Me: Before I start the chapter I just want to thank pokemonking0924 for all the reviews they've left and answer a few questions they have:
I'm not entirely certain what I'm gonna do with Gengar once I get to Journeys, especially because the current idea I have for that series is a lot different than the actual show. One thing I do want to bring up though is that Trade evolutions are not a thing in this story. Haunter and other Pokemon like that will just evolve normally.
As for Alex skipping Sabrina's gym, I do have a plan to have him catch up to Ash
Me: Now then I know I said the next update was gonna take awhile but this one ended up going much quicker than I thought. The next one however will likely be a longer gap because that one is more battle focused and those chapters tend to be the more difficult ones to write. Now let's start with the chapter
Brock: Pokemon Fashion Flash!
The Pokegang are walking down a particularly busy street of Celadon City. Brock is leading him. He is looking around for a specific store
"Brock why did you bring us to a place called 'Scissors Street?' "Alex questions his friend
Brock ignores him as he is too focused
"Do you think this is where all the hair dressers live?" Ash asks
"Honestly I wouldn't be too surprised." Alex responds
Misty is paging through the guidebook of Celadon City. She lets out a triumphant yell
"I found it!"
"Found what?" Ash asks confused
"Why Brock brought us here. Listen to what the guidebook says, 'Scissors Street, also known as Breeder's Lane, is a section of Celadon where different types of Pokemon Stylists and Breeders set up shops in order to care for Pokemon.' "Misty finished reading
"Oh so that's why we're here." Alex says
"Yeah Brock's trying to find out all the new Breeder techniques." Ash replies
Pika
Brock is still leading them around
"She has to be here somewhere." He mumbles to himself
"He must be looking for a specific store." Misty comments
"You know Brock it would be easier for us to help if you just told us what you were looking for." Alex tells him, but Brock continues ignoring him. Alex growls and pulls out his baseball bat, "I'll teach him to ignore me."
Ash and Misty restrain him
"I think we need to take that bat away from you." Misty says frustrated. Her eyes fall upon a billboard advertising a new Pokemon fashion shop
"Oh look there!" She runs off leaving Ash to hold Alex back by himself
"Misty!"
"Relax I'm calm now." Alex tells Ash who lets him go. They head over to see what got Misty's attention. The billboard is advertising a new salon called Salon Roquet and has a picture of a Koffing and Ekans dressed in "fashionable styles"
"What the heck are they wearing?" Ash asks disgusted
"Did you seriously just say heck?" Alex asks
"It's so cute!" Misty shouts excited causing Ash to stare at her judgingly
"I guess everything appeals to someone." Alex comments
Misty suddenly grabs Ash's hand and drags him towards the store, "Let's check it out!"
"No I don't want to! Pikachu help!" Ash struggles to break free
Pikachu?
"Nah let it happen." Alex responds
There is a huge line outside of the Salon. A prerecorded message is going off advertising the store
"You couldn't believe just how cute your Pokemon can be." A male voice is heard, "Let us dazzle you with our newest fashion trends."
"Come down to Salon Roquet where we'll make your Pokemon look just as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside." A female voice is heard
"Aw the line's so long." Misty moans
"Thank Mew." Ash mumbles
Alex, Pikachu and Brock head over to them
"So are we waiting in line or what?" Alex asks
"Absolutely!" Misty yells causing Ash to groan
Inside the store a man and woman who are most definitely not James and Jessie in disguise are styling up a Raichu and Dodrio. They have powdered all three of Dodrio's heads, trimmed it's hair into different styles, painted it tail feathers pink and put stars on it's butt, put lipstick and blush on a Raichu as well as painted stars and stripes on it's chest
"Now for ze final touch." Jessina pulls out a silver necklace and places it around Raichu's neck, "Tada!"
