So, first up, the two nurses took to Chaldea like fish in water. Sure, there was the awkwardness of being the new people here, but that quickly disappeared. The two even jumped in on having fun with the older staff and Servants, which earned me a facepalm.
Ivana explained that she took the job knowing that the school was probably cooked after what we did, and she did demand that Chaldea help give her a nice quick divorce from her husband which was provided. She had an odd skill where she could tell a person's injury just by touching them, probably due to her gypsy blood somehow? and seeing that she was a walking MRI/X-ray I wasn't surprised that she was scouted by Chaldea.
Seeing that she was alone she decided to bring a coworker and friend Shoko to join in with her, like Ivana, Shoko also had some Magi blood in her as well and like her, it was watered down through the years where she now could only do very minor stuff, but she has a decent skill in small Shinto Magecraft using paper talisman and the like
I did warn them that if they wanted to try out the twins it would be a hassle considering those fully exclusive to them
Ivana rolled her eyes at me but seeing that we were living with people who could snap us in half with one hand she got the message

Well, it looks like Jeffery's entourage is about to lose a few more people right now. The remaining four Magus that were with me from the first wave of staff decided that enough was enough and had somehow collectively agreed that they should steal the Holy Grails kept here to make a stupid ass wish to be the shot callers of Chaldea.
THAT, not surprisingly ended in pure and utter failure, I mean seriously? You guys are already on people's shit list and you didn't think they wouldn't have at least someone to keep an eye on you dumbasses?
And you know the worst part of it all?
One of these dumbasses thought they could trick BB to look the other way by saying that they'll help her get rid of the other Servants so she could have Ritsuka all to herself…
Yes, they WERE that stupid.
Hell, the fact that they didn't even get her to sign a Geas and took her word for it shows just how arrogant they were. Not one iota of common sense might tell them that this was a bad idea, and adding to the fact that nearly 99 percent of Magus are useless with tech you can see how this was gonna go.
They didn't even think that BB was just giving them enough rope to hang their asses as the four Magus WALKED DIRECTLY into the Holy Grail room. When I saw that I facepalm alongside everyone during the trial, GODDAMN some people don't deserve to live, what they were not expecting was Hassan, Dantes, and Skaði waiting for them in the room. It barely even took a second before all of them were captured and set on trial.
Fucking hell it takes a special kind of stupid to be in their situation and when they started spouting their crazy plans like idiots for everyone to hear it cemented their fates.
Heck even their posturing about the Clocktower not letting Chaldea off the hook went straight down the drain when the Director had one Barthomeloi Lorelei on face call, hidden until they started shouting before revealing her face on the very large screen, I had not seen a person turn pale white before and it was dang close with one of them fainted on the spot.
The Vice Director of the Clocktower gave them an even cold stare before informing the four that they would be returning to the Clocktower post haste to have them all be "reevaluated" by the council for their code of conduct.
I think all of them pissed their pants when she said that and in my honest opinion, these assholes were asking for it. Though I did have to hear Jeffery whining about it after the trial as he ranted like a madman saying shit about beta cucks, alphas, and all that jazz, dumbass tried to take a swing at me for "ruining" his plans.
Don't know if he was huffing some stupid drugs the Magus made but like the first time I knock his ass out, and I told him that if he tried for a third time then I'm going to break him in half and left his sorry ass on the floor, all I could hear was him ranting and shouting like a madman which made me shake my head wondering if I should drag him and the other janitor to Asclepius for a full detox because the drugs are removing the last of his brain cells.
Side note, I just got upgraded to Backup Master
Yeah?

Gudako had a building-wide assembly today, and I hoped it was something serious but knowing the gremlin I knew it was because she was done converting the Empire at War game into Chladea's 3D system.
And I was proven right when she declared that in two days she'll be introducing the game itself for play and anyone who wants to play can try it out. It created quite a buzz and almost everyone seemed eager which made me confused for a moment, until realizing that everyone here must be starved for anything fun due to being stranded for so long in the Grand Order and Lostbelts.
