Chapter Four

The Book

Tenth try

Planning

Dobby was looking at Harry Potter, Sir with no emotion showing on his face.

Harry blinked and looked at his favorite elf, "Do you believe me, Little D?"

With absolute conviction, Dobby replied, "Groundhog Day? Do-overs? Of course, Master Harry, you tell me it's true, Dobby believes in you. Tell me what we have to do now."

Harry sighed with relief. "Here, take this and be careful," as he handed his friend a small box with a pair of dragon hide gloves. It contained two poison fangs. "OK, lets get rid of the Diadem now."

Once the screaming of the exploding wraith stopped, Harry turned to Little D. "Your first task is to go and lift a wit sharpening potion from Snape's supplies, then get my godfather Sirius out of bed, cleaned up and dressed in the best of robes a lord would wear. Then bring him to the Shrieking Shack to meet me by 9am. Don't let him tarry. We don't have lots of time. On the way, put this box in the shack for the meeting. Be careful. I have to meet Hermione for breakfast. See you at nine o'clock."

… - ...

Harry walked into the Great Hall. He stopped at the main doors and looked around. Spying Hermione, he walked confidently up to her, and kissed her cheek, saying, "Good Morning." Then he walked around the table, plopped down opposite her, and started to make a breakfast plate for himself.

"You're chipper this morning," said Hermione with more than a slight blush.

Harry beamed. "I think this is going to be a great day, Hermione."

… - ...

Meanwhile, Dobby silently popped into Grimmauld place and found Kreacher. "Our master, heir to the Black lordship has a task for us."

Kreacher grinned evilly when Dobby finished explaining.

… - ...

Harry was waiting in the wrecked kitchen of the Shrieking Shack when Dobby popped in with a scowling Sirius Black.

"This better be good, Harry. Your elf and my elf are nasty. They used a firehose to wake me from a sound sleep, gave me a sobriety draught, petrified me and dragged me into the back garden. They put me in a big livestock tub, then proceeded to scrub me raw with lye soap, gave me a shave with a cutlass, a haircut with the largest sheep shearing shears I ever seen, then dressed me in my father's finest robes and dragged me here. So, what can I do for you, Pup?"

Sirius was gob smacked when Harry was done explaining the situation. "OK Harry, I've heard and seen some incredible things but I'm all in for you. What do you need me to do today?"

Harry handed him a box. "Inside this is a basilisk fang. Now don't be stupid and stab yourself. Pay attention, Sirius. I can't have your mind wander. Here's a paper with what you have to do. Read it to me and tell me you understand."

Sirius took the paper and began to read.

"Go to Gringotts, see the Black account manager Steelclaw, then claim the Black Lordship."

Harry replied, "Check."

"Dissolve the Malfoy marriage, then expel Narcissa from the family. Recall her dowry for not meeting the terms of her contract and working against the Black family."

"Check."

"Expel Bellatrix and recall her dowry."

"Check."

Black nodded, understanding the requests.

"Harry stated, "Here's where you really need to be at your best, Sirius. Make a deal with Steelclaw and get into Bellatrix's vault. I don't care what you have to give up, but get into her vault. Here's a drawing of Hufflepuff's cup. It's in there. Take the fang and scratch the inside of the cup, making sure to release some venom. Then immediately leave the vault and just tell him that it wasn't the cup that you were looking for. In a few minutes, the cup will be destroyed. I want you far away from there by then. Understand?"

"Expel Bella, get into her vault, scratch the cup, get out fast."

"Check. Stay focused."

"Return to Grimmauld and send me a note as soon as you're done."

"Check. One final thing, godfather; try and be nice to Kreacher. It's necessary. What you're doing for me today will help both of us be free. You'll get cleared, I'll eliminate Voldemort and his deluded followers, then cast off the shackles from Dumbledore. So just focus."

He handed Sirius a vial. "Take this now. It's a wit sharpening draught. It will help you today."

Sirius downed it, hugged Harry and left for his mission.

"Do you think he'll pull it off, Little D?"

"He must, Harry, he must. Have faith."

… - …

The cool air was helping clear his head as Harry was taking a break by walking along the shore of the Black Lake after lunch. An owl found him with a letter from Sirius. Harry unfolded the parchment and read, "The sun is shining a half hour earlier than expected." Understanding the cryptic message, Harry smiled. Sirius pulled it off.