"We make your Pokemon a Prettymon!" Jessina and Jamison announce
The two trainers stare at their Pokemon amazed
"It's so cute!" The Lass squeals
"I never thought I'd say this but this was well worth the money." The Super Nerd says impressed
The two trainers lead their Pokemon out
"Come again!" Jessina and Jamison yells
A short man who is most definitely not Meowth in disguise, counts the money. He looks over at the others annoyed
"You two are spending way too much money on advertisements. We're in this to make a profit remember." Meowthsan lectures
"We know what we're doing. The more we hype up this place the more people come and spend." Jessina tells him
Ash is staring at the Dodrio and Raichu who just came out of the store horrified
"It's there!" Brock points excitedly at a store across the street and down the road a little from Salon Roquet. He rushes over happily while the others follow confused
"I found it! I've been looking all over for this place!" He approaches the door which has a painting of a Vulpix on it. He reaches for the handle slowly and hesitatingly
"You can do it Brock." He tries to hype himself up. Alex suddenly strolls right past him and into the store
"Ah!" Brock yells
Ash, Misty and Pikachu head in after Alex
"Hi I'll be with you in a moment." A woman greets them. She is currently in the middle of massaging a Chansey. Once she finishes the Chansey hops to her feet with renewed energy
Chansey! Chansey!
The Chansey's trainer enters the store, "I'm back Chansey! Oh you look marvelous!" The trainer coos over his Chansey
"Thank you for bringing Chansey to my salon." The woman tells him
"See you again soon Suzie." The trainer replies and him and Chansey leave
"Suzie? Why does that name sound familiar?" Alex mumbles to himself
Suzie turns towards them, "Hi how can I help you?" She asks
"Oh uh we're kinda just browsing around." Ash replies unsure. Brock suddenly shoves him out of the way
"No um..." He has a big blush on his face, "We-"
Misty suddenly shoves him out of the way, "Look at that Vulpix!"
She points at a Vulpix who is sleeping in a giant chair nearby, "Isn't it the cutest thing?"
Her and Ash head over to the Vulpix. Ash takes out his Pokedex and scans it
Vulpix the Fox Pokemon. A Fire type. Both its fur and its tails are beautiful. As it grows, the tails split and form more tails. Vulpix evolves into Ninetales through use of a Fire Stone. This Vulpix is Female
"I love it's hair. Oh I want to hug it!" Misty picks up Vulpix
"No don't-" Suzie tries to warn her
"You're just about-" Vulpix suddenly Flamethrowers Misty before hopping back to it's seat and going back to sleep. Misty just kinda stands there stunned, "Very cute"
She falls over. Suzie walks over and helps her up
"Sorry about that. Vulpix doesn't like anyone but me touching her." Suzie explains
"Now she tells me." Misty mumbles
Alex looks over the Vulpix who is sleeping as if she was royalty
"I know a Vaporeon who you would get along great with." Alex chuckles
Brock inches over to them. He gulps before finally gathering the courage to speak
"Uh Suzie." Is all he gets out
Suzie turns towards him, "Yes?"
Brock stands at attention as if he was addressing a military officer, "Uh my name is Brock. It's nice to meet you Suzie. I want to breed like you I mean I want to be a breeder like you."
"It's very nice to meet you Brock. I'm flattered you want to make me your model." Suzie tells him
"Yes I want to model you I mean I'm flattered that you're flattered I mean..." He gulps again, "Your Vulpix is nice."
Ash, Misty, Alex and Pikachu are all having different reactions. Ash is confused, Misty is horrified, Alex and Pikachu are having the time of their lives
"Suzie what I'm really saying is...I WOULD REALLY LIKE YOU TO ACCEPT ME AS YOUR PUPIL!" Brock yells
"What!" Ash and Misty yell shocked
"You've got to be kidding Brock." Ash says confused
"Mind your own business Ash. Please say yes Suzie." Brock bows
"I don't have pupils Brock. Breeding takes up all my time." Suzie explains
"What makes her such a great Breeder anyway?" Ash asks
"HOW DARE YOU!" Brock screams at him. He then grabs a bottle and pretends it's a microphone
"The sensational Suzie of Scissors Street has been awarded the trophy for excellence at the World Pokemon Breeder's Contest for three consecutive years, but wait there's more! In addition to that the readers of Pokemon Friends Magazine named her the world's most popular breeder four years running! And her usually popular website records over 1 000 hits a day!"
