My Fair Lady

[The scene opens with a shot panning down to the road, snow is lying on the ground on either side. The tune of "Coming Up Christmas Time" begins to play in the background as a large carrier patters through the snow with Yogi commandeering the vessel, Boo-Boo, Cindy, Huckleberry Hound, Snagglepuss, Augie Doggie, and Doggie Daddy are seated behind]

[On the road, Ms. Frizzle is coming down with the children on the Magic School Bus. The bus gives its signature toot of its horn as the vehicles pass by each other]

[The scene transitions to Maple Station where Kana and Sandy can be seen resting in the sheds in the yard. Rebecca whooshes past with an Express for Elm while the passengers are seen going to and fro about the station. One particular detail in the background is Hardy Har Har with his back turned, donning his signature look of depression…right before Lippy comes from behind holding a piece of mistletoe and kissing the hyena on the cheek, causing Hardy's face to turn a light shade of pink]

[Other activities on the platform include Brer Fox demonstrating to Brer Bear how to get back at your adversary by using the sharp tip of a candy cane he was licking on a rabbit doll, Jafar and Hades are nearby, smirking at one another while Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash are chatting to each other, right before Pinkie Pie bursts through the door with a tray of treats, sprinkles of red, green, and white caught in her mane]

Pinkie: Gueeeeeeeeeeess who made fresh Christmas cookies?! I'll give a free try, there's no wrong answers!

Fluttershy: Um…it was you?

[Before Fluttershy can say anything more, Pinkie slides in between her and Rainbow Dash]

Pinkie: Coooooorrectemundo!

Rainbow Dash: You always did like making a spectacle, didn't you?

Pinkie: Yup. Who wants some, they're hot and freeeeeeeee!

[As if on cue, Fergus and Hansel come out of the station waiting room, the Irish fox in particular donning a cheeky smirk on his face]

Fergus: Did somebody say free samples? Don't mind if I do, lass.

Hansel: Hmmhmm, just make sure you save some for me, foxy.

[Cut to the Eds rushing along the walkway bridge]

Ed: Free samples, free samples!

Edd: Ed! Don't scarf down the whole tray!

Eddy: Hey, I call first dibs!

[Soon enough, many hands are reaching for the cookies on Pinkie's tray, three of which are revealed to be Krystal, Lady, and Jenna]

Krystal: I still say that one's got way too much sugar in her system. But, at the very least, that Sugarcube Bakery knows its customers.

Lady: I was never much for having a sweet tooth. On the other hand, this is pretty good.

Jenna: I believe one of you said, Sugarcube was a tier above my baking.

Lady: Oh, we didn't mean to offend, of course. It was just the-

Jenna: Hmmhmm, I'm not mad at all, I know I couldn't hold a candle to professional bakers.

Lady: Still, I know the girls adore your cookies.

Krystal: Speaking of which, are they still following?

[As if on cue, the triplets; Annette, Colette, and Danielle pop out of the station waiting room with little bags in their hands, followed by Aleu holding two larger bags in her right hand while a box of treats in her left hand]

Aleu: Hooooooo, you three certainly like to choose, don't you?

Annette: I mean, how could you not spoil such precious pups like us?

[Annette does a classic puppy dog eyes gesture, to which Colette copies while Danielle raises a brow]

Aleu: …Okay, maybe you have a point. I can do that too, you know.

[As the girls approach their elders, Jenna takes one of the bags off her daughter's paw while Krystal takes the box]

Aleu: Thanks, mom.

Jenna: Hmmhmm, no problem, dear. You seem to have a knack with these little ones.

Aleu: Yeah, even if they drive me insane sometimes, they're a lot of fun to be around.

Colette: She helped pick out this cute dress in town, I can't wait to wear it at the party next week!

Danielle: Of course it was pink, I myself like to go darker, so I went with a navy blue skirt.

Annette: I'm sure they're both beautiful, buuuuuuut I think mine just might be the best, as usual.

Lady: Now, Annette darling, let's be nice, shall we?

Annette: Oooooh, yes, mother.

[Lady tilts her head with a smile before straightening it back upright]

Lady: Good girl.

