King: This was supposed to be out yesterday! Damn you nature! Knocking out my power... Oh well.

Knox: Nothing to do about it now.

King: Any who, I picked the Servants I did because I liked them well enough, but maybe not as inspirations for full chapters at this time. I might use some Servants as inspirations, with a 'Jaune with this power' idea. So, let's just get started, shall we?

King flipped around one of the golden cards in his hands. "So… positive interactions with these things. I think I have one for that." He flipped it over a bit, giving the group the picture of a ruler card. "Let's go!" He tossed the card at the screen and it seemed to sink into the canvas as it came to life.

The screen opened to show Jaune as he stood in Ozpin's office. He swallowed a lump in his throat as the Headmaster sat behind his desk with his deputy standing to the side. Jaune didn't like what he was seeing.

Ozpin took a deep breath before he let out a sigh. "Mr. Arc, it has come to my attention that you accepted into Beacon using falsified transcripts."

This got Jaune's friends to take in a nervous breath. This was what many of them would have been afraid of.

Jaune looked down to the floor, shame overcoming him.

Ozpin saw this and looked at a paper, the transcripts in question. "I'll admit, it was rather convincing. But someone came to us and made us think to double check. We found the faults and how it didn't add up. I am sorry, Mr. Arc, but I'm afraid I have to remove you from Beacon."

Jaune knew this was a possibility. He knew he had to accept this was how it had to end. He'll be lucky if they don't choose to press charges for fraud.

"No!" Ruby was suddenly out of her chair and tackle hugged Jaune into his own chair.

Jaune was taken by surprise before everything clicked and he started to comfort her.

Ozpin placed the paper down but kept his eyes on the sheet. "And, I'm afraid that will mean that you and your team will have to leave for now. You're all allowed to try to enroll next year."

But Jaune stopped listening after one part in particular. "What do you mean they have to leave?!"

"Wait, what?!" Nora shouted, but her sentiment was shared by her entire team.

Ozpin knew this was about to happen. "I am sorry, Mr. Arc. But the rules are set already. First years require a full team at all times."

"But why should they get punished for what I did?!"

"It's unfortunate, but that's the role of leaders and huntsmen both. Both are upheld to high standards and their actions have direct effects on those around them. You are held to both."

Ozpin nodded, understanding his counterpart's point. "It's harsh, but it's true. But it's also the place of leaders to pick up the pieces they create."

Ozpin finally looked Jaune in the eye, "That said, you've shown a tremendous improvement since the start of the year."

As he says that, it's shown that Glynda nodded in agreement.

Ozpin continued, "So, we're going to use another rule. You'll be going through a sort of second initiation. You'll be given objectives and allowed to run through Forever Fall. If you complete all of your objectives, you and your team will be allowed to stay."

Jaune was stunned for a moment before he gained a look of determination. "I'll do it." No hesitation. He wanted to be a Huntsman badly. So much so that if it came to it, he could wait a year and try again. But he refused to have his team dragged down too.

It was general consensus among the Beacon crew that Jaune was a good guy. And this just reminded them why. He was willing to accept consequences, but refused to have anyone else take them for him. In a way, it was also to his detriment as it would explain why he put up with Cardin for so long, but the moment that he tried to drag Pyrrha into it was the moment Jaune finally fought back.

Ozpin nodded with a smirk. "I thought you'd say that."

The scene faded to show Jaune as he moved through the red forest of Forever Fall.

"There is a relic in a site to the north. You have two hours to retrieve it and return. However, you will also have a quota of Grimm to defeat. Larger Grimm grant more points, but it isn't necessary to focus on anything larger than an ursa. After two hours, wherever you are, a teacher will be dispatched to gather you. Make good use of your time."

Jaune took a breath as he walked. It had been fifty minutes, and he'd been having some luck with Grimm, but not enough to get that part out of the way. He breaks through the treeline and finds himself in an open area. It reminded him of the area where he killed that ursa.

Pyrrha felt a bit of a pang of guilt. To this day, she hasn't told him she helped him in that fight.

He found an old column standing in the center with rubble around it. It reminded him of the ruins from the Emerald Forest. He walked up to find a small golden box sitting on the marble. It was an ornately etched box with purple gems set at its corners. There was a purple letter K etched onto the top.

And eyes turned to King, almost to ask if he had a hand in this world. He just shrugged in a way that said, 'maybe, don't remember.'

