made a face and retracted the lock back into her body.

She smiled sheepishly and said, "Sorry about that. It doesn't like strangers so much."

Beast Boy became somewhat concerned as he asked, "It? What's it?"

Flea nervously locked her fingers together as she awkwardly answered, "I have an alien living inside of me. I call it a louse. It makes me grow these long locks of hair from anywhere on my body and move them like tentacles."

Beast Boy was shocked until Mento held his hand out and explained, "The louse needs a host to survive so bonded to Flea, giving her this strange super strong hair that she can control."

Flea showed an uneasy expression as she said, "Sometimes, but a lot of times the louse just does what it wants. It protects me but also hurts other people."

Beast Boy curiously pointed at her as he asked, "Is it evil?"

She spoke honestly as she answered, "I don't think so. I think it's like a dangerous animal in a cage or something. But I do know that letting out would be dangerous."

Elasti-Girl walked to Flea and said, "That's why she's here with us. We want to help her learn to control this alien creature so that she can use it to help others."

Negative Man spoke somewhat empathetically as he said, "And we'd be the best teachers for them, since we know what they're going through."

Robot Man agreed as he honestly said, "Yeah, they're all a bunch of outcasts, like us."

Beast Girl frowned as she looked down and confessed, "It's true. When I first turned into this and got my powers, everyone in my town formed an angry mob and chased me out."

Flea showed a bit of insecurity as she said, "It really is hard. Ever since this alien moved into my body everyone has called me a freak."

Lodestone faced them as she honestly said, "Trust me, I know how it feels to scare people."

Nudge felt the side of Grunt's face as she added, "And people have been trying to use me and Grunt for their own selfish needs."

Grunt looked down at the floor as he let out a sad groan before Nudge gently patted him for support, but he did not feel better.

Beast Boy empathized as he said, "I know how you feel dudes. When I was younger people used to call me a freak and wanted to use me. Some people still do, but I learned not to care what people think of me, and I use my powers the way I want to."

Beast Girl smiled with hope as she put her hands together and said, "That's so cool Beast Boy! So, will you help us?"

Beast Boy smiled as he promised, "You got it!"

She cheered happily while Grunt made happy noises and Mento proudly said, "That's my boy."

Robot Man looked at Beast Boy as he happily said, "Brings back memories."

Negative Man spoke in a happy tone as he said, "Welcome back to the team kid!"

Elasti-Girl smiled as she turned from Beast Boy to the others while she optimistically said, "With Beast Boy's help we'll have you all ready for action in no time."

They all smiled at Beast Boy, who had a proud smile on his face, but he did not know that he was being watched. A pair of high-tech binoculars showed him inside the Doom Patrol's base, and outside he was being spied on by Gemini. She focused on him before her binoculars zoomed out to show all the other members of the Doom Patrol.

Gemini lowered her binoculars with a hostile expression before speaking into the communicator in her ear as she said, "Mother, this is Gemini. Beast Boy has agreed to stay and help train the Doom Patrol's new recruits."

In her dark hideout, Madame Rouge was staring at a monitor with an evil smile as she said, "Good. All of the pieces are in place. Our secret weapon will be operational in three days. Until then we must keep an eye on the children to determine whether they may pose a threat to our plans."

Gemini had her finger in her ear as she narrowed her eyes with fury as she said, "Yes mother, and rest assured I will make Beast Boy pay for all the times he has humiliated you."

Madame Rouge had a twisted grin on her face as she replied, "I know you will. You are my daughter after all."

Commercial break

It was morning when Beast Boy woke up in his bed and yawned as he stretched his arms out before looking around. He was somewhat startled as he looked around and noticed that he was in his old room in the Doom Patrol's base. He suddenly recalled everything that happened the previous day and then smiled fondly as he got out of bed and walked out his door.

He walked down the hall and came to Elasti-Girl as he said, "Morning Rita."

She smiled as she walked with him and said, "Good morning Garfield. How does it feel to sleep in your old room again."

He smiled at her out of the corner of his eye before looking around as he honestly said, "It's cool, but it's kind of weird. It's smaller than I remember, you know?"

Elasti-Girl chuckled and said, "I know what you mean Beast Boy, come. Breakfast is ready."

Beast Boy smiled excitedly as he said, "Sweet! I get to taste you're cooking again!"

He turned into a cheetah and took off running while she smiled and shook her head before hurrying after him. He hurried to a dining room and joined everyone as they were eating breakfast, except Robot Man who just watched.

Mento smiled at Beast Boy while holding up a plate for him and said, "Morning son. Hope you're hungry. We made you tofu eggs and bacon!"

Beast Boy was thrilled as he took the plate and started eating happily while sitting at the table with a big grin on his face.

He swallowed his food and happily said, "Oh this is great! I've missed this so much!"

Elasti-Girl was at the stove with an apron on as she cooked more and said, "We've missed you too Garfield."

The chief rolled by in his wheelchair as he happily said, "Just like old times, huh Beast Boy?"

Beast Boy smiled in agreement before he curiously looked and saw Beast Girl eating sausages while Nudge ate cereal, Flea had fruit, and Grunt pigged out on waffles.

Lodestone ate nothing as she floated near Robot Man and watched, prompting Beast Boy to ask, "You're not gonna eat anything?"

Lodestone said nothing as she pointed at her head and poked where her mouth would be, reminding him that she had no face.

Beast Boy smiled awkwardly as he chuckled and sheepishly said, "Right sorry."

Robot Man looked at Lodestone as he empathized, "Welcome to the club."

Mento looked at the kids as he said, "The rest of you eat up. After breakfast we all start combat practice."

Beast Boy smiled as he saluted him and said, "Sir, yes sir!"

He ate seconds that Elasti-Girl brought him while she smiled fondly and watched him; meanwhile at Titans Tower the Titans were happily eating breakfast.

Cyborg came with a chef hat on and served them all pancakes as he said, "Alright y'all, eat up!"

Starfire smiled with delight as she looked at her plate before turning toward the door while she shouted, "Glorious! I do enjoy the delicious cakes of pans! Beast Boy join us! Beast…"

She stopped in realization as her voice echoed throughout the top floor and the others looked at her hesitantly.