I kept quiet as she explained how it works, which was basically like a normal game of Empire at War but the catch is that the player and Servant can enter either ships, vehicles or people to be part of the war itself but in doing so will limit what the players can do in comparison to RTS mode.
Have to say I can see the appeal despite the complications and the fact she added that this one would allow Servants to be part of the Hero roster made it even more chaotic
She also said that there might be bugs so she only allowed Masters and four Servants for each Master to enter the game first to test it out, the Servants that were confirm in not playing for now were the Da Vincis, BB, Hakuno, and Moon Cells since they needed to monitor the game as we play.
At first, I tuned out knowing Gudako would probably play with Ritsuka but I was surprised when she also declared me to be part of it as well, making it a three-way multiplayer Galactic Conquest.
I'll admit I was a little touched that she would let me join in the fun with them before they got down to the real business.
Namely seeing which Servants want to be the first ones join in with the Masters in the game
Of course, almost a majority wanted to join in but Gudako had an idea for it, where every Servant who wanted to join and come up and put their names on, after BB and the rest would put skills of the Servants and had them be modified to balance them into the game.
Gudako wouldn't be part of the process to make it fair as she grabbed me and Ritsuka to hang out while the Servants did their thing.
You know what's the crazy part? Is the fact that despite being here for nearly three months I never really hang out with the twin Masters of Chaldea, I mean freaky right? Sure we greeted one another and there were times I stumble upon them having some nookie time with their Servants but we've never really spent time with one another.
It was what you would expect, the female twin was more outgoing and chaotic while her brother was the calmer of the two.
Have to say I wasn't expecting to be dragged into their orbit, I mean they are the two Heroes of modern times and I was a lucky SOB who happened to arrive when everything ended but even with the initial awkwardness we managed to have a nice time with each other, by the time the Servants were done sending in requests we were ushered back in where Gudako then declared the rules and functions of the changes in the game.
So the first thing was the Servants themselves, she said each Servant would have specific skills limited to about two skills each like any of the Heroes in the game. All of the said skills were reflected by the Servant chosen and for Casters they will be limited to their specialty rather than overall magic so if say Medea was chosen then she'll be able to only use her Rule Breaker on enemy planets or summon Dragon Teeth Soldiers but she won't be able to use anything else.
After that, she told everyone that she installed a boarding shuttle mod where every playable faction now has access to boarding shuttles. But unlike the standard version where you have to play RNG with the boarding shuttles she made it so that as long as the ships are weakened enough you can capture it as long as the boarding shuttle isn't destroyed and stays within capture range for a set amount of time, and unlike the normal game this time she made sure that the shuttles can capture all kinds of ships, SSD's included but you can't capture any Hero ships
I thought about it and wondered what she was planning because as it is I doubt she'll choose the New Republic if she puts in that kind of mod, especially since she said she wanted us to not engage one another until all other factions are under each of our rules before going in a full-blown three-way war.
At least I was confuse until she called dibs on Empire did I figured it out. Honestly, I kinda deadpan at her which she didn't notice. See if you choose Empire as your faction they have a system where you can replace any current leader of the faction at almost any time, which is great if you want certain units from certain leaders but there's also another unique faction system if you choose Empire or any Imperial Warlord factions.
And that's Legitimacy, where if you kill the leaders and the SSDs of any Empire and Imperial Warlords then depending on which faction has the highest military power the destroyed faction with any remaining units and heroes will join the stronger faction and if enough join then you can get the Palpatine clone as your faction leader, which comes with the Eclipse SSD.
That explained the grace period she wanted, It was because she wanted any free Heroes and Units when me and Ritsuka runs roughshod through the map so she could shore up Legitimacy and get Palpatine quickly so she could build up the Eclipse
Also explains the increased space battle population cap from 300 to 500 while adding the fact that I knew that only the Empire and New Republic have special ships only that faction has and I can see what her play-style is gonna be
The only problem was what Ritsuka was gonna choose because I nearly had a heart attack when he chose New Republic but that was shot down by Gudako who booed him into picking the only good guy faction.