Jaune picked up the box before a loud boom and shaking ground caused him to juggle the box in his hands. He was able to keep it from falling, but the force did unlatch the box's lid and revealed the contents within. Inside was a series of golden cards with various pictures on each. Each one was different. A knight, a spearman, an archer, a charioteer, a masked man with knives, an old wizard, an animalistic figure with a large blade, a figure chained up in a straightjacket, and a pair of opposing jesters.

Jaune looked at them all for a moment before remembering he was on a time limit. He closed the box and started to run toward the starting area again. He had an hour to get back and beat enough Grimm.

This was when that boom from before found it's context. Rather, the context found him. A large Grimm stomped into view, a goliath. That said, it was a small goliath, no larger than eight to nine feet. As far as goliaths go, it was miniscule. But for Jaune, it was still easily large enough to crush him without much thought or trouble.

Port raised an eyebrow, "I wasn't aware that goliaths could be found in Forever Fall…"

The teachers all look to one another. That was unnerving. Blustering as he is, Port is an expert in all things Grimm. He knew every habitat of every Grimm. The fact that one shouldn't be found there, means that something or someone put it there.

Jaune dove out of the way as it charged through and slammed its head into a tree. He spun around in time to see it shake off the damage. It turned again and spotted him, letting out a loud elephant-like roar. It was still a young Grimm, so it had one thought: kill. It charged him again as he ran off to avoid it. He tried to get to the trees to slow it down but it's smaller size gave it better maneuverability and allowed it swing its tusk hard enough to send Jaune flying. His back hit a tree and he folded back against it before falling to the ground.

The watchers recoiled from the impact.

Jaune shook as he got himself back to his feet. His aura levels being so large allowed him to take the hit and get back up, but it still hurt like hell.

This got Salem to raise an eyebrow. That could actually be useful. I'll keep this in mind. Watts might have some technology or something that can pull his aura for our own use. If not, everyone has a price.

Jaune staggered a bit as the goliath let out another roar.

Off in the distance, Glynda spun around from the screen inside a circling Bullhead to face her rescue operations partner. ""What the hell is that thing doing here?!"

Port growled and his eyes narrowed (somehow), "I don't know. Goliaths shouldn't be in forested areas like this!" Port pauses and looks at the screen. "Wait…"

On the back of the Grimm's head was a symbol based around the letter M.

"Merlot…"

Port created a fist and slammed it down on his chair. There seemed to be actual steam coming off his body. "Damn it. So that's what's happening."

Back with Jaune and the goliath, Jaune dipped away, only to find the Grimm's trunk slamming into him again. He was lucky it was a weaker hit and the angle kept him from hitting a tree again. His aura was starting to falter. He couldn't take another hit. Damn it. I need to get out of here… There was a pause in his mind. The teachers have to know about this… But this thing isn't giving me a chance to get through. Damn it! Jaune ducked away from another attempt to run him over. Damn it! Think! How do I get out of this?! I have to do something! THINK! THINK! USE YOUR HEAD DAMN IT! THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE GOOD AT!

Jaune's friends recoiled at his mental tone. There was clear self loathing in it but also genuine anger toward his situation. It was like he hated everything around him, or even himself.

"THAT'S THE SPIRIT!" A new voice rang out in Jaune's mind. "Get mad! Use that!"

Jaune jumped at the sudden sound. "Wha-?! Who's there?!"

"I'm in your head, genius. Or I guess in the box… Either way, it just pisses me off. That, and that dumb fake elephant. Pisses me off even more. So kill that thing already!"

And how am I supposed to do that? I can't even break through its skin, much less kill it like this.

The voice let out a groan. "Guess you've got me there. Fine. Take my power. Take out my card from the box. It's the one with the archer on it."

This got everyone but the new villain group members to jump.

Ruby turned to King, a little scared, "That isn't that King of Heroes guy, is it?"

King shook his head. "It is not."

As a breath of relief was let out around her, Salem took note. Whoever this 'King of Heroes' was, it might be worth looking into.

Jaune took out the appropriate card and looked into it. A burning passion seemed to light in his eyes. After that, it was instinct.

The camera moved to show the goliath as it was running up toward Jaune. The world started to slow as Jaune held up the card.

"Archer install!"

Fire erupted from the ground under Jaune as the goliath reared back in shock. The flames seemed to shoot off to the side before falling back in an arc to the origin point. This created a ring of flames and seemed to cycle into itself. After a moment, the fires died down a bit to show Jaune again and how he'd changed.