He called, "Little D."

"Hello Harry."

"Walk with me to the big rock please. Cast some privacy charms so no one can see us or hear us." After thinking a moment, Harry explained, "We need to figure out what to do with the ring. We've decided that Sirius isn't the man for the job; he's got his hands full at Gringotts, then he'll have to take care of the locket. With his lack of focus, I don't trust him not to kill himself. He just won't have the time to get the ring, no matter how quick he is at Gringotts. So, what do you think we should do with the ring?"

Dobby replied, "Perhaps we could entice the Headmaster Whiskers to go after the ring? You said you have the feeling it's something he wants desperately."

Harry questioned, "Can he get through the traps?"

"Tell him exactly where to find the place and what we know. Then he won't take as much time. How to get him to do it?"

"Well, that's the thing, Little D, I don't know. Do we even want him to have the ring? Then he'd come after me to get my cloak again."

Dobby shook his head and replied, "It's like going for fishies, Harry. You have the bait. You just have to entice him. Drag it in front of his nose, all shiny like it's real, and he's gonna bite. It will seem like his idea to him. Dobby believes that he'd be in such a hurry to use that ring that he'd ignore Snakeface's final trap."

"I think I know what I can do. That said, I feel like I'm setting him up."

"So what, Harry? It's what he has done to you all your life and to Sirius and your parents. No remorse, Harry, this is survival and freedom at stake. What is your thought?"

"I think I'll tell him I had another vision from Voldemort. I'll say I dreamed it just before I woke up. I'll describe it and ask him what it means. I'm sure he will take the hook and run with it. I must do this tomorrow, perhaps right after breakfast."

"Master Harry is sneaky, sneaky. Dobby be proud of Master Harry."

Harry added, "There's one other problem with using him; he such a controlling person. What if he insists on studying it, rather than destroying it? It's not like we could take it from him by force."

Dobby replied, "As long as he destroys the horcrux when he first picks it up, do we really care what he does with the stone? If he scourgifies the poison and keeps it to talk with his Uncle Sylvester, it doesn't hurt us. He'll spend two hours looking for the shack and two hours getting through the traps. One way or another, he should be done by 2pm. Dobby thinks he'll leave the castle 15 minutes after you tell him. Dobby can be sneaky hidden and watch what he does. We just want him to spend the four hours clearing the traps to get it. If Harry Potter doesn't like what he does with it, don't tell him the next do-over."

Harry nodded in agreement.

Maze

Immediately upon dropping the cup, Harry whispered, "Dobby."

As previously planned, Little D, who'd made himself invisible, arrived at the cemetery. He was in time to witness Pettigrew stunning his best friend in the world. It was all that he could do to restrain himself from using a cooking charm and shredding the odious man right then and there, but he had a job to do.

Doing his best to ignore the ritual that was playing out around him, Dobby reached out with his magic, searching for any wards that may have been set up. As expected, he couldn't sense any anti-apparation, or anti-portkey wards in the immediate area.

Next, he used his senses to search for Riddle's snake. It didn't take him long to find the cobra. It was coiled on a large rock that had been warmed by the sun.

Finally, he started his hardest task. Following his own instructions that Harry had recited to him, he walked 645 steps until he found the dead oak tree. Harry had told him that when he last attempted to find the shack, this had far and away been the hardest step. Now that he'd verified that Harry had memorized and given him the correct instructions, he went onto his next task.

He popped back to the cemetery. Both Malfoy's were on the ground, bleeding out from Riddle's sweeping Diffindo hex. Dobby found the key to Lucius' vault and popped away to Gringotts.

When he finally reached the front of the line, the teller examined the key and declared, "Your Master Malfoy just died. His vault will be closed until his estate has been dispositioned."

Dobby nodded, replied, "Thank you," and left the bank as fast as he could." He popped back to Hogwarts. He'd have to tell Harry to tell him to look for the keys as soon as the Death Eaters arrived. Doing so would slightly raise the liklihood of getting caught, but would significantly improve the chance of success at the bank.

It was a half hour later, when Harry finally was able to get back to the Room of Requirement and called for Dobby. When they entered the room and closed the door, Harry hugged his little friend and said, "I'm glad that you returned safely."

"Dobby is glad that Harry Potter sir returned safely as well. What did Lily say?"