Starfire faced them as she frowned and said, "Forgive me. I forgot that Beast Boy is not with us at the moment."

Cyborg frowned a bit as he said, "It's cool Star. It does take some getting used to."

Robin also frowned as he agreed, "It's definitely not the same around here with Beast Boy away."

Raven glanced around as she admitted, "It is really quiet around here. At first it was nice, but now it just feels like something is missing."

Starfire then curiously asked, "Do you believe Beast Boy is feeling the sick home feeling right now?"

Raven frowned as she looked down and said, "Probably not. He probably feels like he is home with the Doom Patrol."

Back at the Doom Patrol's base, Beast Boy smiled excitedly as he exclaimed, "I feel so at home right now!"

He and the other young recruits were outside on an open range watching the Doom Patrol fight different training robots. Elasti-Girl had grown to giant size as she punched a giant robot in the face three times before finally knocking off its head and sending the body falling over. Robot Man charged forward as he smashed several smaller robots with a single punch for each, then he jumped and smashed some kind of tank with both fists. Negative Man separated from his body as he negative form flew around through the air, passing through several flying robots, blowing them up before returning to his body. Mento was floating in the air when his eyes glowed blue and he telekinetically split one robot up into six pieces and sent the pieces flying at six other robots, destroying them. He landed and his wife joined him along with Robot Man and Negative Man while Beast Boy and the other teens applauded, except Grunt who yelled in excitement.

Elasti-Girl smiled with appreciation as she said, "Thank you kids. Now it's your turn. Beast Boy, why don't you go first?"

Beast Boy smiled politely as he stepped forward while Mento turned to the chief and said, "Chief, give him a real test."

The chief smiled and nodded as he turned nobs and pushed buttons at a terminal, then hatches opened up in the ground. Some small robots came out, along with three tanks, and there was one robot that was twenty feet tall as it stomped. Some robots were flying as they all fired at Beast Boy, but he was not afraid as he smiled eagerly and morphed into an eagle and took flight. He flew through the air as some robots flew after him, but he changed into a Quetzalcoatlus and kept flying as he hit two with his swings and knocked them away. He pecked one and sent it crashing down, then he grabbed another in his beak and threw it at one flying the other way, causing both to blow up. Two robots flew close together, but he changed into an octopus and grabbed both with his tentacles and then slammed them together. He changed into a kangaroo and landed on the ground before he kicked one robot, breaking it and sending it crashing into another. The tanks approached but Beast Boy changed into a hummingbird and flew over one before changing into a blue whale, falling on top of the first tank and smashing it. He then morphed into a Triceratops and charged at the send tank, knocking it over and turning it upside down. The last tank aimed at Beast Boy and fired, but he turned into a mouse and avoided the shot, then he scurried over to it and climbed inside before chewing through wires. The tank started sparking and small explosions erupted from the sides before the tank was shut down. Beast Boy climbed out and looked at the big robot, which was the only thing left; Beast Boy transformed into a T-Rex and roared ferociously. Beast Girl, Nudge, Flea, Grunt, and Lodestone watched in amazement as the robot swung its left arm at Beast Boy's face, but the green T-Rex dodged it. He then bit down on the robots arm and ripped it off before spitting it out, then he rammed its chest and knocked it on its back. He got on top of it as he stomped his huge feet on top of the robot, disabling it as sparks of electricity shot from it before it was shut down.

Beast Boy changed to his human form and smiled as he bragged, "That's how you go wild!"

Lodestone applauded while the other young recruits happily cheered as Beast Girl exclaimed, "That was amazing!"

Beast Boy smiled proudly before Mento smiled and said, "Alright kids, your turn."

Beast Girl's smile immediately vanished as she nervously said, "Oh, I'm not sure we're ready."

Beast Boy walked to them as he encouraged, "Come on, you guys will do great!"

Lodestone looked down at Beast Girl as she said, "Come on Beast Girl, we'll never get better if we don't try."

Elasti-Girl went to them as she assured, "Don't worry, we'll start you off with something small."

Beast Girl hesitated before smiling as she said, "Alright! What have we got to lose?"

They stepped onto the battlefield as while Mento looked at the chief and said, "Chief, let's see how they do on level 3."

He nodded before he pushed buttons and turned dials, then a few dozen robots emerged from the ground and fired lasers at them. They dodged the lasers before Grunt roared and ran at them like an ape before smashing one with all four of his fists. He then grabbed two and smashed them together, then he grabbed another robot with all four of his hands before he ripped it off while laughing happily. Mento watched with a judgmental expression; Beast Girl ran on all fours as she headbutted one robot with her horns and knocked it down as sparks shot from it. She smiled excitedly as she slashed her claws and scratched another robot, then she kicked it and knocked it down. She jumped and did a backflip as she landed on another and ripped off its head, then she spun around and knocked another robot down with her tail. Nudge fought one robot as she punched it and kicked it, denting its armor, then she dodged a laser shot from another. She grabbed another robot and used it as a shield before she dropped it and ran at the other robot and kicked its head off. The Flea sprouted long locks of hair from her fingers and they grabbed ten robots before lashing them up and smashing them against the ground.

She smiled happily as she said, "Yes! Way to go louse!"

Lodestone was floating in the air when some robots flew at her and shot lasers at her, but she easily blocked them as she held her hands out and created a round purple force-field.

She was not afraid as she said, "Oh please."

She dropped her force-field and then encased the robots in purple magnetic fields before slamming them together, destroying them. She landed on the ground and saw some robots lined up, so she shot a purple energy beam from the eye in her chest and destroyed them all with one shot. They'd destroyed all the robots as they celebrated their victory before they were joined by the rest of the Doom Patrol.

Beast Girl smiled excitedly as she said, "How was that?!"

Mento folded his arms as he sternly said, "You kids definitely have spunk, but I can see you still have a lot to learn."

Beast Girl was disappointed while the others were surprised, but Beast Boy smiled as he gave them two thumbs up.

Elasti-Girl stepped forward and said, "Don't worry, with more practice you'll be ready for any danger that.."

She was interrupted by an alarm and Nudge asked, "What is that?"

The chief turned off the alarm and looked at a monitor before he urgently said, "There's trouble in Logwood!"

