King: We return once more to learn. And this time, it's Ruby's favorite subject. But to deal with a thing from last time, I felt bad about leaving a bunch of them out of the last viewing, so I went back to the full roster. It is what it is.
Knox: Fair enough. I thought it was a dumb idea, personally.
King: Doesn't matter now. We move on. I hope you all enjoy and there will be another vote this chapter. You can find details at the end.
Inspiration: N/A
Inspiration Notes: I hid a few references in the story. Let's see if you can find them all.

King clapped once, "Alright, I can't help but we fucked up and the lacking viewers irks me. Back to basics." With another clap, everyone was back and he explained how he felt. Without much of a reason to do otherwise, everyone just sits back into their seats and returning to the status quo.
The scene opened to a mist-like form before parting to reveal a white base with lettering, [King's World of Remnant].
"I was wondering when we'd get one of these again." Yang smirked. "Gonna learn more about Arcadia."
"Arcadia?" May asked.
"Jaune's home." Ruby explained. "It tends to show stuff about that, but it's not guaranteed."
Then, new lettering faded in to show, [The Arcadian Armory].
Yang smirked in satisfaction, but then noticed the last word and braced herself.
"It's about the weapons?!" Ruby was instantly more excited.
"What's so special about weapons anyway?" Arslan almost scoffed, "If you ask me, if you can't deal with Grimm or opponents with just your fists, then you're going to find yourself with your ass handed to you eventually."
Ruby didn't take that well, "You shut your mouth! Weapons are an extension of ourselves! They're a part of us!"
"Exactly! If you need that extension, then you're just screwed when you lose it!"
"Can we just continue?" Yang really wanted to avoid a brawl.
The screen went black with lettering appearing as King read them aloud.
"Ten years after the Great War and the Founding of Arcadia, a Mistrali military officer is noted as having visited the fledgling nation. Upon his return, he is recorded as having said the following:"
The voice to speak sounded like an old Mistrali man with an upper region accent, "If we describe a wealthy nation as having roads paved with gold, Arcadia could only be described as having its gardens fashioned by bullets and fed by the blood of tyrants."
This got many in the audience to blink at the analogy.
And this caused Ciel to speak up, "That's… a lot to think about. I don't think we'd describe Atlas as having gardens of bullets."
King returned as the screen showed a wall of bullets, "Arcadia is the most heavily armed region on Remnant, not including Huntsmen Academies. The average of all homes in Arcadia will have 2.5 weapons on hand. These weapons are subdivided into four tiers with three major manufacturers. And today, we'll be going over a few of the more notable of these from the lower tiers. The tiers are as follows!"
A triangle divided into four colored sections appeared with different labels based on the tier and how many of each weapon type there would be. The lowest section was labeled [Civilian Weaponry]. The second section up was called, [Military Grade]. The third level was listed as [Custom Weapons of Significance]. The top and smallest tier was listed as [Legendary Weapons].
Ruby's eyes were glued to the top of the pyramid, "Legendary Weapons? I have to know what they are!"
"First thing's first. The Civilian Level Weapons. These are divided among three manufacturers, each specializing in a certain area."
Three symbols appeared on the screen and would glow with each that King described.
"The first one is The Arcadian Forgeworks." The symbol appearing was an anvil with a hammer striking the top with what seemed like sparks flying off. "The Forgeworks specialize in martial weapons with occasional old-school weaponry. They make swords, spears, axes, bows, crossbows, maces, flails, etcetera, etcetera. Basically, if you'd see it in the hands of a knight, they make it. However, because they're so simple, I don't really have much to explain. Most of their weapons are hand forged or made using specialist molds, but they're usually pretty cheap compared to similar processes in other regions thanks to the owner, Paladin Marius Rein, having developed a more streamlined process."
"Oh cool!" Sun smirked, "I remember that guy. He's the short guy with the huge beard."
"Weird way to remember a guy." Neptune commented.
"We barely saw him, that's the only way I could."
"The second is Banner Made." The symbol showed a silhouette of a woman with a banner flag held up in her hand. "Banner Made is a firearms company specializing in civilian level guns. These include hunting rifles, handguns including revolvers, and the occasional outliers like semi-auto rifles and making one assault rifle."
"Civilian level firearms?" Penny tilted her head in thought. "What differentiates the two levels?"
But no one really had a specific answer. Afterall, everything they suggested could easily be made into military grade combat weapons.