Jaune stood without his hoodie or shirt. His gauntlets filled out over his hands and forearms. A pair of pauldrons formed over his shoulders. His legs were covered in armor. Cloth wrapped over his hips and down the back of his legs, reaching to his ankles. All of his armor was a burning red, some sections even have a design like flames. His hair had smoothed out and down on his head, a small section of his bangs becoming red.

This look got Nora, Pyrrha, Velvet, and Ruby to stare and imagine the possibilities. Heck, they knew Coco, she could make something like that for Jaune.

Ilia was in a similar state, but hid it for now. She was still in the, 'what am I doing next' phase.

Jaune raised his open hand to the sky. A shimmer appeared before something slammed down onto him. A large ring now rested on his palm with his hand on the inside of the upper section. It was a large bronze wheel with spikes along the outside and fire tongue patterns around the wheel.

The voice from before spoke up again. "That's better! Should probably tell you my name. I am Aśvatthāman. I am the avatar of rage! Now, turn that thing into ashes!"

Jaune ran forward with the wheel held over his back. He leapt into the air and slammed the wheel onto the goliath and cracked its mask from the force.

"What the heck kind of weapon is that?" Ruby asked.

And so, King explained. "It's referred to as a chakram. His, in particular, is a bit… larger than normal, but these kinds of exaggerations come part and parcel with Heroic Spirits. It's meant to be a thrown weapon, but Aśvatthāman is a little… much."

The goliath recoiled and reared back as Jaune leapt into the air and slammed the chakram into its head. Flames burst out from the outer end and burned into the Grimm. As the goliath tried to right itself, Jaune swung the wheel to the side. With a quick action, a series of thin spikes sprung out from the more trend-esc outer ring. Flames spit from the weapon as he started to spin it on his hand. As he slammed it into the goliath, it seared onto the Grimm and tore apart its body on impact.

Tyrian giggled at the violance before him. "I like this one."

Jaune smirked as the goliath fell to its side.

Then, the goliath pushed itself back onto its feet. Its burns and gashes were healing. Once it healed up, it let out another roar.

Salem tapped her chair in thought. "Watts."

Her subordinate replied, "Yes, ma'am?"

"Look into this Merlot fellow. He may prove useful."

The Huntsmen in the room knew that nothing good would come from that.

This just pissed Jaune off. "Since when do they heal like that?!" What? Where's this coming from?

"Sorry about that." Aśvatthāman spoke up. "Part of being the avatar of rage. But, on the plus side, you get mad, you get stronger."

Jaune felt his eye twitch. That made no sense! And it just made it worse! Jaune looked up toward the goliath. He tossed the chakram to the ground in front of him. It started to spin on its own as fire erupted along the ring. The ring began to expand and rivaled the mini-goliath in size. Jaune was grinning from ear to ear as he spoke.

"I finally get what it's like to come full circle. To be so mad you can't help but smile!" The camera hung on his face before moving away to show him raise his leg, ready to kick the ring. "Sudashan Chakra Yamaraj!"

Jaune delivered a standing kick to the spinning wheel and sent it flying. The burning wheel slammed into the Grimm's face and kept spinning as it dug into the creature's face. It tried to fight back and push against the burning ring. As it struggled, Jaune had jumped closer, fist reared back. He slammed his fist onto the ring and pushed the weapon downward and created an explosion. Jaune was flung back but landed on his feet with ease. He raised his hand and caught the ring without looking before draping it over his back again.

Yang was wide eyed with her mouth hanging open in shock. Ruby waved her hand in front of her sister's face, attempting to see if she was still here so to speak.

The power faded out and away from his body as Jaune returned to normal. He looked back to the destruction with a slight heave to his breath. "What the heck was that?"

"That was my power. And now your power. I accepted you as my master. I bet the others will come around soon enough. Congrats, Master."

The scene changed to a painting-like scene of Jaune as held the box toward Ozpin. In the background, he spoke. After that, I told Ozpin everything that happened. Trying not to sound insane as I did. He believed me since they were watching my progress. He also said that the box wasn't the relic I was supposed to find.

"Wait. But doesn't that mean…?" Penny frowned at the implications.

But apparently it was sitting where the relic was supposed to be. He can't figure out what happened, but said it would count. I made it with five minutes to spare.

There was a sigh of relief that rang out in the room.