Ash, Misty, Alex and Pikachu stare at her stunned
"Now that's what I call a great Breeder." Misty says
"You better believe it!" Brock yells
"Ok Brock we heard you the first time." Ash says annoyed
"Wait there's Pokemon Breeding contests?" Alex asks confused, "Are they R-rated?"
Brock punches Alex over the head, "HOW DARE YOU!"
Poor Alex is knocked out
"Forgive him Suzie! He's merely a child!"
"Uh..."
Ash is checking on Alex concerned. Misty looks over at Vulpix, "I wonder if this Vulpix has ever won any competitions?"
"That's a fabulous question Misty!" Brock yells into his fake microphone, "Vulpix is the hottest supermodel of the Pokemon world! Notice the gorgeous flowing tails which have made Vulpix a champ! Plus there-"
Ash grabs Brock by his ear and drags him away, "We get the idea now cut it out!"
Suzie has poured tea for everyone and they are sitting around a table talking. Pikachu is eating some Pokemon food Brock prepared out of a bowl. Ash and Misty are busy asking Suzie questions about her career while Brock just stares at her in awe. Alex leans in close to him
"So when are we gonna tell her about Dugtrio?" Alex smirks
"You tell her about that and the next time we run into Leaf I'll tell her what you said to me last night." Brock replies causing Alex's eyes to widen
"You promised that was confidential." Alex mutters annoyed
Suzie looks over at Pikachu who is happily munching down on it's food, "Your Pikachu has a beautiful shiny coat. I can tell it's really well taken care of."
"Thanks but most of the credit has to go to Brock. He's given me a lot of advice on how to care for all my Pokemon." Ash replies
"And Brock I assume you're the one who prepares Pikachu's food?" Suzie asks. Brock jumps to his feet once again as if being addressed by a military officer
"Yes!"
"It's Brock's own special recipe as well." Misty adds in, "He's very knowledgeable about what types of food Pokemon like to eat."
"My career as a Pokemon Breeder also begun when I became interested in Pokemon nutrition." Suzie explains
Vulpix wanders off to check what Pikachu is eating
Vulpix?
Pika!
Pikachu offers to let Vulpix have some and Vulpix picks up a pellet. She puts it in her mouth and chews on it
Vulpix!
Vulpix swallows it happily and starts eating some more
"Wow that's amazing!" Suzie says surprised, "Vulpix never eats anything unless I personally prepared it myself."
Brock's face goes red, "Thank you Vulpix..."
He instinctively tries to bow and ends up bashing his head against the table. He collapses to the floor in pain, "I'm not worthy..."
Suzie chuckles
"Uh Suzie we saw some super fancy looking Pokemon while we were walking down the street. Is that really the latest trend?" Misty asks
Alex rolls his eyes, "If that's considered fancy then I'm Professor Oak."
"By any chance are you referring to Salon Roquet?" Suzie asks
"Yeah that super tacky place." Ash answers
"Ever since that Salon opened everyone has been trying to make their Pokemon look as flashy as possible. A good Breeder is always trying to bring out their Pokemon's inner strength and personality but that Salon's all about what's outside." Suzie says
"I don't like it either. I think it's pretty stupid to waste your time showing off." Ash says
"But sometimes even Pokemon like to get dressed up just like the rest of us." Misty says, "Right Pikachu?"
Pikachu just stares at her confused
Pikachupi Pikachu?(Misty what are you talking about?)
"Pikachu's perfect the way he is. We don't need any goofy fashions it's what's on the inside that counts." Ash says in an attempt to sound wise
"I never said the inside's not important but sometimes the outside's important too!" Misty replies angrily
"Inside only!" Ash yells at her
"Outside too!"
"Inside only!"
"Outside too!"
