King: Well... I tried to tell you guys, but you didn't listen to the rules. That said, the August Prompt Project was saved by reaching the minimum levels I told myself. I now have 15 prompts, so it'll be one prompt every two days. The first should be out August 2nd then. Thank you all for your prompts and your ideas. But seriously, I even tried to get in contact with some of you to get the prompts in through PMs as per the rule I laid down.

Knox: And the chapter?

King: I removed the note and this is now chapter 168 properly. There seemed to be some confusion, but I hope that clears up what happened there. Anyway, let's get to it. I hope you all enjoy.

"So, what's next?" Saffron asked the main crew.

"We don't know." Ren explained. "They will usually play at random."

"Unless we use the Archive thing," Nora offered, "but we have to ask for that ahead of time."

And the screen was already booting up, so that wasn't happening.

The scene opened to darkness as a voice rang out through the speakers, "I had hoped to avoid this." It was revealed to be Oscar, but speaking with the tone and cadence similar to Ozpin.

This caused Ozpin to take a glance toward the younger of the line of souls tasked to defend humanity. He felt bad for the young man, but knew that he had a better chance than the old headmaster did going in. Ozpin had to effectively start from zero and rebuild his networks thanks to living out to the same ages as his former associates. Everyone dying around the same time from old age didn't help the future of the soul line.

The scene finally opened on Yang pushing open an old stone door. She had changed drastically. Her arm, for one, was replaced by a cybernetic prosthetic. Her usual, asymmetric style had changed from 'party biker' to 'punch mechanic.' Behind her was the rest of the team. Blake now sported a white coat with black pants and tank top. Weiss was wearing a grey dress she'd attempted an escape from Atlas in, having run from an effective lockdown by her father. Ruby seemed to change the least, but did change her overall style to incorporate a less gothic style and more of a traveling adventurer style.

"We look so weird!" Ruby called out, clearly too used to their current attire.

Coco had to nod, "Not a fan of Yang's style. No offense there, but the current look is definitely better. Weiss is fine for a formal, but that makes sense considering. As for Blake…" She paused for a moment, "I don't know. Ditch the coat and it could work."

The group walked into the cave and to a large altar at the end of the hall.

"So," Yang started, "What now?"

Oscar knelt down and started to move some of the stones, revealing it to be partially made as a mechanism. He moved the last piece in before the back wall of the 'cave' began to lower with dust and small rubble falling down. As the group backed away, they found the cave to be far larger than they thought previously. Beyond the wall was a massive cavern, so large they couldn't even see the back or sides to either direction. Before them was an underground lake so massive it looked like they were staring at the ocean. Sections of the cave were illuminated by a strange moss and seaweed, or something similar.

Eyes in the seats were wide at the amazing, and frankly absurd, sight before them.

Weiss slammed her hands on her chair and shouted, "How is that even possible?! There's no way something like that can just exist without some kind of support. Stalagmites! Columns! Pillars! Something! How could something that massive just be there without seemingly caving in?!"

Ruby watched on, looking in every direction, "Where does it end?"

Oscar / Ozpin took a breath, "It won't. But that's to our benefit here."

"How?"

The reincarnated being took in a look out over the sea before him, shouting out, "Tiamat! I've come to bargain!"

"Who?"

Before an answer could come, the sea began to shake, creating small waves. Soon, what looked like a pair of horns began to crest the waves. The only concerning point was how far away they were. Then, how massive they were once the rest began to rise up. The curved, goat-like horns pushed over the water before golden hair pushed up passed the waves as well. The camera turned to the group, their eyes wide and staring up at something that began to cast a shadow over them all. Then, the camera slowly made its way around to reveal a giant female head peeking out over the water, with her hair flowing out past her shoulders and over the water. A hand rose up from the water and wiped her eyes, the other opening to reveal eyes so blue you'd think you were looking at the ocean itself.

"Holy crap she's gigantic!" Saffron suddenly shouted.

"What on Remnant is going on?!" Terra followed up.

Pyrrha just nodded, "You get used to it."

"The last one, I can understand. But this is just nuts!"

"That's the point of these worlds." King explained. "Anything is possible. Even giant women."

"Want to know something really weird, though?" Nora asked the two newcomers. "That's a girl version of Jaune."