"And finally, we have the Arcadian Decommission Office." This symbol showed the sword and arcs symbol one would see on the Arcadian flag, with a banner reading [Honor and Strength for All]. "The ADO specializes in retrofitting decommissioned military weapons into versions that can be used by the public."
Ironwood narrowed his eyes, "That sounds… concerning."
Winter nodded, "I agree wholeheartedly."
Ironwood couldn't help but wonder out loud, however, "Perhaps it could be a cultural difference that would let them allow that, let alone think it's a good idea. Then again, settlements are known to have weapons in more hands than in kingdoms, but Arcadia isn't a normal settlement and has a standing army."
"Well, since Forgeworks weapons are all super simple and unremarkable, we'll only really start talking about the other two. Forgeworks do make some custom weapons and at least two of the Legends, so they'll get their chance in the spotlight."
The scene changed to a wall of weapons on various hooks and racks. Then, a representation of King walked into frame and picked one off the wall. He placed it onto a table that the camera zoomed in and focused on. It was a military-like handgun with a basic slide and magazine, mostly silver in color. (Think the Model 1911)
"First we have the H-19. A simple and reliable handgun commonly referred to as the Model 19. This handgun tracks back to the Second Reign."
"Second Reign?" Nora turned to Jaune to explain.
"When my great-grandfather Octavious was in charge."
"Thank you!"
"It's the oldest active handgun in use. The nineteenth model of the H-class designation, it's been outmoded since but it's been so reliable as a design that it outlived its replacements."
This got Ironwood to nod in appreciation, "That is rather impressive, though. I'd prefer models like that instead of Atlas' system."
Winter sighed and her head sank down a bit, "Councillor Ramond and his damned low bidder system."
King moved the gun and replaced it with a new one. This one was boxier and more of a darker color with a streamlined style and almost stylish design. Not as iconic as the Model 19, but it looked like the kind of thing that would draw a few eyes. (It's a glock)
"The G-13 is the newest model of handgun in Arcadia. This particular style is the thirteenth model of its type. This particular type doesn't have an official naming scheme and was nicknamed Lucky 13 by users. It tends toward having a 13 bullet magazine with good recoil control. Its stopping power is okay, but nothing to sneeze at either. It's the only handgun type currently active that challenges the popularity of the Model 19. Some of the older police and military swear by the H-19, but current members of each tend toward the G-13."
"So it's a generational thing?" Blake observed, mostly thinking out loud.
"Probably whichever they got used to." Yang offered.
The next gun was a stereotypical silver revolver. It had a nice inlay, but nothing too intrusive. It had a nice wood grip with a six shot barrel chamber. Overall, pretty simple.
"Then we have the R-2 Peacekeeper. A simple revolver with a simple purpose. Six shots with good stopping power. And most importantly, reliable. The R-2 was so reliable and useful it was iterated into the R-2-2 Preacher."
King placed another revolver on the table and showed a very similar handgun, just a bit longer and with a modified chamber.
"The Preacher variant uses a smaller caliber and is more precise than the Peacekeeper. This has made it a preferred version for some, but it's ultimately the same gun when you get down to it. And, if you can believe it, this wasn't the last Revolver made by Banner Made."
"How many are there anyway?" Yang asked as one of the few fans of westerns in the room. She was, as a result, interested in that particular style of gun.
Two more handguns were placed on the table. One was a slightly larger gun with a more rounded and smooth cylinder with a more streamlined design rather than having any kind of ornamentation.
"The first was the R-3 Rancher. Marketed as the farmers' gun, it has high stopping power and an eight bullet chamber for maximum power output. Of course, there is a drawback in recoil and kickback. It was, as a result, only really picked up by the intended demographic of hardy farmhands. You needed plenty of arm strength to wield this gun, but that still pales in comparison to…"
The second gun was more accurately described as a hand cannon. A huge caliber handgun with black metal finish and some silver along the barrel. It was a monster of a gun in human hands and looked like death with a six bullet cylinder.
"The Undertaker. The R-4, and the latest revolver in Banner Made's catalog is its most powerful and easily the most cowboy gun they ever made. It uses a basic caliber, six shot cylinder, and a quick shot hammer makes it ideal for the wannabe gunslinger."
Tai couldn't help but give out an impressed whistle, being the other western lover in the room. "Now that's a crazy gun. But it does make me have to ask, the others seem to have double digit iterations, why are there only like… four and a half versions of revolvers?"