That was the beginning. Things just got more confusing as we went on. I was allowed to keep the cards, and this is where things went off the rails.

The scene faded out before returning to show Jaune with the cards laid out in front of him at his desk. Over time, he'd gotten to know four of them. As he looked them over, a phantom image of what he becomes appeared for the viewers as he explained the Servant in his head.

First was Aśvatthāman, of course.

The second one appeared not long after he returned. It showed Jaune in dark samurai armor with a cape over his back. His armor was accented with gold plate and red cording. Saber class, Yagyu Munenori, also called Tajima-no-kami. He was a loyal samurai and considered one of the greatest swordsmen in history. He comes across as cold, but he actually cares about people. He's just… calculated. When I use his power, I cool off and see everything rationally. It's like every distraction just disappears. He calls it the merging of Zen and the blade.

Kali blanked for a moment before she finally let out, "Oh my goodness."

Blake turned to her mother, "What is it?"

"It's just… the idea is absolutely sound. But to actually be able to block out all distractions is beyond impressive. It's the kind of thing that simply can't be achieved except by the most skilled swordsmen."

The third Servant was his Rider class servant. This version showed Jaune in a white tunic reminiscent of a holy knight. Armor covered his forearms and legs up to his knees. Red pants clung to his legs. He also now held a large staff in the shape of an ornate cross. Rider Servant, Saint Martha. She's called a Holy Maiden in her faith and is said to have met with the Messiah. Whatever that means. After she was exiled by the governor of a place called Rome, she wandered the southern area of a place called France. There she found a town being attacked by a dragon. Tarasque appeared behind the Jaune image. She calmed its rage and saved the people.

Tai sank back in his chair. "Okay, that would actually be pretty impressive. Probably more than killing the dragon."

Finally, there was the fourth. This Jaune was shirtless, again, but his upper body was covered in tattoos depicting an ornate dragon. He had gauntlets and greaves in dark metal, dark pants, a pair of armor sections hung from his belt on either side, and long white cloth draped over the back of his legs and center in front of him from his waist.

Yang chuckled a little. "That's two shirtless Jaunes now." Are you complaining? She shook her head as she tries to think where that came from.

Yan Qing, assassin class Servant. He's… loyal. At the very least, he seems like he'll help me. But Mercenary-assassin doesn't inspire my confidence. But I've gotten a look at his memories thanks to the connection we created and it seems like as long as we have our contract, he'll help me in any way he can.

Jaune's thoughts were pulled away as his eyes were dragged to the Berserker card. It was shaking again. He noticed this happened everytime that the Lancer card started to glow like the others when they opened communications. Lancer wants to say something, but Berserker seems to hold it back somehow.

Then, his scroll went off with an alarm. He scrambled to grab the cards and make his way out the door. He placed them onto a device on his belt. After getting back and opening his contract with Yagyu, Ruby helped him create a device to sort the cards as he needed. Jaune swears that girl is a genius when it comes to specific subjects: weapons and cookies in particular.

Ruby's cheeks turned a little pink. Both from the idea that Jaune thought so highly of her, and from the snickering that was around her about the more childish half of that.

Jaune had started to train with the cards he had and trying to open communications with the others. Right now, however, he had a sparring match to get to.

"Who's his opponent?" Weiss asked.

Yang sat back with her arms behind her head. "My guess is Pyrrha. You saw that Asva-guy. The others must be pretty strong too."

Jaune slid to a stop as his breath got a little heavier.

"Ah! Mr. Arc," opposite Jaune in the arena was none other than Peter Port, "right on time."

"It's Profesor Port?!" Nora shouted.

Port nodded in thought. "I can admit, this could be interesting."

Port swung his weapon over his shoulder. "I appreciate you allowing me the chance to test these spirits of yours myself."

"It's fine. Getting to train with a Professor isn't exactly something I could pass up."

"Excellent!" Port swung his weapon back to a ready stance. "Now. Begin!" Port charged forward, not giving Jaune much chance to think.

But thinking wasn't the hard part. He had enough time to decide his first move. "Saber! Install!" In a quick flash of light, Jaune was standing in his Saber form that resembled Yagyu's armor.

"A good start." Yagyu's voice spoke in Jaune's head. "My skills may at least give you the chance to get an idea how to handle his fighting style."