Saffron and Terra were silent for a moment before looking up and then to Jaune. Then back and forth again. Before they both shouted, "WHAT?!"

The giant Jeanne looked down toward her guests and smiled before bringing both arms up to cross over the edge of the lake and placed her head on her arms, as though she was just lounging by the pool. "How can I help you, sorcerer?" She 'spoke' without moving her mouth.

"Oh my gosh I hear a voice in my head!" Ruby shouted.

Causing Oscar to take control of the shared body to remark, "Welcome to my world."

This caused Ruby to turn to the Oscar in the seats and ask, "So… do you actually hear Ozpin's voice in your head?"

Oscar looked around a bit but ultimately nodded. "Yeah. In my… timeline, I guess. The point is, Ozpin died and his soul got reincarnated onto mine. We're like a," he paused to find the right words, "symbiotic system, I think it's called. He latched onto my soul and is kind of teaching me to take over. He says I didn't have to do what he suggested, but when he told me what was happening… I felt like I had to. Try to help the world and stop Salem."

Said immortal witch just scoffed, "It doesn't matter what you do, my will is inevitable."

"Yeah!" Tyrian shouted in support of his 'goddess.'

Jeanne tilted her head to lie on her cheek on her arms and kept her smile. "Don't leave me waiting now."

Ozpin was back in charge and turned back to the giant. "We have need for your help, Tiamat."

The giant sighed and shook her head. "I told you that if you have to call me anything, it shouldn't be my full name."

Ozpin sighed and seemed to shake a bit in embarrassment. "Tia, please."

"Come on now~" Her grin seemed to grow, "Say it."

The shared body found his eye twitching before groaning out, "Mother…"

"Wait, what?" Whitely asked, confused. Finding his reaction to be the same across the group.

"Yes~?"

"Please help us."

"Of course! I'd be happy to help you if I can."

"Wait, what's going on?" Yang asked the reincarnating wizard.

Ozpin took a sharp breath before turning back to the team. "It may be best to get introductions out of the way. Students. This is Tiamat, being of the primordial sea."

"Don't forget the Mother of Monsters~ I'm rather partial to that one."

Saffron fundamentally refused to let that one go. "Aw~ I'm an aunt~"

Jaune sputtered at the odd reaction.

"Did you miss the part of being Mother of Monsters?" Harriet asked.

But Saffron didn't miss a beat, "Have you raised a child?"

"Uh… no. Why?"

"They're all little monsters. Even one as kind and well behaved as Adrian has his moments."

The giant woman returned her head to an upright position, resting her chin on her arms. "Now then, why don't you tell what mother can do for you?"

Ozpin turned back to the giant, "Humanity is in danger. By a hand not of our making."

Jeanne's expression seemed to darken. "Explain."

"I had hoped to not need to ask this of you. But an immortal witch has existed on Remnant since its formation."

Team RWBY had already gotten the rundown of this after their train was attacked by Grimm and they used the Relic of Knowledge to force the truth out there.

Ozpin groaned, never liking to tell the story or have it out there. There was always someone that, when they learned this fact, would leave and / or betray him to the side that obviously can't lose.

Jeanne's eyes narrowed. "Sounds like something my sons would cook up."

This, actually, caught the old wizard off guard. "Sons?"

"Yes, yes. Those Brothers of Creation and Destruction or whatever they refer to themselves as." She let out a sigh and leaned her head back to the side, "Honestly, those two were a handful before I fell asleep. I can only imagine what they got up to after." After a pause, she turned back to the composite wizard, finding Oscar back in charge of the body. "Did that surprise him?"

"Oh, uh… yeah. Kind of." Oscar nervously replied, doing everything he could to not let his eyes wander.

Jeanne chuckled and set herself to a neutral stance. "So then, what does he want from me, anyway?"

Oscar gave back control and Ozpin took a deep breath to right his nerves again. "That revelation aside, her name is Salem, and she seeks to destroy life on Remnant. We need your help to stop her."

Jeanne grinned as she watched everyone before her. She chuckled and answered, "I would love to help you all. But I'll need something from all of you~"

"Makes sense…" Qrow spoke up. "You don't get anything without giving something. That's just how it works."

"And what's that?" Yang asked the giant goddess.