This just got a shrug from anyone that might be able to answer.
As King put the handguns away, he pulled down a bolt action hunting rifle. It was a basic black carbon finish along with a black metal barrel and bolt. It was as basic could get for a single shot civilian weapon.
"And here we have the B-5. No nicknames or anything, it's just the B-5. This is the premier hunting rifle in Arcadia and its basic design makes it easy to manufacture. Sure, it's simple, but it's effective. And when you're looking to put food on your table, that's all that matters."
"He's got a point." Oscar, a farmer, understood the importance of simplicity and effectiveness. It didn't matter how pretty it was, it was whether it got the job done.
The B-5 was replaced by another rifle. This one had a wood body with a simple clip loader. It was a nice design, but didn't quite feel like anything special. "And here we have the B-8. Again, no special name. But its sibling," Another rifle was placed on the table, the same style but with a sleeker carbon fiber body, "the B-8-2 is often referred to as the Type 82. These rifles are semi-automatic by nature, but the Type 82 has full auto modes. These are very much militia weapons most often sold in smaller settlements.
Ironwood was about to say something, but he did see value in settlements setting up militias to fight the Grimm and any bandits. It made sense, but it still sat oddly with him.
"We'll move on to the next set." King moved the set and a new table was in front of him. The camera kept downward as his hands slammed on the counter. "Now, we're talking the ADO. Their mission is to take old military weapons that have been retired and refitting them for civilian use. They're kind of like a weapon adoption agency."
This got a snicker out of Ruby.
"Each of the weapons had a standard designation from the military, but each has been renamed by the ADO for the new format. So, let's start with…" The first of these new types of weapons was a sleek assault rifle. It looked like the kind of rifle that would be brought into jungles and deserts equally in use. "The M-A-16 Assault Rifle. Nicknamed the Fortunate Sun, this rifle comes standard with three round burst but can be modified to use single or full auto modes. Some of these rifles even come with all three standard."
Ironwood nodded, "Simple but effective. But hardly anything impressive in the modern age. Fire select is standard nowadays."
"It's an older firearm." Ozpin offered. "Regardless, it isn't a contest James."
"Next," King replaced the gun with a stubby submachine gun with three barrels. It didn't look too crazy beyond the barrels, but the mechanisms seemed to infer that the barrels could spin in some way. "We have the M-P-3 Cerberus. A three barreled submachine gun, it was designed for fire rate using simple ammunition. Not many of these are still in operation given how expensive they can get over time."
"That's fair." Ren had a moment of sage-like understanding. His own weapons had a high fire rate and could get expensive if he wasn't careful.
King moved on to another submachine gun. This one looked a bit more normal. It was a bit larger and boxier than the last one. It had more for a stock and what looked like a top loaded magazine under the optical railing. "The M-P-8 Bulldog is a marvel of simplicity, but goddamn it has a rate of fire issue. Too much too quick. This thing is a saw masquerading as a gun and can separate a Beowolf's head from its shoulders in under two seconds. Seriously, it's kind of nuts. The rounds are smaller than standard, but it gets shit done."
"I'm seeing a pattern with their SMGs." Harriet crossed her arms, tapping her foot on the ground.
Arslan just huffed, "Another reason that weapons aren't worth the effort. Your fists don't cost money and they're as strong as you make them."
Ruby turned to the girl with a glare. It was clear a rivalry had been made.
"Next, we have a couple sniper rifles."
This got Ruby's attention back on the screen.
King placed a large sniper rifle on the table, a basic wood stock and simple barrel denoted it as being old. Great War era old. "We start with the M-S-2 Headsman. A classic in operation and really only in use thanks to nostalgia. It's accurate and reliable, keeping it on market, particularly in border regions and nearby settlements. This puppy can take out a target at an effective range of about 550 yards. You can get about 3000 yards out of it, but you lose out overall."
"How about that, huh?" Ruby challenged her new rival, "Can your fists hit something at ranges like that?"
"If you're good, you don't end up in that situation." But Arslan wasn't biting.
This got Ruby to growl and hold her hands up like she wanted to strangle her, but the fact that she wasn't losing energy proved she wasn't actually going to.
"Then… there's the big one." King replaced the old war rifle with a massive piece of modern tech. A .50 caliber monster with a bolt action fire rate and a heavy duty design philosophy. "Behold, the M-S-23 Reaper."
"Well that was a jump." Yang voiced. "That's like… what? 21 versions of difference?"