Jaune dipped away from a slash like a reed in the wind. His follow-up was a quick slash of his own, only to find the barrel end of Port's weapon. Yagyu was a powerful spirit, but in this world he was held back a bit by Jaune's limitations. Despite that, Jaune, while using any of his spirits, is stronger than average. It just goes to show how powerful Port can be if he really tried to be able to block the attack so effectively.

That got Winter thinking. "How strong is this spirit anyway?"

Knox was the one to answer this time. "He's not the strongest Saber. But as a Spirit he's still leaps and bounds ahead of anyone on Remnant. But, as an Install, Jaune doesn't get all the power. Still a lot though.

Port fired his weapon after impact and knocked Jaune off balance.

Yagyu spoke again, "It seems his instincts are fine tuned. He may be difficult to fight head on."

Jaune nodded mentally as he jumped away, his Install disappearing. He grabbed a new card and shouted, "Rider! Install!" He took on his Rider gear and held the staff upward before swinging it to his opposing side.

This got Port to raise an eyebrow before he was suddenly sent flying by a magic-like burst around him. This was Martha's fighting ability, and it was easier for Jaune to use at full power than the physical abilities of the others. It just required faith and a desire to help others. He had that in spades.

"Wonderful, Master." Martha could be heard. "You've gained excellent control over my abilities."

But Port was laughing as he swung his weapon back on his shoulder. "Impressive." Jaune took note that his coat seemed to be more loose. "I'll admit, that was surprising. But now it's my turn to surprise you." Port jumped forward and swung his weapon. As Jaune blocked the hit with his staff, he found the impact force had increased.

Is his Semblance like Yang's?!

Yang blinked, not sure how to think about that.

Port smirked to himself. Soon. It'll be interesting to see their faces.

Port jumped to Jaune's side and kicked the student to the side. "You'll need to do better than that."

Jaune considered using Yan Qing, but knew it wouldn't help. Qing was skilled, but he was designed for quick attacks and stealth maneuvers. Not so good against walking tanks like Port who also seem to have incredible reflexes.

"Yeah, that's fair." Yan Qing agreed. "If we could have snuck up on him, maybe my skills could be more useful. But this guy seems like even my Chinese boxing might not be enough. You guys and your aura stuff, I swear."

Jaune jumped away from another attack. So, how do I break through his guard?

"You break the rest of him." This voice was new. It was distinctively feminine, maybe in her late twenties to mid thirties.

Raven chuckled a bit. "That's a good idea for the first time in a long time."

Jaune wanted to question who that was. But then someone else spoke up. Someone loud, powerful, and just sounds not all there.

"ARTHUR!"

One of the cards on his belt was glowing super bright before the light spread out around him. A forced Install. When it was done, it was revealed Jaune was now covered in dark armor. Cords descended down his back from the bottom of the back of his helmet. His visor was dark before starting to glow red. As his head moved, it was as if the light of his eye tailed behind his actions a moment before fading.

The look got many of them to feel a chill run up their spines.

"There's something off about that one." Oscar mentioned.

Jaune groaned as he arched his back and looked upward, his arms up to the ceiling. After that, his arms swung to his side and he let out a primal, guttural roar. With that, he charged forward and reared a fist back in the air. Port raised a hand to catch it and did succeed, but he could feel the impact up his entire arm. As Jaune reared back his other arm, he forced Port to drop his weapon to catch this one. Jaune was actually pushing Port back and forced the larger man onto one knee.

Port growled from the strain and pain in his hands. This power is impressive. But Mr. Arc doesn't seem to be himself right now. Guess I'm out of options. Port smirked and started to push back harder. Steam seemed to come off his body and he seemed to be pushing back. His coat started to hang more and more loose on his body. Soon, the fat of his body seemed to fade off and reveal a more Huntsman-esc form. His eyes opened wider to reveal his green irises for the first time for many.

Yang raised her arms to question everything around her. "I'm sorry, what?!"

Port nodded with a grin. "My Semblance in action~! It's called Stockpile and it allows me to gather energy and store it as a more rotund form. As I use the energy I stored, I lose the size. I've just never had a reason to use my full abilities."

Port actually pushed back against the Berserker's power and started to even out in strength. "You're the first person to make me use my full strength like this in a long time. It's too bad you don't seem to be in your right mind."

Jaune let out a growl/roar as his arms shook from the shared strain.

"What's going on with Jaune?" Velvet asked, more than a little worried.

"His Berserker isn't exactly… together." King explained.