Jeanne smirked and raised a hand to point at Yang. "I'm glad you asked, dearie. Here's all you have to do~ Ready?" After a moment of affirming nods, Jeanne continued, "Good. You see, being stuck in here is boring. But I can't just leave either, even if you blew out the side of this temple… cave… thing. Unless, one of you takes me with you. So to speak."

"Uh… what does that mean?" Ruby wasn't sure how that answer could be good.

"It means, I need to… hitch a ride with one of you."

"You're going to possess one of us?!" Blake was the first to put that together based on Jeanne's words.

"What?!" Team RWBY shouted in unison.

Oscar and Ozpin just deadpanned.

"Yep~" Jeanne responded with zero shame. "It's the only way out of here. You'll need to let me in to leave. But don't worry~ Unlike that situation with the farmboy, I can leave as soon as we reach a large body of water."

"Well… that's good." Weiss clearly did not think it was fine. "So… who's going to take her?"

Oscar immediately shot out with, "Not it! One extra mind is hard enough to deal with, thank you." There was a pause before Ozpin responded in his head, Rude. But fair.

"That's okay, little one." Jeanne pushed herself off the edge to 'stand' in the pool a bit more. "I can only join with those of the fairer sex. I am a mother first, a goddess second, and woman third. So, the top three basically require a female body."

This made team RWBY nervous.

Jeanne pointed to each one by one saying, "Eenie, meenie, minee, you." She finished her count pointing to Weiss.

"Me?" Weiss was too stunned to act as the event took place.

The water around Jeanne began to rise up and rush over to Weiss before she could react. The water began to swirl and bubble around the heiress wave after wave forced itself onto the bubble as Jeanne disappeared. The bubble began to shrink, seemingly sinking like a whirlpool to a focal point around Weiss. As the water swirled around Weiss, the lake in the cave disappeared. By the time it was done, Weiss fell to her knees breathing heavily, as though finally being able to breath after breaking the surface of the water.

"Is she okay?" Winter asked to anyone who could come up with an answer.

"Question I have is," Nora's question was a bit different though, "is it like with Oscar where they share? Or do one of them get to be in charge until they're separated?"

The majority of the room began to ponder this and keep an eye on the screen to see the answer for themselves.

Weiss just sat there a moment before slowly standing back up.

"Weiss? Are you okay? Please tell me you're okay." Ruby was, naturally, worried for her best friend.

But Weiss didn't answer, just stretching her back and hopping from foot to foot before almost tripping in her wedge heels. "These things are just dumb." It was Weiss' voice, but very clearly not her cadence of speech. The girl removed her shoes and proceeded to hop from foot to foot again with a grin. "That's better."

"Guess that answers that question." Yang observed.

Weiss just groaned, "I can't believe my body just got hijacked."

As 'Weiss' turned, she found Yang grabbing her collar and pulling her off the ground. "You have five seconds to put Weiss back in charge and stay out. We've had enough of this magic stuff at this point."

But Jeanne just laughed. "Oh little one, it would be easier to find you threatening if you were… well, threatening."

Yang's eyes turned red, her hands shaking as if she wanted to punch the goddess hiding in her friend's body, but couldn't for the same reason.

This made Jeanne bring her hands to wrap around Yang's, "That's quite enough now. She'll be back as soon as we reach the ocean. Then I'll be able to deal with this witch problem and you get her back. Win-win. But let me make something clear," her hands clenched down on Yang's with the face of a mother who's about to put a brat over her knee, "if you threaten me again, I will teach you why I am the Mother of Monsters."

Yang grit her teeth before letting go of the shorter girl.

"Good." Jeanne brushed off Weiss' dress. "Now then, what's say we get moving then?" Jeanne started to walk out from the cave with a huge smile. "I can't wait to see what you've done with the world while I was away!"

The screen used a fade transition to Argus.

Saffron nudged Terra in the side, "Ooh! I can see our house from here."

This got Terra to chuckle at her wife's antics.

The camera moved to show the team walking into the town, but with an odd change in the roster's attire. More specifically, Weiss / Jeanne had changed her attire. Gone was Weiss' grey dress and wedges. Instead, Jeanne had dressed the girl in attire, quote, more fitting for a sea goddess. Which, in this case, was a swimsuit top, shorts, and stirrup stockings. All of the items in question looked like they were made from some sort of fish scale.

Weiss' hands slowly raised before slamming down onto her arm rests. "What the hell?!"