Alex and Brock just watch annoyed while Suzie is confused
"Are they always like this?" She asks
"Yeah you just have to let them ride it out." Brock answers
"If you think fashion's so great how about taking your Psyduck to that Salon?" Ash suggests sarcastically
"That's a great idea!" Misty replies excitedly, "Come on out Psyduck!"
Psyduck pops out of his pokeball. He looks around confused
Psyduck?
Ash laughs, "Now we'll see who gets the last quack."
"Psyduck and I will look great in anything." Misty responds
"Psyduck will." Ash snarks
"WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT FASHION!" Misty screams at him, "Let's go Psyduck."
She wanders out of the store with Psyduck following along still as confused as ever
"I wonder what really counts in the end." Suzie says to herself, "Ever since that new salon opened I've been wondering about my methods."
"Don't say things like that!" Brock yells, "Suzie you have to keep following the path you believe in!"
"We have to stick up for what's inside together." Ash exclaims
"That's very kind, but how can we?" Suzie asks
"If they want to put style over substance. We'll give them substance with style." Brock replies
Brock and Ash are busy advertising for a Massage course at Suzie's Salon. Alex just watches everything annoyed
"Why are you guys making such a big deal about this?" Alex asks
"What do you mean Alex?" Ash asks confused
"It's a stupid Salon. So what if some people want to dress up their Pokemon? It's not like it's some taboo thing or anything."
"We're trying to prove that what's on the inside matters more." Brock replies
"You're just trying to suck up to Suzie." Alex responds causing Brock to shut his mouth
"It's true though! It is what's on the inside that matters most!" Ash exclaims
"Ok and? Misty had a point. Some Pokemon like dressing up and showing off. It's not some new thing." Alex points out, "You're making a big deal out of something that isn't there."
"If you're not gonna help then just leave." Ash responds
"Fine. I'll go hang out with Misty." Alex responds and walks off
Misty and Psyduck are waiting in the really long line for Salon Roquet. The Chansey Trainer from before heads over to them
"Did you people hear that Suzie is holding a course for Pokemon Massage?" The trainer asks
"Oh that sounds interesting." One of the trainers says
"Yeah let's go check it out." Another replies
"We can come back here later." And the line starts trimming
"At least the line's getting shorter." Misty tells Psyduck
Psy aye aye
"Oh good you're at the front of the line." Alex says as he walks over
"Alex! What are you doing here?" Misty asks confused
"I had a fight with Ash so you're my best friend now." Alex responds and gets in the line
"Um alright?" Misty replies confused
Suzie's store is full of trainers, breeders and what not who are interested in what she has to say. She is currently giving Pikachu a massage
"Pikachu's especially like to have their cheek pouches rubbed as it sends a tingling feeling through their bodies." Suzie rubs Pikachu's cheeks
Pika!
"This also has the added benefit of charging up their electricity which will give them an extra kick in battle." Suzie explains
"Wow I didn't know any of that." Ash says amazed
"One more rose and tada!" Jessina yells
She has painted a bunch of roses onto a Squirtle's shell while Jamison applied lipstick, eyeliner and a wig to it
"This Squirtle has become another masterpiece." Jessina says happily
"Ah what another success of Salon Roquet!" Jamison shouts excitedly
The trainer takes his Squirtle and leaves. Meowthsan is busy counting their profits
"Meowth send in the next customer." Jessie tells him
"Can't you see I'm counting money here!" Meowth looks at the door and notices there are only two customers, "Where did all the customers go!"
"Oh who cares. Whether it's a million customers or only one we just want to spread pure beauty." Jessie replies happily
"Yes we only care about showing off the beauty of Pokemon." James replies happily
"We're never gonna make money that way!" Meowth yells. He pushes the button for the automatic doors to open and Misty, Alex and Psyduck stroll in
"This place is hurting my eyes." Alex groans
"Hello everyone." Misty greets them
Team Rocket's eyes widen in shock
"Welcome to Salon Roquet young lady." Jessie greets Misty. Her and James grin at each other and they suddenly grab Misty
"Hey what are you doing?" Misty asks confused as they drag her over to the makeup section
"Step in don't be shy." James replies
"No not me Psyduck." Misty tells them
"Don't be so hard on yourself. You're just as lovely as any Psyduck." Jessie tells her.