Jaune let out a second roar before he jerked his head to the side and finally gave out. He stumbled back as the red of his eyes faded out to blue. Soon, the armor disappeared into gold dust and flew away. Jaune was taking heavy breaths, trying to get a sense for what just happened.

"Back to normal, eh?" Port picked his weapon back up and sighed. "I was hoping you'd at least get it together and we could have a better battle. But I suppose I'm just glad you're yourself again."

Jaune was shaking. What was that?

There was a sigh from the voice before. "His name is Lancelot. I refrained from speaking to you before because of his… issues with me. I am Artoria. Since I know you'll ask, I hid my gender and came to be known as King Arthur. Lancelot was once my loyal knight, though he later fell for my wife and spiraled out of control, bringing ruin to my kingdom. He is remembered in this form and so he is more beast than man."

That would explain it.

"Use my power and let's strike this man down!"

Raven smirked. "I like this one."

Yang grumbled, "That's a red flag."

Jaune groaned as he stood back up properly. What class are you?

"Lancer."

Not a good idea. I can feel that Lancelot is physically stronger than you. If I'm going to beat him, I need to use less direct methods.

Port nodded. "An excellent observation. Especially if he is going to face me with that much energy used up."

"Then I offer you my abilities." Another new voice. She sounded younger than Artoria, colder yet still kind. Like looking out onto an untarnished field of snow. "I am Anastasia."

"Wait," Coco raised an eyebrow, "he gets a Spirit with the same name as his sister?"

"Yes." King didn't even hesitate.

"That's a weird coincidence."

"You have no idea…" His mind ran back to Astolfo, Medb, and Brademante who might as well be carbon copies of the corresponding Spirits.

Anastasia continued, "I give to you my powers. However, my abilities are difficult to use. I apologize."

There was laughter from Yan Qing. "Trust me. Master can handle it. He can use my particular skills."

Jaune dipped away from another attack before swinging a punch into Port's side. This was immediately followed by another punch to the opposite side with no discernible transfer. Then another transfer to a kick into Port's shoulder. Over and over from ten strikes. One final attack was a glowing palm strike that doubled as a way to reveal Jaune as his Assassin Install using the Noble Phantasm of Yan Qing, Ambush from Ten Sides: Cast No Shadows. Yan had an ability called Doppelganger that allowed Jaune to make it seem like he hadn't used an Install.

Blake blinked before nodding. "That would explain why he was such a legendary assassin. If he can copy someone's appearance that well."

Neo smirked and found a certain kinship with the assassin.

Port skid across the ground before getting back to his feet. He let out a laugh as he hoisted his ax back to his shoulder. "Not bad. But I still have plenty of energy!"

Jaune released the Assassin Install as he drew the new card. "Okay Anastasia. Lend me your power."

Anastasia's voice played in his mind. "I give you my ability, my magic, and the strength of Viy. Go Master!"

Jaune swung his hand with the card up. "Caster! Install!" Light surrounded Jaune before his form was revealed to the viewers and his opponent.

Jaune now stood in an ice white coat with feather-like designs to have it resemble a princely form. White pants found an end high enough to reveal a pair of black dress shoes. A long blue cape was draped over his shoulder and to the back of his knees, with a white fur lining. Resting in his arms was a doll in a white dress and cape that made her seem like it was matching his own attire (a dollified Anastasia). His eyes were lulled into a relaxed state, almost apathetic.

Coco let out an impressed whistle. "That's not a bad look."

"But what's with the doll?" Yang asked what everyone was thinking.

"How strange." The doll moved her head to look toward Port. "Why have I taken the place of Viy?"

"Wait, the Servant became the doll? And she moves?" Yang shivered a bit. "That's kind of freaky. But also, why?"

"Simple." King stated. "It's exactly like she said. She took the place of Viy, the original doll. Anastasia's Noble Phantasm is the doll in question and the magic it is said to have had. Hense her state as a caster."

Jaune stood there a moment as memories played out in his mind. Every time he bonded with his servants for the first time, she got rudimentary memories filled into his mind about them. The camera hung on the lower half of his face as a tear flowed down his cheek. As the camera tracked the tear, it showed the memory of the Servant's point of view as she was rounded up by revolutionaries and shot as a young girl. The tear froze over and hit the ground in time with the gunshot.

Most of the group recoiled or froze from the scene that was shown. It was the unspoken truth most of them never thought of. Every Servant was dead. And it was very likely many of them died in horrendous ways.