Mento urgently looked at the others as he said, "We need to investigate! Doom Patrol move out!"

They all immediately rushed into action; in a town in the valley a building as on fire and people were trapped inside as the firefighters struggled to put it out.

The Doom Patrol arrived on the scene as Mento looked at their young members as he ordered, "We'll handle this fire, you kids stay back!"

They groaned while Mento placed his fingers on the sides of his head and sent out blue psionic rings that broke down a door, allowing people inside to escape. Elasti-Girl grew three stories tall and held her hand out to help people down from an open window and gently placed them on the ground. Negative Man separated from his body and flew through some walls as he managed to put out a few flames and clear a path for people. He returned to his body while Robot Man smashed a hole through a certain wall and helped people get out of the building. Beast Boy turned into an elephant and sucked up water with his trunk before spraying at a window, extinguishing some flames.

Beast Girl was excited as she looked at the others and said, "This is amazing! Come on let's help!"

They all hurried to help as Beast Girl ran on all fours and jumped out as she used her claws to climb up the side of the building. She made her way to a window and opened it to help a little boy down to the floor with a sweet smile on her face. Nudge went in the doorway and helped some people out while the Flea stretched locks of black hair from her arms and fingers and used them to help some people down to the ground.

Lodestone flew through a hole in a wall and came to some scared people as she said, "Don't be afraid, we're here to help."

Grunt then roared in excitement before he charged forward and crashed through a wall, making a hole for people to get out.

He did not stop as he started smashing through more walls, prompting Mento to yell, "Grunt stop! You're making the building unstable!"

He did not listen but then Nudge ran in and held her head as she telepathically shouted, "Grunt! Stop!"

He finally stopped and looked at her with curiosity, then the ceiling started to cave in while people nearby screamed in terror. Seeing the danger, Grunt immediately pressed all four of his hands up against a beam to stop the ceiling from collapsing while Nudge escorted everyone out.

Outside Elasti-Girl looked at Mento as she worriedly shouted, "Steve! The building's going to collapse!"

Flea ran to the building and stretched locks of hair from her arms, legs, and body as they ensnared unstable parts of the building to hold it together. However the building was starting to break apart as a ceiling caved in over some people, but Lodestone created a force-field dome to protect them. She then dropped it and used her strength to clear some debris and carried a few people outside before putting them down. Beast Girl went inside and used her claws to cut some pieces of wood that had a man pinned down, but then the floor collapsed and they both fell through. She groaned in pain before lifting the man up, only to find herself trapped by rubble all around her with no way out.

She then fearfully yelled, "Help! We're trapped!"

Outside, the flames were starting to burn Flea's hairlocks as she strained and yelled, "I can't hold on much longer!"

Beast Boy ran inside and morphed into a rhino as he broke through the rubble trapping Beast Girl and the man she had. He then morphed into a horse and they got on his back as he carried them out; the building was clear so Flea released it and it collapsed. Flea's locks of hair were on fire as they waved around while the louse hissed in pain and the people ran away in fear. Flea then cut off her locks and they fell to the ground burning while she retracted her remaining hair and sighed in relief.

Beast Boy turned human and covered his nose while he cringed in disgust and said, "Aww! Dude! Burnt hair! Gross!"

The adult members of the Doom Patrol gathered as Mento folded his arms and sternly said, "That could've been a disaster! You kids disobeyed a direct order!"

They all showed regret while Elasti-Girl said, "Steve…"

He dismissed her while Mento lectured, "Kids, there's more to being in the Doom Patrol then fighting and smashing things! We're supposed to work together to protect people and save lives! You can't be a part of this team if you can't follow orders! Understand?"

Beast Boy frowned as he looked at them and Beast Girl regretfully said, "Yes sir."

Mento pointed his thumb backwards as he said, "Good, now let's get back to the base. Clearly we have more training to do."

They turned around and started walking while Beast Boy looked at the teens and smiled as he sincerely said, "Hey don't sweat it. I messed up and disobeyed orders a lot of times. You'll get better. Trust me."

They smiled at him before he turned around and changed into a crow and flew off while they followed him. Later at Titans Tower, Robin was sitting at the computer typing while Starfire, Raven, and Cyborg were sitting on the couch staring into space with bored expressions.

Starfire curiously looked at Robin as she asked, "Robin, is there any danger?"

Robin then leaned back in his chair with a bored expression as he said, "Nothing."

Cyborg looked up at the ceiling as he complained, "Man it's so boring around here. Anyone got any ideas?"

Raven folded her arms as she deadpanned, "Don't look at me. I've officially finished all of my books, and I don't have anything new to read."

Robin looked at them while resting his arm over the back of the chair as he suggested, "We could play a videogame."

Cyborg glanced at Robin as he said, "Thanks man but it's just not the same without BB."

Starfire showed a yearning expression as she said, "Agreed Cyborg, this Tower is less entertaining without our green friend."

Raven looked up in thought as she said, "I guess it's true what they say: you never know what you have until it's gone."

They nodded in agreement, meanwhile the Doom Patrol kept working their new recruits hard as they turned up the heat on their training. They spent hours drilling them on combat practice and other skills while Mento watched with his arms folded, but Beast Boy and Elasti-Girl showed a bit of concern. Their training exercises were much harder as they moved up to higher levels and had to fight giant training robots, tanks, and more flying robots. There were several times when they got hit with lasers that hurt them, but they did not cause any serious damage. Grunt got hit by lasers as he cried in pain and then angrily smashed robots with all four of his fists before being blasted by a tank. Lodestone was hit by a giant robot's arm and sent crashing to the ground while Nudge was knocked to the ground by a training robot. The Flea stretched locks of hair from her body that lashed out but some robots cut her locks before she was blasted. Beast Girl ran on all fours as she desperately tried to avoid the blasts but eventually she was hit and knocked out. Mento was disappointed while Beast Boy sympathized, the next day they kept training them hard but the young Doom Patrollers did not show much improvement. Grunt threw a tank at some robots and destroyed them before being blasted behind by another robot and knocked down. Lodestone used her magnetic powers to hurl tanks at a giant robot and successfully knocked it down, but then some flying robots blasted her out of the air. Beast Girl rammed one robot with her horns and knocked it down before laughing happily, but then Nudge was hurled at her and they both fell down. Flea used her prehensile hairlocks to smash some robots but then a tank fired at her and she used her locks to shield herself, but it still blasted her down.