"Mum mentioned Nathan and Nancy Nott, Fran and Vicky Flint, someone named Wilson, a Carrow brother and sister, Avery, Macnair, and someone named Tiberius Ogden."

"Dobby knows of all of those people. Avery and Macnair are very dangerous wizards. Ogden is a very wealthy man. He owns the Ogden Whiskey making business. Did Harry's Lily say anything else?"

Harry nodded and admitted, "She told me to pay more attention to Hermione."

Dobby nodded, and began drawing on a piece of paper, then wrote a few short directions. He handed it to Harry, and said, "If Harry Potter describes these directions, Dobby could find the cemetery again. Also, tell Dobby to be looking down the road for the Gaunt dwelling."

Harry took the paper and studied it a minute until he was certain that he could reproduce it for Dobby in the morning. He said, "Thanks. Did you find anything else?"

"Dobby saw big cobra snake on one of the big rocks. Dobby thinks that bad snake spends much time on the rock when sun is shining. Also, Dobby tried taking Bad Old Master's vault key. The Goblins will not let Dobby into a vault after the vault owner has died. Dobby is wondering how long snakey Riddle wizard is talking to Death Eater wizards and witches before sneaking attack on Harry Potter?"

Harry thought about the different times that he'd been in the cemetery. He replied, "More than ten but less than fifteen minutes. Since I've been more polite to him, he's tended to talk longer than he originally did."

"Dobby is thinking of a sneaky sneaky plan. When Harry Potter wakes up, he should be telling Sirius Black to revoke dowry from Narcissa and Bellatrix and dissolve Malfoy marriage in addition to doing the same from Bellatrix. Harry Potter sir should also tell Dobby to be invisible, then call Dobby as soon as he drops wizard cup. Dobby should be sneaky sneaky with wealthy wizards."

Before they parted for the evening, Dobby suggested, "Harry Potter should ask Sirius Black to teach him how to apparate now that he tested his tasks for a second time."

"Good idea. Good night, Dobby."

… - ...

Eleventh try

Late night

After returning with the Tri-wizard cup, Harry found himself dragged into the Gryffindor Common Room by Fred and George. Before dinner, he'd talked with them about apparating, as he hadn't had any success from his first lesson with Sirius that afternoon. He was a bit disappointed when George's advice barely resembled what he'd heard earlier in the day from Sirius. To make matters worse, Fred added, "That's not how I do it." Apparently, there were dozens of slight variations to the basic method of Twycross' three Ds – Destination, Deliberation and Determination approach.

...

Now the twins were frogmarching him through the portrait to the cheers of his classmates. Angelina put a butterbeer into his hand. Lee had painted a banner that read, Harry Potter- The Twi-Wizard Champion.

Ten minutes later, he excused himself to use the restroom. Instead, he dashed off the the Room of Requirement and called for Little D.

Harry asked, "What did you find at the Hall of Prophecies?"

"Dobby found two prophecies. One was made by Sybill Trelawney to Headmaster longbeard in 1979. It has your name on it. The other was made by Miss Luna this year. It has both of our names on it."

Harry asked, "How do we learn what they say?"

"Eithey by tapping it with a wizaed wand, or dropping it on the floor. Dobbyy could hear one and get away before anyone comes and catches him. Then Dobby could come back and tell Harry Potter sir." Harry nodded and Dobby asked, "How was Harry Potter's day?"

"George told me that people usually go through a week of lessons before anyone starts to successfully apparate for the first time. My mum gave me the names of some more Death Eaters. She named Crabbe, Goyle, Borgin, MacFarlen, Winehouse, Sobel, Yaxley, Gibbon, Jugson, and Mulciber."

Dobby replied, "They are all bad men. Harry Potter should tell Dobby to go hear one of the prophecies tomorrow. One is in row 97, the other is in row 102."

"That sounds like a good idea. I'll call you tomorrow morning. Thank you for your help today."

"Helping Dobby's friend, Harry Potter, is Dobby's greatest pleasure."

… - …

Twelfth try

Planning

Sirius patiently demonstrated his half-twist apparition technique. Once again, Harry tried the same technique with no results. Sirius called, "Let's take a break." When they'd each opened a bottle of cold butterbeer, he commented, "I still can't get my arms around the fact that you've seen Wormie almost a dozen nights in a row."