Anastasia looked back up to Jaune. "Master!"

Jaune was brought back to the moment at hand. He'd seen how all his other Installed Servants died by this point. Most of them were warriors: Knights, Samurai, mercenaries, and folk heroes. An exception had been Martha, but she lived to old age. So, to see a young girl, a little princess who never thought to bring harm to others, be viciously shot in cold blood for being of royal birth.

"That's… that's awful!" Ruby started to get choked up from how painful that was.

Jaune lifted Anastasia and looked into her button eyes. Meanwhile, Port had been waiting, but he knew he had to capitalize now. He rushed forward and swung his blade back ready to strike. As he got closer, Jaune's shadow shot up, forming a monsterous being, and blocked the attack. It resembled a large humanoid with a pair of rabbit-ear-like protrusions from its head that hung down over its face.

Port was forced to jump away from a counterattack. "And what's this?"

Jaune lowered Anastasia like he was cradling a child, like he had for his younger sisters when they were very young. "Viy. A spirit in the service of the Romanov Family. His eyes shall bring you to ruin."

Viy's protrusions lifted to reveal a pair of blue eyes like burning lanterns in the night, looking directly toward Port. It was as if he could peer into the man's soul.

And many in the audience could feel it.

Salem in particular could feel like those eyes could be a problem. It wasn't like the silver eyes, it was something else. Something more oppressive rather than dangerous.

Port's eyes narrowed, but nothing seemed to happen. Without anything happening, he decided to use his energy to leap forward and attack Jaune. However, he only found himself jumping forward a few feet rather than the few yards distance he should have. "What?"

"Under Viy's eyes your skills, your Semblance, is a non-issue." Jaune lifted his hand toward Port. "Without all that energy from your Semblance, you won't be able to escape this." Ice suddenly erupted seemingly from nowhere and snapped Port in place.

"Holy crap." Qrow nearly dropped his flask. "He can just… shut down Semblances with that thing?"

Knox chuckled. "Servants are next level powerful. Especially Casters. See, Casters are weaker physically, but they usually have some kind of ability that is entirely broken."

Port started to laugh. "Then I suppose this is your victory Mr. Arc. I'll have to prepare for such things in the future. Thank you for helping me realize this."

Port nodded, accepting. "I suppose that's true. Without my energy, I'm still capable but not as powerful as I could be. I'll have to keep this in mind, personally."

The scene faded out again to black.

However, before anyone could think it was over, a light blue streak went across the screen. The black screen split to reveal Jaune in a white tailcoat with the sleeves tied together past his hands. His legs were covered in armor before large spikes of ice extended down from his feet. Jaune was shown moving like a ballet dancer as he used the ice to rip Grimm apart around him.

Whitely blinked before he chuckled a bit. "It reminds me of Weiss's fighting style."

Weiss took in Jaune's fighting and had to agree.

A new voice played out. "You use my powers well." She sounded high and mighty, one could also hear some kind of sadistic self importance. "Then again, it is my abilities~"

Jaune rolled his eyes as he swung his leg back to stab a Grimm. Meltryllis, his Alter Ego Servant (the two jesters card), had appeared recently saying that she was waiting until he was 'good enough' for her. Her power is the Melt Virus, the ability to tear apart molecular bonds and 'melt' whatever he strikes with his kicks. The trade off was being unable to use his hands.

Elm let out a sympathetic breath, "Hell of drawback when you think about it. You get so used to things and then you just… can't. But you get a pretty broken power out of it."

Jaune released the power and returned to the ground normally. His scroll went off and grabbed his attention.

Letting appeared on the screen to inform the viewers, [Emergency Mission: Defend Chiote Village. The village was lost, though thankfully the civilians have been evacuated. Teams RWBY and JNPR are now to evacuate.]

The students and huntsmen were all quiet from the painful reality that you can't always win every battle.

Ruby's voice came through Jaune's scroll. "Jaune! The Bullhead is here to get us out! We need to leave now! Before the Grimm swarm."

Jaune nodded and took out his Lancer card. With an install, his appearance changed again. He was now atop a black horse with a white mane. Armor covered the horse's face making it appear almost skeletal. Jaune wore dark blue armor with black cloth with a crown resembling a pair of dragon's horns. He has a silver lance with red crystals growing out along its body. As his horse reared up, letting out a loud cry, the crystals broke away and began to spin. Chagrin through the now empty village, he busted through walls and Grimm like paper using his mighty lance Rhongomyniad.