"It certainly looks it." Coco actually lowered her glasses to get a real look at it.
"The Reaper can bullseye a target at 2000 yards using .50 caliber bullets. This thing is barely allowed in civilian hands and you need a special license just to own it. This thing is designed for taking down big Grimm with a single shot. Now, GRANTED! The old M-S-23 was semi-automatic, but the Reaper was modified to be sold into a bolt action."
"What's that part about a license?" Ruby asked Jaune.
And Jaune was able to answer, "In Arcadia, there are certain weapons that require special licenses. They're usually the big guns, so to speak."
The unintended pun got a snicker out of Yang.
"And we move to the shotguns with the M-H-4 Hammerhead." He placed a classic double barreled shotgun on the table. The handle, however, was a more modern carbon fiber black. "This baby is a nice 12 gauge based on a classic weapon. The Hammerhead is a basic two barrel gun using a break action. It's a clean reminder of the past made for the modern era."
King moved the gun to show a new shotgun. This one was a boxier pump action shotgun. It looked like it was breech loaded on the upper side and easily a heavier ammo type given the style. "We have the M-H-5 Badger. This gun is just stupid. Another one that requires a Heavy Weapons' License, this bitch loads with 6 gauge shells. It's designed for killing armored Grimm and likely your shoulder if you're not up to it."
Yang grinned and rolled her wrist, "Now there's an idea. Maybe Ember Celica needs an upgrade~"
"Now, this is the part where I'd move on to the next stage, but that's all military grade weaponry. Just imagine these weapons, but more… official. So, we're moving to a few of Arcadia's famous named weapons. These weapons are either modified or are completely custom, but they're all one of a kind and given names by their owners. Begin!"
The table changed again and a large drum-fed grenade launcher was placed on the counter. It was primarily red and gold in color and seemingly fashioned based on a machine gun.
The sight of the gun made the Ace Ops recoil in a phantom pain. They remember that gun because a few of them took some of those shells to the face.
"Scion. A drum-fed grenade launcher in the hands of one Kassius Kahn, most loyal retainer of House Arc. His words."
"Are you going to say that every time?" Sun turned to King, who just shrugged and didn't bother elaborating.
"This weapon can fire custom shell grenades at a rate of 5 shots per second. That's not a lot, but it's semi-automatic and a FUCKING GRENADE LAUNCHER! Close enough counts in those situations."
"I mean… that's faster than most grenade launchers." Ciel pointed out. How big is the magazine?"
King answered, since he knew his counterpart wouldn't, "20 shells. And to be fair, they're more like mini-artillery shells instead of grenades."
King replaced the weapon on the table with an Atlassian Marksman's rifle, specifically a Tremor Rifle. It's a bolt action weapon with high stopping power and accuracy in exchange for recoil like an earthquake. "The rifle of the White Death, Simone Arc. It's called Snowgrave. Simone modified her rifle to fire as normal with bolt action, but a special mode shift allows her to fire five shots in semi-automatic with no loss in power. This is used in tandem with her Semblance, Killshot, to take out five targets in quick succession. But she can't go further than that without risking the mechanisms."
Ruby burst up in her chair, "I knew it!"
King swapped weapons and placed a very well taken care of flintlock rifle on the table. It had a large green leaf on the flint and a tanuki-esc paint job. "And here we have the weapon of Thomas Cook. Despite how nice this man is, his weapon just went all out in the naming department. Capital Punishment. Overall, it's a simple design and seems to be more for decoration."
"He really called it 'Capital Punishment?'" Yang started to snicker, "Like, Capital as in money? That's amazing."
The next weapon required the camera to pull away from the table as King held up a large warhammer. It was given a bright pink and red paint job with a big heart on the face of the hammer. The thing looked more like a toy hammer with how exaggerated the hammer's head was. "And here we have the P-KO, a warhammer owned by one Amarilys Thorn. The P-KO is a solid chunk of steel that Thorn can use only because she possesses a strength Semblance. Seriously, this thing is stupid."
Nora, however, disagreed, "It looks so cool though! I like it."
King grabbed a massive claymore sword easily a half foot taller than him. "And here we have Highland Hellcutter. Owned by Robert Bruce, this baby is designed with a special Dust infusion for extra gravity damage. This weapon is a solid damage dealer and way too big for its own good. A standard claymore will be about four and half feet in length, but Robert went all out and made a six and a half foot blade. It's only two inches shorter than he is tall, which is ridiculous on the face of it, but he makes it work thanks to a hefty dose of strength training and that Dust in the blade."