Mento was disappointed as he strictly yelled, "Come on kids! You'll have to do better than that if you want to be in the Doom Patrol!"

Beast Boy sympathized, then later the Doom Patrol responded to an emergency in a village near the base. A rockslide was threatening some homes on the outskirts of the village, Mento ordered the young Doom Patrollers to stand by and watch them. Together he, Elasti-Girl, Robot Man, Negative Man, and Beast Boy successfully stopped the rockslide and saved the homes. The people happily cheered for them while Beast Girl, Grunt, Nudge, Lodestone, and the Flea watched with insecurity and jealousy.

That night at Titans Tower, the Titans were sitting boredly on the couch as Cyborg complained, "Another boring day. Not even any bad guys to fight."

Starfire then smiled as she raised her finger and suggested, "Perhaps we may entertain ourselves with a movie night."

Robin smiled as he said, "Hey that's a great idea Starfire."

Cyborg showed a small smile as he raised his finger and said, "I'm in."

Raven did not argue as she said, "Fine."

She smiled and then happily asked, "What sort of movie should we watch?"

A question mark appeared over all their heads as Cyborg said, "Uh…"

Robin frowned with realization as he said, "We don't have anything to watch because Beast Boy didn't rent anything."

Cyborg frowned as he slumped and said, "Figures, another thing we can't do because Beast Boy's not here with us."

Raven looked up with a longing expression as she said, "You guys can't liven anything to save your lives. I miss Beast Boy."

Cyborg agreed as he rested his head in his left palm and said, "Me too Raven. I thought him going away would be a nice break for all of us, but it's not as much fun around here without him."

Robin frowned down at the floor before remembering something as he looked at the others while saying, "It does feel like we took him for granted. And tonight was supposed to be his turn to cook dinner again."

Starfire smiled as she floated and generously said, "Do not despair friends! I shall prepare a truly delicious Tamaranean meal to lift our spirits!"

They all fearfully held their hands out as they looked at her and tried to tell her not to but she did not listen as she flew to the kitchen and started working.

They all had sick expressions as Raven said, "I really wish Beast Boy were here now."

The next evening, the young Doom Patrollers had a long day of training and were exhausted as they rested a living room near their rooms.

Beast Boy walked in and said, "Hey, you guys ok?"

Nudge was leaning back on a sofa as she tiredly said, "I'm exhausted!"

Grunt moaned in exhaustion while the Flea tiredly said, "Even the louse is tired."

Lodestone was lying on another sofa with her eye half open as she tiredly said, "If I had a mouth I'd be panting."

Beast Boy sympathized before smiling optimistically as he said, "Yeah, sorry guys. Training was tough for me back then too. But don't worry, it'll get better."

Beast Girl was not feeling confident as she looked at him from down on the floor and said, "I'm not sure about that Beast Boy. Mento says we're not ready to help him and the others in the field yet. Maybe he's right."

Nudge looked at Beast Girl as she angrily stated, "Maybe, but I don't appreciate his condescending attitude!"

Lodestone had an impatient look in her eye as she agreed, "Yeah, I know we've messed up and still have a lot to learn, but he could treat us with a little more respect."

Flea looked at her as she honestly said, "I know the louse doesn't like him so far."

Grunt snarled in agreement before Beast Boy sincerely said, "Calm down. Trust me, I get it. Mento's attitude is the reason I left the Doom Patrol and joined the Titans. But I know he does it because he's worried about failing. When he's not acting like a jerk he's really a great leader."

Their expressions softened as they looked at each other, then the alarm sounded and Flea yelled, "Now what?!"

Beast Boy pointed his left thumb backwards as he hastily said, "We'd better check it out!"

They all nodded as they hopped out of their seats and got back on their feet before they all hurried to the conference room. The chief was working at a computer with Mento, Robot Man, Negative Man, and Elasti-Girl beside him when Beast Boy and the others joined in.

Beast Boy looked at them as he urgently asked, "What's going on?!"

Robot Man looked at him as he seriously said, "Not sure, but something big!"

The chief finished typing and showed a worried expression as he said, "You have no idea!"

They all looked at the screen and saw live footage of a giant robot marching through the forest, stomping its huge feet and knocking over trees. The robot towered over the trees and had a large red body that was heavily armored, and it carried a relatively short scepter in its right hand. It had a face somewhat like a bug's with a strange mouth full of sharp teeth, eyes like a fly's, and a head that was almost cone-shaped. It also had a yellow crown on its head like one that a king would wear and it had sharp claws on its fingers.

Beast Girl was shocked as she asked, "What is that thing?!"

Mento narrowed his eyes as he stared at the screen before turning to the others as he seriously said, "I don't know, but it's heading straight for Logwood. Doom Patrol, we have to stop that metal monster before it hurts someone! Let's move!"

They all took off running as Beast Girl eagerly said, "This is awesome! I always wanted to defeat a giant robot!"

They stopped as Mento sternly looked at them and sternly said, "You kids stay here! We'll handle this threat!"

Beast Girl tried to argue as she said, "But…"

He pointed his finger at all of them as he strictly said, "You're not ready for this! Stay here! That's an order!"

Elasti-Girl showed a calmer expression as she said, "Steve's right kids. This is too dangerous for you. Stay here with the chief and rest."

The chief spoke seriously as he said, "I'll stay on the monitors and watch your battle."

Mento nodded at him as he said, "Thanks chief. Let's go!"

They ran off except Beast Boy who frowned at the others as they were all disappointed and he did want them to come to.

Mento then shouted, "Beast Boy! Come on!"

He frowned as he took a step and said, "Sorry guys."

He left and hurried after the others while the young Doom Patrollers turned around in disappointment, the Doom Patrol left their base and hurried to fight the giant robot. They were all unaware that Gemini was watching them with her high-tech binoculars and saw them heading for the giant robot.

She lowered her binoculars and deviously spoke into her communication device saying, "Mother, they have taken the bait. The base is unprotected."