[At that moment, the sound of a steam engine can be heard as the camera cuts to Molly pulling into the station with a rake of red coaches. She comes to a stop at the platform on the left to drop off passengers. With the carriage doors open, the people begin to disembark. One of these just so happens to include Angel as she steps off the coach, carrying a green bag in her hand as she crosses over to the walkway bridge. The Pomeranian notices the group of canine women and waves at them]

Angel: Hey! I didn't miss much, did I?

Lady: Oh, Angel, I was wondering when you were going to show up.

[Once again, as if on cue, Peg steps out of the carriage herself, holding a fancy pipe in her hand. She makes her way across the bridge to the other platform and makes herself known]

Peg: This one gave me a little assistance with my bags before I got on, appreciate it, toots. Oh, speakin' of which, how's my favorite creme puff doing?

[Lady's face flushes slightly at the remark]

Lady: Ah, Peg, it's…nice to see you again. Life treated you well?

Peg: Oh yeah, babe, I've still got it after all this time. Mind you, didn't expect you of all people to find not one, but two gals of your own.

[Lady glances between Krystal and Jenna]

Krystal: Well, you could say that's on account of her being an exceptionally beautiful woman.

Lady: Ooooh…you were the one who got me out of that funk to begin with. If anything, I was drawn to you.

Peg: And I suppose the scarlet beauty over here got swept off her feet by the both of you?

[Jenna waves a paw modestly]

Jenna: I guess you could say something like that. Then again, it's kinda hard to resist these two.

Krystal: Now you're just saying that, dear.

Jenna: I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true.

[Aleu playfully rolls her eyes at the display while Annette puts a paw to her head]

Annette: Do they need to be so…extra?

Colette: I wonder if this is gonna be me if I get a partner.

Danielle: Nah, Annette's more likely to fall harder for someone.

Annette: Oh, shush. Though speaking of partners…

[Annette casts a sly glance at Aleu]

Aleu: …What?

Annette: I thought you had an eye out for those lionesses.

[Aleu's gray cheeks suddenly flush red]

Aleu: Uh-what? Oh, no, no no, don't be silly, hehe, heeeeeeeeh…

Colette: What's her name again? Kiara? Vitani?

Aleu: Oh, come on, I'm not crushing that hard on them…

[Aleu's mind goes back to the two lionesses through a POV, with Kiara having a bright sunny grin and Vitani having a sly smirk. Pan down to reveal the wolfdog-husky hybrid looking quite lovesick in her daze]

[She's only brought out of it when a whistle can be heard in the distance. Cut to Emily pulling into the station on the right platform with her coaches]

P.A.: Attention, passengers, the train now arriving is the four o'clock service heading for Toon City. Please stand clear on the platform as the locomotive comes to a stop.

Peg: So, since it's been a while, I was wonderin' if I'd be free to tag along with you gals. Make sure my old friend's in good hands.

Lady: [thinking] 'We were friends?' [aloud] Oh, well, so long as it's alright with all of you.

Krystal: I don't see why not, and Angel here?

Angel: Well, I haven't seen you girls in a while, and I wanted to show you some of the gifts I bought.

Colette: Ooooooh, can she, mom?

Lady: Of course, after all, our family is your family, Angel.

[Angel smiles in turn at this gesture as Emily suddenly gives a "peep-peep" of her whistle. On that note, the women board the train with some of the other passengers. The guard blows her whistle and waves the green flag. Emily gives a long blast of her whistle before she slowly pulls out of the station]

[The shot cuts to inside one of the coaches as Angel leans one of her paws against the window. She is seated next to Danielle who is currently fiddling with something in her paws. Angel looks over and raises a brow]

Angel: What have you got there?

Danielle: Oh, they're a collection of bracelets I got in town.

[The young Cocker Spaniel pulls out a bracelet with purple beads]

Danielle: I think this would look good on you, fits with that dress you wore a while back.

Angel: Oh…that's very sweet of you, Danielle.

Danielle: Well, it's like mom said, our family is your family.

[Angel modestly puts a paw to her face from the compliment. Cut to Lady seated next to Peg]

Lady: So, Peg…what have you been up to?

Peg: Oh, you know, doll, I may not be a princess, but these bars love the sound of my voice. Singing at these different venues certainly helps with the income. How about you?

Lady: Well, the power of stardom hasn't lost its touch, ironically enough. I'm still a recognized figure in the marketing industry, though I have taken up coaching.