"That must be that Artoria person." Penny referenced the Lancer from earlier.

Jaune broke through an outer wall to see the Bullhead taking off to dodge an incoming Ursa. Jaune could hear the pilot screaming, "It's too hot! I can't land properly!" He could also hear his friends on the ship, trying to argue this.

Ruby could be heard through Jaune's scroll again. "Jaune! We can't land! Get somewhere safe and high and we can come back around to get you!"

Jaune clicked his tongue, knowing this meant he was the only one to end up left behind. He turned back to find a tall building, an old temple building. That'll have to do. He charged off as his lance became covered by crystals again. He ripped through some of the Grimm in his way, but Artoria was a serious energy drain. He didn't have very long to make it to the temple. As his horse leapt into the air, it and his armor faded out as he landed in the temple's small courtyard.

"This is tense." Blake felt a little concerned. Some part of her knew he'd get out, especially since one of the cards hadn't been used yet. But there was something about that last card that didn't sit right with her.

Jaune ran off to the temple, climbing up onto the lower roof and moving to get as much height as he could. He glanced to the side and saw more and more Grimm slamming their way through the abandoned village.

"He just needs to get to the top of the roof and they can pick him up. Right?" Ruby was getting a little worried.

Jaune made it to the upper section and looked out over the ruined village. He got angrier at the Grimm for the destruction and ruin they'd brought.

Then, he heard it. "Wahahaha! It truly can't be helped, can it?!"

Jaune nearly jumped at the sudden new voice.

The new voice sounded feminine, older, and with a level of ambition. It sounded like an ambition that already fell through, though she'd taken it well. "Sorry Master. But I got nostalgic. Ruined temples and surrounded on all sides. But our situations are different aren't they?"

Jaune's scroll went off again. "Jaune! We're coming back around soon! Get somewhere clear!"

"There's no need for that Master. Make somewhere clear! I allow you to use my abilities! Show those bastards our power!"

Jaune drew the final card and shouted, "Avenger! INSTALL!"

"Avenger, huh?" Gira tapped his chair in thought. "So that's what it's called."

The scene transitioned to show the rest of teams RWBY and JNPR at the side of the Bullhead. Yang opened the door to look out over the village. They could see Grimm starting to swarm toward the temple. At the top they could see smoke rising and flames starting to appear.

"That's got to be Jaune!" Pyrrha called out.

Ruby turned to the pilot, "Get us over there!"

The pilot looked over the scene. "We won't have very long. If he's not there, then we might be able to risk another run."

"Uh…" Nora's voice rang out for Ruby to look back at the scene.

A strange creature seemed to slowly grow into form. It was a massive black-boned skeleton with six arms. A massive light-ray like item was set behind it like a glorious sunrise. It seemed to rear back a bit and let out a soundless roar. Soundless, until the beams behind it each let out a loud shot revealing them all to be massive rifles. Each went off and their 'bullets' of fire flew up before slamming onto the Grimm hoard around it. It was like an unyielding artillery bombardment from the skeletal being. And they could hear a haunting laugh in the distance.

Everyone but Salem's group was just lost in the craziness that they were seeing. Just what was this?

As the bullhead rounded the side of the church, they saw a man standing at the base of the skeleton's torso, also revealing that was the extent of its form. The man at the base was covered in black armor. His hair was long, red over most of its length only to end in a golden blond. He wore a long red cape as long as his hair, sections of ornaments connected to the top and reaching out like a beam of light from behind his head. He laughed as the Grimm were reduced. At one point, he noticed the bullhead and smirked before disappearing. He reappeared in the bullhead, now showing his increased height compared to those around him. "What took you so long~?"

"That's Jaune?!" Ruby shouted.

Jaune blinked, a little confused why this one changed him more than the others.

Jaune looked down to the scene as the skeleton disappeared into a fiery explosion. His grin faded out to a face of frustration. He hated that they had failed to save the village. Now, he had all his cards. He would be ready for next time. He'd train his Spirits alongside his friends. This won't happen again on his watch.

The screen ended by showing the cards and revealing each of their forms from left to right. In some ways, this was the beginning of a journey.

"Well… That's a hell of a start then." Yang tried to get the mood back up after an ending like that.

"My brain hurts." Nora clutched her head from all the craziness.