But the scene got Yang to snicker before laughing. "Damn, girl~ Look at you all dressed up."

"Shut it Xiao Long! It's bad enough I got possessed, but now she's using my body like a dress up doll! Not to mention that I'm probably getting frostbite because I'm basically wearing a swimsuit in ARGUS! And why the stockings?!"

Jeanne looked out over the city and toward the end of the land in the distance. "Almost there. Just a little longer now~"

Ruby moved closer to the hidden goddess, "Um… Aren't you cold? I mean… it is snowing."

But Jeanne waved it off. "Of course not. Though Weiss may end up with a chill once we get to the ocean, but she should be fine if you give her a coat once we split up." Jeanne practically skipped along the pathway of Argus, gaining looks like she was crazy.

Weiss just groaned and buried her head in her hands out of sheer embarrassment.

Jeanne started to pick up speed as she got closer to the sea. So close. So close! I'm almost home! But things were rarely so helpful.

"Guys!" Nora ran up and wrapped her arms around Weiss. After a moment, she moved Weiss to an arm's length and looked over her outfit. "Yeesh. Talk about a shift. But maybe this was a bad time for that."

Jeanne tried to get out of Nora's hold, but being confined to Weiss' body meant that she lacked in the physical strength department. "Let go, please. And what's wrong with my attire?"

Weiss felt her eye twitch. "Maybe that it's on MY BODY?!"

"Yikes." Yang flinched from the sudden sound.

Blake felt the decibels shake her body a bit harder than most, her mother and Sienna Kahn being the only other person with the same hearing level she did. "Ow."

"Weiss." The sound grabbed attention to reveal Winter marching up with Ren nearby, neither moving nearly as quickly as Nora could. As the older Schnee approached, Nora moved to the side and by Ren and out of the way. This allowed Winter to glare at the presumed figure of her sister. "If this is a joke, Weiss, it isn't funny."

"Uh…" Jeanne was about to speak, but was cut off.

"Don't start. I know you. And this is likely not by your own choice." Winter's glare moved to the group at large. "Which one of you is responsible for this?" With the attention off her, Jeanne tried to sneak to the side and around this new face, only to find the older sister's hand grab her wrist. "I don't know where you think you're going, but I'm not done scolding you either for falling into… whatever happened here." She gestured to the clothes on Weiss.

Jeanne turned to look at the ocean. It's right… fucking… THERE! Jeanne let out a resigned sigh before turning toward the older woman.

Yang noticed the look on Weiss' face and could tell Jeanne was planning something. "Hey, hold on a…"

But Yang was cut off. Winter was pointing an accusatory finger at the blonde brawler. "Are you admitting to putting my sister in this… this… attire?"

Weiss let out a sigh, "At least it's nice to know you care so much."

Winter nodded once, "Of course. I understand it's not granted given our family. And maybe I don't say it very often. But I do care about you. Both of you." Winter used the moment to hug both her siblings close for a moment. But, Winter being Winter, let go fairly quickly.

Jeanne closed a fist and kissed her knuckle, creating a sparkling effect over her hand.

This got Blake and Ruby to look toward her and start to speak up, only for Winter to cut them off too. "Or was it one of you?" Winter pointed toward Blake, "You look like a closet pervert, I bet it was you."

Blake's face turned to red before she shouted, "A what?!"

"At least it wasn't about being a faunas." Ilia tried to make her feel better, but didn't succeed.

Jeanne nodded and tossed the magical effect to the ground, creating a pool on the ground. After a moment, the pool expanded and a small wolf-like creature pulled itself out of the ground. After it let out a roar, albeit a small one, the sudden appearance made Winter go into battle mode and Jeanne was able to slip away from the scene. The camera tracked her as a loud shout of 'Weiss!' could be heard in the distance. But Jeanne kept running, "Sorry, but I'm so close!" Jeanne ran full tilt toward the ocean. Toward her true freedom. Only to slow as a shadow formed in the distance. On the horizon, a giant Leviathan Grimm was stomping its way toward the shore. As it approached, the city was forced into lockdown mode, using hard light gates to create barriers to keep the Grimm out.

The scene made Saffron and Terra a little concerned. Grimm like that were rarer than most. And seeing it approaching your home was never a good thing, even if it was another world and you might not even exist. It was scary for the civilians, who have no way to defend themselves from something like that.