"I don't know where to begin." Winter deadpanned.
"But it works." Whitely offered. "If it works, is it really that much of an issue?"
But Qrow had to add, with a smirk, "Listen Ice Queen, in the real world, we have a saying. If it's stupid but it works, then it isn't stupid."
Winter turned to him, about to make a crack, but froze up. "Pardon?"
"What? Didn't catch it the first time?"
"No… I…" Winter sat back down, her eyes seeming to lose focus, concerning many around her. She heard that saying before. From her mother. Winter had ignored it thinking it was her usual drunken ramblings, so she hadn't thought about the inherent logic held in the statement. But… now she had to ask, where did she hear that?
King swapped weapons to a simple saber. Pulling it from its scabbard revealed a golden inlay along the blade. This thing had to be purely ceremonial. "And this is Emperio, the saber owned by Paladin Napoleon Arc. This blade was commissioned by the Arc family in honor of Napoleon's election win to become a Paladin. It has since been viewed as a sort of second in command sword in Arcadia. If you don't know number one, you're not paying attention."
Jaune nervously scratched his cheek.
"Now," King put the weapon onto the wall rack behind him as they all disappeared, "we talk the big ones. The Legendary Weapons of Arcadia."
"Finally!" Ruby was getting more and more excited.
King snapped his fingers as everything went black. Then, a story book slowly fell into frame. As its pages opened, King spoke, "Our first story takes place in the early years of Arcadia. A man called Vincent Scarborough was known for his great armor. A defender of the weak and helpless." The book showed a silhouette of a man in armor, light radiating out from behind him. "However, despite it all, it was not the battlefield that would be his end, but disease." The next page showed him laid out on a bed, his armor set to the side. "And in his final moments, he gave an order for his Will. His armor would be melted down and refashioned." A glow overtook the armor and the page turned to show a set of four hand cannons. "He said, 'Let me protect my daughters. Even if death must take me, let me be at their sides to defend them.' And from this desire these weapons were forged. Collectively called Scarborough's Faire, each one was etched with the name of one of his daughters: Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. These weapons have since found their homes in Arcadia's Memorial Garden." The final page showed the four guns resting on a pedestal in a garden.
"That's…" Tai admitted to getting a little choked up at the story.
Gira nodded, understanding the man without another word to be added. Every father in that room got it. Though… that was a small number. Regardless, they got it.
The page turned to another weapon's story.
This story showed a man with a spear over his shoulder, however the blade was as long as the blade of a sword. "A man named Hektor once wielded a legendary spear, Durandana. He was said to be the strongest spear fighter in Arcadia during the First Reign and could bullseye a fox at a hundred yards with a javelin. Then, came the Battle of Troia Village." The page turned to show the man holding up the spear, reared back and ready to throw. "Surrounded and outnumbered by a Bandit hoard, it is said he threw Durandana with such force and precision, he impaled the Bandit leader from beyond the horizon." The page showed him throw the spear over the arching sky of the distant world. Then, the page turned to show the spear impale a man in Bandit-like armor and pin him to the world beneath his feet. "Though slightly exaggerated (he obviously didn't throw it past the horizon), he DID throw the spear and pin the Bandit leader to the ground through his shoulder. This disruption broke the chain of command and allowed the defenders of Toria to gain the day. His weapon now rests in the Memorial Garden, a piece of the Bandit general's torn cape tied to its blade."
"Damn." Neptune blinked, actually impressed by the sheer skill that would take.
Even Pyrrha couldn't help but be amazed. Sure, she could do that, but her weapon was designed for her to manipulate and properly aim. It was specifically designed for such actions. Durandana was not.
The next weapon page showed a woman holding up a set of chains with large spiked balls at the ends. "They say in the siege of Troia, after the Flight of Durandana, the Bandits tried to recuperate and regain their power. But a woman stood before the doors." The silhouette's eyes began to glow red, "With her weapon, Amazon, she struck against the attackers and tore them apart, officially breaking the siege." The page showed the woman slamming one of the chain weights into one enemy while the other was swinging into the foreground. "Her ferocity with these chains is as legendary as the weapons left behind. Her name was Pethasilia, and her weapons now rest in the Gardens along with its compatriots."
Pyrrha couldn't place it, but this woman both scared and excited her. She wondered what kind of challenge she could have given the Champion if they lived in the same era.