Team Rocket drag Misty behind a changing curtain
"Hey wait a second!"
Alex and Psyduck just watch confused
"I feel like there's some kind of breach of contract here." Alex says to Psyduck
Psy?
"Tada!" Team Rocket show Misty her new look in a mirror. They've changed her hairstyle, given her a new jacket and sunglasses, put ribbons in her hair, and flowers around her shoes
"I love it!" Misty yells
"What?" Alex asks confused
"Let's try out more styles!" Misty shouts enthusiastically
"Time for a makeover!" Jessie and James yell. They sit Misty down in a chair and start painting her face, literally they're actually using paint. They paint stars and stripes all over her face and give her a clown nose. Alex just watches the whole thing extremely confused
"It's official. I have no clue what fashion is."
Meowth is getting more and more frustrated until he finally snaps
"Enough already! They hang out with that Pikachu! We need to grill them for information!" Meowth tosses his fake glasses off angrily
"Wait you're Meowth!" Misty shouts shocked
"Hmm. Oh hi Meowth." Alex replies surprised
Jessie and James glare at Meowth. They suddenly attack him
"That's what we were doing you numbskull!" Jessie yells
"We were making her comfortable so we could get the information out of her but then you had to open your big Meowth!" James yells
"You're Team Rocket!" Misty yells shocked. She tries to make a run for it but James presses a button causing her to be restrained to the chair
"Alex help!" Misty yells
"Uh sure. Go Po-" Alex is about to toss his pokeball when Meowth leaps on him, "Ah!"
Meowth knocks him to the ground, "Restrain him!"
Jessie and James tie Alex up.
"Sorry Alex but we can't afford to have you call for help." James gags Alex
"Mmm! Mmm!" Alex yells into the gag
"Now twerp you're gonna tell us where Pikachu is or else we're gonna paint your face like Frankenstein." James threatens Misty
"Do I want a face like Frankenstein?" Misty asks frightened, "Psyduck help!"
But Psyduck is gone
"Where did it go?" Meowth asks confused
"It probably got lost. Stupid duck." Jessie replies
"Psyduck." Misty mutters angrily
Psyduck rushes through Scissors Street until he finds Suzie's Salon. He pushes his way through the crowd and to the front where Ash is massaging Pikachu
Psyduck! Psy! Psyduck!
"What's wrong Psyduck? Did something happen to Misty?" Ash asks concerned
Psy aye aye!
Psyduck turns and starts running. Ash, Brock and Pikachu chase after it. It leads back to Salon Roquet and they rush inside
"Misty!" Ash yells
He sees Misty stuck to her chair and Team Rocket interrogating her. Alex has been dumped in the corner
"It's Team Rocket!" They yell
"What took you guys so long?" Misty asks them
"What happened to her face?" Ash asks. Him and Brock struggle not to laugh
"Dumb boys." Misty mutters annoyed
Suzie heads over carrying Vulpix, not entirely certain what's going on
"Let Misty and Alex go right now!" Ash yells
"Not until we're done with the makeover." Jessie laughs and dabs some paint on Misty's cheek
"Yeah when we're done you're not gonna even be able to recognize her!" James laughs as well
"Please don't let them paint my face!" Misty yells
"We'll make a deal twerp. Hand over your Pikachu for your friends." Meowth tells Ash
"No way!" Ash yells
"You two are a disgrace to Pokemon Breeders!" Suzie exclaims angrily
"What do you know?" Jessie asks her condescendingly, "We've been making all our customers happy. You were reduced to stealing from us!"
"Enough about the stupid beauty parlor!" Meowth yells angrily, "This whole thing's supposed to be a scam anyway!"