Peg: How so?

Lady: Well, given that my name's been cemented in film history, I often take on the role of an acting coach for aspiring stars. You wouldn't believe how many times the spaghetti kiss has been brought up.

Peg: I wonder if it would have had the same effect if you'd been with a woman.

[Lady's face flushes red]

Lady: AHEM, I mean…I'm not so sure about that, let alone if it would have been possible at the time…

Peg: Or if it's even possible now, not that I'd care. You're attractive enough, why wouldn't I go for it?

Lady: O-Oh…you really talk off the cuff, don't you, Peg?

Peg: Been that way since forever, just like you've been the cute sheltered girl. By the way, how's the old lug doing?

Lady: Well, unless you haven't heard, Tramp's reunited with an old friend, or an old flame to be exact.

Peg: Oh yeah, I heard all about Buster's romantic fantasies, you never saw a student fall harder for their teacher.

Lady: Wait, you know him?

Peg: You ever hang around the gossip circles? Even back then, no one idolized the Tramp more than that man. I was wondering when they'd finally tie the knot. Of course, then you came into the picture.

Lady: Right…

Peg: Then again, I did tell you that Tramp was a bit of a shyster.

Lady: More like you sang about it.

Peg: It got the point across either way. Still, can't say that I blame you falling for him, the dog has a way with words. Not my type you understand, I could smell the fruitiness from a mile away.

Lady: So where do I fall in that category?

Peg: Oh, honey, you were an icon for that group before you even knew it.

Lady: Oh…you know, if we were sitting here many years ago, I don't think we'd be having this conversation.

Peg: Just goes to show how much can change over time, doll. Heck, I was wonderin' if I'd get the chance to speak with ya' period.

Lady: Well, I guess you could say raising three or four children, and gaining two girlfriends distracted me.

Peg: Can't say I blame you for that one, those two are fine as hell.

[Peg looks over at Jenna and Krystal seated ahead of them. The blue vixen and the Siberian husky catch the Pekingese's gaze]

Jenna: She's…interesting to say the least.

Krystal: Rather sultry at that. I imagine she might even give that Rouge a run for her money…hmmhmm, or her jewels, per say.

[Cut to Emily out on the mainline as she passes Daisy the Diesel Railcar going in the opposite direction. The two exchange a greeting through a whistle and a horn]

[Transition to an apartment complex in the city as Kaltag, Nikki, and Star pass by to the right while Glinda can be seen coming down the path before taking a right down the corner, Elphaba comes to the left]

[We then cut to inside of the complex as Angel is showing off her gifts to the triplets; a tiara for Annette, a necklace for Colette, and conveniently enough, a red beaded bracelet for Danielle. As for Aleu, she's busy in the kitchen with her mother preparing the cookies]

Aleu: You know, this shape just might be my favorite.

[Aleu picks up a snowman cookie cutter]

Jenna: Well, you did enjoy playing in the snow when you were little. I remember when we'd take you up into the forest and stay for hours, just…rolling around in the snow, your father carrying you on his back…[sighs]...how time flies by.

Aleu: Yeah…mom? Do you think I was ever…you know, a problem child? With how I could be kinda…impulsive at times?

Jenna: Why, not at all, dear. Sure, you could be a rascal, but you were trying to find your place in the e here.

[Jenna leans in to give a kiss to Aleu's cheek, to which she gives a modest smile]

Aleu: Thank you, Mom…

[Cut to the living room as Lady, Krystal, and Peg are communicating with Duchess on a screen, a Christmas tree decked out in the background with snow white tinsel hanging around the room, and an array of golden feline angels decked out on the table behind the Turkish Angora]

Lady: I must say, Duchess, you really know how to go all out on the decorations.

Duchess: Why, thank you, darling. Christmas happens to be a special time of year for me, so I like to be a bit, as you say, extra. Not to mention, it's a joy to decorate with the children.

Krystal: And how are those little angels?

Duchess: Oh, they are graceful as ever, dear. You'd have never seen such detailed wish lists.

[At that moment, Toulouse pops his head in the corner of the screen]

Toulouse: Hey, is that Miss Lady, I got that new brush you sent me!