Seeing the chance I quickly interject saying he could try Empire of the Hand or the Pentastar Alignment which were on the northern end of the galaxy map, where both have pretty good vantage points, and considering the ceasefire Gudako wanted it was a good place for him.
I grin seeing that he chose Pentastar because I've got plans for that faction as well and didn't want it to get absorbed too soon. I went with the New Republic which got a round of boos yet again by Gudako but she didn't try to change my mind since it was my game she was using, after that were smaller details about the newly modified game before all three of us went to pick our Servants.
We went in one by one, each choosing our Servants while not knowing who the other chose, I grinned as I picked my Servants, and seeing their skills I knew I had the right pick. For my side, I had Edward Teach, Anne Bonny & Mary Read, Francis Drake, and Sheba.
When I had my Servants with me they were curious about why I chose them, all I did was give them a very evil grin and tell them what I was planning. After hearing that all of them match my grin and as Sheba puts it
"You are an evil person~~~"
And honestly, I won't refute that statement
22/09
It was game time, and I have to say it was pretty fun. Though I think even Gudako was surprised it took the whole day for the three of us to take over the map even with the Servants. We were ushered into separate rooms so that we didn't know what Servants we had, those not playing got to enjoy the show in a different room or on their devices.
Now I'll admit switching from RTS to first person was jarring at times but getting to fly an X-Wing or commanding boots on the ground was a fun experience.
At the start, the New Republic has a bit of a sporadic force compared to others, a good chunk of it being in the south with a small cluster in Mon Calamari up in the east section of the map. Now seeing the new rules I had a very lengthy and complicated plan for the south, see, the New Republic in the south shares its borders with an Imperial Warlord faction called the Eriadu Authority.
Their playstyle involves big beefy ships to throw at the enemy and I wanted said ships, so instead of hindering them I pulled all the southern forces and focused west taking out the lizard faction there and turtle up. The reason for doing so is that I wanted the Eriadu Authority to build as many ships as they could before I jack as many of them as I wanted, including two SSDS the Bellator and Assertor.
While I did lose planets to the Eriadu Authority it was part of a bigger game plan as I made sure to draw a line at certain planets.
Sheba was the backbone of my plan since she has Clairvoyance that allows me to see enemy fleets and ground units of any nearby planets while also giving a hefty 25 percent discount for everything. See the New Republic's main style is mainly fighter spamming with very large tanky ships but with less firepower, so to speak, at least at the start before getting new tech, what's more, the faction itself has more economy-type heroes among everyone besides Pentastar that would help further my build with a voting system to elect different leaders with different bonus for any situation.
So I holed up in the southwest and Mon Calamari building up my forces, I did move upwards on the western side because I've got plans for that and my Mon Cal forces slowly moved downwards towards the Hutts. I made sure to go slow and steady so I didn't get Gudako's attention before I was ready as I checked on the twins' progress.
Ritsuka was taking it slow and easy since he'd never played this game before, seemingly focusing on fighting the Empire of the Hand first and going down west if the map was any indication. Gudako on the other hand was what I expected, she's mainly focusing on the Core worlds first while also taking planets that give her an inroad to all the Warlord Factions and I have no doubt that the moment the Warlords start falling she would quickly try and get any free heroes and units to add to her fleet and run back to the Core.
Sadly for her, I knew the ways how to counter that, so the moment I saw the Assertor on my borders I struck.
Quasar's spam was a thing of beauty as I had my bombers handle the SSD while I had Home Ones tanking any shots with their shields, after that were my Boarding Shuttles to take all the space units there, and that was where Teach, Drake, Anne Bonny & Mary Read shine.
The pirates would give any Boarding Shuttles faster capture time, while Drake would give increased firepower to ships, making my fleet very devastating. We made a full sweep of the whole southern border, capturing any and all ships as I could instead of destroying them.