The crowd which had followed Suzie gasp in shock
"Meowth!" Jessie and James yell at Meowth angrily, "We were planning on going legit!"
"It's too late for dat! Now let's get that Pikachu and get out of here!" Meowth yells
"Fine." James presses a button and the lights turn out
"I can't see!" Brock yells
The ground starts shaking
"What's going on!" Ash yells
The Salon transforms into a giant stage
"Now Salon Roquet presents a Fashion Extravaganza and Pokemon Battle-thon!" Jessie announces
The spotlight appears on Jessie and James who have changed into fashionable costumes.
Jessie: To protect the world from boring fashion!
James: To dress all people with flash and passion!
Jessie: To give all Pokémon pretty faces!
James: To extend our art to outer spaces!
Jessie: Jessie!
James: James!
Jessie: Salon Roquet! When it comes to chic, we know what's right!
James: Surrender your taste or prepare to fight!
"I refuse to say the motto to that." Meowth comments
"Go Ekans!" Jessie yells
"Go Koffing!" James yells
Ekans and Koffing pop out of their pokeballs. They are wearing the fashionable clothing that was advertised on the billboard
"Go Pikachu!" Ash yells
"Go Geodude!" Brock yells
The four Pokemon prepare to fight
"Dazzle them Ekans!" Jessie yells
"Knock em dead Koffing!" James yells
Team Rocket's Pokemon rush towards Pikachu and Geodude
"Pikachu use that supercharge from the massage and give them a Thunderbolt!" Ash yells
Pikachu fires the Thunderbolt which bounces off of Ekans and Koffing harmlessly
"What!" Ash yells confused
"All Salon Roquet clothing is resistant to electricity!" Jessie tells him
"Your Pikachu's electric attacks won't help you now!" James yells
"Pikachu use Quick Attack!" Ash yells
Pikachu speeds towards Koffing
"Koffing Smog!" James yells
Koffing spits sludge at the ground and Pikachu slips on it
Pika!
He slams into the ground
"Pikachu no!" Ash yells
"Geodude use Seismic Toss!" Brock yells
Geodude flies up to Ekans and grabs it. It flies into the air, spins, and tosses Ekans towards the ground. However Ekans suddenly starts spinning itself and uses Rapid Spin to slam into Pikachu
Chu!
"Ah!" Brock yells, "Ekans can't even use Rapid Spin!"
"That is the power of fashion!" Jessie and James yell
"Now Ekans use Bite!" Jessie yells
Ekans leaps at Geodude and bites it
Geodude!
"Koffing use Smog!" James yells and Koffing spits the sludge at Geodude hitting it and blowing it into a wall
Geodude!
Geodude collapses to the ground. Pikachu tries to get back to his feet but he plops over
"They beat us!" Ash and Brock yell shocked
"We actually won!" Team Rocket cheer happily, "We're gonna get Pikachu!"
"Not so fast!" Suzie yells and Vulpix leaps out to battle, "Vulpix and I will take care of them."
"We'll give your Vulpix a makeover by getting rid of it's tails!" Jessie yells
"Time to give you a lesson in breeding. If all you're worried about is a Pokemon's outer beauty then it's inner strength will be lost!"
Jessie and James look at each other
"She acts like we don't care about our Pokemon." James tells Jessie
"We'll show her." Jessie replies angrily
"Vulpix use Fire Spin!" Suzie yells
Vulpix breathes out a powerful spiral of flames which forms into a tornado. It heads towards Team Rocket, Alex and Misty
"Ah!" Team Rocket yell and leap out of the way
"Don't Fire Spin me!" Misty yells. Her and Alex both get hit by the Fire Spin
"Phew that was close." James says
"Alright let's show her! Ekans use Poison Sting!" Jessie yells
"Koffing use Smog!" James yells
The two Poison types fire their attacks hitting Vulpix
Vul!