[Marie appears next to Toulouse]

Marie: Toulouse! Mother is talking to someone!

[Berlioz suddenly pops up on the other side]

Berlioz: Hey, I wanna say something too!

Duchess: Darlings!

[The kittens look back at their mother, looking rather patient in spite of her raised voice]

Duchess: We can all share the screen together.

Marie: Oh, of course, mum. After all, it's only polite.

[Toulouse rolls his eyes as the camera cuts back to Lady stifling a chuckle]

Lady: No wonder Scamp gets along with you, Toulouse.

Toulouse: [waves modestly] Awww, shucks, Miss Lady, he might not be a tough alley cat, but he knows what fun is.

[Toulouse gives Marie a knowing look, to which she scoffs]

Marie: At least you know where I'm coming from, Annette.

Annette: Trust me, I know all too well.

[At that moment, Aleu and Jenna come into the picture as they pull up on either side of Krystal and Peg]

Aleu: Hope we didn't miss anything too big.

Jenna: Is that a new tie, Berlioz? My, my, what a handsome little gentleman.

[Berlioz sheepishly puts a paw to his face]

Berlioz: Awwwww, thank you, Miss Jenna.

Toulouse: Oh yeah, he's soooooo 'cute'.

Berlioz: Well, I am.

Duchess: Oh, we need to prepare for tonight, dears, we're having guests coming over. But it was nice chatting with you all once more.

Krystal: We understand, Duchess. You have fun at your party.

Duchess: Indeed, goodbye, darlings.

[The screen turns back to the call icon as Peg suddenly comes up with an idea]

Peg: You know, I might be the one with the dulcet tones, but I wonder how well you can carry a tune.

Lady: Oh, I, I don't know…

Krystal: Actually, I think she has a rather beautiful voice…maybe you could show a bit of that talent, dear.

Lady: Well…if you insist…

[Lady stands up from the couch and turns to face the rest of the women. Peg grins as she selects an instrumental reminiscent to that of the film "Santa Claus is Coming to Town"]

Lady: Oh, I know this one…[sighs]

[The other women wait for the Cocker Spaniel to start the tune as Lady pictures herself in the zone]

Lady: All the little cares picked along the way

Suddenly have disappeared with yesterday

Tossed above the fields and lost among the winds

My world is beginning today

[Jenna and Krystal smile at each other before the camera pans around Lady]

Oh, so many times have I walked this way

And never seen the little things I see today

[Cut to the triplets glancing at each other before it shows Lady looking out the window]

Never had my head so high above the clouds

My world is beginning today

[Lady turns around as she glances at Peg. The Cocker Spaniel approaches the couch]

I know something's gonna happen

But it's out of my hands

[Lady takes Aleu's paws in her own and gives them a gentle rub]

Things are gonna start snappin'

Without any plan

[Lady goes back to the center and puts her paws to her chest]

All the little cares picked along the way

Suddenly have disappeared with yesterday

[A twinkle shines in Lady's eye]

Tossed above the fields and lost among the winds

My world is beginning today

My world is beginning today!

[A small tear drips down Lady's face as she's given an applause]

Colette: You have a beautiful singing voice, mom.

Jenna: She certainly does. Sounds just like an angel.

Peg: More like a beauty. [winks]

[Lady blushes modestly upon hearing this]

Angel: I don't suppose you could teach me how to sing like that.

Lady: Hmmhmm, I suppose if you wouldn't mind a few lessons, I could help with that.

[A ding sounds from the kitchen]

Jenna: Ah, that must be the cookies.

Danielle: Yes!

Colette: Yummy!

Annette: Dibs!

Krystal: Hahaha, settle down, girls, there'll be more than enough for everyone.

[As the women head off to the kitchen, Peg hangs back with Lady]

Peg: You know, I'd say you hit the jackpot with this one.

[Lady looks back at the other women before glancing back at Peg…she gives a small smile]

Lady: You know…I think you're right…

[The two canines then follow the others into the kitchen to see the cookies cooling down on the stove. Jenna and Krystal look over at Lady and notice her smile. They give each other a knowing look before coming on either side of the Cocker Spaniel]

[Lady's expression turns to one of surprise as she's kissed on either cheek, flushing red before giving a modest half-lidded smile in return]

[Cut to black]