In her hideout, Madame Rouge smiled deviously as she placed her finger in her ear and said, "Excellent Gemini. I will grab the others and we will meet you at the base for our attack. Stand by and await my arrival."

Commercial break

The giant red robot was still stomping through the forest when it stopped and saw the Doom Patrol standing in its way. It towered over them but they were not afraid as they looked up at it and stood heroically, standing on top of a rocky mound.

The robot kept staring at them as it spoke with a menacing mechanical voice, "I am Kranus, Emperor of the Planet Mechano! I have come to conquer your world and destroy all who dare oppose me!"

Mento stared at Kranus then pointed at him while he fearlessly shouted, "Well you'll have to go through us first! Doom Patrol attack!"

Elasti-Girl grew to her maximum size, but Kranus was still bigger than her, she punched him and managed to make him stumble backwards.

He regained his footing and arrogantly said, "Foolish Earthling!"

He swung his scepter at her face and knocked her back, but then Robot Man jumped onto Kranus' leg and started smashing at the armor. However he did not appear to be doing any damage before Kranus swatted him like a bug and knocked him off. Negative Man separated from his body but Kranus pointed his scepter at him and shot a powerful heat ray that hurt Negative Man and destroyed part of the ground. He returned to his body and retreated before Mento held his head with his eyes glowing blue and he telekinetically hurled large rocks at Kranus' face. They had no effect and he tried to stomp on Mento but he ran and jumped out of the way, then Beast Boy flew up as a macaw. He changed into an Ankylosaurus and swung his clubbed tail at Kranus' face, seemingly damaging him as he made his face turn a bit. Kranus reached and tried to hit with his scepter, but Beast Boy changed into a tarantula and avoided it as he crawled alongside Kranus' shoulder blade. He crawled onto his head and changed into a Titanoboa and ensnared his head, blinding him as he struggled to pull him off.

Elasti-Girl stood up and smiled as she said, "Good thinking Beast Boy!"

She then punched Kranus in the chest twice before kicking him and knocking him to the ground, but he managed to pull Beast Boy off his face and threw him away. Elasti-Girl caught him but Robot Man jumped up and slammed his body down onto Kranus' chest, making the giant robot shake.

Kranus got back up and knocked Robot Man flying before Mento bravely said, "Beast Boy, Rita, throw your weight around!"

They looked down at him and nodded as they knew exactly what he wanted them to do, and Beast Boy turned into a hornbill and took flight. He flew toward Kranus while Elasti-Girl ran toward him, and then Beast Boy morphed into an Apatosaurus while Elasti-Girl jumped beside him. They both crashed into Kranus and managed to knock him onto his back, making the ground shake before he angrily forced them both off of him. They all kept fighting as he got back up, meanwhile at the base the front door opened as Madame Rouge and her daughter entered and glanced around. There were three other figures standing in the shadows behind them as they had menacing looks in their eyes.

Gemini smiled arrogantly as she said, "They suspect nothing mother."

Madame Rouge smiled in agreement before pointing at the figures and turning away while she said, "The ignorant never do. Now, you and our friends take care of the children while deal with my own mission."

Gemini obeyed as she said, "Yes mother."

She walked away with the other three while Madame Rouge smiled evilly and went down a different hall as she stretched her arm out and swung from the ceiling. Back at Titans Tower, Cyborg walked in the kitchen and was displeased to find the sink full of unwashed dishes.

He groaned in annoyance as he said, "Let me guess. It's BB's turn to do the dishes?"

Raven came and said, "Yep. Don't worry, I'll get them."

Cyborg was surprised as he said, "You sure?"

She went to the sink and started washing the dishes while making some float in her black magic as she said, "Sure, there's nothing else to do anyway."

Cyborg showed a bored expression as he said, "I'm with ya Rae. I tried calling Bumblebee but the Titans East are on a mission. The sooner BB comes home the better."

Raven scrubbed one dish while she said, "Yeah. He's probably having tons of fun with the Doom Patrol right now."

Meanwhile, Beast Boy was a T-Rex on Kranus' shoulder as he used his teeth to rip off a sheet of his armor, but Kranus grabbed him and threw him away. He changed into a bat and flew through the air while Elasti-Girl threw Robot Man at Kranus' face, and Robot Man punched him so hard he stumbled backwards. Mento then sent out blue psionic rings that blasted Kranus in the chest and made him stumble further backwards, then Negative Man separated from his body. His negative form flew threw parts of Kranus body before returning to his mummy-like body as Kranus fell to his knees.

He then glared at them as he said, "Insolent humans! Feel my burn!"

He held his scepter out and it shot a red heat ray that they dodged as it scorched the ground and then he stomped his foot and caused a tremor that made Mento and Negative Man wabble. The kept fighting, meanwhile Grunt, Nudge, Flea, Lodestone, and Beast Girl were sitting around in their living room as they sulked over being ordered to stay behind.

Beast Girl rested her head in her hands as she said, "I know we messed up, but I wish we had a chance to fight real bad guys."

Suddenly they were all shocked when the door and wall were smashed open and they all stood up and looked to see Gemini emerged from the cloud of dust.

She leered at all of them as she said, "Be careful what you wish for."

The chief saw a live security camera video of this and was worried as he said, "I have to help them!"

He reached for a button on the computer but Madame Rouge's hand stretched over and smashed it, preventing him from activating the defenses.

He turned to her as her hand stretched back to her and she smiled wickedly and said, "Hello Niles."

He glared at her as he said, "Laura."

Madame Rouge folded her arms as she sinisterly said, "It has been a long time."

The chief immediately contacted the rest of the Doom Patrol as he shouted, "Doom Patrol! This is the chief! Madame Rouge has attacked the base with some associates!"

Madame Rouge stretched her arm out and made her hand bigger as she pinned him against the wall in his wheelchair.

He glared at her as he defiantly said, "You're too late! I've called them and they know what's going on!"

Madame Rouge smiled arrogantly as she said, "That's what I am counting on. In the meantime we have much to catch up on."

Meanwhile, Beast Boy flew to the rest of the Doom Patrol before turning human as he urgently said, "Guys, the chief just called me! They're under attack!"

Mento was stressed as he looked at Beast Boy and said, "I know Beast Boy I heard him!"