Harry admitted, "That's eleven nights in a row that I wish that I'd have choked him a year ago."

Sirius observed, "You've a far trickier situation with him now than we had a year ago. Any memory charms that you manage to put on him could be broken, and by your own words, you don't want your name associated with Riddle's re-embodiment or demise; let alone the demise of his henchmen."

Harry replied, "That means that Riddle needs to finish him off somehow without mutilating him. It's not just Pettigrew; all of the Death Eaters need to be gone. I'm sure there's an answer; I just don't know what it is yet."

They sat in comfortable silence for a minute. Sirius replied, "Riddle may be the biggest problem, but nothing will truly improve until the whole lot of them are gone."

Harry nodded in agreement, but something told him that simply getting rid of Tom Riddle and his Death Eaters wouldn't be enough. He commented, "What really needs to happen is for Riddle and all of his henchmen to just tip over and for Wormtail's body to appear next to one of the other Champions when the maze comes down. There'd be a thousand witnesses, so no one could just sweep him under the rug."

Sirius nodded; hopeful that Harry could make it happen somehow. He replied, "Let's get back to work."

As Sirius continued teaching Harry his half-twist technique, Dobby disappeared, humming the song 'Se-cret Agent Man'.

A few seconds later, he appeared in the elf's reception room in the Ministry of Magic. As usual, there were no humans here. It was a very small room located in the wall next to the main floos, directly opposite the welcome desk and guard. He silently cracked the door open and peeked out. 'Sneaky, sneaky,' thought Dobby. The only guard on duty was leaning back in his chair with his feet up on the counter and reading the Daily Prophet to while away his shift.

Dobby made himself invisible and quietly made his way to the stairwell to the lower levels. He popped to the bottom of the stairs at the ninth level and pushed his magic out seeking anything that might be behind the door. With a negative response, he pushed through the door and into a corridor that led into the Department proper. It was all polished black tile - floors, walls and ceilings. A few floating torches cast a blue-white somber glow. Dobby shivered. He didn't like being here; he always had the feeling that he was being watched.

He moved down the corridor to the single door, singing Secret Agent Man silently in his mind. 'There's a man who leads a life of danger. With every move he makes, Another chance he takes'. His friend, Ed had shown him the television show years before he'd been sold to Lucius Malfoy. Years back, when the blond haired man was beating him regularly, it had always reminded him of happier times. Dobby hoped that the entire Malfoy family would be laid low before the month was out. They had been so mean to him.

Dobby opened the door and stepped into a large, circular room. Again, everything was all black. Dobby smiled. He remembered this room well. He had been here before for his old bad master. There were twelve black doors with a candle between each one. Any time you opened a door the whole room rotated, creating disorientation and confusion, often trapping those who were unescorted. The marble floor highly polished to look like the surface of the water. Dobby went up to the first door and stared intently at the lower most hinge and felt with his finger. Smiling he felt the tiny raised dots on the hinge. This was door nine. He had put these here years ago. He shivered. He didn't like this place.

Humming silently to himself, he went to his right feeling the hinges for the raised dots. He found door number three and opened it. A long tunnel with a few torches lit the way. Dobby opened the door and stepped into a curious room full of clocks, hour glasses, tables and cabinets. Paying no attention, he crossed the room to the only door and pushed it open, stepping into a huge cavernous place. There was a small alcove with a pedestal with a single candle throwing light on a large tome. He stepped up and ran his finger down the spine and asked for the prophecies about Harry Potter.

The book opened, then the pages rapidly flipped and stopped three quarters of the way though. Dobby looked and saw Row 97. He closed the book without looking to see if there were prophecies listed on other pages. Stepping away he turned and started down the corridor. The central aisle seemed to run off into infinity. He was at row 54, so it wasn't far. The racks on each side stretched off into darkness and rose in height far over his head. Each rack held hundreds of crystal orbs, some were dark, while others glowed with a low light.

When he reached row 97, he took a chance and went left and looked at the labels. In a few minutes he found what he was here to find. "S.P.T to A.P.W.B.D. Dark Lord and (?) Harry Potter."