I did lose plenty of ships because of it but it was well worth it because by the end I had 1 Assertor SSD, 1 Bellator SSD, 2 Praetor-II Battlecruisers, 4 Torpedo Spheres, 6 Allegiances, two dozen or so Imperial-I and II Star Destroyers, and a couple of Imperial-I Frigates.
All in all a good haul, especially when I did it in a way that Gudako didn't fully profit from, while I didn't fully get all of the planets I made sure that she didn't get as many free units or any worthwhile heroes.
After that, I made sure to have the Eriadu ships on the push through Hutt territory so that Gudako wouldn't see what I got. I didn't get much out of the Hutts but I did jack a few Voracious Carriers and Dor'bulla Warships to add to my growing fleet.
The pirates were whooping in joy seeing how many ships they captured and Drake was chuckling alongside me seeing the chaos we'll no doubt unleash on poor Gudako. I'll give it to the female Master she tried cutting me off through Kashyyyk but when my Mon Calamari forces blitz through the Hutts I made sure to cut her off from Hutt territory by taking Nal Hutta. Once I had both my forces meet up I went up towards the Corporate Sector Authority and went ham, by then I had managed to get some new tech for the New Republic which included better ships and my Viscount SSD which made this even more fun.
From there I managed to snag half a dozen Bulwark-III Battlecruisers and 3 Lucrehulk Battle Carriers which were very nice additions, yes I can build Bulwarks if I have a certain leader but getting free ones is so much better. What was surprising was the fact that the AI could build Ship Markets, which allowed the CSA to get any random ships every week, and from that, I managed to steal 2 Venators, 1 Imperial-I Star Destroyer, and 2 Interdictor Star Destroyer.
Didn't get the Battlecruiser but I think you need a special hero for that and I think he's in Ritsuka's forces but I did steal some Invincibles which was nice I guess. Probably will use them for cannon fodder to soak up damage.
Didn't get much from the Maldrood because by then Gudako had managed to break through and take over, only ships I jacked were 3 Crimson Victory-II Star Destroyers, 2 Tector Star Destroyers, 2 Imperial-I Star Destroyers, and 1 Altor Replenishment Ship, I didn't get the Bellator but I have a sneaking suspicion that Gudako snagged it before I could find it but luckily I made sure to give myself a nice small path towards Ritsuka through Zsinj's territory.
Now just because I had a good haul doesn't mean the twins were idle either, Ritsuka had the least territory out of the three of us but from what I could tell he was going slow and steady taking the north and northwest side of the map, knocking out the Empire of the Hand and Chiss Ascendancy while making a small inroad at Zsinj's territory.
A more simple playthrough I guess but it was Gudako's that was more amusing.
See like Ritsuka she didn't play the game despite having my laptop for a while, which meant like any first-time Empire player she wasn't prepared for getting attacked from all sides. Sure she wasn't getting attacked from the north, but there were still three other directions she had to defend. See I let the Eriadu Authority build up also because I wanted them to poke her from the south putting her on the back foot and with the Hapes Consortium harassing her from the east I bid my time before I made my sweep towards the south.
And that came the moment I saw her space stations getting wiped out from the western side, and there I knew the Duskhan League made their move considering they had a hero Executor SSD doing it I knew that would keep her busy and that was how I manage to make my clean sweep through the south and up east.
By the time I was done with the CSA and making my way through Zsinj's territory, she only barely managed to cut me off by grabbing the Greater Maldrood's and Zsinj's remaining territory which thus left her surrounded by my forces now.
So as the map stands I had the most territory surrounding Gudako from three sides, Ritsuka was chilling in the north while Gudako was sandwiched in between us.
After that we ended the session before leaving our separate game rooms, I and my team was laughing merrily as we had a ball of a time, and the pirates gave me an honorary pirate status despite us being the good guys' faction, Sheba while not on the front lines much admitted she had fun as well and grin seeing our victory in hand and the supposed 'prize' at the end which no one but those who made the game knows about
We had a small early celebration party before retiring for the night as we prepared for war tomorrow.