Beast Boy was worried as he said, "We gotta help them!"

Mento spoke seriously as he looked at Kranus and said, "They'll have to fend for themselves Beast Boy! Right now we have to focus on stopping this robot from destroying Logwood!"

Beast Boy narrowed his eyes as he firmly said, "No! They need our help and I'm gonna help them!"

He turned around as Mento tried to stop him as he said, "Beast Boy…"

Before he could finish Beast Boy looked at him and argued, "I'm going and there's nothing you can do to stop me! Just hold him off! I'll be back when I'm done!"

He turned into an eagle and flew away while Elasti-Girl confidently looked at Mento and said, "He can do it Steve! We can at least slow the robot down!"

Mento looked at her before staring at Kranus as he seriously said, "Okay, let's buy Beast Boy some time."

They charged forward and kept fighting Kranus, meanwhile Beast Boy flew back to the base and changed into a wolf and sniffed the ground. He caught a scent and changed into a cheetah as he ran down the hallway, heading toward the living room where the young Doom Patrollers were. The chief and Madame Rouge looked at the monitors and saw a couple showing Beast Boy on his way to help the others.

The chief defiantly glared at Madame Rouge as he said, "He'll will mop the floor with your flunkies!"

Madame Rouge was not deterred as she arrogantly said, "He will be no match for my daughter."

The chief's eyes widened as he said, "Your daughter?"

She smiled sadistically as she said, "Yes, she's nothing like her father."

Meanwhile Beast Boy arrived at the living room and turned human as he said, "Guys I'm here!"

He was shocked to see they were cowering in fear at people and monsters that were scaring them, then Gemini stretched down and revealed herself.

She smiled evilly as she said, "Hello Beast Boy, so glad you could join us. I believe you know my friends."

The three other villains stood beside her as Beast Boy said, "Elephant Man! Phobia! Candlemaker!"

Gemini smiled wickedly as she said, "How nice to see you remember your old enemies."

The third villain, Candlemaker, was some vicious-looking demon-like creature that snarled threateningly at Beast Boy. He had a dark purple body that was very muscular with broad shoulders, and he had sharp claws on his fingers and toes and sharp fangs in his mouth, with white eyes. He had black demon-like wings that looked torn at the back edges, and he wore black torn shorts and he had a small chandelier that he wore like a crown with the candles burning. Candlemaker snarled at him while Elephant Man growled and Phobia smiled wickedly as she held her palms up at her sides. She was creating illusions that were terrifying the others as she showed them what they each feared the most. Grunt and Nudge were afraid as they saw the scientist who experimented on them as he held a sharp needle. Flea was cowering by a small hairy creature that kept calling her "freak" as she was backed against the wall in fear. Lodestone had her a scared look in her eye as she stared at illusions of her parents expressing their disappointment in her. Beast Girl cowered in fear as she was surrounded by illusions of an angry mob insulting her with hate and fury.

Beast Boy cupped his mouth as he shouted, "Guys listen to me! It's not real! Phobia's just trying to get in your heads and scare you!

They kept cowering while Phobia smiled wickedly and said, "Facing your fears is always hard."

Beast Boy glared at her as he bravely said, "It's not hard for me to kick your butt!"

Gemini turned her head as she yelled, "Elephant Man! Candlemaker! Attack!"

Candlemaker took flight while Elephant Man charged forward, but Beast Boy dodged them both as he turned into a fly. He flew past them before turning into a T-Rex and rammed Elephant Man with his head, knocking him down, then he swung his tail and knocked Candlemaker away.

Candlemaker crashed into a wall but got back up as he flew at the T-Rex and yelled, "Burn!"

He shot flames from the chandelier on his head, but Beast Boy turning into a hummingbird and flew in different directions to avoid the flames. Candlemaker stopped shooting flames and growled angrily as he flew and tried to grab Beast Boy, but he dodged his hands. He flew over Candlemaker and turned into a kangaroo as he kicked him with both feet, sending him crashing to the floor. He landed on top of him but then Elephant Man came and grabbed Beast Boy in his trunk and whirled him around before throwing him away. He tumbled on the floor before Elephant Man charged at him, but Beast Boy a skunk and sprayed him, the smell repulsing Elephant Man as he squeezed his trunk. Beast Boy then changed into a Gigantopithecus and tackled Elephant Man, making the room shake and rattle, but Elephant Man forced him off. Candlemaker flew and punched the green Gigantopithecus in the face three times and made him stumble back, but then Beast Boy changed into a horse and turned around.

He kicked him with both feet and Candlemaker angrily said, "Beast Boy make Candlemaker angry!"

Beast Boy turned human as he smugly said, "You need to chill out."

Suddenly he was punched in the face by Gemini and knocked down, but he got back up only to be grabbed by Gemini's hands.

She held him in place as she glared at him and said, "This is my chance to prove myself to my mom!"

Beast Boy then morphed into a sasquatch and flexed his muscles out, breaking free from her grip, then he tried to crush her with his fists. She jumped back and then turned her left hand into a mallet and swung it at him, knocking him back. Then she stretched her leg out and kicked him in the face, then she turned her other hand into a sword and tried to stab him. Beast Boy dodged her sword arm and then grabbed it and swung her over his shoulder and slammed her against the floor. She pulled her hair back and stretched her arms out and grabbed pipes on opposite walls, and she launched herself at him like a giant slingshot. She kicked him with both legs and knocked him down, and he reverted to his human form as he groaned in pain. She had her foot on his chest until Candlemaker and Elephant Man joined her and they both lifted him up and restrained him.

She pulled Beast Boy's mask off and stared him in the face saying, "Prepare to face your fears. Phobia?"

Phobia smiled wickedly as she waved her hands and said, "Gladly."

She made an illusion of Raven that sneered, "Figures you'd mess up. It's all that you're good at."

Beast Boy was shocked but brushed it off as he smiled and said, "Is that all you got?"

Phobia kept waving her hands around as she said, "Oh we're just getting started."

Next to the illusion of Raven appeared an illusion of Dr. Register, before he transformed himself and became the Zookeeper. He had an evil look in his eye as he pulled out a huge needle while slowly approaching Beast Boy, who started to become nervous. Madame Rouge still had the chief pinned to the wall as she watched on the monitor with a twisted smile on her face.