"Ah Vulpix!" Suzie yells shocked
"Vulpix no!" Brock yells
"You act all high and mighty but I bet you and that Vulpix haven't battled in ages!" Jessie yells
"You sit there at your Salon giving lectures! Meanwhile we've been out performing top operations!" James yells
Alex manages to slip off the ropes which have been burnt by the Fire Spin. He pulls the gag out of his mouth
"That was really gross." He grabs his pokeball, "Alright I'm in a pretty bad mood! Porygon go!"
Po-ry-gon
"Wait what's that!" Team Rocket yell confused
"I've never seen that Pokemon before." Ash pulls out his Pokedex
Porygon the Virtual Pokemon. A Normal type. A man-made Pokémon created using advanced scientific means. It can move freely in cyberspace. Porygon has no known evolutions. Porygon are Genderless
"Alright Porygon use Tri Attack!" Alex yells
A yellow orb appears above Porygon's head. A light blue orb appears to the left of Porygon's face, and an orange orb appears to the right. The energy from the three orbs connect together forming a triangle. Porygon then fires the attack directly at Team Rocket
"Oh no!" Team Rocket yells
The attack hits them causing an explosion and sending them blasting off
"Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
"Way to go Alex!" Ash cheers
"Return Porygon." Alex returns Porygon
Suzie is checking on Vulpix, "Are you ok Vulpix?"
Vul...
"Suzie are you alright?" Brock asks concerned
"I'm fine Brock. I just have a lot to consider." Suzie answers
Psyduck is wandering around the stage confused
"Psyduck get up here and untie me right now!" Misty yells
Psy?
"Oh you're giving me a headache!"
Suzie is closing up her salon
"Are you sure about this Suzie?" Brock asks
"It's only temporary Brock. Team Rocket made me realize that I don't know as much as I thought I did. I'm still a student, and so I need to go out and travel." Suzie explains
"I understand." Brock says
Suzie offers her hand to Brock and he shakes it nervously
"From now on we're rivals." She tells him
"Uh sure." Brock replies
Vulpix walks over and nuzzles against Brock's leg
Vulpix!
"Hmm?" Brock looks down confused
"I'd be grateful if you took care of Vulpix for me."
"What?" Brock looks up shocked
"You're the first person other than me that Vulpix has been friendly with. Right now I believe you could do a better job of raising her than I could." Suzie explains
Brock starts tearing up, "Thanks. I don't know what to say."
Suzie hands Brock Vulpix's pokeball
"You don't have to worry." Brock says to both Suzie and Vulpix, "I promise I'll take good care of you."
Brock holds out the pokeball and returns Vulpix. He then strikes Ash's pose
"Alright I got Vulpix!"
Ash, Alex, Misty and Pikachu are watching in the background. They glance at Misty's face and then burst out laughing
"Hey this makeup is considered very fashionable!" Misty yells at them
"Maybe in a circus!" Ash laughs
"She could be a clown!" Alex laughs
Misty grabs Alex's baseball bat and smacks them both with it
The next day the group are visiting the Celadon Department Store. Misty is browsing through things when she notices Stacy
"Stacy!" She shouts surprised. Stacy looks over at her
"Misty!" The two run over to each other
"How have you been?" Misty asks
"Oh I'm great. I've already gotten enough badges to compete in the Elemental League." Stacy answers
"Oh wow really. I've still only gotten one." Misty responds
"Hey talk about good timing. I heard there's a Grass type tournament taking place in HopHopHop Town in a few days. If you leave soon you should make it in time." Stacy tells her
"Really? Wow! I have to go tell the others."
The group have departed Celadon and are now on their way to HopHopHop Town
"Ok seriously who names their town HopHopHop?" Alex asks annoyed

Ash and Alex are crying and hugging each other
Ash: I'm so sorry for how I acted!
Alex: No I'm sorry! We shouldn't fight!
Misty: What is with you guys lately?
Me: So the mysterious Pokemon has been revealed. I know some of you might be confused about Porygon's lack of evolutions but I have plans for that don't you worry. And now we head for HopHopHop Town for our next tournament.