The next page showed a simple knife on the screen, it seemed to be white in color and the texture on the picture suggested it was bone-based. "In the height of the Second Reign, The Quiet Queen was fashioned from the bone of a whale. Initially meant as a ceremonial tool, it was put into more use than it ever wanted." The page turned to show a woman with a whale tail, an orca faunas. "A young woman named Lily took hold of the blade to defend her village from a Bandit raid." The next page showed her opposite a larger man with a proper sword on his shoulder. "This particular tribe believed in a trial by combat, so the girl challenged its leader for her village's freedom, or at least to hold them off until the Arcadian Military force could arrive to aid them. In the battle, she used this knife to fell the larger opponent. The Quiet Queen now rests among the Gardens."
Harriet smirked and nodded once, "She had guts, that's for sure. And to kick ass makes it even better."
The next story had a shorter girl with a wide sharp, toothy grin showing on her silhouette. She held a trident with a chain of shark teeth hanging from its base of the prongs. "There was once a girl in the Third Reign, a shark faunas with an attitude." The next page showed a massive Leviathan Grimm rising up from the water of the open ocean. "And then there was the monster, a Leviathan. Without proper defense, it would crash upon the shores and rend Arcadia from the map." The page turned to show the girl standing before the monster with the trident held up toward it. "And on that day, she raised her weapon, Apex Predator, to the beast. And they say its brethren responded in kind." The page morphed slightly to show the monster being attacked by sharks. "No one is truly certain if the weapon or her Semblance could do such a thing, but it did. The sea demanded death, and its sacrifice that day would be the Leviathan."
"Okay, that's insane." Sun pointed out. "Like… if she didn't do anything to make that happen, the odds are insane that it did."
The page turned again to show a courtroom scene. A man stood before a judge in chains. "In the Second Reign, Darian Arc was murdered by a man whose name was scrubbed from history."
"Well that took a turn." Roman remarked.
"To kill the brother of the High Prince was a charge punishable by death. Octavious came down from the throne to officiate and sentence the man. Execution by beheading." The page turned to show the murderer on his knees with the High Prince standing above him with an executioner's ax in his hands. "The law dictates the bereaved have the right to enact the execution. Octavious took to the task with his own hands, commissioning a new ax for the occasion. Along the blade an etching can be found, [Let all souls of the land know, my justice is absolute]. This blade is still used in executions in Arcadia to this day."
"I understand the need for executions," Ironwood spoke up, "but by ax? That seems… medieval."
Knox snickered, "You think that's bad? Get this, all executions in Arcadia are public."
"Excuse me?!" That got Clover to shout in surprise.
"Yeah…" Jaune nervously scratched his cheek, "It goes back to my great, great grandfather. He said it's necessary for complete transparency in all steps of law. Besides, you can't be executed unless you do something really bad. And even then it requires a special order."
"And there is one more legendary weapon of Arcadia." The page turned to show Julius Arc leading a charge during the Great War, his blade hoisted upward in his defiant attack. "The Blade of the Founder, Crocea Mors. This blade is as old as Arcadia's own legend and seen as the blade of the High Prince." The page turned to show Octavious holding the weapon resting on his hands, held slightly upward horizontally. "Passed down from ruler to ruler." The next page showed Charles holding the sword before him as he looked over the horizon of the Faunas Revolution, his army of humans and faunas standing ready. "Each adding to its legend." Then it showed Montesquieu standing with the blade at his side as he blocked a Grimm charge with his shield. "Each generation growing stronger with it." Finally, the page turned and showed Jaune with the sword in hand. Behind him was the whole of the Arcadian Military, each holding up their own weapons in salute. "It is said that this blade is tied to Arcadia, bound to its destiny. The Blade of its Princes and their eternal legacy."
The pages turned and the book closed, ending the section. "And there's where we'll end it for now."
As the entry ended, Ruby was starry-eyed and hopping in her chair, "That was so cool!"
Arslan just rolled her eyes.
Ruby's mood soured, catching that out of the corner of her eye.

King: Some of you may remember from the last intermission that I hinted at the possibility that Qrow may be Winter's biological father in my timeline due to a one-night stand with Willow before her marriage. However, I left it open to the possibility he isn't and that the timing just rounded out by coincidence. Your vote is as follows.
Is Qrow the father of Winter Schnee?
Usual voting rules apply. Good luck.