She looked back at the chief before turning to the monitor as she arrogantly boasted, "I trained her well. Finally, the Doom Patrol will be destroyed, and Gemini will go on to one day be just like her mother."

While she was distracted the chief cleverly pushed a button in his wheelchair, causing to blasters to emerge from the fronts of the arms. They fired blue blasts that hit Madame Rouge as she released the chief and cried in pain as she was knocked to the floor. She angrily got up as the chief pushed another button that made his wheelchair transform and fly with more weapons aiming at Madame Rouge.

He held two control sticks as he bravely said, "You always did claim victory too soon."

Madame Rouge then morphed both her hands into maces as she yelled in fury and attacked the chief, only for him to fire all his weapons. He fired blue rays that blasted Madame Rouge through the wall, knocking her out as she groaned before passing out.

He looked down at her before staring forward as he vowed, "Hold on Beast Boy. I'm coming."

He flew away and left Madame Rouge unconscious, meanwhile the older members of the Doom Patrol were still fighting Kranus, but they couldn't beat him as he stomped toward the town.

Mento was stressed as he said, "We can't keep this up! Where's Beast Boy?!"

Elasti-Girl got up and confidently said, "Have faith Steve! He'll come!"

Meanwhile Beast Boy was still being held by Elephant Man and Candlemaker while Phobia made more illusions of things Beast Boy feared. He was surrounded by Dr. Register, the Raven illusion, some bullies from his past, and Mento who was lecturing him in strict disappointment.

Beast Boy shut his eyes as he desperately struggled and demanded, "Cut it out! I'll never give up!"

Gemini turned her hand into a blade with an evil grin as she said, "Then I'll put you out of your misery."

Suddenly Elephant Man and Candlemaker were blasted from behind as they let out beast cries of pain and released Beast Boy.

He was surprised as he saw the chief hovering in his wheelchair while saying, "Show them REAL pain!"

Beast Boy then morphed into a Therizinosaurus and slashed his claws, making Phobia's illusions vanish as she was shocked. Beast Girl saw this and was amazed and then slashed her claws at the illusion of the mob around her, making them all disappear into mist.

She turned to the others and exclaimed, "Beast Boy's right! They're not real! Fight back!"

Nudge then found the courage to kick the scientist and made him disappear, making her and Grunt happy before they took off. Locks of hair sprouted from different areas of Flea's body and they all destroyed the illusion of the monster.

She smiled gratefully and then eagerly as she said, "Thanks louse. Let's see what we can do together!"

She ran while Lodestone found the courage and destroyed her illusions with her fists before she flew, and Phobia looked back at them all in shock. Nudge punched Phobia in the face and knocked her out while the others ran at the other bad guys; Grunt tackled Elephant Man and they both went crashing through a wall. Flea stretched locks of hair from her fingers and restrained Candlemaker, but he roared in fury before he shot flames from his chandelier and burned them. She then severed the burning locks before growing more locks from her arm, they stretched out and weaved together to form one big braid of hair. She swung the braid at Candlemaker, slamming him against the wall, before he got up and growled viciously.

Beast Boy smiled happily as he cheered, "Yeah! Get em guys!"

Suddenly he was kicked to the floor by Gemini, but then he got up and turned into a hippo when she stretched her arm over to him. He bit her arm down and then charged at her, sending her crashing through a wall, but she got up and kept fighting. Beast Girl jumped at her and headbutted her before Lodestone flew and grabbed her and threw her against a wall. She got back on her feet just as Elephant Man slammed Grunt through another wall and threw him to the floor. Elephant Man prepared to crush Grunt with his fists until Nudge focused her power and held her head, making Elephant Man stop with a hypnotized expression.

She then ordered, "Kick their butts."

Elephant Man growled as he ran and grabbed Candlemaker in his trunk and whirled him around before throwing him through a wall.

Gemini was outraged as she demanded, "What are you doing?!"

Elephant Man sucked up small pebbles of debris with his trunk and shot them all at Gemini as if they were bullets, but she stretched her arms, legs, and body out to dodge them. Elephant Man then charged toward her but she jumped out of the way and then turned her hand into a mallet. She swung it at the side of his face as hard as he could, making him stumble and crash through a wall with a dizzy expression. Gemini was displeased when suddenly the giant braid of Flea's hair hit her and knocked her down, then she found herself surrounded by the teens and the chief, hovering in front of her.

He deactivated his weapons as he seriously said, "It's over Gemini. Surrender."

Gemini defiantly glared at the chief as she asked, "And why would I do what you say?"

The chief's expression softened as he solemnly said, "Because I am your father."

The others gasped in shock while Gemini exclaimed, "What?!"

Beast Boy smiled as he pointed his finger and said, "I knew it!"

Gemini was speechless when the chief assured her, "It's true. Your mother told me herself."

Gemini then despairingly yelled, "NOOOOO!"

Grunt then jumped and slammed his fists on top of her, knocking her out before he smiled at the others but Nudge and the chief glared at him.

He was confused as Nudge said, "Grunt!"

The chief then brushed it off as he urgently looked at the kids saying, "That's not important now! Kids, the Doom Patrol need your help! Go! I'll keep an eye on these guys!"

Beast Boy nodded and motioned for them to follow him as he said, "Come on guys!"

They all hurried out while the Chief looked down at Gemini; meanwhile Kranus was at the edge of the town as people ran in fear. He shot the heat ray from his scepter and destroyed part of a building before he was stopped by Elasti-Girl. She kicked him and made him stumble backwards before the rest of the Doom Patrol tried to fight back.

Kranus swung his scepter sideways and knocked them all away before he gloated, "Foolish humans!"

He was about to attack when he was hit by a purple beam, and he saw Beast Boy flying toward him with the other young Patrollers. Beast Boy was a Pteranodon as he carried Beast Girl while Lodestone flew and carried Grunt, Nudge, and the Flea.

Lodestone dropped Nudge by the others as Mento angrily asked, "What are you kids doing here?!"

Nudge firmly looked at him as she said, "We're here to help!"