The scene made Jeanne's eye twitch. "No… No. No! NO! I will NOT be denied because of you!" She pointed straight at the Grimm. "I will rip you! In! HALF!" She was about to charge forward, but found a glyph barrier to hold her back.

Winter ran forward and in front of her sister. "Get back Weiss. Let Atlas take care of this. We can…"

"I don't have time or patience for this!" Jeanne repeated the process from before and tossed a pool to the ground to create another wolf to pin Winter to the side and make a run for it. The confused Winter could be heard in the background, once again left in the dust of the situation.

This caused Qrow to chuckle.

Earning a glare from Winter.

Jeanne was steps from the water now. Hell, she could jump and make it. But another glyph stopped her. "Oh come on!"

This got the Beacon crew, sans Weiss, to chuckle a bit.

As Jeanne tried to struggle, she was lifted from the ground and held in place by an annoyed Winter. "What are you doing?! Why are you so intent on running to your death?!"

Jeanne stopped struggling for a moment before looking between the ground and the ocean. "I wonder if I could…"

"Don't ignore me, Weiss! This is important!"

"Yeah. I can make it. Here goes nothing~" Weiss' body twitched a bit before taking in a huge breath and leaned her head back a bit at an angle. After a moment, and Winter's scolding in the background, water began to shoot out from Weiss in every direction before pooling forward and just barely hitting the ocean's edge.

"W-w-w-what the hell is going on?!" Winter was taken aback and fell backward.

As the water finally stopped, Weiss fell over in the glyph and began to stir. "What happened?" She then noticed the outfit she was wearing and her face slowly turned pink then red. "WHAT THE HELL?!"

Cue those with advanced hearing wincing from the volume change.

As the rest of the team ran up, the Leviathan stomped forward and began to charge a laser breath. As it unleashed the burst, it hit against the first barrier, moving to the side and hitting the generator and knocked the power from a section of the barrier.

This got Terra's attention. "Note to self, suggest coating around generator origin point."

"Why wasn't it there to begin with?" Ilia asked.

"Budget, likely."

As the giant Grimm was starting to stomp forward again, it suddenly stopped, looking around. It was as if it felt a strange presence. Then, a shadow cast over the giant. It turned to find a draconic hand grabbing it by its face and lifting it up before another grabbed it by its tail. The scene held on the Grimm as it was stretched more and more before being quite literally ripped in half by the larger beast.

Floating among the waves was a massive dragon-like being with curved horns and scales of rainbow tint. It looked like something out of mythology. Scales and sets of feathers made it seem like it had just crawled from the oceans to begin evolution into something new, yet unwilling to truly leave the place of its origin. As it tossed the two halves aside, it let out a roar of triumph. That sounded suspiciously like, "FREEDOM!" in a very familiar voice.

Causing the room to go silent. That wasn't just some beast. That was Jeanne. That was Tiamat, in her natural habitat.

This caused Nora to jump up, "What the heck?! Why does she look like a water dragon now?"

Jeanne shook and lowered herself to the edge of the shore and let out a sigh, speaking telepathically. "My apologies… um… Winter, I believe it was. But I had to borrow Weiss' body to return to the ocean. I apologize for making difficulties for you. Such was my need for your…" Jeanne stalled for a moment, looking between the two. "daughter?"

Winter seemed to turn to stone and cracked.

As did the Winter in the audience. "I am not that old! Why would she think that?!"

Harriet jumped at this chance, "Well, you do look like you've got a stick up your ass 24-7. The white hair makes you look old."

This made Ironwood speak up, "The stress of the military command often causes someone to seem like they're aging quickly. I'm sure my hair will turn grey soon enough with everything going on these days." It was an attempt to make her feel better.

Something Winter appreciated, but still wasn't really improved in mood.

Weiss spoke up, finally freed from the glyph and given a coat, "She's my sister."

"I see. Apologies again. Now then, I thank you all for taking me this far. I'll now need to take some time to bring the waves under my control again, but when I'm done I'll seek you out again. This witch won't know what hit her. Goodbye dearies." Jeanne slowly sunk back into the waves, her horns above the waves like the fins of a shark before sinking into the distance. The scene faded out with the sun and ended the screening.

"Well…" Ruby offered, "That'll probably mean we'll be back to this one later.

Knox nodded, "Probably."