Dobby smiled. He took out a parchment and a recording quill from a hidden pocket then conjured a stick and tapped the orb three times. A small tray slid out from the shelf holding the orb. It shimmered brightly for a moment and the spectral form of Sybil Trelawny appeared above the orb. She intoned;

The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches... born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies... and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not... and either must die at the hand of the other, for neither can live while the other survives... the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies.

"What garbage," muttered Dobby. He listened to it several times, checking his parchment to be sure it recorded the words correctly. Dobby hid the parchment away in his clothing and shivered. His hair was standing up on the back of his neck. He looked around, pushing his magic out. It came back negative but he couldn't shake the thought that he was being watched. He left quickly and returned to Hogwarts.

Cemetery

That evening, when the wands connected, Harry intentionally let the two spells fight each other for an extra few seconds before giving it a final push into Riddle's wand. If the older wizard had somehow been weakened by Harry destroying the diadem horcrux early that morning, the difference wasn't obvious.

When his mum appeared, Harry pointed to the last few Death Eaters that she hadn't previously identified and asked, "Who are those people?"

She looked at them for a second and replied, "Mr and Mrs Selwin, Tom Rowle, Justin Travers, and Pius Thicknesse. Severus and Karkarov aren't here. There are also 15 Death Eaters in Azkaban, totaling 50. There are also another 100 or so believers who never received the Mark. Go now."

Seconds later, Harry reappeared on the winner stand.

… - ...

After action meeting

Dobby handed the written text of the prophecy to Harry. "You read this and remember it. Tell me tomorrow."

When Harry had looked at the parchment, Dobby remarked, "Eyeglass lady spends too much time drinking sherry." A moment later, he added, Harry Potter must be wary of Pius Thicknese. He's very bad man. He and old bad master funded the elimination of many muggleborns and their families before they reached Hogwarts age. They bribed those who worked in the underaged magic detection room to give them names and places. Then they paid others to eliminate them.

"Also, Harry Potter needs to be careful and not make same mistake Bad Riddle man makes. He makes biggie mistake playing with his food like a cat with a mouse, giving Harry Potter a chance. This leads to the wands connecting and you escaping. Harry Potter should never make the same mistake."

Harry nodded in acceptance of his friend's advice.

… - …

Thirteenth try

Cemetery

As he dropped the cup, Harry quietly called for Dobby when entering the graveyard but didn't have a chance to talk to him before being stunned. When he woke up tied to the monument, he hoped that Dobby had not been seen.

"Release the boy Wormtail, and hand him his wand."

Wormtail cut the bonds that held Harry to the monument.

Panting and on hands and knees grasping his wand he managed to nod his head in a slight bow and croak out:

"Thank you, Lord Voldemort."

Voldemort was pleased and had chuckled. "You see my fellows; he knows his betters."

Voldemort proceeded to wax poetic as he espoused his greatness, giving Harry a chance to catch his breath and slowly move so he was between Voldemort and Lucius Malfoy with Walden MacNair standing side by side behind him. The Death Eaters were in a loose circle, milling around their master, with some close together and some overlapping. Harry also noticed that behind and to the right of where Voldemort stood, Nott and Avery were standing very close together. Right in front of them stood John Dawlish, vapidly looking up at the moon.

"Now we duel Harry; the niceties must be observed. First we bow."

Harry didn't wait for him to finish telling him to bow, but cast five powerful reducto's rapidly at Riddle. The first, directly at his left hand, the other four intentionally just to his side as he was nervous and really couldn't aim straight.

Voldemort screamed with rage, batting away the first reductor, which hit Peter in the back, shattering his spine and killing him instantly, then cast two killing curses at Harry who was moving quickly to his left after he had cast. Harry saw Malfoy and MacNair go down and strangely a leather-bound book fall out of Malfoy's pockets that momentarily caught his attention. He was gratified to see three of the remaining four reducto's hit Dawlish; one blowing his head clean off, while the final hit Nott in the upper thigh, sending him to the ground screaming.

While Harry was scrambling keeping out of the way of Voldemort's curses, Dobby saw the book fall out of Malfoy's robes. Little D immediately summoned it, then moved away from the action and hid behind a large stone.

When the wands connected, Harry quickly asked his mother two questions. "Is there a trick to apparating?

She smiled and replied, "Oh my Harry, just think where you want to go and go. Force of will; forget everything else they try and teach. It's willpower pure and simple son; think, then push your magic, and you'll be there. Grab Malfoy's book on the way out; it's important. Now go while you can."