Lodestone then threw Grunt at Kranus' face and he grabbed his face and started punching his armor while making noises. Kranus tried to pull him off but Grunt jumped to his shoulder, where Beast Boy also dropped Beast Girl before flying off. She tried to scratch the armor with her claws but could not damage it, then she and Grunt ran along his shoulder. Lodestone threw Flea to Kranus' other shoulder where Beast Boy was standing, then Lodestone flew at Kranus face and punched him. She dented his metal and made him stumble back, then she created a force-field to block his heat ray that he shot.

Nudge held her head as she telepathically contacted Grunt and said, "Grunt, clap!"

Grunt jumped in front of Kranus face and clapped all four of his hands with all his might, created a sonic boom that knocked Kranus back. Beast Boy and the Flea smiled and nodded at each other as locks of hair sprouted from her arms, the locks braided together to form giant hands. She used the giant hands of hair to rip off a piece of Kranus' armor, then Beast Boy climbed inside as a mouse. He quickly started chewing through wires, and then Kranus malfunctioned before falling forward while the others got off of him. He crashed down before his eyes went dark, then Beast Boy climbed out and turned human, Grunt heard something and saw a little boy hanging for his life from the building that Kranus damaged. He then hurried and jumped toward the building and climbed up the floors, he grabbed the boy in his arm and jumped down before letting him go.

The boy ran to his mom, then the Doom Patrol reassembled as Nudge proudly said, "Nice job Grunt."

Beast Boy excitedly said, "Way to go guys! We did it!

Beast Girl smiled excitedly as she said, "Yeah! We beat Madame Rouge, her daughter, some other bad guys, and a giant robot all in one day!"

Mento was suspicious as he said, "Don't celebrate yet. There's no way this was a coincidence."

They all looked at Kranus as the Brain's voice came from him saying, "Very astute Mento."

They all glared as Mento hatefully said, "The Brain. I should've known."

The Brain's voice then said, "Enjoy your victory, for in the end evil will prevail and you will fall."

They were all vexed before they returned to the base and apprehended Gemini, Elephant Man, Candlemaker, and Phobia with high-tech restraints.

Madame Rouge had escaped and Gemini was hurt when she looked at the chief, who said, "Stray from your mother's path, and you'll have a better, happier life."

She glared at him before she stubbornly walked away with the others while the Doom Patrol smiled at their younger members.

Mento also showed pride as he said, "Yeah, you did good. You all did. Thank you."

Beast Girl smiled modestly as she admitted, "Thank Beast Boy. He saved us and helped us beat them."

Elasti-Girl smiled proudly at them before turning to Beast Boy while she said, "No, you all showed you have what it takes to be on the Doom Patrol. Still, it's a good thing we called you for help Beast Boy."

The chief went to Beast Boy with pride as he said, "She's right Beast Boy. You really saved the day. You've grown up a lot since you left."

Beast Boy smiled modestly before slyly looking at the other teens as he said, "I learned a lot from my new team, which reminds me. There's something I want you guys to do for me."

They were all curious; hours later the Titans had already finished dinner and were boredly sitting around on the couch doing nothing.

Raven suddenly sat up and exclaimed, "Beast Boy's back!"

They all looked at her in shock as Cyborg said, "Are you sure?!"

Beast Boy happily walked into the main room as he said, "The boy is back in town!"

They all rushed to him as Starfire happily hugged him and said, "Beast Boy! You have returned!"

She let go of him and then the others walked to him as Robin happily said, "Welcome back!"

Cyborg happily fist bumped him as he said, "Give me some love dog."

Beast Boy smiled at them before looking at Raven as he said, "What's up?"

Raven looked away as she denied, "They missed you. I didn't mind."

Beast Boy smiled as he said, "Thanks guys, just wait till you hear what we've been through!"

Raven then looked at him as she curiously said, "We?"

Beast Boy smiled as he held his hand out toward the door and said, "Yeah, I brought some new friends."

The young Doom Patrollers entered and looked around as Beast Girl said, "Wow! Look at this place!"

The other Titans were surprised as Robin said, "Beast Boy…"

Beast Boy smiled as he pointed both fingers at them before hurrying to the counter as he said, "We'll tell you everything, but while we talk who's up for fruit smoothies?!"

Beast Girl happily raised her hand and said, "I do!"

Sometime later, they finished telling the Titans everything while they were tasting fruit smoothies Beast Boy made while sitting at the table.

Beast Girl happily said, "These smoothies are great Beast Boy!"

Grunt happily cooed while Cyborg cheerfully said, "Yeah BB! Lots of vitamins and really sweet!"

Raven curiously tasted her smoothie and was impressed as she admitted, "It is good."

She turned to her left and looked at Lodestone, who just stood and watched them all with the one eye in her chest.

Raven then held her cup toward her and offered, "Want a sip?"

Lodestone shook her head as she said, "I don't drink."

Beast Boy leaned toward Raven as he whispered, "Told ya she was creepy."

Raven was creeped out as she said, "You weren't kidding."

Robin happily gave the young Doom Patrollers Communicators as he said, "You're now all honorary Titans. If you and the Doom Patrol ever need our help, just give us a call, and we'll do the same."

Beast Girl was thrilled as she said, "This is amazing! We're Doom Patrol and Titans!"

The Flea was also happy as she said, "This is pretty cool."

Beast Boy smiled as he walked to the counter for a refill and said, "Yeah! Best of both worlds! And you guys can visit us anytime you want!"

Nudge smiled as she said, "Thanks Beast Boy."

Raven walked over to him and honestly said, "They're okay but they're even weirder than you."

Beast Boy smiled cockily as he walked with his cup and said, "Yeah, but they fit in with us. We're not normal, but we're cooler than anyone else."

He went back to the table while Raven watched him and smiled as she softly said, "Good to have you back Beast Boy."

Author's note: That's the end of that. I read about these Doom Patrol enemies online and thought it would be great to have them in. I've got some cool ideas for the Flea and Lodestone. I changed Freak's name to Flea, because "Freak" is just insulting. I also read how Madame Rouge and the chief were an item at some point in the comics, so I figured it would make sense to make him Gemini's father. It could possibly be canon. I also really wanted to do an episode where Beast Boy leaves like Robin did in "The Quest", and a subplot showing how much the Titans miss him. Please review.