Harry broke the connection and sent a blasting curse at the dirt in front of Voldemort, swinging his arm in a half circle he banished the dirt and rocks tossed up in the air towards everyone opposite him and ran towards Malfoy and the cup.

"Accio book! Accio cup."

Harry heard the scream of frustration from Voldemort as the hook on his navel dragged him back to Hogwarts.

… - ...

When Harry arrived on the reviewing stand, he was surprised that the book had not flown to him when summoned. It was a mystery he didn't have time to ponder now. He had arrived silently and behind a group of people who were arguing. Harry rolled off the back of the platform and quickly threw his cloak over himself and silently crawled away from the stand until he could safely stand up and head to the castle.

He made his way to the seventh floor and the Room of Requirement and called softly for Dobby.

"Little D, thanks for coming so quickly. Please go to the hospital ward and get me a dreamless sleep and two pain potions. Thanks."

"Dobby goes Harry," and popped away.

When Dobby returned with the potions, he downed the first of the pain potions.

"Ah, that feels better," as relief flooded him. "Dobby, something strange happened in the grave yard. I saw a book fall out of Malfoy's robes."

"Yes Master Harry. Dobby knows and saw. Dobby gets for you." He reached inside his camouflage T-shirt to an unseen pocket and pulled out the leather book. "Here Harry. This be old bad master's bribe and blackmail book."

Harry took the book and started flipping pages. "Now I know why mom said this was important and to take it. This could bring down Fudge's government. As I look at the names, there are a lot of prominent people that Malfoy has paid off."

"You must remember this; we need the book to get the bad guys in the Wizadoodle."

Harry laughed. "I won't forget, Little D. Here put this in my trunk. I need to talk to Albus."

… - ...

Harry stopped at the Gargoyle guarding the Headmasters office. "No crap now. Open up, the old man wants to talk to me."

There was a moment of silence, but then the stone guardian swung aside allowing entrance to the stair case. Harry stepped onto the first step and it began to rise, bringing him up to Dumbledore's office outer door. Harry didn't see the Gargoyle wink at him as he went past.

"Come in, Harry. I was wondering where you had got off to."

"Something was wrong with the portkey. It took me outside of Hogsmeade and I had to walk all the way back sir."

"Would yiu care for a Lemon drop Harry?" asked Dumbledore as he popped two of the sour treats in his mouth.

"No thank you, Albus, but I do have a hypothetical question for you."

Dumbledore nodded his head as the sour candies had made nearly impossible for him to speak at the moment.

"I've heard enough talk about the Wizengamot being corrupt with bribes, payoffs and extortion being the rule of the day to get anything done. I've surmised that's why you haven't been able to get Sirius a trial. What would happen if evidence detailing all the galleons changing hands became public, Albus?"

"You should address me as Headmaster Harry, not by my given name."

"Well, you're overly familiar with me, so I am just following your lead, sir."

"Be that as it may Harry, you must address me properly. As to your questions, such information must be treated very carefully; it could bring down the government. It could bring catastrophic change to the magical world, upsetting the apple cart so to speak. There's no telling what could happen. Too much change, too rapidly could have unforeseen consequences of a dire nature, my boy."

Harry sighed. "So, you're saying that if such information were available, then it should not be disclosed, so the pure bloods can remain protected and in power abusing everyone else?"

"No Harry, the truth can be both terrible and beautiful at the same time. One always proceeds with caution, rapid change can lead to to a problem."

Harry stood up and moved towards the door. Pausing, he turned back to the headmaster. "Sir, so you want the status quo because you fear change might not be not a good thing, because you're comfortable with the way that things currently are. Thank you for enlightening me."

Harry hurried out the door and down the steps before Dumbledore could react.

"Whisky, Tango, Foxtrot! That old man is a real piece of work. Just as I thought, the old coot would sit on it and do nothing," muttered Harry as he hurried back to the Room of Requirement.

Everyone has their heros. Apprentice Tom likes Johnny Rivers.

Harry's to-do list seems to be growing with every do-over. His task list has expanded far beyond the cemetery.

I've always wondered why Professor McGonagall never offered a hint of assistance to Harry in the TWT. After the first two tasks, it should have been obvious that the other three Champians were getting assistance. Any ideas?
